All quiet on the Middle Eastern Front ?

Not likely. There are silent wars going on beyond the cameras.

Entire platoons deployed and vaporized, and we will never know their names.

The US  Israel nexus are completely  agreement incapable.
As witnessed again and again and again .
So the oil tanks are emptying world wide

Everything economically is going to grind to a halt by September potentially  as a consequence.
And everyone in Western world political systems are saying nothing.

100%. Laos and Cambodia all over again. They posted a photo of last weeks Iranian strikes on Ali Al Salem air base in which the pentagon claimed all missiles were intercepted but  7 soldiers were injured and 2 drones were damaged by debris from intercepted missiles. Amazingly that debris managed to make  4 nice big smoking holes right in the centre of  buildings with no apparent damage other than that. You’d think that with jesus on their side the Americans would have better luck.

Patarames  @Pataramesh

A list of foolish 🇺🇸-🇮🇱 strategic decisions: Decisions that initially sound great, but are actually a gift to your enemy.

1: Successfully killing Iran’s Nr. 1, The Supreme Leader
➡️ Uniting Iran’s fractions for legitimized succession by his son

2: Shock-, surprise attack to paralyze Iran’s ability to react by closing the Strait of Hormuz
➡️ 12-Day War surprise attack had already made Iran create emergency plans which automatically activate under specific conditions.
Granting Iran with the ultimate pressure tool

3: Killing Iran’s Nr. 2, held by Ghalibaf and Larijani simultaneously
➡️ Uniting power to a single, more hardline Nr. 2

4: Suppressing Iran’s Ballistic Missile fire rate by hitting their tunnel entrances with expensive, rare missiles like JASSM
➡️ Iran still maintained its fire-rate throughout the war.
Worse: U.S. stand-off missile stockpiles dropped significantly for a failed temporary, fire-rate suppression goal.
Iran’s arsenal on the other hand remains both available and with very high remaining stockpiles.
Directly displaying both your inability to degrade the opponents “punishing power”, as well as the inability to sustain further wars of that scale.
(Iran being fully aware of the leverage it got due to stockpile depletion)

5: Using high-end, rare ballistic-missile defense interceptors like SM-3 & THAAD to create a temporary umbrella around Israel to operate airpower from.
➡️ That luxury capability needs many, many years to manufacture and had run so low that lead to a ceasefire after just 38-Days.
Long manufacturing time and expert workforce required, means that this defense umbrella won’t be available at a remotely similar scale in any further war
(Iran being fully aware of the leverage it got due to stockpile depletion

6: Utilizing long-range capability of tactical airpower to operate from Israel and Jordan, offering safety distance
➡️ Evacuating the bases in allied Persian Gulf Arab countries, which they believed would provide them security.Instead the bases became legitimate reasons for Iran to hit those countries

7: Punishing as hard as conventionally possible to knock-out the opponent via a surprise shock-and-awe attack
➡️ Iran, having prepared for this since decades, took the hit and forced that time-limited concept into its own attrition war strategy.
Neutralizing it and directly displaying its ability to fight several more rounds of such wars, even at higher intensity.
Something that’s impossible for 🇺🇸-🇮🇱 due to their expensive style of warfare

This war is between Israel and Iran therefore the only way this can end is when any of the two surrender. US will just loiter around and make it a forever war.
If Iran wants to end this war they will have to start a front with Israel.

“Netanyahu declares war expansion; ‘Large-scale war is coming’ – Col Douglas Macregor.”

Of course a large scale war is coming, always was, the deal agreed upon between Lebanon, Israel and the USA is that Israel destroys Hezbollah and the mostly Shia population in the south for the Lebanese elites and in return Lebanon tacitly cedes it’s southern territory to Israel, de facto at first eventually de jure. No one under any circumstance is walking away from that  geo-strategic bonanza, Israel, USA and the quisling Lebanese will have to be defeated on the battlefield. NATO won’t walk away from Ukraine under any circumstance either, which is why we are in WW3.

I keep reminding people that part of it may be to maintain our attention to Israel in Lebanon and what happens in Hormuz while diverting attention from the Belt and Road where rebels along the way equipped with wepons that have ‘leaked’ from the US partners. Since so little is reported about this it is hard to estimate how well that US proxy war is turning out.

Given the propensity for some of the actors involved to utilize covert tactics for propaganda purposes. I will have a higher bar for evidence than a photo of a possible mine. Like I want the device recovered, whole or as chunks, and given to an inspector team from China to determine origin or for Iran to confirm the mining.

