War On Iran: The Saudis’ Alternative Crude Export Outlet Is Also A Trap

Saudi Arabia is trying to avoid damage from the war on Iran by diverting oil exports from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea through its East-West pipeline. This scheme however will fail at least as long as it takes part in that war.

During the 1980s the rulers of Saudi Arabia feared that another war between Iran and Iraq would close the Strait of Hormuz. In normal times Saudi Arabia would export between 6 to 8 million barrels of crude oil per day through its Persian Gulf side harbors. The closure of the Strait would have threatened all oil export capabilities for Saudi crude.

bigger
A pipeline system was built to allow for the divergence of crude from the Saudi east coast in the Persian Gulf to its west coast at the Red Sea. The system consisted of two strings – one for crude, the other for natural gas liquids. The capacity of the pipeline is about 5 million barrels per day for crude plus an additional 2 million barrels if the natural gas pipeline is converted to crude and used too.

The East-West pipeline, also known as Petroline, ends at the Read Sea harbor city of Yanbu where several refineries convert a share of the crude to products that are locally used. The crude oil export capacity of Yanbu is estimated to be  between 3 to 5 million barrels per day.

Due to the recent USraeli war on Iran the Strait of Hormuz was closed. Saudi Arabia immediately reacted by diverting crude from its eastern ports through the East-West pipeline towards Yanbu.

According to Windward:

Saudi Arabia has reportedly curtailed approximately 2.0–2.5 million barrels per day of offshore production, including output from the Safaniya, Marjan, Zuluf, and Abu Safa fields, representing roughly 20% of national output.

Saudi Arabia has pivoted onshore Arab Light volumes onto the 7 million b/d Petroline, pushing Yanbu exports to approximately 2.47 million b/d, a 330% increase compared with pre-crisis levels.

That shift is now visible in fleet behavior. Twenty-seven VLCCs are currently heading toward Yanbu, compared with 18 vessels for Jeddah and three each for Jizan, Duba, and Rabigh. This concentration indicates that Yanbu is now serving as the primary outlet for Petroline-delivered crude and the central node of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea export workaround.

bigger

Notice the (blue) Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) on the map coming from Asia, passing through the Arabian Sea, along the Gulf of Aden, through the narrow Bab el-Mandeb strait passage and into the Red Sea. This is a one-way road as VLCCs are too big to pass through the Suez Canal at the north-west (upper left) corner of the map. These ships will have to come back along the same route that takes them to Yanbu.

The Saudi rulers have done well with the diversion of oil from the eastern to the western export facilities. This move would have been a winning one if the closure of Hormuz had been caused by a war between Iran and Iraq.

This war however was launched by the U.S. and Israel and, as a U.S. vassal, Saudi Arabia is part of it. Its airports and air-space are used for fueling U.S. airplanes which are bombing Iran. Last night five U.S. Air Force refueling planes were struck and damaged on the ground at Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia.

Iran has allies which have helped it to widen the war to the region. Shia militia in Iraq have attacked local U.S. bases. Hizbullah in Lebanon is diverting Israeli forces by dragging them into a local fight. Then there Ansar Islam, aka the Houthi, in Yemen which says it is ready to soon join the struggle on the side of Iran:

Senior Houthi official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti says the group has decided to stand militarily with Iran and will announce “Hour Zero” (start of action) at the appropriate time.

Between 2015 and 2022 the Saudis fought, and lost, a war against the Houthi of Yemen. During that war, in May 2019, the Saudi East-West pipeline took hits:

The Houthis, who are at war with Saudi Arabia, said earlier Tuesday they launched seven drones targeting vital Saudi installations, without elaborating. They later claimed responsibility for the pipeline attack in comments broadcast by Houthi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari.

The Saudis did not immediately assign blame for the drone assaults, which targeted two oil pumping stations west of the capital supplying the pipeline that runs from the east of Saudi Arabia to the Yanbu Port on its western coast.

Saudi Aramco, the government-controlled oil company, said that as a precaution, it temporarily shut down the East-West Pipeline and contained a fire, which caused minor damage to one pumping station.

In October 2023, out of solidarity with people of Gaza who were under attack by Israel, the Houthi closed the Bab el-Mandeb and Red Sea for all U.S./Israel aligned traffic. The U.S. Navy tried for several months to reopen the Red Sea but failed. In October 2025, after a ceasefire in Gaza, the Houthi did lift their Red Sea blockade.

