War On Iran: – Iran Will Respond To Ceasefire Breaches Wherever Those Are

President Trump and his partner in crime Netanyahoo have tried to draw Iran into a ceasefire trap.

It was hoped for that a bit by bit escalation, like Israeli bombing in Lebanon, would be left without a response by Iran.

Iran however did not fall for that scheme. It had been agreed that the ceasefire in the war on Iran  includes Lebanon and other fronts between the imperialist and resistance parties. It is either a ceasefire for all or a ceasefire for none.

A week ago, when Netanyahoo threatened to bomb the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut Iran stopped all further peace negotiations and threatened to response in kind.

Trump then allegedly shouted and cursed Netanyahoo for his Beirut bombing plans. But such alleged divergences of views between Washington and Tel Aviv have long be proven to be scams.

Yesterday, on Sunday afternoon local time, Israel dropped at least 10 bombs on Dahiyeh.

Iran’s response followed shortly thereafter. Five waves of missiles were launched against air bases and other targets in northern Israel.

Trump, in an interview (archived) with the Financial Times and FOXnews, asked Israel to stay down. He claimed to “call the shots” on the issue:

“He won’t have any choice,” Trump told the FT in a telephone interview. “I call the shots. I call all the shots. He [Netanyahu] doesn’t call the shots.”

A bit later Israel aircraft bombed targets in Iran with stand of missiles. Among the targets were oil installations at the Karun petrochemical complex. Other targets were radar stations.

Iran responded by launching missiles against two additional air bases in central Israel while missiles from Lebanon hit at Israeli oil installations in Haifa.

Ansarullah in Yemen joined in. It announced that all Israel related shipping will be blocked from the Red Sea and fired some of its own missiles against Israel proper.

Both sides of the conflict then concluded the fight. The skirmish is, for now, over.

Trump has several times claimed to restrict Netanyahoo, to hold him back or to order him to stand down. Israel has bombe anyway and, at least in its attacks on Iran, continued to rely on U.S. controlled air defenses and U.S. flight refueling tankers.

Trump’s claims about ordering Israel to do this or that are obviously fake.

The strong cooperation between the U.S. and Israel continues and it is indeed Netanyahoo who is calling the shots while Trump is either agreeing with him or decided to stay silent whenever Israel ignores his ‘order’:

“The conversation between Netanyahu and Trump was overall good,” the official added. “The two countries see eye to eye, even though twice in the past 24 hours we acted contrary to the president’s public position, both in the strike in Beirut and in the response in Iran.”

The official said Israel had shown it could insist on its right to self-defense even when facing opposition from Washington. “Israel proved its ability to stand firm on its right to self-defense even against the president, but without tearing the rope and while preserving the strategic partnership,” he said. “The feeling is that the current escalation is behind us.”

He later qualified the remarks, saying, “We are waiting for a final decision, but the direction is to halt the strikes in Iran, not in Lebanon.”

It seems that Israel has yet to learn the lesson. The fronts are connected and attacks in Lebanon will be responded to with attacks on Israel and U.S. interests just as if they were attacks on Iran:

In a statement carried by Fars, Iran’s Emergency Command said the move followed what it described as attacks by Israel in southern Lebanon and Beirut’s Dahieh district, a Hezbollah stronghold, carried out with U.S. support.

“Following the aggression of the Zionist regime in southern Lebanon and the Dahieh area, with American backing, Iran’s forces delivered a painful response to the regime in support of Lebanon,” the statement said. “A response from which the fake Zionist regime and its supporters should have learned a lesson.”

The statement announced a halt to Iranian military operations but warned that further Israeli actions would prompt a significantly stronger reaction. “It is emphasized that if the aggression continues, including in southern Lebanon, much more severe and painful measures will follow,” the statement said.

With the recent exchange of bombs and missiles Iran has demonstrated that it can not be lulled into a ceasefire trap.

It will keep the U.S. and Israel engaged until they agree to Iran’s peace conditions.

There will be no peace only pause.
If people believe that the end of the rainbow is to be found through negotiations with Isnotrealthen think again.
Recall that a breakthrough in the February negotiations triggered Operation Epic Fury.
Two days before the treacherous Israelis did a sneak attack (while negotiations were going on)there was a major breakthrough in the negotiations. The threat of imminent peace was too much for the warmongering Israelis to tolerate.
The mediator of the talks, Oman’s foreign minister Badr Al Busaidi, had much to say on Feb 27th, on CBS’ program, Face The Nation.

