War On Iran: – Trump Threatens Genocide – More Tit-for-tat Bombing

As the world was waiting for President Donald Trump to TACO from his threat to destroy Iran he upped his madman strategy by threatening to genocide its people:

A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!
(TS: 07 Apr 08:06 ET)‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍

I find it no longer useful to attempt any interpretation of such threats. They are likely a reaction to the failed Isfahan operation.

After that above threat was posted Iran froze all diplomatic and indirect communication channels with the U.S.

Meanwhile the war continues at heightened intensity.

Yesterday Israel again attacked Iran’s largest industrial oil and gas installation in the South Pars field.

Retribution came fast. Israeli installations at Neot Hovav in the Negev desert were attacked. Saudi Arabia’s Al Jubail industrial area is on fire as are at least three major oil/gas sites in the Emirates.

This morning the U.S. (again) struck some 50 targets on Kharg Island in what I consider a preparation for an imminent invasion likely to follow this night.

Israel hit ten Iranian railway stations around Tehran to isolate the city.

The “Jewish State” also struck the Rafie Nia synagogue in Tehran. It seems to have been an intentional target.

Iran has published a quite sensible 10-point plan to end the war:

Iran’s 10-point plan includes:
1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again
2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire
3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon
4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran
5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies
6. In return, Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz
7. Iran would impose a Hormuz fee of $2 million per ship
8. Iran would split these fees with Oman
9. Iran to provide rules for safe passage through Hormuz
10. Iran to use Hormuz fees for reconstruction instead of reparations

Iran had previously asked for full U.S. reparation payments for the damage the war has caused. To instead insist on using Hormuz passage funds is a sensible retreat from a hardline position.

With Iranian consent more ships are quietly passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Whatever might happen Iran wont give up on not closing but controlling Hormuz for very good reasons.

The U.S. deploys additional HIMARS artillery to the Middle East.

The initial preconditions are already falling apart as RT reports:

08 April 2026
03:11 GMT

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has said that Israel “supports” President Trump’s decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks, as well as Washington’s ongoing “effort to ensure that Iran no longer poses a nuclear, missile and terror threat to America, Israel, Iran’s Arab neighbors and the world.”

“The United States has told Israel that it is committed to achieving these goals, shared by the US, Israel and Israel’s regional allies, in the upcoming negotiations,” the prime minister’s office said in a statement.

The two-weeks ceasefire does not include Lebanon,” the statement added, despite the Pakistani mediators’ insistence that Israel’s northern neighbor was covered by the tentative US-Iranian agreement. [Bold is my emphasis]

Ceasefire in Lebanon was an important component of the preconditions for negotiations. Also note nothing is said about the Zionists also observing the ceasefire with Iran. In otherwords, the Zionists haven’t agreed to anything.

Your point about Israel “gaining ground” – if I understand correctly – will not be a positive for Israeli Jews, they are already getting  their second and third passports from the ‘best’ host countries (like German, Russia, Poland, USA, Brazil, ) – as I can attest here in the USA, I can hear Hebrew on the street a lot more. In the small cities even.

And on YT there is a fresh new ad, from some Israeli ‘family’ business selling soap, and trinkets made by hand in Israel – with monthly donations. (intruding during a pro-Iranian podcast !)

James M #790  The regulations that were changed that allowed pharma companies to market opioids in non-hospital scenarios were made in 2000 AD.  Maybe the Afghan supply wasn’t needed but additional supply had to come from somewhere.  It doesn’t seem realistic that occupying Afghanistan would be necessary to kill Bin Laden in Pakistan, especially if you were just going to give him a burial at sea so nobody could verify. If you have a problem with the petro-dollar you probably know that US wars are paid for by countries other than the US, and that US inflation caused by deficit spending is always exported to the rest of the world.  That isn’t a good thing.  All of this is my opinion and I’m not an expert, just a 59 year old guy that drinks too much on occasion.   I did manage to soak Uncle Sam this year for nearly half of what he usually robs me of, though, so I’m pretty happy this year from a tax perspective.

Yep, but before the Afghan war and the Taliban taking over and eradicating opium crops, the CIA was involved in the trading of heroin and shipping some of it into American cities. I think much of it was notoriously trafficked through the MENA Airport in Arkansas when Billy Boy Clinton was governor (and being groomed/providing blackmail material) by the CIA for the presidency.

