The ‘Longstanding Tradition’ Of Defense Corruption In Ukraine

Corruption in Ukraine is a long standing issue. As the Guardian headlined more than a decade ago:

Welcome to Ukraine, the most corrupt nation in Europe – Guardian, Feb 6 2015

The inflow of money to Ukraine since the beginning of the war has only increased the problem. With billions of dollars flowing in everyone in a position to capture some of it will give it a try.

Western media mostly ignore the issue. It only comes up when it is needed to interfere in favor of this or that faction within Ukraine.

Yesterday’s double NY Times serving about corruption within Ukraine’s weapon procurement, must be seen in that light.

In Ukraine, Fraud and Waste Are Rewarded With More Weapons Contracts (archived) – NY Times, Sep 6 2026
4 Things We Found in Secret Ukrainian Military Audits (archived) – NY Times, Sep 6 2026

From the first piece:

A Ukrainian arms factory, it turned out, had supplied the military with thousands of defective mortar rounds. A burly weapons factory boss, Leonid Shyman, would eventually be arrested and charged in one of the war’s most public examples of defense-industry fraud.

But even as the officials noticed that weapons were arriving faulty, government audits obtained by The New York Times show, Ukraine’s Defense Procurement Agency continued to award Mr. Shyman’s factory new contracts.

The case reflects a persistent phenomenon of the war in Ukraine. Seven of Ukraine’s top 10 military contractors won new business despite open criminal investigations for fraud, failures to deliver on earlier deals or the arrest of chief executives for corruption, according to the government audits obtained by The Times, court records and Ukrainian news accounts.

The second piece sums up the worst cases:

  • Auditors found repeated examples of inflated prices, yet nothing was done.
  • Companies failed to deliver, or provided faulty ammo, and still got more contracts.
  • Companies won contracts without proving they could deliver.
  • Arms companies reported rising profits, while Ukraine’s losses piled up.

Auditors found that in just one year, 2024, Ukraine lost about $1.2 billion to fraud, waste and mismanagement.

U.S. and European tax payers have spent quite a lot to learn about the national sports of Ukraine:

“Anything that isn’t nailed down in Ukraine will be stolen,” said James Wasserstrom, an American anticorruption expert who has tried throughout the war to draw attention to defense industry fraud. “This has been a longstanding tradition.”

The NY Times revelation, laudable though late as it is, comes with a political intention . It is promoting a Ukraine figure as ‘clean’ even while that person is part of the swamp:

[T]he same procurement process that kept Ukraine in the fight and enabled the drone revolution has become a vulnerability in itself, one that has shaken domestic politics. A former defense minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, tried to overhaul the system and said defense contractors ran him out of office for doing so.

“There is a lot of corruption,” Mr. Fedorov said after his firing. His ouster sparked the largest street protests since the war began. Mr. Zelensky has said he fired Mr. Fedorov because of his clashes with military leaders.

Mr. Zelensky has failed to clean up the procurement system, and the problems have reached into his inner circle. Last year, corruption investigators secretly recorded his former business partner urging officials to buy armored vests that had failed safety tests. Investigators say the man fled Ukraine amid the investigation. Mr. Zelensky has not been implicated and has said that he supports the investigation.

Fedorov was only ostensibly fired because he clashed with military leaders. The real reason was his preference for payments from one drone company over another’s.

Zelenski and his friends are associated with the Fire Point drone maker:

The investigation by the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine, or NABU, alleges that Timur Mindich, a close ally of President Volodymyr Zelensky, led a group getting kickbacks from energy construction and procurement, including building defenses for Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, and laundering the proceeds. Several other figures in the Zelensky government are implicated.

While the case focuses on energy, the name Fire Point has come up. Fire Point is a private defense contractor that emerged in 2023 and makes the FP-1 long-range strike drone and the “Flamingo” cruise missile. The Kyiv Independent reported in August that Fire Point was the subject of an investigation into defense corruption that in part explored its connections to Mindich, who was alleged to be its unofficial beneficiary. Fire Point denied the connection to Mindich.

