1000 Geran drones hit targets in western Ukraine last night. Apparently this was the first test of the Rassvet-3 satellite guided strikes. If it was successful, western Ukraine won’t be spared the fate of eastern Ukraine.

RUAF drone struck AFU train in Lutsk railway station. It seems to be exactly the same train EU/Nato ‘leaders’ use to travel to Kiev.

This could be a game changer. Targeting gas stations right on the 404-Polish border. Start backfilling destroyed gas stations right from the border all the way back to Kiev, Uman and Dnipro.

After targeting railway infrastructure and petrol stations in western Ukraine, the next target of Russia’s massive Geran-2 drone attack has been border crossings with Poland.

One of the targets was a petrol station at the Yagodin border crossing in Volyn Oblast, connecting the Ukrainian city of Kovel with the Polish city of Chełm.

Additionally, a Geran-4 jet-drone struck a railway station in an unknown section of the international border.

Merz has taken a leaf out of George W Bush’s playbook by claiming that Russia hates us for our freedom and democracy. This is embarrassing since Europe’s ‘democracy’ is in tatters and he must know it. Our ‘freedoms’ are a joke, especially here in bonnie Scotland where speech is about as free as a bird in a cage.

Just to add to Elber’s #1 post

“Kiev strikes emergency fuel convoy to Europe’s biggest nuclear plant”

“Two guards were killed in attacks on diesel tankers supplying the Zaporozhye facility, according to the Russian nuclear corporation”
No doubt the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will give out a weasel statement of non-blame despite warning that diesel reserves have hit critical levels due to been cut off from the main grid for 3 weeks.

It’s hard to know which is worse: a rogue gang of Kiev regime drone operators hoping to trigger Chernobyl 2.0 or a NATO approved strike designed to do the same.

Bojo
was aboard a private train that was given an evacuation warning after a nearby locomotive was hit by a Russian drone attack.
The former British prime minister was travelling back towards Poland after attending a major security conference in Kyiv when the train stopped at around 5am amid a drone alert.
Mr Johnson is understood to have escaped unharmed, with an all-clear given shortly afterwards when no further drones were detected.
Former Swedish prime minister Carl Bildt, who was also on board, said passengers on the train received an evacuation warning.
But it is not clear if anyone had to leave the train before it then escaped across the border to Nato territory in Poland.
He revealed that it was the train immediately behind them that was hit by the Russian drone.
‘This wasn’t our train [that was hit], but the one just minutes after us by the [Polish] border crossing,’ said Mr Bildt.
‘It was evacuated as the [Russian] drone approached and no one was hurt.’
The incident came after another train travelling on the Kyiv-Warsaw route was struck by a Russian drone near the Polish border.

According to Sasha Kots:

A private chartered train was also scheduled to pass by at that time. Around five in the morning, it stopped, and the conductors went to wake Günter Sautter, advisor to Friedrich Merz on foreign policy and security, members of the Bundestag, diplomats, and Boris Johnson, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
They were returning from a conference called “Peace through Strength – Now.” It was held in the underground halls of the Kyiv Intercontinental, where the reception areas also serve as shelters.

Ahah…one of the other Dignitaries is  Jonathan Powell he of deeply entrenched mystery mover re Syria over decades against Assad and rehabilitating the al nusrah terrorist to President…and actually of much more power and connections than the buffoon…

“Europe must prepare for a hard winter if it is going to keep up the economic pressure on Russia over its illegal invasion of Ukraine, the UK national security adviser has warned.
In a bleak forecast, Jonathan Powell said the continent’s people must continue to ‘swallow’ the impact of sanctions on Moscow, adding that now was not the time for its leaders to take their ‘foot off the gas’.
His rare public comments – made to an audience of Ukrainian leaders and international backers in Kyiv – came as Russia steps up attacks on Ukraine infrastructure and frontline cities.
Meanwhile as Europe prepares for its fifth winter since setting out to reduce its
dependence on Russian oil and gas, experts have warned that Britain could face a winter of discontent as fears grow of a ‘triple whammy’ of rises to energy bills, interest rates and taxes….

Ukraine targets more Russian oil facilities

The two Russian civilians died after a drone slammed into a tree near their parked car in the city of Nizhnekamsk, according to the office of regional head Rustam Minnikhanov.

Nizhnekamsk houses a key cluster of oil refineries and petrochemical, rubber and polymer plants, including some of Russia’s largest facilities of their kind. Mayor Radmir Belyaev said that a fire had broken out at an unspecified “enterprise.”