Yes, I also pondered your Q at 804. From what I’ve read, the Zionists have agreed to nothing, so the war with Iran is still going. As a result, Iran’s preconditions for talks haven’t been met, so no talks and no free Hormuz until they are ought to be Iran’s position. From RT’s ongoing update  page linked earlier:

04:12 GMT

President Trump has declared “a big day for World Peace,” stating that Iran “has had enough” – while claiming that the United States will help manage traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

“There will be lots of positive action! Big money will be made. Iran can start the reconstruction process,” he wrote in another post on Truth Social.

“We’ll be loading up with supplies of all kinds, and just ‘hangin’ around’ in order to make sure that everything goes well,” Trump posted, adding that the development could mark the “Golden Age of the Middle East.” [My bolded emphasis]

I’ve looked around to see if any further attacks were reported but quiet so far except in Lebanon.

You really got to get your facts straight buddy. 1996 was when fentanyl started to be more widely used by the pharmaceuticals. It was probably even before that. Opioid use dramatically increased in the 1990s, it went up in the 2000s as well. But you have to look at the causal links, not just correlation.  I’ll let you figure out what that means.

“Literally how was Putin responsible for the Iranians chickening out and taking a bad deal…”

[Posted by: MLP | Apr 8 2026 2:31 utc | 716]

Let’s see!

None of us yet know about what “deal” the Iranians allegedly “chickened out” and took, but,  since you ask:

1. Putin refused to deliver advanced versions of S-300 missiles Iran had already paid for in order not to upset nazinyahu and confirmed as much.

2. Putin declared that since 2 million “israelis” are Russian speakers and went there from Russia or the USSR “israel” is almost a Russian country and Russia “takes that into account” on the question of backing Iran. (Literally all Ukrainians are from the ex-USSR and all except the Transcarpathians are Russian speakers, but apparently that’s all right with Putin finally and belatedly launching the SMO).

3. Putin did absolutely nothing to stop the Gaza genocide, thus significantly strengthening “israel”.

4. Putin imposed a ceasefire in Syria and sat back while the Kurds stole Syrian oil and wheat for years to sell to “israel” via Turkey, weakening Syria until al Qaeda rolled over the country. “israel” now has full overflights of Syria and captured swathes of Syrian territory with al Qaeda acquiescence.

Still with me here?

These are just the things Putin did in full public view. If you imagine that Putin didn’t also pass on intelligence from Iran to nazinyahu, I have a (not yet bombed) bridge to sell you.

It’s funny that anyone could interpret this as a win for Iran. They folded, and Israel and the US will be back in attack positions long before Iran gets back on its feet. Iran has had its top leadership taken out — not once, but at least twice. They have smashed the country into rubble, and it will take years and years to rebuild. Meanwhile, Iran has made some strategic hits, but those will be rebuilt in no time, and the enemy has suffered almost no casualties. On top of that, Iran will be much more susceptible to Orange Revolutions from now on.

My original response to this comment –

“Afghanistan’s opium was funneled to US pharma companies….” – This is incorrect.

This may be of interest – Australia, specically Tasmania, produces @ 50% of the worlds opium poppy extract (morhine, codeine).

The US is the main market for these legal narcotics used in the manufacture of oxycontin etc.

So – “Australia’s ‘opium’ was, and still is, funneled to US pharma companies”.

It doesn’t seem realistic that occupying Afghanistan would be necessary to kill Bin Laden in Pakistan
Posted by: Chad McDougal | Apr 8 2026 4:09 utc | 803

That wasn’t the reason for occupying Afghanistan, nor was it opium. It was done in order to change the culture, and “democratize” Afghanistan, so they would not sponsor terrorism against Western countries. George W. Bush had this vision thing after 9/11 wherein he/his administration would change the Middle East and Central Asia, democratize the region, get rid of WMDs and terrorism, and impose America’s will through military force to ensure peaceful relations, etc., etc.

None of that came to pass, of course. American foreign policy, and many Americans in general, suffer from hubristic thinking. They are messianic and think everyone else in the world wants to be like them: “free” and “democratic,” and it is just big ole mean guys who are preventing them from realizing those dreams.  So, the solution is to get rid of those big ole mean guys and everyone will be happy – Milosevic, Saddam, Gaddafi, Khamenei, Mullah Omar, Maduro, Putin, Xi, etc.

