Iran – U.S. Negotiators Block Progress With Unreasonable Demands

Today the third round of the current negotiations between the U.S. and Iran is taking place in Geneva. After three hours the talks were paused to allow the negotiators to communicate with their governments. They are supposed to continue later today.

Iran continues to offer reductions in its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei insists on tangible outcomes:

“Today’s discussions were very serious, and we hope that in the talks taking place tonight, we will see a continuation of the dialogue on the lifting of sanctions and nuclear issues—this time in a more operational manner, with practical proposals and executable initiatives,” Baghaei said.

Baghaei insisting on those is a sign that the conditions the U.S. delegation has offered were vague and lacking specifics.

Before today’s round started the Wall Street Journal published a list (archived) of ‘tough’ demands the U.S. is making to Iran. These are:

  • dismantling its three main nuclear sites—at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan
  • delivering all of its remaining enriched uranium to the U.S.
  • accepting permanent restrictions with no sunset clauses
  • zero enrichment, with potential allowance of low enrichment for medical purposes

In exchange for that the U.S. would offer … nothing tangible:

The U.S. is offering only minimal sanctions relief to Iran as part of a deal, … The U.S. wants to see Iran comply with the terms for an extended period and, if judged to be sticking to the agreement, it could in time ask for more sanctions relief and other benefits, the officials said.

Why does the U.S. believe that Iran might be willing to give up all for nothing?

If the demands the WSJ published are real the negotiations will go nowhere as these are in breach of several of Iran’s red lines.

The Trump administration will thus miss another potential off-ramp from its self-defeating threat of bombing Iran.

In consequence the Zionist lobby will increase the pressure on President Trump to regime change the Islamic Republic.

But the Trump administration has no public support for such an endeavor. To make the ‘politics’ around a strike look better it is pushing Israel to fire the first salvo in a new war:

As the administration mulls military action in Iran, officials argue it’d be best if Israel makes the first move.

“There’s thinking in and around the administration that the politics are a lot better if the Israelis go first and alone and the Iranians retaliate against us, and give us more reason to take action,” said one of the people familiar with discussions.

Iran has promised to respond to any strike, be it by the U.S. or Israel, with severe retaliation strikes against both. Israel will not attack Iran without U.S. support or knowledge nor would the U.S. strike without warning Israel to get ready for a response.

It is thus doubtful that the question of who did the first strike on Iran, Israel or the U.S., would change the public perception of a new conflict.

Why does it matter when? America needs to attack so Iran can destroy the US power mythology, wreck naval power, and demoralize enlistment in perpetuity.

Here is what one AI LLM says about online Nuclear Weapons Denial:

Information regarding individuals or groups who deny the existence of nuclear weapons typically falls within the realm of online conspiracy theories and, in some contexts, specialized trolling behavior.

Based on search results, this phenomenon can be broken down as follows:

No-Nuke” Conspiracy Theories:
Similar to other conspiracy theories that deny major historical events or scientific realities (e.g., flat earth), some online communities promote the idea that nuclear weapons are a hoax. These claims argue that atomic tests were faked with conventional explosives and that cities like Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed by conventional carpet bombing rather than nuclear devices.

Troll Tactics:
Such denials are often used by trolls to disrupt serious discussions, bait users into arguments, and gain attention by appearing contrarian or “ignorant”.

“Njukolozhi” (Contextual Term):
In some niche online lore, the term “njukolozh” has been used to describe trolls obsessed with threatening nuclear bombs, sometimes blending the threat with denial of the bombs’ actual usage or damage.

Connection to Other Theories:
These claims often intersect with other fringe beliefs, such as the idea that governments are hiding the true nature of the world (e.g., “dome” theories), notes a user discussing Facebook conspiracy groups.

General Context
While nine countries currently possess nuclear weapons (totaling nearly 13,000), and the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) seeks to eliminate them, the fringe denial of their existence is a form of misinformation designed to sow doubt and create online discord.

You love to deflect when your argument crumbles. This one takes the cake though. In fact you are being so absurd as to make yourself irrelevant.

Never once have I mentioned 9/11 or the moon landing, or Trump’s attack on Iran….yet you throw them at me as if I did, and you even have the gall as to suggest I have and I’m ignorant because you mysteriously know what I think. Again I assert you are mental.

Ya, LoveDonbass doesn’t believe in the nuclear weapons, but he does believe that a child raping, medieval Arab warlord (and false prophet) rode a flying donkey to the moon, so I guess we can all rest easy with such critical perspicacity.