Ukraine also claimed on Sunday to have hit a major oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, in Russia’s Krasnodar region, across from Crimea. The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) agency said its drones struck a key oil processing unit and the refinery’s tank farm overnight.

Krasnodar authorities said the strike on “an enterprise” in Slavyansk-on-Kuban injured three people, damaged an oil pipeline and started a blaze. They did not directly respond to the Ukrainian claims.

Russian forces shot down 389 Ukrainian drones during the night, Russia’s defense ministry said Sunday.

Refineries can be protected by putting very tall poles around them that you can wrap thin and flexible metal wire net around. That protects them from a drone slamming from the side.

The bigger issue is how you protect above them. That would need some sort of structure of poles above the refinery which also support a metal net that prevent drones from diving on them.

Or poles/towers with anti-drone guns on them. They poles/towers would need special cameras and perhaps sound equipment too to spot the drones.

That’s because Russia wasn’t ever hitting trains running between Lwow and Kiev, until now. Thanks to the new Rassvets-3 satellite system.

Russian drones struck a gas station and a locomotive of a Kyiv–Warsaw train near Ukraine’s border with Poland, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) reported. The train was about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Polish border.

Ukrzaliznytsia later confirmed a diplomatic train was present at the site shortly before the Russian drone arrived.

“Shortly before the locomotive was hit on the border between Ukraine and Poland at the Yagodin station, a diplomatic train was present, carrying, among others, security advisors from several EU member states, as well as former European leaders, including former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson,” Ukrzaliznytsia wrote.

The lady quoted in the Guardian story identified the sound of a Shahed. Russia needs to rename its drones to the “Wildberry” weapons system.

The RF counter narrative is we “struck railway infrastructure used to transport military cargo”. How much more effective it would be if the RF narrative were “Wildberries strikes targeted trains carrying military military equipment.” The listener is reminded every time who struck Amazon (Which every girl loves) first.

Good narrative is funny and needs to be repeated often. It allows the proponent of a counter narritive (who hides in the bushes) to be laughed at. It needs to be about diminishing status.

It has just been confirmed that European officials were on board the train when a Russian Shahed drone struck near the Polish-Ukrainian border.

According to various sources, those present included a close advisor to Chancellor Merz, national security advisors from European countries, members of the German Bundestag, diplomats, academics, and former British PM Boris Johnson, they were all leaving Ukraine and heading towards Poland.

Russia’s objective was likely not to hit the train itself, but to send a message to Europe, a message that appears to have been received, given that Polish PM Tusk has called an emergency meeting for 5:00 PM with Poland’s defense, interior, and intelligence chiefs.

Subtle messages like that are good for people who understand subtleties. Russia should have blown up the train with the eurotards inside (and their cocaine stash) so that they could get the message.

It’s long past due date to whack those eurotards. Look, not one tax peasant in EU cares. If Polish PM, Finn prez, German chancellor get wasted in Kiev, no one would care.

Leaving them alive creates at least as big if not bigger media spectacle out of the event. Killing them has no more other negative effects for Russia. What is Nato going to do? Try to assassinate more officers inside Russia? Do more terror attacks? Oh wait… nevermind.

It’s only after the event they start creating a media spectacle out of it, out of themselves, they have to make themselves important and this event important through the media. Hence Tusk’s ’emergency meetings’ etc. To make it look important, and trying to get more escalation. Next time just waste them, because no one cares in EU. Nato will just replace the real clowns with green screen holograms.

In fact if they were killed the media would most likely just shut up and burry the event, like they did for Lindsey Graham, because Nato is an empty suite with no power to do anything it isn’t already doing.

The question remains the same:

Why wait more than four years into the war?
Why not strike the station instead of giving the rats time to hide in the bushes, waiting for a new train?
Why hit a locomotive two kilometers away—rather than ten—when there are others at the station ready to replace it?

Questions, always questions—and always without an answer.

If you speak German or are willing to translate, here’s another link to Thomas Röper’s Anti-Spiegel. He explains very well that the current power struggle in Ukraine is really the struggle for control over Ukraine, and how it works. It’s the same mechanism EU tries in Moldovia and Armenia and that has (so far) failed in Georgia.

When has cabinet level politicians ever stopped a war let alone retired politicians and technocrats?
If anything it becomes a rallying point for the war and makes it politically more difficult to walk away from a war.