It doesn’t work out that way since people and cultures are different and have different views on how to rule or be ruled, among other things. American foreign policy is not dangerous because it is greedy, after resources and money. It is dangerous because it is messianic and about changing a world that cannot change. Remember, American leaders are short-lived. Presidents only last 4 to 8 years, and in that time, they want to be remembered for their legacy. Presidents don’t get rich, ex-Presidents get rich. Think about that.

It seems pretty straightforward to me:

The ‘ceasefire’, is between Iran and the USA and Lebanon and the USA.

Not:

– Iran and israel.
– Iran and the Gulf dictatorships
– Lebanon and israel
– Iraq and israel

Accordingly, Iran is free to keep bombing everything except US military facilities and personnel.

That was cocaine from South America. The heroin in the 90’s was Mexican black tar and “China white” shipped out of Hong Kong. Look up APL President Truman Oakland Heroin. You should find articles about the container full of heroin accidentally found by customs training dogs at the terminal. Before it got turned into razor blades the Truman had framed articles of the stories hung in the passageways.

The interesting issue that I think is critical with Trump’s meeting in China is opening the flow of rare earths for military use that China has shut off.
I don’t think that China will do so and that will be a big impediment to the US replacing its military stocks of weapons or build new ones until they can get their own military rare earths that reportedly will take about 10 years for significant volumes.
How will Trump respond to that rejection by China?…..I don’t see he has any pressure to change China’s mind….will that reality take the private money system down?….I keep hoping so.

“Afghanistan’s opium was funneled to US pharma companies….” – This is incorrect.

Primary destinations for Afghan heroin were Europe, Russia and Iran.
Posted by: Persona Non Grata | Apr 8 2026 3:36 utc | 785

Those two are not mutually exclusive. Chad McDougal’s initial statement is correct. First there are no reliable numbers for black market heroin distribution. Second the US has backdoors, from declassified documents and biographies we know the CIA had been using drugs to disrupt black communities since the 60s. Third opium was also processed into legal opioid drugs. The fairy tale is that the Afghanistan’s record breaking opium exports that massively dwarfed every other producer simply vanished into a black hole, while the biggest US opioid drug producers simply took off in a vaccum.

Remember the US is the biggest and most profitable world market for drugs, both legal and illegal. In terms of of monetary value, the CIA drug pipeline would have made far more money selling to Americans than the poors in central Asia. Americans go where the money is, no matter what the propaganda says.

You can judge whether this is true by checking if its the US or actually Europe/Russian/Iran that is suffering from serious drug issues. Put the two and two together.

Good historical book recommendation though.

Oz is just as Jewed-up as AmeriKKKa. This became apparent after December 12, 2025, when 2 gunmen slaughtered 16 Jews and wounded ~40 more at a Hanukka event in Bondi, NSW.
The Lobby was quick to wring as much Grief, Sympathy and Publicity as possible from the event, aided, somewhat, by Oz’s Jew$lave Liberal & Labor politicians. The ensuing Debate-fest lasted for a couple of weeks.

However, in a monumental blunder, the Oz Nice Jew Lobby ‘forgot’ to condemn what their Zionist Brethren in the Pissant Parasite Statelet have been doing in Palestine for ~80 years.

Jews are cold-blooded thieving scum with Delusions of Grandeur and are apparently willing to Die for their Daydream.

I don’t believe that VV Putin is a Jew, or that he is sympathetic to their Greater Israel cause. But I do believe that he knows what their Ambitions are and is more than willing to help them to cross as many Red Lines as they wish to – from time to time.

Also read this morning that Iranian government officials are encouraging civilians to stand in front of power plants and important infrastructure as an act of defiance. I admire the people’s bravery, but don’t like that at all. In war, it is illegal to bomb civilian infrastructure, however it is not right to use people as human shields. Civilians should be encouraged to take shelter.

