War On Iran: – There Isn’t Going To Be Another Ceasefire Deal

AlArabia has published what it claims is the:

Final draft of [the] preliminary US-Iran memorandum of understanding.

I am pretty sure it is not a draft Iran has seen or even in parts committed to.

It is a U.S. wishlist with lots of points that have no tangible outcome, process or date attached to them. It points to undefined “agreed upon arrangements” and “interim understandings”. Without those being written down and followed by the letter the whole thing is useless.

Excerpts:

  • Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to international navigation, guaranteeing the free passage of commercial vessels and oil tankers without additional transit fees, with the Iranian side committing to take the necessary technical and security measures to ensure the safety of navigation, including the removal of mines and maritime obstacles according to agreed-upon arrangements
  • Enabling the Islamic Republic of Iran to resume the sale and export of oil within the framework of the interim understandings agreed upon by the two parties
  • Consideration will be given to suspending or easing some sanctions related to the Iranian oil sector in phases, in accordance with the implementation of mutual understandings and commitments
  • The necessity of ending military operations and de-escalation on all regional fronts, including the Lebanese arena, will be emphasized, along with working towards establishing a comprehensive regional de-escalation

If that is the real state of the negotiations the whole thing will go nowhere.

Being in week twelve of his two week war on Iran there is no way left for Trump to escape the damage he has caused to the global economy and his own standing.

The best way out for him is for Congress to vote against the continuation of the war. It would give Trump the necessary excuse to recall the troops from the Middle East and to draw the attention elsewhere.

What’s with this pattern of so often providing Trump the US, Nato, Germany, Europe and other violent belligerents advice on how to get out of their dilemmas and offering up excuses they can offer the public? I’m wondering whose side is he on because it is less than clear.

Like what’s with this illogical approach?

I am pretty sure it is not a draft Iran has seen or even in parts committed to.

Then why post it?

If that is the real state of the negotiations the whole thing will go nowhere.

How could it be? It obviously not the real state of the negotiations in whole or part. My pet rock knows this is going no where. Why post any of it? It’s defies belief to not be providing genuine news about the facts and instead offering up other ways out and excuses for Trump and Israel.  Is there a useful point I’m missing here?

So, ponder this. How did Iran achieve deterrence without nuclear weapons?
By attacking all supporting states including a NATO country that could have triggered Article 5 and a willingness to go the beyond regional.
While Russia was not earlier in a position to escalate, that is no longer the case.
I present a counter argument to the nuclear genie firmly confined in its bottle.

I think this could equally mean US/Israel just want to keep the ball rolling. I still wonder if the whole shebang was engineered from the start. They knew Iran had scads of missiles. It follows they knew the surrounding oil and gas facilities/fields, and US bases would be taken out. And, presto, Russia’s behind the eight ball and China is sitting back tsk-tsking. And the food and petro shortages are just the beginning of the real fun for the bigs.

Iran’s red lines in US talks: Frozen assets, Lebanon key issues – Excl

Iran outlines its negotiating stance with Washington, stressing phased talks, financial measures, and regional de-escalation while mediation efforts by regional actors continue.
An advisor on political affairs to the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Amir Ebrahim Rasouli, reaffirmed Tehran’s established red lines in the ongoing talks with the United States aimed at reaching a framework to end the war.

In an interview for Al Mayadeen on Tuesday, Rasouli stated that one of the principal demands emphasized by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf is that Washington must take concrete steps to rebuild mutual trust and address “suspicions of its own making.”

He noted that confidence-building measures include the unfreezing of Iranian sovereign assets, the lifting of sanctions, and the implementation of broader financial facilitation mechanisms.

He stressed that Iran insists the negotiations be conducted in a two-phase structure within a 60-day timeframe, after which discussions would shift to the nuclear dossier……..

The Modern Right/Republican coalition becomes easy to understand when viewed through the lens of this taxonomy.

The coalition is essentially an alliance of evangelicals, Catholics, vitalists, & the techno optimistis, held together against institutional progressivism.

