The only real escalatory option the US has left is to switch from its peevish, porous fake “blockade” to a real blockade which seeks to prevent any oil from leaving Iran. If necessary the US can still obliterate Iran’s energy infrastructure. Iran can only hit back at the Gulf countries, but the entire Mideast is expendable from the Empire’s point of view.

(That includes the physical state of “Israel”. The Zionists, homeless vagrants at heart, have already long been scouting terrain for a new “homeland” elsewhere and don’t care about any particular piece of land.)

My own Magic 8 Ball tells me that there will NOT be any major military attacks on Iran by the US this weekend.  It is Memorial Day Weekend, the start of the busy summer travel season and fuel prices are already seen as too high by most Americans.

Posted by: prognostication | May 21 2026 7:15 utc | 5

Looking for logic, one will always lag behind Mossad’s producers and directors, who take world as their stage, and kill millions.
Once we understand that Trump as Netanyahu (and Zelensky and even Putin) is Chabad who wants destruction, we know why they want Iran and Yemen – they did not worship Baal, unlike Arabian kingdoms.
And our all comes fine for 2030, you will own nothing and live in digital prison.

Massive AIS spoofing activity is occurring in the Persian Gulf northwest of Dubai right now, with hundreds of ships transmitting false positions in the same coordinates. The same spoofing is happening simultaneously with aircraft transponders in the same location, per MarineTraffic and Flightradar24 data.

This dual-system spoofing pattern has historically preceded major military strikes shortly after and is the signature of pre-strike electronic warfare preparation.

The Ottoman Empire took control of the Palestine region in 1516 following the decisive Battle of Marj Dabiq. Sultan Selim I led the conquest against the Mamluk Sultanate, officially bringing the region into the empire by January 1517. This Ottoman rule lasted for exactly four centuries until the British conquered the territory in 1917 during World War

Not that he always attacks, it is always more about mad threats on Friday followed by TACOs on Tuesday as you would know. In the meantime stock trades continue to be used to gain favours, and make money for insiders including himself.

I doubt if he will attack; what would he achieve other than cause further deteriorations and damage to US forces (when it hasn’t worked before) and it’s also Haaj Pilgrimage starting on Sunday May 24/25th (2-3 million pilgrims) in Mecca which would only serve to turn Saudi Arabia further against the US. He’s shifting his distractions towards Cuba now with Trumped-up charges against Raul Castro who is no longer the country’s leader for no particular reason other than to surely please Rubio, and create headlines.

At the time of the Ottoman takeover in 1516–1517, the Jewish population in the Palestine region is estimated to have been roughly 5,000 individuals. This accounted for approximately 1.5% to 2% of the region’s total estimated population.

So much for bs it was always “our” precious sacred land a gift direct from God.   The island of Crete is a current highly sought destination for homeless vagrants with stolen wealth to burn.

Even the Jewish Virtual Library suggest that at the outset of the Ottoman era, there were roughly 1,000 Jewish families spread across the region. The majority of these minority inhabitants lived in urban clusters within the cities of Jerusalem, Gaza, Safed, Hebron, and Nablus, along with a few small villages in Galilee.

The images published by Itamar Ben Gvir with the brave activists from the Freedom Flotilla are according to western regimes “shocking” and “unacceptable.”

Ya don’t say? Shocking?

Where has this outrage been for the past three years while entire Palestinian bloodlines were erased from existence? Where was this moral panic when Lebanese villages were flattened, when children were pulled out from under rubble in pieces, when hundreds of thousands in Gaza were slaughtered by terrorist Israelis while the so-called civilized world debated whether their lives were even worth acknowledging?

The truth is brutally simple: the world only rediscovers its humanity when the victims are white Westerners.

For Palestinians? For Lebanese? Humiliation, torture, starvation, rape inside Zionist prisons, daily massacres, mass graves, burned hospitals, dead journalists, amputated children, orphaned families… all of that is treated as background noise. As if Arab suffering is somehow expected. Normalized. Acceptable.

The problem was never that the Zionists suddenly became monstrous. They have been showing the world exactly what they are for decades.

The real sickness is a global system that only calls evil “evil” when it finally reaches people it considers human enough to matter.

Aside from that hypocrisy… every decent human calls for the freedom for the #FreedomFlottilla2026 while equally calling for the dismantling of terrorist Israel for being a cancerous colonial force of genocide.

