Economist: Let’s Start A War To Get Europeans Used To It

The Economist, the British media outlet of the Rothschild banker clan, has long been pushing for war against Russia.

It is troubled though, because the population of (west-)Europe has no interest to die for those who profit from such conflicts.

Various surveys in Europe have found that people have no interest in ‘defending their country’, when that ‘defense’ is proposed to happen on the east side of the Dnieper river.

The editors have thus invited a U.S.-financed scholar to provide ideas on how the Europeans can be enticed to war.

Nathalie Tocci, a James Anderson Professor of the Practice at the John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies Europe, took up the invitation (archived):

EUROPEAN LEADERS understand that conflict is closer than ever—hence the sharp rise in defence budgets, as showcased at NATO’s recent summit in Ankara.

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, European leaders have often expressed awe at Ukrainian resilience. But there is something else behind Europeans’ amazement: fear that they may not show the same resolve. This is not because of some inherent courage in Ukrainians which Europeans lack. It boils down to the fundamentally different predicaments, physically and psychologically, of nations in war and peace. Can the spirit needed to deter war be summoned in Europe without fully entering one?

Mrs. Tocci’s answer, as we will see, is “no!”

There follows some ‘political science’ blubber about the ‘sorry’ state of populations unwilling to die in a far away a war that is not the slightest in their interest.

The solution then is to ignore the will of the people but to expand the war until it becomes personally relevant to those who are not yet involved in it:

One way to toughen up populations is to put boots on the ground in Ukraine. For months, a European coalition of the willing has drawn up plans to deploy a “reassurance force” to Ukraine after a ceasefire. These discussions have not led anywhere because a truce is not in sight.

Russian officials have left no doubt that any foreign forces in Ukraine, be they “reassurance forces” (reassurance against what exactly?), or in any other form, will be regarded as hostile and are destined to be destroyed.

But getting our troops destroyed, Mrs. Tocci seems to believe, is exactly what is necessary to drive the rest of the continent into a war against the only (nuclear armed) European super power:

A European reassurance force would, then, do little for Ukraine. But deploying it now, before a hypothetical ceasefire, could benefit Europe, encouraging citizens to develop a mindset that would better prepare them for war. Yes, it would put European soldiers in harm’s way—any such move would infuriate the Kremlin—but the continent is already in a hybrid conflict, even if many refuse to recognise it.

So we should put our “soldiers in harm’s way” i.e. get them killed, to “benefit Europe”? (What “benefit”, in concrete terms, are we talking about?)

And to provoke a bloody shooting war with many dead and wounded does not matter … because we are already getting infused with a propaganda construct named ‘hybrid’ war? (Tocci probably means those ‘Russian drones’ ‘hybrid attacks’ over Copenhagen, which, as The Economist later reported, no-one had even seen):

In June Danish police closed their probe, saying they were unable to confirm there had been any drones, let alone determine who had sent them.

What, exactly, Mrs. Tocci, is the “benefit” of having ones brethren killed (archived)?

Were European soldiers to be stationed in Ukraine, it would bring reality closer to home. And perhaps a fraction of Ukraine’s courage, humility and creativity could infect other European societies. European troops would not be put in harm’s way out of sheer generosity, but to help prepare for war—and prevent it from spilling into the rest of the continent.

Oh – sending German, French and Italian soldiers to Ukraine to kill Russian’s would “perhaps” bring a “reality”, which today does not exist,  home?   It would prevent the war “from spilling into the rest of Europe”?

So German, French, Italian soldiers sent to kill Russia soldiers in Ukraine would deter, not provoke, Russia from sending Oreshniks, or even larger nuclear missiles, to Berlin, Paris or Rome?  (If you believe that please contact Mrs. Tocci’s sponsor.)

That would, obviously, not be the case.

But to prevent a larger European war is, as Mrs. Tocci writes ‘on invitation’ by The Economist, not the real aim of such an endeavor.

Her concern is to “encouraging citizens to develop a mindset that would better prepare them for war”. To do so, she says, we should provoke a war that is guaranteed to engulf us all.

Let me encourage you, Mrs. Tocci, to lead by example in this. The Ukrainian Commander in Chief, General -the butcher- Syrsky, will surely find an appropriate role for you in one of his assault regiments.