The glue between these factions is cultural:

a shared conviction that Western civilization is in decline & that some combination of technology, strength, & traditional values can reverse the trajectory.

The techno optimists provide the intellectual framework for this conviction. Translating populist anxiety & defense hawk ambition into a narrative about civilizational renewal through technological mastery (e.g. accelerationists & creating “God in a Box” thinking).

If it isn’t obvious, this is the political engine behind American tech supremacy. Pushing CHIPS through Congress, securing AI deregulation, driving defense tech integration, & staffing regulatory agencies with people who think in exponential curves & are aligned with the tech reindustri-AI-lazation of America.

The American edge in semiconductors, AI, & biotech is a function of political will, & that political will is the output of this coalition. Fracture it & you fracture the political sustainability of American tech dominance.

The big problem is that this coalition’s vulnerability is that it is bound by a shared enemy rather than shared values.

The techno optimists’s meaning claim, as outlined previously (that acceleration is sacred & regulation is demonic) is structurally incompatible with Catholic Christianity’s understanding of human dignity, labor, & the common good.

So the alliance holds only as long as each faction perceives the Progressive Left as a greater threat than its coalition partner.

The moment Catholic Christians begin to perceive the technology cult as the deeper threat to their values, the coalition fractures from the inside.

However, Pope Leo XIV’s papacy is calibrated, whether by strategic design or pastoral instinct, to produce exactly that perceptual shift.

This is precisely the reason for Peter Thiel’s recent series of Anti Christ lectures in Rome, Trump & the administrations frictions & diplomatic back & forth with the Vatican.

Consider that Thiel’s Anti Christ lecutures’ thesis: that AI regulation, climate governance, & any institutional brake on technological acceleration are preparations for the reign of the Antichrist, & that Silicon Valley’s builder class represents the true continuation of the Christian civilizational mission. Have been directly challenged & rejected by the Pope.

The lectures were originally scheduled at the Angelicum (the same Pontifical university where Robert Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, wrote his doctoral thesis). When Italian media caught wind of this, the Angelicum severed all association. A papal adviser then published a theological rebuttal calling Thiel’s body of work an attempt to “put a Christian mask on a structurally pagan project”.

The Techno Optimists are now in a struggle to strike a Grand Bargain with the Pope/Vatican in order to keep the coalition alive.

The deeper structural problem, which I don’t think the Techno Optimist faction has grasped, is that the classical liberal political order: free markets, property rights, limited government, deregulation.. is what I would call an “expensive cultural technology”.

Historically, every society that has maintained this kind of order has rested on a Christian moral substrate.

Abstract principles like rule of law & individual rights only command allegiance among populations trained in religious ideals first. The deregulatory posture that American technological competitiveness depends upon &, the Techno Optimists are actively pursuing, is directly downstream of this substrate.

Thus, the Techno Optimists are in the paradoxical position of depending on a Christian foundation, which it is simultaneously undermining with a project the Vatican has now formally identified as pagan in structure..

The Pope’s 1st & recent Encyclical Letters: “Magnifica humanitas” is a clear affront to the Techno Optimist ideals, seeking to place limits & assert its control over the AI that is being created.

Just as there’s a big geopolitical Cold War between the US & China, there’s an underreported &, perhaps equally important, religious Cold War between the Techno Optimists & the Vatican that will determine the software & political future of America.

10Δ on X: “The Modern Right/Republican coalition becomes easy to understand when viewed through the lens of this taxonomy. The coalition is essentially an alliance of evangelicals, Catholics, vitalists, & the techno optimistis, held together against institutional progressivism. The glue” / X

Well, OK, Perfessor, you don’t have to talk down to me like I’m your Science 101 student. I ain’t no expert in higher mathematics. No math PhD here.

I just thought that article was interesting in its approach to the Iran war situation, looked at from a mathematical POV. Maybe I misused the term “chaos” in a technical sense here, but that’s basically the upshot: the outcome at any given moment is unpredictable.

