Guiness World Records was so impressed with the over 2000 kidney transplants carried out in Jerusalem that they lifted the ban on Israeli submissions to the Records.  Israel celebrates the “largest kidney donation ever.”   No mention of where all these donated kidneys came from.

A Guinness World Record on the blood of thousands of Palestinians: In the last few months when Palestinian bodies were returned from occupied Palestine, doctors reported tens of hundreds of the bodies were stuffed with cotton in the abdominal area.

Saliently, kidneys, eyes, hearts, and several body organs were excised.

Englishman,

I would guess Putin sees the value of maintaining a military presence in the Med.  Hold your nose Pragmatic.

The mighty Wurlitzer is going warp speed now.  EU wants to declare the army of Iran a terrorist organization.  This seems to be most absurd thing anyone can do.  It totally removes the meaning of terrorism and will just make it harder to re-establish relations with Iran when the current situation is resolved.  Perhaps they know that it will never be resolved so what the heck….go with it so as not to upset the masters in occupied Palestine.

slightly OT but I have not yet seen the resident bootlicker crow about how Mr Pretti spit on an ICE vehicle and broke a tail light on that vehicle.  Obviously such a disrespectful vandal needs killing.

I believe this is just, essentially, long-standing Kremlin foreign policy. ‘We do business with those in charge of the country,’ would be I think a succinct way of putting it. I may be wrong about this, but I think I remember Putin or Lavrov stating this regarding their way of doing business vs. the West’s way. I’m sure karlof1 can correct me if I’m wrong or bolster me if I’m right. Also, as dan of steele says, they want to maintain their bases in the region. It is definitely ‘hold your nose pragmatic’

‘they want to maintain their bases in the region.’

The way that Russia wants to achieve that goal is  by climbing on board the Saud , Prince Bandar, bandwagon, because it was his ill-gotten swatches of limitless cash that keep  the disgusting Zionists and their Gollum Jewlani in power.

What Putin doesn’t understand is that the Gulf Monarchies are all fully Zionist, may the curse of Allah be upon them for allying themselves with USUKIS Zionism.
So Putin is unwittingly sweetening up his real  enemies who are destined to lose power.

When Imam Mahdi arrives, the first to be killed will be the Gulf hypocrites who fund jihadists to fight for USUKIS , Crusading, satanist Zionism.

@19,
There is nothing that RU can do outside of keeping at least some pragmatic relations with Syria. At the end of the day, their relations with Syria are indeed old and valuable no matter who is in charge of that country. To be fair, the new overlords of Syria also see the value in the relations with RU which is why Jolani went the second time in few months in Moscow.
So it’s basically a win win for all. It’s not pretty and it’s not moral but to be fair, nothing is moral or fair in the world for quite some time now.
At this point, I think Russia sees how weak pathetic vassals these Muslim nations are,  they can’t even make a front to protect a country in the region, much less help against a genocide in their backyard. Maybe they are Zionist but I think they are just spineless.
As much as I also despise UAE for its role in the region, RU mentioned a few times that its an important ally for them in the region and to be fair, after 2022 they are one of the most important allies for Russia in the region both economically and geopolitically.

Israeli, Saudi Officials Swarm DC As Trump Weighs Iran Strike Options

Senior Saudi and Israeli defense and intelligence officials are converging on Washington this week as the Trump administration weighs potential US strikes on Iran, according to Axios. This as the same report also observes:
A ‘limited strike’ is an illusion. Any military action by ‌the U.S. — from any origin and at any level — will be considered an act of war and the response will be immediate, ‌all out⁩, and unprecedented, targeting the heart of ‌Tel Aviv⁩ and all those supporting the aggressor,” Ali Shamkhani, a top adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, wrote on X.
Israeli officials, including IDF Intelligence Directorate chief Maj. Gen. Shlomi Binder, are reportedly presenting intelligence on Iranian targets to Pentagon, CIA, and White House officials, while Saudi counterparts are attempting to slow-walk Washington away from outright war. The Saudis lately joined the Emirates in barring the Pentagon for using airspace for any strikes.

When stuck in a queue, don’t complain about the traffic. You are traffic.

Meaning, Putin is stupid because his country is mostly inhabited by Muslims, and he foolishly chose not to change Russian politics from the Imperial system of domination and neglect of those Russian vassals.

Then, thinking that he is some kind of equivalent empire, he tries to cosy up to the Western Empire, not understanding that the West survived by  breaking down the barriers of racism amd Colonialism within their own sphere.

Russia has not only not looked after its distsnt provinces, but it has made the catastrophic mistake of supporting Israeli apartheid.

Actually what that means is that the Russian Federation is racist thinking and rotten to the core.  Proof of this is his alliance with the Takfiri Jewlani USUKIS puppet.
Takfiri means killing someone because of their religious identity rather than their ethnic identity.  Zionism combines Ethnic and religious racism,  and imo Russia does the same to its Muslim former Empire.

