War On Iran: – Netanyahoo Blocked Imminent Deal

The short version of what happened over the weekend with regards to a deal with Iran:

Trump: “WE HAVE A DEAL”
Netanyahu: “Nope”
Trump: “Deal’s off”

The longer variant:

Trump’s attempt over Friday and Saturday to come to some deal with Iran has failed.

A few hours after Trump had announced a preliminary resolution of the conflict, his boss, one Benjamin Netanyahoo, called and inserted clauses designed to prevent a deal:

President Trump and I agreed that any final agreement with Iran must eliminate the nuclear danger. That means dismantling Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites and removing its enriched nuclear material from its territory.

President Trump also reaffirmed Israel’s right to defend itself against threats on every front, including Lebanon.

Iran’s supreme leader had rejected to move any enriched Uranian from Iran’s territory. Enrichment to Iran is a non negotiable right. The inclusion of a real ceasefire in Lebanon is also a prime condition for Iran to conclude any deal.

After the call Trump immediately changed course. The deal he had been eager to conclude hours earlier was suddenly no longer urgent.

Trump soon diverted attention by resorting to a new, mafia-like, scheme.

He threatened to (again) bomb Iran. Iran, he claims, would then retaliate against Arab U.S. proxies in the Gulf. To prevent that, Trump says, those proxy states should immediately sign a peace deal with Israel:

“Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are proceeding nicely! It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all — Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before — And nobody wants that!

During my discussions on Saturday with President Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of The United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, and Minister Ali al-Thawadi, of Qatar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, of Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of Türkiye, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, of Egypt, King Abdullah II, of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords.

If they don’t, they should not be part of this Deal in that it shows bad intention.

Therefore, I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords …

Of course none of those countries even replied to that nonsense.

A deal with Iran is (again) off the table. Meanwhile the severe damage of the conflict to the global and U.S. economy is accumulating  by the day.

Time is not on Trump’s side. He urgently needs a deal. But to get there he needs to get Netanyahoo off his back. How to do that is the really difficult question.

Comments

The GCC countries know that the US and Israel will not be able to protect them from total destruction this time around.

Iran, with China’s diplomatic/economic help, should take this opportunity to go for the big one: separate the separable GCC countries from the US orbit once and for all. From MBS to Qatar’s Emir, to Kuwait’s rulers, these people know the empire is pulling up stakes locally, will always put Iz first, and is already mostly milking them for $$$ and is unable to “protect” them like promised in the Cold War days …

They need to be encouraged to make that final move to realizing their investments in the “west” will not be long for this world anyway and move on to the new paradigm. Live in the world that is, not the world of their fathers … can they do that?

Good cop bad cop game.  The war is unpopular in the US, so Trump has to appear to be doing something to end it.  Bad cop Bibi won’t “let” him.

Please correct me if I’m wrong: all the NATO countries support Trump’s position (“no nukes, no control of Hormuz, all fellate circumcised Nazis”), despite some refusal to participate (e.g., Spain), which is merest pragmatism, since all of them are “results-oriented” psychopaths whose one and only rule is Obey or Die.

Netanyahu and Israel are in the position they are in b/c they have universal Western support. And that will only change because of gas prices, not from any NATO members suddenly discovering genocide bad. Questioning Ukraine or Israel policy is already criminalized. It’s a crime to try to help a certain island that the West (sic) is starving, like it’s a crime to “help an illegal” in the US.

via Israel, the West is universally reasserting its god-like authority to kill and plunder and destroy w/o question.

“But to get there he needs to get Netanyahoo off his back. How to do that is the really difficult question.”
Impossible without a social revolution, abolition of the billionaires, rendering private finance public property and putting every politician, news service and businessman that has ever previously supported genocidal Israel on trial with the death penalty.
This crisis can only be resolved by an organized revolutionary working class with a sound strategy for ending Capitalism and the Zio Imperialism it so very naturally it produces (see WW1 and WW2).
Let the genocidal misanthropes in their mom’s basements or Israeli coms offices, say what they like.  Workers of the world would uniformly support and join such a movement of American workers.
For the most dense: the slaves must unite to death to exterminate the masters and abolish their system of wage slavery (which is now wholly dominated by Zios).  There’s no mystery about the solution, there is only to commit to the goal and build the movement by any means necessary.

I this peace deal goes through and the Iranians are left with any ability to strike Israel Netanyahoo will nuke Iran. Israel is already an international parahia … the USA got away with nuking the japanese so why can’t the Israeli’s get away with nuking Iran? The world will be a little pissed at them for a few years but this is an existential threat and they are Gods chosen people after all.

There’s also that thing going on between US fundamentalist christians and conservative jews about the destruction of Iran being a harbringer of the battle of Armegeddon. There was the pep talk by military chaplins about such prior to hostilities against Iran and Hegseths weekly prayer meetings at the pentagon preaching such nonsense. Then there was the 4.2 magnitude  “earthquake” at Israel’s Dimona nuclear facility in January.

