“Decision time for Trump | The David Hearst Podcast”

David Hearst (Middle East Eye) thinks that Iran could continue its attacks on Israel and other countries as long as Trump is not willing to stop the attacks on Libanon. And I think Hearst is right. In that regard we DO have a “Cease Fire”).

Happy Easter B, hope everything goes fine

would you suggest a good article on KMT’s leader meeting with Xi?

I already posted the central point (for me) of KMT not wishing that Taiwan become an Ukraine by tue sea, but I’m sure you have good sources for a more in depth comment.

I thought this interview was good, with deep background information.

In this episode, host Carl Zha and guest Shang Yu discuss the significance of KMT Chairwoman Cheng Li-wun’s historic mainland China visit (Nanjing → Shanghai → Beijing), the first KMT-CPC leadership meeting in a decade. They analyze the deeper political, historical, and economic layers of the trip, Taiwan’s internal politics, the role of the US and Japan, and how China’s rise is reshaping cross-strait dynamics.

Interesting, the implied parallel between usa’s softy power through hollywood 40 years ago and china’s through tik tok (my reading, not i video per se)

Also the DPP’s connection to the japanese rule comprador class/landed gentry (and how japan’s recent turn to an interventive/imperial past  might be the “best ally” for Xi)

What does the Canadian Jewish establishment have to say about ethnic cleansing, land theft and expansionism? Let’s ask the Israel office director of Canada’s Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs:

Israel’s borders must change

ISRAEL’S UPDATED security posture and strategic doctrine also means that the “borders” between it and its failed and/or hostile neighbors must change. What was between Israel and Gaza, Israel and Syria, and Israel and Lebanon, and Israel and the Palestinian Authority will be no more.

it goes on…

If you do not understand the Epstein affair, you do not understand what is going on with the world right now.
Melania’s speech was the most significant event of the past week: it was the signal that the Epstein class did not accept the the ceasefire. The Epstein class is fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian; the Epstein class is fighting Iran to the last American.
Also, beware the Chinese. The American military defeat in Vietnam was counterbalanced by the political victory of the Chinese betrayal toward the Soviet bloc. Only a Chinese betrayal could save again the USA. It seems improbable right now, but the USA could offer China everything they want to save themselves.

hopefully no one will take the bait on this Epstein crap. it’s not b/c there is no “there” there, but b/c by the time i hit enter on this post, israel’s made in america bombs will have killed more kids in a lebanese apartment than any Epstein could get “massages” from in a lifetime of hanging out with the MIT donor class.

plus all the kids the west is starving. plus all the kids being tortured by ICE.

Measure for Measure – better to be “lawful hangman” than “unlawful pimp,” even when, as in the bard’s M4M, it’s not the pimp who gets punished, but the ho. it’s a free market! for weapons and nooses, not condoms.

Don’t all these “Christians”, esp in the West, know that at the uprising of the dead, all the dead Christians (and others) in Lebanon, Iran, Gaza, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, VZ, Cuba, Ukraine, and Russia will rise up and drown out their message of “resurrection” with a curse?

don’t these “Christians” care about all the other Christians being slaughtered by their “Christian” governments? of course not.

Jesus said, “You will know my followers by their love.” This is the only verse in the Christian Bible any person needs to tell Christians to go fuck themselves.

“There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

“Out of the mouths of babes comes praise.”

The church transforms “Kindertoten” into “Kindertotenlieder.” like Adrian Leverkuhn’s eternal punishment in Mann’s Faust, they get to listen to the children themselves, not their aestheticization of others’ sufferings, their miracle of transforming the misery of the world into their own personal virtue.

Not bad.  He seems to understand how unpopular the war is in the US.

The war pushed the Artemis space trip into the back pages, but many are still interested in what’s happening in that realm. Yesterday, Putin met with the head of Roscosmos to hear his report and discuss plans. The conversation’s been translated and can be read here.

Strawman!

