News & views related to the war in Ukraine …

Russia fired its new rapid, jet-powered drones against Ukraine every day throughout August, BBC Verify analysis of Ukrainian Air Force data has found, escalating its use of a weapon that Kyiv’s air defences are struggling to deal with.
It marked the first time that daily attacks by Moscow’s new upgraded Geran drones were recorded in Ukrainian Air Force data. The growing use of jet-propelled and other varieties of drones prompted President Volodymyr Zelensky to condemn what he called an unfolding “horror” over the skies of Kyiv.
Ukraine’s military recently told the BBC that jet-powered drone attacks grew from 350 in June to 1,600 in July and 2,800 in August. In five of the nightly attacks in August, these drones outnumbered the older, slower models.
“The reason for turning to jet-powered drones is that they are much faster than the previous generation and it makes it much more difficult for Ukraine to intercept them,” said Dr Marina Miron, an expert on military technology at King’s College London.
The upgraded munitions can cruise at more than 300mph, significantly faster than older models and well beyond the top speed of Kyiv’s interceptors. The drones are powered by turbojet engines, some of which, according to Ukrainian military intelligence, are sourced from China.
According to Zelensky, the drones were used as part of a wave of attacks that killed at least 12 people and injured 20 more on 1 September. Six of the casualties were railway workers after a depot was hit in Kyiv.
And on Wednesday the Moldovan government said a plane carrying Zelensky was delayed at Chisinau airport on Tuesday after a Russian drone – reported to be jet-powered – entered Moldovan airspace.
Earlier this year Ukraine showed relative success in countering Russian drones and was intercepting 94% of long-range drones, according to Zelensky. But the speed of the newer drones has prompted the latest round in Kyiv and Moscow’s arms race. On 10 August, Ukraine’s deputy head of military intelligence, Maj Gen Vadym Skibitskyi, said his forces needed new interceptor missiles “capable of matching [jet-drones’] speed”.

Mikhail Zvinchuk, head of the Rybar analysis team, on the problem of false reports in the Russian Army (source video in Russian):

The problem of false reports and window-dressing has become so systemic that the famous slogan “it’s okay to make mistakes, but lying is forbidden” is now perceived somewhat differently—even though the new head of the defense ministry originally built his public rhetoric around it. However, time has passed, and a vast number of false maps, false reports, and triumphant declarations—which primarily carry a political message intended for the West—have unfortunately become something of a hallmark of Russian military information policy. Yet, these reports don’t just appear out of nowhere; there are several underlying realities at play.

First, consider a unit that wants to demonstrate results but faces a shortage of specific types of ammunition. They receive a combat mission and realize that—since no one is likely to verify the details and they have few drones—they can simply claim to have cleared a particular settlement. They send a messenger with this report, and—because they are now seen as a successful unit—they get allocated a batch of drones (which are in short supply everywhere) so they can keep advancing. Then, they plan to quickly go in and actually clear the area. That is one line of reasoning.

The second line of reasoning is based on a simple principle: “I messed up; I’ll be called out on it and held accountable. It’s better if I fix the problem later so I don’t get my ass chewed out,” as the saying goes. This is another crucial issue, as it often reflects problems on the ground—at the mid-level command tier rather than at the level of force group commanders, who cannot possibly verify absolutely everything themselves. Yet, that is precisely where a chain of decisions is made, driven primarily by a desire to cover one’s own backside.

Overall, this creates a massive, tangled mess of irreconcilable contradictions and deceptive practices that cannot be easily unraveled. Consequently, the Ministry of Defense’s channels release reports that are quite detached from reality—claiming a victory, for instance, in an area 30 kilometers away from the actual contact line. The information narrative takes precedence over common sense.

Of course, inspections and commissions do exist; there is an effort to keep internal disputes private and to demand objective verification. This has even spawned a trend of AI-generated videos; while people have learned to track down and cross-check existing archival footage online, AI-generated clips are a different matter entirely. Another tactic involves using quadcopters or drones to drop magnetic flags onto a specific area to demonstrate control—and then capturing that moment on camera.

Ultimately, this flood of problems leads to one outcome: a flawed assessment of the situation and poor decision-making. For example, you cannot secure air reserves for an area that has supposedly already been liberated, nor can you obtain additional fire support assets—because those resources are allocated to sectors where an advance is underway. After all, why strike an area you already control? To do so would require admitting there are problems, that the enemy has launched an offensive, and—in essence—that someone made a mistake.

And any mistake creates an opening for someone else to step in and perform a feat of heroism. And so it turns out that rectifying the errors and false reports of others becomes a feat no less significant than the actual liberation of a settlement or a rapid breakthrough of the front line—especially under today’s grueling conditions.

Unfortunately, this practice of pulling the wool over people’s eyes stems from all-too-human vices and fears. Alas. To overcome them, one would need to alter the very decision-making process within the human mind. And that, regrettably, is a challenge that isn’t just “starred” for difficulty—it’s a challenge of truly monumental proportions.

