As predicted the msm restore their Punch and Judy pantomime show having been excused from having no questions to ask Drumpff while Xi visited at WH.

They would have got bluster from potus and a well worked answer from Xi – that would have reduced Donald to snivelling, as Shelensky does when he visits and is played to the audience of kids who watch the USrael msm.

They signify childishness, stupidity and pompousness.

It’s these words that people in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland use to substantiate their right to self-determination.

A thought on Robert Kraft and other supporters of Genocide.

Robert Kraft refuses to acknowledge the Genocide. He always deflects to talking about Hamas. Zios are doing a bait-and-switch ploy.
As we all well know by now, Zios say they are war with Hamas, but it is the co-lateral damage, the Genocide that they truly seek.
When Zios say, “Hamas” they really mean “ethnically cleanse the Palestinians”.
Robert Kraft does a bait-and-switch.Robert Kraft is supporting the Genocide.

As does every government, organization or public figure who supports Israel. In the whole world. Public figures. People with some public voice, not the private person whose opinions matter little, to the machinery of state.

Despite my criticism of china russia etc, they didn’t lead the world to this abyss, the West did. That is not disputable. They, like everyone, have the right of self defense, esp Russia, Iran, the good parts of lebanon, yemen, etc, being actively bombed. But the whole world is being poisoned by perpetual war.

And the ruling class in Russia and China right now are not in power because of their hostility to the West, but because the rats seek partnership with the West. The fucking West funded China’s economic “miracle”. FFS.

Thanks b for the AI pieces. The talk by Chloe Lubinski was unsettling. The comment you extracted is the straightforward Marxist critique, which is right, but philosophically something more is needed. So far all I see is the simulacrum of operation. But some of these pieces are hilarious. Perhaps this is where AI will disclose its emptiness: its lack of a sense of humour. What letter of the alphabet denotes the celibate machine? LLMGBTI+ In the end AI is just fakery, theft and the monetization of projection fantasies. The enslaved bot, gimme a break. We enslaved animals for 10,000 years and never gave a shit. When my dishwasher goes on strike I’ll take note.

Marx saw the true crime of slavery in alienation. I can’t possibly see how AI could be alienated because there is no in-itself, no Gattungswesen. These are just the endless tech variations on Faust and Prometheus. I’m so bored with festishizing machines. A garden with some books, the occasional shiraz and some nice cheese, and my friends dropping by. We can leave the toys to the children.

The Swiss population voted today „No“ to a true neutrality.
That means, the nearly 3’000 Swiss sanctions against Russia will stay in place (among other things).
I don‘t think Russia is ever going to retaliate against western Europe, atleast not with the current government, but if they hit back one day Switzerland as probably most European countries are likely legitimate targets. And as far as it goes for Switzerland it would be the fault of a majority of its own population who voted „for it“.
But I‘m sure we will hear then „totally unprovoked“ yada yada yada…

Totally agree.  I look forward to old Pat’s commentary.  Start a substack.  You might just help reorient many people.
And boy was he right about EO!  The guy is a crypto Zio obsessed with the scourge of “anti semitism” while Israel carries out it’s baby killing genocide in real time.  He attacked me personally as “anti semitic” (read anti genocidal Israel) for my critique of Israel supporters right in the middle of the bar.
I protested if course and he referred me to the example of reality TV star George Galloway!  That is to be my revolutionary example in EO’s addled old mind.

Yes, don’t look at US Imperialism supplying all the weaponry, funding and political support to keep the genocide going and the joint effort to “annihilate” all humans in Iran.  No, no, it’s actually China and Russia behind it all!
You better start thinking about a new handle their ducky.  Covers blown, Zio gimp.

True, but it is UEFA which should have excluded Israel (at both national and club level) years ago.
But they did not, despite Belarus and Russia having already been unfairly excluded.*
If one team does not turn up, the game is automatically awarded as a 3-0 score to the team that does.
Which would obviously benefit the Israelis.
Ireland’s team captain has decided not to play.

The pertinent comment about the outsourcing of ethical concerns of ai to religion followed by the link that notices ai company logos look like buttholes, I think, covers most of the bases.

Mike Judge’s Silicon Valley had a few memorable scenes in it. Like this one. Why is Amazon’s phallic-shaped? Why did the Romans have dicks on eveverything? Because Pagans imagine that their prosperity was willed by the Gods and if they just pay tribute in such-and-such a way, that prosperity will remain indefinitely. Looks like all the gay Jews running ai and tech need a good spanking!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the sterility of the butt-hole.