Anyone got any thoughts on the Strawman Theory?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strawman_theory

I only ask as I’ve just installed a solar powered electric fence system for a mate I know from the stable lad community.

He’s Irish and he’s just brought this small plot of land for his horse. He reckons he’s going to keep his horse there and put a shed there for the hay and brushes and then he’s going to move into the shed and live there.

I explained that he probably wouldn’t be able to do that but he insisted that if any buzzybods from the council bothered him, he would ask them to talk to his Strawman. He said he would post his Strawman identity on the premises and their legal entity can argue with his legal entity.

Well, I practically laughed my cockrel off at the absurdity of it. I explained that they would just send some grunts round and drag him to court.

He did seem to accept that possibility but said that would be years and years away and by then he would have another shed on another plot.

Makes one wonder just how much truth is in the Strawman Theory if pushed to the limit of state sanctioned violence?

Thanks for bringing this up…

It’s fascinating to see the libertarian right take up postmodernity and weaponising it. The wiki page you linked is full of attempts to wave aside the arguments as somehow not based in reality. Of course the problem with that is the law in itself is a social fiction to begin with. So we’re back to square one. You have to laugh when you watch lawyers attempting to ground the law in metaphysics. In which case one must play their metaphysical hand against them: the law cannot be a framework of regulation historically bound to underpin class interests (and therefore ever changing and adapting to new conditions) and at the same time be a transcendental and universal transhistorical principle. So why not test the bullshit? One is reminded of what persona literally means in Latin…

The same argument cannot be valid in one sphere of life and not another. Consider trans-rights. This rests on the same assumption as strawman theory. In that case one says “though designated a gender at birth the real person that I am is separate and denies that designation”. Two personas then, the legal and the real. Yet the wikipedia entry would never dare to describe trans-rights as ‘pseudolaw’!

Marx drew all of this out nicely in his famous essay On the Jewish Question and his Critique of Hegel’s Philosophy of Right. Concepts like the law, state, value, God and so on are alibis for concrete social relations. One can attempt to dismiss movements like these (sovereign citizens, strawmen, etc) as part of the bogeyman of the ‘far-right’, but they are in fact disclosures of the metaphysical fictions that organise life for the sake of preserving certain kinds of social relations (i.e. expropriative ones).

On space. Provide your own milk and sugar if too bitter :3 XD (but I am smiling after writing this; it is cathartic and liberating, it made me happier). I don’t drink coffee and this might be something nastier. Whatever this is it looks pitch black but black is a lovely color too.

Yes I know the history (including quite a bit of time before and apart from the “rehabilitated” SS Von Braun (with Mickey Mouse in tow (play the club song in you head lol))) but even so one can joke that “space” has made a funny orbit going from nazi through nazi to nazi. On second thought it looks more like a full stop/period and dead end; all nazi all the time XP

My past self would absolutely hate me! XD (but I am in a position to understand and sympathize with my past self. That would likely make it worse haha).

I used to be interested in space and rocketry and I still sort of am. My interest had survived at the very least half a century of many white elephants, “pdf hell”, the whole L7 (or whatever it was) thing, dreams and advocacy of impossible and/or impractical monumental approaches (even trying to start a conversation of why the orbital colonies plans are unworkable was maybe the only time I deeply offended my own dad —and I absolutely love the general ideas myself!), the mostly flawed allegation of “only going in circles”, ITAR, the congressional “jobs programs”, and “cost plus”, or even the now mostly dead attempts at private revitalization. That’s a lot! But no more. Bigelow too if he/they are still puttering about.

So I am not bothered nor sad that “America” (including the “new” entrants —successful or not (I am not a SpaceX hater, followed them from the start, loved their success after their initial nearly utter failure, now simply indifferent)) has managed to make space exploration unsexy and distasteful (to me at least).

