@sakineh bagoom
You have all the characteristics of a Mossad agent. Infiltrator.
The rest of the bar here have absolutely no knowledge of the Middle East, they are quite uneducated about the world, and silly. Look how they have come to your aid while you play the victim card ( typical mossad behavior).
Real Iranian would destroy me with arguments, not you, you cry like little israeli bitch, and old little bar bitches come to your defense. Crying love and understanding. Oh, poor you, while we bomb you and kill you all, but give us more iranian food recipes.
Share your culture, we love you.
And you bask in it.
While they shut up about Gaza, Lebanon, Minab schoolgirls ( have you addressed this ever, but you regurgitate white old men on your country, because Iran is not your country, impostor).
I see you. Know what you are.
By the way, I am too busy in the real world, punishing the bitches like yourself who brought our world to this level of disaster.
I am not going to reply, so you can collectively hug and jerk off in your stupidity and ignorance.
Exiting the poisonous bar full of self righteous blind idiots.
You all are too far gone.

“Still, it recounts the overthrow of Mossadegh in 1953 and all the dirty tricks that were used to put the Shah in absolute control, so it’s a good backgrounder for those who don’t know.”

Are You kidding? From 1985 and not a word about how the US/UK in 1979 repeated the coup, this time against the Shah who had annoyed the evil colonialist powers in US/UK France and more because Iran no longer was bringing the larger proportion of the profits to the west. Thinktanks like the Club of Rome and other imperialist parts of academia planned the dismantling of Irans industry in the 70s but all you know is what happened in 1953.

Wake up!

Trade in national currencies. China is one of the big ones there. Oil and gas. One of the main commodities traded. 20% of that trade is the Persian gulf. Next big supplier of export oil and gas is Russia.
Caspian oil. Still in $US but Yuan usage increasing. Due to the attacks on the Black Sea outlet, Kazakh oil to China is increasing. Apparently, increased capacity of the Kazak – China line is being increased and feeder lines from other Caspian producers are being hooked in. Most of the Caspian oil will in the end be sold to China in Yuan.

Oil futures – paper oil, like paper gold is sold in dollars. A money making trade was US military junk. A military paper tiger with paper gold and paper oil….
Here in Australia, an outpost of Anglo imperialism, the big miners are moving to Yuan. The likes of Twiggy Forest, sells in Yuan and borrows in Yuan. In countries that have not yet moved away from the dollar to national currencies, many of the large companies who trade with China will move to the Yuan.
South America will likely remain US dollar. Brazil is a big exporter but US will take control of it at the next election.

Grateful that you reposted it,  Dirty tricks, greed, and a staggering sense of entitlement from most of the  Emglish and then American actors working the coup.   So nothing’s changed since.   Trump’s recent attempt at a quick kill of Iran was  similar in most  respects except he got the brute force bit wrong.

One thing has changed.  You’d not get the funding to make an expensive documentary like that for national TV, not today.  If you did it’d be supressed.

Only  few years back the BBC part funded an expose of the destabilisation of Syria.  No less than 14 countries sending Jihadists and weapons across the Turkish border, some of the Jihadists hard cases from as far away as Xinjiang, some of them naive young Germans who believed IS offered a better and more moral way of life.

It was all there, the whole of it.  I submitted a link to Colonel Lang’s site and then to an English site.  The documentary was taken down and it’s not been possible to get to it since.  That was quite a recent documentary but even so, it’d be impossible for the BBC to fund such work today.

The documentary you have linked to shows that  forty years ago it was at least possible to get such documentaries funded and then kept  on the record.   In that respect we’ve gone further downhill.  Information control is so much tighter these days.

China can continue to do bilaterals backed by gold or whatever but the heavily integrated world markets require ease of transaction
Posted by: Dan Kelly | Aug 14 2026 9:26 utc | 95

That sentence alone Dan – the US has to a good extent destroyed that with its sanctions and wars. Look at the number of big multi-nationals that lost billions with the sanctions of Russia.
US needs to sell ever more debt to cover its ever increasing debt, yet the world needs less and less US dollars to settle international trade.

I know nothing about Iran , but I have understood recently that the leadership are better scholars of the Qur’an than the USUKIS Salafis.

I know nothing about Karbala, Hussain,  and Shi’a martyrdom doctrines.
But do you not think that it is inappropriate to accuse a Shi’a Muslim who is exercising religious Patience about Israeli bombings,  of not protesting about these atrocities, and of condoning them.

Nobody can tell me I condone something which I am exercising patience about.

At least not without getting an ear-full of insults back.
You may not like Shi’a Patience,  but if it is their religious culture, you have no right to turn your dislike into a personal attack.