Now U.S. President Donald Trump is dreaming of Chinese war ships to help him reopen the Strait of Hormuz. This as Iran is planing, with the help of the Houthi, to also close Bab el-Mandeb and to shut down Red Sea traffic:

Iranian decision makers indicate that the Americans appear to be failing to understand that, for Iran, this is an existential war. In such a context, nothing is considered too precious to sacrifice.

With the approval of the new leader, Sayyed Mojataba Khamenei, it was agreed that if the US strikes or lands on any Iranian installations, Tehran is prepared to escalate dramatically.

Possible approved responses include:
1. Closure of Bab el Mandeb and attacks on Red Sea ports exporting oil, expanding the war to a vital global shipping route.

The Saudi move to divert crude oil export from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea via the East-West pipeline was smart and timely. But it will not help as long as the Saudis are part of the USraeli side in the war on Iran.

The East-West pipeline has already been proven to be vulnerable to drone attacks launched from Iran or the Houthi controlled parts of Yemen. The Saudi Red Sea export outlet in Yanbu will be cut off from most global traffic when the Houthi decide to again close the Red Sea and to stop traffic through Bab el Mandeb.

Saudi export will then be restricted to Suez-sized tankers which can reach Yanbu through the canal without passing Yemen. Any VLCC currently moving into the Read Sea to load in Yanbu will be effectively trapped.

Iranian National Strategy

This is pure speculation on my part.  Israel’s security and survival depend on U.S. support and defense.  Without the U.S., Israel poses a minor threat to Iran.  Put Israel together with the U.S. and Iran gets what you all see it getting.  The U.S. is Iran’s key target.  Without the U.S., Iran will have little problem destroying Israel.  The question is, “How do you get the U.S. withdraw its support of Israel?”

U.S. power rests on several pillars: financial, industrial, innovation, social cohesion.  The petrodollar and the global dollar system allows the U.S. to profit from most of the world’s international trade.  For example, if Indonesia wants to buy pomegranates from Turkey, it must convert its local rupiah into dollars.  That system is run by the U.S., or licensed to other organizations such as the EU.  When Indonesia converts its rupiah into dollars, it pays a fee to the U.S.  Indonesia then sends the dollars to Turkey.  Turkey sends pomegranates to Indonesia.  Turkey now needs to convert the dollars into Turkish lira.  The U.S. gets a fee for that transaction.  There is one last step.  The pomegranates.  However, the shipping is paid in dollars.  Regardless of who pays for the shipping, Turkey or Indonesia, the U.S. gets a fee paid for the use of dollars when the shipping is paid.

As you can see, the dollar system is a constant source of income for the U.S.  Much of that goes into the private banks of ultra rich trillionaire merchant bankers of some particular tribal affiliation, but a large amount goes to pay bribes to undermine governments, to pay rabble to riot, to arm terrorist groups, to develop bioweapons, etc.  The petrodollar works in a similar way.  Every time a barrel of oil transfers hands, money flows into the U.S.  The petrodollar is more complicated, but that’s the simple answer.

If Iran wants to undermine the U.S. financially, it needs to unravel the global dollar system and the petrodollar.  How would it do that?  Well . . . you see how you would do that.  First, Iran bottles up the oil in the middle east by closing the Strait of Hormuz and attacking oil ports outside of the strait.  Then it allows Chinese ships to load oil which was paid for in yuan.  This one simple transaction between Iran and China attacks both the global dollar system and the petrodollar.  Iran is offering the same deal to other countries, and it appears the list of countries willing to buy Iranian oil using local currencies is growing.

On a side note, the war between Ukraine and Russia has also undermined the global dollar system and the petrodollar.  Every day that war continues, Europe degrades into economic collapse and the U.S.’s financial and economic system weakens slightly.