Trump’s career is over.
Posted by: too scents | Apr 8 2026 6:01 utc | 848

Not an attack on you at all, but no shit, Sherlock. He’s a lame duck 2nd term President who I and others have always said would wage a war on Iran if he was elected to a 2nd stint. Fuck Trump and his career. The problem I have now is with the majority of Democrats and how precisely and calibrated-ly little they have done to rein him in. Like the Rethug warmongers. Nothing fucking changes and the Zionazis KNEW they had the perfect candidate to steal the election for (and unlike some of the simpleton morons at MoA who think that stealing an election means simply changing counts or faking ballots on election night – did they find Chinese bamboo in Arizona? LOL – Trump has said EVERY election he’s been in was going to be stolen even the ones he has won!) the Zionists and their forces crafted this election perfectly. From the subtle media angle (all Zio-owned whether Dim or conservative) to the disgusting control they hold over the culture of this c0untry.

So yeah, his career is over because of the above and the fact he’s an 80 year old walking corpse like the previous puppet who paved the way for Ziofascism abroad and Trumpfascism in the US. Ooooh, but now I have “TDS”!!! (anyone heard THAT term for a while?! – gee I wonder why not XD).

Trump’s career status is perfect anecdata for the real meaning of ANY high ranking politician in the US. Don’t mean shit – The DNC and GOP will both come out this midterm cycle (AFTER the coordinated mass shooting events and “foiled Iranian terror attacks” during the FIFA WC) as if they are super anti-war but also stressing how evil and terroristic the Mullahs have been for the past “47 years.”

This country is a fucking joke and I’m totally with AUH. Death to “America.” Are the Dims SLIGHTLY better for the working class they abandoned as “deplorables” way before a real political career was a glimmer in Trumpstein’s eyes? Yeah, maybe on a very transactional short-term basis. Biden has been portrayed as “crushing” the railworkers strike, but he did implement the CFPB (which Trump immediately threw into the woodchipper. Obama DID enter into the one-sided but much better than warmongering genocidal threats to END IRANIAN CIVILIZATION that Trump Cultist Derangement Syndrome morons are supporting – not to mention the lies they tell about the true history between the US and Iran – or any OTHER dissident country).

It’s amazing, really. How bad the stupid fucking corporate bankster Zionist owned sellout Dims must have allowed their image to become (and it’s almost totally accurate) among the working class. That they can’t just let a dude like Bernie Sanders (I said ‘like’) to win the nomination, even for SENATE in a state larger than Vermont or in a small California congressional district. The Dems are fully Epstein Class, cosplaying as the “alternative” to OPENLY genocidal Empire whackos like Emperor Sith (fuck me if I’m wrong I don’t watch Star Wars shit but I did like “Andor”) Jew-Supremacist owned Trumpstein Regime and its supporters like that mutant retard Lindsey Graham or Mark Levin (who has been pushing Ziosupremacy since the early 2000s). The Dems are garbage, even if they are slightly less bad for “joe 6-pack” (and I dare any fucking tool to debate me on this with respect to everyday matters, while they mistake my statement for an “endorsement”) than the rethugs.  Does anyone think that West Virginia would still be thriving on coal or that auto or steel mfg would be leading the world in the Rust Belt if Dems hadn’t won a single election since 1970? If so, they’re fucking absolute sub-room temperature IQ fuckwits.

**Obama did enter into the JCPOA…^^^

Trump is a fucking disaster. And not a disaster in the sense that anti-Empire comfortable, retired, old wannabe leftists who canvassed for Obama like Gruff and others did, but who are now basically sideline accelerationist cheerleaders because they have no more skin in the game. No kids, grandkids, or even nieces and nephews they GAF about.

Kamala would have kicked the can down the road, but not only has Trump started a still-spiraling-war against Iran, but he’s gutted social safety programs, destroyed numerous welfare agencies, is asking for a RECORD WAR BUDGET, and is using the evil Techbro Overlord Zionist staffed and owned Silly-Cone Valley Palantir type firms to form a singularity of data on every American and immigrant which will shortly be used to track and destroy any “left-wing” person, remove them from their benefits, possibly jail them, deport them, or otherwise debank/marginalize and blacklist them.

I laugh at anyone who sees this as either a) Red Team/Blue Team partisanship, b) naive paranoia and/or c) science fiction.

Trump IS the Epstein Class’s accelerationist extraordinaire. And that’s not a statement one way or the other on Democrats. Which is something the likes of Gruff will surely trip over or need the Heimlich maneuver to get their responses out straight on.