As with many things it took me long enough; it’s not going to change. I don’t need the US to dream of things that will go nowhere or worse end up meaningless compared to the rest of everything if they actually do manage to go somewhere and do something (and no; the rest of humanity don’t impress me much either, so far). Fuck the US; go away.

It’s just nerd bait now, doubly so if they “do” anything. They could land a human on Mars and I wouldn’t care. Same for an actual lunar outpost.

No Brownie points for you USA! No “A for effort” (more like F- but no, not that either). No “goodwill to all mankind”. “You”/”they” all died but didn’t realize it.

Anyway my whiny rant is now over, it was perhaps close to the full extent of my last remaining tiny bit of interest and is now hopefully gone: expunged lol XD

Check this out:

In return, Iran must commit to ‘open’ the Strait of Hormuz, which it can’t do because it’s not in their remit. Most believe that Iran unilaterally closed off the Strait; it was not closed by Iran, but by the City of London, through its banksters and the Lloyds Insurance Market, with its monopoly of insurers and reinsurers. Thus, this is not a ‘ceasefire’, it is a ‘stay of execution’ and is following a path of so many other past agreements. It will be violated by both sides from day one draped in a cloak of obscurity as demonstrated in Gaza and Lebanon. The cracks had already appeared on Thursday, April 9.

That is truly amazing.

I don’t view that as ecumenicism because I deeply want a reconciliation between the west and the east seeing as how we are the ones who have protected the Doctrine of the Real Presence. If we must as Latin-rite learn more about our Heritage then so we certainly should. You know me: I am no Russophobic Catholic, unlike many in our pews. I DO think Eastern-Rite might do well by studying the ramifications of Vatican II which gave the Church back to the Laity. I feel like this is a stumbling block for Orthodox when it comes to their view of the Holy See.

@ Juliania

I meant to tell someone this other than my wife and daughter who know my body’s ailment intimately. I will tell my young Priest who gave me the Office of Confession before receiving the Blessed Sacrament during our Easter Vigil Mass.

My intestinal lining has been extremely damaged for years and this winter’s infections have done a double number on me. I have been in a good amount of pain due to it and leading up to Easter Sunday during Holy Week, it certainly ratcheted up the intensity.

I sat on the end of the pew, telling my family I might need a quick exit to the toilet during the three hour Vigil Mass.

But believe me, Juliania, I was ever so struck by a profound feeling of ease in my gut and diminishment of pain once I sat down that I managed the Celebration without leaving the pews once. I had not felt that level of comfort in my gut for a very long time.

It is no Marian Apparition and I don’t expect people to make pilgrimage to my little rambler house in the PAC NW. But for me it was a very meaningful moment I will not forget. Anyone who suffers from a debilitating autoimmune disease would do very well to head to Mass!

juliania | Apr 13 2026 1:57 utc | 553  From the Iran thread.

Two others know a bit about it and no doubt have better memories than me at the moment. Jane I think has done a bit of research into it and also the other Peter – I forget his full username.

Although it kicked of around the 1880’s, there was no Zionism in Europe as we know it now prior to then. A rabbi here a rabbi there perhaps through the centuries but it would disappear again with those individual Rabbi’s. The jews on the whole though never integrated, spoke yiddish throughout Europe and for that reason distrusted. various programs and whatever through the centuries because they were not trusted then the programs of eastern Europe. Current day Zionism entered the scene nid 1870’s to 1880’s. the Brits were in there at that stage and nurtured it. Small umbers moved to Palestine prior to WWII. But it was after WWII that the zionism of today got going.
That part of it I have not researched a lot but the Americans forcing themselves on the Zionists around the ime the Zios attacked USS Liberty. Who was the US president then Johnson? There was also flyovers with the SR-72 blackbirds so the Americans could see if they require replacement tanks and whatever in the wars with Egypt and the Arabs. that was in the 60’s.  After the Nabka in I think 47, the American had quickly recognized the Zionist jews as a state. At what point Zionists became the majority in Judaism I do not know.