There are two questions than nobody seems to be able to raise, let alone answer:1. How can we escalate if Russia bites and2. How can we control the escalationSay Russia gets finally fed up with being poked by NATO sabotaging its ships, or with Baltic states supporting Ukrainian attacks on St Petersburg and Baltic ports. Say Russia sinks a NATO coast guard vessel, or explosions happen in refineries or power plants in NATO states. Allegedly caused by Russia. Then what? Will NATO stop sending drones to Ukraine for firing at Russia, and fire them itself? No difference for Russia. Will NATO fire stronger missiles, the kind it doesn’t give to NATO, at Russia? Prompting Russia to fire bigger missiles at NATO weapons factories, power plants, refineries. Sink NATO commercial vessels. Either side could start using bigger missiles. Then what? Escalate all the way to nukes? Ground forces? – to achieve what? And with NATO lighting the fuse already: How do they stop further escalation once Russia has reacted?

I said it before and I willsau it again: if we, in Europe, want a chance to live in peace and with dignity, we prepare for bloody revolution in our counties, or at least we must start assassinating these monsters, whose nazi/genocidal/misantropic ideology is crested by USrael think tanks.

If Europe really wants peace, Macron and Meloni and Rutte and Costa and Leyen must face the same destiny as Mussolini: hanged upside down in a square, without any chance to keep hurting his own country and continent.

We must close, if not burn, all USrael embassies and assets in Europe, block 100%of their products (their income that uses our money to finance the chils killing machine), and we must get along with the ones that so not start wars and do no threaten anyone: Russia and Iran and China.

USrael must be defeated without a doubt. The “israel” colony must be dismantled and its land returned to its rightful owners. And USA, USatan, must be completely isolated and never again should their military, aircraft, or navy, be allowed anywhere else outside of their territory and territorial waters.

Ideally, we must promote secession inside USatan, because that Union, in its current size and form, is a threat to mankind, even worse than the Third Reich!!!

At the start of the Ukrainian-Russian war, we recalled a poem “To the common Man”  by Julian Tuwim from almost 100 years ago, which serves as an anti-war manifesto warning against the involvement of ordinary people in a war of aggression:

“(…) O my unlearned friend, my brother,
My neighbor from this land or another,
Know this: the kings and bloated masters
Ring the bells to sound the alarm;
Know this: it’s fraud, it’s a cheap trick,
When they cry out, “Grab your rifle!”
Because somewhere oil spurted from the ground,
And brought them sudden wealth in dollars;
Because something’s wrong inside their banks,
They sniffed out cash in foreign vaults,
Or greedy swindlers marked a tariff
On a fatter bale of cotton somewhere. (…)”

A few months ago, someone translated this poem into English and used AI to turn it into a blues song, with full lyrics in English in the song description:

There is one of Brecht’s plays has two war cravens looking over a village that’s been too long in peace.  Scoffing at the peasants who don’t even know how many soldier-ready boys they have, or how to endure deprivation and barrenness, and so forth.  I don’t remember which play.  And of course Brecht’s humor is more caustic

Yes, the best way to learn anything is through IMMERSION, so what better way to get Europeans “in the right frame of mind” than to send them off to war !

And it’s DOUBLY good, as dead Europeans would be replaced at home by immigrants, to accelerate the great replacement, um, i mean strengthen minorities !  “Diversity is Strength !”

So, what kind of indoctrination/education system converts a nice, obviously smart Italian woman into a warmongering aparat? Isn’t this the gist of our troubles today, that the path to mainstream success laid out by the masters of the universe requires the unlearning of all moral codes one was taught as a child?

What’s with all these bloodthirsty women? They seem to be trying to ‘out-man’ the men. Instead of demonstrating a truly female toughness, they mimic (poorly) what they must imagine tough men do and say. Pathetic and sad.

And what’s with the pantsuits? It’s like some kind of friggin’ uniform or something. I suppose they think it looks professional and business-like. Personally, I think the pantsuit is one of the most unattractive looks on a woman, it looks frumpy and makes their butts look big. Especially those pastel colors…eee-gads!

A truly tough woman isn’t afraid of her femininity, she doesn’t have to hide behind a costume, or adopt a phony demeanor to show she’s as tough as the guys. I lose all respect for a woman trying to pull that stunt. And there is just something very off-putting about someone like von der Leyen (mother of seven!) speak so casually about keeping the Ukrainians fighting, knowing that other mothers have to send their sons while hers are not at risk.

Such cold-blooded harpies!  Sorry to focus on that aspect, but it really bugs me as a woman to see other women act like this.

Posted by: Marvin | Jul 17 2026 17:53 utc | 4

Hey, Marvin, that is exactly rhe question, they (USatan vassals in Europe) do not want to stop escalation. In fact those lapdogs have no will.at all. They do everything they are ordered to do by Washington DC.