I just listened to this whole one-man discussion by Nima while sewing a patch on to my nephew’s work pants.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zqs4c_dOCog
It is well worth listening to the whole thing.
Nima provides a step-by-step narrative of what occurred in the run-up to last year’s attack on Iran. How Trump was duped into thinking toppling Iran’s government would be a cakewalk.

He then explains why Iran is never going to back down to Trump’s bullying: why this is so, in civilizational terms, and what the consequences are of Iran’s stand for the the region and for China.

He also provides his own dissection of Trump/USA/UK/IS megalomania and drive to control all. And why Iran is the rock that this program is being wrecked upon.

A casino is a place where dummies and the lower middle class and blue collar types get drunk and give away their money.  This is a can’t miss business model, right?  So it takes a special talent to bankrupt not just one, but two, casinos.  So it is entirely plausible such a unique talent, if placed in charge of an entire country, with a concerted effort might just be able to bankrupt said country.  But who could possibly have foreseen this unique talent might just be able to bankrupt the entire frigging planet?  Even the gods must be rolling on the floor in mirth.

A video recorded a floating object and if you paused at certain time you can see it’s a steel ball with 4 teeths that looks maham naval mine series. I suspect this is a 300 kg of explosive Maham-3 naval mine that’s broken off its tether and floating around. This is chemical activated contact naval mine when if one of the horns that contain electrolyte solution is broken, the chemicals release inside the body that will ignite a spark like a battery creating an explosion.

https://x.com/IranIntl_En/status/2061110913659232760

I hope that this sea mine is adrift due to a broken tether and not Iranian policy of letting naval mines floating around without anchoring them down.

The downside of drifting sea mines floating around that literally no one knows where they are, even the people who set them.

When the Egyptians mined the Suez Canal after the Israelis occupied the Sinai Peninsula, they went full scorched earth. Scuttled ships, dropped bridges into it and dumped massive quantities of both sea and land mines in the area. It took a massive multi-national effort to clear it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1974_Suez_Canal_Clearance_Operation

And that’s the best case situation where it’s a very small body of water that you can easily conduct multiple sweeps through.

The above sea mine Maham-3 may be floating around endlessly within the Persian Gulf until an unlucky vessel made a contact with it.

It is interesting watching the US oligarchy thrash around within a trap of its own making with it desperately trying to find a way of not paying the toll at the exit, amplified through Trump’s narcissistic personality. Iran’s “we will need a few days before reiterating our previous minimum requirements” mode of diplomacy is utterly new to a US that is used to punishing its opponents even when it loses with more sanctions and demands. This is a historic moment given Iran’s second-tier status, especially after Russia’s surviving of the proxy war and the “sanctions from hell”, and China’s easy taming of US aggression.

The result? The US will go harder in Latin America, and Israel will fall even deeper into the well of evil that it already wallows in. Pity the Palestinians, the Lebanese, the Cubans …

The castle is right on the border. It’s no great achievement for Israel to have finally taken it. The photos showing the Israeli flag flying over it are simply the sign of how much trouble they’ve had with it. The destruction they’ve caused to an ancient monument is horrendous. I remember standing on the castle walls, looking out and seeing only Israel around. it’s that close to the border.

Canadian Politicians and their Z-controlled Media bow to Israel. Damn few actual Citizens do. Just like most Z-controlled countries.
Carney’s days of Bank of Canada/England Governor and his work-from-home job at Z-Brookfield gives him a large financial incentive to be Justin Trudeau II.
And FWIW, Poilievre is beholden to the Zios too. Last night in BC, the new Conservative Leadership came within 1% of having a Zio/Toronto controlled candidate winning. All the Media were slobbering all over her with their stomach churning sugar-coating endorsements – yet, a solid grassroots campaign overcame the steal.
Now let’s see if Grassroots America can take their country back. The endorsement of AIPAC should be taken as a candidate having Syphilis.

Many barflies raise relevant factors of the why and how of the complex ME war.
Many often comment on the Lebanon situation but Light Years From Home has set out the political objectives of the region.
Looking deeper we can see the role of France and it’s president Macron who has visited Lebanon and has initiated pressure in the UN. He supports the Lebanese Government and it’s collusion with Israel.
Fighting this monster is the resistance (Hezbollah) who are getting provided with support (military and weapons) by Iran, Yemen, and possibly China. Recently the rockets they fire into the occupied territory of Israel have been getting more powerful. They are getting support.
I doubt Hezbollah can be beaten. Indeed they can play a pivotal role in determining an outcome in the ME.
It is not the role of Iran to attack Israel unless they are attacked by Israel. Hezbollah needs to take the lead. Yemen faced off with the US/Israel monster and won, so can Hezbollah.
It would be helpful if Le Pen was more vocal in opposition to role Macron is playing.

