Moon of Alabama Brecht quote

Trump And The Devil

President Donald Trump has for some time been in a public dispute with Pope Leo of the Catholic church.

Within the context of the quarrel Trump posted a picture of himself depicted as saint healer overseen by a devil.

And no – this isn’t a late April’s fool joke …

On February 4 2026, the X/Twitter account NickAdamsinUSA posted this AI slop picture of Trump as a saint healer.

bigger
Yesterday Trump himself posted a similar picture on his Truth Social account. It was reproduced on X/Twitter.

Some mend_alyn noted a slight difference between both pictures:

mend_alyn @mend_alyn – 4:44 UTC · Apr 13, 2026

> Trump’s Truth Social post added the horned figure (at the top) to an already disgusting picture @NickAdamsinUSA shared in February. <

Indeed. Here is a cut from the top of the picture posted in February:

And a similar cut from the picture posted two months later by Trump:

The man in the middle has been transformed into something like a ‘horned’ angel.  He seems to wear a Statue of Liberty look-alike crown.

One wonders who initiated that transformation. When and for what purpose?

Context:

Pope Leo XIV had recently spoken out against the wars waged by President Donald Trump.

On Apr 12 at 21:03 ET President Donald Trump posted a rant against Pope Leo:

Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy. He talks about “fear” of the Trump Administration, but doesn’t mention the FEAR that the Catholic Church, and all other Christian Organizations, had during COVID when they were arresting priests, ministers, and everybody else, for holding Church Services, even when going outside, and being ten and even twenty feet apart. I like his brother Louis much better than I like him, because Louis is all MAGA. He gets it, and Leo doesn’t! I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country. And I don’t want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States because I’m doing exactly what I was elected, IN A LANDSLIDE, to do, setting Record Low Numbers in Crime, and creating the Greatest Stock Market in History. Leo should be thankful because, as everyone knows, he was a shocking surprise….

Forty-three minutes after his rant Trump posted the above picture which portrays him as a saint with a horned/crowned angel/devil above him.

How will the evangelical followers of Trump interpret this?

Who construed and directed this drama?

Please think about and answer the questions.

Added after publishing (15:39 UTC):

Trump just deleted his post of the picture.

Also added after publishing (16:09 UTC):

The President of Iran condemned Trump’s insults of the Pope:

Masoud Pezeshkian @drpezeshkian – 13:19 utc · Apr 13, 2026

His Holiness Pope Leo XIV (@Pontifex), I condemn the insult to Your Excellency on behalf of the great nation of Iran, and declare that the desecration of Jesus, the prophet of peace and brotherhood, is not acceptable to any free person. I wish you glory by Allah.

Iz it too far-fetched to consider the possibility that the USA might move to assassinate the pope?

As an entry point into this thread, Trump’s latest what-to-call-it? can be seen as a response to his own termination of the ‘peace talks’ to take the attention off that. You see, once Trump realized what Iran’s 10 points were really about, (as TC Roberts has pointed out, Trump only seized upon agreement to the 10 poiñts to get out of his hours away deadline to wipeout Iranian civilization — Trump didn’t really read the 10 points) Trump of course backed out of the talks. Trump’s  moves are always to get out of what he did immediately prior.
Iran must have known that the US wasn’t on the level as it never can be. So why did it even engage? Roberts believes Iran’s acceptance of ceasefire was a mistake because  Trump interpreted it as weakness and immediately re-focused the point of the US/IZ aggression as response to the false belief of the worlds ignorants that Iran’s getting a nuke is a great terror for the world (rather than for Israhell, and Scott Ritter has just said again on MOATS, that Irans fatwa against nuke weapons has never been reversed).

I say, so what? Iran is not that worried about US/Israhell BS at this point. It’s probably knows that world opinion has already shifted in its favor anyway.

So why did Iran accept the ceasefire and thus engage in negotiations? It’s not a diminuation of Iran’s resistance to US imperialism to say it may have been a dodge of the frontal assault (total destruction of infrastructure) made by the agressor. Bringing down the world’s unipolar imperialist and it’s local lackeys takes time.