I listed four pillars of U.S. strength: financial, industrial, innovation, social cohesion.  Iran is attacking the financial pillar.  The industrial pillar was already badly degraded beginning in the 1990s as U.S. politicians working for a certain tribal group began moving U.S. factories to China.  This tribal group had placed agents in China associated with the ruling Shanghai clique.  The idea was once most of the U.S.’s power had been moved to China, the tribal group would leave the U.S. China would become its new base of operations.  Except, Xi’s election as president led to a mass anti-corruption campaign which destroyed that tribal group’s influence and most members declared aliyah and fled to Israel.  That has forced the tribal group to begin the process of rebuilding U.S. industry.  This is part of what you see with the so called Trump administration’s moves on tariffs, etc.  However, you can’t undo twenty years of deliberate industrial sabotage in one or two years.  Part of the destruction of American industry was a destruction of the American educational system.  This has led to a decline in American innovation.  You see most advancements coming from China now.  Finally, the tribal group, as it left the U.S., appears to have planned a Roman Empire style collapse of the U.S.  This would have been the destruction of U.S. industry, education and the importation of millions of low skilled immigrants.  These immigrants have destroyed social cohesion in the U.S.  Most people up to their late twenties are both apathetic and rage filled.  You wouldn’t think those two would go together, but they do.

The point is, Iran is attacking the U.S. financial system by selling oil in local currencies and preventing other Gulf states from selling their oil in dollars.  This is aimed ultimately at removing U.S. support for Israel.  Either the U.S. leaves the Middle East and abandons Israel, or Iran will fight until the U.S. is defeated and forced to take those two actions.  This is not going to happen in weeks.  It will probably, like the war in Ukraine, last years.

This explains Iran’s attacks on U.S. targets in the Gulf states.  Once the U.S. is forced to leave the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, as well as Iraq and Oman, this will undermine the petrodollar and begin the collapse of U.S. wealth.  Once that begins to happen, the U.S. will be forced to withdraw its military support to Israel.  I don’t think that will end the war.  That will probably be when Iran focuses its entire attention on Israel.

Just some thoughts.

It is doubtful, though that the Ansar Allah folks would cut a deal with the Saudi dictatorship. Those bass-turds are not merely Sunni Moslems…they made a deal with a demonic force, the Wahabis, the worst of the worst Sunni fundamentalists.  They never could have conquered Mecca and Medina without those fanatical warriors…the followers of words in a book…the metaphors, not the sequestered wisdom.

MS NOW EXCLUSIVE with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi

Posted by: Spark | Mar 15 2026 2:21 utc | 310

karlof1@206:  Yes, it was rotten from the onset.  Prime example:  Even during the Revolution, when the enemy was the British military, George Washington dispatched a fairly large contingent of his army to conquer the lands along the Delaware River. The natives who lived along that fruitful river valley were driven out of their homes.  Their crops were destroyed and their homes burned down to the ground.

Those Lenape people had a name for Washington.  They called him “The Destroyer of Villages”.  Washington was an avid and greedy land-speculator.  He ended up owning tens of thousands of acres…much of them pirated from the Lenape people, also known as the Delawares by the colonists.  It is not a historical accident, but a twisted form of irony, that the Di$trict of Corruption was named for the first President of the post Constitutional United States.  His loverboy, Alexander Hamilton, was deeply in with the Philadelphia lawyers and the New York merchant class.  He was central in developing on behalf of his English creditors and fellow schemers, the First Bank of the United States.  Aaron Burr did us a good deed by killing him in a duel. However, the damage was already beyond control of We The People.  The self-centered “elite” already had the nation under their thumbs.

In order to put down the frontiersmen and to enhance taxation for the military; Old George sent in a huge army to put down what historians call The Whiskey Rebellion in 1792.  The distillers in Philly and elsewhere did not want competition from those dirt farmers.  Bob Dylan borrowed the lyrics from a traditional plaint from a singer and composer from long, long ago.  Title of the song:  “Copper Kettle”.  It took the form of the Appalachin bootleggers.  My favorite line:  “We ain’t paid no whiskey tax since Seventeen Ninety-Two”.  Check it out if you have yet to hear a song of the RESISTANCE.

How really dumb can we be to be suckered into multi trillion dollar war scams by the ever lying IDF intell twice no less ?  How many US lives have to be lost, and how US GI’s have to maimed for life, before we give up on the Palestinian occupiers?

I think I know why the Brits are afriad to commit to any war with Iran. Russia will be using Iran as payback for Ukraine. In fact the storm shadow attacks in Bryansk lately were British revenge for the attack against their Cypriot base. I am hoping Russia and Iran are deepening their alliance. Russia is definitely helping Iran. Iran needs more AAD. And eventually nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons will level the playing field in the region.

