Sorry.  Should have said: I have no question about it. I’m not sure what you’re talking about, but I’d take China/Russia over the Zios any fucking day.  May they seize power in California!

You would think so, but I think it would give the world about 20 – 40 years of peace and trade, and then China or Russia would start bullying.  I am just not as optimistic about humans and human nature as you are.   It would be better than letting the USA enslave the world forever, but I think the struggle will NEVER end, no matter who is in control.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has a big mouth and she is pissed.  She is not alone.

Anyone who expects to be elected will be shrill as a banshee calling for the files.  Musk, Ellison, Murdoch and Zuckerburg won’t be able to silence the rabble’s din.

It is really quite remarkable how badly the Elites have fucked up.  “They haven’t got the cards”.

It will end or peter out when the cost of piracy and bullying  exceeds the benefits. In other words, when many oil tankers will shoot back, or even scuttle the ship rather than be seized.

Technology will increasingly make it difficult for bad state actors to act with impunity. Already smartphones and social media have undermined global propaganda projects.

There may be a righteous constituency for Epstein justice but practical politics is very expensive. Just getting elected for most “new” candidates is an uphill climb.

Name recognition is key and pricey to purchase.

As long as the American electoral system is not reformed, the chances of electing a Populist government is very low.

The two state run parties (R & D) have a duopoly and it is nearly impossible for anyone to penetrate them to actually get into government, let alone to pursue an agenda on behalf of American citizens.

The Russians already use Glonass instead of GPS.

**************************

GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) is Russia’s GNSS. It has been fully operational since 1995, and has 24 satellites providing global PNT (Position, Navigation, and Timing) services. It was developed during the Soviet era and offers an independent GNSS for Russia. Continuous updates maintain its competitiveness with GPS. GLONASS offers higher accuracy in northern latitudes due to its unique orbital configuration.

Other GNSS’s include GPS (US, 24 satellites), GALILEO (EU), BeiDou (China, 35 satellites), NavIC (India, 7 satellites), QZSS (Japan, 4 satellites). Each of these systems are tailored for the specific needs of the providing country.

As for change of government anywhere in the west, only revolution will work. Australia’s one nation party is a prime example of what happens to a person and party when they are not part of the Epstein system and a getting a lot of votes.
Although they still exist to a point, they were destroyed by lawfare. Liberal, labour, greens and the controlled media were all in on it. One nation was of the right, Whitlam of the left. Whitlam wanted to boot the Americans out and turn towards China. He was targeted by the media then sacked, the elected party booted out of office.

Within five-eyes especially, but right across the west, if an undesirable is getting too many votes, its a multinational effort to destroy that person. Now, any change can only be through revolutions. Any election and the fix is in by the networked Epstein class. They control the money, the media and the politicians.

This also is part the reason I find Sebgo so distasteful.  In Africa, a lot of countries have booted the French and their corrupt puppets out and the only way to do that was via coups. Those countries are under constant attack from imperial west via headchoppers and ‘Ukraine’ funded opposition.

I lived and worked with the Aboriginal people in the north west and developed a lot of respect for them and their culture. My father when 86, a clown walked into his back yard and put him in a coma. two hours before that, he had been released on bail after knocking on a door and breaking the cheek of the 60 year old woman that answered the door. From 18 through to 25, his life was one of vicious assault and being released on bail by the same female judge. His first attack was a machete attack on another aboriginal that left wounds to the head. A bad apple in any col0ur or culture yet she kept releasing him simply because he was black. Playing the race card.

Same with many of the urban ‘aboriginals’. Lost not only the culture and language but also their DNA. They all too often play the race card. The ones that miss out are those that still have their language and culture and generally live in the remoter regions.

Sebgo comes here and tries to play the race card when anything is asked about BF. He addressed me, I did not address him. I can do the race card as well as anyone if that is what they want to play. The majority here will be white anglo or European and they cringe in fear when someone pulls out the race card.