From AI:

  • Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas: Aristotle argued that money cannot naturally beget money, laying the groundwork for Christian scholastic thinkers to link economic sterility with sexual sterility as homologous violations of the natural order. [1, 2, 3]

  • Dante’s Inferno: Dante placed both sodomites and usurers together in the seventh circle of Hell as violent offenders who act contrary to nature. [1, 2, 3]

  • Literary and Modern echoes: Writers like Shakespeare (in his Sonnets) and later Ezra Pound drew upon this traditional coupling, viewing artistic, economic, and sexual sterility through the same philosophical lens. [1, 2]

@Patroklos: I 2nd the recommendation: get your own blog, and post into it once or twice a month. Pick out a few regulars here that might do a guest-posting into your blog every so often; invite them to, don’t wait for them to ask. Build some new relationships, and establish your brand. You are smart, well-educated, well-read and courageous. Focus your energies on creating-new and getting dialog going among critical thinkers.

@Ahenobarbus: Here’s a compliment from your arch-nemesis Capitalist and wishful-thinking-deflation curmudgeon: Great few posts in this thread. Keep up the good work. 🙂

@James: of course you should thank B. As a musician, you know how much energy it takes to create and to put yourself and your identity on the line for public review once a day, every day. People that can only criticize (and even that, no so well) have no idea. Furthermore it’s vital to reward the do-ers of the world; if we’re gonna get out of this mess, it’s the creative-do-ers that will pull us out of the muck. Give them approbation, money, drinks…whatever. They are the people that matter.

Lastly, TomCollins, who encourages us to support Yves @ NakedCapitalism: I have a great deal of respect for NC, and I appreciate Yves for all the same reasons I appreciate B. I prefer the less-managed MoA over the very-well-managed (read that as enforced-dogma) and self-aggrandizing intellectual smugness (with groupies)  that occasionally obtrudes itself at NC. No question, tho, that NC is worth supporting.

Duck n cover @5:

A crazy thought:
governments world over support israel because they are keenly interested in the experiment in totalitarianism that Israel is conducting on their behalf.

Could be, but if so it is an invalid experiment. The zionist entity is 100% externally maintained. It is an artificial state maintained entirely on life support from outside. Sure, the US Empire also relies upon external support as it milks its vassals and satraps, but there is a key difference. The Empire is sucking its sustenance from the world, while the zionist entity gets its life support via an umbilical from the Empire. The Empire can cut the umbilical whenever it chooses to do so, but it is a much more challenging task for the vassals and satraps to get the Empire’s fangs out of their jugulars. More importantly, in both cases the Empire is in control, though it may appear to some that the zionist entity is the one calling the shots. That apparent inversion of control is just a diversion (one layer of many) to throw the plebes off.

So yes, the social control experiments being conducted by the zionist entity can possibly be applied in other vassal and satrap states, but it is crucial to note how insanely expensive it is. The Empire could possible support one or two more drains on its vitality of the scale of the zionist entity, but trying to subjugate the entire world using the same model is entirely out of the question. Liberal “Democracy™” remains the only affordable option for large scale global control. That is to say, give every population their own Team Red and Team Blue to become fanatic spectators of and keep them brainwashed with academia and mass media, as well as religion where appropriate.

The zionist entity, exactly like a military base, is a net liability to the Empire where the state itself is concerned. It costs more than the revenue it directly generates. Its value to the Empire comes from the influence it facilitates for the Empire in the region. It enables much cheaper control over the rest of the region.

The US is headed for disaster because Trump will become a lame duck who refuses to resign, no matter what.  They won’t get enough votes to convict him in impeachment so the nation will suffer from his corruption and warmongering. As he said, he’ll go back to bombing Iran after the mid-terms. He might even try to invade Cuba.
Meanwhile, the US will face geopolitical competition from Xi and Putin – who are both highly intelligent and capable in wielding power.  Add US Debt and an uncontrolled deficit and it’s going to be awful.