[the sneak attack was Feb 28th, the mediator had announced this breakthrough on Feb 26th]
Read the whole thing.

MINISTER ALBUSAIDI: Because if the ultimate objective is to ensure forever that Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb, I think we have cracked that problem through these negotiations by agreeing a very important breakthrough that has never been achieved any time before. And I think if we can capture that and build on it, I think a deal is within our reach.

Great write up, B.  Thanks.
You’re definitely right.  Zio Imperialism is a single entity that appears to now be directed by Israel.  All this talk of Trump yelling at and reining in of Nuttyyahoo is pure theatre.  Why?  A huge element of Trump’s base is painfully aware that Trump is nothing but an Israeli stooge.  To the extent he maintained any popularity it was based on his “no more foreign wars at America’s expense” lies.
Once again, he is only there because the fake left Dems, their idpol divide and rule campaign, their brain dead president, their undying support for genocide by racial supremacists, their undying support for Neo Nazi Ukraine, all of it was so awful that by comparison even a clown like Trump appeared to be a better alternative.
Now, the Dems keep silent and enjoy watching Trump do the dirty work until he becomes so unbearable to the public that they can win elections based solely on the hatred of Trump.  And on and on it will go until workers in the West reject both genocidal Imperialist parties and seek new alternatives.
On the bright side, based on every poll, I believe that is happening.  However, new parties, new programs and new organizations must be built from the ground up and based on a principled opposition to billionaires, Zionists, bourgeois idpol and the Capitalist system that always becomes Imperialist and has driven humanity to two world wars, not counting the current undeclared WW3.

It’s all just a show for the media and to keep giving Iran false hope, which the illusionists use as an excuse for further fruitless attempts at dialogue.

Clearly, Israel hasn’t been hit hard enough yet. Trump’s words are meaningless.

But Iran is clearly right where Trump wants it to be: a few responses, then another pause, and nothing but threats. Somehow, this is starting to resemble Russia’s previous behavior more and more.

Always remember: Trump wants a result he can claim was achieved through (his) strength and is a victory.

It’s not an easy thing taking on the world empire and its genocidal side kick. It’s a fraught path with many difficulties and reverses. A medium power like Iran needs to keep doing what they can to survive with honor and incrementally over time prove to the bean counters of empire that they are no easy meat and not worth the effort.

That is the path to peace used by stalwarts like Vietnam and Afghanistan, but it’s a long path.

Those that say the conflicts Russia and Iran are engaged in are the same are full of putrid nuts. It’s become very tiresome to read that same  crapolla daily.

After reading Crooke’s recent article then watching his chat with Judge Nap, it’s become very clear that the entirety of Zionist society demands the right to commit genocide whenever and wherever it desires, and that no one should oppose their righteous task. Clearly, Ukrainian society isn’t at all like Zionist society, and thus one major point of comparison fails immediately. Yes, those in control of Ukraine–the Collective West including the Trump Gang–differ little from the Zionists in their view of ethnic Russians regardless where they reside. The attempts to split Russophile Armenians away exemplify that Zionist-like goal. And the same goes for Moldova and the attempts made in Georgia.

Iran is 100% correct to link all Zionist genocidal aims in the region together because the Zionists themselves have done so since their inception. Many awaited Iran’s decision to finally make good on its vow to treat all the conflicts as one and thus to make good on its associated vow to retaliate. However, we all know neither the Zionists nor Americans know how to honor a ceasefire, and so the next breech is awaited–Zionists addicted to genocide are incapable of self-restraint. I’d like to see Iran strike the Zionists for their daily continuation of genocide in Gaza since Gaza is no different from Lebanon as a front in this conflict.

Iran could do no more harm if it bombed the oil facilities in Galveston Texas.

It’s very tiring to suspect that Iran has chickened out over and over again. “Just keep launching, Iran! What are you waiting for?”

But to what end, indeed? Standoff weapons will not destroy the Zionist state. BUT… They are enough to bother and detour Israel from pushing Lebanon and so Isrsel would be effectively cockblocked in the region indefinitely as long as Iran keeps responding.

The same goes for then re: the US. They can not get at Iran through standoff weapons, can not invade due to the unpopularity of the war, not to mention the logistical impossibility, and are being held hostage by the stranglehold of the twin straits.