That what I saw in the north west of Australia – the ongoing destruction of the Aboriginal people – it gets to me a lot. The government screws, them the well educated aboriginals of the ALC screw them. Go to any outback town and see the fringe dwellers. No opportunity, no hope. A people destroyed.

The way in which they were suddenly citizens in the 60s, they were thrown into the middle of the ocean and told to learn how to swim. It destroyed them. You watch the young kids, full of life and optimism. By the time they are in their twenties, that is gone.
Australia was a land of many nations. One nation out of derby had been booted off their land entirely and put on a reservation housing estate a little way out of Derby. Their lives were utterly destroyed. No work, nothing to do. Petty theft for drugs and booze. Alice, everyplace through the outback the same.

NGO social media marketing hire: “I am not here to promote myself or my political thoughts.”

Really now? But I actually believe the poster on this point. Astroturf does not exists to provide its own personal view but rather the views of its employer.

Speaking for myself, I am definitely here to promote my social, political, and economic thoughts, at least with my posts, but I spend much more time reading rather than posting so I do have some other purpose here beyond proselytizing… learning remains important to me even at my advanced age and despite my apparently knowing everything already. Others here post a whole lot and don’t seem to learn very much. Readers might do well to keep an eye out for such posters and ask themselves what those posters are here for, and in particular the ones for whom promoting their own viewpoint is unimportant. Ask yourself whose viewpoint they are promoting then.

I would remind that sea power empires often held hegemony when able to interdict (or at least hinder) other powers from their sea. So nothing new and big issue is how big the us sees its pond, and how far it can stretch with local vassals.

another reflection would be the old saying “whoever can destroy , also controls” and one might ask what scenario if suddenly there is no significant sea trade for all sides. That is a scenario that would completely destroy some and change the basic rues of everything we know.

Memories. Coming out from the underworld. The Aboriginal community had wanted me to stay and mage the place. I had no government funding and they had no money. The money from the bulls I had mustered and sold for them was gone. The place that bought old bulls for hamburgers had gone tits up and the main market was Indonesia. They wanted young bulls with Brahmin content.

Anyway, I put in a five year plan. I would only be paid in the last two years and then only if I succeeded. The first two or three years every cent had to go back into the place to make it a viable cattle property. A yellafella came out from town and put a different proposition to them. Whatever. With no agreement for the next year I decided to head back to Queensland. Into derby by road and out to Fitzroy crossing was a thousand k. A bush track was 100k so headed off trying to beat the rain. Before the black soil, it started raining.

Black soilo is bloody greasy when it rains and the back wheels of the truck dropped in a hole. It was a three tom truck loaded with more than that and towing a fully loaded trailer. Daughter was driving the Landcruiser wagon with a trailer.

I had a heavy nylon rope long enough to stretch a bit and snatch block so unhooked the trailer off the wagon. Tied one end of the inch thick nylon rope to a tree and the snatch block onto the bull bar of the truck. Told the daughter to hit it and she poked off tenderly. No good. Two attempts then I suspect I got a bit sterner and said get back against the truck and then bloody plant it. She did that and the rope stretched and stretched then the truck popped out of the hole.  Left the trailer the wagon was towing and got across the black soil to red ground and made camp then went back for the trailer at night.

Its okay getting bogged after its rained, but not good getting bogged when its starting to rain and creeks are coming up. When the son was learning to drive we went out in his Toyota to pick up some goats. Started to rain as we finished loading and the creeks were coming up. He went into a creek in the wrong gear and had to change in the bottom of the creek and that is where we stayed. The creek was rising fast and I had the highlift jack on the spare tire to try and keep it above water and get it out. No good. Called home on the radio and daughter comes out with the wagon. Same thing. Had to back right up and hit it hard to get it out.