The problem you present suggest

There is a need to deny all nation states any authority to infringe on human rights.

What kind of global structure will be needed to accomplish that one simple goal?  How can those structures be put in place?

Nothing.   It takes power to enforce anything, including human rights.

And if those human rights are obtained, the humans find a way to stop appreciating what they have, and then squander, abuse, and lose them.

there is no solution to the human condition.

The Russian borderland was being considered for a new Khazar homeland once cleansed of its current inhabitants. Zelensky and others have said so, and it’s one theory which fully explains the understanding that seems to exist between the Empire and the Russian leadership. They fully agree on the cleansing of the kokhols as a primary war goal. (Which is the only way to make sense of the doctrinaire Go-Slow strategy, where even opportunistic accelerations are ruled out.) But since Iran has demonstrated proof of principle beyond any doubt, that Russia can counterattack NATO the same way and drive the Empire out of Europe any time it chooses, the Zionists may no longer consider the Borderland a good location, since they’d then have to switch to dependency on Russia. (Though they’ll do that if they have to.)

Argentina and Latin America sound like the best location, as being in the western hemisphere (to which the Empire is retrenching) and the southern (which will probably be better in case there is a general nuclear war in the north).

I dont take  seriously anything that Trump and Netanyahu are quoted for. It is a theatre and the US is to sound more heldback and the Proxy Israel is to sound more aggressive. Just like it is formulated in the policy documents. But the US isnt heldback at all. It is busy fighting China Russia and so on and hoping you wont notice while attention is on Iran. It is going on multiple fronts. Russia takes the beating from Ukraine for now but might hit some key buildings in the EU.

Of course as long as Russia doesnt destroy targets in the US the US wont stop.

O.o 😮 Imagine all the birdseed one could get with all that pre-war strike insider trading!

😉 But then I’d just get fat trying to eat as much as I could and become unable to fly back to my nest amid safe, cozy branches. At some point all these ill-gotten gains avails you of no greater life benefit. It must be a spiritual disorder to persist this way, especially profiting off the death of other fellows. 🙂 I’d say they could use prayers, or maybe a dangerous predator to hunt them down in their obese crapulence.

😀 Well, humans here might be better served filling up the tank on Friday and keeping the 3-day Memorial Day weekend to a modest backyard barbeque affair. 🙂 If you serve yummy things for me and my friends I just may hop on down and join you. Yes, even if you put raisins in the potato salad — I’m not likely going to eat that anyway.

The “new Khazaria”, is already bought up by Blackrock, Vanguard and Cargill (the latter, I am less sure of). They will want their “holdings” to make money on, particularly the minerals etc, now under Russian control. This before any “Izmmigrants” come in to take over. ie, the land has been “organised”, since Zelensky allowed foreigners or foreign companies to buy. This was not legally allowed before he took power.

Do they want the land or simply the control over it? There is still a Chabad (War) presence/HQ, definitely at Dnipro, which may have something to do with Putin’s “slow step” of the SMO. Which has yet to be explained, but it is fair to say that the attritional aspect against both Ukraine, and NATO at the same time seems to be working.

U.S. negotiations with Iran aimed at curbing Tehran’s nuclear program were widely seen as an important way to preserve regional peace. They ended up being the perfect cover for a surprise Israeli attack.

b offered the above. I liked b’s comment, the WSJ article itself is bogus.
The article fails to mention that it was a breakthrough! at the negotiations that forced forward Israel’s timetable for murder. What Zios feared most was peace with Iran.
The legacy media messes with us, as no one denies; yet, we (including myself) are susceptible to their tricks. Was it your sense too, that the February nuke negotiations between the US and Iran produced nothing. That was my general sense, and that is what the legacy media sold us.
Yet, it is amazing that there was actually a huge breakthrough two days before Israel attacked Iran.
Israel had an urgency to attack Iran on that date, including assassinating Ali Khamenai, on Feb 28, 2026,becausethere had been a major breakthrough in nuclear talks between the US and Iran on Feb 26th.Peace with Iran would be a disaster from the viewpoint of Zionists.According to Oman’s foreign minister Badr Al Busaidi, the mediator of the talks:—————————————–https://x.com/badralbusaidi/status/20270897083925795761:33 PM · Feb 26, 2026Badr Albusaidi – بدر البوسعيدي@badralbusaidi

We have finished the day after significant progress in the negotiation between the United States and Iran. We will resume soon after consultation in the respective capitals. Discussions on a technical level will take place next week in Vienna. I am grateful to all concerned for their efforts: the negotiators, the IAEA, and our hosts the Swiss government.