So far as the poster of that article here being labeled a “Mossad troll”, I did find plenty in the original (Substack) article to quibble with, as the author seems to think Iran has lost the war and that Israel somehow has a just cause here. But that’s beside the point: what caught my attention was looking at the war from a non-political, almost mechanistic perspective. I’m not saying this is my new pet theory, but I think the approach is … interesting.

Iran says latest ceasefire violations prove US ‘ill-will’, vows decisive response

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned in the strongest terms “flagrant and unjustified” ceasefire violations by the United States in the Strait of Hormuz.

The foreign ministry warned in a statement on Tuesday that Washington’s true behavior has been exposed once again and that no act of aggression will go unanswered.

“The perpetration of these aggressive actions, coinciding with the ongoing diplomatic process mediated by Pakistan, has once again laid bare the ill-will and bad faith of the United States’ ruling establishment before the Iranian nation, the peoples of the region, and the international community.”……..

…..The statement condemned the US actions as a clear violation of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter and the April 8 ceasefire agreement, holding Washington “responsible for all consequences stemming from these aggressive acts.”
“Without a doubt, the Islamic Republic of Iran will not leave any act of aggression unanswered, and will not hesitate in the slightest in defending the essence of Iran” the statement warned…..

Since dawn, the Israeli occupation forces have intensified the ground assault toward eastern Zoutar in an attempt to suppress Hezbollah’s “ring launchers.” Instead, the advance appears to have drawn Israeli forces into what Hezbollah describes as a prepared ring trap.

Hezbollah says it targeted:
5 Merkava tanks ; 4 Namer armored vehicles ; 1 Humvee-type vehicle ; 1 D9 bulldozer ; 1 communications vehicle ; 11 gatherings of Israeli soldiers were struck with artillery shells, rockets, and loitering “ring” munitions.

@karlofi@56: “they only get rich when they sell” is quite untrue as anyone who’s worked on the street knows. The goal of capitalism has long to been to control assets.  I’m quite serious in saying that most asset managers do exactly that: manage assets.  Selling an asset where you’ve made a significant profit means a tax bill — and the wealthy don’t like paying taxes, unlike the common man.

Yes. “Unfreeze our money, transfer it back. Then we will discuss about nuclear material. Which must stay in Iran.”

Those discussions between the US and Iran are just kabuki. And (if by any miracle), they achieve any sort of compromise, the US congress will then reject it. And (if by any miracle it doesn’t) then the Parasite will create a big false flag mess somewhere.

The current situation is ok for Iran, and it can add a toll on all the under-Hormuz data cables (or cut them one by one). The current situation is also ok for Washington DC, they are making money, don’t care about fertilizers and petrol price at the pump.

The euromorons are being sacrificed, less nazis will improve the global IQ average.

There is some faint hope … watch expansion of Türkiye into parts of the historic Ottoman Empire … competition  West Asia threading carefully. Ukraine has the similar fate as Syria :: becoming a terror state as proxy to western (NATO) imperialism.

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) chief Aleksandr Bortnikov has warned that Western intelligence agencies are planning to use Daesh-affiliated Takfiri militants in Syria as a proxy force against Iran.

The FSB chief said militants who previously fought for Daesh and other designated terrorist groups were being transferred from detention facilities in Syria to special camps in Iraq.

“The history of the Daesh militant group began in similar Iraqi prison complexes under the protection of Western coalition intelligence agencies,” he said.

He further warned that the US-Israeli aggression against Iran represents a broader Western war against Muslim nations.
“Undoubtedly, the escalation of the Iranian conflict and the involvement of an increasing number of parties in it is threatening to destabilise the entire Islamic world,” Bortnikov stated, RT reported.

He made the remarks during a meeting of security chiefs from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Russia’s Irkutsk region on Tuesday.

Bortnikov also said such militants could be used not only across West Asia but also in their countries of origin.

He warned that the actions of Western intelligence agencies pose a risk to CIS member states, noting that released militants include individuals from CIS countries who fought with Daesh and other groups and later ended up in Syrian prisons.