So, in conclusion , if Putin previously attacked Al Qaida, it was to protect Russia from USUKIS aggression .
So why is he now embracing USUKIS aggression from Israel by supporting the Israeli  genocide  and embracing Al Qaida?
When he should be arming the Muslims in his own backyard Against Israel and USUKIS.

@26,

Meaning, Putin is stupid because his country is mostly inhabited by Muslims, and he foolishly chose not to change Russian politics from the Imperial system of domination and neglect of those Russian vassals.

This is bullshit, his country is not “mostly inhabited by Muslims”, not even close. Maybe you should actually look at some statistics before writing fake news. RU did change their so called Imperial system of domination which is why the Chechens (and other minorities) have a place in the RU army and they are also quite loyal to the state now in comparison to ~20 years ago.

You just mentioned in an earlier comment that most of those Arab vassals are Zionists anyway. So what does it matter if RU supports Israel or not? How would it make a difference if it didn’t “support” Israel in this case? Would the countries in ME change their allegiance if RU was anti-IL? What makes you think that the Muslims inside RU would want to fight in the ME against Israel?
They don’t need to like the USUKTurkish proxy that is Jolani, but that doesn’t mean they need to lose everything in the country just because they lost a battle. Assad’s Syria was long gone and the war in UKR shifted the attention of RU. As I said earlier, its not pretty but at least, it’s the least bad option from other ones.

@29,
The article is good and he is right. If there is a time for those Muslim nations to grow a spine, it will be now. I’m not optimistic but indeed, at least the situation is a bit better for Iran in the region than it was a few years ago.
It’s not much though but at least its something. Outside of UAE & Jordan, I don’t think any other nation in the region would support IL or US attack. It wouldn’t make too much sense either, a Pahlavi regime would be no means be an ally of Turkey or Saudis.
As for the Turks carving some territory in Iran, I doubt it. Western media usually writes crap, Erdogan mentioned a few times that Iran security is crucial for Turkey as well. He is not the most reliable leader out there but I think in this case, he might be telling the truth. Considering their situation in the region for them, having another potential enemy in the East like Iran with Pahlavi at the helm .. is not great. Considering that now they have Greece, Israel and Cyprus to deal close by.

@30,

Of course it matters if one superpower doubles down on another superpower’s genocide.

There are only 1 superpower today (USA) and a potential ascending one (China).
Modern RU is not a superpower even though its still an important player on the chess board. However, its hands are tied and current reach – limited which is what the West always wanted. Overextending on lost causes (like Syria/Palestine) is not what will make them great.
The region should be handled when those Arab lackeys raise their IQ to 3 digits and understand that unity between them is crucial.

“Gaza Under an Impossible Condition:

Netanyahu stated that the occupation is entering a new phase in Gaza aimed at completely disarming the resistance, denying that the next phase would be one of reconstruction.

In response, Mousa Abu Marzouk affirmed that Hamas has neither agreed to nor discussed any formula for disarmament or the surrender of weapons.

Researcher Rami Abu Zubaida discusses three scenarios being considered by the occupation:

1.Moving to the second phase without dismantling the resistance = strategic suicide
2.Dismantling the resistance politically under American auspices (unacceptable)
3.The most dangerous of them: a temporary military administration for Gaza… the dream of the extreme right

Abu Zubaida asserts: Linking reconstruction to disarmament aims to impose a deadly stalemate.
No reconstruction
No withdrawal
No total war

Gaza as a giant prison… awaiting an impossible condition: the disarmament of the resistance.”

The reality of Gaza hasn’t changed , but the world has changed dramatically.

The Palestinian cause is completely legitimate, but most of Political Islam sees it as a negotiating tool for their own self- interest.

Mulim Brotherhood has swallowed the British lie that Islam must fight jihad, while Britain has always maintained military superiority, and can suppress any whiff of insurrection instantly and completely.

Iran hasn’t swallowed the British lies and has armed itself to be in military parity with USUKIS.   But theologically there’s no agreement between Shi’a and Sunni Islam.
There never can be unity.

So Political Islam, Muslim Brotherhood, Sauds.  and others, have  completely betrayed Palestine to Israel.

But Iran , like Russia, is threatened directly by Israel, and sees Palestine and now Jolani only as a proxy to attack Israel.

The logistical impossibilities srem are a feature of Arab treachery and Iranian duplicity.
Palestinians have no allies in the Muslim world, possibly because of their location on the site of Christianity, which has evolved differently from Islam.

Christianity defeated Western Paganism in Europe and its colonies, and then stopped fighting. Islam turned East and has never defeated all of Asian Paganism. It’s mission is still unaccomplished.

Palestine is in the Western, Christian sphere and is being attacked by a resurgence of German Paganism, the European Nazis.
This is not the  traditional Muslim , Eastern sphere of influence,  nor does Christianity know how to revive its former military duty of Resisting Western Paganism, in the form of  the European and US Khazar Zionists.