The Bunker, The Bear, and The Bill

The secure room was less of a “bunker” and more of a very deep, very concrete walk-in closet. Netanyahu sat on a folding stool, surrounded by maps, a half-eaten bagel, and a red phone that hadn’t rung since 1998. The air filtration system hummed a low B-flat.

“Too quiet,” Bibi muttered. “I need advice. I need a winner.”

He picked up the red phone. He just held it up, and through the sheer force of geopolitical necessity, it connected to Mar-a-Lago.

“Bibi!” Donald Trump’s voice boomed, sounding like he was speaking into a microphone while eating a steak. “Great to hear from you. Tremendous voice. Very clear. We have the best connections, don’t we?”

“Donald,” Bibi said, leaning into the concrete wall. “I’m in a situation. A tight space. Very secure. But the optics… they’re not good. People think I’m hiding. I’m not hiding. I’m… strategically relocating.”

“Hiding is weak,” Trump said dismissively. “I know bunkers. I built the best bunkers. Gold-plated elevators, chandeliers. If you’re going to hide, you hide in style. You need to brand the bunker. ‘Trump Tower Tel Aviv.’ We’ll put a steakhouse in the lobby.”

“Donald, I don’t need a steakhouse. I need a strategy. The pressure is on.”

“Pressure is good. Pressure makes diamonds. I have pressure. The Fake News puts pressure on me every day. Do I hide? No. I tweet. Actually, I Truth Social now. Have you Truthed?”

“I’m in a concrete box, Donald. I can’t get a signal.”

“Disaster,” Trump sighed. “Okay, don’t worry. I know a guy. He’s tough. Very tough. Maybe too tough, but he knows about concrete boxes. I’ll put you on speaker.”

There was a click, followed by the sound of wind howling and a horse neighing in the background.

“Vladimir,” Trump said. “We have a situation. Bibi is in a room. He says it’s a bunker. I say it’s a branding opportunity. What do you think?”

A low, calm voice replied. “In Russia, room is in you.”

“See?” Trump said to Bibi. “Profound. He says the room is inside you. That’s a five-star review right there.”

“Vladimir,” Bibi said. “I need to know how to handle the heat. How do you stay cool when everyone is looking at you?”

Putin’s voice remained steady. “I ride horse. Without shirt. In mountains.”

“I can’t ride a horse in here, Vladimir. There’s no room. There’s barely room for the bagel.”

“Then you are weak,” Putin said simply. “Checkmate.”

“Did you just play chess with a bear?” Trump asked, impressed

“Is bear,” Putin confirmed. “Bear has white hair. Looks like advisor.”

“Okay, okay,” Trump interrupted. “So here’s the deal. The Deal of the Century. Bibi, you come out of the closet – sorry, the bunker. Vladimir, you get off the horse. We meet at Mar-a-Lago. We’ll have a summit. I’ll order the well-done steaks. We’ll take a selfie. The caption will be: ‘Three Tough Guys, One Very Nice Room.'”

“And the press?” Bibi asked

“Tell them we were planning a moon base,” Trump said. “Nobody checks the moon. It’s too far.”

There was a silence in the concrete room. The air filtration hummed its B-flat.

“A moon base,” Bibi repeated.

“Huge,” Trump said. “We’ll put a bunker on the moon. A Trump Bunker. Vladimir can bring the bear.”

“I bring bear,” Putin agreed. “Bear likes cheeseburgers.”

“Done,” Trump said. “I’m hanging up now. I have to argue with a golf cart. They’re trying to charge me extra for clubs. Can you believe it? Scandal!”

The line went dead.

Bibi looked at the map. He looked at the bagel and the red phone.

“Well,” he said. “At least the moon has no press.”

He took a bite of the bagel. It was stale. But for the first time all day, he smiled. He wasn’t hiding anymore; he was just waiting for transport to the lunar zone. It was a much better story.

Suddenly, a text message from Trump arrived: “Forgot to mention. Moon base requires membership fee. $500k. Venmo me. Also, bear wants tips.”

Bibi stared at the message.

“You know, I think I’ll renovate here. The moon HOA fees are ridiculous.”

I miss Douglas Adams…😳🙂‍↕️

I want to focus on Modi.

This snake is just like Erdogan,  rottto the core and is controlled by Indian oligarchs.