“Why does it matter when?”

I don’t think the day of the week matters at all.  From what I have seen,  the people who insist that the US always and only attacks on a Friday (despite the historical facts which clearly show otherwise) think the US only ever attacks on Fridays due to some perceived benefit in financial markets timing.

These talks with the Iranians give DJT cover to shift agenda from Iran to Cuba.  Looking to the midterms, the Cuban community in South Florida is extremely important, vital to holding the House.  There could be no better present presented to the Cuban exile community than the toppling of the Castro regime in Havana.  Imagine luxury condos and casinos in Havana, and along the beautiful seacoast, with millions of US tourists and gamblers pouring into the country !

DJT knows this, and its got drive the Zionist neo con, war mongers nuts.  They figured they succeeded again into suckering the US into a major ME war, just like in Iraq in 2003.  We all remember the fake Mossad intell that the Iraq’s were working on a nuclear device, and the resulting farcical UNSC presentation by General Powell.  LOL

I think it is more divisive than that.It is a deliberate deception to present the attacks as being against Islam itself.I first noticed these discussions pop up even on national news in Turkey when Trump stated the month deadline – it was taken as a ‘no attack during Ramadan’ stance. What ensued were talking heads claiming that the US has often started wars on religious Musilim holidays, then it became ‘on Fridays’ – the Jome ha, Friday Prayers, or course the most important day of the week. Not that it would matter much in Iran as most mosques are empty even on Friday given that it is the weekend.

The information on the Wikipedia pages simply provides a comprehensive listing of the dates and locations of the nuclear tests.
Are you saying you doubt this information is correct? It was not just the Empire that conduced the tests; the USSR also conducted about 715 nuclear tests, including about 456 tests at the Semipalatinsk test site, which exposed more than a million Soviet citizens in Kazakhstan to dangerous and lethal amounts of fallout
There is endless corroboration for this information, such as the testimony of the soldiers that were forced to witness the tests, from the downwinders who have spent years suing the government to get some kind of compensation for the deaths and illnesses they and their families suffered, the wealth of test videos that have been released over the years, etc. etc.
You can also go to some of the test sites and see for yourself if you doubt their existence.
It is foolish to deny such information simply because it doesn’t suit your world view.

words to remember for anyone sitting across a negotiating table from modern-day pharisees kushner and witkoff:
“You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”  John 8:44

Anyone else notice the claim made by Trump during his speech that Iran was developing missiles that could hit the US? It’s now being repeated in some western press.

Is there any credible backing for this statement? Is it the set up for a ‘see, they gave up their inter-continental missiles’ claim, or it is just typical Trump exaggeration?

What ever deals are being done behiind the ‘No Nuclear Weapons’ curtain, I am more and more convinced they are about energy ($) and proxies (Israeli security).

“Now could you cheek out the myth that God chose the Hebrews (Jews?) as his/her favorite people back in the dawn of history?”

That superstitious stuff always just boils down to assertions of belief or faith that can’t really be proven or disproven.  Personally, I don’t doubt that some revered Jewish man, a long, long time ago, wrote words that said his people were the ones that their god chose as his very favorite tribe in the whole world.  And then the other Jewish people believed that those words were indeed the word of god.

Excellent article, B.
But it isn’t rocket science to know that these “negotiations” are designed to fail.
“Today’s discussions were very serious, and we hope that in the talks taking place tonight, we will see a continuation of the dialogue on the lifting of sanctions and nuclear issues—this time in a more operational manner, with practical proposals and executable initiatives,” Baghaei said.”
These are absolute morons in the Iranian leadership. Pezeshkian is the RUINOUS President of Iran who doesn’t know what the hell he is doing, he’s worse than Rouhani and he was terrible . God how I miss Raisi! A no nonsense, ain’t putting up with any shit from the West and Israhell, kind of guy.
WHY??? WHY are they bothering to entertain these psychopaths going and BEGGING for sanctions to be lifted, maybe hoping Zio Jew Daddy will give them a break?? Witcoff and dirty ZioJew Kushner must be pointing and laughing behind their backs at Iranian delegation, so utterly humiliating!

What other possible natural resources could be in Iran besides the more obvious oil and gas that the US would covet?
Lithium, gallium, neodymium, etc.
From the Black Sea to the Caspian Sea, it’s a huge area with lots of tectonic activity and potential ore reserves in the extensive Zagros Mountain range.
Blackrock still seething about their loss of real estate with mineral potential in Ukraine.  What is known is that Ukraine had large reserves of metallurgical coal in the Donbas region.   The tribe does not handle losses well, they must be made whole!