Theoretically it could become a rallying point, but practically Ukraine war and the constant bombarding of propaganda for years in MSM have left the ‘official narrative’ of the war in a hyper-inflation zone. Literally no one cares any more. If (BlackRock installed) heads of state get killed in a train, people in the west would just shrug their shoulders and continue on.

So that wouldn’t be used as excuse/reason to rally anything/anyone in the west, but they could attempt do some other false flag, similar on WTC scale as a rallying point and blame Russia. However, whether or not the puppet heads of state get killed is irrelevant, if they want to do it they will do it regardless.

Otherwise you’re right, these puppets are merely extremely irritating in their narcissism and brain dead obedience in repeating the same official lies, but they don’t have impact on anything that’s happening. The only possibility is if a bunch of them get whacked, the rest of them would shut up. But maybe the likelihood of that happening is low.

On the other hand oligarchs and puppets simply ignore reality until it’s their OWN health, life, or wealth on the line. That is just human nature. The real target would be city of London oligarchs and banks.

Also to add, MSM no longer has any power/influence on western population behavior. If you shut off the tv, radio and internet of official MSM/state sources, you notice your quality of life improves dramatically. More and more people are doing it. Shut the state/MSM and its attempt to influence your thinking out of your life and head.

Beyond that it’s only when they go to Ukraine style bussification starts making your quality of life worse. Because that is no more propaganda, but physical violence against your life. That might be coming in EU/UK, maybe USA as a response to MSM losing control over the population, distrust being ultra-high. That needs some very drastic action like WTC, perhaps a nuclear attack somewhere in the west. Something shocking enough enabling them to implement martial laws.

Every single rail locomotive and locomotive repair yard needs to be toasted (rail lines are relatively easy to repair – see the German rail system in WWII).

Russia already has a well documented policy of hitting locomotives, for no reason beyond that they are moving. They are doing very targetted railway disruption, but make no mistake, they will bring all Ukrainian rail to a stop. They have been working on this for a few months … don’t quote me on exact dates.

For the most part they don’t blast the passengers, nor do I believe that Russia has specific info about which international bigwigs are on which train. This about jamming all shipments. Big trucks get hit, gas stations, some bridges and near the front line pretty much any vehicle of any size gets hit.

Current trajectories are that Russia and Iran and North Korea and China are either maintaining or increasing their power from day to day.  The US and Europe and Israel their vassals are losing power and strength daily.  For Russia and Iran, North Korea and China are acting as backups for anything that Russia and Iran find themselves short on.

Internationally, nations are inching away from the US – and towards the Chinese and Russian monetary do-not-use-US-dollars economic systems.  The Russian recent Shock and Awe air attacks on Ukraine, even deep into Western Ukraine, have served as Russia’s message to its people, and to the world.

The recent money that Europe or US spent to send over 100k US and European drones into Eastern Ukraine <I mean West Russia>, Crimea, and other parts of Russia, has been spent.  The recent counter offensives have been repelled, and the money spent to buy this counter offensive now shows up as US or European debt.

Russian weapons systems feature a design philosophy of simple, inexpensive, easy to repair and easy to operate. If a soldier falls a 14 year old girl should be able to step in. Think the AK-47 design philosophy across multiple systems. For US/NATO weapons systems procurement not based upon what a Marine grunt wants, but upon cost multipliers like politics. eg Patriots cost $3.9 million to $4 million per missile with export and variant prices up to $7 million. I remember a Russian missile strike in Kiev that cause the launch of 28 Patriots probably with a bunch of something cheap and obsolete. $1B spent vs the cost to take out the trash. Now spread that design philosophy across all US/NATO systems.
So Russia is positioned well to engage in a financial war of attrition.

Russians don’t do “shock and awe”. It’s an American concept that the enemy should be so shocked and in awe of the USA’s awesomeness that they give up in futility.

What the Russians are doing with their strikes is systematically working to meet their military objective of demilitarization.

The Ukrainians use factories to make weapons, warehoused to store weapons and trains and trucks to move weapons. These are what’s currently being targeted. Locomotives, shipping warehouses, ports, border crossings, truck parking lots, gas stations and electrical generation and transmission infrastructure.