——————————————-And the mediator of the talks, Oman’s foreign minister Badr Al Busaidi, had much more to say the next day, Feb 27th, on CBS’ program, Face The Nation.Read the whole thing.

MINISTER ALBUSAIDI: Because if the ultimate objective is to ensure forever that Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb, I think we have cracked that problem through these negotiations by agreeing a very important breakthrough that has never been achieved any time before. And I think if we can capture that and build on it, I think a deal is within our reach.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/full-transcript-omani-foreign-minister-badr-albusaidi/
archived:https://archive.ph/6PrEV————————————-It is vital to note that the negotiations acted in Israel’s favor if it wanted to assassinate Ali Khamenai.
Oman’s foreign minister Badr Al Busaidi posted on X: “We will resume soon after consultation in the respective capitals.”
After a “breakthrough in negotiations” it would compel the important Iranian players to meet and discuss asap.

The assassination of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was the culmination of decades of painstaking intelligence gathering by Israeli secret services, with crucial technological resources and manpower provided over the last six months by the CIA and other US intelligence services, which culminated in a single concentrated burst of lethal violence to decapitate the Iranian regime, according to experts, veteran spies and officials in Israel and the US.Khamenei was killed along with seven “members of the top Iranian security leadership who had gathered at several locations in Tehran” and about a dozen members of his family and close entourage in near-simultaneous strikes within 60 seconds, military officials in Israel said. Forty other senior Iranian leaders also died in the attack.

The treachery of Israel, the dishonor of the Trump administration and the complicity of the legacy media should takes one’s breath away.

This is simple.

Iran won.

US lost. Bigly.

It will never be admitted. Never. I will never say in US meatspace that US lost in Vietnam because I might get punched in the face. Or worse. I  will suspect Trumpy knows we have lost and am certain no one has said this to his face.

Iran is being patient. They can finish this whenever they choose. They can destroy remaining US bases in region and they can finish off the colonial project in Palestine.  They know they will never, never get US to admit a defeat. US primary defense at this point is acting crazy. Just like Nixon’s madman theory half a century ago. Iran and Russia (in Ukraine) are giving US time to get used to the idea no one cares any longer when they swing their dick. Or the world just laughs at the retard who imagines exposing his privates impresses anyone.

UAE Billionaire Unleashes Blistering Attack on Trump https://x.com/timand2037/status/2057431184129274090 “Who gave you the authority to drag our region into a war with Iran? And on what basis did you make this dangerous decision?’ he continued in his X post. ‘The peoples of this region have the right to ask as well: Was this your decision alone? Or did it come as a result of pressures from Netanyahu and his government?’ he asked…” Of course he already knows.

The UAE is highly dependent on desalination plants. In particular, the capital, Abu Dhabi, will be dead meat if its desalination plants are ruined by Iranian missiles/drones.
It is Israel’s war. Trump is their fool.

Hear, hear. I nominate this as today’s fortune cookie, but will note the theorem is not yet complete. What to do with those that are less fortunate cognitively and can’t defend against the mainstream bullshit? ⇢ Those who possess mental acuity should always be wise and benevolent custodians in their interactions; this extends to down to nature. ☝️🥸

I will attempt to prove this lofty statement by applying a Chinese proverb: Those who can, must.

Paul Erdman’s 1976 novel The Crash Of 79 is about a nuclear-armed Pahlavist Iran launching a nuclear war to re establish the Sassanid Empire by capturing the entire littoral of the Persian Gulf. It treats Iranians in general, and the Shah in particular, with absolute contempt. Since it was written when the Shah’s grip on power seemed unassailable, I can only imagine that the attitude of the author (and of the readers who rated the book highly) was one of anti Iranian  racism, not anti “Ayatollah”/”mullah”/”terrorist regime”/whatever other canard du jour.

“TEHRAN (Sputnik) – Twenty-six vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours, the naval forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Wednesday.”

Did US intercepted any of them?

Had a good discussion with Gemini about this post, and here are the main takeaways.