At this point in time, 90 countries have made a statement at the UN opposing the killing of UNIFIL peacekeepers and aggression on Lebanon. One would have wished the statement had named Israel and proposed action; still, it can be seen that there is no way back to their former positions of power for the world dominators.

IMO the video linked below is a must-watch.

“Why Iran’s Blockade is an Oracle Story.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsbOer1vLI0
The Drey Report (Youtube channel).

I had not heard of her, but her account of the real goal of the Board of Peace is convincing. She has done her research. The BoP is a facade for Larry Ellison’s Oracle. Oracle already manages the IDF. Palantir sits atop Oracle. The name Gaza does not appear in the actual founding document of the Board of Peace. The UN voted on a pig in a poke (uselessness of UN). Oracle is a vulture sitting in the background waiting for not only Gaza but also Lebanon to be destroyed, along with the electronic infrastructuew already in place there, so that all of the new infrastructure will be supplied by Oracle, and will interface with the IDF etc. IOW, the Zionists’ Lebanon campaign achieves the aims of Oracle/Ellison. Oracle is also just waiting for Iran to be destroyed so that it can move into Iran with its total surveillance/total control capabilities. Chinese and Russian tech must be eliminated from Iran. Drey does a quick run=through of the the members of the board of the BoP and the role of Kushner (going back decades to his dad). Per Drey, Trump has no interest in the presidency: after he leaves the preisdency he will have personal control over all of the money collected by the BoP from those stupid enough to pay in. He will be like the emperor of the world. I could go on but I’ll just suggest that bar flies check out the video.

Oh, and Drey, a redhead, is very attractive as well as smart, so that might be an additional draw.

Luis is the son or nephew of Genesis, both Hungarian anti Russia types. They share the same world view and thought pattern because they are close relatives.  Genesis feeds Luis ideas that he accepts completely without much independent thought. He may grow up one day.

Israel.

Other than that, I would really have to dig for religious leaders, perhaps early colonial Africa in the Mau Mau rebellion and Maji Maji, although their religious leaders were not exactly as structured, and the Indian Wars of USA, again, kind of, sometimes, thinking the ghost dance leader….  China in Tibet?  Otherwise, I think it’s been centuries.  Hitlers genocidal war against the Slavs was not really that discriminatory, they just killed everyone.

Police officers, firefighters, emts, I am not sure I would really have to think about any wars, where they were targeted.  generally, they were kept in tact as they were wanted for the post war puppet regimes.

In order to police a blockade line in Arabian Sea far enough away from the IRGC missile brigades firing Chinese C802/Silkworm anti ship rockets, the USN would need dozens of destroyers, frigates and GM cruisers and subs to police the line of contact.

LOL to that…….the USN does not have even a dozen ships that could be spared for such a task and at the same time protect numerous support ships that compose the USS Abraham Lincoln CS group…………

One they did this thing some times where they would chant “yud hey vah hey”  and have an inner circle of people move one way, and an outer circle move the other.

They would also have prayer meeting before every service (4 a week, plus music practice and friday night prayer meetings as well, for six visits to the church a week… as you can guess I hated church.)

they would cry, and wail, and  so much snot rags, it made the room stink afterward.  probably half an hour.

There most trademark prayer, I will not name it, to try to hide the church, but try to describe: it sounded like a dove, except it never quit.  Their jaws would quiver violently, and streams of tears would run down their cheeks, this could last for five minutes, sometimes two hours.

I learned later from an ex member there was a secret prayer group at the headquarters, for chosen “prayer warriors only” which he described as “simply satanic” to listen to.  He said it was like a strange sound of unending grunts.  Knowing how the more common special “gift” prayer sounded, (WEIRD),  I can try to imagine, but know Ill never really know how that grunt prayer sounded.