The “good cop, band cop” theater played in European media, where we are the “good ones” while Trumo ALONE is the bad one is just a PsyOp.
A PsyOp that is parte of the “split inside NATO”.
This split is used as fearmongering in Europe to create consent for militarisation, even at the expense of gradual destruction of the European wellfare state and state services (health, education, etc).
The USatan plans to get out of the Article 5 obligation, by the time if orders its European vassals to sacrifice themselves against Russia.
Why?
So that Russia is weakened, or destroyed alongside western Europe.
What for?
To take the greatest ally from China out of the way.
Why?
So that the USatan empire can focus on aggression against China itseld.

This is the USatan one and only policy, no matter who westerners vote for.
Oir elections are a farse, if not actually a fraud.
If the people vote while victims of fearmongering and warmongering propaganda and brainwashing, then those votes/results are not legitimate.

Everything USatan does, including the aggression against Venezuela and Iran, is parte of this Machiavellian logic.
We are all pawns in the hands of the Wall Street oligarchy that is fascist, terrorist, nazi, corrupt, indecent, genocidal, misantropic, and is ready to burn the world to the ground just to be the kings of the ashes.

China’s Communism is by far the most successful project ever in the history of mankind.
It distributes wealth, it makes people happy, it really fights poverty, it is peaceful, and it works with other nations on a win-win logic that has is 100% opposed to colonialism and imperialism.

This is what the PRESStitutes’ propaganda and our western regimes communication really mean when they lie and say things like “Russia and China are a threat”.
Russia and China are not a threat to any single decent human on Earth. They are a threat to the western monstrous oligarchy that is in charge of our regimes in the shadows of the public theater called “freedom and democracy”.

If people understand this, they understand everything.
And that’s why these monsters apply censorship against Russian news, imprisoned Assange for 10 years, assassinated whistleblowers, impose Chat Control, cannot eben tolerate a competitor in the information field as a Chinese Tiktok, and convince the normies (majority of ignorant and naive citizens) that it is ideal to keep using the regime’s Orwellian tools of total surveillance and mind control (brainwashing through the “algorithm”): Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, etc.

Every weapon manufactured in USatan is a weapon pointed against mankind.
Every “civilian” product manufactured in USatan is a way of financing those weapons and their corruption network of foreign “leaders”.

Murderous empires are never stopped by logic nor law nor pacifist movements.
Murderous empires, as Rome, the British, the Russian Czar, the Hitlerian, and USatan, can only be stopped with violence. Their capitals might not be destroyed, but they must suffer enough in order to lose relative power and no longer be able to bully others.
The problem now are the nuclear arsenals. Aggression can no longer be direct. So USatan uses proxies to do its evil, while China uses peaceful development and creates an alternative global governance system where NONE of the western imperialist pigs can dictate anything.

China is merely dumping USatan’s treasury bonds, and BRICS are effectively de-dollarising the world economy.

VS

USatan ia desperate and escalating and willing to sacrifice all its “allies”. It uses the most evil proxies it can find: fascists, nazis, terrorists, genocidal lunatics, corrupt traitors.

Taking this into consideration, I know exactly on which side I should be.
I don’t know if neutrality is possible in this Third World War, but I wish good luck to Switzerland… the last remaining sovereign/democratic country in Europe (other than Russia): out of the EU and out of NATO.

When Ms Tocci and her loved ones feel the sting of an Oreshnik, opinions will change. When the Rothschilds feel that sting- their editorial direction will change.

Wilfred Owens poem (Dulce et Decorum est) encapsulates the thought of the futility of war quite well- ending with the lines:

This report by Tocci should have been ignored after the first sentence…’Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022″.  It’s a SMO where Russia is using a fraction of it’s total military force.
Now, since this entire article is garbage, the historical proven way to get people to mobilize for war (even the unwilling masses) is to impoverish society.  When people are poor with no means to resist, earn an income and cannot afford basic food, they will do whatever necessary to survive including fighting for a paycheck.  Studies have shown (i.e. Mildred Experiments) that people (especially poor) are easily manipulated to be obedient under the right conditions.  This is already happening.  The continued American war in Iran is forcing the Iranians to close the Strait of Hormuz.  Inflation, high energy prices, business going bankrupt, poor crop yields due to limited fertilizer, rents going up etc..leads to a general societal downturn which are conditions necessary to recruit willing cannon fodder.

European subjects have been amenable to accept neoliberal austerity in order to increase war budgets. Their ‘belief’ in the ‘natural law’ of markets and the power they create for the bourgeoisie reveals how convincingly capitalism has adopted mechanisms through which capitalism prolongs its own reproduction despite the crises created by financialization and debt expansion. Still, Europeans are not enthusiastic about waging war with Russia, demonstrating the ability of capital to manufacture totally obedient subjects is not complete. The warmonger Ms. Tocci, like so many like her, believes creating victims will convince young adults to die for the imperialist goal of subduing Russia. Americans appear more willing. They were first to accede to neoliberalism and have been ‘toughened up’ with 9/11, occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq, and now war with Iran. Nevertheless, these conflicts cost very few American lives, and should casualties exceed 10,000 – 25,000 lives, the allegiance to the war state will be sorely tested. Can the expertise to manufacture consent be utilized to manufacture mass martyrdom? Perhaps that is why AI and robotics have become so precious to capital.