The Twist: Game Theory and “Telegraphing”
In intelligence, there is a concept known as Telegraphing. If the US and Israel know that Iran knows the pattern, the predictability changes the math:
1 The Feint: They might deliberately create the “Memorial Day Weekend” setup to force Iran to burn resources and scramble assets, only to do nothing—blunting the effectiveness of Iran’s readiness for when a real, unexpected attack comes.
2 The Double-Bluff: They might attack precisely when predicted, banking on the idea that the sheer speed and technological weight of the strike will overwhelm defense systems, regardless of whether Iran expects it.
So while Bernhardt’s blog points out a incredibly sharp observation, it ultimately highlights a high-stakes chess match where all the grandmasters on both sides are looking at the exact same board.

[Posted by: Otto Penn | May 21 2026 13:22 utc | 57]

There’s zero reason to believe that Iran has actually mined it. It could very easily do so and has repeatedly demonstrated that ability with speedboat  swarms buzzing around the Straits but

  1. So far there’s no evidence of mining whatever
  2. There is no reason for Iran to actually mine Hormuz unless as a last minute barrier against a naval invasion, as it would then need to remove the mines after the conflict is over
  3. Iran’s threat to mine Hormuz is as effective as actually mining it.

You could have added that the US/UK brought the madman Khomeini to power and he closed the (32?) nuclear projects. He only became Ayatollah through the interference by the British ambassador without which Khomeini would have been executed in the 1960s. This does not imply lack of respect for other parts of the Iranian establishment. But it does remind about how the west brings weird religion instead of science and technology. Because the Muslim Brotherhood generally is a form of weird religion not created naturally by Muslims but by western academia, freemasonry and western agents.

The Trump administration is threatening to revoke visas for the Palestinian delegation to the United Nations unless Palestinian Ambassador Riyad Mansour withdraws his candidacy for vice president of the U.N. General Assembly, according to an internal State Department cable obtained by NPR.

The May 19 cable reportedly instructed U.S. diplomats to pressure Palestinian officials to abandon the bid ahead of June 2 elections for one of the assembly’s 21 vice president posts.

The cable described Mansour as someone with a “history of accusing Israel of genocide,” and warned his appointment would undermine Trump’s Gaza agenda. The cable also threatened to revisit visa waivers previously granted to Palestinian diplomats at the PLO’s U.N. mission in New York.

Not quite disposable — the “Israel” region and especially the Jerusalem area still have exploitable propaganda value when it comes to some Jewish nutters (sacrifices, temples etc.) and the extraction of money, weapons and unhinged sycophancy from Christian-Zio fanatics.

Plus, with the Palestinians effectively wiped out, there is territorial possession/claimed-ownership of the east Mediterranian oil and gas. No matter how devastated the land itself is.

While Putin and Xi met, Russia conducted ” a surprise check of nuclear forces” that culminated today in the final stage of the first joint exercise with Belarusian nuclear forces:

Troops and the forces were put on alert, full delivery was carried out and the issuance of nuclear weapons to Russian and Belarusian units combat use of nuclear weapons.

I don’t know how spontaneous this FTX was, but given recent events and discussion about them, I’m not very surprised. The readout shows today’s portion was likely organized in advance with all parties expressing satisfaction at the readiness level of nuclear forces.

I noticed that cynic ironically spoke of the ‘poor innocent proxies of the evil anglosaxons’. I personally never see proxies as innocent. I see them as partners in crime and I attempt to rectify the debate that overestimates another  aspect  of that context. When people need to use irony like that it is an expression of indignation. Perhaps to protect the anglosaxon virtue? But it isnt a good way to attain any truth, I think cynic understands the logic that proxy cannot be innocent.

In olden days, there was much spilt blood fueling that hate.

These days its because Americans are bored and love violence, as are their materialist sychophants and collaborators world wide.

Utopia never is as imagined.

The human condition is greedy and selfish.

@71

From the NY Post screed:

“order the US military to forge a path through the Strait of Hormuz to restore freedom of navigation on our terms, not Tehran’s.’

that was project Freedumb, which failed because the US has insufficient in both capacity and quantity to open the SOH!  It has even less potential to escort tankers.

The economic squeeze against Iran may work, but will certainly not be effected until after the US and EU are suffering deep economic tragedy.

“make a deal”: we murder you until you submit. the transactional language of gangsters is normalized. “cause them to hurt, no pain, no gain,” per Lindsay Graham.

this is the language of serial killers, wife beaters, child rapists, sadistic torturers. you know, the ruling class.