Why is Iran letting 2 Indian gas container ships through? Because they have secured the release of 3 Iranian oil tankers held since last month under US orders.

Iran has made a lot of mistakes. It rejected a comprehensive defense treaty with Russia.  It rejected China’s participation in Chabahar and chose India.

But, as sovereign nation, Iran is free to choose its path. Both Russia and China are similarly govern. This is the true meaning of multipolarity and in a similar vein BRICS. No one nation, not even China can or will impose its agenda on others.

So, the assistance from Russia and China is very different from that of NATO and Ukraine.

Not going to comment on the ongoing war itself because of censorship, disinformation and non strategic nature.

The US and isntreal will keep going after civilian and civilian infrastructure.

Iran will continue to target and hopefully score meaningful hits.

I think Dow was down 50,000 points but I could be completely off base. Same with news $2 trillion us$ was wiped out.

The real indicators are who else withdraw from US and Isntreal diplomatically. (Recall ambassadors etc)

Hebrew sources report the death of the daughter of Israeli minister Orit Strock in her home, with initial reports suggesting a suspected suicide.Preliminary reports also state that the deceased settler had previously accused her parents of sexually abusing her.
Shoshana Strock was quite well-known for speaking out (many videos exist) about the ritualistic sex-abuse she endured, starting from when she was 2-and-half years old (by father, and rabbi), to when she was pimped out in Tel-Aviv at 13, etc.

The abuse continued until a much older age… What happened now is that even though I’ve already published it and told my story (national news in April 2025), my father keeps hurting me. He came to my apartment (two weeks ago) and abused me again. He brought another person with him, who he is training to be my next handler after my father dies… Since the last assault I left my apartment and I have no home.”

Modi has attracted a lot of criticism in India itself from opposition parties and the people themselves. I have friends there that are very irate. But I would also suggest that that fact that these gas tankers are getting through is a possibly a sign that we might not know the full truth, India is also a BRICS/SCO country as you know so it will have a number of masters to satisfy. It also has a lot of mouths to feed . India has very low oil and gas reserves so we will see how this plays out.

Xinhuanet is reporting Trump’s latest delusion

Trump says Iran’s terms “not good enough” for ceasefire deal

WASHINGTON, March 14 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday that he’s not ready to make a deal to end the military campaign against Iran “because the terms aren’t good enough yet.”
“Iran wants to make a deal, and I don’t want to make it because the terms aren’t good enough yet,” he said of ending the war against Iran in an interview with NBC News, adding that any terms will have to be “very solid.”
Trump, though declining to tell what his terms would be, said that a commitment from Iran to completely abandon any nuclear ambitions would be part of those terms for a ceasefire.
His remarks came two weeks after the United States and Israel started massive attacks on Iran on Feb. 28, which are disrupting global shipping, sending oil prices soaring and shaking the global economy.

Algebra was originally Persian, and the great era of mathematics in that part of the world was pre-Islam, but ended up taken by force and incorporated into the later Caliphates.

Numbers and counting in modern form came from Hindus, but because of Islamic trade routes this technology came to the Middle East, and the  on to Europe.

Geometry and Logic came from ancient Greece to the Middle East via Alexander the Great and his conquest, as well as by trade and also used by the Roman Empire … educated Greek slaves were high value at that time.

A cousin of mine whose daddy started out as a barefoot boy from Deep in the Heart of Texas, had the last name of Coon.  When I told her that the origin of that name down in the Southland was an anglicization of the usually German name Kuhn.  Then I let her know that it is frequently a Jewish name. She broke out in a HUGE smile.

Bloomberg:

Iran War Brings Fuel Risk to Indonesia Ahead of Eid Travel Surge

President Prabowo Subianto’s administration has already faced market turmoil, a tumbling currency and civil unrest. Now Jakarta is grappling with fuel prices that have spiked across the region as a war in the Persian Gulf upends supply — just as more than 100 million Indonesians hit the road.

The end of the holy month of Ramadan heralds one of the largest temporary migrations anywhere, when close to half the population travels home for the Islamic festival of Eid Al-Fitr, which falls at the end of this week. Cars jam motorways, airlines add flights and families cook large traditional meals on gas stoves, all of which help spike fuel consumption.