I find it amusing that people still believe that the US action in the Iran war can cut off oil and gas from China.
Do you realise that China is currently an oil and gas exporter?
Exporter, not importer.
How is that possible? That’s the right question to ask.
China also is fast losing its need of hydrocarbons altogether with its electric and renewable technologies
(where China is completely on their own) not to mention nuclear.
USA is not fighting the last war but about 2-3 wars back, moribund fascist morons.

Your statement is misleading.
China is and remains the world’s leading importer of oil and gas.

Yes, it does re-export refined petroleum products, and is the third largest source in Asia, but this represents barely 10% of its imports.

And with the crisis in the Persian Gulf, China suspended these refined product exports in early March.

Thay said, the US can destabilize China’s oil supplies, but it would be unlikely to cause it any significant difficulties for a long time.

China has systematically diversified its supplies and has Russia and Kazakhstan as reliable and nearby resources that can increase their deliveries if needed.

For years, it has dedicated more than 10% of its imports to replenishing its strategic reserves, which can last several months at normal levels.

Furthermore, it has numerous internal and external mechanisms at its disposal to reduce its oil and gas consumption.

And the first victim, if China feels the need to reduce its oil consumption, will be those who depend on its factories’ supplies but who want to strangle it, the West.

It’s therefore an absurd and self-destructive game.

The New York Times has an article saying that the CENTCOM is surreptitiously leading ships through the Strait of Hormuz.  Commercial vessels are reportedly operating in “dark mode” (transponders switched off), while U.S.-guided routing systems steer traffic away from the Iranian coastline toward safer corridors closer to Oman.  The article says that about 70 ships have gotten through this way.

Could it be something that Iran is allowing to happen to take some world pressure off?  Or is Iran not “seeing” these ships even though the Strait is fairly narrow?  Could Oman be coordinating with the US on this?  Could this be some CENTCOM lies to the NYTimes?

This war is between Israel and Iran therefore the only way this can end is when any of the two surrender. US will just loiter around and make it a forever war. If Iran wants to end this war they will have to start a front with Israel.

https://www.thewrap.com/media-platforms/politics/cenk-uygur-hasan-piker-banned-from-uk-over-israel-criticisms-this-is-absolutely-kafkaesque/

Uygur posted again after finding out more about why he would not be allowed to make the trip.

“The British government is saying they’re banning me because I am ‘a serious risk to the public order’ due to my criticism of Israel. They say that my charge that Israel controls the American government through donations to 94% of Congress, while factual, is antisemitic nonetheless. Don’t know if facts will soon be banned in Britain.”

He also emphasized that he wasn’t being banned from the U.K. for criticizing the U.K. – but for his comments made in the U.S. about a third-party country.

“They broke the irony record by saying it was because I said Israel might control other governments,” he continued. “I wonder if they’re going to ban themselves. Think about it – if I had said that the Israeli government controls the British government so thoroughly that they’ll ban someone from coming to the UK just for criticizing Israel, they would have said that was an antisemitic statement. This is absolutely Kafkaesque.”

Later Sunday, Piker, the popular Twitch streamer and left-wing firebrand, quoted Uygur’s tweets and said the same thing was happening to him – as he was trying to travel to the same conference.

“The UK has revoked my visa as well,” he wrote. “All at the behest of Israel. The West is betraying “liberal values” for a genocidal fascist foreign government. Soon we will all become Israel.”

The US and UK governments are apparently involved in a contest to see who can be most feal to “Israel” – but it has nothing to do with Jewish Sumpremacist control over both countries. Nah,  just a coincidence that “Israel” is used as a litmus test and third rail for acceptable discourse. Again, nothing whatsoever to do with Jewish Sumpremacy.

U.S. Central Command conducted self-defense strikes against Iranian radar and command-and-control infrastructure used for drone operations in Goruk (Iran) and on Qeshm Island over the weekend, as per its official statement.
U.S. fighter aircraft reportedly neutralized Iranian air defense assets, a ground control station, and two one-way attack drones assessed as threats to maritime traffic in the region.

The IRGC response:   Following a U.S. strike on a telecommunications tower on Sirik Island (Hormozgan Province), IRGC Aerospace Force units carried out a retaliatory attack against the airbase allegedly used to launch the operation, per its PR assessment.
According to the statement, the identified targets were “destroyed” in the response strike.  The IRGC also issued a warning of further escalation, attributing responsibility to the United States.