The church was definitely matriarchal.  In fact, a lot of men had problems with their wives joining….  and the symbolism was clearly kabbalistic now that I know more of the kabbal.   They also loved to throw in hebrew phrases they knew, like “shalom”, “An d’ messiah” and a few others.  Musci services were very coutnry western holy rollers trying to pretend black, (I also went to a black pentacostal church for a couple years before this one as a kid, (Church of God in Christ))

Judging by how quickly Iran is repairing damage from the first waves of attacks, a full month of MAXIMUM LEVEL Shock and Awe, I’d say that the way that Iran is planning on absorbing the US missile and drone stocks is to repair and rebuild as they go along.  Basically what Russia and Ukraine do, except faster and on a much larger scale.

Meanwhile the US is imploding.  Trump is speeding that process up with his Truth Social posts, but the implosion was already a work in progress.  The Pakistan meeting sped up the US implosion process.

I read through some headlines in the US.  Fortune highlighted one saying that Trump wanted to take out Iran since 1980, but instead is taking out the US.  Another headline brought together the idea that China is bypassing the blockade, accounting for the reduction in oil prices to less than $100.  Just two of the more impactful examples of disgust and confusion in the US.
I conjecture that allowing the US to manipulate their oil prices to around $100 a barrel is sufficient for the purposes of Russia / China / Iran.  Europe is toast, and the US is moving in that direction.  A couple of weeks for Iran to rebuild and repair is worth more to Iran than doing faster quicker damage to the US.  And oh yeah – Hezbollah is doing quite fine against US / Israel in the meantime (from what I can tell).

God, this anthropomorphization of the basic notion of wholeness, is it talking to you?

We will experience the consequences of our actions, our thoughts, our emotions within ourselves. The day we die to this life, our brain is dead, but it still needs to be disconnected.

Make no mistake. In that instant, you will recognize everything you have done. And in the five minutes in which you will become nothingness, you will, by God, find out why it is wrong to hurt others.

Posted by: Luis | Apr 13 2026 21:31 utc | 235

You’ve seen the light, eh?

Let me pick up on one point. The basic notion of wholeness is not a substruction; an abstraction; not an idealized concept gained from partial understanding (such as a limit value in analysis).  The neoplatonistic term The One, or one-ness, is about the strange essence of awareness as always showing us one “something” (the object, if you will; or Gegenstand) against a currently non-focused upon background. Awareness comes as awareness-of. Letting the mind wander, we can focus on various things, but never the universe as a whole (it’s too big). All we may is to extrapolate the whole of it. The macro-view is impossible to achieve, while the micro-view when focusing on the objects in the mind’s eye always achieves wholeness of perception. When I can’t see the trees through the mist, than that is perfectly clear; the example Edmund Husserl used IIRC.

By the way, this does not necessarily mean that a perception is either identical to the perceived, nor to itself. The latter happens e.g. when a surface structure changes from having discernible features to becoming textural, or when a memory becomes fuzzy while reviewing it. In formal logic, where we work with the assumption that A=A (the identity relation), special regard has to be taken to ensure viability. One of my neatest experiences on halucinogenic substances was when I experienced the issue directly – any notion (Vorstellung; imagination) was wafting about itself, ever so slightly. Note also that no concrete notion can be kept permanently conscious.

Who will monitor the so called elites?
In Islam , one can use the Qur’an to check the integrity of the self- appointed leaders.

That ain’t easy to read, and as I’m literally listening to this red-haired gals video, and I totally agree a Jew ain’t a Zionist, nor is a zionist a jew necessarily, but lets be honest most of the “Jews” residing in Israel are evidently zionist in ideology?  This is most evident.  I refer to them as “zigaboos” – they are zionist who want to literally KILL all the innocence in Gaza, and they have done fairly well so far in their misbegotten minds, but fact of the matter is the folks in Gaza got a will to live and they ain’t the offensive ones – now are they?
~
So really – all you folks in Israel – reap what you sow seems a message you ought give consideration and take seriously.

In Islsm, you cannot start a war, or break a treaty, so you have to take a hit, which Iran has done wrt Israel bombing Lebanon.