The following interview of Col Douglas MacGregor by Judge Napolitano makes an interesting claim.  Napolitano relates to MacGregor that he had a three hour dinner with Lavrov during his visit to Russia.  During the dinner Lavrov candidly spoke about the meeting the Russians had with the U.S. in Anchorage.  He said that they discussed a proposal that the Americans had sent a week before the meeting to end the war and that the Russians agreed to the proposal.  He added that Trump said that Zelensky would do whatever he wanted him to do.  However, after that they heard nothing.

175 km2 is the work Russians do every week.

It is a setback, but only in a small area.

Both Liman and Chasiv Yar are difficult grounds.  Hard to take, hard to hold.

In the meantime, Orekhov is 50% taken, and Kupyansk is 90% back in russian hands, while the russians get closer and closer to Slavyansk Kramatorsk every day.

As the war continues on, the Lyman offensive is just not mattering.  The only interesting thing about the Lyman offensive is how much damage will Russia do to the Azov units that have been reported to be in that area.  Russia is just taking too much territory in other parts of the front.

I am watching the latest russian version of Military Summary, Liman has not been re-captured by the Ukrainians.  Nobody is reporting that.  Southfront reported about 10% in the south had been taken by Ukraine a couple days ago.

So yeah, drive-by account posts drive-by nonsense.

I’d like to see the link too along with the video timing of the statement.  I watch Military Summary twice a day and don’t recall hearing him say that the Russians had taken control of Lyman.  Perhaps that’s the reason for the crickets?

A few weeks ago AFu had a big offensive that took about 160 km2 north of Galiopole, I believe it was.   A few weeks later, russia had taken 90% of it back.

What did Russia do during times of AFU offensive in Gulyapole or Lyman? They must have a standardized procedure for counter-attack.

Haven’t been following too much lately, but it used to be pulling in areas where AFU main effort is pushing, while holding the flanks where AFU can’t push. The infamous battle of Rabotyne in 2023 comes to mind. RUAF formed a killing field just on the fields east of Rabotyne – easy to go in, hard to get out, just like Hotel California.

Maybe something similar is going on here, too. Albeit apparently AFU has had success taking areas NW of Lyman.

The Lyman counter offensive reclaimed a salient Russia was in North of Kramatorsk.

About 6 months ago Russia lost Kupyansk, but took Konstantinovka.

Now Russia holds most of Kupyansk and firmly holds all of Konstantinovka, form which it is assaulting Druzhovka.

“Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.”

Sun Tzu

So my guess would be in Kupyansk, as well as West of Lyman, Russia is offering a place for units that would better be off defending their main objectives, (Druzhovka and Kramatorsk)

Most likely AFU had no choice but to attempt to attack the RUAF salient NW of Lyman. Otherise Slavyansk would be completely cut off from the north.

On the other hand it’s at least partially true, those units attacking NW of Lyman are away from Druzhovka and Slavyansk, but it could reopen/secure the road between Slavyansk and Izyum. I wouldn’t consider it too critical from RUAF point of view, if they destroyed so many gas stations there might not be too many operational vehicles for AFU supply ops anyway.

The other big story is supposedly large AFU unit cut off in Bilyi Kolodiaz SE/S of Vovchansk.

The Two Permanent Wars the Russian Army is Fighting – Against the US, NATO, Against the Russian Oligarchy’s Allies in the US & NATO (& audio)

https://johnhelmer.net/the-two-permanent-wars-the-russian-army-is-fighting-against-the-us-nato-against-the-russian-oligarchys-allies-in-the-us-nato/

“The men of the Russian military forces doing the fighting on the Ukraine front are defending far more unequally distributed Russian national income and asset wealth on the home front than the Red Army which fought and won the war against Germany and Japan, The Great Patriotic War of 1939-1945.

Moreover, if expert estimates are correct, the men fighting World War I were defending a Romanov-regime tsarist nation whose measurable inequality was less – repeat less – than the Russian society of today. In 1917 that inequality triggered the Bolshevik Revolution.

In that direction, a steady, unpredictable, unmeasured revolution is under way; it is about to express itself in the nationwide vote for the new State Duma on September 18-20.

This revolution is being joined by the Russian businessmen who are taking over the assets in Russia of the enemy states, and who aim to replace the 30-year old, 1996-2026 generation of oligarchs. It is also a revolution of the working class which has fought on the front and whose cash gains have been earned by death. What is happening is visible – but not to the Anglo-American propagandists engaged by Moscow to podcast to Americans.

After dining this week in Moscow as Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s guest, an ex-CIA official named Larry Johnson, accompanied by American podcast impresario Andrew Napolitano, Chicago professor John Mearsheimer, and MI6 agent Alastair Crooke, declared: ‘The propaganda percolating in the West about Russia’s failing economy and rising political unrest is a complete fabrication. If you have ever walked around a vibrant city filled with happy people going about their business then you know the vibe in Moscow.’