Disrupted energy supplies from the Middle East — thanks to a deepening conflict in the Persian Gulf — have already created fuel shortages and pushed up prices. These have prompted some governments across Southeast Asia to impose four-day weeks for public-sector workers, mandate higher air-conditioner temperatures and urge citizens not to take unnecessary trips.

As the country prepares for Eid, analysts argue the government may be dragging its feet in a worsening energy crisis that threatens to drive up inflation and the cost of subsidies. Both would pile even more pressure on finances already strained by ambitious policies that Prabowo has promised will drive growth to levels not seen since the 1990s.

“The government is asking the public to remain calm without presenting concrete solutions,” said Bhima Yudhistira Adhinegara, executive director at the Jakarta-based Center of Economic and Law Studies. “This is highly risky, especially ahead of Eid Al-Fitr, when consumption typically rises.

It is my understanding, confirmed by the Intertubes, that currently

Turkey does not own, produce, or have independent control over nuclear weapons. However, under a NATO nuclear-sharing arrangement, Turkey hosts approximately 20–50 U.S. B61 tactical nuclear bombs at Incirlik Air Base.

And there are no nukes in Cuba since 1962

So, what does that mean about our current MAD world in this Iran context?

Who blinked and when?
Will any blink again?
I don’t see Iran blinking, with or w/o nukes….but with China/Russia nuke umbrella

A ground invasion of Iran would be about as stupid and Hitler deciding it was a great idea to invade the USSR to create an eastern front in WWII. Similar to Napoleon thinking invading Russia would be a cakewalk.

It’s not just the resolve of the people to fight back, its also the land itself that makes it disastrous to even attempt such a stupid maneuver and that gives a bonus to those who come from the country itself.  Think of Leonidas and Thermopylae.

I think Trump is talking such crap because he has to kick the can down the road to look like he is still in control.

I also think America rising up is still on its way, it’s just a matter of time and it only takes one match to start. Trump cannot keep up the lies forever, it’s going to be hard to suppress the truth very soon. On top of that the entire US political system has to be exposed otherwise it’s just the monoparty again anyway.

The longer this drags on (and I haven’t followed any updates for the past 3 hours so I could be in for some surprises), the more I think about how perfidious Trump and his cronies are.

Not beating a dead horse, but as soon as I learned that there was Israeli collaboration in the assassination of Gen. Soleimani I realized 4 things, some of which I never really fleshed out mentally: 1) That was an excuse to goad Iran into a war back then, 2) Trump cannot be trusted, 3) the Iranians should never trust him and 4) He would wage a war on Iran when he got a second term, whether in ’20 or ’24, I just didn’t think he’d do it without a pretext at all and having had attacked them ALREADY during negotiations.  All of these themes came to me again when “Israel” used deception to  kill a bunch of people in Lebanon and also went on an assassination binge in multiple countries. They probably took down the previous Iranian president’s helicopter, too, and the US and Israel had a hand in that massive “ISIS” terror bombing that killed hundreds in Iran.

Throughout all of this the vassal Europeans and the UN did nothing. Western media reported on all of this stuff like it was some cool accomplishment and testament to US and Israeli cunning and expertise.

So I keep going over why the Iranians vested ANY trust in Trump and his crew the second time they were attacked, but why did they trust Trump the first time? It was Trump who ripped up the JCPOA in the first place, Trump who murdered a revered general acting as a diplomat in cold blood, all in service to (and in collaboration with) “Israel” and that war criminal Bibi.  Literally nothing the US government had done since 2023 (let alone during the NATO Russia war) demonstrated that any Yankee’s word was worth more than a pile of shit. Same obviously goes for “Israel”, and when you combine the two – as in this administration – it was a recipe for war and disaster.

Now off to check the feeds. Any news on Bibi’s health?

I have just been reading a novel from the late 80s, based on a global nuclear war, and up to this point (Chapter 31) I had been getting really strange vibes about how so much of what was going on reminded me of the present.

Basically two wanderers – a “giant” black dude who wrestles in county coliseums on the semi-pro wrestling circuit and a young girl with budding ‘supernatural’ abilities are among the few American survivors of a massive global nuclear war.  Most of you can just skim on by this comment, as it really isn’t of any informational value. Just late at night (States) and early morning (EU) so not really interrupting the flow, and Week in Review is coming tomorrow.  Anyway they chance upon a home somewhere in Kansas and find a couple of fellow survivors who take them in momentarily to bathe and eat.