Re: Trotsky
thanks for posting those details of Trotsky‘s killers:

The Cheka engaged in the widespread practice of torture. Depending on Cheka committees in various cities, the methods included: being skinned alive, scalped, “crowned” with barbed wire, impaled, crucified, hanged, stoned to death, tied to planks and pushed slowly into furnaces or tanks of boiling water, or rolled around naked in internally nail-studded barrels. Chekists reportedly poured water on naked prisoners in the winter-bound streets until they became living ice statues. Others beheaded their victims by twisting their necks until their heads could be torn off. The Cheka detachments stationed in Kiev would attach an iron tube to the torso of a bound victim and insert a rat in the tube closed off with wire netting, while the tube was held over a flame until the rat began gnawing through the victim’s guts in an effort to escape.[55][56]

seems uncanny that these atrocities are very similar to what we‘ve seen the IDF engaged in.  Hmmmm….

But Chinese engineers involved have been shot along the area intended for Belt and Road. Maybe you are right that the US will fail but I dont see clear evidence for that yet. I asked AI to estimate the probability that China will attain its goal and the answer was 40-50% probability. AI said China is maintaining enough emphasis on protecting the project from being annihilated as I understand it. But after the rebels got the US night vision equipment things became significantly worse for China and all the ambitious original plans were cut down to  a minimum.

The Cheka engaged in the widespread practice of torture.

Did it? The Wikipedia passage describes reported historical methods, not necessarily confirmed, evidence-based facts in the strict evidentiary standard implied e.g., forensic evidence, multiple independent eyewitness accounts with corroboration, official records, etc.  That abuses undoubtedly happened does not equate either widespread systemic practices or officially ordained by anyone.

China is largely self‑sufficient in urea production, with about 78% of its output coming from coal rather than natural gas, a key distinction from other major exporters such as Qatar, Russia and Saudi Arabia, which rely predominantly on gas.

China has its own large deposit of coals within its border especially in Manchuria and also China has been importing coals from every country on Earth such as Australia.

China is a large exporter of major fertilisers but has stopped due to the war. China has put strict restrictions on fertilizer export and ban exports of many key ingredients for making fertilizer.

It’s not only 20% of World Natural Gas from Middle East that’s needed to produce fertilizer but also sulfur export from the Middle East has been halted. The region accounts for nearly 50% of global seaborne sulfur trade, including shipments through the Strait of Hormuz and from Oman. Additionally, approximately 24% of ammonia and 35% of urea transported by sea globally originate from this area.

China is among the largest exporters of fertiliser – shipping more than $13 billion worth last year. I prefict once everything stabilized within China and when Zhongnanhai assessment that China has no Fertilizer disruption domestically. Then, China will start exporting Fertilizer again but it would then capture the larger share of the market because coal based fertilizer will be cheaper than nitrogen natural gas based fertilizer.

Chaos by: CallSaul @ 80 who Giyane @82 identifies as a “Mossad shill”

This essay argues that the Iran war has entered a genuinely chaotic phase, that the historical parallel most relevant to the present moment is not any single prior conflict but the structural logic of 1914 and 1941 combined, and that the mechanism of catastrophe  — if it comes — will not be deliberate escalation by any rational actor but the emergence of consequences that no party planned, from a system too complex for any of them to fully understand.

<=Zionism is a British invention. It has been used to create the chaos we see around the globe. Complexity is a blocking technology, it makes the world wait until solutions satisfy the ideological goals of Zionism. Chaos is a result of complexity. Complexity, in the Iran war situation, is a result  of a well-planned, actively-pursued, actively-developed, globally promoted ideology which is usually expressed as colonization and privatization.

Strategic Culture article linked by Suresh @ 78 labels it “conflicts whose core is a dispute over the shape of the world order – unipolar or multipolar.”

Apparently the US will have a moon base as earliest in 2029. It will use drones for demarkation against other visitors, Since China has such plans for a later time it seems the US has rushed this during the last year and didnt have such plans until recently.

There is likely to be a substantial difference between what the US says it will achieve by 2029, and the reality of its achievements at that time. Anyone willing to place bets?

