Not generally one to celebrate or wish for the death of anyone but my weekend has been made on learning of the passing of Senator Lindsay Graham. He was truly a despicable person rejoicing in the deaths of innocents he considered were deserving of their fate. I hope that he is joined by Trump, Rubio, Vance, Van de Leyen and one or two others.

According to my observation the tourism of Western politicians to Kiev has dropped sharply in the last months. Let‘s wait and see, if the trips to Ukraine will resume or if they will be cancelled after Graham‘s death.

For better or worse, Russia has been scrupulous in avoiding attacks on visits by official delegations and heads of state, but as far as I can tell, Graham was in Kiev as a private citizen, not acting on behalf of any official body, so just put himself in the wrong place at the wrong time with no official or diplomatic protection.
 
As an aside, the authorities in Hell had better be careful, get too many neocons down there and they’ll start agitating for regime change…

The possibility a missle attack killed Graham is also intriguing. I’ve thought about why Russia doesn’t try to hit these grandstanding bribery drives.  They make a lot of noise touring around in flak jackets taking kickbacks seems a logical choice.
 
Im thinking maybe the patriot shortage and short ballistic missle launch to impact times makes this more feasible now. Before it would’ve been too iffy to waste a missle if it could’ve been shot down.  When you have a clear shot though that changes the calculation.

I wondered about this when I read Larry Johnson’s post, so I did a quick check.
 
To be back home by the time the distress call was made,even using a special or military aircraft, the senator would have had to leave Kyiv no later than midnight on Friday, July 11.
Yet, according to the article, he had arrived there around 10 a.m. that same day.
 
So, what Larry Johnson says makes sense: does it make sense to undertake a 27-to-28-hour journey each way just to stay for less than a day?
 
That’s where the appreciation can differ.
 
On the other hand, such a journey can be too much for an old man that has always some foam at the mouth.

If there’s a constant proliferation of supposed information coming from who-knows-where, telling you there’s a diesel shortage near your house because you know a cousin who works near the ministry and has heard that tomorrow there won’t be any diesel for anyone.
 
And tomorrow, taking advantage of the lie, you go with your truck and buy, between 6 and 8 in the morning, several hundred liters of fuel that you’re going to sell between 9 and 10 in the morning at double the price, who’s responsible for speculating and making money? The government? It’s obvious that the supposed fuel shortage problem doesn’t exist. What exists is FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) that allows individuals to try to profit.
 
The authorities are already taking measures to prevent speculation by undesirable individuals.
 
Russia has no other existential option, which is why it created the SMO (Social Military Organization), but to build a civilization based on principles of independence.
 
Russia’s history is a context, but it doesn’t determine its future. Pootin is a guy who has shown enormous limitations in generating a kinetic conflict, and that proves there are people in the house who have common sense. Because, if you know your enemies can’t handle you, what need is there to shove a thermonuclear tactical weapon up their ass?
 
Those with real power don’t engage in verbal conflicts when, in terms of nation-states, you hold the power. Only those who lack power make threats.
 
So why is Pootin maintaining a war that harms the civilian population for so many years when he could end Zelensky, his junta, and everything? Because this conflict won’t end tomorrow.

Yahoo lead state autopsy refers to cause of death “aorta dissection” breakdown of aorta which suddenly ruptures and causes low blood flow to major organs.
 
This seems feasible.  But, causes appear to be high blood pressure or chronic valve disease such as bicuspid vice tricuspid valve.
 
My brother had damaged aorta from bicuspid valve which is a genetic event patient born with.  His cardiologist know about this and treated it with open chest surgery.
Graham a U.S. senator and veteran like my brother would have been diagnosed earlier.
 
i am 75, my PCP asks everyone over 65 who smoked to check their aorta.  I have had echocardiogram 18 and 5 years ago.  Again I can’t imagine I am better cared for than a US senator

But..  As aussies we know long haul air travel is risky… especially for the elderly – and those with health issues diagnosed or not…   Airlines include this risk factor in the very small fine print of their pages long disclaimers.
 
Re the ladybugs timeline.. I just don’t latch on to everything Larry Johnson writes. IMVHO he’s been wrong about a lot.
 
And has Graham’s schedule re into and out of Poland-Ukraine been verified?
{and of course, that detail is going to be muddied going forward…. Especially if he did die in Kiev.
 
If Graham died in transit… I don’t think they’d need to cover that up, as his visit to the drone factory was well publicised and acclaimed.

I cant imagine Putin signing off an any deliberate targeting of a US senator, maybe, maybe he was inadvertently hit while making a secret visit to a Ukraine Drone. But this administration would never pass off someone high ranked like Lady Lindsay dying of natural causes if they could have plausibly blamed the Russians.  Of all the options available I think it is more likely he died in an embarrassing manner (heart attack with young male prostitutes and drugs, last time he was in Kiev he spent something like 500,000 on a 3 night stay in a hotel; all paid for by the US tax cattle, must of been one hell of a party) and the government had to rush him back state side to avoid a scandal.  There is a third option though, that Lindsay was taken out by western oligarchs who saw him as an obstacle to de-escalation with Russia or Iran.  With his death, the “Sanctions from Hell” legislation he was on the cusp of passing will probably die with him (fingers crossed), if that legislation had been passed it would have created a huge headache for international trade with China and India (it effectively would have broken the world market into 2 separate systems).  If he was taken out in an internal western power play, then maybe we’ll see some changes in US direction over the next month or two
