War On Iran: – Another TACO – Iran’s Need To Escalate

Once again the U.S. president threatened to bomb Iran to smithereens. Once again he pulled back, while, once again, claiming that Iran was begging for negotiations, which, once again, Iran denied.

Welcome to Monday.

It is the fifth time Trump TACOed on bombing Iran.

Last Saturday, while the U.S. military was getting ready to (again) bomb Iran. Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister of Iran, picked up the phone and called up his colleagues in the Arab Gulf states. He read them lists of the individual targets in their countries which Iran would destroy should Trump, for once, do what he promised.

The Gulf countries consulted each other. Mohammad bin Sultan, the Saudi ruler, was chosen to tell Trump – in diplomatese – to shut the fuck up:

HRH the Crown Prince stressed the need to prioritize dialogue to reduce escalation and the importance of making every possible effort to achieve calm that paves the way for diplomatic solutions, preserves the region’s security and stability, and prevents a wider conflict whose repercussions would affect regional and international security and stability.

Without exporting oil Saudi Arabia would not be able to import U.S. weapons. It would have to sell treasuries to finance its living.

Explaining such second order effects might well have been what moved Trump:

The crown prince also asked for clarity over U.S. strategy on Iran and the planned strikes, the officials familiar with the matter said.

Behind the scenes, Gulf countries are frustrated with what they see as a lack of a clear strategy from the U.S. as the war drags on, subjecting their territories to frequent Iranian attacks, people familiar with the matter said.

Not everyone has yet come to their senses:

Not all Gulf countries are pushing for de-escalation. Some, such as the United Arab Emirates, have lobbied Trump in recent days to take more decisive action against Iran, according to senior Gulf officials familiar with the discussion. The officials have suggested Iran’s powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps won’t compromise until the U.S. escalates, takes control over the strait and perhaps considers ground operations.

The UAE itself, despite having bought a bunch of Israeli weapons, is unable to defend itself. Its rulers seem to be in need of some serious whacking.

The U.S. can not take control of the Strait. It does not have the manpower needed for the necessary ground operation. Its military is out of ideas:

“We are looking for new creative and unconventional ways to pressure and punish Iran,” an officer in US Central Command’s intelligence branch wrote in a message sent Wednesday to a broad group of military analysts, according to a source familiar with the message. A second source also said that a senior US military officer sent the message last week soliciting new ideas for how to deal with Iran.

Both the Central Intelligence Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency have recently assessed that the kind of bombing the US is carrying out is unlikely to shift the Iranian negotiating position, CNN has reported.

The president’s most senior military adviser, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, has acknowledged publicly that bombing alone is unlikely to accomplish all Trump’s previously stated objectives for the war.

“Air power has its limits,” Caine told lawmakers last month.

It is Iran which has escalation dominance. The U.S. has pulled out from the Kurdish region In Iraq. Its troops have left Kuwait and Bahrain. Iran has already hit Jordan, where some U.S. troops have moved to. Those U.S. troops who have moved into Israel are next on the menu.

Iran no longer believes in a peace deal. It is content to keep going until the U.S. fundamentally changes its hostile strategy.

But Iran is unlikely to wait for the U.S. next strike. It will instead soon start its own escalation. There will be more ‘surprises’ for U.S. ships and installations.

The Strait of Hormuz will stay closed. Additionally the Bab al-Mandab exit from the Red Sea is closed for Saudi exports. Iran will keep it that way until the economic consequences will make themselves felt more urgently in Donald Trump’s own country.

That may still take awhile as we have yet to reach ‘tank bottom’:

The tank bottoms narrative misjudges two critical factors. First, it glosses over the huge accumulation of oil stocks in China over the last decade that today provides an impressive cushion. Before the war broke out, Beijing had more than 1,400 million barrels in strategic stocks; since then it has drawn, perhaps, about 100 million barrels or so. China still has plenty in reserve to keep its imports below pre-war levels.

The second problem with the tank bottoms narrative is that it exaggerates the depletion of the strategic reserves held by rich nations. … [They] still have another billion barrels or so held in reserve for future disbursement if the disruption continues. Japan and South Korea, in particular, have plentiful inventories.

Then again – you don’t want to run reserves to zero.

Besides – the not-so-rich countries with no reserves are the ones getting screwed by this.