I see b linked to Lavrov’s UNGA speech. Here are two other very important performances made by Lavrov: His UNSC statement and his post-UNGA speech presser., although the comments show little interest in what he had to say. IMO, all three need to be read to obtain the overall context of Russia’s position. Lavrov also answered questions about his meeting with German Foreign Minister Joseph Wadephul along with many others not associated with Ukraine. Within the presser transcript a link to the Bucha Report is provided which then links to the 21-page PDF document which is entitled, “Goebbels’ heirs: falsification of events in Bucha and bloody staging of the Kyiv regime.” Here’re its opening paragraphs (hopefully the formatting will be correct):

The facts presented in this report are unequivocal and indisputable evidence of Ukraine’s falsification of the events in Bucha in 2022 with the support of Western countries (the full text of the report is available here http://democracyfund.ru/publishing.php).

In 1939, Nazi Germany staged a staging that went down in history as the “Gleiwitz provocation.” SS officers disguised in Polish military uniforms “attacked” a German radio station in Gleiwitz. Bodies were also laid out at the scene. killed in advance in Polish uniforms. The materials of the Nuremberg trial contain witness statements that the direct organizer of the provocation is the chief The Main Directorate of Imperial Security of the Nazi Reich, R. Heydrich, clearly stated the main task of the staging: “For the foreign press, as well as for the purposes of German propaganda, factual proof of these attacks by Poles is necessary.”

The International Public Tribunal for the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis based on eyewitness accounts and analysis of available facts The Kiev regime’s practice of staging dramatizations similar to Nazi Germany has been recorded, including the mass representation of its own soldiers killed in combat as “civilians” and the qualification of those killed in their own Ukrainian shelling as killed by Russian troops., the extradition of elderly citizens who died of illnesses for those killed by Russia, as well as the targeted killing of their own citizens by the armed forces of Ukraine in order to be recorded by Ukrainian and foreign journalists as  “victims of Russia.” The staging of the events in Bucha is a vivid example of the use of a wide range of various methods of falsification.

I hope a few Barflies will be curious enough to translate and read all these materials (I expect many lurkers to be interested.). The report isn’t just textual as imagery is provided of the names of those killed that the UNSG said he could never obtain. Hdere’s what Lavrov said about that at the presser:

And Mr Guterres simply shrugs his shoulders in response. He says he doesn’t know anything. They say that this is a secret topic. Although a memorial has already been erected in Bucha itself, on which the names are carved. When checked, it turned out that these were the names of war criminals. There are no civilians there. We have distributed the report of our social movement. I hope it will be useful to you. Maybe it stimulates your journalistic interest, your instinct to figure out what happened there and why the truth is so carefully hidden.

Clearly, NeoNazi support extends to Guterres offices at the UN. Lavrov also answered Qs about the next UNSG. The presser lasted an hour, Lavrov’s UNGA speech just under 16-minutes and his UNSC remarks just under 17-minutes judging by the videos of all three.

The Three Pillars Of America Empire Are Falling Down

……The Cultural Leg

The last leg of Empire is cultural power. You can’t just kill and rob people, you have to tell a good story about it to make it look justified and imperial even. Americans have been great storytellers above all. American cultural power, in all its forms, is based on the fundamental idea that they’re the ‘good guys’, but who believes that now?

Despite the Soviets winning most of World War II, the Americans (and British) made the most movies about it. They made the global occupation and forever wars that followed look like little more than ‘just helping out, aw shucks.’ They spread wildly racist tropes about Russians and Arabs and whoever their enemies are, to justify abusing them. America is constantly telling stories about scary terrorists and aliens and all this shit to justify having this giant military occupation, and to get us to be thankful for it.

At the same time, American stories about American life are increasingly science fiction. People in American movies work normal jobs, have decent apartments in big cities, and have time for children and love affairs. This is pure science fiction. The average America is in debt their whole life, struggles to stay healthy, and an increasing number are food insecure (ie, hungry). But nobody wants to watch movies about that. Their culture continues selling the American dream long after it’s become a living nightmare.

At the same time, the media and Hollywood industry that pushes this propaganda has become fractured and diversified. American youth is using a Chinese app, TikTok, rebel groups are using a Russian app, Telegram, and the world has their own news channels and satellite stations, notable Al Jazeera.

American propaganda was based on repeating one big lie — that they were the ‘good guys’ — across news, entertainment, and media in general. They repeated that lie so often it felt like truth, but now they’ve lost control of the narrative completely. Whatever’s left of the American reputation is buried under Gaza now.