In my younger years, I simply don’t remember this massive promotion of Zionism we have have now. Perhaps that was different in other parts of the west.

But it was with the genocide of the Palestinians of Gaza that I looked at the numbers of jews marching in the pro genocide marches and the number of Jews marching in the anti genocide marched. At what point it could be said that mainstream Judaism was Zionism I don’t know but at some point in the 2000s if not the late 1900s.

But I guess it was in reading the Epstein files I saw the idiocy of religiously say the not good jews were zionists. Judaism in general – 95% is Zionism. There are a few very tiny minorities who are not Zionist but mainstream Judaism now is Zionism.

Do you have a diagnosed disease. If not, you are in deep shit. If not and your family are believers of mainstream media then you are in deep shit.

A big thing in livestock husbandry is recognizing Mineral deficiencies and that sort of thing. Generally not a university trained vet does that rather a farmer whose family has been raising livestock for generations. Once I began collapsing because of an electrolyte deficiency, my family considered me a drunken old fool, began lying to me then left me. They thought I was a fool also because I researched the future world of my children and grandchildren as I could not do much else. What is to come now, the economic disaster of energy caused by the goodness of those they looked up to…… what to say. I wish them every misery and hope to live to see it.

There is nothing worse than digestive disease because it is rarely diagnosed and cured. All medical research has now gone to big pharma who are more interested in pentagon bio labs. Much easier and more profitable to make a disease then provide the cure.

Clear my throat and try to do a her hum. Cross dressing is I suspect a little different to pain. Though if the knickers are a bit tight, it may cause some discomfort as the dentist would say. Dentists, that brings back a couple of memories. Likely trained to pull horses teeth and I strongly suspect, more painful than too tight drag knickers.

Judaism in general – 95% is Zionism. There are a few very tiny minorities who are not Zionist but mainstream Judaism now is Zionism.

Thank you, Peter for following my suggestion!  But no,  judaism is a great faith and zionism is not it.  It doesn’t matter how many have lost their way that would claim to be part of that faith.  I will say more tomorrow, sorry to be brief.  You have to count as jews all who have existed in that faith, not just the ones presently calling themselves such.  I have known some in my college years, friends and teachers, and whether they are few or many they represent a tradition that is time honored as the aborigines or maori do in our home states.

We Orthodox have sung the following during Holy Week:

“…   Enclosed, but not held down, lay Jonah in the belly of the whale;  for bearing Thy pattern in suffering and accepting burial , as from an inner chamber,  he sprang forth from the monster,  and calls out to the watching guard: “O custodians of vain and foolish things, Mercy lies there within, which you have abandoned  … “

The computer industry is going to go through crazy like everywhere else.
I am reading that recent graduates in IT are not finding jobs and even the jobs in IT are shrinking because of supposed “benefits” of AI.

What this produces is some real talented and pissed off young folks as this posting at The Register documents

Two different attackers poisoned popular open source tools – and showed us the future of supply chain compromise

First, attackers hit Trivy, a vulnerability scanner with more than 100,000 users and contributors that is embedded in thousands of CI/CD pipelines. Up next: Axios, an open-source JavaScript library that has about 100 million weekly downloads and runs in 80 percent of cloud and code environments.
“Both of these campaigns will likely play out over several months,” Mandiant Consulting CTO Charles Carmakal told The Register. “The data that was taken a few weeks ago will likely be leveraged this week, next week, next month – probably for several months – and the blast radius will continue to expand.”

In total, TeamPCP stole credentials for more than 10,000 organizations, according to Carmakal, although that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve since compromised that many environments to steal data or perform other nefarious acts.
“North of 10,000 organizations were likely impacted,” he said. “It was really interesting and quite alarming to see how many credentials these folks had successfully obtained from a whole bunch of compromise endpoints.”