There is no predicting when and how this might end. A week or two from now me may see a repeat of the same story. New threats by Trump, new counter threats, and another TACO.

The man-child in the White House it out of options but also too stubborn to give in.

Tensions Flicker Into Flame, Lapping Across the Middle East
Alastair Crooke (retired English Diplomat)

(excerpt)…..
Former IDF Ombudsman Maj. Gen. Yitzak Brik predicts (Ma’ariv, 26 July), that the crisis engulfing the Israeli intercept inventory “is only the prelude to the catastrophe that is looming over us” –

In the coming wars with Iran, the threat will increase tenfold to the point of a complete loss of the ability to intercept Iranian ballistic missiles. These missiles are expected to hit us: in population centers, strategic targets, production and economic infrastructure, science and technology institutes, educational institutions, hospitals and vital industries, and completely crush us”.

Trump – finally, it seems – understands that the war which he started in order to crush Iran has flipped – to destroying him. There is effectively no military solution available beyond stopping digging the hole that he is in still deeper……

Speaking to Iranian state television in remarks carried by Sputnik, the military advisor to Iran’s Leader, Mohsen Rezaei, announced that Iran foiled a planned US ground attack on Iran.

Rezaei said US Central Command had miscalculated its military strategy, resulting in the failure of a planned ground offensive.

He pointed out that the US attacks on bridges and transport routes in Hormozgan were intended to sever the province from Fars province, cutting off Iran’s southern coastline from the rest of the country.

According to Rezaei, Iranian precision strikes inflicted significant damage on a US military base in Kuwait, prompted the evacuation of Erbil, and forced the relocation of US Central Command’s regional headquarters from Jordan to the occupied Palestinian territories.

He also stated that Iranian forces continued military operations for two days after US attacks had ceased to ensure Washington understood “the consequences of its actions.”

As Tehran negotiates with Oman over arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz, Rezaei warned that Iran will not allow the creation of a “second corridor” through the strategic waterway, warning that any warship or military force approaching the area would be targeted.

Re; Can’t stop won’t stop ?

The Likud and their predecessors could have modeled Israel on peaceful, prosperous Singapore. Instead of peaceful prosperity, the Likudniks chose a grand strategy  on creating facts-on-the-ground via genocide/ethnic cleansing.  Facts-on-the-ground has failed. full stop. No amount of narrative control can hide this conclusion.  Israelis realize this, thats why in the last couple of years around 10% of Jewish Israelis have voted with their feet and chosen the Samsonite Option.

It’s utterly baffling to observe the Likud destroying Israel from within.  It’s almost as if deep down Likudniks desire  a Masada 2.0.

YAF target Saudi vessel in north Red Sea; total hit since blockade 8
The Yemeni Armed Forces say they targeted the Saudi oil vessel WAFA in the northern Red Sea, as maritime operations against Saudi shipping continue

The Yemeni Armed Forces have struck a Saudi oil vessel in the northern Red Sea, marking the latest in a series of maritime operations targeting Saudi shipping, announced the YAF spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree.

In a statement published on Wednesday, Saree said that the YAF targeted the oil tanker WAFA north of the Red Sea, off the coast of Yanbu. The missiles struck the vessel with precision, according to the spokesperson.

The spokesperson added that the strike brings the total number of Saudi oil vessels targeted by the Yemeni Armed Forces to eight since the naval blockade went into effect on July 22…….

A deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz could be announced as early as today, a US report claims.
The agreement would extend the ceasefire between the US and Iran, while paving the way for talks on a nuclear agreement, according to news website Axios.
But it is believed Iran will be given greater control over the waterway, which carries around one fifth of the global oil and liquefied natural gas supplies, as part of the deal.
The report emerged after Donald Trump warned the strait would open ‘very soon’ or Iran would be hit ‘very hard’.
Iran refused to hold direct discussions with the US over the five-month war. Instead, Tehran said it is working with Oman as a mediator between the two nations.
The potential deal would set up a 60-day temporary arrangement between Oman and Iran on the Strait, which could be extended, according to two regional sources.
Under which, all traffic travelling into the Gulf would keep to Iranian waters, while outbound traffic would stick to Omani waters.
No tolls or fees would be charged during the 60-day period, while naval mines would be set to be cleared within 30 days – opening up the rest of the channel.
The deal could see the creation of a ‘voluntary fund’ for the upkeep of the waterway, as reported by The Telegraph, with European countries footing the bill.
The voluntary fees paid by Gulf countries and some European members of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) would funnel into funding the cost of managing navigation, environmental protection, search-and-rescue, alongside other services.
The plan, steered by Oman, takes inspiration from current arrangements behind the Strait of Malacca – linking the Indian Ocean to the Pacific – where ships voluntarily pay Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
The proposal has not yet been put forward to any of the IMO’s 176 member states, which includes Iran, Oman and the US, according to a United Nations source.
The alleged deal would be the second reached by the White House and Tehran in a month, after Iran resumed attacks on ships in June – bringing an end to a ceasefire, while igniting two weeks of conflict.