So, while it does appear that Iran is accomplishing very little, this is only the case if in one’s thinking they have adopted the grammar of empire. Empires are not like a tortoise: patient, slow, impervious. Iran can not match the speed and resources of empire. But they can cockblock in areas where empire is vulnerable.

Some giant tortoises are virtially impervious to predators, including alligators or crocodiles. If the tortoise’s shell is strong enough from age it can withstand the slow crushing of the crocodile’s bite force.

The predator gets tired and relents and the tortoise is released and wanders off peacefully.

Since I see an article about Israel attacking Iran and Iran attacking Israel apparently due to Israels attack on Beirut, I conclude that Irans previous strategy was based on potential for some deal with  the US? Because Israels attacks on Libanon have been going on before.

I have previously assumed that Israels calculations have been that the cost of interchanging missiles is bad for them so there has been less such interchanges for a  long time.

Netanyahu, in part, began his scorched earth bombing in southern Lebanon—and the seizure of territory north of the Litani—so that he could establish a new “yellow line” in advance of any agreement between Iran and the U.S. He wants this to be Israel’s place when the music stops and to make it seem like a ceasing of fire (which Israel will ultimately violate) is all that is required, rather than a total withdrawal from occupied territory.

You are absolutely right of course that the Iran and Russia situations are very different, even though both are fighting the same world-wide commercial sea-empire at the end of the day.
In iran’s case, the genocidal sidekick will continue to be favored and used as long as it continues to enhance the bottom line for the commercial empire AND as long as its true believers in the halls of power continue to be allowed to dictate policy. The other empire centers of influence need to mobilize to kick out the true believers; but this will take time …

The Israeli War Cabinet in which ‘Bibi’ is supposedly a ‘Stockholm’ hostage is clearly suicidal.

And yet they serve their purpose in this good cop – bad cop act that constantly plays out.

Bibi cries that Gvir and Smotrich and Katz are forcing my hand, while DJT gets to play good cop and the CIA media outlets pass on fake stories about how DJT browbeat Bibi for launching the Lebanese strikes.

Its all really bad political theater – DJT gets to attack Iran, without a supposed US fingerprint, while still pushing his own, invalid peace agreement plan (more political cover for rising oil prices and supply issues).

Iran has outdone the US in the propaganda department, with their Lego videos.

Now Iran is using the patented US narrative of “We bombed you, but now we’re done, so if you respond it’s an escalation”.

Trump putting out the narrative that this is all on Israel, and the US has nothing to do with it, is the US realizing that they are not going to “win” this war they’ve been planning for at least 25 years (according to Gen. Wesley Clark), and they are backing down for now.  Just to regroup and plan another way, but backing down for now.

And yes, Russia should take notes.   Go ahead and hit Estonia or drone production factories, and then announce that you are done and any retaliation by NATO would be unprovoked.
Have a Tik Tok video ready to go.

IDF General

On August 20, 2025 Reserve General Yitzhak Brik, wrote an article in the Haaretz newspaper, stating the following:

• “Failure to follow orders, lack of oversight, and an inability to learn from mistakes remain common. Investigations lack credibility, and there is a culture of lies, low standards, and unprofessionalism. There is no operational discipline, and the high command fails to take responsibility. A conspiracy of silence prevails, along with a fear of expressing a different opinion for fear of personal harm. This outrageous behavior is deeply rooted in the DNA of the Israel Defense Forces.”

• “A total loss of trust on the part of combat soldiers and junior commanders in the IDF high command. This is reflected, among other things, in an extremely high percentage of reservists unwilling to serve and double-digit percentages of conscripts “fleeing” the war due to serious mental health problems, exhaustion, and lack of trust in their commanders. The ground army is crumbling in every way.”

• “Loss of professionalism due to a lack of education and training.”

• “A desperate shortage of professionals to maintain armored vehicles and weapons as a result of the elimination of thousands of professional non-commissioned officer and officer positions and the transfer of maintenance to civilian companies incapable of carrying out the task.”

• “A severe shortage of conscripts in the standing army as a result of thousands of war casualties and the inability to recruit others to replace them.”

• “A desperate shortage of reservists, who are voting with their feet and simply not responding to mobilization orders.”

• “Privatization of logistics through outsourcing to civilian companies that cannot meet the needs of a war.”