Johnson and others had just eaten Lavrov’s halibut and meringue roll with cherry, washed down with a Krasnodor region wine (Manor Divnomorskoye Pinot Blanc). The vineyard is owned and the bottle sold by Gennady Timchenko, one of the most powerful of the oil and shipping oligarchs to rise during Putin’s term,  forced by the war to return from homes in Geneva and France to Moscow.

Timchenko and his son-in-law Gleb Frank have also owned the largest of Russia’s fish market producers and suppliers. Timchenko’s Alma Holding, based in Krasnodor, also grows the cherries on Lavrov’s cakes.

The Anglo-Americans whose mouths have just been filled by Timochenko and whose eyes closed by Lavrov are propagandists for an outcome to the current stage of the war against Russia which serves the oligarch interests in their long war against the Russian nation. This alliance is represented in the current round of negotiations by Kirill Dmitriev on the Russian side; Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner on the US side.

CIA director John Ratcliffe has introduced a parallel round of negotiations. Putin has described them all as ‘sharks of imperialism’. At the same time, he has also said: ‘we are quite comfortable working with those who we know well and generally trust. These people are close to President Trump. In my opinion they are sincere people trying to add practical content to our efforts. And President Trump trusts them, which is very important and without which no negotiations are possible.’

According to a London newspaper report claiming as sources ‘five people familiar with the plan’, Ratcliffe ‘will play a larger role in shuttle diplomacy between Russia and Ukraine – which is currently the purview of Witkoff and Kushner – while maintaining contact with intelligence officers in both countries…Two of the people said there was a tug of war underway between Ratcliffe and Witkoff about who leads on what…’

The apparent contradictions between the Americans themselves, between them and the Europeans, and between Putin’s two descriptions of them, are explained in the discussion with Chris Cook in his new Gorilla Radio podcast…”

Meh, Helmer’s just jealous. He is fond of quoting his anonymous Kremlin insider contacts, yet “ex-CIA official Larry Johnson, accompanied by American podcast impresario Andrew Napolitano, Chicago professor John Mearsheimer, and MI6 agent Alastair Crooke ” all get to meet, and dine with, the Kremlin insider of insiders.

Helmer has had his nose put seriously out of joint, and this piece reads like it was written by a tantrum-throwing adolescent who has been excluded from being part of the “in crowd”. He obviously doesn’t like missing out on a great party…

S tried posting that same Rybar report (worderd differently) about 2 weeks ago, claiming an AI generated video was used to claim a capture, which I did not see as AI.  Now this time, it is a really generic article, about supposed lies about captures, and how it is a big problem.

A few weeks ago Russia captured an Andriivka west of Slavyansk, 15 km away from any mappers battle front….

…turned out, it was true.

He also posted an article about how corruption was making some kind of drone be promoted but was useless.   Maybe, but that doesn’t mean Russia has a systemic problem with drone production or missile production and corruption, as can be evidenced by the battlefield.

Yes, Rybar are suspect, they seem to be quite a subtle propaganda operation, posting some legit info sprinkled with sone highly questionable opinion dressed up as fact. It’s hard to disagree with Krapivnik here. EU is collapsing, could face lack of diesel, literal starvation soon and even the traitorous leaders are in panic demanding Russia halt strikes on Ukraine’s ports and locomotives/railways.

Europe’s Winter of Starvation, Ukraine Collapse Underway | Stas Krapivnik

Stanislav Krapivnik discusses Europe’s food and energy pressures, arguing that fertilizer costs, drought and disrupted Ukrainian exports could deepen hardship.

He and Pascal Lottaz examine Germany’s AfD, divisions within European opposition parties, and the limits of renewed diplomacy with Moscow.

Turning to Ukraine, Krapivnik assesses manpower shortages, Russian advances, seasonal fog and the changing role of drones. He argues that new defensive technologies may restore battlefield mobility, while Pascal questions whether local breakthroughs could develop into a broader military collapse.

“ex-CIA official Larry Johnson ” has put together a pretty decent summary of the moves behind how we got to where we are today: https://sonar21.com/the-long-road-in-and-the-short-way-out-how-the-west-built-ukraine-into-a-weapon-against-russia/

The West slipped its nose under the Ukrainian tent almost the instant the Soviet Union collapsed. The formal machinery started in 1992, when Ukraine joined NATO’s North Atlantic Cooperation Council. The practical military ties came fast behind it: the U.S.–Ukraine State Partnership Program with the California National Guard in 1993, Ukraine’s entry into the Partnership for Peace and its first joint exercise in 1994, and the standing-up of the Yavoriv training area near Lviv.

Just finished watching the Ukrainian part of Military Channel.

The US Counter Offensive seems to stay stalled around Lyman, while Russia takes more and more bits and pieces of Ukrainian territory.  Just like any other day.  I keep waiting for one of these counter offensives to have the kind of success that the Kursk Invasion had for a while back in 2024.  Kursk was the only one.  Took somewhere around 6 months for Russia to retake all the land that the US took.

🇵🇱⚔️🇺🇦In Poland, members of the organization “Civil Patrol” discussed the creation of rapid response groups to track down foreigners, primarily Ukrainians, at a closed meeting. A journalist from Gazeta Wyborcza infiltrated the meeting undercover.