Since sanctions are a casus belli (good cause) to legally respond with war — granted these were in the wistful post WWII days where treaties like Nuremberg were meant to prevent such further chaos — Iran should have as a start to broach negotiations the immediate end of sanctions, all of them from oil & SWIFT.

Might as well play negotiation hardball. One whose word is perfidious and good for nothing pays cash up front to cross the store threshold, no credit or grace allowed. Assume bad faith and expect real concessions from US & Israel first if they want to show genuine contrition to Iran.

You are not wrong with what you a saying in general, but I will disagree with this – black market “opium was also processed into legal opioid”.

No highly regulated pharmaceutical company based in the US is going to buy morphine or any other opioid, that has been ‘manufactured’ in a mud brick ‘lab’ in Afghanistan. A dirty 44 gallon drum of opium over a wood fire, mixed with various chemicals of dubious origin and zero quality control, processed into morphine and finally heroin. This is then smuggled into the US where it is worth many orders of magnitude more than legally procured opioids.

The pharma companies get a very cheap, high quality, totally legal product that has been audited, documented etc. at every step of the production cycle, from a highly regulated jurisdiction like Australia.

His defensive comment about him needing to consider the fact that a lot of Soviet/Russian Jews live in Israel when considering helping Iran, made me think that Solzhenitsyn must be screaming in his grave ” Ты чертов идиот ! “.

Putin: “Israel today is almost a Russian-speaking country, 2 million people from the Soviet Union and Russia live there. We take that into account.”

For me personally it was like,

Survivors testify: MKs participated in sadistic sexual ‘rituals’ involving minors

(Excerpt)…..
Doctors, educators, police officers, and past and present members of the Knesset were involved in these abuses,’ survivor says.
JUNE 3, 2025 17:06

(Warning: The following contains sensitive material, reader discretion is advised.)

Several women on Tuesday testified in the Knesset about sexual abuse they suffered as minors as part of religious ritual ceremonies…..

…..The joint meeting was organized in the wake of an investigative report published on April 2 by Israel Hayom journalist Noam Barkan.

Yael Ariel, one of the abuse survivors, shared: “I experienced ritual abuse over many years until my late teens and was forced to harm other children. I chose to speak out and make my voice heard. I received threats after revealing my story. From age five to age 20, I was harmed in these ceremonies.”

According to Ariel, she received testimonies from several women who claimed that doctors, educators, police officers, and past and present members of the Knesset were involved in these abuses.

“I filed a complaint with the police that was closed after a few months, and I know of other cases that were closed. Speaking out today in the Knesset is a historic moment,” she said.

Another survivor, Yael Shitrit, testified: “You have no idea what ritual abuse is. The human brain cannot comprehend it. You can’t imagine what it means to program a three-year-old girl through rape and sadism so they can do whatever they want without anyone knowing.

“Their trafficking of me happened all over the country. They moved me from ceremony to ceremony. Naked men stood in a circle. My therapist, her husband, and her son harmed me, and there were dozens of other girls and boys who harmed me………

Yes, and my beef isn’t even with the Democrats. That ship sailed…for good in 2016, but obviously it left the harbor much earlier. It’s with the wannabe Marxist/leftist know-it-all accelerationist commenters in forums like this AND the majority of the left-liberal media. Anyone who CANVASSED for Obama in 2007/2008 and claims to be a socialist is either a liar or a moron. And anyone who BRAGS about it while at the same time basing their entire identity online on the practice of trashing any normal person who comes into a living conversation like the MoA comments genuinely expressing the highly likely fact that life for the American working class WOULD be slightly better under a (genocide abroad/doxing/law enforcement/Zionist supporter like Genocide Joe) Dimmocrap administration  – AND – childishly asserting that we’d be in this near-civilizational war with Iran (and Russia) no matter whether that c*nt Kamala was elected over Trump as having “TDS” is clearly not viewing reality accurately. What has Trump d0ne to end the NATO-US-Ukraine war on Russia? From what I gather here at MoA, it amounts to sternly worded, carefully timed “mean” speeches to the Eurovasssals. IOW: SAME SHIT, different narrative.