• “A severe personnel crisis in the reserve, conscription, and career service, one of the worst in the history of the IDF. The best career soldiers are leaving en masse, and young people are reluctant to enlist due to their deep disappointment with what has happened in recent years. It is a tragedy that the IDF is losing all its quality personnel at a dizzying rate; the consequences are disastrous.”

I really do wonder what the sociopolitical situation will be come August in the USA (and Europe for that matter). Perhaps Sri Lanka and other Asian countries are a go-by regarding fuel shortages, lines, extremely high prices and the resulting inflation and demand destruction.

Because gasoline will hit $7-9 a gallon on average in most if not all of the USA. 93 octane unleaded gas is averaging $5.40 in the greater Houston metro area, about on par with diesel. Granted, they have got away with gouging on “premium” grades for a long time, but this is a record and it’s not even midway through June with some drops left in the SPR tanks.

Israel generally starts military engagements to address domestic political concerns.

Dossim refuse to work or fight, bomb something.

The 50 odd US refuelling planes at Ben Gurion both facilitate more distant engagements and offer a tempting target to allow US/Israel to claim victimhood if targetted.

Those in the Lebanese government adamantly demanding that the Lebanese resistance (the only force standing between the Lebanese people and the most notorious army of rapists, murders, and torturers on the planet) and Iran stand down are the same people who equally adamantly refuse to defend Lebanon from Israeli aggression and occupation, to defend their country from US, French, and Saudi corruption and political capture, to defend Lebanese civilians in the south, or to defend their Palestinian next-door neighbors from an ongoing genocide.
The moral choice here could not be more obvious.

…..Analysts said the IRGC operation shattered every previous assumption. It was a public, operational declaration that Iran has not only redefined the rules of engagement but has irrevocably linked its own path to ending the war with the security of Lebanon and the people of Lebanon.
The message is that any future aggression against Lebanese territory will be met with an equally decisive, firm, and swift Iranian military response…….

Even if the IDF is splintering, there are no militaries in West Asia willing or able to take advantage of Israelis fatigue and their leaders over confidence. The Lebanese are an example of the sectarian and ethnic divisions which prevent a unified front to oppose Israel’s war making. While at best a third of Lebanon’s people defend themselves against Israel, there are no popular movements in Egypt, Türkiye, or anywhere else demanding to participate in ending Israel’s aggression.

As for the stock market. The totalitarians are staying faithful to the queue and downplaying if not willfully ignoring the gravity of the energy shortage. They will keep suppressing oil prices until real economic condition catch down. The price of short selling is miniscule compared to the price of not doing so. Tomorrow is the api crude announcement. Wednesday is the cpi announcement. Api will be ignored, cpi will be sold. Then, SpaceX ipo will bring down markets even more until inclusion to ndx.

Thierry Meyssan’s opinion 26 May 2026
“The important thing is to maintain the illusion that the United Kingdom has no dealings with either the State of Israel or Hamas; to continue concealing the fact that Israeli chiefs of staff have been secretly visiting Whitehall throughout the Gaza genocide, in which the British army actively participated. It is better to claim, like Christian Turner, Peter Mendelson’s successor, that only one state has a “special relationship” with Washington: Israel.”

Posted by: petergrfstrm | Jun 8 2026 20:04 utc | 65

Many people wonder on how Washington became dominated by Zionist Nazis. I think, for the oligarchs who run Washington and occupy senior positions, there is a tendency to worship evil for its own sake meaning they love to control, dominate, kill and profit from evil actions. In Israel that worship comes at all levels of society and the virtue of today’s situation is that this evil is so obvious that it cannot be denied unless a person is either evil or a wannabe or just incredibly stupid so those of us who aren’t in love with evil, we need to take note of this and start to understand that most people are good at heart but for those who love evil their souls are imprisoned by the habit and addiction to evil. Evil spiritual forces do exist, and they are running rampant in the Western Empire like never before with Israel at the center of worshiping evil. This is why there is no “solution” to the current wars–the Western Empire fights wars for fun and profit. I’ve actually known people who, for example, love war for the fun of it.