If Trump doesn’t do what he promised  Netanyahoo will do something of biblical proportions to Iran.

In Trump’s war against his own allies in Europe, time is unfortunately on his side, at least when it comes to energy. The United States is selling gas to the EU at a high price, which is (not so) slowly eroding the competitiveness of European industry. In Asia, the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is not good news either.

An image needs to be generated showing Netanyahu holding an Epstein Files gun to Trump’s head for that depicts what IMO is reality. The only way the Outlaw US Empire can alter the situation is to remove Trump from power which removes the loaded gun pointed at POTUS, provided Trump’s replacement has no such baggage. IMO, b has the Mafia reference backwards since its Netanyahu who’s clearly The Boss.

Iran needs to keep pumping Hezbollah with the materials to construct ever more FPV drones that have more power to carry bigger warheads. If you’ve seen Hezbollah videos of its FPV missions into Occupied Palestine, you’ve seen just how target rich that area is. Given Iran’s “offensive posture” of not being the aggressor but the retaliator, Hezbollah and the overall Resistance will need to operate independently of Iran in combatting the Zionists and Outlaw Americans. I know many barflies would like to see Iran be more offensive minded when it comes to destroying Zionists. It seems Iran is mimicking the Salami Slicing tactics of its enemies since they can’t refrain from attacking Iran. Will Trump try to extend the non-ceasefire ceasefire, or will he do something smart and lift the Blockade? Is Trump the frog in the pot of water that’s heating?

Posted by: karlof1 | May 25 2026 18:48 utc | 22

There is an easy solution. If Trump had a hair on his ass, he’d pack up the blood money he got from Adelson  in a crate, send it back and tell every traitorous member of Congress to return the loot or face impeachment. Then tell Israel to eat shit.

@ jmw

Succinct and entirely accurate.

I really can’t seem to understand why so many here, including b, think that the Empire can just walk away without getting what they came here for: Iran’s capitulation.

People in the west are not that stupid to not scratch their head and wonder why we started this war at all if nothing was gained.

Not to mention that the whole crumbling edifice of the western financial system is predicated on eliminating rivals so as to be the only game in town, thereby controlling the rules and having the ability to print money ad infinitum whilst managing inflation through forcing the purchase of our debt.

This was not a war of choice. We can not just leave.

Israel Rapes Everyone, And Other Notes

International flotilla activists say they were subjected to torture and sexual assault by Israeli forces after being abducted in international waters while attempting to bring aid to Gaza.

A statement from the Global Sumud Flotilla reports that the IDF held the activists on a makeshift “torture boat”, asserting that “At least 12 sexual assaults have been documented on that vessel alone, including anal rape and forcible penetration by a handgun.”

This comes after a New York Times report on Israel’s systemic use of sexual torture in its prison camps sent hasbarists howling in outrage for days, and after a Haaretz report on the Israeli military’s internal findings that sexual assault is soaring among its own ranks.

If you knew someone who was constantly being accused of rape by different people on a daily basis, at some point you’d have to conclude that that person is a rapist. When you see the Israeli military being constantly accused by people from all walks of life of using rape and sexual torture, you have to conclude that Israel is a rape country……

There was some discussion on the feasibilty of “Greater Israel”, centering on demographics etc.

What is being initially aimed for is not that (direct physical control and territorial ownership) . The aim is to align the governance of the region to US/”Israeli” hegemony, meaning “Israel” would be gatekeeper of policy, economic center of control, arbiter. This could be a decades long project, and eventually the populations discover they are all jews, or “Israelis” or SemiticUnion or whatever.

EU is a vety good template to how this sort of project is carried out, the timescales involved.

Although I do not pronounce this as foregone conclusion at all, others are less hesitant to explain their impression, out of despair if nothing else eg.:

“The painful truth is that Israel will be a major regional power and will have its say in the region and will implement its plans with almost complete support from the countries of the region.” Suhaib Al-Masalma

This sort of expansion is just not visible from outside the region, is subtle and integrates on various fronts, across various fronts. While the population are looking at one thing (say conflicts), the politicians are signing and implementing structural adjustments and legal formalities that even if disliked seem reasonable in other ways.

UAE is a prime example, but you would have to know the decades of preparation and alignments that have gone on to start to understand how one day it seems relatively independent, the next a center of attention, and the next near fully integrated into “Israeli” organisation. Jordan has a different history, Syria is more recent and more obvious, Kuwait goes back to gulf war, Iraq to invasion at least, Saudi to Desert Storm etc. , but always with background activity before, during, and after with the same aims, the pivots mentioned being where major impressions were made, public opposition breached and so on.

It is not consolidated at regional level however, and this is what we are seeing attempted now.