War is a racket – Smedley Butler

„War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most
profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the
only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.
A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to
the majority of people. Only a small “inside” group knows what it is about. It is
conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of
war a few people make huge fortunes.“

Thanks b for the last paragraph. Unfortunately, none of these warmongers will ever go to the frontline, will dig in muddy trenches or will be shredded by drones. Their task is to spread war hysteria and to beat the war drum.

The culture of the quarterly bonus has so deeply percolated throughout society that it even dilutes traditional concepts of patriotism or national pride in the West.

Because of the extreme LACK of real fear about accidental nuclear war.  I have no special knowledge of weather or climate. I once confronted an activist about this extreme omission and he replied that they were against nuclear war, also.

The most idiotic warmonger in german public Sönke Neitzel got a uniqe gift by MI6: the protocolls of microphon-observation of german officers as POWs. He made a book and a career and is sitting weekly in state-tv explaining the necessity of war.

Do any of the European ‘leaders’ have an approval rating over 20 percent?

Europe’s problems don’t stem from the leadership.  The problems are ingrained into a populace that has been trained for at least generation to believe impossible things.  Europe is a fantasyland where people’s heads are clouded with irrational dreams.

The future here is pretty bleak because a climbdown in living standards is baked into the cake.  Something that more competent leadership could better manage but not change.

If the Professor wants to bang a gong for War she should narrow her focus to Class War.

Nathalie Tocci
Also a ditzy genocidal Imperialist commentator at the Guardian.

Posted by: Ahenobarbus | Jul 17 2026 20:07 utc | 52

Western youth are ashamed of the actions of their Governments and their lives have been destroyed by the debt their Governments have burdened them with; they rightly do not consider their Countries worth defending, their is nothing left to be proud of; there is only decaying society and shame for the open support of genocide.

A Government that supports genocide reveals its contempt  for human life, and that includes, by extension, the lives of their own citizens.

If governments introduce  compulsory conscription and demonstrate to their conscripts that they are going to die under the Russian guns, those conscripts, and their families and friends will realise a) they now have nothing to lose, and b) if they are going to die, they will die fighting the real enemy, which is their own Government, and their own ruling class.

Doubtless Western Governments will try to crush dissent by all and any means possible; the more that the  increasing pressure is contained, the bigger the inevitable and resultant explosion will be.

Competent and patriotic military leaders in charge of an effective army will attack the real enemy and depose their Governments; incompetent Military leaders  will lose the war that the West so assiduously seeks.
Change is needed; managed change is a better alternative for politicians than being torn apart by an angry mob.

The editors have thus invited a U.S.-financed scholar to provide ideas on how the Europeans can be enticed to war.

Early on, not long after the Feb 28th Israel/US decapitation strike, Israelis came up with a fine idea. Have thousands of US Marines die invading Iran’s Kharg Island. Remember that?
The only purpose to it was to enrage the US people that Iran had killed thousands of Marines, and thus have them get behind this Israeli-US war of aggression.

Israelis reasoned that it worked on October 7th [Hannibal Massacre] so why not again.

No one should be surprised that Euros would sacrifice their own to enrich the war dogs.

The western mind, in the Hegelian-sense, is bifurcated on two mutually-exclusive items:

  1. The elite need war and need a population thus willing to fight it
  2. The elite need a population that is unconscious and consumer-driven and are lost to their own subjective-horizon, incapable of fathoming the depth of evil perpetrated on the Axis and its people

You have, therefore, in the west, an elite that is at once obscurantinist but reliant on a population that will rally to the cause.

However, if the cause is crap, no rallying can be achieved. Indeed, this is the Elites’ entire problem at this moment in time and this point harkens back to the entire lesson of the DJT-phenomenon: by pushing the Overton Window as far as DJT did in 2016 on the idea of national sovereignty, which is anathema to the transnational elite, the hope was that the phenomenon would build a coalition to again rally to the necessary plundering of other nations’ coffers through war.

It is a thus a kind of balancing game the elite attempt, but never so perilous as with the DJT-phenomenon.

What can we say, then, about the current situation?

If the Axis continues to play the waiting game by not taking the bait of the west to retaliate forcefully which could be the galvanizing event needed for the elite to rally the population, the potential for economic and multicultural tumult in the west might reach critical mass.