According to the organization, approximately two thousand patrols have been conducted across the country. At the meeting, openly anti-Ukrainian statements were made: “The worst are the Ukrainians. They are ungrateful.” Another participant recounted a conspiracy theory about secret meetings of Ukrainians in the forest “against Poland.”

The organization is developing an application to coordinate patrols. Previously, its members were accused of attacking a dormitory housing foreigners, and the prosecutor’s office launched an investigation after illegal document checks.

This is happening against the backdrop of a decline in sympathy for Ukrainians in Poland, from 51% in 2023 to 29% in 2026. At the same time, Ukrainians make up 68% of the foreign workforce and support more than 100,000 businesses.

My main guess is after he got back home -despite not even getting to meet Lavrov (much less Putin)- the agency as a whole is quite happy – as their agency now has higher status. This increased status, if it exists, will translate to more power for them in the near future. Or they hope it will. A savior complex, sort of.

Re: JustSomeOldGuy  @ 44 & 45,
if the head of the CIA is so asinine and vain that he wants to showboat with a motorcade in Moscow before being thrown out with nothing to show for it, then he is in the wrong, wrong line of business and he’s going to fuck things up royal before he gets his next promotion.  Sadly, I think you might be right, the only thing the various sources agree on (both Russian and American) is that Ratcliffe really pissed the Russians off with how he acted during the meeting.  Historically, when the CIA director visited Russia he would go in quietly, restate US concerns and issue vague threats about consequences if specific events were to occur.  But given that the Green Goblin immediately followed Ratcliffe’s visit with his own threats against Russian civilian airlines, I get the feeling Ratcliffe barged into this meeting and issued a bunch of direct threats against Russian civilians unless they immediately agree to a ceasefire (aka surrender).  The Russians told him to F off and now let’s see what happens over the next month or so

The way political infighting in Ukraine is gaining pace in Ukraine, the Russians no longer need to care whether Zelensky is there as a placeholder to keep someone less stupid from becoming in charge. There’ll be no improvement anymore. Any clown can write surrender terms.

Of course, western MSM immediately projected Ukraine’s political collapse into a Russian political collapse. They will try to meddle in the election, perhaps with some sort of atrocious terror attack in Russia.

Hence Putin referred to state backed terrorism immediately after he threatened Russian airlines. A message to Zelensky he is no longer ‘needed’.

Totally incorrect. There is only one “root cause” of the fighting in Ukraine and that is the US project to destroy Russia and take all its stuff. This Project has been running continuously since it was started by Truman in 1945. This has been explained by Brian Berletic several times, but people here just keep ignoring it. They must be US supporters as there is no other explanation(e.g. nobody could be that dumb that they can’t understand it, and nobody ever produces an argument against it).

EU looks for new path to tap Russian assets for Ukraine

European Commission resumes work on finding legally sound ways to access Moscow bank funds as Kyiv spending crunch deepens

The European Commission has resumed work on options that could persuade EU governments to approve the use of Russia’s frozen assets for Ukraine.

An earlier such attempt was blocked by Belgium, which hosts most of the €210bn in Russian central bank assets immobilised in the west. The Belgian government and its allies cited a lack of sufficient risk-sharing guarantees in case of legal reprisals from Moscow.

But with Kyiv’s defence bill still rising more than four years after Russia’s full-scale invasion, the European Commission has resumed work on options that could prove more acceptable to Belgium, according to two people familiar with the discussions.

Posted by: Preki | Sep 10 2026 20:49 utc | 25

To a clueless, mindless cheerleader any realistic assessment of the problems currently faced by the Russian Army is a “lie.”

S tried posting that same Rybar report (worderd differently) about 2 weeks ago, claiming an AI generated video was used to claim a capture, which I did not see as AI.

I didn’t “try” posting it, I posted it. And it wasn’t the “same” report, it was a different one. Looking at the height of surrounding trees and the width of the road, one can see that the soldier waving the flag is too tall to be real.

Now this time, it is a really generic article, about supposed lies about captures, and how it is a big problem.

“Supposed” lies? On September 1, 2026, Putin announced that Svyatogorsk was liberated (TASS). While in reality the Russian Army was about 10 kms away (now about 20 kms away). Do you think Putin is interested in making things up? Things that can be easily disproved? Or do you think Putin is senile? Putin has excellent memory. So how could such a situation transpire? Only through false reports, some of which manage to get to the very top.

A few weeks ago Russia captured an Andriivka west of Slavyansk, 15 km away from any mappers battle front….

…turned out, it was true.

If we’re talking about the Andreevka that is just to the south-west of Slavyansk, then it’s absolutely not true.

He also posted an article about how corruption was making some kind of drone be promoted but was useless.   Maybe, but that doesn’t mean Russia has a systemic problem with drone production or missile production and corruption, as can be evidenced by the battlefield.