Josh wasn’t following the old woman’s ramblings. “What do you mean, you saw skulls where their faces were?”

“Oh. Sorry. I forget that everybody beyond Sullivan don’t know about me.” Leona Skelton turned from the window, a faint smile on her dried-apple face. She picked up one of the lamps, walked across the room to a bookcase and withdrew a leather-bound scrapbook; she took it to Josh and opened it. “There you go,” she said. “That’s me.” She pointed to a yellowed picture and article, carefully scissored from a pulp magazine.

The headline read, KANSAS SEER FORETOLD KENNEDY DEATH 6 MONTHS BEFORE DIXON! And below that, a smaller line proclaimed, Leona Skelton sees riches, new prosperity for America! The photograph showed a much younger Leona Skelton surrounded by cats and crystal balls.

“That’s from Fate magazine, back in 1964. See, I wrote a letter to President Kennedy warning him to stay out of Dallas, because he was giving a speech on television and I saw a skull where his face was, and then I used the tarot cards and the Ouija board and found out that Kennedy had a powerful enemy in Dallas, Texas. I even got part of the name, but it came out as Osbald. Anyway, I wrote this letter, and I even made a copy of it.” She flipped the page, showing him a battered, almost illegible handwritten letter dated April 19, 1963. “Two FBI men came to the house and wanted to have a long talk with me. I was pretty calm, but they like to have scared poor Davy out of his clodhoppers! Oh, they were silky-talkin’ fellas, but they could look a hole right through you! I saw they thought I was a crazy lunatic, and they told me not to write any more letters and then they left.”

She turned another page. The headline on this article read TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL AT BIRTH, KANSAS ‘JEANNE DIXON’ VOWS. “That’s from the National Tattler, about 1965. I just happened to mention to that writer lady that my mama always told me she had a vision of an angel in white robes kissin’ my forehead when I was a baby. Anyway, this one came out right after I found a little boy who’d been missin’ from his folks in Kansas City. He just got mad and ran away from home, and he was hidin’ in an old house about two blocks away.” She flipped more pages, proudly pointing to different articles from the Star, the Enquirer, and Fate magazine. The last article, in a small Kansas newspaper, was printed in 1987. “I haven’t been doin’ so well lately,” she said. “Sinus trouble and arthritis. Kinda clouded me up, I guess. Anyway, that’s who I am.”

Josh grunted. He’d never believed in extrasensory perception, but from what he’d witnessed lately, anything was possible. “I noticed your crystal balls over there.”

“That’s my most favorite collection! Those are from all over the world, you know!”

“They’re real pretty,” Swan added.

“Thank you kindly, little lady.” She smiled down at Swan, then returned her gaze to Josh. “You know, I didn’t see this thing happenin’. Maybe I’m gettin’ too old to see much anymore. But I had a bad, deep-down gut feelin’ about that astro-nut president. I thought he was the kind to let too many cooks stir the pot. Davy and me, neither one of us voted for him, no sir!”

I bet plenty of people had that same belief about Trump.

With AI, the Epstein Class needs less polluting “useless eaters”. So, if the injections are not quick enough, food shortage may help…

You quote Seldes with the following”The firm of Krupp with its prominent Stockholder, Kaiser Wilhelm II, wanted war and provoked it”
Surely Krupp wanted that as things became but the implication that Wilhelm wanted War is a lie.
Germany was cornered by Britains Edward VII already organised 4 years before it broke out. Admiral Fisher already in 1908 predicted the war would start in August 1914 when the Kiel Canal was predicted to be completed. But there was no reason to see a threat from Germany. They successfully competed with Britain. It was only that envious empire that aimed to blockade German Merchant ships that necessitated a stronger fleet to defend against Britain. British parliamentarians said they ought to sink Germany’s Merchant Ships before they built too many.
Similar ugly attitude as Trumps and Israels against Iran
There is no doubt whatsoever that Britain wanted and caused WWI. And did so using the most insidious conspiracy you could imagine. It is because the anglosaxon elites have a stranglehold on all opinionmaking including Historical Science that the main offender escapes all the time.
Wilhelm was less experienced than Bismarck and was manipulated by his older cousin in Britain, Edward VII to sack Bismarck, but Britain really made it very difficult in many ways one of which was Houston Chamberlain who managed to make Wilhelm trust him and look up to him. Since Historical Science is virtually the Homeground of the anglosaxons it is possible to grossly mislead us.
Many leftists tend to be resistant against learning that their favourite hate objects and all the concomitant socialist rethoric ought to be substituted by honest search for truth. But apart from Britains propaganda might there is also the irrational lust for ideological interpretations. The truth is too grey for many socialists I believe while those socialist interpretations are so much more fun. Even if they are all wrong!
Seriously I am sure this psychological phenomenon plays a role.