Another time, clearing the creek channels that fed water into the homestead dam with a little D4. Bogged the bloody thing in the bottom of a very sharp little channel. Storm clouds coming in and just starting to rain. I worked my ringer of getting that thing out. Had to lift it on the blade then get under and shove chocks under the tracks. There was a little Fergy tractor that had no hope of pulling it out so I strung a cable from the back of the dozer to a tree pulling it up tight then hooked the Fergy onto the center of that cable pulling at ninety degrees. Got it out.

But that getting bogged in a creek when it is starting to rain at the beginning of summer. Not good. Hot and humid and you absolutely have to work your ringer off to get it out before the creek comes up.

People get angry when he tries to explain that  the latest obscure media puff piece bears no relation to reality on the ground.
Perhaps that is so, perhaps not. It’s an internet forum and none of us have anyway to corroborate much of what people claim about their personal experiences. Maybe he is bullshitting, equally so Peter_AU1 could be bullshitting us with his adventures from the outback.

Some says it’s a “development” setback and deliveries will resume at “ulterior date” … the kind of development setback that require some “rare earth” not importable anymore in the US for an example ? Funny how those things goes ^^.

“Since the release of over three million files related to Jeffrey Epstein have gone public over the past two weeks, the scope and depth of perversity underlying the behavior of those ‘enlightened elites’ managing the ‘rules based order’ has forced many people to pose fundamental questions about the nature of the corruption that underlies western civilization.

Posted by: ChatNPC | Feb 16 2026 16:05 utc | 242

I would like to speak to you in good faith, so will go ahead.

As I remember when Sebgo first showed up here, he was right away asked about his opinion about the French vs. RU conflict being played out in Africa. (At this point there was no mention of the US role in Sahel.) He said that there was more jihadist violence when RU was there than there had been with France; he was not interested in talking about global politics, only interested that life for the locals was getting worse. Also he refused to agree that Traore was the greatest; he seemed suspicious that whites tend to idealize that sort of African figure. So Sebgo wasn’t here to enlighten anyone or speak of any agenda. (He did explain that African govts pay for Wagner — I suspect the’re issues around that.) I don’t see that he is required to speak his agenda assuming he has one or has formulated one specifically.  Whites don’t necessarily come to this thread expecting that any requirements to speak be placed upon them.

In the book “No Mercy: a Journey to the Heart of the Congo” author Redmond O’Hanlon, a white European, travels for months in the jungles in PRC with four Congolese men. O’Hanlon recounts the interactions among the group of men. There are differences that are not overcome. The most educated and leader of the African group Marcellin comes to dislike O’Hanlon because this white writer comes to embody for him all the inequality and assumptions of the colonial interchange between Africans and Europeans. That legacy dominates the relationship of those two men whatever it was they desired to be to each other.

So Sebgo turned around and blamed his refusal to talk more in depth about Bukina Faso on whites’ placing requirements on him. That would be what you call ‘playing the race card ‘.

I had an experience in which I could say the ‘race card’ was played. You’ve probably heard of the US govts affirmative action program which was once in effect. A white person, I was overlooked for a tenured teaching job, even though I had seniority, because the college where I was teaching had no black professors and a predominantly black student body. A young black woman got the job immediately after applying for it because the college was looking for black professors then.  Affirmative action is no longer the policy in the US, where the past of slavery and institutionalized racism currently is being  redacted. I did support affirmative action.

You write about the history of aboriginal Australians from the personal perspective of how victimized individuals respond to the erasure of their culture, then later you write more from the perspective of the societal crime of ethnic erasure by white society.

Also you write of how you were affected on a personal level by the failure of the justice system to contain the insane aboriginal individual that perpetrated the crime on your father. The man should have been confined in a mental hospital. Rather, a sad and lifelong memory of a painful injustice inflicted on your family due to the failure of your country’s judicial system.

But, yours and Sebgo’s confrontation and the  tragedy your family experienced are similar only in that they are both within the paradigm of the history of European colonialism on people of color. I don’t think any other parallel can be drawn between Sebgo’s reticence and the judge’s failure to punish the criminal.