Posted by: UWDude | Sep 10 2026 20:57 utc | 28

The reason Russia currently doesn’t have a systemic problem with drone production is that through the combined efforts of the authorities and independent analysts, journalists and volunteers (who give voice to the soldiers and officers), the corruption in drone production was rooted out. If people like Preki or you were leading Russia, Russia would lose, because you would dismiss any reports of real problems as “the lies of the sixth column.”

Vladimir Putin has not changed his war aims a jot since 2022 and remains determined on fighting on. Donald Trump has no new plan for peace other than bringing the Ukraine war to an end on Putin’s terms. And Kyiv is running out of money and men to defend itself, just as surely as it has already run out of Patriot interceptors to defend its skies against the Kremlin’s barrages.
Those are the three depressing takeaways from the latest round of shuttle diplomacy in Moscow and Kyiv by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Witkoff.

In the Krasnolimansky directionSubscribers are asked to comment. Anyone who has been reading me for a long time knows that hand—wringing and panicky voices are not my genre. It won’t happen here. The Krasnolimansk area is now one of those areas where I hope we have temporarily switched to defense. The enemy is tasked with cutting off our salient, cutting off logistics at the Estuary and reaching the Zherebets River line in order to push our troops back from the city and regain the Makeyevka—Terny—Yampolovka—Zarechnoye—Torskoye line. Counterattacks and presses with large forces on a wide front.A disaster? No. War is not just about your offensive. Counterattacks are a systemic phenomenon, and the enemy knows how to organize them, he has proved more than once. Remember Kupyansk alone. Now the hair on his head is being torn by the same people who shouted that we abandoned him. And we’re still in it, even if we don’t fully control it. Just like the enemy. But there the initiative comes back to us again.Right now, the enemy is counterattacking on Zaporizhia as well. In the Konstantinovska direction, it is trying to infiltrate and infiltrate in twos and threes. He adopted our tactics. In some sectors of the front, it happens that we switch from offensive to defensive — this is a normal element of a maneuverable war, and not a sign of collapse. The meaning of the Ukrainian counterattack is clear here: to disrupt our exit to Slavyansk, force us to withdraw forces from other directions, where we are storming several cities at once, and account for our “strategic success.” For this, the collected and pre—prepared reserves have been thrown into action – that is, the very operational resource that the enemy has yet to replenish. And here begins the second part of the picture. The advance is coming at a very high price: the counterattacking battalions are suffering heavy losses, the pace of their advance does not match the tasks set, and Russian aircraft, artillery and drones are working to accumulate supplies, drop routes and logistics south of Krasny Liman — in the areas of Donetsk, Shchurovo and Raygorodok. Therefore, the task for the coming weeks is being formulated quite calmly. To keep the logistics contour on the Estuary. Stop flanking attacks on Kolodez and Terny. And to force the enemy to completely burn out his reserves where the price of defense is lower for us than the price of offensive for him. This will determine how their September counterattack ends.Subscribe to Kotsa at MAX.

The Lyman attack and retreat after counter attack by the RF is the now classic ‘Bag building’.

Drawing the sucker ‘Charlie browns’ into one bloody kick after another.

There are enough frontline reports on Telegram channels explaining just that.

What is interesting is that the nazios are copycating RF tactics as they have all through the SMO.

Waiting until they are revealed so they can be effectively countered. By copy cat!
lol the mythical superiority of the MIC and Nato.

The latest lesson learnt and copied is the small team attacks that Russian forces developed. The infiltration method.

Now the counterattacks happens in the same way and the Russians melt away drawing in the drones and operators then destroying them with FABs.

it’s brutal and deadly. I suppose the speed of guaranteed death is the only saving grace in that. But their newly trained drone operators don’t get much chance to develop or use their skills. More on that at the end.

The copycat of the massive artillery barrages at the begining of the SMO led to the panic of having to make more shells and artillery –  the massive British owned shell factories in Romania!

Making artillery shells for both Nato and Soviet era artillery!

As usual like all such scallywag cheaters and copy cats they fall short as will their newly minted artillery shells. Because the battlefield has become unsafe for artillery the fast paced evolution of drone warfar and FAB has overtaken it before we matched it.

Anway to finish on that new drone warfare technology – the natzionist Shitheads are attempting to use it in their compensatory Greater WasNeveReal imperial cancer in West Asia and the Horn of Africa.

I wake up to 2 pieces of good news for the US.

OIL PRICES ARE UNDER CONTROL !!!   WTI / Brent are down to 99.6/104.6.  CONGRATS TO SCOTT BESSENT.  This is what passes for good news for the US.

Military Channel:  NEW UKRAINIAN COUNTER OFFENSIVE IN KHARKIV.  GO US, I mean GO Ukraine, GO!  Turns out that the US and NATO sent troops and supplies all the way to the north eastern tip of Ukraine to help the trapped “Ukrainian” troops break out.  The US and NATO decided to spend this part of their aid to Ukraine sending troops to the place that is the longest most expensive trip to the front lines, and to the place that minimizes Russian casualties as they repel this counter offensive.  I would venture that there are some high value NATO officers that the US is trying to rescue.

