Lol, the Nazi lover Canuck brags with a foiled terror attack by his kin. And no, Nazi scum, the FSB will stay alert, destroy the terror networks, they learnt a lot since “operation cobweb”. Posted by: aquadraht | Jul 14 2026 19:23 utc | 202 The route of the confiscated drones is interesting too: from Kiev to Slovakia (or Chechia?) and Poland, then Belarus. Lot of effort, all for naught. Posted by: frithguild | Jul 14 2026 19:38 utc | 203 For those so naive, and can’t get enough of the Putine in their diet, maybe read the article more carefully. “After the adversary launched the drones, all terrorist weapons were neutralized by the FSB special unit, which carried out the operation” Posted by: CrazyCanuck | Jul 14 2026 19:42 utc | 204

Posted by: Jeremy Rhymings-Lang | Jul 14 2026 19:47 utc | 205 According to the security service, a Russian citizen recruited by the adversary for money rented the building and received the shipment. The FSB also revealed that Ukrainian handlers had recruited two Moldovan citizens, Victor Pirlog, born in 1986, and Aurel Kalos, born in 1995, who underwent specialized training to prepare the hangar for drone deployment. After completing their work under the supervision of their handlers, both men departed Russia. In addition, the SBU recruited a former member of an ethnic organized crime group, who had previously served a lengthy sentence for serious crimes, through a terrorist organization banned in Russia, to carry out the attack, the security service said.In 2022, the man had signed a contract with the Wagner Private Military Company. After taking part in the “special military operation,” he was amnestied, and in 2023 he was granted Russian citizenship.“Following the instructions from his handlers, he assembled and activated drones, established a communication channel with foreign operators, and then left the scene, waiting at a designated location for an evacuation group that would take him to a safe house and then transport him to Ukraine to participate in hostilities against Russia,” the FSB said, adding that the man has been detained and has already confessed to acting in the interests of Ukraine.“An accomplice, who rented the hangar, received the hazardous cargo and placed building materials used to mask the criminals’ real objectives, resisted arrest with force and was neutralized by return fire,” the security service added. The FSB further revealed that the SBU had recruited minors aged 13 to 16 to perform specific tasks, including activating illegally purchased SIM cards used to control the drones.“It has been established that Albert Victorovich Vasiliev, a Ukrainian and US citizen, born in 1991, a Ukrainian video blogger, rapper, and film actor, who uses the pseudonym ‘Kyivstoner’ (Kievstoner), was also involved in organizing the terrorist attack and coordinating the activities of accomplices under the patronage of the Security Service of Ukraine,” the security service said. What a waste of resources… not enough. 🇷🇺 Rubicon Drone Operators Report 109,166 Combat Sorties in JuneIn addition to the stark contrast between destroyed AFVs and tanks (191 vs 13), it is also clear that Ukrainian soldiers are not the priority target – strikes mainly hit infrastructure, without which they cannot and should not fight properly. The greatest emphasis is on communications and electronic warfare.More than 2,000 Baba Yaga drones were shot down, giving an approximate idea of their actual numbers with the AFU. Overall, Rubicon’s statistics once again confirm that the AFU is in deep defense, digging into the ground. Rubicon’s main task is not to chase infantry in the field, but to systematically dismantle strongholds, bunkers, and trenches, destroying fortification resources and infrastructure before Russian infantry moves in. Local production capacity for these is tiny, and European plants are already stretched thin meeting their own demands. Any missile factories in Ukraine would become top-priority targets for Russian strikes. In general, I agree, yet I am highly skeptical about any move of armchair strategists, generals, supreme commanders or RF presidents, be it the Helmer kind, or also to some extent, the Russia Trust substack author with his series “The NATO/Ankara Sycophancy and the Existential Danger of Russia’s ‘Escalation Management’ “, esepcially Part 5: “The Power Shift from SMO to CTO” and following. Posted by: aquadraht | Jul 15 2026 15:46 utc | 266 Yesterday, near the village of Korabelov, south of Kherson, a field headquarters of the “Ptakh Madyara” unit was destroyed; the site had been used to coordinate strikes against fuel tankers traveling along the “Novorossiya” highway from the Rostov region to Crimea. Following a Russian Armed Forces strike using a UMPK-equipped FAB-3000 bomb, up to 60 servicemen from the 414th Separate Strike Unmanned Aerial Systems Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces were killed; two of them were buried in Kyiv today. Of course even destroying every fuel station and fuel tank in the area will not hinder trucks to fill up and drive 1000km which is the average range of such a vehicle. Yet fuel stations are not only removed 50km from the LBS but all the way to the Dnyepr, even beyond. There was even an attack in Shitomir oblast, 85km northwest of Kiev. Posted by: steve | Jul 18 2026 18:41 utc | 285 I didn’t realize it was a total stalemate. I thought Russian forces were making at least a little progress in the Donbas but they’ve made essentially none at all these last several months. 🇷🇺🇺🇦 6+ months into 2026, and the frontline looks almost identical. For those wondering why, its because both sides have accepted a war of attrition. Territory is a byproduct of this kind of warfare. Right now we are seeing both sides try to grind the other one out. Whoever wins will take the territory.