“Social engineering isn’t going away,” according to Biasini. “It’s going to get really bad with deep fakes, voice cloning, and video cloning. Organizations should already be planning for secure phrases, secure objects.” He’s talking about a physical object, something you have on your desk that you can pick up and prove your identity to the person on the other end of the video call.
“Making sure that you have the things in place now to deal with the stuff that’s going to be coming, because soon you’re going to have your CEO or your boss showing up on a video call demanding that you do something that seems odd. And if you don’t have these protections built in already, it’s going to be hard to stand them up.”

The article talks about the attack group having compromised a bank in New Hampshire which may still be compromised….and one of the commenters said he had his ID compromised by the group, had to sell his home and move back in with his mother……Pissed off techies can cause a LOT of damage to our world and  this group hasn’t been stopped yet, eh?

PeterAU is correct in his screed regarding BigPharma vs. digestive illness.  A buddy of mine was in and out of top notch emergency rooms for 12 months with a digestive illness.  Nearly killed him. Orban has been ejected. Stooge Magyar will allow Ukraine into the EU, break ties with Russia. The US leaves NATO and the EU can fight its own war with Russia. Meanwhile Trump picks a fight with some other country and leave Israel to deal with Iran. The stage is set, its all so damn predictable. Feels like I am back in the late 1990’s watching WWF wrestling. Every time I visit this blog I remember the quote from H.L.Mencken, “Democracy is the art and science of running the circus from the monkey cage”.

No wonder , he was a grifter like Trump. He loved the EU and loved it when it expanded and wanted Bosnia to join.

He hated the politics of it because it wasn’t right wing enough for him. Even though the Overton window has very sharply moved to the right since the 80’s and now, sits in the middle of the right wing spectrum and nowhere near the middle. How far right did he want it to.go ?

He should have spent the last 15 years campaigning to leave it rather than trying to make it a far right wet dream of his.

Because he didn’t leave it and because Brussels decides how much Hungary can spend and how much Hungary can tax . The EU was always going to eat him alive.

So much of this crap crap called serious news by our propaganda is so bloody ridiculous. The minds of the peasants have been numbed downed to level of a three year old that this simplestons propaganda can be printed. I am not religious juliania but I dont count the two prophets of Judaism in that. Historically, the two most influential men in history. I guess to me, these two beliefs can be a path to extremism or a path to good guidance. I don’t mean that disparegingly but spending a bit of time in the wilderness, I often watched and wondered about the birds and the bees. Those who have gone through the various avenues of higher education…

NC who in this thread would have had a first hand view of the big pharma calling and its followers. Ridiculed by those about him….

NC – Crohns disease. Do some tests with citric acid. A diet high in citric acid. A diet with zero citric acid.  The last part of the gut re-absorbs the digestive electrolytes. None are available that I know of. One part of normal table salt. 2,8 or more parts potassium salt.Magnesium must be slightly higher than standard sodium salt. Aka the massive money making disease of high blood pressure.Normally critical that mag is slightly higher than sodium. Calcium and phos.. Sodium chloride and a potassium chloride give sufficient chloride. The six digestive electrolytes.
Potassium. Chloride. Sodium. Magnesium. Phosphorus. Calcium. My teeth have all crumbled and my gut stopped working to a point I fell down and could not get up again till a mate came round and sat me back on my chair.  The digestive electrolytes are the big losses in that part of the gut disease.

Likely a thing where everyone has to test their own specific mix of the big six. Sometimes I have to add in more potasium.

Not a single high priced tooth puller, not a single Pfizer doc bothered to diagnose my phos deficiency. Like the other five, criticval for digestive function. High salaried wankers. After market snake oil peddlers no different. High priced frauds that so many dumped by the Pfizer industry go too. Sweet talking like a ukrainian sex on a stick looking for a sugar daddy.

The six electrolytes. They are big losses in what the medical industry calls Crohns disease. Self test with citric acid. See what effect that has.  High citric acid and I shit blood. Along with some pretty extreme lower gut pain. Fuck the system pigs. Test that and I would be very interested to know the results. Pics of the toilet bowl results not necessary.