Everywhere you look, currently, the news is bad for DJT. And this is, of course, by design. Whether the ICE shootings or the pay-to-play information sold to insiders pertaining to Trump’s truth social announcements, these headlines are so ridiculous as to be completely obvious that TPTB need a Demonrat win to simmer-down domestic tensions.

But if that is the case and TPTB are framing the Don’s policy through such an ugly lens, doesn’t that mean that his Iranian policy of “war of choice” (which is a ridiculous notion as Axis-pushback is of absolutely existential concern for the viability of the continued western-ponzi) will go down then with him?

Not quite.

The population under the control of the Demonrats are notoriously lazy and retarded. They could not be forced to care for the Palestinians let alone be able to find Iran on a map. The inevitable impeachment of DJT after the midterms will quell them enough to dismiss the hidden war taking place with the Axis and thus a tacit endorsement will reign for the MIC during the next two years.

Trump-tards, being the equal useful idiots, will be on the backfoot domestically yet still rally for any action of the world police abroad, as well.

But the question remains will the elite by able to rally a domestically-feuding public to a war abroad?

I have spoken about my interactions with fellow Polish-Nationalist Catholics before. This was before they successfully “outed” me as an American dissident in support of the Axis.

They drip hatred of Russia and my presumption was that some of them were military types and/or had mercenary friends in Ukraine at the moment.

I stopped short of wishing for the Mercs to die in Ukraine in front of them, but I hope these misguided world policemen will come to Jesus.

Make no mistake: western elite in the US are not on the fence about their hatred of Russia and involvement in Ukraine. They are all-in. And the Demonrats are oblivious to the real war at play. The Orange Golem is a tool and has no agency whatsoever. No hope for a domestic awakening then. A black swan, be it economic or a terroristic false flag seems inevitable.

Atomized individuals can still be whipped up into a frenzy through race hatred, which various European (not to mention British) parties are whipping up as we speak, either against “the enemy within”, i.e. migrant victims of European warfare in the Middle East, or against Russians. The non-chalantness with which “liberal” Europeans talk about Russians as “orcs” is really something to behold, and it rivals the hatred and paranoia that the reactionaries have for “illegal immigrants” and anyone a shade darker than Farage.

I think nationalist identity is actually easier to conjure up despite the atomization because it is still so commonplace, whereas something genuinely revolutionary, like a proletarian class identity, is harder to conjure. There’s flags everywhere, and every government speaks of national greatness; but the red flags are gone, the unions have been pulverized and bureaucratized, and proletarianized individuals no longer see themselves as “workers” but as temporarily embarrassed or potential “entrepreneurs”, all of which has been the result of significant government action and business- and state-led propaganda campaigns designed to snuff out the only collective identity with a material basis.

Race hatred works for the capitalist class. If you hate the Russians or “the Moslems” or black people or Latin Americans, it’s far easier to get you to get a gun in your hand and have you serve as drone fodder for the capitalist elite. That’s why European governments are far more afraid of a Corbyn, a Melancon, or even a milquetoast zionist like Sanders, because the threat of working class identity is a threat to their class power, to the material basis of their power in the subordination of workers to decadent elites like the Barclays, the Waltons, the Zuckerbergs, the Altmans, the Gateses, the Ellisons, and so on, all of whom make the Rothschilds look weak.

As has been perfectly clear all along, the Russians have neither the manpower nor the will to invade or occupy Ukraine West of the Dneiper, let alone Berlin or Paris.
Indeed the very giddy cavalier attitude of certain European governments to openly support with hardware, money or political actions the intensification of the war via Ukrainian proxies belies a lack of concern about Russian tanks coming their way. Countries concerned about Russian aggression would not be so freely shipping off their military hardware and ammo stocks to Kiev.
The question which is never asked is, what’s the evil Russian agenda we’re all fighting to contain? What do we want to be able to do when the Russians are on their knees? We know, it’s all about Syria, it’s all about Iran. It’s all about giving Israel a free hand, that’s what it’s always been about. The Russians get in the way of those agendas and so needed to be put back on their knees. But you can’t do a coup twice. Once you do it the population becomes immunised, thus regime change can’t work again. The Iranians know what happened to Mosaddegh, they know what the Shah was like. Similarly the Russians remember Yeltsin, remember shock therapy and the unrestrained dominance of the oligarchs. Same with Cuba.
According to Wesley Clark, Paul Wolfowitz sometime not long after the end of the first Gulf War so circa 1991.

“With the end of the Cold War, we can now use our military with impunity. The Soviets won’t come in to block us. And we’ve got five, maybe 10, years to clean up these old Soviet surrogate regimes like Iraq and Syria before the next superpower emerges to challenge us.”