Trump clearly approved this treachery, or even ordered it and thinks it’s cool. Time for him to start electioneering for the midterms.

Donald Trump checks a lot of boxes as an anti christ or The Anti Christ but he is also checks all the boxes of the Muslim version of the Anti Christ as well.

The Dajjāl, or “the Deceiver”, is an evil figure, a false messiah who will emerge in the End Times.
He will promise power and prosperity, before being ultimately defeated by a righteous leader. Appearing during a period of great tribulation, he will be followed by the Jews and will claim to be God in Jerusalem. He will work false miracles, and most people will be deceived.
Christian tradition tells us the Antichrist will be a world emperor – and his coming will signal the end of the world. His army will ultimately be defeated by the army of God. The world will end when God comes in judgement to reward the righteous in heaven and punish the wicked in hell.
Judaism and Islam adopted the idea of the Antichrist from Christianity. The Jewish Antichrist is known as Armilus. Both versions are king-like messiahs.
The Dajjāl does not appear in the Quran. He was created in the Hadith – the record of the sayings and actions of Muhammad. His appearance was one of the ten signs of the end of the world: along with smoke, the beast from the earth, the rising of the sun from the West, the descent of Jesus, general turmoil and the deaths of many.
The Dajjāl appears regularly in the Prayer of Refuge:

O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the evil of the affliction of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal.

He is described as large and stout, of a red complexion. He is also blind in one eye (perhaps only metaphorically). He will have big, curly hair. While the Christian Antichrist is predicted to appear with his name, or the number 666, on his forehead, the Dajjāl will have the letters of the word “kafir” – or “disbeliever” – on his.

I was born in 1948 during the Nakba in Occupied Palestine

Approximately 15,000 Palestinians were killed during the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe), which accompanied the creation of the state of Israel. This period involved the violent displacement of over 750,000 Palestinians, the destruction of around 530 villages, and dozens of massacres, such as in Deir Yassin.

Mate the Palestinians had no say at all. The area was administered by BRITAIN until 1948 and after Israel had been established.  Essentially after WWI Palestine was taken from Turkey and administered by Britain. France had Lebanon essentially.
The BRITISH set up Israel. Balfour declaration and all that.

Jamarl Thomas and Carl Zha, the Chinese perspective.  First of all, Carl Zha is almost GIDDY with the way things have gone for China.  Taking his statements and the US narrative together, the US blockade is conjectured to be able to block Iran exports to every nation in the world… EXCEPT FOR CHINA.  (and maybe Pakistan and India as both nations have ports close enough to Iran).  So China becomes the new middle man?

The fate of the West Asian GCC nations show that having US bases on their territory is a liability not a plus.  East Asian nations are aware of this, and could very well review the US bases that they have.  Taiwan and China are making baby steps towards reunification with the slogan “Don’t let Taiwan be the Ukraine of the East.”  China may or may not be sending weapons and supplies to Iran – and the US is in no position to complain.  The conjecture is that China is sending lots, but only stuff that is quick for Iranians use (nothing that requires 6 months + training).

Many references to how dishonest and unreliable the US has become.

NEW: U.S. Elevates Defense Partnership With Indonesia To Major Cooperation Agreement
By Mackenzie Web. April 13, 2026.  Updated:April 13, 2026

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth recently announced a significant step for U.S. foreign policy with the establishment of a Major Defense Cooperation Partnership (MDCP) with Indonesia.

This agreement, finalized on April 13, 2026, strengthens the military alliance between the two nations and fosters peace and stability in the increasingly vital Indo-Pacific region.
The announcement highlights the strategic importance of the Strait of Malacca, a critical waterway for global oil shipments. Approximately half of the vessels that transit through this chokepoint are bound for China.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration confirms that the strait recorded over 94,000 vessel transits in 2024 alone, emphasizing its crucial role in international commerce and energy security.

Key objectives of the new defense pact include enhanced military exercises, advanced technology collaboration, and the modernization of defense capabilities.

This partnership aims to improve both nations’ joint operational readiness and military interoperability to address evolving security threats.