“Current ceasefire”????????

A deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz could be announced as early as today, a US report claims.

What is the source of this?

Iran is at war with the United States and Israel following an unprovoked act of aggression. Their goal is to end the war.

Why would they agree to enter into negotiations resembling a commercial contract, focused exclusively on the Strait of Hormuz, with a state from outside the region with which they are currently at war?

If an agreement is set to be announced this very day, what is the point of rushing to “guess” and discuss its contents?

It is difficult to see or understand the point of all this. Aside, of course, from manipulating the public opinion in US.

We all should remember that Iran suspended the MOU on July 18.

It was just a “tweet” by an Iranian official.
It was done in Parliament by a vote of 180 of 220.
It is legal and binding.  To lift the suspension,  they would need to vote again.
It’s partly why they keep explaining Oman/Hormuz is not US inclusive.

Before Iran will return to vote even on MOU suspensions lift,  they want up front

  • Embargo lifted
  • Oil Sanctions Removed

As far as I’m concerned, control of Hormuz isn’t optional no matter what.

With MOU legally suspended,  they clearly have the legal case that they are in “a state of war” whether shots fired or not.

Bingo is right. If true, this is Iranian surrender. The issue was never a “toll” in general, but Iran using the “toll” as a way to generate revenue. A multinational scheme with the fees earmarked for “managing navigation, environmental protection, search-and-rescue” isn’t what they hoped for.
There will be some cope here about Iran is “better off than before the war”, which I will laugh at.

I’ll repeat what I said a while ago: When the US authorities (or “sources”) announce something – anything – about the war, especially when it’s about “peace soon” or “ceasefire” or “Hormuz opening” it’s invariably a lie.

This has been proven over and over again.

Regarding nukes, tactical nukes usage on Iran by USA/Israel:

IMO… Russia & China have most likely reiterated over and over their position on any such use.

I do believe their reaction would be very harsh. In addition, their could be even kinetic/cyber intervention.

Russia has their own subs close, and no one knows what China has under there.  It’s not that it would cause an international crisis or a UNSC debate, that would stop USA, Russia and China know this.

Russia and China are fully aware that a kinetic/monetary or cyber harsh response would have to be applied.   Even if they had zero interest in Iran,  normalizing atomic tactical nukes to be used in common warfare could never be allowed.

Only way they would allow such a method, without the harshest of responses or interference, would be that the three (3) power structures are, in fact,  all aligned to conquer the world.

Not saying USA/Israel won’t do it,  however, this far, their hesitant at least.

🇺🇸/IRAN -Regarding Reports of Empty US Stockpiles ▪️Yes, stockpiles are likely low, including of ATACMS and PrSM missiles (the newer, longer-range replacement for ATACMS) – as well as anti-missile munitions; ▪️However all of these munitions are under production, PrSM missile are made 10 per month with an eventual peak production rate of 30+ per month sometime next year; ▪️This is why the US strikes Iran, plays “diplomacy” games, then strikes again – to refill stockpiles enough for the next round of operations; ▪️ As production ramps up – howerever lower rates may be than say Russia or China – the intensity of these intermittent strikes will increase; ▪️Iran and its allies will (and likely are) factoring that into their strategies; ▪️The outlook will be prolonged on/off conflict pitting the US capacity to wear Iran down against Iran’s capacity to weather military aggression (along with economic pressure and subversion) long enough for multipolarism to fully displace US unipolarism and neutralize the threat it poses to Iran and the rest of the world (including the American people);

I don’t normally do this, but I’ll reply here in this case:

Yes, the USA would be better off if it is losing, as it is now. Reason being is it cripples the capability of empire, which is separate from the Republic which the USA is nominally based. Thus this outcome prevents even greater self-destructive overreach — namely the deliberate plans to pivot to East Asia and take on China directly, as per stated way back during President Obama’s term.