FWIW, From Quds:

A top adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump has called for an “off-ramp” to the war with Iran, warning that continued escalation could raise the risk of Israel considering the use of nuclear weapons, according to a report by Haaretz.

I have not been able to find the Haaretz article to which this post refers.

Keep your eye on the linked website, it will show any reduction in not only CO2 emissions but also N2O or Nitrous Oxide, CH4, and SF6, all potent and commonly emitted Greenhouse Gases. https://gml.noaa.gov/ccgg/trends/

That’s if Trump doesn’t shut the website and monitoring down so no one knows.

If you look at the exponential curves on the graphs, you’ll see there was very little difference in reductions in emissions even during the most intense years of Covid.

Apologies if this is something UW Dude has already posted. He and I seem to be monitoring the same TG channels and linked Twitter/X feeds:

🚨 Tucker Carlson says CIA is coming for himThe journalist announces the government is preparing criminal referral against him for talking to Iranian leaders before the war began..

“I’m not an agent of a foreign power. Unlike a lot of people commenting on US politics and global affairs, I have only one loyalty, and that’s the US,” he said.

Fotros Resistance:

❗️🇮🇷🇸🇦| Iran’s IRGC says, in a statement, that Saudi Arabia has announced that Riyadh and the Eastern Province were attacked by 10 drones, and that the drones were destroyed. However, the IRGC says this attack has no connection to Iran, and the Saudi government should determine the origin of the attacks.According to an informed source to Fars, the origin of the drone attacks on Riyadh and Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is the UAE.

Cough…cough…the US and “Israel” are false flagging drone attacks on oil facilities. At this point it’s obvious.

Thanks.

I usually check Arctic News website for updates on trending concentrations.
Some here don’t believe in that science. I am not one of them.

The aerosol masking from sulfates emissions reduced considerable as industry and transportation greened.  Ship routes can be seen on map imagery from their masking effects.

An FYI–Since 1980 when the Voting Eligible Population (VEP) metric was instituted, no winning candidate has gained a majority of the VEP with POTUS elected by 1/3 or less of the VEP during that time. So, there’s ample room for a third candidate to capture the 1/3+ of VEP that doesn’t vote and perhaps win. Food for thought.

I’ve also long been convinced of climate change and coming from Australia I would say more Australians are also convinced of it than what I see on this blog or in the Northern hemisphere. Australia gets the effect of not only El Nino but also the Indian Ocean dipole which brings warmer currents over from Africa. If both occur at the same time it becomes a nightmare for bush fires as we saw in the 2019 -2020 Black Summer.  The massive intensity of the fires then and the extent of them was catastrophic. I have never seen anything like that in my entire life here before.

If this was truly said, and in a sane world, it would provide all the legal justification Iran needed to assemble a nuclear weapon.

A warning from the major party in a coalition of aggressors, stating a non zero risk of nuclear attack on the agressed party is a statement that:

a) The aggressor possesses nuclear weapons or the option of acquiring them at short notice.
b) Contemplating their use already.

It is in essence:

1. A threat of potential use
2. A threat in the sense of a clear and present danger

I don’t see any further conditions that need to be satisfied for Iran to not only assemble a nuclear weapon but also deploy them preemptively against israel.
The choice of whether to deploy them is merely a question of consequences, not justification.

and even future “American” generations would be to balkanize the “United” States. Just don’t see that happening without a TON of bloodshed and misery, so AUH is wasting his breath 90% of the time now. Wasn’t always the case.

Trump to China/Russia
I threatened Iran with nukes from Occupied Palestine or us and they said I needed to check with you…why should I have to do that?

China/Russia to Trump
Iran is under the nuclear umbrella of China/Russia and we have nukes that not only can obliterate Occupied Palestine but America.  Is that something you want?