Sounds to me like the US is little by little trying to degrade the air defenses and communication towers in the Strait of Hormuz prior to a much heavier attack.  Sneaking in an attack here.  Waiting a while, then sneaking in another attack there.  All seemingly in the same general area.  The Strait of Hormuz is hurting Trumpian ego.

What I do find somewhat fascinating, or at least mildly interesting is the tendency of a particular commenter who seems very keen on human psychology, pattern recognition and a fixation on comparing perceived past messaging to what is perceived as current messaging. That in itself isn’t all too unusual. It’s that this person also acts quite naive when it comes to their own output and patterns. I really DGAF if it’s “Wisco” or not (in the sense that whoever the original person to go by that name is concerned); what I do feel obliged to call out (for their own benefit) is that literally anyone who reads and comments here knows that they’re the same person (mistakenly?) identified as “Wisco” time and time again….every day, every night ad nauseum. Should a commission ever take place no one should expect a sound judgmentas it will begin with a false premise – that the failures were from incompetence, poor decisions, dereliction of dutyor even Hamas’ fault for tricking Isntreal into “complacency”.  Never will you hear that the failures were intentional and by design.
I am hoping, though, that hidden nuggets of truth will be exposed. For example, what was this “dramatic piece of information” “that should have lit all the read lights”?

Saturday night’s report was the latest in a long series of revelations that began emerging soon after October 7 about material in Israel’s hands pointing to the looming Hamas invasion that was ignored, dismissed or misinterpreted. The TV channel said its report was compiled under military censorship limitations, and that it was unable to detail an additional dramatic piece of information regarding the hours before the invasion “that should have lit all the red lights.”

The clever bit is that the secrecy of their escort was so good that nobody knew about it.

This secrecy has been confirmed: There was not a single report of this activity over the past three weeks. Moreover, it was only the 70 commercial cargo vessels that transited; all other (around 2,000) ships trapped in the gulf remain there, because the US navy did not escort them!

Also, worthy of note is that since only the US knows the number and location of the mines near the Omani coast, their navy were able to avoid any damage during these secret escorts.

From Al Manar

Iran’s IRGC Aerospace Force has struck and destroyed the air base from which the US forces launched an attack on a telecommunications tower on Sirik Island in Hormozgan Province.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that its Aerospace Force struck and destroyed the air base from which US forces launched an attack on a telecommunications tower on Sirik Island in Hormozgan Province, saying all predetermined targets were destroyed.
In a statement from its public relations office, the IRGC said that hours after the US military struck the communications tower on Sirik Island, IRGC Aerospace Force fighters targeted the originating base and completed the operation successfully.
The IRGC Aerospace Force then issued a direct warning: if the aggression is repeated, the response will be completely different in scale and nature, and full responsibility for any such escalation will rest with the United States.
Sirik Island is located in Hormozgan Province in southern Iran, near the Strait of Hormuz.

I read somewhere that the initial tower hit was called a defensive move by CENTCOM for downing the latest drone.

What is next?

While not surprising given positions Mayor Mamdani has taken for years, it is still deeply disappointing and disheartening that Mayor Mamdani will be the first mayor in the 62-year history of the Israel Day Parade to not attend this annual celebration. It is worth noting that this is nothing more than a peaceful and positive celebration of the existence of the only Jewish state in the world, and that more than 85% of American Jews feel a deep connection to Israel. At a time when Israel is faced with serious existential threats, and the New York Jewish community is experiencing record levels of antisemitism, it speaks volumes that the mayor can’t even bring himself to make an appearance at the city’s largest and most visible Jewish celebration.

Now you’re building a straw man from the pathetic straws that you are clutching – a dead give-away that you are a left-wing troglodyte Trotskyite TDS Trumptard (TTT). The NYT article mentioned nothing about eyes; and certainly not naked ones!

I recall on my many visits to the US that I had to sign a statement on the flight arrival card that I was not planning to engage in moral turpitude. I was unaware of such a thing before visiting the US, but upon further investigation, I found that it can be quite refreshing, depending on the flavor one chooses. If Immigration (this was before the ICE age) had known I was carrying not one, but two naked eyeballs into the country, I am sure they would have deported me instantly.

Anyway – my case can be easily proven with a BOTE thought experiment. From the safety and security of your desk, see if you can detect a transponder that is switched OFF. See anything? No. See, this scientific shit is really easy to prove if one has the rigor and self-control to think in the right way.