One challenge will be to invent ‘drones for demarkation demarcation against other visitors’ that can fly in the lunar atmosphere. The lunar atmosphere is approximately one-quadrillionth (10^-15, or 1/1,000,000,000,000,000) that of Earth at sea level. In fact, the entire lunar atmosphere weighs less than 110 gram, which at sea level on Earth would occupy around 87 litres, or about 3 cubic feet…

The lunar atmospheric density is quite similar to that of ‘space’ where the International Space Station orbits. Maybe the lunar drones (once invented and perfected) could also fly around the ISS for routine extra-vehicular inspection activity?

But, seriously, who writes this nonsense??? And, more to the point, who can possibly read such nonsense to the end without breaking into knee-slapping, eye-watering gales of laughter?

PS. I just had a flash of insight! Perhaps the drones could be rocket or jet powered? NASA, or Mr. Musk, could sub-contract select barflies from MoA to help with deciding which is the appropriate technology. I need to recuse myself immediately since it has been established beyond doubt that this is way beyond the severely limited scope of my expertise…

That “32 million genocided White Russians” claim is not credible. It’s a striking example of how online spaces can amplify a number that sounds precise but has no basis in serious historical research. The ’32 million genocided White Russians’ figure is made up. The “genocide” claim is made up. Real historians put total Civil War deaths (all sides) at 7–12 million. Wikipedia is fine — the problem is people citing fringe sources. And low standards.

But it does appear that the legitimacy of Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE is being questioned.  The MEE news items are clues.

Yes – and I’d add Jordan to that list – to be divided between Syria, Saudi Arabia and perhaps Iraq!

UAE as a Zionist outpost on the Persian Gulf is not in the interests of Iran or Saudi Arabia – by aligning with Israel, MBZ has signed the death warrant for his own country – which will be split between Oman & Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia hats oil rich Abu Dhabi (90% of the UAE oil reserves), and Oman gets the other six smaller Emirates – Dubai is the prize for Oman, and a stranglehold on the Southern Strait of Hormuz.

 Bye bye UAE.

Iraq finally absorbs Kuwait, while Bahrain – does it go to Saudi Arabia or Iran? Or even Qatar?

 Does it matter?

If conflict does break out again – and it will – watch for Saudi Arabia, Iran, (and Oman) to pull a “swifty” and take out the UAE in a coordinated fashion.

Why else did the thousands of Pakistani troops go to Saudi Arabia?

They have a job to do – and soon – march on Abu Dhabi.

@138 snake

“Zionism is a British invention.”

That is questioned as various discussions here demonstrate.

As British, I can say 99/100 Brits have no interest in Zionism, that the same would apply during any “British creation of Zionism”.

What exists now is a largely unpopular ‘friends of “Israel”‘ theme.

So really, a bit more precion is deserved with the definition, same goes for petergfr imo, because Anglo can mean British elite, can mean a transatlantic continuity, can be referred to as a ‘western scandinavia mindset’ etc.

For myself for example, when I read Anglo, it is more continental based ‘germanic pool’ using academic definitions that include Scandinavia.

As for British, a definition is definitely not Anglo Saxon, would have to be ‘British Anglo Saxon’ to mean anything.

Just saying.

In 2010, in the same ruling that the Court of Appeals of Kiev decided to qualify the situation as a ‘genocide against Ukraine, to crush Ukraine’, they also made some noteworthy admissions.

In it they claimed that 10,063,000 people had “died”.

However, their qualification for a “death” is rather unusual.

They note that 6,122,000 of the “deaths” are unborn people.

Not even unborn babies that did not make it, but a person never born, a fetus never even conceived.

Approximately 60% of the “deaths” were not even people that were even born!

This is unimaginably childish logic, equivalent to saying one person being murdered is actually 10 people being murdered because that one person being murdered may have had kids and they may have had kids too, etc.

According with the ruling, that leaves slightly under 4,000,000 people they claim were actually alive.

Of the usual death toll claimed by the campaigners, the Ukrainian court’s is only a third.

Meanwhile the Soviet archives estimate that around 1,800,000 people died.