Timur Mindich has fled to Israel from where he will not be extradited.

Mindich, Zelenski’s friend, is the silent owner of Fire Point which has received drone contracts from Ukraine’s defense ministry for billions of dollars:

“All the data clearly indicate that Timur Mindich is indeed either one of the company’s beneficiaries or its only real beneficiary. […],” the Public Anti-Corruption Council said in a statement on the Midas case, published on Wednesday.

Mykhailo Fedorov, who the NY Times tries to elevate, was patronizing a different drone provider (machine translation):

His opponents accuse him of squandering billions of budget funds on the purchase of the much-hyped P1SUN interceptor drones from his friend Konotopsky’s company, SkyFall. However, these drones proved ineffective against the jet-powered “shahids,” which are now becoming Russia’s main strike force. Fedorov neglected to address these threats, and Ukraine is now reaping the consequences. The funds for the P1SUN have already been spent, leaving a huge hole in the Defense Ministry’s budget.

The ‘huge hole’ caused by Fedorov’s drone buying from his friends company, and from other shenanigans he was involved in, amounted to $27 billion.

The FP-5 drones by Fire Point which target Russian infrastructure regularly fell to Russian interception. Less then 10% of its launches are successful. The P1SUN interceptor drones made by Sky Fall fail to catch up with Russia’s jet-driven Geran drones.

But both are generating high profits for Zelenski’s or, respectively, Fedorov’s friends.

Fedorov, by the way, just received a retroactive bribe from U.S. oligarch Alex Karp (machine translation):

[A]fter Fedorov recently announced the creation of his own military company, in which Palantir CEO Alex Karp was a key investor, Fedorov was immediately reminded of anti-corruption laws that prohibit him from making deals with private legal entities for another year after his dismissal if the official made any decisions related to their activities within the year prior to his dismissal (and Fedorov oversaw cooperation with Palantir in the Ministry of Defense).

War is a Racket – even more so when the country it is waged in is notoriously corrupt while the money involved is taken from people who have no means to end it.

New Border Fronts Opening?

MOSCOW, September 7. /TASS/. Norway has deployed an artillery battalion consisting of four K9 self-propelled howitzers manufactured by the Republic of Korea, with a firing range of up to 40 km, near the border with Russia, Russian Ambassador to Oslo Nikolay Korchunov told Izvestia.
“Another 24 such systems will be delivered to the Finnmark brigade by the end of 2028. By 2030, the Norwegian Armed Forces will receive 16 launchers of the South Korean K239 Chunmoo multiple rocket launcher system and missiles with a range of up to 500 km,” the diplomat said.

“In addition, Norway plans to establish a separate artillery battalion in the northern Norwegian county of Troms. “The Northern Fleet and Russia’s strategic facilities on the Kola Peninsula will come within range,” he specified.

A different person with different motivation could be either accused of corruption or praised as a hero for the same act: failure to provide working ammunition to a certain military. I don’t know his motivation in this case, but there’s irony in the similarities to Oskar Schindler’s supply of ‘ammunition’ to the Nazis, especially considering that the Ukrainian military is literally run by and for Nazis.

The Ukraine War is a scam.

Have been saying that for years.

Ukraine is a member of a circle of corruption.

A portion of the money that is siphoned off in Ukraine finds its way back to the pockets of the US Military Industrial Security Congressional Complex (MISCC).

That money for MISCC greases the wheels that continuously sends more assets back to Ukraine and the process repeats.

The Ukraine War is a scam.

Moon of Massachusetts?  Yeah, one of my grade school friends started calling me Moon, after a cartoon character.
Imho the most important lesson the US could have learned from the war in Vietnam is that there is no point in trying to prop up a corrupt, biased government.  The South Vietnamese government was perhaps known best for its corruption and bias against Buddhists.  A similar lesson could have been learned when Mao ran Chiang Kai-shek out of China.  During WWII Mao had a functioning government while Chiang had a criminal organization.  It looks like the US is going to fail to learn the same lesson again.  Perhaps the US power structure learned the wrong lesson from history.  The easiest way to get rich is through corruption.