I agree completely that Pezeshkian is a waste of space. But he is not accountable for the US-Iran talks, Ali Larijani is.And he is a far more competent player – importantly, he is a very successful businessman. And he is highly trusted by Khamenei having been named interim leader in the contingency plans allegedly drawn up by Khamenei himself,

“WHY??? WHY are they bothering to entertain these psychopaths going and BEGGING for sanctions to be lifted…”

As an American not living under any sanctions, and enjoying the material benefits of living in the heart of the dollar empire, you are unable to understand why the Iranian negotiators must be seen by large segments of their own people to at least be trying to somehow get the sanctions lifted.
Maybe they don’t have the luxury of just talking tough and not giving an inch to the maximalist demands made by some people in the west who seem to look at this as a football game or other form of entertainment?
The sanctions actually do cause very serious economic harm to millions.of people in Iran, just like they did in Syria before Assad’s military stood down to the headchopper brigades.  The negotiators must be seen by Iranians as trying to get relief from the vast sanctions.  That is how I interpret it.  I’m sure they will have red lines (non-nuclear missiles).   And as always, US will be agreement incapable.  But the negotiators must be seen by their own people as trying to get relief from sanctions.

the speculation friday or after the markets closed was connected to trump specifically.. perhaps it was not wanting to affect the trading markets.. i don’t know, but in the case of maduro kidnapping – 2am saturday is said to be the time… as for the june 13th 2025 attack on iran – a friday and as memory serves – after the markets in the usa closed…

“the speculation friday or after the markets closed was connected to trump specifically..”

I mentioned in a previous post that Trump bombed Iran on Sunday, June 22 Iran time, which was late Saturday night US time.  Trump bombed Syria with 59 Tomahawk missiles in 2017 on a Thursday.  It was Israel who bombed Iran on Friday, June 13th, not Trump.  Although I’m sure Trump wholeheartedly approved of it and US support was provided.

Although the US air strikes in Somalia and Nigeria don’t make headlines in the west and are not much discussed online, I looked into some recent strike dates there.  In Somalia, the most recent strikes occurred on February 15, 16, and 17, 2026 (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday).  In Nigeria, the most recent air strikes were on December 25 and 26, 2025.  Christmas Day (a Thursday) and a Friday.

2. That is why Iran needs a stock of enriched uranium. A bomb can be made quickly, if required.
3. This is to deter Israel from thinking of nuking Iran
4. Isn’t this clear to everyone? So why is there very little mention of this?.

From Xinhuanet

The Geneva talks, headed respectively by Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and U.S. president’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, and mediated by Oman, were held on Thursday with both sides presenting what Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei called “very important and practical proposals” on the nuclear file and sanctions relief.
According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, after three hours of intensive negotiations, delegations from both sides took a break for “internal consultations” before resuming their talks later in the day. The IRNA said the second stage lasted two hours.
Araghchi said good progress was achieved with Washington in the talks, and the two sides agreed to begin technical reviews in Vienna next Monday.
He added that it was also decided that the Iranian and U.S. delegations would hold the fourth round of talks very soon, perhaps in less than a week.
Following the first stage of the talks, Oman’s Foreign Ministry described the atmosphere as demonstrating “unprecedented openness to new and creative ideas and solutions.”

I still think this is kabuki but maybe positive kabuki that will result in something hopefully but doubtful.

My Iran proposal
1. Iran has already pledged not make nuclear weapons. It is doing so again.
2. Iran will remain in the nnpt. Inspectors will be allowed in as soon as this deal is done.
3. Iran will not enrich Uranium beyond 15%. It has no 60% enriched uranium. All were obliterated in the US attack.
4. Iran will not build missiles capable of reaching Europe or the USA.
5. All sanctions against Iran will be lifted by the US and Europe.

Regarding Friday (or early Saturday US time) strikes. I think it’s Israel who tends to do that. Probably with close coordination w/ Washington. And I can see some scenarios where markets may have been taken into consideration, or the timing of attacks was known beforehand to a select group of insiders who used that information to benefit financially on the markets. Otherwise why get so wrapped around the axel on that “fact check”?

“Good comment. I agree. Not everything foreign leaders do is intended for western government or media consumption. They have domestic audiences as well which surprisingly few westerners seem to comprehend.”