Thanks for posting that breaking news. I saw it discussed by Nima and Larry who attributed it to Sadiq Larijani–yes, the younger brother of martyred Ali–which they described as a completely new security doctrine as I suggested in my comment. The only part of the Resistance apparently not included are the various Iraqi groups. I tried to find a hard copy of the new doctrine but my initial searches failed. What the doctrine literally means IMO is Iran will rain missiles onto the Zionists as long as they persist in their genocidal quest. And I sure hope that will happen. Oh, it should be added that Iran demands the Zionists completely retreat from Lebanon.

Today is the anniversary of the Zionist terror attack on the USS Liberty.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RH3NwiXVn_0 – Skip ahead to Thomas Massie’s speech about an hour and 15 minutes in (unable to copy URL at current time on live feeds).

Meanwhile, the “Israelis” have nearly completed their takeover of the US military with Section 224 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2027 about to sail through Congress after Massie and Rho Khanna tried to strip it out. But there’s more coming from the Senate which is doing something similar via the FY27 Intel Authorization bill which will make US intelligence sharing with Israel mandatory. The bill in question is S-4615, introduced on May 20th by leading Israel Firster Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

But sure. “Israel” is merely a proxy of the United States Empire. It’s just that simple.

Iran had parting shot; Israeli deterrence declined significantly

Israeli media and security sources acknowledged that Iran’s response to the attack on Beirut’s Southern Suburb may have established a new deterrence equation.

…..Israel Hayom reported, citing Israeli security sources, that Iran has successfully established a deeply concerning new equation, whereby any Israeli strike in Beirut will trigger immediate missile and rocket launches from Iranian territory directly toward “Israel”.

The security sources have admitted that before authorizing recent operations in Beirut’s Southern Suburb, military planners did not view an Iranian retaliatory strike as a likely or reasonable scenario, with officials conceding, “We did not think that the Iranians would carry out the threat of launching missiles toward Israel.”

The report also claimed that while “Israel” may have delivered the “last blow” in this latest round of escalation, it did so in a highly restrained manner, lacking American backing and operating effectively under Iranian constraints.

The channel further stated that “Israeli deterrence has declined significantly and has been greatly eroded after this meaningless and futile round.”…………

Thanks for pointing me to that excellent reading. Yes, the global struggle is against Hegemony and the Imperialism that fuels it. As noted, the key player in Iran’s policy change are the Iranian people, but we should also note that Iran’s government listens more now than a year ago. Of course, to be effective, the new policy must be consistently implemented. IMO, it’s unlikely to alter Zionist society’s genocidal thirst in the short term. With luck, it will eliminate Netanyahu’s career, although someone just as genocidal will replace him.

This so called “new doctrine” was the earlier 12 Days War that had Israel begging for a ceasefire. That’s missing for this current round when Iran just went after the US bases in the colonised Gulf and pretty much left Israel untouched. Once Iran knocked out the US bases they accepted the false ceasefire offered by US, leaving Israel free to trample whatever ceasefires they implied to have accepted.

Trump has always been on the side of Trump … although his technique is erratic, there’s some things you can depend on.  Trump and Netanyahu are both willing to make sacrifices to achieve success … especially they sacrifice other people. One way or another the people of Israel are looking like they will be the next sacrifice to ensure Netanyahu avoids investigation … don’t put it past Trump to somehow turn this to his own advantage.

There’s never a reason to celebrate death and destruction … although in the Middle East it has been happening in cycles for thousands of years and I’m not pretending to have a smart solution to fix it. Tenth Commandment is don’t covert what other people have, don’t be envious … that might be part of the answer. Revenge is quite an ugly emotion as well but people seem to enjoy it.

That large wall of text is actually quite good overall.  Kind of a spoken-word, stream-of-conscousness performance (in text form).  The one jarring, incongruent phrase therein that isn’t like the others is this one:

“…passed down disrespectful boomer ideologies…”

This little nugget is just more unnecessary identity politics based on one’s year of birth.  Imo.

Perry Meysson@98:

“passed down disrespectful boomer ideologies.”

Are you a boomer? I am and I fully agree with it. Overall the boomers were a generation who sold out those to come.

It’s quite incredible how everyone is outraged at Israel, not so much about what they are doing in Gaza and Lebanon but how they are messing with the angelic law abiding goody two shoes Merikka. Propaganda machine functioning at its absolute best.

Succinct post.  And it happens so repeatedly that otherwise intelligent observers fall for it over and over again.  Some people, even in June 2026, still try to insist that Trump is really, really a true Peace President fighting the Deep State.  Unbelievable.