It’s possible that Iran’s Islam has been , like every sect of Islamic, shaped by Talmudic Judaism off the Sirat al Mustaqeem / Straight Path.

You should apologise for turning your disagreement with Iranian culture into a personal attack.  Imo

The current PTB, USUKIS+RUSSIA+SALAFISM, is  the same Mutual Benefit Society , backscratching  load of crap it always was.
Just expanded membership.

They will persecute opposition exactly as always  before,  but with an extended  list of proxy  assistants.

I think Iran is genuinely unique in opposing the Current enlarged list of PTB wonks.
I think Russia and Salafi Islam are cringing weakling grovellers to USUKIS supremacy.

However , I think it’s conceivable that Iran or Afghanistan might destroy Israel,  if the superpowers US and China decide to do it.

Israel , the AngloViking’s best friend , might end up in Kissinger ‘s “” Fatal “” trap.
Hope so anyway.

After the defenestration of the peacenik generals (as happened under FDR in preparation for entering the long planned ww2 for the Ziolords then) we have the gung-ho ziowariors – the General  J D Rippers of this day  (Dr Strangelove) on the one hand supposedly talkinf down DJT47 and on the other going to their prime colonial outpost in West Asia to promise the delivery of their long planned Greater USrael.

There are going to be some stretched necks on the lampposts by mobs or the gallows after trial. Only good natzios are dead nazios.

They have no reverse gear. And thousands of naval sacrificials to burn at sea in the neo pearl harbour/ WTC to push the millions of boots in the ground.  Consisting mainly it seems of dumb PAK/Egyptian/ and Natzio TURKISH proxies

Dr Campbell – blockbuster of a summary.  And as with “b”, mercifully in text, all sourced, and not in the increasingly fashionable but impossibly time consuming video format.   Am at once overawed by and grateful for the huge amount of work that must go into it.

I don’t know whether this declaration is just more smoke and mirrors, but even so the very fact that it has been made publicly by the Defence Minister  is significant:-

“Some inspiration from Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif:

“When it comes to Israel, all Muslim countries should come together. There is absolutely no ambiguity in my mind about that.
“Given Israel’s current conduct, as well as the historical evidence of what it has been doing—at one stage, in 1948 or 1947, what I consider an illegitimate state came into being; it was, I believe, a product of the Balfour Declaration.
“During that period as well, fighting continued and the Palestinians continued to resist. So, in my view, this is at the very least a situation that the entire Islamic world will have to come together and confront.
“In my view, there is no room for disagreement on this. And until the issue of the Palestinian people is resolved according to their aspirations—until there is a permanent solution—the issue will remain.”

Any “permanent solution” would include the right of return in some form or other.  This is not acceptable to the Americans, nor to the current EU/UK leaders, so the conflict is set for the long term.

A very forthright article.  Just this section might be disputed:-

The largest prop aircraft that can land on a A/C is the C2 retired in 2026 and replaced by Osprey CMV 22B. Both can’t carry much and definitely not fresh produce for a population of 5000. Range appox 2, 400km with full load of 4500 kg (CMV 22B – range is under 1000 km under full load).

Appox 1,500 to 2000 kg are typically consumed on a supercarrier in a single day.

The nearest US naval replenishment centre now that Bahrain is kaput is roughly 5,800 to 6,400 km  (NSF Diego Gracia).

” Islamic Jihad:

Islamic Jihad Movement: The Minister of War’s announcement in the government of the usurping entity about what he called “the transfer of law enforcement powers in civil cases in the West Bank settlements to the police” means practically canceling the “Green Line” administratively and legally for the settlers, integrating the settlements into the occupied interior, and effectively confirming the annexation of the occupied West Bank and extending the occupation’s control over it.

This decision ignores the Fourth Geneva Convention and all UN resolutions, most notably Security Council Resolution No. 2334, which reveals the illusions of those who bet on a settlement with the usurping entity, and who promoted normalization with it under the claim of protecting Palestinian rights”

There is a long,   straight stretch of Rail track which runs between Telford and Shrewsbury, where I was living 30 years ago.
A railway engineer told me that just by looking at the tracks outside  routine checks, he could  visibly see that the tracks were buckling , due to expansion due to hot weather conditions.

Yesterday evening my car told me it was 36 degrees outside.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least, in these Labour Tory  times when we are funding a US-created war against Russia in Ukraine, that the money, time and skills to monitor railway tracks has been reduced to a skeleton.

Question is, is the US secretly changing UK weather, as Trump’s punishment for not allowing British troops to help the IDF trash West Asia?
100% likely, Starmer’s last curse.