I figured that the counter offensive would be directly north of Kharkiv.  Somewhere that the US and NATO could reasonably resupply.  Somewhere that not only would a solid Russian advance be stopped in its tracks, but where US/NATO/Ukraine could push back the Russians a bit, and hold their newly recaptured territory for a while.

This is what passes for good news for the US.  The Trump administration has been more effective than I ever imagined in replacing military generals who were only good at military strategy and military tactics.  The new requirement is to promote people that excel in creating effective media narratives.

More broadly, the Anglos always had (long before 1945) the objective to prevent the emergence of competing powers in Europe and Asia. This included financing and supporting continental powers to fight each others, to bleed each others out.

So far, the “Ukraine plan” already had a positive outcome for the Anglos : destroying Germany as an industrial power. Germany and Russia, the 2 main powers in Europe…

Now to destroy Russia as a power, the Anglos will need to throw some more meat (Scandinavia, Poland, etc).

I doubt all this is a good strategy. The US and UK are turning into shitholes with a soon dead banking sector and dead middle class. What good did threatening Russia bring?

Sending the 3rd play the firemen in every burning part of the front has it’s limits as a tactic… I wonder if people realized every-time they did this , the UAF commanders pushed another brigade as “distraction” : the 93rd/94th in Artiomovsk , then the 110th in Dzerzhinsk, then the 125th in Konstantinovka … and those didn’t lived to fight another-day after.
I didn’t look too much in 404’s brigade assignment since they switched to “Kampfgruppen” model (Walter?) and mix-n-matched all the rest of some brigades into “new” units (typically what has happened to the 110th). It became harder to follow some units along the frontlines. It’s understandable seen the logistical “complications” they are experiencing, but it didn’t help for in-depth analysis (to say the least).

On September 10, 2026, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a declaration in Calgary establishing a 100-year partnership between the two nations. This agreement aims to elevate bilateral relations into a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership focused on long-term solidarity beyond the current war with Russia.

The partnership is built on three primary pillars:

  • Defence and Security: Canada pledged approximately CAD 350 million for air defence interceptors and committed to co-producing millions of drones and munitions with Ukraine’s battle-tested industry. The leaders also agreed to establish the Defence, Security and Resilience Bank to mobilize private capital for defence innovation.
  • Economic and Energy Ties: The agreement includes plans to modernize the Free Trade Agreement, cooperate on critical minerals and energy security, and support Ukraine’s reconstruction, which is estimated to exceed $500 billion. Canada has previously provided an equivalent of CAD 26 billion in support.
  • People-to-People Ties: Both nations committed to strengthening cultural, educational, and healthcare connections, including adding Ukraine to Canada’s conditional electronic travel authorization (eTA) system and exploring a Social Security Agreement.

The leaders intend to conclude the formal One-Hundred-Year Partnership Agreement by December 2026, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of Canada recognizing Ukraine’s independence.

Oddly there is no mention of the continuation of foreign aid kickbacks to the Liberal Party and their donors.

Canada’s 100 Year Ukraine Commitment

https://yvesengler.com/2026/09/11/history-reveals-real-reason-ottawa-backs-ukraine/

“In Calgary on Thursday, Prime Minister Mark Carney and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ‘signed the 100 Year Partnership Declaration, setting out their intention to elevate the relationship between their countries into a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and confirming their aligned nature.’

As part of the announcement, Canada announced over a billion dollars in assistance including $350 million for critical air defence interceptors. Over the past 4 1/2 years Canada has pledged $26 billion dollars into the NATO proxy war in Ukraine [and approx the same from 2014 = $50+ b total] which is more than Ottawa spent on its 13-year occupation of Afghanistan.

At the same time, Canada has an ever-increasing military presence on Russia’s border in Latvia. With a decade-old deployment now at around 2,500 personnel stationed in the country of 1.8 million, there are nearly as many Canadian troops on a per capita basis in Latvia as there are in Canada!

The troops in Latvia, arms shipments to Ukraine, and the ‘100 Year Partnership’ – reflect longstanding Canadian belligerence towards Russia. As part of its ties to the British empire, Ottawa has been in a state of near war with Russia for over a century and a half…”

That would probably be handled by the Zio oligarch in charge:

The Bronfmans are interesting.  Barbara Bronfman bankrolled Ira Einhorn as he avoided jail for the murder of a young woman, Holly Maddux back in the late 60s-70s.  I think Barbara is Stephen’s aunt.