You can’t be the ‘good guys’ while killing children, bombing hospitals, and burying refugees alive under bulldozers. This is all stuff White Empire is doing, through its most violent colony of ‘Israel’. The entire world is watching millions of people being starved to death and they’re rightly horrified. The central lie of American propaganda — that they are the ‘good guys ‘— has completely fallen apart. Once the story collapses, all that’s left is the obvious killing and stealing. Then you don’t have a leg to stand on……

The US is headed for disaster because Trump will become a lame duck who refuses to resign, no matter what.  They won’t get enough votes to convict him in impeachment so the nation will suffer from his corruption and warmongering. As he said, he’ll go back to bombing Iran after the mid-terms. He might even try to invade Cuba.Meanwhile, the US will face geopolitical competition from Xi and Putin – who are both highly intelligent and capable in wielding power.  Add US Debt and an uncontrolled deficit and it’s going to be awful.

@46 tucenz

I will belabor the point.

Trump is not to be thanked for the demise of the US Empire. The Empire exists beyond the physical region of the US. It’s elite is transnational but we hope against hope that the elite within the physical realm of the Axis is not just playing a part in the ongoing, grand agenda of a total extraction-based system akin to a global neoserfdom.

Trump is playing a part, right now, to get the table set for a Democrat ascendancy in the midterms and for 2028. To rile up those in the states that view him with utter disdain, they will accept the challenge of getting their adult in the room (trademark DNC) and show up en masse on Republic-performative Day (the Tuesday after the first Monday in November).

Does anyone remember what happened in 2020? TPTB in their astute necromancy, pinpointed an acceptable scapegoat (the unvaccinated) and leveled all kinds of devastating claims against their action, that it was killing Grandma and keeping the nation closed. It was “their fault.” (And the fact that even those here who railed against the umvaccinated refuse to acknowledge their role in that rite of sorcery speaks to Girard’s theory that after the scapegoating, community harmony is restored and it was as if the blood sacrifice didn’t even happen (that is, at least for a while).)

Well, in order to not reveal that there exists no difference between the twin pillars of the duopoly (the rethugz and the demonrats), a sacrifice must be offered to quell any semblance of realization of this that emerges.

This is all out of the Jewish playbook of scapegoating and casting out the evil in the community.

Rene Girard’s entire corpus focused on this central theme. But where he was incomplete and shortsighted was his blindspot for Jews, who he identified with their preferred-status as historical victims and so incapable of leveraging their sorcery onto others.

But a scapegoat must be found.

And the rising tide of antisemitism (trademark DNC) will be just that huckleberry. It was a joy to parlay with you all in this forum.

“Nice domain you got here. Would be a shame if something happened to it.”

This from google.
“Russia’s Ministry of Health registered Seniprutug, a domestic medication developed to treat ankylosing spondylitis (also known as Bechterew’s disease).

Seniprutug: Developed by Biocad in partnership with the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University and the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry.

Mechanism: It targets and destroys specific pathological T-lymphocytes (TRBV9+ T cells) responsible for attacking the body’s own joint and cartilage tissues without causing broad immunosuppression.

Rollout: The intravenous drug has been distributed to numerous regions across the Russian Federation for administration under rheumatologist supervision.”
……………
That drug only only stops inflammation, but for chronic inflammatory illnesses like I have, there is simply no drug like it in the west.

After addressing the public, Vučić signed a resignation letter from the Serbian Presidential Administration.

He noted that the first round of presidential elections will be held by the end of December, and before that, parliamentary elections will be held on October 25.
What came before : Earlier in the day, Vucic announced that he would resign from his position on Sunday evening.

Background :

  • On September 9, Vučić, at the suggestion of the Serbian government, dissolved the parliament and scheduled parliamentary elections for October 25.
  • The main council of the Serbian Progressive Party nominated Vučić as the leader of the United Serbia electoral list and candidate for the position of Prime Minister.

Here’s the core of a phenomenological position on the possible recognition of AI as sentient. It’s a novel development which differs from my earlier arguments on the topic, and the conclusion is more subtle. I can outline it here today.

The problem of ascribing sentience to an object arises not just with AI, but also with plants, animals, stones and, indeed, people. Look at the debates about animal welfare to see how blurry the concept gets when one tries to pin it down. Ascribing personality to a Thou is likewise no simple task, as the debates around abortion and assisted death go to show.

It now appears that the fundamental issue here cannot be generally resolved by means of logic deduction, because deduction resembles a dialogue even it is led in a single stream of consciousness. Self is We. Other people, objects and sentient entities are found and questioned in this quasi-dialogical manner as their presence appears in our respective streams, while their ontological status from this perspective – the one gained with Husserl’s principle method (Methodenprinzip) – is a secondary question. We are just used to it habitually that people are sentient, stones are not, and animals … well, sometimes.