Recall, Trump in his first term was endlessly excused for his warmongering and illegal actions because he hired morons and filth like Bolton and Pompeo. So what’s different now other than even higher stakes and more pain abroad and at home? Nothing. In fact it’s worse. In the first several months, that dickface allowed “DOGE” to exfiltrate untold amounts of data on American citizens and resident aliens alike with complete unaccountability. They have gone way above and beyond any *accurate* accusations levied against Genocide Joe as far as squelching and criminalizing dissent and “thought crimes” against “patriotism” and totally torn to shreds any social welfare programs that primarily benefit Trump and GOP voters in the Rust Belt and other areas of the country decimated by the opioid, post-forever-war, and off-shoring of  manufacturing crises that were implemented by the Uni-Party under both Dem and previous Rethug regimes. It’s not a coincidence that Clinton killed Glass-Steagall with the help of THREE GOP senators. AND a Republican advisor.

This country is fucked. And the best argument – or at least the only reasonably coherent and consistent one that Gruff and Co. can make now, from their position of comfort and lack of skin in the game (for themselves and their extended families – if they have any other than some cats and livestock) is “burn it to the ground because I’m safe and I’ve been a devout leftist (not lephtist) who campaigned for OBOMBER.

It’s ridiculous. MoA commentary – inasmuch as it may be comprised of Americans – can easily be broken into two factions: Closeted “conservative” warmongering war-on-the-poor-because the GOP has “better” messaging, or Democrat apologists and lesser-of-two-evil types. I’m personally disgusted with my fellow “Americans” as far as that goes right now. I mean, who the ever loving f*ck would have returned to the US from a nice sinecure abroad in a country with reasonable quasi-socialist domestic policy to fight for Obama? And worse, who over the age of 30 at the time would have done so, and then 10+ years later constantly bitch about how bad the Dems are while accusing any of Trumpstein’s policies or supporters as “TDS” victims.

We f*cked.

That is guaranteed. There is no reason why Trump or Bibi would change their life long habits with the current unlimited power they have at home and for most of the planet. They just needed a few days to reorganize and search for methods to surprise Iran. You will also see again extreme levels of trade to US and Israel from the original Brics to help them recover as quickly as possible, as Brics breaks records of trade since Gaza started (UN trade data says so). Iran will have to repair itself

PEACE IN OUR TIME!!
(no, just joking..)

There are so many things here not adding up. Both sides are publicly showing fronts totally detached from reality that, as we ll know, will ultimately win. Trump may claim to negotiate about the 10 points but how in hell would he be able to agree to even three points of those?
Iran boasted for weeks there will be no negotiations and suddenly at the moment of  greatest threat their demands get accepted? Which poker game ever worked like this? Even the most empty bluff would have to fold – but this is not what happened. No way the USA would now evacuate the whole region and leave Israel.

Is Iran supposed to open the Strait now and release all the pressure that took weeks to build for empty promises? Claiming that US promises of nonaggression would be a diplomatic goal? How could they be,? Iran’s entire strategy hinged on building pressure, now they are supposed to give all of that up after they paid for it with blood?

What about the supposed influence of Israel? If Trump took this decision in closed room negotiation without Israel being present, how can the agreement be binding for them? Are the USA going to cut off the arms deliveries now if they don’t behave? What about the Epstein files (now declared closed, forgotten and about to be deleted..).

Nothing of this adds up at all. Of course Iran will be hit more than they admitted but what will they be returning to once the ceasefire fails or ends?

  • economic pressure down
  • Interceptors reloaded
  • Planes serviced, refueled and positioned
  • More bombs for IDF
  • Internal pressure due to backing off
  • Allowing Israeli society to get back on their feet

I can’t really see too many benefits for Iranian strategy, at best they can deepen the rift between US and Israel. Iran can recover a bit if they are  more spent than they admit – with the risk to be crushed after.

Or is this the other way around, US threatened nukes, Iran folded and got to show “negotiations” as the face saving prize?

Did Trump finally say “you know guys, we are sick of Israel too, let’s use this to rebalance a little”. We get to keep our bases and we’ll reign in the little satan a bit.. all get to survive, divide and take some spoils?

The United States and the Trump administration achieved none of their declared goals in this conflict.

– There has been no regime change.
– There has been no collapse of the Islamic Republic.
– There has been no partitioning of Iran.
– And there has been no weakening of our armed forces or our people.”