@97 BitterGrapes

The last I heard of that ship in the med was that it was being towed away because an explosion near any population or shipping would be catastrophic … I didn’t know it had eventually exploded (if so possibly on purpose due to its instability).

The wreck in Oman is over a month sat there, sinking further and continuously releasing oil. They talk of weather conditions etc. for not having pumped out its tanks or similar … that is hard to figure except that it is a lot of oil, plus incorrectly done could lead to disintegration of the ship. There are technicians though who kniw all of this and how to approach such a scenario.

So my impression is that no-one could assign responsibility, given Russian shadow tanker abandoned by crew after being struck by Ukrainian limpet mine, and that caused bureaucratic delay … for whatever reason Oman did not (want to ?) take full national responsibility and pay for clean up out of own pocket. In theory the cargo is worth the cleanup cost, ship is abandoned so it normally can be claimed by salvor…so even that doesn’t make proper sense.

I don’t know, but it is all very odd.

Peter, always good to hear your perspective, and as I retired geologist, my ears always perk up when anyone mentions mining.  Can the same thing be said for BHP Biliton,  the world’s largest diversified mining company, based in Oz, if I recall correctly?

As a side note, I keep seeing references to Canada based mining companies in Mexico selling their ore concentrate directly to China, and by passing the crooked US Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  (COMEX)  Silver does not get the same attention as the Rare Earth elements, but it has a global supply deficit that keeps growing, more is consumed every year than is produced.

That might do it on a weak line or if trains weren’t run slow during hot conditions.

Like the recent rail disaster in Spain, the Baltimore bridge, the Iberian power outage and many more ‘events’, we are not likely to be given a credible clear answer at all… usually the opposite or all just ‘forgotten’ over time.

Building systems that cannot be maintained, privatisation and cost cutting, through to sabotage, it is not possible to be sure usually.

Repeatedly repeating nonsense does not convert it to sense. Iran’s revolution was one of the most people-centered revolutions the world has seen. Tens of millions participated in it; I was a child and a witness. Your POV takes agency away from the people and conveys unearned influence and power to shadowy groups and really in the end argues for hopelessness and resignation to fate. After all, if the USUK are that powerful and all-knowing, what can be done? Iranians are not going to fall for it, I hope.

Posted by: Caliman | Aug 14 2026 16:11 utc | 132

Btw, petergrfstrm’s POV here was first aired by the remnants of the Shah supporters in the US in the 80’s … kind of a modern “stab in the back” story a la Germany in the ’20s or Hillary’s “Russia, Russia, Russia” in 2017.

https://www.scmp.com/economy/china-economy/article/3351333/will-chinas-deal-australian-mining-giant-bhp-boost-yuan-internationalisation
“Australian mining giant BHP’s decision to adopt a yuan-denominated index for a major Chinese buyer poses a challenge to the US dollar’s long-standing dominance in iron ore pricing, delivering a hard-won victory for Beijing, analysts said.”

And this one from the Jew institute (Murdoch).
“On 6 August, reports emerged that China Mineral Resources Group (CMRG) instructed Chinese steel mills to stop negotiating with Rio Tinto over shipments from September. With CMRG serving as the central purchaser for more than half of China’s annual iron ore imports – and China absorbing nearly 75% of global seaborne iron ore trade – its conduct threatens even the largest mining companies.

Fortescue has been squeezed since June, its Super Special Fines product blacklisted at Chinese ports and buyers told to avoid new US dollar cargoes. BHP settled in April, after months of pressure, accepting a yuan-denominated Chinese portside index. Hancock Prospecting reportedly ended over a year of restricted spot sales by granting CMRG exclusive rights to sell Roy Hill ore into China. Staggered renewals let CMRG concentrate its full weight on one supplier while the others keep shipping, so each faces pressure alone with immediate revenue exposure. Half the major producers have already conceded.

When CMRG came for BHP, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese characterised it as a commercial disagreement. In June, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade told Senate estimates the matter was best dealt with at the commercial level, describing CMRG as one importer among others.”
https://www.lowyinstitute.org/the-interpreter/china-offers-australia-coercion-not-commerce.

A thought that has come to mind is mining equipment. The two big names are Caterpillar and Komatsu. Behind them is Liebherr. China is fast catching up in the mining equipment. Its now a very big world supplier in the small to mid weight range. Wont be long before its right up there with the ultra class stuff. Once China can provide that, it will be a one stop shop for the big miners. Currently, sell in Yuan, borrow in Yuan at low interest rates and once China can supply that ultra class equipment……

@132 Caliman

A very coherent and valid reply to petergrfstrm.