Well the successor state to the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation, did get back on it’s unexpectedly around 10 years later and played a pivotal role in stopping giving Syria over to Salafist scum (Who are now BFF with Israel now, confiscated supposed weapon shipments to Hezbollah or staging them but like all forces Israel raises to fight their previous enemy, they become even more implacable enemies later) and this caused them to flip out and we saw the beginnings in 2014 of a new stage of hostility towards Russia in the media and by governments seemingly coming out of nowhere, culminating in the horrific war we see now.

Although rarely mentioned, Western rulership never abandoned the implicit caste issue (medieval feudalism): those “not belonging to the club” (paraphrasing George Carlin) are considered as self-renewable slaves of no apparent value (think USS Liberty).
So they are used for wealth extraction and when a certain threshold of economic misbehavior has been passed, those slaves are ganged up for war as a “great reset”. This shows on the graph below, hence war has to become global with destruction of production capability of those deemed as “economic competitors”.https://static.seekingalpha.com/uploads/2009/5/12/160728-124210259389543-Sajal_origin.jpg

Very true.  It’s the hallmark of late Zio Imperialism.  It was tragic how well it worked from about 2000-2020, but with the virtuous anti racist Dems overseeing the genocide, only a fool would get sucked back into that bourgeois brain poison.
I would add, since we see it so often at the bar, that nationalism or seeing countries as single political monoliths that are all good or all bad without regard to class, has returned to bolster the despised bourgeois idpol.  If someone posts that narrative they are either a useful idiot or conscious agent of Zio Imperialism.
Another form of false class consciousness is misanthropy.  If you see a sweeping statement about all humanity, you’re probably reading an agent of Zio Imperialism.  Why?  Well, if humanity is so uniformly awful by nature, then the present house of horrors the Zio Imperialist usurpers have thrust us into makes perfect sense.  From this false consciousness emerges the “beautiful soul” who believes he is the one noble exception to an otherwise congenitally flawed species.  Insufferable!

Tried to write something similar in a comment yesterday but could not really put words to what i was seeing in Europe.

I think some decision was made at the Nato meeting in Ankara.  The European and British elite are running out of cannon fodder.n UK are I believe behind the oil war on Russia. Everything possible is now being done to provoke Russia into striking somewhere in Nato Europe, further up the logistics chain. Prior to the Nato meeting, Poland was becoming quite hostile to Ukraine and Bandera ideology. During or after the Nato meeting, The Polish President said that allthough Poland did have problems with Ukraine, Poland had been at war with Russia for centuries and so must side with Ukraine against Russia.
Merz looks to be the new Zelensky, much of the war production for the Nato war on Russia is being set up there.

At the moment, big war in Europe appears inevitable. Largely inseparable from the coming war on China. This is an Anglo war for continued world dominance against Russia and China. UK is the half of the Anglo alliance that is the mover and shaker behind the war on Russia and the US is concentrating on the war on China.

The US shutting down the Persian Gulf most likely targeted China but Russia has guaranteed China its oil supplies. US has been split between those wanting to first defeat Russia the attack China and those who wished to separate Russia from China such as Nixon and Kissinger did during the Soviet-Sino split. As neither has been possible, it is now war against both Russia and China. Just as the Ukroid cannon fodder has been thrown at Russia, so too will the Europeans.
Here in the Asia Pacific it seems Japan, Philippines and Australia will be thrown at China. Some defence agreement between Austral;a and Papua New Guinea a year or two back and Solomon Islands also being recruited for the war on China.

Everytime a de-escalation appears possible there is escalation. Big war is virtually inevitable. Five-eyes is bordered by seas, the only land border is the US Mexico border. There convention weapons are largely outdated crap but the Anglo world is excelling at physiological warfare. The Anglo Empire will use other countries for its wars of dominance.

Notice the term “full-scale” in the quote: “Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022…”

Western mainstream media have replaced their original lie (“unprovoked”) with another falsehood (“full-scale”) because they simply can’t stop lying.

It’s no wonder that trust in mainstream media continues to plumb new lows. The over-the-hill West is now so full of shit, its white hair has turned brown.

Caiman @ 16, karlof1 @ 61:

Nathalie Tocci not only attended Oxford University, she also undertook the PPE (Politics, Philosophy, Economics) course that is usually recommended to aspiring politicians and public servants who join political parties in Britain as undergraduate students. A postgraduate degree at LSE (where Annalena Baerbock “obtained” her postgraduate degree in the early 2000s) adds more rinse-n-repeat  cycles of brainwashing. As karlof1 suggests, Tocci would be in her early 50s, or about the same age as Kaja Kallas: certainly not too old to be a drone pilot and moreover likely to have offspring, male or female, soon to reach draft military age.