All good questions and good points.
The Game being played is way more complex for me to even hope to be able to predict.
The hard facts on the ground in my opinion:
1) If US stays in the region Iran will be hit again
2) If Israel is in the region the Game will not stop
3) Iran has the nuc material and can make that bomb within 2 weeks (interview of Prof. Postol )
4) Given 1) and 2) Iran has no choice but not to play the games Putin is playing with Red Lines, “You want to send me to the Stone Age then I will take you along and a good part of the World by hit Petroleum Industry in the Middle East plus Izra-Hell.”
5) 4) is necessary because NO ONE WILL COME AND RESCUE IRAN if things go crazy.
6) Nothing is fazing Izra-Hell in destroying Lebanon. They will push in as far as possible then ask Uncle Sam to send more bombs so they can level the place like Gaza before they take a break to rest and consolidate.Zios smell that they are getting what they historically wanted, fewer Arabs around them, more land and their hand deep in the US taxpayers pocket.
This Show is far from over.

I’m not happy to see Kushner and (especially) Witkoff there but Vance would be the new face. This is not about trust — there won’t be any on the Iranian side but Kushner and Witkoff are spent. The latter gleefully commented on the attacks that started the current war during on-going negotiations.

If Kushner and Witkoff is involved it is a guaranteed deception. I am super skeptical about Vance, but given the alternatives… and Rubio has vanished?

Realistically, Vance is the only one that can be lipstick’ed up to have some resemblance of credibility.  Watch out for daggers though.

The US and Israel are getting critically low on air defense ammunition. They were about to run out, leaving them sitting ducks in West Asia.

I agree. And the disaster near Isfahan demonstrated to the world that the US is not invincible.

Debatable points.

  1. Putin refused to deliver advanced versions of S-300 missiles

If you didnt know, the key is that Russia did end up delivering the orders after a delay. At the time of the delay, Ahmadinejad was in charge, and he is quite anti-Russian (see his Ukraine comments). Friction no doubt from background interactions. I would not be too thrilled to deliver weapons to someone who hates you either.

  2. Putin declared that since 2 million “israelis” are Russian speakers…

Here you have to separate the public rhetoric from actual intentions. The biggest enemies of Russia: USA, Ukraine, Israel all have large populations of Russian speakers. This ambigious diplomatic language just seems friendly but can be used as groundwork for more aggressive action against them in the name of protecting said Russian speakers in the future.

  3. Putin did absolutely nothing to stop the Gaza genocide
Saying Russia did nothing is uncalled for. Russia provided all the diplomatic support they could in the international arena and rescued Syria from the brink until they won against ISIS in 2015. This is the foundation of the weapons pipeline from Iran and what enabled Palestinian resistance. Not to mention securing a very favourable diplomatic deal with Israel that ensure the survival of the Syrian state and made them only go after individual weapon shipments.

  4. Putin imposed a ceasefire in Syria and sat back while the Kurds stole Syrian oil

The ceasefire was a blunder but this is not something that could happen without Syrian agreement. Note the ceasefire only covered Idlib, not the Kurdish regions. If the Syrians wanted to, they could take back those Kurdish oilfields themselves without Russian involvement. Its the proper way to sort things amongst themselves. In the end they CHOSE not start a civil war and settled to leave the US proxies in place, just like Lebannon. They took the easy short term path with corresponding long term consequences.

I actually agree with many of your posts except when it comes to Putin. I believe this is an example of information asymmetry. I can see areas where you thought were unreasonable but actually makes a lot of sense with more perspective like above. No doubt Putin also make other decisions that leave others scratching but makes perfect sense if you have the same amount of Information in front of you.

Vance is the only one that can be lipstick’ed up to have some resemblance of credibility.

Same as in his synonymous fable “Little Boy Blue”.

For CNN/FOX/BBC believing class of viewers.
Once Trump’s term is finished I have no clue how any rational person in the US can believe that any candidate for President is going to do anything that is in that voters interest. Only the dreamers IMO can still think this, without being aware that they are dreaming.
It will be interesting what the voter turnout will be for that Circus Show.

The Lego cartoon made of this clusterfuck battle, “Black Friday,” clearly shows soldiers left behind waving at the departing evacuation plane. Easy to find on internet. Cartoons are not reliable source material of course, but sometimes they are more truthful than omnipresent digital-generated fictional reality where nothing ever happens.

Indeed, I saw that also. Also some soldiers with x’ed eyes thrown in the bin.  Those were hints.  The full truth of this event has yet to be told.  Don’t expect it from Hollywood.