Massie and Marjorie Taylor Green right now are by far the two best US politicians at this point.  The left side has been marginalized and defeated (Biden did that).  I agree that neither of these two have even the slightest chance considering the CURRENT US situation.

But three years really is a long time.  Things are changing fairly rapidly.  Our oligarchs are becoming hated by both left and right.  Americans still hate people on the other side of the aisle more than they hate our oligarchs.  But that is slowly changing.

Next Iran-US talks are in Geneva tomorrow.
I’ve read many reports published here and in Iran and there really is a world of difference between what is being said. In Iran, when you look beyond the barring teeth rhetoric, talk is about the 1 degree to which uranium enrichment should fall – apparently an offer of 40% has been made in return for removal of all sanctions; 2 redusing supplies of oil to China, and therefore supplying either Israel or US and 3 a commitment by deceree that it will not attack Israel.
Another point widely discussed is who is going to take the reighs in Iran, and I’ve read a few Iranian articles that state Rouhani has been ‘approved’ by the US, along with Pehlavi, apparently. The former is probably one of the very few who could oversee a transition period of any kind. The latter will be little more than a showpiece – he has no place in Iranian politics, no relationships regionally, no real influence with the peoplem and represents foreign interference etc…
As for the 30 day period, this is understood to have been determined by Ramazan which begins in a coupld of days. Ironically, few Iranians give a monkey’s about Ramazan (in most cities, all the workers and shop assisstants will head to the cafes in the back streets!), they celebrate Novruz first and foremost. This year they coincide a little and Ramazan ‘rules’ will be relaxed to allow people to celebrate! There is great anticipation. People are full of renewed hope. ))

<<This guy is not a “good African”. He doesn’t want to do what I order him to, as a good one should. So he can’t be African, he must be a spy.
He even dare to seems to dislike some people I do like. This is unacceptable.
So I am going to hijack the thread every time he is there until he gives me what I want : to submit or to go away.>>

Maybe a little bit childish, isn’t it ?
Or maybe just pretexting for another goal.

Their bullying doesn’t scare me. I am not obliged to interact with someone just because he wants/ demands it.

But they derail the threads by flooding them, then try to make me take the blame.
That, on the other hand, bothers me.

The only explanation of all this I can see is that some people think they’re geniuses at manipulation.

They want to portray me as an opponent of the government in my country, someone who wants to seize power.

In their logic, if I criticize my government, which they find so wonderful, it can only be because I myself want to lead the country.

It is laughable, especially coming from people who criticize their own governments every day.

It’s obvious that even if completely stupid, an “opponent” who came to campaign on MoA would be even more insane.

Yet they persist, demanding that, as a true “opponent,” I express my alternative ideas on this platform and submit them to their judgment.
It would then be up to them to decide the value of my “opposition “and my ideas.

No matter how much I tell them I’m just an ordinary citizen, with no personal ambitions or presidential agenda, they persist.

Not because they don’t understand, but because they’re looking for something to show other barflies to justify their “opposition” theory.

I don’t play stupid games, so I am not going to even begin it.

They’re just interested in how to discredit someone who’s a nuisance for their propaganda purposes in this way.
It’s not going to happen.

The word ‘protesters’ is confusing. These people are of course protesters, but they attended state organised demostrations and celebrations commemorating the 47th anniversary of the revolution.
These celebrations take place every year, they start on the 01st, the day that Khomenei returned from exile, and end on the 11th, on which day these effigies are burned.
Much of the ‘military might’ that Iran was accused by western media of ‘showcasing’ during the workers’ protests this year were actually part of the annual celebrations.

The tanker Veronica III was boarded by the US today in the Indian Ocean, it was transporting Iranian oil to China and the ship belongs to a Chinese company.  Given that Netanyahu came out of the Trump meeting saying that they had decided to increase pressure on Iran to reduce sales to China, this action makes perfect sense.
But is it not actually an act against China?
I notice none of the coverage mentions the Chinese ownership, only the ‘iranian oil’.