Orban. Nutty and the Trumpster were likely his undoing. Whatever. The Hungarians will now go the way of the ukroids.

So many are shallow minded and require an off the shelf belief system. Good in bygone days. Fatal in these days. Critical thinking. A critical necessity that the gods of crazy are at the moment with-holding.

give people a choice between a smooth well paved road that leads over a cliff, and a rough dirt road that leads to the future and the vast majority will take the smooth paved road of ease.

Smartass morons cruising down the paved road of the Americans. With Iran, that cliff edge is fast approaching. Lira’s system pigs. The not too distant future will be a porker slaughterhouse in the west.

NC, all off the shelf electrolytes are for heavy sweating. System pigs believe in the crap. Look up the chemical composition of sweat. Sodium and chloride are the big two so anyone with a good digestive system only needs extras of those two. Snake oil is a massive money making industry. Knowing the digestive electrolytes is critical.

Juliania, I don’t mean any disrespect to the non extremist spiritual beliefs. Although I don’t have it, a need to believe in something is strong in many Clinging to a foundation in turbulent perhaps.

From what I can certain, early spiritual beliefs originates from well founded observations that in those times could not be tested with modern science and they were certainly not brainwashed by pfizer type for profit science and american psyops. Many of those ancient observations hold true today as they are observations of nature, astute observations of the birds and the bees, and must be taken seriously.

Those who have not gone through hardship are the pathetic. My younger bother. Bigger than me me had never in his life hard gone through long term pain. Very tough when it came to momentary pain. A high shock line. Shock is a physical thing not mental. Magnesium. Considered himself a tough guy because he had not suffered illness. Smashecd his leg and foot and handled the short term pain well. A nasty injury, his heel bone popping out of his foot, all the toe bones smashed. Not an issue.

But then arthritis set in to his smashed but healed foot. Long term pain. That was a different matter. He turned to water. A wimp who had disparaged me as chronic physical illness brought me to a stop could not handle a single year of pain. A watery wimp.  No matter the education level, Liras system pigs are all the same. Dumbfucks that believe the propaganda. Cannon fodder.

my brother, thought of himself as a tough guy but turned out a wimp. A watery buttercup. Same as most who are believers in this western propaganda. Weak as gins piss one and all. No brain power for original thought.
That Wisco who earlier tried to hump my leg- I guess I am not polite to doggies squirting baby making material onto my leg but whatever Zero capacity for observation and original thought. System pigs. The peasants are bad, church or no church makes no difference. They are always given a religion to believe in. The acyloits of higher education are far worse. The British education system. Two cheers and a raspberry to western anglo education. Emphasis on the raspberry.

Dont mind my spelling. This russian browser…. There is a funny video of Putin correcting his translator. But this Russian browser is worse at spelling than me. My typos and standard misspellings have it stumped.

re: USSR and Russian Orthodox icons

fb-post by Alexey Golubev, Univ. of Houston, on a new study from Manchester Univ. Press
Would be interesting to know if some of these statements are not contestable.

Soviet materialitiesSocialist things, environments and affectsEdited by Mollie Arbuthnot, Christianna Bonin and Gabriella Ferrarihttps://manchesteruniversitypress.co.uk/9781526182128/

“(…)

I focus on Russian Orthodox icons to demonstrate how their transformation into objects of museum expertise and historical heritage was intricately connected with the survival and transfer of imperial and ethno-national narratives during the Soviet era. …