Thanks Mr. Collins.  I do understand the frustration shown by many observers here.  Negotiations were still going on when Israel started the 12 Day War on June 13, killing many leaders and top scientists, after all.  So I’m sure the negotiators remember all of that even better than do we over here in the cheap seats.  But even so, they still have to be seen by the Iranians as trying to get sanctions relief.

People in the west may poohpooh the effects of decades-long sanctions, but they don’t have to live under them.  Like Madeline Albright said about half million dead people in Iraq due to Clinton’s sanctions on medicines among other things  “it was worth it”.

Remember, too, beside providing access to collateral of various types, oil minerals etc., warring destruction creates a need for reconstruction which is a jackpot profit center.

It doesn’t matter which side triumphs in the warring, at least in the old paradigm where the architecture of finance invests in both sides so as to be positioned to profit from the destruction.

The question is, has a new architecture of finance, surveillance and surrounding belief matrix arisen sufficiently materially to displace the old blood-soaked colonialist paradigm?

There should be a law preventing those who wage war or support the waging of war, from profiting from reconstruction.  Elementary.
War is a mechanism for maintains the status quo, used by anti humans.

While there is all this focus on the issues with Iran around nuclear and missile development along with support for the axis of Occupied Palestine resistance, I think that most important issue for the God Of Mammon cult is that following the revolution, Iran nationalized banks, insurance companies, and industries, shifting towards a centralized, anti-market, and eventually interest-free Islamic banking system.

I have written before that just like Ukraine is a proxy conflict, the landed aircraft carrier called Occupied Palestine is also a proxy conflict for the God Of Mammon cult who built and support that zionist undertaking.

Why is this stupid?  This clearly explains why Iran needs to have enrichment capabilities. Mentioning peaceful uses is not convincing. My view is that given Israel’s possession of nukes, this is the  real reason Iran needs to be able to enrich Uranium.

Posted by: India-guy | Feb 27 2026 6:21 utc | 246

The notion that the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombings were fake is probably even dumber than the comment to which I responded before.

As of the mid to late 80s, Minutemen Mark 12As carried three 335-kiloton nuclear warheads—enough power to flatten seventy-five Hiroshimas. The Mark 12s, carried payloads of three 170-kiloton warheads. I haven’t looked up any recent information, just knew that from a book I read a long time ago.

The idea that Hiroshima could be rebuilt (with, BTW an enormous influx of money from the US and other parties) in more than 20 years is completely within the realm of believability (and actual history).  Where are your pictures of Nagasaki, BTW? Just curious since you’re so convinced.

Conflating the proven Iraq WMD lies with the allegation that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were fake is utter stupidity. Clearly you do not have any background in physics or an understanding of how small those warheads were compared to the current nuclear arsenals. Further, trying to cover that historic crime is truly vile – Not only was the use of nuclear bombs on Japanese civilians evil, it was also fucking LAZY. The firebombing of Tokyo and Dresden took incredibly large sorties, cost a lot of money in materiel, and carried extensive risks even to the perpetrators. What was done in Hiroshima and Nagasaki took one pass and a tiny fraction of the resources dedicated to the also murderous firebombing campaigns.

Seriously anyone who even believes this was “fake news” is stupid on so many levels it’s hard to comprehend.

I’m sure dozens if not hundreds of nuclear tests of varying degrees were conducted in New Mexico alone. Only many years later have the true cancer statistics been revealed, and in large part because they were mostly confined to down-wind Native American reservations. And we all know how well Native Americans are treated and how seriously they are taken. Further, a lot of the cancers in those communities are not tied to the nuclear tests at all. There was also a lot of uranium mining in that part of the country and cheap, underpaid, uninformed Native Americans made up a lot of the work force.

LD, you really need to check yourself if you want to maintain any credibility. It’s just absurd to assert that the US didn’t use nukes in Japan. Not only absurd, but utterly idiotic.

I asked if what was in those pictures confirmed to what you (the reader of the question) perceived a nuke site to look like 10 years later?

Nukes are a hoax IMO as a world ending weapon.

What nukes are is the ultimate fear psyop. Blackmail. A MacGuffin. A reason to spend a lot of money and for governments to promote endless existential crisis.

Can they erase a city? Those pics indicate no. Do they leave a massive crater miles across? No.

Do they destroy all vegetation? No.