If they’re not going to work out a meaningful deal with Iran, just get on with it.  I’m in my 60s and am starting to accept that my retirement will not likely be “comfortable”. I’ll settle for justice. I hope to see the empire (along with Zionist Israel) fall before my days are done.

The whole state is a sick entity and the imperialists dont mind at all since that means the entity is totally dependent of the master. The typical scenario when the empire concocts a cult as was the case it is something sick. And there are elements of that among muslims as well since they too have been tha targets of imperial interference with the aim to facilitate hatred against them and to be less developed in science and technology.

Also another question: how do they manage to keep oil market prices around 100 $ after almost 3 months of war?
Posted by: Simon | May 21 2026 15:21 utc | 91
FIFY.
That’s the thing : “market price”. IRL offloaded oil is paid well above $100 , sometimes near $200 depending of the quality and the place it’s offloaded.
And oil is just a part of the problem among others : natural gas and nitrated fertilizers are real concerns right now.

Prior to their trip to China, Lavrov was interviewed by the SMG Shanghai Media Group which covers a wide spectrum of topics. Many different excerpts could be provided; here are two I deem important:

If the West, the capitalists, suddenly decide that they will impose sanctions, will not buy something from China, will not sell something to Russia, and the economies of China and the Russian Federation will face insurmountable problems, this is a delusion. Such powers, peoples as the Russian and Chinese cannot be enslaved. And they in the West are still trying to subordinate everyone to their will. We are on the right track….

After World War II, Russia and China were already the centers of a new world, which was based on the principles of the UN Charter. The principles are correct. They remain in force, although the West has never fulfilled them, did not respect the principles of sovereign equality of states and non-interference in internal affairs. But all these lofty ideals are enshrined in the UN Charter. We are categorically against revising it and adjusting it to the “necessary” adventures of our Western colleagues.

What we are seeing now in the form of sanctions, in the form of the seizure of sovereign states, if you will, attempts to invade – this is, first of all, unfair competition. The West uses these methods of unfair competition in many areas: economy, technology, trade, sports, when suddenly athletes of a particular country are excluded from world competitions. This is a very serious thing. The fear of competition, which reflects the West’s sense of its own waning influence over world events, is what we are also witnessing now….

Both China and Russia want an orderly multipolar world. I would like to emphasise once again that there is no need to invent principles on which it should be based. This is the UN Charter. It is absolutely adequate from the point of view of a fair structure of a multipolar world. Another thing is that until recently, the West simply ignored these principles. Now is the time to give them new life and translate these principles into action. [My Emphasis]

The last three paragraphs were in answer to one specific question. IMO, the main goal/plan of Russia/China is to constrain the Outlaws to the point where they’ll have no choice but to abandon their lawless ways and conform to the global norms as enshrined in the UN Charter that the Global Majority wants to retain and make it function properly. Yes, I know barflies are mostly cynics when it comes to that goal, but that’s what Russia and China are planning and doing. So, instead of arguing with me, take your objections to them and don’t forget to have your alternative plan of action ready to explain and show why it’s superior.

What was that Iranian ad with the watch reading 1:20?

Cuba next? I was playing a game with bing, asking it to compare population demographics in the US and Cuba. lifespan, neo/infant-mortality, alcoholism, homelessness, etc.

the US is such a sick country. in Cuba, Iran, VZ, ultimately NK too, the power of solidarity must be destroyed.

for a good time, ask:
Bing: “compare the covid 19 mortality rates of the US and Cuba.” like I said, the US and its people are fucking insane.

Speaking about oil prices , the UK was lifting sanctions on “Russian jet fuel and diesel” … a funny Russian answer to Brit’s demands would be “Sorry, no spare capacities ATM , a dumb ass is sending drones on our refineries , find the produce you desperately need elsewhere.”

Here is the weather forecast for the UAE

https://www.accuweather.com/en/ae/dubai/323091/weather-forecast/323091

Over 100F upcoming every day.  I live in the desert, if I happen to leave a spanner out in the sun, in 10 minutes it becomes too hot to touch.  Now, imagine the sailors on the US Navy tin cans cooking out there right now?  No A/C for the swabbies but maybe the officers in their staterooms have it.

Contemplate thermodynamics instead of the latest screed from Barak Ravid.  Can not jawbone physics like oil futures.  Now imagine special forces attacking while carrying 50 pound packs in that kind of heat?