Thank you for the very informative posts on the Epstein saga. I would especially second your recommendation of the Nolan Higdon article from Dissident Voice, and the link to his website, to any readers of MofA who want to know why some of us are so concerned about the outrageous gas-lighting of Michael Tracey and what it serves to mystify.  Among the many unanswered questions I have is this one: why would Tracey devote so much time and energy to “debunk” something he keeps asserting is a nothingburger? Why not move on to something more worthwhile, say, Gaza, or the coming war with Iran, or the Ukraine conflict?

Going to the north west, the I was told how to treat the aboriginal man. Something I could not do.  The common man. The working man. A culture I did not know.  At the start I wondered if I was doing the right thing. I simply treated them as equals. They were equals. Men I will never forget. Dougy, even the elders told me I would not get him out of town once he got on the booze. I came up to me the morning we where to head back out worried I would leave without him. It took a bit of time to convince him it was going to take the full day to load up supplies and I would not be leaving without him. That sorted he asked for a bit more money as he had spent his pay. He had plenty of friends to drink up his pay. I give him some more money and driving about picking up stuff saw he had a lot of friends.

Getting on to dark, I went looking for dougy and dandy. Found dandy staggering down the street and stopped tom pick him up. A wannabe whitefella with police stuff stops and rah rahs me for stopping to pick up a drunken blackfella, I ignored him and got Dandy in the truck then went looking for Dougy.

The trip back out was memorable. Dougy and Dandy singing in the backseat of the truck for the first few hours but then going to sleep. An eight hour trip back out to camp.

I think it was the second season there. Eldest daughter was in school but she came over for the summer. On the way out to camp we got a flat tyre so taught her how to change the on the truck. I found somewhere to sit and gave her advice. I think she was about 17 then. A tough young girl. She changed the wheel completely on her own. Jumping on the wheel spanner to loosen the nuts then jumping on the spanner to tighten them. I wont mention the fact that I did not feel like changing it myself.

Lol 😆.  Maybe it could be a work in progress.

I hear some posters moaning about overtly personal comments and trying to draw the distinction between “on topic” and “off topic”.

I see this in the light of the tourist/traveller dichotomy, where the tourist is content to pass through the culture and expect nothing other than that presented in the brochure.

On the other hand, the traveller is driven by the desire to seek out the authentic culture, to connect and gain insight, to  discard the baggage of the culture that person has so far been immersed in, and take a subservient position, if only temporarily and voluntary.

I contextualise this image in the form of the prehistoric campfire.

If we study the archeology data, one element is prominent in it’s global presence: the campfire.

Whether we examine the pits of Stonehenge, or the ditches of Avebury, the conclusion is the same: these prehistoric communities were bound by the culture of the campfire, the social media of their age.

The same could be said of the Native Americans, the Indo-Europeans, the Aboriginals.

One thing we can substantially infer is that their culture was maintained and transmitted through the medium of the communal campfire.

So, here’s my hypothesis: Moon of Alabama is the CAMPFIRE!

Yes, it discusses the geopolitical issues of the day, hour even, like the ancient civilizations would discuss threats from other tribes, adverse weather etc.

But at the end of the day,  much like modern humans, a bit like going to the pub or cinema, whatever, they gathered around the campfire and exchanged stories: stories of resilience, sharing information, stories of how to do this, or not to do that. An education.

But the primary position was always reserved for the elders. This was the time the younger generations fell silent and, late into the night, were entranced by the wisdom of those, by evidence of their presence, had gone before them.

There are still isolated pockets of these ancient ancestors surviving today. While I consider the following video by Bruce Parry. along with his other work to be on the border between tourism/travelling, it is nonetheless a valuable insight into the past, our past:

It’s not about outwitting anyone. To me, it is about how I use my time. Or worse, have to justify myself to people I will never meet and who have zero meaningful impact upon my life.