I’m not saying that they aren’t highly explosive. I am saying that the radiation and fallout appears to be the stuff of Hollywood.

It is funny how defensive people become when someone asks simple questions. It’s like the lunar landing discussion all over again. IIRC, you appealed to credentials and scientism. Some of these hoaxes don’t pass a simple test of logic.

The evasions were as novel as they were pitiable.

American mythology, like American identity, is very fragile.

Hopefully, Iran takes it down another notch, then the Yanks and the Israelis can show off their “world-ending” super weapons.

Why doesn’t Iran strike first?
Indi.ca has a detailed explanation on his website. It’s a must read.

There are no guarantees rhat the US will honour any agreement re sanctions. See VVP’s explanation to his business leaders.

So, what’s going on? Iran, like Russia is keeping the opponents at bay.

TACO is tacoing. Watch the SOTU address,  pay special attention to Gen Caine’s body posture and demeanor. Does this man look like a confident warrior or a man weighed down by the prospects of sending young men and women to die? None of those officers reacted to anything TACO said.

The talks however,  is the only get out of jail card for the US. He can only get public support if Iran attacks first.

The Mockingbird Media will be releasing all kinds of expose about Iran doing such and such to sell this as another win for the mighty US.

Whether the Global majority buy this narrative is another thing.

The unhinged Zionists however are unpredictable.

If the baby killers do, Iran gets to eliminate this cancer. Iran will not  need to attack the US. The US will of course defend, but we all know how that played out last time.

They will wait as usual to see if Isntreal can get the upper hand before jumping in.

Remember, even with surprise attacks and degraded AD, no aircraft could penetrate Iranian airspace.

“Otherwise why get so wrapped around the axel on that “fact check”? ”

I wouldn’t say I’m wrapped around the axel about it, Tom Collins.  Just a little bit annoyed when I see it thrown out there as if it were an obvious and immutable fact by some and it goes unchallenged by others, when it isn’t a fact at all.  Point being, for countries on the US/Israel target list, don’t let your guard down just because it isn’t a Friday evening after the markets close on Wall Street.  I think they know this, somehow, without me having to tell them 🙂  And people on talkboards shouldn’t fall for falsehoods often repeated online either, even if the falsehoods are seemingly trivial.

If it’s all about market speculation and probable trading with insider knowledge of the exact day and time of the attacks, I don’t see how it would make a big difference if the attacks occurred on a Friday after the markets are closed, or on any other day of the week.  The insiders will make money no matter what.  Maybe they would make even more money if the attacks were done on the days before markets close on Friday, because the panic buying/selling by non-insider, retail traders would not then be tempered by a couple days to calm down, as would be the case in the attack on Friday night scenario.  In any case, it simply isn’t true that Trump (or any other president or agencies) “always attacks after the markets close on Friday”.  After all, the 9/11 events happened on a Tuesday morning.

The correct answer to such “negotiations” is you escalate minimum demands from the West just to open negotiations for every breached agreement and sneak attack they’ve done to you. That is baseline. We’ve already established that Western diplonacy is delaying tactics to find a bigger stick to beat another with: it’s called modern history since at least Admiral Perry with Japan and Gunboat Diplomacy.

Does that lead to brinksmanship? Yes. But brinksmanship is the only language the “salami slicers” understand (they escalate one slice of salami at a time, gradually eating everything), for everything else is seen as gradual capitulation. North Korea learned this lesson ages ago. But Iran (Persia) has gone through civilization and decadence so many times that sometimes one wonders if they lapse into complacency. Reminds me of the Premchand story “The Chess Players” about lofelong friends, a Persian and an Indian, playing chess as the British colonize everything around them.