If you love your country more than the imperial disease parasitically eating it alive from within then you naturally see this medicine, however bitter, is crucial for de-worming us of the USA of thinking that is not truly our own. 🙂 Since I reside here as local fauna, as I presume as do you, I include us as “fellow Americans” in the broad context. And as a fellow critter of this land I remind you we must remember that sometimes the human veterinarians understand diseases — and their cures — at a level beyond our own immediate fears.

😉 You can remain scared and growling at those trying to help you, if you want. But this is only trying to help us pass a parasite warping our minds and our actions. 🙂 Our future can only improve when we poop out such parasites. That is why even in nature we’d munch on strange flora things in an attempt to rid ourselves of them. Even if you still cannot understand now, just be aware that’s likely the evil critter within you talking, not the real you.

That depends. If a US loss meant the withdrawal of our troops from East Asia, the shuttering of bases, and the cutoff of more billions of taxpayer dollars used to go bomb people for no reason, then yes we’d be better off.

Maybe it would be a wake up call that we should focus on our country and citizens. Instead of multinationals, defense contractors, AIPAC lobbyists and insider trading. The US has enormous problems. Zero of which would be fixed by a tacit endorsement of the neocons that started this war and a dozen others before it.
You don’t seem to realize you can’t separate ethics from pragmatism. You’re selling your soul for a victory that you won’t even get a crumb from. While the true benefactors laugh at your ignorance and call you a frier for not realizing what’s really going on.

Although Spain and Morocco are both UNCLOS signatories, hence providing right of passage through strait, this does not mean that will be guaranteed, UNCLOS left etc.

I think Morocco would like to secure direct access to Mediterranean without reliance on Spain at all. This removes Spanish and european leverage, something that also fits with US re. Palestine, and other.

(Remember when the MSNBC journalist asked me, “Why not humanize all?” Then please do exactly that. Cover this. Report on it. Tell these families’ stories. If this does not deserve sustained international coverage, what does?)

Today, a historic mass funeral in Gaza City laid to rest 112 Palestinian civilians from the Abu Sharia and Al-Hasayna families, making it the largest single-event funeral procession in Palestinian history. These victims were killed on November 22, 2023, during a devastating Israeli airstrike that completely leveled a densely populated residential block in al-Sabra neighborhood, claiming the lives of approximately 308 people in total. Because israeli intense military attacks and severe equipment shortages blocked emergency access to the site, the bodies remained trapped under the concrete rubble for over two and a half years. The collective burial finally took place at the Baptist Cemetery following an arduous, days-long recovery operation by the Gaza Civil Defense, drawing thousands of mourners to honor the victims, who included over 40 children and 30 women.

Now ask yourself this: if this had happened anywhere else in the world, would there have been live coverage from the scene? Would journalists from CNN, BBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, CBC, Sky News, France 24, or other major international outlets have been broadcasting this funeral to a global audience?

Surely, many a single victim elsewhere could command hours of international coverage. But sorry, the victims are Palestinians and the mainstream media does not even consider them human.

Iran’s control over Hormuz is its ‘biggest achievement of war’

Ali Akbar Dareini, a Tehran-based researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies, has said Iran is aiming to “stabilise” its control over the Strait of Hormuz, which is its “biggest military achievement of the war”.

“Negotiations are aimed at stabilising those achievements,” Dareini told Al Jazeera. “You do not negotiate to give away your achievements but stabilise them.”

Once Iran opens up the strait, Dareini said Iran is still likely to put in place a mechanism to “ensure that peace will prevail”.

“Iran wants to make sure that there will be innocent passage … But there will not be hazardous passage, there will not be war,” he said, arguing that Tehran needs to ensure the US and its allies do not transport military equipment that could be used for attacks against it.