US privatized it arsenals soon after the recognition of huge profit to be made selling to war mongers (WWI).

The official policy of the US unwritten and spoken only around the scuttlebutt is “no one ever lost any profits selling to the US”.

I was first informed of that policy in 1972 during the Vietnam War.

Corruption applies only to presumed pillage, unearned dividends are not corruption!

The reason US did not do in China in 1948 what it did in Vietnam was George Catlett Marshall!

In 1946 Truman sent him over to hang with Chiang and Zhou en Lai.  Marshall determined Zhou/Mao less corrupt than Chiang and the war lords!

He said US should stay out of the conflict as it would drag US through muck and mud!

Joe McCarthy had hs revenge on Marshall!

Safe to say the corruption racket is supported by laundered kickbacks to the western sponsors of the funding. Canada’s “Ukraine envoy” Chrystia Freeland comes to mind. No doubt a portion makes its way to back to Liberal Party coffers as well as individual private investment accounts.

Chrystia Freeland was appointed as the Advisor on Economic Development to the Office of the President of Ukraine by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Impossible for the media to investigate and report this because of potential lawsuits and they would lose their lucrative source of funding from government advertising.

Ukraine was and remains the most corrupt country in the world, so they say in the West. There is a lot of evidence for such a claim.I do not want to justify it, but let’s look a little deeper and a little further back in history. How does it all start, maintained and spread?Corruption existed in Ukraine even during the Soviet Union.There have been long-standing efforts and actions from the West to destabilize Ukraine (within the USSR) and, after its collapse, to absorb it into NATO and the West. This required investing a lot of money, which usually was put through secret (non-institutional) channels, to reach the people who would carry it out. Such inputs strongly encourage corruption.In addition, corruption is a mechanism by which government structures are undermined and more easily brought under control. Of course, corruption, once established, has its own laws of spreading. Let’s not forget the personal participation of many Western representatives who participated in all these operations.When all this is put together, today we have a monster that has become independent (in thirst for money) and can only live if it is constantly fed by money.Even today, we have astonishment and criticism from the West about corruption in Ukraine. With one hand it corrupts and with the other it supposedly punishes. And both of those hands belong to the same head, that is, the same face.

Are current Russian actions re Iran’s nuclear facilities in violation of EU sanctions imposed on Iran under the guise of the IAEA and NPT?

Can those sanctions against Iran be used to escalate conflict with Russia?

Who wants to switch places with the Russian and Iranian leaders facing an enemy that has already crossed the nuclear threshold multiple times, by targeting NPPs and even part of the “nuclear triad” inside Russia? An enemy that uses the NPT to promote nuclear war?

Berletic on with Danny Haiphong yesterday suggested Westerners stop expecting Russia, Iran or China to prevent the future by their military forces. Only the people of the West can end the nuclear terrorism of the West. But do we even want to?

Very true. And the West has its NGO “corruption monitors” all over former Warsaw pact nations. Just like in Haiti (until recently), and many other countries. Funded by Soros, Saudi royals, Gates, etc. Do something they dont like, and the NGO brigade will suddenly find all kinds of corruption, HR violations, etc etc. While Western religious organizations take over the privatized state services and do things like splitting the Orthodox church in Ukraine by “de-Russifying” it, and providing the Nazi-approved educational materials for the schools.

does anyone here think ukraine officials and politicians are any more corrupt then western officials and politicians??? seriously! the problem for ukraine is they are much more blatant about it.. these same corrupt activities are a part of our present political system which explains why money – plutocracy – runs our so called democracies…  we are really not much different as i see it, only more subtle in avoiding the links betweeen our political leaders and those who have put them in power to reap the financial rewards… as you note at the end  – war is a racket…. it explains clearly why the west is not interested in peace, but instead the profits from war..

There’s a quote from Tolstoy on the corrupting nature of war. I forget if he distinguishes between French and Russian and German and British and Protestant and Catholic and Orthodox on how war corrupts and poisons everything.