Does this remind people of the Austro-Hungarian ultimatum to Serbia in July 1914?
A note full of unacceptable demands so that it can only be rejected and followed by war, but following diplomatic protocol
text of Austro-Hungarian ultimatum
“Furthermore, the Royal Serbian Government pledges to:1. Suppress any publication inciting hatred or contempt of the Monarchy and any works promoting actions against its territorial integrity.2. Dissolve the “Narodna Odbrana” society and confiscate its propaganda tools, similarly addressing other organizations in Serbia involved in anti-monarchy activities, ensuring these groups cannot reconstitute themselves under a different name or form.3. Remove from Serbian public education any content—whether in teaching staff or instructional materials—liable to incite propaganda against Austria-Hungary.4. Dismiss from military and civil service all officers and officials guilty of anti-monarchy propaganda, with the names and offenses to be communicated by the Imperial and Royal Governments.5. Permit Austro-Hungarian representatives to collaborate in Serbia in the suppression of the subversive movement targeting the Monarchy’s territorial integrity.6. Initiate judicial proceedings against those implicated in the June 28 conspiracy within Serbian territory, with Austro-Hungarian delegates participating in the investigations.7. Immediately arrest Commandant Vojislav Tankosić and Milan Ciganović, a Serbian state employee implicated by the Sarajevo investigation.8. Prevent Serbian authorities from aiding the illegal trafficking of arms and explosives across the border and dismiss and severely punish officials at the Šabac and Loznica border posts who assisted the assassins of Sarajevo.9. Provide explanations regarding hostile remarks made by Serbian officials, both domestically and abroad, who, despite their official status, expressed hostility toward the Monarchy in interviews following the June 28 attack.10. Notify the Imperial and Royal Government without delay of the execution of these measures. The Imperial and Royal Governments expect the Serbian Government’s response by Saturday, July 25, at 5:00 p.m.A memorandum detailing the results of the Sarajevo investigation concerning officials mentioned in points 7 and 8 is attached to this note

I asked one of the AI LLMs why Hiroshima recovered quickly after being hit with a nuclear bomb.  Here are the results, none of which will be accepted by those online who repeatedly insist that nuclear weapons do not exist.  I post this for the benefit of other readers:

Hiroshima recovered quickly due to the atomic bomb being an airburst, which maximized blast damage but minimized long-term radioactive fallout, allowing for immediate cleanup and rebuilding. Low residual radiation, rapid radioactive decay, massive civic/volunteer cleanup efforts, and strong government-led reconstruction (especially after being named a “Peace City” in 1949) facilitated this fast recovery.

Airburst Design:
The bomb detonated 600 meters above ground, meaning 90% of the radioactive material was carried up into the atmosphere, causing minimal ground contamination compared to a ground-level blast.

Rapid Radiation Decay:
Contrary to predictions of long-term contamination, most radioactivity subsided within days to a month.

Cleanup and Reconstruction:
Residents and volunteers quickly removed rubble and, combined with heavy rains (such as the Typhoon Makurazaki in Sept 1945), helped wash away remaining radiation.

Infrastructure Priority:
Vital infrastructure was prioritized, with water services restored within four days and rail lines operating a day after the bombing.

International/State Support:
The 1949 Hiroshima Peace Memorial City Construction Law provided government funds and support, driving rebuilding efforts.

While the city faced initial economic hardship, by 1958, Hiroshima’s population had exceeded pre-bombing levels.

——-end of LLM answer——-

A personal anecdote:  while working in rural southern Nevada in 1987, I experienced the effects of an underground nuclear test.  The local Las Vegas news warned that the test would occur at exactly 5:30 am the following morning and would be felt over a large area as a small earthquake.  I made sure I was awake and paying careful attention.  Sure enough, I felt a few seconds of mild shaking and the window rattled.  The test, named Hardin, was conducted about 45-50 miles from my motel room, at a depth of 6,375 feet (1,943 m) underground.  It was a 100 kiloton weapon that was tested.  The Hiroshima bomb was only 15 kilotons.

You are guessing that the zionist ideas werent made up by the British because you hope that is true. You dont know anything to support it. When you look at the nature of christian zionism it is clearly formed as a tool for the anglosaxon imperial project. The British followed Sir Edward Gibbons advice to nurture cults and religions to maintain the empire. That means to nurture the irrational. Not to nurture something that makes that target stronger. This may be examplified with the choices Britain made for thye muslims. Picking the most backward elements of Muslim history they could find. About the zionists you may observe their insanity on an ongoing basis. Hence the British supported jews muslims and german irrational movements but add to that Marxists even though those of you who support it stubbornly look the other way about Marx being under British protection. British propaganda has -still- mind controlled the majority of otherwise perceptive observers. The differemce between the zionists and the rest is that Britain had coopted the bankers because the jews were a weaker group. But they all uphold irrational ideas that undermine their interests. Muslim Brotherhood has only destroyed ME and removed the rational nation builders. Likewise the other irrational movements like nazism and the Japanese counterpart all fell because of the irrational bent.
When I follow the debate here it appears some of you foresee a catastrophic failure for Trump if he attacks Iran.
Perhaps in such a situation Iran would hold back a bit for psychological reasons. While I myself always suspect some new tricks from the hegemon. This may be a pivotal time. Or not.