“ classical liberal political order: free markets, property rights, limited government, deregulation.. is what I would call an “expensive cultural technology”. Historically, every society that has maintained this kind of order has rested on a Christian moral substrate. “

That defines ‘classical” as only referring to the Eurocentric History and the Holy Roman Empire?

So that ‘every society” only includes the Eurocentric historical societies ?

It doesn’t include any ancient other older than Christianity civilisational societies ?

There are many such societies where property rights, liberal law and order, free markets with just enough governance has long been practiced – much longer than all Anglo European Khazarian owned and run ‘nations’ and their creation the Christian religion.

Of which the pope is the Jewish mafiosi of Chicago’s latest catholic appointee.

Last being Obama and his minder Rahm Emmanuel – who probably runs Papa little hat as he did Japan as it’s apponted Governor for his reward. Like some old style Roman consul.

Their ziofascist pope  was installed so that the Catholic Church would recognises man made (AI) life as a new god!

That is the obvious purpose of Pope Leo XIV ‘warning’ that AI fuels modern warfare in first theological document — “We cannot consider AI to be morally neutral”

See? By recognising it as an entity he is giving a credence it does not have!

Zionism versus Bolshevism
A Struggle For the Soul of the Jewish People
By the Rt Hon. Winston S. Churchill

Some people like Jews, and some do not: but no thoughtful man can doubt the fact they are beyond all question the most formidable race which has ever appeared in the world.

Disraeli, the Jew prime minister of England, and Leader of the Conservative Party, who was always true to his race and proud of his origin, said on a well-known occasion: “The Lord deals with the nations as the nations deal with the jews

Good and Bad Jews.
The conflict between good and evil which proceeds unceasingly in the breast of man nowhere reaches such an intensity as in the Jewish race.

The dual nature of mankind is nowhere more strongly or more terribly exemplified.

We owe to the Jews in the Christian revelation a system of ethics which, even if it were entirely separated from the supernatural, would be incomparably the most precious possession of mankind, worth in fact the fruits of all other wisdom and learning put together.

On that system and by that faith there has been built —— the wreck of the Roman Empire the whole of our existing civilisation.

Churchill:

Terrorist Jews.
There is no need to exaggerate the part played in the creation of Bolshevism and in the actual bringing about of the Russian Revolution by these international and for the most part atheistical Jews.
It is certainly a very, great one; it probably outweighs all others.

With the notable exception of Lenin, the majority of the leading figures are Jews.

The National Russian Jews, in spite of the disabilities under which they have suffered, have managed to play an honourable and useful part in the national life even of Russia.

As bankers and industrialists they have strenuously promoted the development of Russia’s economic resources, and they were foremost in the creation of those remarkable organisations. the Russian Co-operative
Societies.

In the Soviet institutions the predominance of Jews is even more astonishing.
And the prominent, if not indeed the principal, part in the system of terrorism applied by the Extraordinary Commissions for Combating Counter-Revolution has been taken by Jews

Churchill:

A Home for the Jews.
Zionism offers the third sphere to the political conceptions of the Jewish race. In violent contrast to international communism, it presents to the Jew a national idea of a commanding character.

It has fallen to the British Government, as the result of the conquest of Palestine, to have the opportunity and the responsibility of securing for the Jewish race all over the world a home and a centre of national life.

The statesmanship and historic sense of Mr. Balfour were prompt to seize this opportunity. Declarations have been made which have irrevocably decided the policy of Great Britain.

The energies of Dr. Weissmann, the leader, for practical purposes, of the Zionist project, backed by many of the most prominent British Jews, and supported by the full authority of Lord Allenby, are all directed to
achieving the success of this inspiring movement.

Posted by: Melaleuca | May 27 2026 12:42 utc | 178

Churchill:

Of course. Palestine is far too small to accommodate more than a fraction of the Jewish race, nor do the majority of national Jews wish to go there.

But if, as may well happen, there should be created in our own lifetime by the banks of the Jordan a Jewish State under the protection of the British Crown, which might comprise three or four millions of Jews, an event would have occurred in the history of the world which would, from every point of view, be beneficial, and would be especially in harmony with the truest interests of the British Empire.