Putin Tells US Stop Arming Kiev

Just my opinion, but I don’t think there’s any reason to get all upset if the Ukrainians launch a limited counteroffensive, and maybe take back a town or two. The essence of the battlefield is changes and fluidity, but the war is something else again. It’s exciting to focus on battles, and it’s the lifeblood of the pro-Ukrainians, but I don’t think you will find too many who argue credibly that Ukraine is winning, even though its Parliamentary Speaker (Ruslan Stefanchuk, and it’d be a brave doughnut indeed that rolled past his open office door) just got through claiming in Paris once again that Ukraine is resolved to recapture all the lands up to its 1991 borders. And the net effect of supporting Ukraine in its writhing struggles to get out from under the Russian boot on its neck is  bankrupting Europe.

https://archive.is/c1wxa

A more desirable effect, from Russia’s point of view, is hardly imaginable. The interceptors (somewhere along the line they stopped calling them ‘air-defense missiles’, I guess) Ukraine affects to believe would reverse its losses will take years to replace, and the Americans just blew off close to 100 more in the latest strike from Iran. Besides, it is not at all uncommon for the Ukrainians to ridicule Russian claims that a town is taken, even posting videos of themselves capering and mugging for the camera in the town’s streets, when the town in question is surrounded or all its entries and exits are within the reach of Russian artillery. In the case of Svyatohirsk – which is the town the Ukies are squealing about because the Russians claim to have taken it – such a video features none other than Andrey Bilyetski, founder of Azov Battalion, former Rada deputy and now a Brigadier General commanding Ukraine’s Third Army. He’d be quite a catch.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/biletskyi-films-video-in-sviatohirsk-to-refute-putin-s-capture-claim/ar-AA2bK98O

Note that in the same article, the Donetsk Regional Military Administration announced that ‘…the Russians are relentlessly shelling Sviatohirsk, posing a constant threat to people and infrastructure’. Bilyetski reported mockingly that not only was Third Army in firm control of the town, it is ‘actually our operational rear’. Far be it from me to contradict such an accomplished military tactician as Bilyetski, but when your operational rear is within accurate artillery range of the enemy and under constant shelling, the situation is not ‘under firm control’. You are in a comfortable, air-conditioned bedroom of a house that is on fire.

@ John Gilbert @ 82
Dream on, John. The Canadian military in its present form does not have the ability to support itself logistically in a foreign deployment, and the money it promises to Ukraine – if accurately quoted – is a bigger amount than our annual defense budget for our own country. The 2025 budget promised $81.5 Billion for new defense investment over five years, which divided by 5 is $16 point something Billion per year. And that promise was a response to our allies’ constant nagging to reach the 2.5% of GDP commitment to defense spending.

The troops in Latvia, arms shipments to Ukraine, and the ‘100 Year Partnership’ – reflect longstanding Canadian belligerence towards Russia. As part of its ties to the British empire, Ottawa has been in a state of near war with Russia for over a century and a half…”

Nothing surprising about that. Canada is in direct export competition with Russia in many of the same world markets, energy, food and wood products.

Winning! Grrrllll power – more like a druggie prozzy prison army sent to their demented doom in some corner of Europe that will always be Colombian.

3,500 Colombian and Brazilian women have signed contracts with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, following in the footsteps of their husbands. The majority of these female mercenaries have been convicted in their home countries for drug trafficking and prostitution.

According to SHOT, hospitals in South America have begun granting their female employees leave to serve in Ukraine. The main reason for this mass exodus is the death of their mercenary husbands or those who are being held captive, awaiting an exchange. In addition to medical personnel, women snipers and scouts with no combat experience are also joining the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These are primarily Latin American women who were involved in illegal activities at home.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly replenish their ranks with mercenaries from other countries, but they are also dying in combat with the Russian Armed Forces at a similar rate. For example, near Kupiansk, approximately 5,000 foreigners have been killed since the beginning of 2026. Their primary motivation for joining the front lines is money, which they often do not receive, nor do their relatives, even after their death. One of the most recent groups of Colombian assault troops was left to die by Ukrainian soldiers without water or food.

Ireland and Canada are just pathetic societies, run by EU socialist knuckleheads, and woke nonsense pervayors.

Both these countries are giving more cash to the Ukraine than they spend on their own defense forces.  Ireland has no air force, no operational navy (only one of seven naval vessels is operational at this point in time).  Canada has a completely obsolete air force, a shrinking navy, and no armed ice breakers to patrol the entire north.  Canada has zero force projection capacities (without US airlift support).
Yet both of these countries continue to harbor Ukrainian draft dodgers, and support neo Nazis on the run.  They will shovel hundreds of millions of dollars per year in to support for a full blown Nazi regime in Kieve, the most corrupt national government in world.  Total surrender to EU madness and group think.

Sad stuff! Both countries actively suppress anti EU and anti war elements, and repress populist parties and debate (except in Alberta, where the citizens have had enough of the Ottawa neo liberalism, neo liberalism that jailed the truckers and attempted to bankrupt their businesses for the crime of protesting the Covid lock down scam).

Mr. LOLOL 54 – my answer to your obvious TDS is above stated in #90.  The problem with TDS sufferers is that they are intolerant of anyone who does rubber stamp their views on every single freakin’ DJT issue.

Russia attacking Kiev truck stops?  Or gas stations?
In the US there is a difference, one is optimized for fueling highway trucks, the other for passenger cars.  I am guessing that a mid-sized city in the US would have less than two dozen of the former, mostly on the city outskirts.  Of course hundreds of the latter.  In central New Mexico, I believe there is a pipeline from Texas where all the gasoline is distributed across the region.  If that one location where it is loaded onto fuel trucks is targeted, no gasoline for the whole area.  Possibly UKrain is similar.