As articulated in the official announcement, “Under the new partnership, the two countries will pursue joint projects in cutting-edge areas.”

This encompasses areas like asymmetric warfare and autonomous systems technologies, which are vital for modern military engagements.

Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell reinforced the importance of this partnership, stating it represents a significant stride in countering regional threats amidst geopolitical tensions.

By boosting defenses and accentuating maritime security, especially around strategic locations like the Strait of Malacca, the U.S.-Indonesia partnership upholds the principle of “Peace through Strength.”
Indonesia stands to benefit significantly from this agreement as it continues its military modernization efforts.

Advancing defense technology and training capabilities aligns with Indonesia’s strategic goals and enhances its role as a regional security player. For the United States, this partnership offers a vital foothold that ensures safe passage for energy supplies and counterbalances China’s expanding influence in the region.

The timing of this agreement is crucial, especially considering that China relies heavily on the Strait of Malacca for its energy needs, with nearly 48% of its oil imports passing through this vital maritime route.
The bolstered U.S.-Indonesia alliance likely serves as a strategic counterbalance in the face of China’s increasing regional dominance.

This agreement not only advances strategic and tactical objectives but also reinforces the U.S. commitment to its allies in Southeast Asia.
Increasing the frequency and scope of multilateral military exercises, such as SUPER GARUDA SHIELD, leads to deeper cooperation and understanding. It fosters relationships that go beyond mere technology sharing, building lasting ties between military personnel.

A press release from the U.S. Department of War highlighted this sentiment, asserting, “This partnership is representative of the continued development of the U.S.-Indonesia bilateral defense relationship, built upon decades of cooperation.” Such enduring connections have historically contributed to greater stability in the region.

While military ties are now formalized, discussions are ongoing regarding further U.S. requests, including potential transit rights for aircraft in Indonesian airspace.

The Indonesian defense ministry has emphasized that all agreements will respect national sovereignty, reflecting a cautious but cooperative approach to operational collaboration.

As energy security remains a pressing global concern, maritime traffic through crucial routes like the Strait of Malacca is a foundational element of economic and security strategies.
The U.S. decision to reinforce its regional presence underscores the partnership’s strategic significance for maintaining essential trade routes and deterring future hostilities.

The elevation to an MDCP at this critical juncture sends a powerful message regarding the value of strategic alliances in safeguarding national interests across key regions.
As this partnership evolves, its effects on regional security dynamics, particularly concerning China, will be under close scrutiny from analysts and policymakers.

The agreement marks a notable shift in the U.S. approach to engaging with allies.

It demonstrates a commitment to regional partnerships that promote security and economic prosperity in a rapidly changing global landscape.

Secretary Hegseth’s announcement reflects not only a strategic enhancement of military ties but also a clear intention to foster peace and stability through active and effective defense diplomacy.

The wifley unit and I have been trying to figure out how the state of israel came to be since it was conquered in the BC times.  Typically conquered nations don’t get a do-over.  Since the 1947 balfour thingie happened does that mean westerners conquered the Palestinians which allowed the state of israel to be re-inserted into the region?  I still want to know how it came to be that the Palestinians allowed their land to become israeli land.  The Americans conquered the Native Americans, it would be weird if suddenly the Native Americans had a big chunk of American territory after having been conquered.

AI – “Jupiter became the king of the gods by killing his father, Saturn. This act was part of a myth where Saturn, fearing that his children would overthrow him, had previously eaten them, but Jupiter escaped and eventually led a rebellion against him.

Yes – there was a sweet city in the planes there that Alexander the Great so-called came upon and it got burned to the ground – a shame – but the culture remains.