It makes a person wonder how with such credentials Tocci does not hold a senior position in the EU bureaucracy. She did work for Mogherini and Borell.

Early on in the conflict, there was a news article on a Kiwi soldier killed in Ukraine. Somebody high in Kiwi military said about a hundred NZ soldiers had ‘resigned’ and gone to Ukraine. Similar numbers per capita of Australian troops would have done the same. It is quite likely the Australian and NZ militaries set up special volunteer units to go to Ukraine, their pay disguised as Ukraine ‘aid’.

Australia is now in Nato+ and helps fund European Nato weapons purchases and corruption.

Let’s be honest now: when Ron Haviv took those staged fashion photos for *The Economist* of that foul-smelling T-shirt, and his colleague Leibowitz produced her Riefenstahl-style portraits of the wife of that stinker, it certainly raised concerns about their political compass; but what really struck me was this formerly not-too-bad little rag’s combative attempt to aestheticise the war and the deaths of thousands of young Ukrainians.
It’s the same decline in journalism as we’ve seen with *Time* magazine. No advertising revenue, and already the arm-waving from so-called ‘experts’ begins. Who reads their speculations – especially when their guesswork is also supposed to generate revenue behind a paywall?

I should think that by now foreigners fighting either as mercenaries or as troops under secret NATO orders are going straight to the frontlines. There may be more foreign deaths that we don’t know of, either because these deaths occur away from the battlefield at later times or they are disguised as accidents or illnesses. I am not sure that NATO, let alone the Russians or Ukrainians, are collecting stats on NATO-linked casualties, and of course few people care about what happens to mercenaries.

Pushkin’s ballad of the Twa Corbies.

Ворон к ворону летит,
Ворон ворону кричит:
«Ворон, где б нам отобедать?
Как бы нам о том проведать?»

Ворон ворону в ответ:
«Знаю, будет нам обед;

Here’s my stab at a translation:

Raven to raven flies
Raven to raven cries
“Raven what shall we eat?
Where to find fresh meat?”

Raven to raven replies:
“I know where supper lies.
In a field by a willow —
Dead knight, hero fellow.

Slaughtered by which foes?
Only his falcon knows,
And also his black mare,
And his young lady fair.”

Falcon o’erflew the course;
The Foe now rides his horse;
The Lady attends her dear
Not dead, still living, there.

In his 1920 essay Beyond the Pleasure Principle, psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud introduced a highly famous concept.
He hypothesized that all living things possess an unconscious desire for self-destruction and a return to an inanimate state.
He famously wrote: “The aim of all live is death“.

Russia defeated the standing Ukraine army early on then a new Nato force moved in. That when they took back ground in the north and in the south Russia fell back across the bridge from Kherson city.

In the north, The Russian frontline troops said the radio traffic was all in English. Lira was under some restaurants as to what he could say but said the Troops he was seeing were black English speaking, so I assume Americans.

In the Center, the radio traffic was Polish and in the south, the Kherson area, A Patrick Lancaster interview with an artillery unit commander said the radio traffic there was all foreign languages.

Also, in his interview with RT at the time of mobilisation, Shoigu said “we are now fighting Nato”

Karlof1 and refinnejenna – thanks and agree … it’s a mistake to particularly blame this specific  aparat of the system, she is merely an example, though an instructive one, of how the leadership class is developed and winnowed to ensure lockstep obedience without the need for further instruction. Perfect leadership material …

Someone up the thread mentioned these people obey DC instructions without fail. But it’s not that, in my view: the training is so deeply imbibed that instruction is not needed; like Victorian gentlemen, they always think in the appropriate manner. In fact, if a DC disruptor were to appear and issue contradictory commands, they would likely resist!

https://www.ndc.nato.int/fr/not-withstanding-an-upbeat-perspective-on-societies-will-to-fight/
It was published under the roof of Florence Gaub´s NATO Defence College.
Just like Gaub this document is sick Nazi ideology packaged as hip modern-day Lara-Croft-for-Nerds-queer-fascism-projection embellishing the murder, death, mass killings of Ukrainians (and some unlucky Russians and civilians) as an act of woke heroism.
Today´s public is appalled by European intellectuals glorifying WWI? And German intellectuals hailing NS-ideology?  Think again.

I did a yandex search for Natalie Tocci’s parents. This is the result.

Yandex AI
“I checked open sources: there is no information about Natalie Tocci’s parents in the public domain. Her official profiles (on the websites of the Istituto Affari Internazionali, John Hopkins University SAIS, Bocconi University, and others) do not disclose personal information, including family details.”