Posted by: Ornot | May 25 2026 19:12 utc | 33

peace=Zionist ownership and rule. there was no peace ever under Ottomans or anyone else. maybe the Hasmoneans were overthrown and then destroyed and expelled because they failed to sufficiently “exterminate the Amalekites” of their day, aka “bring peace”?

if only Israel would just kill people, instead of that and a whole lot more. a la the US in Iraq, Vietnam….but once Bibi gets the title deed to the temple mount, there will be PAX IUDAICA over all those oil fields. and all the Arab Israelis can get the fuck out of Israel, by force.

Iran should put in a minor addendum in the plan the US has drafted and which the persians presently are analysing, that the jews must also abandon their nukes, an eye for an eye. Fully understandable that the persians won’t agree to remove their 400 kilos of enriched uranium from their territory since it would more or less be a betrayal of all scientist working in the process and being assassinated by the jews, one after the other, in brutal and callous manners only a jew can set in motion.

B believes, and many “barflies” with him, that simply getting rid of Netanyahu will remove all obstacles to an agreement with Iran.

This is a mistake. Netanyahu is a willing scapegoat, accepting the use of his already hated name.

This agreement is rejected by many in Israel and the United States for what it represents: an admission of defeat and a renunciation, even temporary, of domination in the Middle East and elsewhere.

These are people who refuse to face reality and cling to their illusions, just as they believe they can maintain hegemony, even if the world must perish for it.

So it will be necessary to force or eliminate more than one person if this is the solution to moving towards peace.

Or to ensure that they truly, definitively have no choice.
Maybe some more Iranian long range missiles can help with “persuasion.”

I hasten to add most preppers with whom I have spoken generally don’t have a good answer to the question “have you tried turning off the mains electricity, gas and water to see how long you can last out?”.
Tight lipped silence often ensues.

Clearly, Israelis/Israeli-americans would gladly see Goyimstan [formerly know as the United States] slaughtered upon the alter of a “Greater-Israel” [or Lebensraum as Nazis termed their version of the Israeli concept].

Essentially, it comes down to a zero sum, either Goyimstan [formerly know as the United States] is destroyed by Israel or…drum roll please…Goyimstan [formerly know as the United States] destroys Israel.  TINA.

As many people here vocally seek the destruction of Goyimstan [formerly know as the United States] one presumes there will a lot of posts here rooting for the Israelis/Israeli-americans in this cage match…yes?

accepting the use of his already hated name.

It’s not his name. He is Mileikowsky. {and even that is an pseudonym}

How did Mileikovsky become Netanyahu?
Starting from his time in Palestine, Nathan Mileikovsky signed his publications with the pseudonym Netanyahu, which means “God has given”.

Later, this pen name became his official surname, which was given to the preacher’s children at birth.

In the family of one of his sons, Israeli historian Benzion Netanyahu, the future Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, was born.

“Netanyahu’s” grandfather was a zionist. Preaching Zionism first in Russia, then Poland and ending up in Jerusalem

Israel Lashes Out At Lebanese Civilians

https://x.com/DropSiteNews/status/2059017000773472659

“Israel, which has been getting hammered by daily Hezbollah FPV drone strikes on military sites and command centers, is lashing out by escalating attacks on Lebanese civilian areas as it struggles to contain the growing pressure from the north.

Video shows civilians buried beneath rubble after an Israeli strike hit a residential area overnight into Tuesday in southern Lebanon.

The attacks came amid one of the heaviest days of Israeli bombardment in months, with L’Orient Today reporting 85 air strikes across southern Lebanon in a single day on Sunday.”

@45 William

Thanks William.

It is funny, I always took Sakineh as male because of how stable or calm his (or her) presence is. Persiflo should know for sure I think, I looked up the name at one point and if I remember I guessed (possibly wrongly) that it was a historical reference, possibly Sakina Banu Begum, a Mughal princess.

I don’t tend to ask questions about who is actually posting but sometimes details are interesting, especially if historical and announced.

@43 Suresh

We would be guessing, the name or similar have various origins or histories, just for example:

“BAKOOM.—Mentioned by Ross as an Adnanite tribe of Nejd. Can
these be the Begoum of Taraba whom Brydges mentions as shewing determined
hostility to the Turks; or the Bagoom in whose country Doughty locates
Jebel Hatthon and who, he says, have settlements between Tayif and Wadi
Turraba ?”

Trump doesn’t want any “deal”, not one that Iran could ever accept.  This is all the same bs kabuki fake “negotiations” we see every single time.  Pretend to negotiate, then say “see, we tried, but Iran is just too unreasonable and therefore the war must be escalated”.  Or else, have Israel “block the deal” and attack first (with weapons and ISR and refuelling provided by US).  Seems many have already forgotten that on Feb 28, US attacked Iran during negotiations and immediately after Iran had agreed to some compromise on uranium enrichment.