What’s missing from a US “shock and awe” campaign is attacks on water pumping and sewage treatment plants and civilian government offices which are targets only meant to demoralize and cause hardship on the civilian population. The idea is to make it seem futile to fight the US military and that the longer they wait to capitulate the more civilians die so they may as well give up.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/sep/05/sinn-fein-traitors-how-far-right-rhetoric-derailed-party-path-to-power-in-ireland

For Siobhán Fenton, the dream of Sinn Féin winning power and leading a progressive leftwing government evaporated the day she was canvassing in Dublin and felt a cold, sharp sting on her neck.
She was in the passageway of a block of flats in the inner city, knocking on doors, and looked around for the source. Fenton, a media adviser to the party leader, Mary Lou McDonald, felt another sting on her shoulder, then another on her forearm.
They were coins, thrown from a balcony above, where a man’s voice was shouting. “Sinn Féin traitors!” he roared. “Mary Lou Mohammad! Ireland is full!”
It was May 2024, and instead of steaming towards victory in local and European elections – widely deemed a foregone conclusion, to be followed by a historic triumph in a general election – the party was experiencing a backlash fuelled by anti-immigrant sentiment in what was usually a bastion of working-class support.

Former Chief of the Polish General Staff Mieczysław Cieniuch has warned that Russia could begin striking Ukraine’s western border to cut off Western arms shipments.

“The supply corridor from Poland and Romania is now in the sights of the Russian army. This should complicate the delivery of weapons from allies. Winter is approaching, so cutting off supply routes will matter a great deal. We must prepare for escalation,” he said on TVP Info.

Russia has already started striking areas near Ukraine’s western border crossings, and reports suggest the strikes will only intensify.

I remember thinking from the start that Russia should go after the bridges and roads at Ukraine’s borders with Poland. Russia could have save the lives of 100,000 of its soldiers if it had concentrated on that.

Well, that is not the case anymore, NATO is waging all out war against Russia and NATO ‘advisors’ are being wiped out at a steady rate, (UK just acknowledged another KIA from a ‘road accident’).

Knocking out railroad locomotives is good first step, but the destruction of the rail and super highway bridges should be priority number one (and issue a general warning for all railroad workers to stay home and out of danger for the duration, no crews no rail movement), especially near the Polish border!  No more glamour trains to Kieve!

Indeed “shock and awe” is all the US military forces know how to do, and when it inevitably fails they are stymied, ending up faced with a righteously cheesed-off target civilian population organising themselves into militias and guerilla groupings.

I’m struggling to think of any instance of “shock and awe” inflicted by the US that has actually worked out.

It doesn’t work, and that is why the Russians aren’t doing it in Ukraine, “shock and awe” doesn’t leave any room for military escalation or parallel diplomatic moves towards any negotiated de-escalation.

A second British soldier has been killed on operations in Ukraine, the Ministry of Defence (MOD) confirmed this afternoon.
Officials said the as yet unnamed individual died following a ‘road traffic incident’. They declined to specify the location of the crash.
No details of the unit to which the deceased belonged have emerged so far. Previously the MOD has acknowledged the presence of a small number of selected UK personnel in Ukraine.
Their roles include providing security for British diplomats working there supporting the country’s armed forces.
In December last year a paratrooper, Lance Corporal George Hooley, was killed in Ukraine in mysterious circumstances.
Officials merely confirmed that LCpl Hooley, 28, was ‘testing a new defensive capability away from the front lines’.
This afternoon the MOD said: ‘It is with deep regret that we must announce that a member of the UK Armed Forces died in a road traffic incident in Ukraine on Saturday 12th September.
‘The family have been informed and have requested a period of grace before further details are released. Our thoughts and our sympathies are with the individual’s loved ones at this difficult time.’

For all those griping about “I’d have done that years ago”, please consider that Russia is also running a cost-effective campaign; it is not committing all its production facilities to the SMO, because that will be more economically damaging than any of the myriad of Western snactions.

We await concrete proposals from our partners.”

When I first read it I agreed 100%.

After second thought, if anything this understates the difference between US targeting and Russian targeting.  US officials have openly and proudly talked about the drone attacks on Russia as a way to bring the war to the Russian people.

This is the exact definition of terrorism.  Blowing up stuff to demoralize civilian populations is the exact core of what terrorism is.  US Shock and Awe IS terrorism.  The US and European drone campaign Russia IS terrorism.  Not terribly effective, and the US does target military targets as well.

Russia and Iran are not doing anything even close to that.  I’ll refrain from calling Russia air attacks on targets in Ukraine as Shock and Awe in the future.  I’ll call US drone attacks on Russia as Shock and Awe.