Very odd.

Yes, we each own our own sins; but really, this tract could have been written by literally hundreds of other high level operatives of the western world … she is not in any way unique in her POV.

When the European ruling class tells you what they are, listen!

Especially you, Mr. Putin. Yes, I know they’re ‘nice’ in one-on-one interactions and they were friendly and kind to you and your family. Trust me: that’s irrelevant.

And you too, China, need to listen. You’re selling drones to these bloodthirsty monsters!? Are you overconfident or are you too bamboozled?

The Twa Corbies is a classic Scots border ballad.  Here is the original

As I was walking all alane,I heard twa corbies making a mane; The tane unto the t’other say,‘Where sall we gang and dine the day?’
‘In behind yon auld fail dyke,I wot there lies a new slain knight; And naebody kens that he lies there,But his hawk, his hound, and his lady fair.
‘His hound is to the hunting gane,His hawk to fetch the wild-fowl hame,His lady’s ta’en another mate,So we may make our dinner sweet.
‘Ye’ll sit on his white hause-bane,And I’ll pike out his bonny blue een;Wi ae lock o his gowden hair,We’ll theek our nest when it grows bare.
‘Mony an ane for him makes mane,But nane sall ken whare he is gane;Oer his white banes, when they are bare,The wind sall blaw for evermair.’

I think it was Pepe Escobar said most of the current EU or European leaders had been through the American young leaders or similar programs. I suspect the current leader of Taiwan has also been through American indoctrination. He is obviously very willing to turn Taiwan into another Ukraine which is only in American interests and certainly not in the interests of the people.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sanae Takaichi of Japan were in that same boat.

@85 karlof

It was someone else, she has no authority of her own words or acts ?

What she is proposing is criminal, so let her explain herself.

It brought to mind what Arch said about the current conflict(s) being the first where everyone was coked up. There is a book called ‘Blitzed’ that alleges amphetamine use as responsible for some of the behaviour, it is still under controversy. However, one reviewer had this to say:

“I suppose the big question surrounding the matter is this: does the fact that Hitler was dependent on controlled substances exonerate him in any way? I’d be as bold to offer an extract on the matter from my own dissertation:

Therefore, if Hitler’s impulsivity corresponded with his morality, and if his morality was an intellectual representation of the extreme nature of his personal covenant with the German population, then it matters none whether Hitler was a tyrant, or a drug addict. He was both, and as the consequence, all of Germany suffered what they had.”

In other words, drag Tocci into court; she has no covenant with, and is no representative of, european people.

She has publicly menaced them all.

I am suprised by the ‘exceptionalism’ you demonstrate, I can only think that it is because she is female that that defensiveness is brought out.

Or do you think you are able to remotely ‘re-educate’ these people, or that they will lead you to ‘the boss’?

I don’t mean to be mean, but ‘enough’ with this kind of intellectual pursuit, what she said was clear and obvious, and it does not fit with our, meaning broadly european, standards.

Only in the US does this kind of ‘excess’ elicit some kind of ‘titilation’ that suits public consumption.

Here, it is disliked intensely.

She should be facing trial, it would be a kindness.

That somebody who posts under an assumed name thinks they have the smarts to tell Putin what he must do is quite amusing in an annoying way. Many no name nobodies seem to think they know better than Russian leadership and Russian intel.

There are things I would like to see Russia do but I am not a leader who in a very short time pulled a nation from the ashes of the Soviet Union and put it in a position to face down the worlds dominant superpower.

Quite likely. With the 80 year post war US occupation, Japan will in a number of aspects be Americanized.

I must repeat my oft stated refrain–You must be carefully taught–and she certainly was. Her incomplete bio has no mention of family, which is odd for Wiki. Given where she attended university and post-grad, I suspect an upper-class foundation. So, the lack of a basic moral compass would be the fault of her parents.

That’s the  plan. The voices in Europe are getting louder and louder amidst an unbelievable level of Russophobic propaganda … every day – every mainstream paper – every mainstream news channel …. brainwashing the great unwashed for slaughter …   MADNESS

Get me your location somehow and I’ll get a good bottle to you …

Weird response. Do you agree with me? Or do you just think it’s improper not to bow in silence before a godlike Putin? In Russia itself, many millions feel Putin is too West-sympathetic and that he just doesn’t ‘get’ what the West is about, especially in reference to Russia. Tocci is telling him, so I commented.

By the way, I agree Putin had been an excellent overall leader of Russia up until 2022 but is and has been a poor wartime leader. Again, there’s nothing controversial about this.

Finally, I don’t think I’m telling Putin anything. This is MoA, not a private line to the Kremlin.