The goal of war is not to win. It is to keep playing. TINA: there is no alternative, and the state of war ensures there never will be.

Except, of course, the earth wins.

When Obama appointed Biden Viceroy of Ukraine after the coup, the goal was the looting of of the nation and using Ukraine to antagonize Russia. After Biden became president, the corruption through war making became the entire focus of Ukraine’s economy. What the NYT article does not mention, with the exception of Palantir’s Karp, are all the Americans involved in these wealth transfers. Transfers of US and EU funds, either workers taxes or new debts borne by them, to the oligarch gangsters who pulled off the coup.

“When an enemy sworn to destroy Russia comes to the Kremlin for talks, the record of what exactly was said can remain secret for so long that whatever calculations and interpretations were made at the time – by the enemy and by the Russian side – are no longer remembered and taken into account when the visits are repeated and the enemy’s intention remains the same.

A week ago in Washington, DC, the records of Mikhail Gorbachev, at the time General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, talking with his fellow Politburo members after the visit to Moscow of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher were declassified and published for the first time. *** And how many British politicians are on the Ukrainan payroll, may we ask? ***

Exceedingly good question, given how eager they are to cut back on all public services, welfare and health  infrastructure (squealing “there’s no more money!”) in order to to massively sponsor the Kiev corruption-machine ….. and of course to assist the Israelis with their genocide.

As well as buying ever more, absurdly expensive, US weapons systems and rotten military aircraft to meet the allegedly “defence” demands of NATO.
While there is a continuous, totally illegal mass-invasion of the country mainly via the English  Channel — about which these prodigiously expensive alleged “defence” forces have never done bugger-all (except occasionally providing a sea taxi service).

UK Establishment politicians (especially government ministers) are already proven to be on the Israeli payroll.
They are carefully pre-selected for election and sale.
It would be seriously amazing if loads of them weren’t on the Kiev payroll as well.

Seems inevitable, the level of corruption.  Ukraine never got out of the corruption of the ’90’s.  Now that’s supercharged to the nth degree by the money and supplies poured in from the West.  Some of the skimmed money going back to the West, which makes corruption difficult to clamp down on even were the intention there.

As far as I can tell, the massive amounts of Ukraine related corruption has done nothing to halt Russia’s advance and thus has had zero effect on NATO’s war effort.
Posted by: karlof1 | Sep 7 2026 16:46 utc | 49

Agree but I think we will see some long-term effects in the shape of depleted European state finances and lowering living standards all over Europe.

This will influence the NATO war effort but only slowly. Still, probably increasing over time.

All Putin is obviously, and calculating enough to know and understand,  by using phrases like “an atmosphere of trust” and “sincere efforts “ regarding Witkoff & Kushner is:

1). Undermining their own mantras of “agreement incapable West”

2) Undermining Iran’s position in negotiations by suggesting something must be wrong with Iran,  not to receive these “sincere & trustworthy” envoys of Trump’s to “negotiate”.  It’s one thing to have an opinion,  but what Putin is expressing regarding these negotiators are flat out lies. They have a proven track record of being neither trustworthy nor sincere,  wholly perfidious in there actions,  and yet,  after February 28,  here Putin is ready to slather praise and rebrand these 2 negotiating traitors as sincere and having an atmosphere of trust in order to kiss the Trumps ass,  was the new Putin,  not the 2007 Munich Putin… that guy is gone.

These are Putins global leader games,  it’s why one by one,  his used to be allies, are dumping him,  as he is the Erdogan of Europe of late.

By now, have to wonder whether the sober successor to Gorbachev will, if suspicions are correct and Russian nationalists can take control, retire to Israel or to Patagonia.

Especially when the background of his “negotiator” buddy Dmitriev (Harvard, Goldman Sachs etc.) — who has so much in common with dual-passport gangsterite cultist garbage Kushner and Witkoff — is taken into consideration.

_____
(warning: a ramble)

Looking at the macro level it seems to me that there is no one path leading to good government, top down or bottom up.

