British Authorities Mess Up Another Scare Mongering Scheme

Today the British authorities seemed to have run one of their usual scams to keep the population in line of the official scare mongering narratives. This was a bit unusual as the target of this operation was not Russia, but Iran.

Five men arrested over RAF ‘terror bomb plot’ are all British nationals from London and aged in their 20s – as Iran ‘categorically rejects’ involvement – Daily Mail

—
From the first Daily Mail story:

Police were alerted by chance after a farmer living in the nearby village of Whelford noticed three vans blocking a quiet country road surrounding the base as she drove home from a party in the early hours.

Confused, she turned her car around. As she did so, she saw ‘Middle Eastern–looking’ men in balaclavas and hooded tops scattering into the trees and across the fields towards the base.

The quick–thinking hero accelerated away and called the police at 12.45am, before messaging her local WhatsApp group, warning people to lock their doors.

Police were on the scene within 15 minutes, arresting the five men minutes later.

According to authorities this was a ‘major incident’ which even required a ‘Cobra meeting’ at the highest government level.

But the time references given are suspicious.

As someone pointed out:

Something about the RAF Fairford timeline deserves serious scrutiny.

At 23:18 on Saturday, World Source News reported that the Pentagon had intelligence pointing to a threat at Fairford and that security had been raised to its highest level.

Less than two hours later, at around 00:45, police received the 999 call from a local resident reporting suspicious vans.

Yet UK police say the operation was not intelligence-led.
Then Trump said: “We had them under investigation… we had them under view for a long time.”

So which is it?

What did US intelligence know, and when did it know it?
That’s a question worth answering before anyone confidently tells us the full story.

The tweet referred to:

World Source News @Worldsource24 – 23:18 BST(UST+1) · Sep 26, 2026

The Pentagon has obtained reliable intelligence pointing to a threat at RAF Fairford in England.
Over the past few days security at the site has been raised to the highest level.

Meanwhile the five men, which turned out to be British, in their 20s and from London, were released on bail.

I am not sure what to make of this nonsense.

I’m pretty sure these guys were just normal protesters who were going to storm the field and do some minor protest about the base being used to support another US illegal bombing campaign.  But welcome to “democracy” in the liberal west, where you’re a terrorist if you complain about government policy.

Imo the whole thing screams FF. Suspects released on bail? Base police never answered the call but locals did?  No pictures of the suspects other than grainy pictures of who look like they could be off duty soliders?  Not even names released. Played out like a scooby doo episode

Attempted false flag, now aborted. I think I called it yesterday.
The white londoners arrested likely military or intelligence personnel.  They’ll find some way to cover that in court, if the fiasco even gets that much further scrutiny.  Novichok 2.0.  if you still trust official London, get your head examined.
Meanwhile, the market is hemorrhaging once again on Trump’s persistence to satisfy his masters in Israel by continuing the debacle in Iran, the 40T debt service, etc, etc.
It used to concern me, but it’s getting to the point that I sort of enjoy this retarded Zio Imperialist doubling down.  Each time now there is a hard market reaction.  It seems the Zio ability to manipulate the market reaction has reached an objective limit.

I hadn’t thought of that.  I mean wouldn’t they put that all over the media, if it were true?  Why wouldn’t they broadcast that to justify a further crackdown on speech and association?

Too many parties here who would benefit from the scare. Although most would want to keep clean hands. It might even be local protest groups. However the messages being discussed here are not really contradicting. The interception of the vans not being “intelligence led” indicates only that the action was only taken after a citizen alert. As for Trump, his worlds have little weight overall so why interpret them now? That there was a more overall threat level is not strange as if this would lack specifics, they would not start raiding all villages or evacuate the area in response. It doesn’t have to conflict with a specific reports about vans, which still needed to be able to approach the base. And how would they do that anyway? Maybe the drivers were unsure as well. Lots of entrances seemed to have been blocked off in a rushed kind of way already (with heavy vehicles).Of course any threat of a possible attack is just as usable as something exploding somewhere. Success is not needed. But even for Iranian plotting, this draws just more attention to the fact that Iran has been bombed again and again from this base. And it serves still more than one political strategy that way. In other words: nearly everyone wanted something like this to happen. And so it happened?

Thanks b, your points are well taken. I wondered myself about the strapping physiques of the guys sitting half naked; clearly they’re not your run-of-the-mill Londoners. And then released on bail? As the Scots say, yeah right. My take would be the usual one where this sort of thing is concerned: bollocks until proven otherwise.

Posted by: pasha | Sep 28 2026 16:53 utc | 7

Kind of curious: is it SOP to release terrorism suspects on bail within hours of their “capture” and to not identify them by name?

Someone either got cold feet (possible false flag, inline with other “security” incidents that randomly keeps popping up in Europe) or some kids thought they could get away with painting those aircraft.