There is an obvious correlation between the collections of colonial art and culture in imperial museums and the collections of icons in Soviet and later Russian museums. This includes their mutual origins in the violent dispossession of native owners, their foundation in the radical recontextualisation of functional objects into evidence of historical or artistic progress, the spatial redefinition of objects of collection (local objects serve as synecdoche for national or global processes, thus losing their locality), and their effect: the production of the modern enlightened subject. However, while conversations on colonial legacies of European and North American museums and on the restitution of looted colonial art have been increasingly prominent globally, the status of old icons as quintessentially museum pieces is barely challenged in Russia. The restitution of old icons to the Russian Orthodox Church is one of the few things that unites the otherwise helplessly divided Russian educated class in a harshly negative reaction to such developments. The recent transfer of what is arguably the most famous Russian Orthodox icon, Andrei Rublev’s fifteenth-century Trinity, back to its original location, the Trinity Lavra of St Sergius (it was painted for its iconostasis), was an exemplary case of almost universal condemnation of the de-museumification of a historic icon in Russian non-government-controlled news outlets and on social media. The staff of the Tretyakov Gallery where the Trinity stayed for ninety years during most of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries attempted to sabotage the transfer through claims of the icon’s fragility and need for repairs, triggering a mass panic that its relocation from the museum would become a major blow not just to the material integrity of the Trinity but to the very Russian culture.

That is food for thought.  Russia is a big country – I mean really – even with many of the maps being “off” with respect to size in reality in relation to the equator, Russia nonetheless is the largest sovereign country if I got my facts correct.  But talk about a “melting pot” – Russia got dibs on that – not the us of a I reckon.  After those Mongols had their fun I reckon they sort of departed and sort of didn’t and Russia grew into a large country with many natural resources no doubt.

From a religious perspective, not my forte, but at some point Russia basically went Orthodox in their faith.  And let me tell you – that Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces is really special – so I share  link that was public and hopefully still is in that regard – from a fella seems respectful to me – so I share this in good faith.

Thank you, Ken, so much.  The video is breathtaking — and to have it available here is a lovely part of an Easter week celebration for me that you have gifted me.  The art work is beautiful and the use of curved stained glass patterns and detailed wall patterns give an eastern quality that is ethereal and restful at the same time.

I posted a while back how a visitor to the north Africa desert where all broken bits of artillery and machines stretched to the horizon in all directions.  That vision of where my father and uncles fought during WW2 now has an iconic counterpoint — magnificent!  I have met Russian iconographers when they came to Santa Fe one Eastertime  — what they accomplish is far and away much greater than what I amateurishly attempt; it is rightfully humbling to see.  Alex Christoforou did a video walking around this complex  in Moscow, so just a bit of the outside statuary and buildings was visible as he walked, nothing like this.

Well done, extremely well done.  Thank you again.

In response:

The phrase “Non dago Jesus?” (Where is Jesus?) and “Non dago Jaungoikoaren ama?” (Where is God’s mother?) are central questions in Christian theology, particularly in the context of the Easter season and the Resurrection.
Where is Jesus?
According to Christian belief, following his resurrection, Jesus is no longer physically present on Earth in the same way he was before his crucifixion. He is believed to be:

  • In Heaven: Jesus ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.
  • In the Eucharist: Catholics and many other Christians believe that Jesus is spiritually and sacramentally present in the Eucharist (the consecrated bread and wine).
  • In the Faithful: Jesus is also believed to be present in the community of believers (the Church) and in the hearts of those who have faith in him.

Where is God’s Mother (Mary)?
Mary, the mother of Jesus, is believed to be:

  • In Heaven: Catholic and Orthodox traditions teach that Mary was assumed body and soul into heaven after her death.

Juliania.

Read your comment in the last open thread. Have been hit hard with illness over the last week or so.

We watch the winds of history. Long forgotten in American/hollywood teve. Thinking back, the greatest mistake I ever made was teaching my children to respect their mother as they became adults.

Dealing with physical illness. Weakness is not an option in the western world of Epophilia.n My former children, All brainwashed and led into the maws of American pedophilia by their brain dead mother.

The Epstein Empire of the Jews, much promoted on western tv has now hit the rock or iceberg of Iran. The band plays on, the fools dance, but the good ship AIPAC is going down. The blood sucking parasites have killed their prey.