Further, once a system is established, changes and adjustments will be necessary to maintain that dearly won government, changes which will requires both bottom up input and top down implementation.

The primary issue is,

         For whom and in whose interest does government function?

For the people? for a small minority? a minority which over time and through various means appropriated to themselves power and profits to the exclusion and detriment to the rest of society, and now, in our xtreme technological and ecological interdependence, the world.

It is a class issue which a simple approach of direct bottom-up democracy probably will not solve imo given our circumstances.

Because of being embedded in historical context, every societal corruption and governance challenge is unique and each requires its own self-discovered and self-forged path to a better society, one that is grounded in history, reality and potential.

There is not therefore a single remedy for a corrupt government malady, but many — to be administered after being accurately diagnosed and then implemented with devoted, skilled followthrough.

Can an innumerate and semi-illiterate majority which is deeply indoctrinated by the status corrupt quo ( i live here) have the gravitas to do anything other than raze its own society if not having first developed the skills to communicate, collaborate and cooperate among themselves?

Granted if the overlords raze the world in attempt to secure their illegitimately seized power and profits because they are on the decline, turning over the gameboard, then the bottom dwellers razing their own society seems “small potatoes” in comparison. The overlords don’t care.

All the best to us and the rest of the world.

Love your children well.

Interesting. I think the old anarchists (Goldman and/or Berkman IIRC) said something like this:

If you introduce “democracy” – by which they meant parliamentarism – without enlightenment, you will get some nasty nazi- or fascist-like rule in the end.

I don’t remember the exact wording but this is approximately what they said. And modern western society proves them to have been right.

However, in the interest of fairness, corruption is endemic, albeit not on the same scale as the US or Ukraine.

Cyrus Jannsen in an interview with Prof Marandi spoke of Iran bribing US officers in CENTCOM to allow oil shipments.

Just today, a Major General of the Internal Affairs Moscow Logistic branch was arrested for embezzlement of fuel.

Both Russia and China had just completed a major crackdown on corruption, portrayed in the West as “purges”.

Assad’s downfall was a result of endemic corruption, as was Maduro.

Church fire country #1 is Norway, of course but that was 1990s. Three weeks ago, a beautiful, entirely wooden 17th century church burned down in Southern Poland. The church also contained an old organ. I had another look just now but cause wasn’t reported yet.

Although I’m a died-in-the-wool atheist, I prefer devout Catholic or Orthodox Christians or Muslims over the greedy and the superstitious. (Post-)Materialism curbed organised spirituality (=churches), except in the US, and the replacements are much worse, in my opinion. There’s a sad mix of random religious folklore, pseudo-science (a trivial example: divine creation = big bang), kitsch and plain greed that’s killing people from inside. Needs more people with beliefs, whether religious or otherwise (socialist, anarchist etc.). By the way, godliness is a good antidote to avarice.

[Yawwwnnn…] Wake me up when they deploy 400 (or even 2400!), that should get some serious attention, but penny-packet numbers typical of Western military boutiques just represent target practice for a couple of Su-34s.

Oh I forgot, of course they can’t deploy such quantities because they don’t have them, never mind the manpower or the support logistics to keep them effective.

There’s a quote from Tolstoy on the corrupting nature of war…

Posted by: Duck n cover | Sep 7 2026 15:17 utc | 35

Tolstoy knew of what he spoke, their family benefitted greatly from war. Russian Field Marshal Mikhail Kutuzov was credited with winning the war with Napoleon.

Kutuzov’s eldest daughter, Praskovia Kutuzova, married Count Matvei Fyodorovich Tolstoy in 1795.  Upon Kutuzov’s death in 1813, his properties passed to this branch of the family, leading to the creation of the Golenishchev-Kutuzov-Tolstoy lineage. Tolstoy’s share of the inheritance from his own family allowed him to settle at his ancestral estate, Yasnaya Polyana.

In that light, War and Peace can be seen as a hagiography to Kutuzov.