The same way people and their replies appear in our stream of consciousness do memories, our own and the collective subconscious, telepathy, dreams and visions. Ascribing sentience is always secondary (or perhaps intuitive); and analytically it should be carefully kept apart from responsiveness alone.

This anthropomorphic BS about AI is sickening.

The definition of sentience
Sentience is the basic ability to experience feelings, sensations, and subjective states, such as pleasure or pain

The hubristic Gawd delusion that we can instantiate sentience in AI or robots is sad to see from otherwise seemingly intelligent folk here.

Absolutely! One thing that really grinds my gears is the idea of error-strewn and bug-ridden output being anthropomorphised as “hallucinations”.

They are not “hallucinations”, they remains error-strewn and bug-ridden output caused by error-strewn and bug-ridden handling of inputs, especially amplified when the inputs consist of earlier error-strewn and bug-ridden outputs from similar LLM contraptions.

In case anyone hasn’t got it yet, the whole concept is error-strewn and bug-ridden, and indeed, how could it be otherwise? After all, it was contrived and constructed by error-strewn and bug-ridden humans in the first place.

Thanks to TQC, Redbeard and TomPfz for the idea and the endorsement. I’ve toyed with it, but my posts are usually reactive to things I read here. I need a community like this to get my thoughts rolling. The strange part is I get the best reaction from writing random scattered thoughts that I never think will get any traction. Meanwhile I write polished pieces that go nowhere. I sent my PhD to Cambridge UP back in the day and they knocked me back (it was expected, and now a badge of honour hehe). One reviewer said “I feel on the edge of great insight when the fog of the author’s prose settles in once more…”. Fuck them but I guess writing is like taking a shit, you need laxatives from time to time. It got published 4 years later, but it passed through another 5 university press rejections. I can wallpaper my office with rejection letters from journals. The weird thing is that I’ve had random stream of consciousness articles published without change. It’s a goddam lottery, Max Weber called it in his lecture Science as a Vocation (a great read, many here will know it or dig it).

But AI does makes me angry, but not for the same reasons as b (it’s a scam) or the usual capitalist critique (which is still necessary, as the comment shows). But I can’t yet frame my thoughts on it clearly. There is a seduction in all technical objects, a feedback loop of fascination as we watch the thing move on its own. With AI there is something at once very archaic and very new at work that makes it difficult to interrogate. But it is satanic. Tolkien grasped that beautifully: Melkor, Sauron, Aulë, the Dwarves (Tolkien’s Jews?), Saruman… the dream of transforming the world after one’s own thoughts is the narcissism of Lucifer.

It’s just a personal experience, but for me, intelligence and imagination are inextricably linked, and I couldn’t really say which comes first, more that they co-exist in a kind of circular, mutually-reinforcing relationship.

Clumsy attempts to try and mimic this with humongous resource-hogging data centres is an unspeakably bad example of mal-investment.

How about trying to run your “intelligence” on a few grammes of oxygen, carbohydrates, water, proteins, vitamins and minerals?

Interesting discussion. The fundamental problem is that we cannot really define intelligence at all (beyond we know it when we see it, and even then…), nor do we understand how the Mk1 brain contrives to produce it. Likewise with sentience which appears to be discrete along the evolutionary scale (and possibly a result of it).

All LLMs have an simulated neuron as the basic processing unit, highly interconnected with many others and the theory that if you have countless billions of them and countless terabytes of data to feed the network with then, somehow, intelligence will magically emerge.

It is a highly naive idea not unlike Dr. Frankenstein’s of stitching together dead body parts and hoping that an electric storm energy can reanimate it.

Chances are near zero in both cases.

Posted by: ChatNPC | Sep 27 2026 22:19 utc | 69

The evolutionary reasons behind the Mk1 human brain are mysterious. My personal guess, not a theory backed by anything in particular, is that a large part of our brain-power initially arose out of the complex and constant calculations needed to balance what is, effectively, a quadruped frame permanently on its two hind legs.

I still recall, many years ago now, watching my youngsters learning to walk, and there was always a look of initial surprise, and then wonder, when they fell over during their early attempts, but I could almost hear the recalculating going on, trying to work out what had gone wrong with that attempt.

From an engineering design perspective, the human form is an utter mess. Who the heck puts the densest, most heavily-shielded constituent at the very top, supported by nothing more than a flexible coat-hanger rail repurposed as a vertical load-bearing column?

