With all the air tankers parked in Israel when will those be gone soon. Not like the US can replace them in 5 years time.

I think what they are talking about, re accuracy, is that Iran converted their systems from GPS, to Beidou, which happens to be more accurate than GPS, and un-hackable (cannot be spoofed).

This is just my own take on it, but it is highly probable that Iran has developed their own GNSS LEO constellation for military data linking – they already (classified) launched over a hundred dual-track satellites domestically and soyuz.  (AEI says 26 – but Iran doesn’t have to announce every launch, and use either China/Russia aswell).  
 
Iran’s “Qassem Bassir” missile is reported to combine INS with advanced electro-optical sensors for terminal guidance. The missile can lock onto a target using infrared or optical imaging in its final flight phase, achieving high-precision strikes that are largely unaffected by day/night conditions.  No data is provided on the GNSS satellite linking, as this would be military classified, but I’m going to guess its a domestically produced ‘constellation’ and does not rely on Russian or Chinese GNSS as this would heavily compromise any IRGC mission, with politics. 
 
We already know Russia has a soft side for ISIS (Israel) so that would rule out Glonass, Beidou is the obvious ‘lazy’ thinking.

Iranian government and Russia have a defense agreement but that does not include mutual defense or weapons transfer. 
 
The bigger issue is Iran has 2 military arms. The regular government army and IRGC and its proxies. Almost the entire war is carried out by the latter. Since Russia only has a defense agreement with the government there is little benefit IRGC gets from it. However as DPRK helped Russia defend its territory and not the incursion into Ukraine, there are areas of military cooperation between Iran and Russia if Iranian territory is invaded. 
 
Iran must deploy sea mines, land mines, APMs at the first indication of US troops on Iranian territory. Drones with mine scattering capability should be deployed. Normandy would look like child’s play.
 
In the long term weakening the IRGC helps Russia. IRGC stands in the way of allowing Russia and other foreign powers from having military bases in Iran. The government of Iran has no problem with it. The ultimate defeat of NATO in the region will be when Russia has a navy and submarine port in Iran, potentially in Chabahar. Cut through Azerbaijan and build a land link to Iran adjacent to the Caspian Sea and Russia can bypass European exits and control petroleum flow. This can be leveraged to lift sanctions, protect the so called shadow fleet and have a say in middle east affairs. The middle east badly needs the Russian military for sensibility.

Russia desperately needs a warm water port for its submarines. Black Sea and Baltic Sea exits are now blocked by expanded NATO. Finland joining NATO and Ukies acting as NATO cannon fodder. Iran is the perfect base. Russia and Iran are separated by a relatively small landmass that is increasingly ruled by pro-NATO loonies. A warm water nuclear submarine port in Iran resolves many challenges and turns tables on NATO control over the middle east. China, Saudi Arabia, India, etc. would also benefit from it. They will certainly not oppose it. The Great Game will be back but time Russia will be the winner.
 
But for that the IRGC must be weakened. Iranian government should be relatively more strengthened. It is happening like it or not. Russia doesn’t intervene. China doesn’t intervene. Save Iran, not the IRGC seems to be the consensus around the world. Apart from Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthis, IRGC has no friends! No surprise there.

This war, or series of wars, can only be considered “existential” if one is thinking in truly long terms. Iran struck Jordan’s Aqaba again. 
The thick black smoke reportedly comes from the King Hussein intl Airport in Aqaba, Jordan, after it was hit by Iranian missiles. 
This is in addition to the earlier missile that impacted outside the airport.  The airport is hosting many US military aircrafts.

IRGC claims second attack on US base at al-Tanf in Syria

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it has carried out a “surprise attack” on the US special operations command center at al-Tanf in southern Syria, describing the operation as retaliation for US strikes that killed Iranian conscript soldiers near Iranshahr.
It is the second time the IRGC has claimed to have attacked US forces at al-Tanf since the latest escalation began. US Central Command previously denied an earlier Iranian claim that the base had come under attack.

It is not able to is the direct answer, because these ecosystems are unique, not some kind of farm or something that can be bought or paid off.

Taking out satellites……
 
In the past 5 or 6 years SpaceX has deployed 12000 satellites, 3000 have been deorbited, mostly from depleted maneuvering fuel.  Estimates the average Starlink satellite maneuver to avoid collision 45 events per year.  This depletes maneuver fuel.  Certainly some deorbits are from equipment failure, all deorbited require network action, new satellites or reserve different links.
 
Starlink has D o W to keep it solvent.  With easy debt.

I was just about to write some thoughts on that considering they only have a design life o five years (if that is correct).
 
Musk is Pentagon and Starlink is pentagon. Used for battle management. Handed out to the proxies in Ukraine at no charge. Also used for colour revolution type regime changes when a country cuts its internet to block US psychological warfare on their population.
 
The headchoppers in Nigeria and the three Sahel states have them. Starlink is heavily advertized on utube and elswhere for civilian use. It would be quite handy out in the bush, especially if in a mobile camp. I have used geostationary satellite internet and the dish has to be mounted somewhere solid then using a signal meter align it on the satellite.
 
The civilian aspect however is primarily cover for its military use. The bit of funding from that will help with costs but primary funding is by the pentagon for military use, both battle management and psychological warfare.

The (likely) no-bid contracts are also (probably) illegal, not like any US regime or the Congress cares about rules or laws anymore.  But someone is paying for it, and it ain’t the Muskrat.