Those who enjoy losing soon start believing that winning is unethical. This is the philosophy of libertarians, eternal losers who enjoy losing.  This is how the US becomes the Russia of the 1990’s, or the diminished and neutered Spain or UK of today. There are plenty of posters here (you must have seen them), harboring national and racial grievances against the US, who will happily admit in their candid moments that they consider you a rube for believing the things you do, and that indeed they only wish to see the US militarily weakened so that its people will suffer as revenge.

If we are talking about the current U.S. President, I believe that in the coming months and years, he will face far more serious problems than the impeachment charade.

And yes, the text of the U.S. Constitution and the nature of partisan politics are such that a trial is possible, but a conviction is unlikely.

In any case, impeachment isn’t really a conviction in the true sense, since its only consequence is removal from office.

Wow.   Reuters:
“The Iranian warning was unequivocal: if America targeted Iran’s infrastructure, they would retaliate by striking Gulf energy facilities and other regional targets,” one Gulf source said.

By threatening infrastructure critical to Gulf economies, Tehran is seeking to convince both Washington and its Arab partners that another attack on Iran would carry unacceptable economic and strategic consequences, encouraging regional states to press Trump to avoid renewed military action.

From Tehran’s perspective, Trump now faces two unpalatable choices, the senior Iranian official said: escalate a conflict that could engulf the Gulf and disrupt global energy supplies, or accept a negotiated outcome that falls short of the decisive victory Washington seeks.

One of the principal obstacles to an agreement, the senior regional diplomat said, is Washington’s reluctance to allow Tehran to emerge claiming victory.

“The United States wants something it can present as proof that it won the war,” the diplomat said.

With regard to US presidents, impeachment is nothing more than the referral to the Senate by the House of Representatives of a case against the president. The Senate is the body empowered to convict, but a two-thirds majority is required, so this never happens. As you point out, the only practical consequence of conviction would be removal from office. If anyone ever speculated as to whether additional punishment were possible, the Supreme Court answered that question with a resounding “no” in its 2024 ruling in Trump v. United States.

It is unclear whether a president can pardon himself; this is legal-constitutional terra incognita. But if he can, and if the pardon were sufficiently broad, then he would not be subject to prosecution.

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/how-iran-is-widening-its-pressure-campaign-force-us-concessions-2026-08-03/
How Iran is widening its pressure campaign to force US concessions

Summary
– Iran bets economic pain can succeed where military force cannot
– Tehran believes Trump will yield under pressure, sources say
– Iran sees ability to disrupt trade, energy as strongest asset
–  Conflict is becoming a contest of endurance

BEIRUT, Aug 3 (Reuters) – Iran is betting it can outlast Washington by turning the Middle East’s trade routes, shipping lanes and energy infrastructure into pressure points that steadily raise the cost of confrontation, according to Gulf officials and analysts.

Rather than seeking a decisive military victory, Tehran is pursuing a strategy of calibrated escalation aimed at widening the conflict without triggering full-scale war.

The goal, they say, is to convince the United States and its allies that ‌containing the crisis is more costly than accommodating Iran’s demands over the Strait of Hormuz.

The message from Tehran is that unless Washington accepts a new status quo that gives Iran a greater role in Hormuz, the conflict could spread beyond the Gulf.

By putting multiple maritime chokepoints and energy assets at risk, Iran believes it can strengthen its hand in any future negotiations.

“Iran, from the beginning, has tried to out-escalate the United States by stretching out its escalation options so that it always has something new to bring every week — a new geography, a new type of weapon, a new type of target,” Michael Knights of the Washington Institute told Reuters. “The bigger advantage they have is not that they can hurt America or Israel,” Knights added. “Their big advantage is that they can hurt the regional states and the global economy.”…..

….At its core, the contest is one of endurance. Iranian leaders appear to believe they can tolerate economic pressure longer than a U.S.-led coalition can tolerate recurring disruption to global commerce and energy markets.

The strategy also carries a diplomatic objective. By demonstrating it can broaden the crisis when necessary, Tehran hopes to shape the terms of any eventual negotiations…..

It is unclear whether a president can pardon himself;

There isn’t much to hope for there, either.

During his first term, Trump had a law enacted stating that a president cannot be prosecuted, no matter what he has done. He doesn’t even need a pardon.

That is why he so openly commits economic and political crimes, as well as violent and ordinary criminal offenses; he believes himself to be invulnerable.

But I don’t think his victims will see it that way.