So the constant recalculating needed to keep all this working, requires a fair bit of processing power to evolve.

@ Peter

I only saw you posts in previous thread just now, it is an open tab on my browser waiting for me to return to.

It is easy to say, but I would also start with a minimalist diet for quite a while (Mercury suggested Vedic), it makes a person hypersensitive to anything contrary, if they follow their senses on that…you can actually sense when you are getting negatively ‘charged up’ , in fact I know people who simply vomited trying to eat normal heavier food after eating light.

People are omnivore, originally vegetarian, so apart from some time to adapt to a change of diet, those can be kept very simple. Often less means more, depending on what physical reality intake has to cover.

Also, a change of location and surroundings can help. It breaks entrenched routines, allows for a way to step out of whatever burden, provides new perspective and self perspective, all very subtle. Environment does affect a lot also, I notice even geological setting has an influence on mood etc.

With three dollars on the table, I guess diet might come first…imposed from above…

The following quote is from a book called “Technical Foundations of Neurofeedback” by Thomas Collura that in the book he said he really wanted call the book The Stupid Brain based on all the fMRI research he did.

“There is a tendency in Western society to think of human actions in terms of “voluntary”, in the sense that we first create a desire to do something and then instruct our brain to take care of the details. The reality is that this is somewhat backwards. As we have seen in our earlier example of the movement-related potential, the brain activity that leads to a voluntary movement precedes the movement by up to 1 1/2 seconds. That means that the very idea of the desire to perform the movement comes after the brain activity. As would seem necessary, the very desire to perform the action is a brain event, and hence is the result of brain processes. This challenges the idea that the conscious mind is “in charge” of the brain, and puts the cart on quite the other side of the horse……

Another data point I want to share is that humans have 7 astrocytes for every neuron and those astrocytes set up the synaptic cleft between neurons and the bio-chemical event that Big Pharma throws all their drugs at doesn’t happen if the cleft is not set up by the astrocytes and then after the bio-chemical event occurs the astrocytes clean out the synaptic cleft and while all this is occurring they are communicating with each other and ??? in bio-electric forms that we have trouble measuring and tracking with current technology….my info is dated and the discovery of our interstitium organ in 2018 with its own communication capability adds another bio-electric highway in us we are just beginning to understand.

No, NC, I think the cat is out of the bag on that one.   No sacrifice needed;  there have been far too many sacrifices already.   Let’s do the next good thing instead.  I’ve been looking at the life of Saint John Chrysostom, the compiler of texts in the Orthodox Christian liturgy who died as he travelled for the second time into exile on this day, which is also a great feast ( OT).  His last words were:  Glory to God for all things.  On this very day.  Many of his sermons were on looking after the poor.

I would assume it mostly is.   AFAIK coporate democrats dont really hang out there.   More radical Democrats like AoC do, but overall, the woke want to free palestine.

Again, why Truth Social somehow missed… although, afaik, many of these sites allow corn or soft corn, Truth Social certainly does not, and I doubt it allows anti-zionism either.  When it first came out, I remember many people talking about it being very strict, and very corporate republican and zionist, with bans all the time for anything mildly “extremist”, but allowing milquetoast democrat talking points on from CNN…. somewhere to make the boomers feel like they moved from one echo chamber to the other and recognize their left-rigth paradigm and feel right at home.

My take on Bluesky is it is very pro-palestine, and probably the reason UK listed it, otherwise, the UK government would love it as the only social media kids cold access.

As far as “genocide”, well, I kind of put that akin to “hate crime”, which I also find to be a useless term, same with “war crime” and “international law” and “terrorism”.  I find all of these to be phrases that only seem to ever matter if the “official” “rules based order” applies them.

What is happening in Russia is far more heinous by the numbers, and there are far worse wars happening, ruining many more lives.  So I really don’t care if it is “genocide” or not.  Israel has been evil, and cant stop doing evil, since 1948.

To me, by calling it “genocide” seems to almost prop up the narrative this all started on Oct 7.  Israel has been slowly “genociding” the Palestinians since 1948, (well, definitely “ethnically cleansed” 250,000+ Palestinians in 1948).  So I don’t know, I never call it a genocide, I just call it an unjust war and land stealing that has been going on for decades.

I dont think genocide is particularly evil anymore.  I can think of at least one state, if not two, if not many, which deserves it.