Posted by: Melaleuca | May 27 2026 12:44 utc | 179

Churchill:

Zionism has already become a factor in the political convulsions of Russia, as a powerful competing influence in Bolshevik circles with the international communistic system.

Nothing could lie more significant then the fury with which Trotsky has attacked the Zionists generally, and Dr. Weissmann in particular.

The cruel penetration of his mind leaves him in no doubt that his schemes of a world-wide communistic State under Jewish domination are directly thwarted and hindered by this new ideal, which directs the energies and the hopes of Jews in every land towards a simpler, a truer, and a far more attainable goal.

The struggle which is now beginning between the Zionist and Bolshevik Jews is little less than a struggle for the soul of the Jewish people.

Posted by: Melaleuca | May 27 2026 12:46 utc | 180

Churchill:

Duty of Loyal Jews

It is patriculary important in these circumstances that the national Jews in every country who are loyal to the land of their adoption should come forward on every occasion, as many of them in England have already done, and take a prominent part in every measure for combating the Bolshevik conspiracy.

In this way they will be able to vindicate the honour of the Jewish name and make it clear to all the world that the Bolshevik movement is not a Jewish movement, but is repudiated vehemently by the great mass of the Jewish race.

But a negative resistance to Bolshevism in any field is not enough.

Positive and practicable alternatives are needed in the moral as well as in the social sphere; and in building up with the utmost possible rapidity a Jewish national centre in Palestine which may become not only a refuge to the oppressed from the unhappy lands of Central Europe, but which will also be a symbol of Jewish unity and the temple of Jewish glory a task is presented on which many blessings rest.

Angles are/were a germanic tribe, hence to the British there is the term ‘Anglicised’.

It would be naive to expect those outside UK to understand the differences, it is a form of local understanding and knowledge.

I mention it so that anyone doesn’t go too far off track, it being very easy to aggregate under a poor definition.

Holodomor”: Fact or Fiction
https://discomfiting.medium.com/holodomor-fact-or-fiction-17324ffe1d46

“Holodomor” refers to the claim of an “intentional man-made famine-genocide in Ukraine caused by Communist collectivization of the Soviet Union” or often times more specifically, of Stalin himself.

To begin, I will start with its origins.

Its origins are widely credited to a Welsh man named Gareth Jones.

Who was he? Jones before arriving in the Soviet Union in March of 1933, he was in naz! Germany.

In an article entitled, “WITH H!TLER ACROSS GERMANY” which was published on February 23rd of 1933, he outlines his experience flying on H!tler’s private plane along with other high ranking nazi officials such as Go-ebb-els.

In the piece he says of the naz! leaders, “There is nothing hard and Prussian about my fellow-passengers. They could not be more friendly and polite, even if I were a red-hot naz! myself.”

§|_ From “Fraud, Famine and Fascism: The Ukrainian Genocide Myth from Hitler to Harvard” by Douglas Tottle

Instead of being won over to supporting collectivisation, they [the kulaks] resisted collectivisation.
Louis Fischer observed: “I myself saw, all over the Ukraine in October 1932, huge stacks of grain which the peasants had refused to gather in and which were rotting. This I write was their winter’s food. Then those same peasants staved.” Mr Chamberlain has falsely interpreted the famine and some Americans have accepted his interpretation.

Yeah the “holodomor” is utter bullshit focus grouped late cold war propaganda.

In addition, and despite some people (i.e., Norman Naimark) saying “The Soviet Union made no efforts to provide relief”, reports show that the Central Soviet Authorities sent hundreds of thousands of tonnes of food aid to Ukraine.
In early February of 1933, Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk regions each received 3,300 tonnes of food aid.

By the end of February, the Dnipropetrovsk region received 20,000 tonnes of food aid, Odessa received around 13,000 tonnes, and Kharkiv received almost 5,000 tonnes. Reports document that from February to June in the year of 1933, over 500,000 tonnes of food aid was sent to Ukraine.