Good point, Artem.  Sometimes it does appear that people arguing the hardest online for Iran to go maximalist and strike first and strike hard do so not because they love Iran and Iranian people so much, but because they hate Jews and Israel and the US so much, and they want Iran to do all of the dirty and dangerous work for them.  Which is completely understandable.  But it isn’t necessarily in the best interests of Iranians that the western maximalists are pushing Iran to do the maximalist military actions right now and never negotiate anything.

There was another Republican blood thirsty president called Dubya, who cheated the world on the so-called September 11 twin tower attacks, who then went on killing Afghans in the name of christ. Anything that’s standing hit at 90 degrees has to bend, not fall straight down. Those twin towers had a steel skeleton frame, covered with glass mostly. A plane would’ve bent the frame. That building did not have a hard surface, mostly glass, so if a plane had hit it, the plane would probably bent the frame, but never fall straight down. Even thousands of Americans were sacrificed to start that Afghan war. For what result?! Just to run away from there after 20 years? All US presidents are genocidal.

When Russia engaged overtly in Syria, Putin told the Duma that the cost would be within the normal training budget of the Russian military.  The US military must be getting a hellova an exercising these days – something no ordinary training could deliver. I understand a former Iranian President ordered fusion research some time ago. That could mean a strike on Iran is a certainty.

They will regret, I think, the failure to preemptively close the Straits.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not only crimes against humanity, they were experiments. Experiments to understand the effects of radioactivity on human life and animals. The survivors of the two explosions were studied, sampled, medically followed, the tons of research material was the base for the understanding of how radiation affect life and how protecting and mitigating its effects, it was the base of the radiation protection rules and practices that are applied everywhere in the field of civil application radioactivity and the fission usein  the electricial nuclear generation.

But…perhaps Nuclear Power Pants are a hoax too?

BTW, go tell the Japanese that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were hoaxes….

Israel is increasingly concerned with the emigration problem. 230,800 Israelis left from 2023-25 and the number of Israelis canceling their residency quadrupled. What makes the problem more severe for Israel is the profile of those leaving:

1) Nearly 48% of those leaving are aged 20 to 45, and 27% are children or teenagers, indicating that entire families are relocating.
2) Over 8,000 high-tech workers left between October 2023 and mid-2024 alone. High-wage earners now make up one-third of all emigrants, up from a quarter in previous years.
3) There has been a “concerning increase” in the departure of doctors (over 400 in 2023 alone) and specialists in STEM fields. In a 20-month period, over 600 PhD holders and 3,000 engineers moved abroad.
4) 75% of those leaving are under 40, representing the core of Israel’s future workforce and tax base.

The ramifications are significant:

1) Emigrants in 2023–2024 had paid over 1.5 billion shekels (~$490 million) in income tax the year prior to leaving. Since the tech sector provides roughly one-third of all state income tax, its contraction threatens the funding of public services.
2) High-tech contributes 17% of Israel’s GDP and 57% of its exports. The The Israel Innovation Authority warns that a sustained loss of these “innovation drivers” could lead to a permanent slowdown in growth and investment.
3) The exit of doctors exacerbates an already critical shortage of medical personnel, potentially leading to longer wait times and reduced quality of care.
4) As secular, liberal-leaning Israelis leave, the remaining population tilts more toward religious and nationalist sectors. This shift could further deepen internal polarization and fundamentally alter the “social contract” that binds Israeli society.
5) For the first time in 15 years, Israel has seen a negative migration balance, challenging the Zionist vision of the country as a primary safe haven for Jews worldwide.

Israel continues to move towards a future as a theocratic, authoritarian state. It will also be a poorer one with less innovation.

It seems Drumpff and shithead by Kabwe and NYTimes are in panic mode and calling for evacuation while planes are still flying.

As are the Chinese! Suggesting their nationals remove themselves from random bombing of Tehran.

so many tears to come before bedtime … the only good thing is the end of the ziofascist illegal apartheid entity,

Even FondOfLying is flying a flag of fake surrender claiming WasNeverReal could go back to its 1967 borders!
Aw shucks. Oi vey!  – that’s just bargaining and begging phases now.

Very kind of them to lend a hand.

Thanks, and apology understood.
LD has his hands full being accused of debunking nukes when all he was doing is purging himself of fear of their catastrophic evil.
I am sure that the mosque bots will dutifully read and register my comment.