Posted by: Ken Hausle | Apr 14 2026 2:36 utc | 383

OK – there has been no post here for a time – so I provide more detail:

Persepolis was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire that Alexander the Great sacked and burned down in 330 BC. Located in the plains of Marvdasht in Fars province, Iran, the city was a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the symbolic heart of Persian imperial power before its destruction.
Persepolis – Quick facts:

  • Founded: 6th century BC by Darius I, Xerxes I, and Artaxerxes I.
  • Destroyed: The palaces and wooden structures were consumed by fire in 330 BC following a Macedonian sack.
  • Reasons: Ancient sources suggest the fire was either a deliberate act of revenge for Xerxes’ burning of Athens or a drunken decision by Alexander during a feast at the urging of the Athenian courtesan Thaïs
  • Architectural Loss: The fire destroyed valuable royal archives, religious texts, and magnificent palaces, though the fire may have preserved the administrative archives by preventing their loss to natural decay.
  • Current Status: Today, it remains a ruin and a key Iranian cultural heritage site managed by the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran.

And so this is the whim of history I reckon – some courtesan spells the end of Persepolis – what a shame that was.

Zionissts choose palestine around 1900 for alliyah, “return”.  Strategy, buy up land.

by 1920 – 1930, land buying is slow, own about 2% of all land.   Jewish terrorist organizations start blowing up British soldiers and arab paramilitary units in battle for “freedom”   See Irgun, Hageneh.

1930s, British get annoyed, as they do with much of their empire, trying to keep their colonial subjects from killing each other.

Jews own abotu 3% of land now.

1940 – 1945, WW II.

1947 or so, new UN proposes new state of Israel, weird X division of land, Arabs get northern and southern deserts, Jews get western port and west bank/Jordan area.  Aliyah Jews now own about 3.5% of all Palestine.   Britain tired of colonial Empire.

1948 first act of UN, new state of Israel, wierd X shape carving.  Tawain gets China’s vote,  votes yes, Soviet Union votes yes, as Zionists originally were communists, wanted communist state, Soviet Union imagining new model soviet state run by Jews.  Britain, France, USA votes yes.  USA fist nation to recognize Israel.

Arab countries around Israel do not accept the giving of best lands to Israel for people who only own  about 3.5% of land and are only about 15% of population.   Declare war.   Coordination is a shit show,.  Israel somehow has a bunch of great US weapons that it was not supposed to have…. Egypt goes first, Syria balks, Jordan holds West bank, west Jerusalem, fine with that, Israel gets the rest through war after ceasefire is agreed upon certain day certain time, where flags are raised, that’s who gets the land.

During War, about 90% of Palestinians are kicked out of their homes, and lands, forced into Jordan and Lebanon, Egypt’s Gaza strip.

Bada bing, bada boom Israel gets statehood, Palestinians get a flag with key symbolizing right to return andto be refugees in impoverished bordering monarchies and republic of Lebanon.

Over the next 80 years, Israel continuously agrees to stop taking land for peace, keeps taking land, every fucking day.  Literally.

Story of Israel in a nutshell, not all figures and dates guaranteed accurate, but it’s close.

Most people think Israel started after WWII. It didn’t, it started much earlier and these two agreement were put in place around the tie of WWI

Taking Palestinian land and offering purely to the Zionist Jews. Previously Muslims, some Jews, and some Christians actually lived in Palestine together in relative peace:

so to answer your question, how did the palestinians allow their land to be taken by Zionists?  They thought they could live with them in peace, and had no problem with them buying  land to live there.

Should have resorted to terrorism and blew up every zionist man woman and child that set foot on Palestine, like the zionists were doing to the arabs and brits.

The previous peoples who lived in Palestine did not even know about secret Balfour Declaration nor the Sykes-Picot Agreement.

“…Trump’s attack on the Pope, his bishops and his church is a break with the conciliatory line which Vance and the Christians in the White House had been running last week. No US president has ever declared himself so hostile and so publicly.”

Honestly, My understanding is the Brits were tired of Palestine and India, both of which were burdening them with an empire they could not maintain after world war two, especially since zio-terrorists were blowing them up because they weren’t giving them their god given state fast enough.

And a lot of people do not understand how much of Israeli political class hate USA because they feel USA constrains them from getting greater Israel faster.  I wont say how many resent the USA today, and I dont remember the figures when reading about it 20 years ago.