Holodomor”: Fact or Fiction
https://discomfiting.medium.com/holodomor-fact-or-fiction-17324ffe1d46

According to archived documents, Joseph Stalin himself, along with Molotov, personally took it upon themselves to scold Joseph Vareikis, First Secretary of the Voronezh Regional Committee of the CPSU, on March 31st of 1933 for his objection to sending 26,000 pounds of potatoes to the Donbass region of Ukraine.

These behaviors including, but not limited to, sending food aid and at that personally intervening to ensure food aid is being given, is fairly odd or strange behavior for, as the “holodomor-genocide” campaigners would say, a “genocidal maniac who wanted to kill Ukrainians”.

Truly, there was no reason for Stalin to go as far as personally intervening in that situation as he did to ensure food aid was sent to Ukraine if he was genuinely trying to create a famine to crush Ukraine.

Just to stick to the original subject : a cease-fire is just another workaround to not have an armistice and a definitive settlement.

That’s the reason why the Russians never signed something that was only a cease-fire. Just looks at the Minsk agreements : there was some clauses for the Banderistan to respect (hint : none was respected , zero , nada , zilch … the cease-fire part to begin with : it was always “the separatist” fault.)

So , what level of confidence can the Iranian have in a cease-fire ? Not much IMHO ; since DJT trowed the JCPOA in the dustbin of history, the signature of the US is worthless and you can’t even guaranty the US engagement with other parties or the UN (Hello Mr.US veto, how are you ?)
War it is then , one way or another until the US goes home and let the Zionist deal with the consequences. Problem for Bibi ? He’s not Gehlenskyi and there is no EU to save his ass , so he will also do anything he can for the US to stay engaged “as long as it take” … that means as long as the World economy don’t shit drastically to crisis mode.

I predicted this masquerade could last until the mid-terms … I will revise this prediction : we could stay in this half-peace & half war status-quo for longer. How long ? Don’t know ; we live in a Potemkin economy anyway , “as long the illusion hold” is the only answer I have for now.

The more I read about last century Ukraine…. the more Zelensky and his thugs make sense.
They are just the 2020s version of the Ukrainians who have always stolen from their fellows.

Holodomor”: Fact or Fiction
https://discomfiting.medium.com/holodomor-fact-or-fiction-17324ffe1d46

Stalin wrote on the 2nd of July of 1932 to Lazar Kaganovich and to Molotov regarding Kosior and Vlas Chubar stating :

Give the most serious attention to the Ukraine. Chubar’s corruptness and opportunistic essence and Kosior’s rotten diplomacy…and criminally frivolous attitude toward his job will eventually ruin Ukraine.

These comrades are not up to the challenge of leading the Ukraine today.

By this point, it is without a doubt that Stalin is aware of the situation and automatically began to critically evaluate and isolate the problems.

By August 1st of 1932, Stalin wrote, and quite poignantly & savagely, regarding Kosior that “Instead of leading the raions, Kosior keeps maneuvering between the directives of the CC CPSU and the demands of the raikoms — and now he has maneuvered himself into a total mess”.

Stalin continues, ripping into Chubar, stating that “Chubar is no leader.
Things are bad with the GPU […] Unless we begin to straighten out the situation in Ukraine, we may well lose Ukraine.”

I believe that mostly he was just dumb … because if he could have done better, in situations like Gallipoli, then he surely would have. At least, from a military standpoint Churchill was hopeless but he gave encouraging speeches and that made a difference. During the Boer War he learned to look the other way when atrocities were happening.

@173 johnf

“Then you, whose symphony of souls proclaim
Your kin to heav’n, add to your country’s fame,
And shew that music may have as good fate
In Albion’s glens, as Umbria’s green retreat;
And with Corelli’s soft Italian song
Mix Cowden Knows, and Winter Nights Are Long.
Nor should the martial Pibroch be despis’d;
Own’d and refin’d by you, these shall the more be priz’d.”

– Allan Ramsay, “To the Musick Club”1721

From: Sophisticated Laddie: Scottish Flute Music 1720-80 on a Stylistic Continuum.

Which takes a look at cultural realities during that period from a musical perspective.

It just came to mind.