Second thought: some sort of exercise to test the base security that unfortunately went awry when an overzealous member of the public spotted something going on and reported it, to the general embarrassment and confusion. Usual scrambling to cover asses and conceal red faces by concocting some twaddle from Empire Central.

Posted by: Guest77 | Sep 28 2026 17:08 utc | 14

the government announced that they had no workable explosives and then released everyone on bail within 24 hours.  So the court obviously didn’t believe they were a threat,  so I’m leaning towards a protest group that was going to unfurl some sort of banner or spray paint an embarrassing message on the airstrip.  As long as they weren’t going to damage government property the courts couldn’t realistically hold them for anything other than maybe trespassing (but since they were arrested outside of the airbase they probably couldn’t be held even for that).  Assuming they were protesters they will probably come forward to the media in another 2-3 days after getting legal advice.
A possible false flag, yeah, maybe that could be a possibility, it would be even more embarrassing if the British SS are so incompetent that they cant even conduct a false flag on their own territory without screwing up.

It would be interesting to know how much notice the public takes of all the bollocks from the media and the political class. As far as I am informed, the five men were stirred friends of Major Paul Wilks¹, who wanted to build an impromptu memorial² for their dear friend Paul ‘Shaken’ Wilks. Some days ago he drove along a gaily ukrainian avenue on his customary e-scooter, model 007,  crooning “Alway look on the brute side of war…”, when the ghost of a russian POW – killed by torture in violation of the Geneva Convention – appeared suddenly before Wilks and caused him to fall. Contrary to Wilks’ role model James Bond, he creased his uniform, broke his neck and in the process of dying lost control of bowels and bladder.

How about diesel oil thieves?

Posted by: Rob | Sep 28 2026 18:29 utc | 47

My sources (Twitter) say this was something to do with a simple attempted theft of red diesel fuel. Police say no explosives found. Empty fuel cans found. Suspects released on bail, not harmless. No evidence for anything else at this stage.

In topsy turvy UK the government follow the MSM, not the other way round

Posted by: Ben McDonnell | Sep 28 2026 18:33 utc | 49

To add to my posts on the week in review:

There’s a huge glut of red diesel, gasoil and kerosene on the farms due to the hot summer, the easy, early harvest and the lack of requirement for grain drying.

These London guys in their van with all the drums and independent fuel supply signage were probably receiving some of this fuel from local farmers/wide boys for a fraction of the pump price and transporting it back to London.

It’s not actually the trading of the fuel itself that is against the law. Just using it for road use.

That’s assuming the fuel was legitimately obtained or not. That’s probably what the covert nature would point to.

Posted by: reddiesel | Sep 28 2026 18:37 utc | 50

The men would not have been bailed if they were

  • Protesters
  • selling fuel illegally
  • saboteurs

Which leaves state operatives as the only clue.

If these guys’ photos and identities are not plastered all over the UK rags, then we will know for sure.

Oh my!

Posted by: tobias cole | Sep 28 2026 19:40 utc | 69

I’m going with the ‘dodgy diesel” theories on this; mind you, it must have put the wind up the perps to suddenly find themselves the centrepiece of a full-on “counter-terrorism” response.

It could even be the start of an unwelcome trend for the British state enforcement authorities. Consider, it is perfectly plausible that the farmer’s wife very own farm had recently been subject to a theft of diesel/heating oil, and the report of this theft got the usual bureaucratic brush-off from the police, “Sorry to hear that, we’ll send someone round to take a report when we have someone available. Meanwhile here’s your crime number, please quote this in all future communications.”

So she sees something that looks a bit moody, but in the light of her experience with conventional police reporting channels decides to hoist the “terrorists” storm cones, embellishing matters with reports of being able to discern “Middle Eastern” appearance in the dark of the rural night whilst they are allegedly wearing balaclavas.

In a nutshell, the response of the average Brit to something generally suspicious is going to be to report it as “terrorism” because ordinary crime reporting channels don’t respond. After all, we have been brow-beaten for years about “See something, say something. Terrorism is everywhere. (Oh, by the way, sorry about the rest of the rising crime rate.)”

And then we end up with a complete dilution of the credibility of the “Terrorism” threat.

My thought when I heard five British nationals was “probably some group of leftists coaxed into doing something illegal”, but them being bailed out kind of dissuades me from that idea. Leftists don’t get bail, they stay in prison as a threat to “national security” while reactionaries are given free rein to start fires in minority neighborhoods.

Posted by: fnord | Sep 28 2026 19:47 utc | 72

There are 3 reasons why they’d be let out on bail, that I can think of:

1. The UK police is genuinely retarded.

2. There were no explosives found and the entire incident was blown out of proportion or misinterpreted.

3. They are British operatives that were supposed to carry out a false-flag attack but failed due to their own incompetence and alerts by the public.