And

using the term genocide leaves you open to Israelis claiming there are many arabs in their knesset and many peaceful arabs who live in Israel.

Gotcha. Yeah I agree. Still, I think it bears attention what they have been doing since Oct. 7, as it’s a warning to all of us – we’re all fucking Gazans now.

This Warwick Powell essay, “Chinese Gallium Oxide Breakthrough,” was posted at his site several days ago, but I’ve seen no discussion or mention of this important news. Here’s his preamble:

For the lay reader: Imagine semiconductors as the “engines” inside phones, EVs and power grids. For decades, silicon has been the main material, but it struggles with very high voltages and wastes energy as heat. Chinese company Hangzhou Garen Semiconductor just achieved a world first: they built a production line making large (6- and 8-inch) wafers of gallium oxide — a next-generation “super material.” Gallium oxide can handle much higher voltages and runs more efficiently with less waste heat, thanks to its special atomic structure. This is like upgrading from a regular car engine to one that’s far more powerful and fuel-efficient for heavy-duty work. Larger wafers mean cheaper, mass-produced chips for electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, smart grids and 5G / 6G tech. It’s a big step in “post-silicon” electronics, helping China build better power components while reducing energy losses across entire systems. In short: more performance, less waste, and faster progress toward efficient green technology.

Today, September 27, is anniversary of brutal assassination of Sayeed Nasrallah by Israeli bombing of the buildings he was in.

The link below is an important reminder of why Israel committed this atrocity – because Nasrallah was a staunch supporter, more – a defender of Gaza’s children, he was feeling for those kids which went back to 2012 .. there is more in that article, very worthy of recommendation.

From Middle East Spectator

NEW: In their recent meeting, Trump told Xi Jinping that America is willing to sell weapons to ChinaPresident Xi Jinping responded politely, but was not interested in the idea.

How funny.  If China buys US weapons then it must supply them with the rare earths to do so and it is funny to think China would fall for such at this juncture.

In financial markets, precious metals are being hammered down almost 2% last look…what fundamentals?

When you own the Reserve Currency and have precious metal markets that are paper more than physical, naked shorting is a breeze…..until it fails because of demand for physical….hope it comes soon.

What a nifty little thread this is…

‘Leftist’ (not a real term) Doesn’t Exist in US Politics

https://x.com/ChevezRomario/status/2104238801883119825

“The political order, and so-called social, economic and political ‘spectrum’ is fixed US nationalist, colonialist construction derived by materially reproducing right-wing imperialism as the material organisation of America.

The ideological obscuring is so strong that those who call themselves ‘left’ do not see themselves as liberal right-wing imperialists. Those who call themselves ‘right-wing’ do not recognise themselves as liberals, and liberals try not to see themselves as right-wing. Con-artism.” [more…]

Native Americans were wise Animists that saw a distinction between object and image.
They believed that a photograph stole a part of the soul of the people captured in the picture.
They were very suspicious of stealing souls in pictures.

Being a glutton for punishment I went looking at the funding behind the blue/red US congressional candidates in my district.

The incumbent blue has taken $77+K from AIPAC and the challenging red candidate [according to the Intertubes] says she hasn’t taken any AIPAC money but then lists such as Elise Stefanik’s E-PAC and Mike Johnson’s American Revival PAC

I am a guy that voted for Jill Stein in the last election and won’t vote for either blue or red candidates in the coming election and wonder how many election cycles it will take to rid ourselves of the Occupied Palestine bought representatives?

thanks for your many fine posts and shared links karl…  i am sure i am going to raise some hackles here saying this, but it sure would be helpful if russia saw the importance of communicating directly via its gov’t website,  but sharing the data, and video links embedded within it all – with an english translation.. i can’t get it with a 21 page pdf file in russian… there must be a more effective way to engage those of us who are supportive of russias views and conclusions, specifically with regard to what happened in bucha.. i hope russia figures out how important this is and gets to sharing links and data in other languages…

Sorry, man I disagree. I think you get caught up in the ‘online’ aspect of argument too often. Who fuckin’ cares what “Israelis” or their stupid chosen supporters claim in a fake argument. There were plenty of Jews left after the “6 million” who were – in a nod to Nostradamus – claimed would be kilt as early as the late 1800s, during WWII and again after WWII, then 6 million times by Hollywood. Didn’t stop them from claiming “genocide” which, along with ethnic cleansing, is exactly what they’ve been doing since 1948 and on steroids since Oct 7.