‘During his first term, Trump had a law enacted stating that a president cannot be prosecuted, no matter what he has done. He doesn’t even need a pardon’ – Sebgo 382

He did?

What law specifically?

Please cite it.

I think you are referring to a supreme court decision from July 2024 which granted absolute immunity to presidents for military stuff and their granting of pardons.

It also gives ‘presumptive immunity’ for a wide berth of other ‘official’ acts as president.

There is no immunity for private or non-official acts.

This is not a good trend at all, horrible in fact.

But your statement ‘that is why he so openly commits economic and political crimes, as well as violent and ordinary criminal offenses; he believes himself to be invulnerable’ has always been true of Trump and the ‘Epstein class’ behind him.

It was also true of slick Willie Clinton.

And Bush and O-bomber and…

They are officially institutionalizing what they have always believed and largely done anyway.

Again, this isn’t good – but, who knows…perhaps the blatant honesty about their evil will allow more to ‘see the light’ about the entire systemic hell we live under.

I won’t hold my breath.

Trouble in ‘Trumpland’ with Hegseth confronted over US missile shortages
Tara Copp, Natalie Allison and Noah Robertson
August 6, 2026

US President Donald Trump’s frustration over the Iran war boiled over last week, when he demanded answers from Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth on why he had apparently been misled on extreme munitions shortages that now threaten to limit military options with Iran, two people familiar with the exchange told The Washington Post.

The encounter took place on Friday on the sidelines of his cabinet meeting at Camp David where Trump vented at Hegseth that he thought the munitions issue “had been fixed”, according to both persons familiar with the conversation, who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity due to fear of retaliation.

The shortages, particularly in long-range guided missiles and air-defence interceptors, have been part of the reason Trump has pulled back from launching additional massive strikes against Iran in recent days, one of the sources said.
Trump said on Monday that he had ordered and subsequently called off “the biggest attack since World War II”, pending claims of new negotiations over the Strait of Hormuz.
While the United States has announced new production agreements for some of the most critical munitions, such as Patriot air-defence missiles, the munitions themselves can take as long as two years to produce, and there’s no immediate relief in sight for the shortages.

In the first month of fighting alone, the US fired off more than 850 Tomahawk cruise missiles and more than 1000 Patriot and Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) systems, the Post previously reported.

The US also used more than 1300 of the army’s tactical ballistic missiles in the initial weeks of fighting, one US official told the Post. The stockpile of ATACMs – a short-range missile also in demand by Ukraine – is drained to the point at which none are left, said one person familiar with the issue, as reported earlier this week by Reuters.

Patarames @Pataramesh

Escalation dominance is firmly with Iran

Trump can restart war again for 2-3 weeks
– Investing remaining JASSM & Tomahawks
– Allowing riskier air raids into Iran, projecting more & heavier firepower
– Sacrificing remaining PAC-3/THAAD/SM-3(-6) to create a shield for a short high-intensity war

➡️ But then Iran won’t stop anymore without be given surrender-scale concessions by the U.S.

and if civilian infrastructure is targeted, the entire region will be devastated for many years to come… and world economy with it

HRW says Israel’s killing of Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was ‘war crime’

Israeli air attacks that killed Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil and wounded her camera operator Zainab Faraj earlier this year were “deliberate” and are thus “war crimes”, Human Rights Watch has said.

Khalil, an Al Akhbar reporter, was killed on April 22 in the southern town of at-Tiri while reporting on Israeli hostilities in southern Lebanon.

HRW said evidence, including a request from the UN Mission in Lebanon and the Red Cross, showed Israeli forces knew the journalists were in the building Israel struck.

The rights group also revealed that Khalil was likely still alive when Israeli forces prevented rescue teams from accessing the journalists’ location.

“The evidence is clear that the Israeli military knew, or should have known, that Faraj and Khalil were civilians, but attacked them anyway, and then prevented paramedics from rescuing them for hours,” Ramza Kaiss of HRW said in a statement.

Thank you for the correction.

What I wanted to highlight is the culture of impunity and the anticipation of the crimes and injustices they intend to commit.

Hegseth and others know why they choose to reside in military camps.

*** It’s utterly baffling to observe the Likud destroying Israel from within.  It’s almost as if deep down Likudniks desire  a Masada 2.0.  ***

Whatever that was …. there are some serious doubts about the “official” version.