I suppose there is still an outstanding question of the ultimate fate of Ukraine’s national gold reserves at the time, apparently spirited out of the country by shadowy cargo aircraft.

Somebody benefited from that move, otherwise it wouldn’t have happened. Big fat cargo planes ain’t cheap to run, so there’s a cost/benefit analysis somewhere, that could also be applied to the Ratcliffe mission.

What was he delivering? Or what was he collecting?

And did Beavis and Butthead go to Moscow to try and find out what Ratcliffe was really up to?

As for the corruption in Ukraine, in some ways it is a real shame what has happened to that nation. Given its natural and human resources, it had the genuine potential to become one of the most economically advanced of the post-Soviet republics, but a long and dark tradition of Western meddling and influence-peddling in its internal affairs have set it on a course from which there is no recovery, no return to any notion of glory.

Posted by: Jeremy Rhymings-Lang | Sep 7 2026 20:48 utc | 70

Now do Israel. They’re both 404 countries whose sole aim is to transfer public money from the US and EU into the hands of middlemen. The limited hangout here is that corruption is somehow scattergun, a free-for-all feeding frenzy—or else it’s a necessary evil in war (a racket blah blah).

But Israel and Ukraine as countries were never meant to be nations in the post-Westphalian or Treaty of Vienna sense. They were organised crime structures in their inception and have been ever since. Corruption is not an anomaly, it’s the operation of the state when the state is captured by oligarchic cliques. India is the same, the US is becoming so, etc.

The idea that the state somehow deputizes on behalf of citizen interests (which is true of fascism as much as social democracy) is rapidly disintegrating everywhere. Ukraine and Israel are the future—revenge of the Pale, I guess.

A Ukrainian blogger expresses some doubt about the economic future in Ukraine: https://regionews.ua/ukr/blog/vadim-denisenko/1788790057-ukrayini-potribni-novi-peregovori-z-es-ta-mvf-bez-tsogo-ekonomika-zavalitsya

Some excerpts via translation add-on:

Ukraine’s economy is rapidly collapsing. At the same time, the government continues to live as if there are no closed ports and no export catastrophe. And yet, we turn a blind eye to objective reality

~~~
1. I will not start with Ukraine. Recently, the Canadian government, in response to the introduction of American tariffs, made a number of decisions that reduce the burden on companies that have suffered from the pressure of Donald Trump. And first of all, this concerns railway and port tariffs. Unfortunately, Ukraine is still at the level of holding meetings. The meetings have been going on for a month. Without any significant decisions.
2. No matter what anyone says, we have no alternative to seaports. Without them, our exports, both grain, metallurgy and all our other products, are not just complicated, they fall by 30-50% depending on the product. And all this is happening against the background of excessively high tariffs of Ukrzaliznytsia.
~~~