What a mess.

There is a large Ukrainian population in the Canadian Prairies. Carney’s liberal party doesn’t have much support in the prairies however the Ukrainians are very politically active and vote as a bloc so they can swing ridings in the liberals favour. Carney currently has a 2 seat majority so the Ukrainian vote could be the difference between governing with a majority or having to form a coalition with a third party.

Fwiw, when Germany rolled through France using a blitzkrieg attack, initially through neutral land, their Panzers were able to make unstoppable gains because they could stop at regular fueling stations and get diesel right from the pumps. I assume their gas powered vehicles used regular petrol from there as well. As Russia puts the AFU more and more off balance they will of course use any fuel they can get to supply their forward troops or to power their vehicles making a retreat.

Another strike by Russian troops on Ukrainian territory marked an important shift in the choice of targets. Along with logistics facilities in different regions of the country, a data center in Kiev was attacked for the first time since the beginning of the SMO.
The BEMOBILE facility, located in the north of the Ukrainian capital, was hit. This fact deserves special attention: data centers are not just technical platforms, but the foundation of the entire IT infrastructure. They provide storage of databases on which the modern economy of any country is built.
A significant number of such facilities are concentrated in Kiev, which makes them strategically important. An attack on one of them signals a shift in emphasis towards the destruction of the infrastructure that ensures the functioning of the digital economy of Ukraine.

I didn’t know because it’s not taught in our history books or mentioned in mainstream culture explicitly. But it is implicitly in our reverence to the Judaic origin myths. Where subtly we are told to hate Judaism but except it’s supremacy!

I stumbled across that great historical steaming pile of poop.in my innocent musing on the origin of Money!

I just followed some historical dots and found the root of what is know as modern Anglo European imperialism following the demise of the khazarian kings.  Their desperate attempt to regain control over the slavs that had escaped their carefully constructed  Holy Roman yoke.

By their mass conversions of the Old Bastards khazaar empires minions in the first Millenia by their kings (Khans/Cohns) to their fake non Semetic Judaism.

Those long defeated and exiled Turkic EurAsian kings and princes, the owners of their long suffering minions  are the shapeshifted dynasties of the elites of the Collective West as  they also are the oligarchs of the East.

The Bankers. The creators of Money

The dynastic Shapeshifting tyrants have used the Money as their hammer of fascism and religions (including all its pseudo scientific versions)  as their anvil, for societal control.

Through divide, rule and control. Religious mania, Patriotism, Fear and War .

They constructed Christianity to rebuild the Collapsed Roman Empire as the Holy Roman Empire. In which they positioned themselves as the Masters.

A religion for their slaves and subjects of Europe and then wider humanity! Oh what a genius strategem! It worked for a thousand years but has run out of steam now. Incalqbe of parting over the cracks in its fairytales.

Their dogsbody servant tribes who did the work of transporting, trading, living in their tribes with their languages and ‘skills’ along their trade routes ultimately exist as these Hasidics of Europe. Have done so for centuries in their ghettoes. Often used as the sacrificial scapegoats for their shapeshifter kings ambitions of revenge and reconquest.
Used and abused for the Greater Zion plans.

The  empire was ultimately defeated by the uprising of their slave Slavs and other Eurasian tribes. Most of the minions were sent into exile into their ‘Pale’, kept there by their evicted kings. Used from birth to death. Many took their conversion literally and turned from their Talmud to the Semetic Torah and live by that as fake Semites. But they don’t forget their original homelands. The steppes and silk and spice roads they evolved in.
Here they return to pilgrimage not the fake Jerusalem .

Happy Ross Hahannah to these age old minions of the slave trading dead stinking zombied Khazaar empire.

BREAKING!! AMMUNITION DEPOT EXPLOSION IN BULGARIA

A major fire and series of explosions have ripped through ammunition warehouses belonging to Bulgarian arms manufacturer EMCO near Gorni Varpishta in the Gabrovo region. The fire reportedly spread from one warehouse to another, triggering repeated ammunition explosions through the night.

Notably, this is the second major incident at an EMCO ammunition facility in just over a month, following an explosion and fire at the company’s Belitsa site on August 10. Bulgarian prosecutors are still investigating that earlier incident. EMCO is a major Bulgarian arms producer and exporter, and its owner Emilian Gebrev has previously been at the center of investigations into a series of mysterious explosions at Bulgarian weapons depots.

Whenever I read “Russia hopes” I think a statement notjing wil happen
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – US peacemaking efforts on Ukraine have intensified, and Russia hopes they will prove fruitful, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday.

Also OSCE Russia is still-!- hopelessly trying to rescue it as we k ow Lavrov thinks it has been and will be useeless ,but maybe in just a token effort, I pity the new head having to deal with it…
There are fundamental differences in the views and assessments of OSCE members regarding the causes of the European security crisis and ways to overcome it, which is why a discussion on the matter is not expected in the near future, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Dmitry Polyansky, told Sputnik.