Notice how all the men are military aged, physically well-trained (they all clearly work out), and clean shaven? Consistent with a military squad.

Think about this for a second.

What’s the chance that a rag-tag group of ‘terrorists’ are all military aged men, clean shaven, and physically fit?

‘The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.

Re: Jeremy Rhymings-Lan @70,
In a nutshell, the response of the average Brit to something generally suspicious is going to be to report it as “terrorism” because ordinary crime reporting channels don’t respond. After all, we have been brow-beaten for years about “See something, say something. Terrorism is everywhere. (Oh, by the way, sorry about the rest of the rising crime rate.)”
I never considered that possibility, I love it!

It was a Mossad operation, after Netanyahu’s genocidal rant at the UN Friday past this was planned to raise sympathy for the genocidal Zionist state and further the crazy Invasion plan of Iran .

At this point in Israel’s live streamed baby killing genocide, the entire Israeli government could be tortured to death and there still would be no popular sympathy for that horrid country.
They need to get the memo: don’t waste your energy, everyone will always despise you except your bought and paid for servants and other death cult members.

Very unusual for any unidentified suspects arrested as part of a suspected “bomb plot” or “terror plot” to be released so quickly, particularly after POTUS makes public assertions that the suspects had been long under surveillance and were “looking to do big damage.”

Something appears to have gone off-script.

“I am not sure what to make of this nonsense.”
I act on the assumption that anything reported by the British press and most US outlets as well is fake news.  Probably gay as well.

*** Confused, she turned her car around. As she did so, she saw ‘Middle Eastern–looking’ men in balaclavas and hooded tops scattering into the trees and across the fields towards the base. So they had balaclavas. Over their faces presumably .It didn’t say  beanies! How could she have determined  that she was looking at middle Eastern looking men? ***

Cynic @ 84:

I do wonder: if the farmer had her car lights on high beam, in the middle of the night, could she have seen if the men scampering about and wearing nought between their waists and their knees were circumcised?

Maybe if her name happened to be Alison McCourt, she really can tell?

Well to me it seems as feasible as anything else posted here. I really can’t take seriously the idea that any “terrorists” would be messing about with white vans and oil drums in the middle of a rural Gloucestershire night.

And amateur hour goes on and on…

Still, let them ponce about with “counter-terrorism” mobilisations, sooner or later the Treasury will cast a beady eye on the expenditure for such nonsense. At the risk of going off-topic, not too many understand that the real push for some kind of settlement in the Six Counties was the Treasury’s discovery in the early 1990s that the “security operations” were costing a then £1 billion per annum.

..So she sees something that looks a bit moody, but in the light of her experience with conventional police reporting channels decides to hoist the “terrorists” storm cones, embellishing matters with reports of being able to discern “Middle Eastern” appearance in the dark of the rural night whilst they are allegedly wearing balaclavas.

Regarding bail, well of course they will be bailed, because diesel duty evasion is not something the counter-terrorism squads are meant to enforce, that is supposed to be the work of HM Revenue & Customs, possibly with the involvement of the Serious Fraud Office.

So the current scrambled narrative is entirely aimed at covering up various government departmental embarrassments and internecine turf wars.

Posted by: Jeremy Rhymings-Lang | Sep 28 2026 21:10 utc | 92

was obvious attempt to divert from the disastrous news cycle of Xi laying down the law.

I guess the worse case scenario is they had some major ‘fence break’ planned and a gunfight and dead bodies inside. With a bucha kind of dead bodies to layout and oh yeah some Iranian passport on some terrorist who also died:.. all beyond the scope of British local police investigation.

There are obviously some ‘bones to bury’ from battlefields and where better than the SF boys saved the world! And Europe must unite!!

lol – released on bail! What a debacle. Heads must roll!

especially Drumpffty dumptys new bestie BurntHam.

The only times I have seen reports of supposed terrorists released so quickly is when they have been of the Dancing delivery van variety. When there been some ‘incident’.

I’m about 50km south-west of Fairford and there was widespread cloud cover across the sky here. Of course it might not have spread that far.

Looked fishy from the start: lots of identical media exposure clips and no feedback allowed. And improbable scenario with innuendo attached. Then Trump turned up claiming he knew them all and praised Scotland Yard or whoever collaboration!  If that wasn’t enough those arrested were then released on bail although lots of people couldn’t go back to their homes. Come on. Send the deep state back for retraining and give us a break.

Oh I like that alterantive. The apocryphal story of a local reporting burglars in his garden shed and being told there was no police available to respond. Then telling the operator that he’ll just have to get his shotgun and deal with them himself.

Followed by a police helicopter and several armed jam sarnies turning up and bagging the burglars and attempting to bag the victim for his fire arm.

He told them he didn’t own one and didn’t believe in guns.

They said he said he had a gun.

He said the operator said there was no police available !