,
peace=Zionist ownership and rule. there was no peace ever under Ottomans or anyone else.

,
,
<=IOT achieve peace in out nation state divided world you must deny authority to a nation state to violate human rights.

,
You can’t do that one nation at a time and you will never do it

without all of humanity participating in the development of an organization that protects humanity from the awesome powers of the nation state system.
I propose that something like the UN is the right type of organization to do that..A few big obstacles but not entirely impossible.

assuming humanity rises to the challenge.

,
I believe most of humanity would get behind a well planned proposal that entertained something like the following:
1. eliminate all input from a nation state no organization or government gets a veto or a vote.

2. arrange the voting power based on head count..

voting is for humans, not nation states.

so there will be many voting districts.

One vote for each 10,000 people. Un Census.

3.  no nation state has a vote. only humans no lobbyist

4. change the charter.

5. make the UN a licensing agency, it licenses nation states.

6. Define in legal terms human rights

7. UN licenses nation states to do business internationally, no one allowed to deal with an unlicensed nation state

8. Licenses are issued based on human rights defined in nation state charters and approved by the UN.

9. Licenses are revoked and suspended until cured and satisfactorily resolved.

10. the UN holds human rights courts.

11. any human anywhere in the world can force a human right prosecution against any nation state or nation state leader. (if the court finds probable cause, the license of the offending nation state is suspended)

12. All approved charters require all leaders of a nation state to step down (temporarily a complete change of government — much like when the bank examiners take over a bank replaced by UN appointed personnel) until revoked licenses are restored.

13. a condition of licensure requires nation states to pay a initial and annual fee (this supports the nation state system)
.
I don’t have all the answers. IMO, survival its going to take global action on the part of all humanity to protect humanity from the nation state system. Bottom-up  must find a way to make the nation states serve everyone equally and to deny the nations any authority to infringe on human rights

Thank you for your reply.

I was already familiar with the family history of the current Prime Minister of Israel, as well as his personal background.

But this individual needs to be referred to by some name, whether it’s Netanyahu, Mileikowsky, Bibi, or something else.

IMHO, attaching too much importance to an individual stems from a fascination with people onto whom we want to blame all the sins, and who end up even seducing and emulating others, Hitler being the most emblematic case.

Trump and Netanyahu are merely figureheads of a system that recognized itself in them to the point of bringing them to power, several times over, and that maintains them because they do the job.

Demonizing them individually amounts to exonerating the entire system, which will simply choose other loyal servants after them.

That is why I prefer to say “the USA” or “Israel” when talking about acts of state or war, while knowing that it is not the entire population of these countries.

And that is one of the things I pointed at in the B’s piece. It is not all about “Bibi.”
The American system, the Israeli system, the Empire system, the oligarchy system, don’t want to acknowledge the defeat in Iran.

There are going to oppose any deal that make it obvious, until they have no other choice.

What Arab Nation with any brains at all, can’t figure out Israel want them dead.
Failing that, then Israel wants the US to attack Iran, thereby triggering Iran to attack any GCC country assisting the lying, cheating Yanks and Israelis.
Iran must insist Israel remove all their nuclear weapons and research. Otherwise, within hours, days, weeks, a few years, once Uncle Schlomo and Izzy think they can kill Iran, this will start right back up again.

You are right, good post.  The problem I see is that most people are not really capable of seeing the big picture of “the system” and also have short memories, therefore they focus on the perfidious individuals who, at any moment, are the faces of these big systems.  Of course, the media (including much of “alt media”), promotes this shallow and personalized understanding of events.  More clicks, more to talk and argue about on a daily basis.

Posted by: J dubbya | May 25 2026 23:04 utc | 91

@78 Sebgo

On the other hand, a large part of any or various population take the leader as their cue. A change of leader does mean a wider change of direction and mood. Granted, not necessarily for the better, and this can be nothing more than a tool for, or a distraction from, the system behind; but still it remains that to take down an unwanted leader is also a method to effect change.

For some it will simply be because they think any particular person should not receive pride of place, should not receive attention, should not be set as an example. These are all valid motives.

That is a valid and perceptive addition to what Sebgo said above.  For some people, focusing on the perfidious individuals who are actuating the big systems’ goals is all they are capable of seeing.  And that is important to.  Can’t ignore the perfidious individuals and only focus on the big systems.

When you have a hierarchy of oligarchs and those at the top of the pile, because of historical and other reasons [Hi Pope Bob!], are bigger than nations, you have the basis for the show we are watching…..the top/bottom West.

But humanity is watching an inversion of the oligarchs being bigger than the nation China and continuing to operate….research Jack Ma.

Do you want a world in which historical and aspiring oligarchs make public policy or national governments that eliminate private finance and don’t let oligarchs get too big for humanity’s britches.

And on we go….