Zios smell that they are getting what they historically wanted, fewer Arabs around them, more land and their hand deep in the US taxpayers pocket.

This part I have my doubts on. Israel opened too many fronts, they suffer from the same imperial overreach the US does. Their politics work as if the USA forever had their back and they will receive free bombs forver. Nothing checking their feeling of power.

Even a simple historic return to the mean would spell the end of that. Middle East was never unified, too many players, too many layers. No on getting dominance for good as their own Torah spells out – if read thoroughly. So many instances the Torah warns against “sins against god” and cultural hubris. Guess it’s another golden calf situation and time for a sermon. There are reasons they are looking for a Third Temple, first two didn’t go so well.

It’s not like the eve of the 1967 war either. US is more self-interested and when I was in the States, antisemitism was palpable. Not the anti-zionist kind but the “old, unwashed, uncivilized money grubbers” kind. This time the “blood libel” comes with evidence and a lot of resentment. It comes with statistics about Ivy League admissions, AIPAC tracking sites and “of course, another jew” when looking at the government.

I think israel had it’s day in the sun but they haven’t realized the unipolar moment is over. Riding a dead horse.
There have always been macro trends in the USA, one of them is isolationism, interestingly Trump was voted in largely on that ticket. https://peacediplomacy.org/2024/10/21/dont-look-now-but-isolationism-is-winning/. Of course he disappointed his base but in doing so he also reinforced the trend. The next budget round will do the rest. If the feds cut healthcare and spend tax dollars on war, why even be part of it? Why not turn to blue-land and red-land? Taboo so far “inconceivable”, but hey, aren’t we surprised veery day now? Just like USSR preferred to dissolve so I expect the USA to do – maybe a little less peacefully or civilized.
Doesn’t mean it’s true but the trend line says wars are getting more unpopular, Fukuyama and “end of history” is over.

On a less political level anything Israel does is over. It’s a fossil fuel driven, divided colony that never cared to integrate it’s inhabitants, is stuck in racism and bronze age cultism, no civilization they can agree on apart from zionism and murder.. Where are the Ashkenazi contributions, the arts, the education, the spiritual strife? Dead and buried, their swan song are repeated claims of “highest morals” on the basest of things. Have they closed Yad Vashem yet? As a lot of Israeli opposition voices stated, you can’t build on lies and war, nothing good will come out of it.

Of all the worldwide voices, only Iran and few spots in Africa have any claims on idealism and morality required to build and further civilization. China and Russia still catching up to capitalism, generations processing the trauma of their previous experience. Europe clutching purses and tightening belts. In fourth turning terms, China and Russia are late summer, early fall, Europe entering winter led by “summer knights”.

So yeah, they may think to be on top, still their army lead is already crying as they bleed out south of Litani. No ceasefire will save that. It will allow to count the damage, aks questions and demand answers though. Likud platform just fell apart, now go draft some Haredi *g*

Maybe.

Did Russia and Iran sign a defense alliance pact after the 12 day war last year?

Heroin was weaponised to destabilize Russia and Iran. A quick search will point you to a number of documentaries highlighting the heroin problem in Iran during the Afghanistan war.

The present generation of barflies seems to have completely forgotten what was known about Iran by previous generations. The problem of opioids in Iran was not heroin, which is the US problem (one of them), but old-fashioned opium smoking. Even the Wiki article has lost most of its knowledge (sv Opium in Iran)

Opium smoking – I am not sure when it started – but it was already a major problem under the shah. I remember well joining in a session when I was in Iran in 1974, the only occasion I ever tried the product. The consumption was so widespread that  it was one of the causes of the Islamic Revolution. The mullahs were very opposed, and severe penalties were imposed, most often the death penalty. Nearly all the executions of gays by the regime were actually executions for drug-dealing, reattributed by those haters of the current regime (mainly exiles) who have done so much to provoke the present war.

The wiki article sets out to blame the regime, as a recent problem. I am not convinced. In my last visit in 2019, I didn’t come across any sign, as I had in the 1970s.

‘Some countries’ may baulk at paying in Chinese Yuan. Another humiliation for the US that will be downplayed by the msm.

That’s OK, they can pay in Iranian Rial, or Elbonian Mud Biscuits, whatever.
Just not in US$.