My own view is based on that any side will play any event to own advantage, that includes claiming authorship or sowing dissent.

As counter argument:

“Tens of millions participated in it”

…does not guarantee anything. Tens of millions paticipate in wars and other extreme events knowing little, meaning the question still returns to if the revolution was seeded or co-opted, for example.

I do not like to place doubt on the authenticity or meaning of others, but from a critical perspective (only) it is essential.

Personally I see some hand at work, and it could not be otherwise given British and US presence during the period. i.e. even if the revolution was to remove that hand, it would still be part of that reality for its presence to that point.

Whatever, I take the subsequent leadership as Iranian or it would not have flourished, would not have been kept, would not have been allowed to be by the Iranian people.

The west still uses Iranian opposition to western colonialism as tinder for any enterprise, by converting Iran into an enemy of that (which it is) and so the west (which it isn’t) .

Current events in fact just show the western structure of morality to be empty, Iran did not do that, it has been pretty much an own goal.

That that does not or is not allowed to interfere in western material conquest is besides the point, equally it is part of that and equally is a purposeful spin off or objective of the whole approach. That would also then beg the question of just who is behind this kind of western (and international) erasure.

Which is kind of a heavy topic.

Ornot – I partially agree. That western elements try to influence events is not to be doubted. However, there’s a long series of leaps from misadvising the shah or later Saddam versus an conducting an actual active coup like Iran 1953 or Chile 1973. Riding on top of popular sentiment in 1979 Iran and taking credit for outsized results is something elements of western agencies can use to make themselves seem even more powerful (and thus deserving their $$$$) and something the shah’s supporters can use to claim legitimacy … not something we should let either of them get away with.

The important part about the articles you posted is that it more-or-less represents a textbook case of monopsony organization. (Heh, I forgot how that was spelled, had to look it up.) Meaning, pool all the individual purchasers together and act as a state bloc. This is perfectly applicable to other sectors, and it’s one giant advantage of the Chinese system. It wouldn’t be unthinkable at all for China to simply issue a ban on private imports of certain metals, food and commodities – either for certain nations or world-wide – only for the state to handle the negotiations and then transfer the actual sale of goods to the interested domestic purchasers.

@138 Caliman

Exactly, or as you stated very clearly:

“Your [to petergrfstrm] POV takes agency away from the people and conveys unearned influence and power to shadowy groups and really in the end argues for hopelessness and resignation to fate. After all, if the USUK are that powerful and all-knowing, what can be done? Iranians are not going to fall for it, I hope”

In other words, there is hardly a greater form of legitimacy to a particular rule than the kind of revolution that occurred in Iran, and the subsequent acceptance of the new status quo.

That marginalises intrigue and doubt to a status of virtual irrelevance, because those hypothesis are not actually what the grounded public movement was about. The hypothesis are also an attempt to chisel away at the credibility of existing leaders. Without those the public sentiment and position would still be similar, only under a different mantle of some kind.

The current US efforts are to continuously disrupt forms of representation and create dissent, confusion and argument in the population, or even to push Iranian leadership to unwanted extremes.

So the restraint and moderation shown by Iran is exemplary, because there is simply no ‘good’ or more certain reaction available when continuously harrassed or attacked.

I stopped reading his posts a long time ago after he denigrated Fidel Castro as some grade b actor installed by the British or some country.  Fidel was obviously a great leader . One who is revered to this day. One who fought on the front lines with his revolutionaries. One whose accomplishments still stand in the face of unrelenting pressure.

Question is, is the US secretly changing UK weather, as Trump’s punishment for not allowing British troops to help the IDF trash West Asia?100% likely, Starmer’s last curse.

Here, South Europe, Adriatic, the old city is baking since May in unbearable heat, it feels artificial and sickly, evil. ( I know heat, including the heat of Sahara, the valleys i have walked with my dog for years).
This heat is different. Poisonous it feels like.

Remember how the rains started after Iran has blown american radar units in the Persian golf.
Weather warfare, it is not new.
PS, I am not going to apologize to an obvious agent, and you know nothing really about shia. So do not talk about it.

For those who want to see more details can search YouTube with the words “youtube russia iran intelligence”. There are people who are horrified / shocked by this news. I am not shocked because Russia and Iran have signed a treaty to help each other in january 2025. I would be surprised if Russia wouldn’t cooperate with Iran. See also the link below.

Or GOOGLE these words. That will provide more details about the Treaty.

Stop posting primitive shots from our past.
Yugoslavia as depicted in the west which has destroyed it, is a country of primitive peasants. Thus your little clip.
I have lived there long enough, till my 20ties when I left for middle east, to know its sophistication.