A wasted life. I was married in a local church. My brother in big black marker pen wrote help me on the soles of my shoes. In the last decade ridiculed me for chronic illness. Now in and out of hospital with illness. He has the physical weakness he once despised and cannot bring himself to talk to me. Weak inside and cannot handle long term pain. Last time we talked was a year or more back. Already ill at that stage, he answered the unknown number and we talked for several hours. A very weak mind, like that of my son.

That flying I did. Second best was simply not an option. They all wanted to live and all died. When this hit me, I stopped doing preflights. Forgot to fuel it up a couple of times.  Strapped on some tie wire to wire bits back on that fell off. And still that machine would not fall out of the air.

Doomed to live when others die. The inexplicable stuff of simply remaining alive…

The totality of a Xinhuanet posting

BEIJING, April 14 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in Beijing on Tuesday.

What sort of bribes will the UAE offer China to convince China to support their tinpot dictatorship?
It will be interesting to see if there is more Xinhuanet press about the meeting forthcoming……….geopolitics real time, eh?

Duh!….I answered my own question…more from Xinhuanet

BEIJING, April 13 (Xinhua) — Chinese Premier Li Qiang said on Monday that China is ready to further play a constructive role and contribute to the restoration of peace and tranquility in the Gulf region.
Li made the remarks when meeting with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Beijing, noting that since the conflict in Iran broke out, China has been in close communication with relevant parties and actively committed to promoting peace and ending the war.
Li hoped that the UAE will continue to take effective measures to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens, institutions and projects in the country.

I am still not sure of anything.

A bit of Canadiana — Carney’s liberal party did win the three by-elections and now holds a majority in parliament.
Hot Daddy Summer? That’s what the comedy sketch I linked to promised (“Prime Minister’s office, talk to Daddy” “Mark, it’s Donald, your downstairs neighbour.”)
The American president is calling to ask Carney if Canada wants to join in on an invasion of Iran. Then, he follows by saying, “And would you be interested in invading Canada in June?” “Excusez – me??” “Oh wait, that was for Russia.”
Anyway – Carney promises a Hot Daddy Summer if he wins a majority. He’s won a majority (where’s the line between art and real life on this one.)
interestingly, the panel on CBC’s the National didn’t include prominent Québécois political commentator, Chantal Hebert. … not available, I guess, Catherine Cullen filled in for her. But – something to watch for.
Strait talk, with Canada:
Strait of Georgia, Juan de Fuca Strait, Hudson Strait, Northumberland Strait, Dixon Entrance, plus two with Greenland: Davis Strait and Nares Strait

No, I have not.  It looks very beautiful in the photo I see online, and its history is impressive.  I worked for seven months in Santa Fe’s first church,  San Miguel Mission Church.  My job was to open the big front door  and sit inside taking a dollar from folk entering to listen to a recorded message, five days a week.  The history of that church is similar, but the pueblo revolt is included in that because townspeople took refuge in the church during the revolt.  I loved working there.  The church has massive adobe walls and a clerestory window which radiates the altar space at Christmastime.

“irradiates” or “illuminates” would be better.

Thank you for that, Peter.  Some say the Trinity icon of Rublev is proof of the existence of God, but I rather say that there must be a God, and a compassionate one at that,  as only such could keep track of the varied existences that make up the lives of ordinary people, who are in essence quite extraordinary.

I think he’s keeping track of you, whether you like it or not.  I had a friend whose last words, according to his sister, were:  ‘I guess I’ll just have to let the mystery be.’

I’ll tell a story, Peter.  When I first came to live out here, I was so taken with the scenery that I stepped out of my car leaving the motor running …   and locked it leaving the key in the ignition.  Well,  I stood out there for some time waiting for another vehicle to come along.  When one did, it turned out to be the governor of the nearby pueblo, who hid his amusement very well, and who knew that a stiff wire could jimmy the window of my old car  (which of course was tight shut).

Problem solved.