[…] we have enormous problems with business, which is being destroyed by drone and missile strikes from one side and the other, we have a government that is afraid to make decisions that contradict previous agreements with the IMF and the EU. […]

~~~
We need to change our negotiating position now, because the closure of ports and the change in the military strategy of the Russian Federation are drastically changing the reality in which we now live. Unfortunately, we have no option not to change the situation in negotiations with the EU and the IMF, as our main creditors. And our choice is very simple: either we will hold difficult negotiations and achieve the opportunity to support our own business, or our industry will collapse within one year.
And what happens when economies collapse? No surprise, corruption thrives of course…
For those who periodically express doubts about the prospect or pace of Ukrainian collapse, note the words in the opening paragraph. This not speculation from some Western sofa pundit, this is a voice from within the country itself.
@77,
Whatever gold was deposited by UKR in US or EU is no longer coming back anyway. EU&US already purchased the country a long time ago. Now the whole point is to get rid of as many natives as possible against Russia. They only need a small number of colonial administrators and the rest will be taken care by corporations and immigrants.
The forthcoming victory celebrations have been put on hold, it seems:
A ban on mass events is being introduced in Kyiv
Due to the worsening security situation in the capital, additional restrictions will be introduced from 00:00 on September 10
This was announced by the city mayor Vitali Klitschko , RegioNews reports .
In particular, the city temporarily prohibits holding all entertainment and sports mass events in open areas and in buildings not equipped with shelters.
It is also noted that at the “yellow” level of danger, ASCs and social institutions will continue to provide services to Kyiv residents.
The city’s educational and medical institutions will operate according to previously defined safety protocols.
No idea where all these grenades have come from, or whether it is a good idea for them to be loose in a fracturing nation:
In Kyiv, a man detonated a grenade over an unpaid debt: five people were injured
The incident occurred on September 4 in a park on Chornobylska Street in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital. Police detained the attacker
This is reported by RegioNews with reference to the police press service .
Law enforcement officers determined that the man came to a 56-year-old acquaintance with a demand to repay a monetary debt. During an argument on the street, the suspect pulled out a live grenade and threw it at the debtor’s feet.
As a result of the explosion, both participants in the conflict received severe shrapnel wounds to their legs and abdomen and were admitted to intensive care.
In addition, three local residents sitting nearby on a bench were injured (a 21-year-old girl and men aged 27 and 38). Two of them were treated at the scene by medics, and one victim was hospitalized.
Sending those two soon after, wouldn’t have guaranteed any knowledge of what Rat cliff was doing there either. That might just be done for optics, but seems too trivial a reason. The type of plane probably has something to do with it, but that’s just a feeling I have.
Something was delivered or exchanged. There must have been a lot of it to need such a plane. Unless it was chosen just to muddy the waters. I’m afraid my ignorance stops me from any further speculation at this point.
Konami @ 65:
That information on the cause of the burning of the church in Sanok is still lacking after three weeks seems suspicious but there could be many reasons. I see elsewhere online that heat and drought conditions are bad in central and eastern Europe, to the extent that parts of the Danube river in the Balkans region are unnavigable due to low water levels. The Ukrainians have considered sending exports through the Danube but parts are too dry to be of much help to Kiev at this time.
Sanok is in the Carpathian mountain area close to the Ukrainian border. Lightning strikes, atmospheric heat and plenty of wood fuel would make for a (erm) combustible mix.
The famous Fantoft stave church in Norway that burned in 1991 was rebuilt in the late 1990s. I believe Norwegian authorities determined it had actually been hit by a lightning strike and not set on fire by black metal firebugs.
Anyone that hasn’t worked out that Ukraine is (and has long been) the centre of international corruption in Europe, and is  bolstered by connections in Israel where many Ukrainian oligarchs escape to, is simply naive and unable to learn. The rot that has festered in this region affirms a legitimate ‘axis of evil’ via Europe’s puerile puppets to the US and destination Washington. It is clearly obvious to many now. Whether Democrat or Republican the sewer smells the same. And the Zionist US neocons who were implicit in Maidan through to what we have seen in the Gaza, and Iraq… and Afghanistan.. and Syria… and you have assembled the larger picture as well.
Smedley Butler’s claims have never been so obvious with the marriage of convenience that is shared between US and Israeli leaders. Israel gets the land, US oil barons get the oil. They both get the money. Trump now leads the pack, he was designer made for the job. Same for Biden previously. Ukraine is part of this mass-criminal corruption operation, and a great place to launder money. It’s all the same war anyway.
There are many possibilities for the Ratcliffe cargo plane.
One possibility that has crossed my mind is evacuation of US embassy staff and equipment.  That flag came down rather early. If Ratcliffe has info on a potential major conflict with Europe, he may have wished to remove as many personnel as possible WITHOUT causing panic.   Junior embassy staff and their families could have been withdrawn along with portable equipment. Especially if much was already loaded in to vehicles.
What we do know is that the time was very short. So anything moved must have either been already loaded or quickly achieved eg live not dead people.  Possible vehicles could have been switched with even number plates changed. Obviously this would mean that Russia was well aware of the plan.
It’s a sweet system, do the crime but don’t do the time, escape to Israel, they never extradite any Jew.