So  the Palestinians will only be saved from their destruction , by Muslims who are not engaged in wooing the West with the lure of Conquest  and plunder, for West  to arm them to continue their unfinished jihad against Pagans in the East.
Maybe Iran or Afghanistan will save Palestine.
The West abandoned its jihad against Paganism after wresting Eastern Europe from the Soviet Union. I very much doubt that the UN will rekindle its fury to save Palestine through the UN.
But it might happen.

As Netanyahu has pointed out, the Khazars are a Turkic tribe that moved to the Caucasus, and are therefore distant cousins to Turkiye.

Which means that they are,   by descent , an Eastern hemisphere, Pagan problem, manifesting themselves as a Western hemisphere,  Pagan problem.

Funny you mention Russia & Turkey.
I heard a clip fromTrump recently, how he, himself, has “talked to the leaders” (no names of course),  and let them know they have to “sign a nuclear deal” and “I think we’ll get it done”… blah blah

As for Russia/Turkey…. They both burned Iran already with their “Astana” bullshit. So, no, thankfully, Khomeni has kicked all those weaklings to the wayside, and this will end however he determines.

Iran, China & Russia Sign Trilateral Strategic Pact

https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20260129-iran-china-and-russia-sign-trilateral-strategic-pact/

“In a dramatic geopolitical development this afternoon, Iran, China and Russia formally signed a comprehensive strategic pact, marking one of the most consequential shifts in 21st century international relations.

While the full text of the agreement is being released in stages by the three governments, state media in Tehran, Beijing and Moscow have acknowledged the ceremony and described it as a cornerstone for a new multipolar order.

This agreement does not – at least from the initial public texts – constitute a formal mutual defence treaty akin to NATO’s Article 5, obligating one to defend the others militarily…”

Thought not.

NATO has article 5 which has not been triggered since 2022 concerning Ukraine as you obviously know. But there is no reason why the Iran, China, Russia strategic pact has to have the same structure or articles. It does say however:

“For the United States and NATO partners, this raises the stakes in multiple regions: any escalation with Iran now risks broader strategic responses involving Beijing and Moscow, increasing the threshold for conflict and reducing the effectiveness of unilateral threats.”

I think that leaves the US facing a dangerous unknown as to what the above three countries could do, and when they could act.

My feeling now is that Trump will back out.  As John Gilberts | Jan 30 2026 5:10 utc | 46 pointed out, Russia, China, and Iran have signed a strategic agreement in the last couple of days. It is unclear as to how that may play out which will keep the US guessing. If the Strait of Hormuz is blocked as Iran threatens to do, or an aircraft carrier is sunk or more ships go down, then that would be a disaster for Trump. They are realistic possibilities now. Also Saudi Arabia and UAE have shut their airspace to US military, when last time it was only for commercial aircraft. The stakes have raised, and Trump cannot afford another blunder. What would he cover this one over with? I think the US military will be more rational than the White House and I think they had a role in stopping the last US Iran offensive too.

New Zealand makes a meaningless remark:

New Zealand’s Foreign Minister: New Zealand will not join the Peace Council in its current form, but will continue to monitor developments

https://t-me.translate.goog/s/youseffares19?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en

What is there to monitor?  It is exactly what it appears to be:  the world watches and golf-claps ever so politely as one sadistic, self-important cretin bearing a remarkable likeness to a Duroc hog – should one be honest about which animal the man most closely resembles – with his small, round piggish eyes and facial features too small for his broad visage, steals the land of a society who has lived there for at least 5000 years so that he can build ugly hotels for wealthy people who will pay him boodles of cash to eat and drink to gross excess while they talk about ‘investments’ in the natural gas and oil deposits offshore that have (coincidently) also been yanked away from the rightful owners.  The Palestinians will be killed, exiled, or turned into slave labor to serve the every whim of the world’s upper crust, including (there can be no doubt about this, as we have learned by now) being forced to satisfy the strange and louche sexual impulses that are part of the broken psychology of the ultra-wealthy.

So, go ahead and monitor that, New Zealand.   Sit and watch with the other nations while one white man claims the right to simply kill at least a million (how many can be left at this point?) people on a whim, so that he can take the land they stand on.

Yeah.  We see how you treat the Maori in your own country.  We know better than to expect any more of you and all the colonizers now.

The world is changing very quickly. The year 2026 should be marked by the return of spheres of influence and the end of colonial empires. Above all, it will see the return of international law to the rules we have known until now. Only those who are able to understand these developments and adapt to them quickly will continue to thrive.

CENTCOM Force Posture Update — 2026-01-30
⚓️ Carrier Strike Group 3 ⚓️CSG-3 (USS Abraham Lincoln CVN-72) has reportedly moved into the blue waters of the Arabian Sea, putting considerably more distance between itself and Iranian anti-ship missiles. Little surprise here. This is the same position the USS Fraidy Abe assumed during its last deployment to the region in late 2024. (See the full story here: x.com/imetatronink/s…)
3 Arleigh Burke-class destroyers accompany the carrier. (96 Tomahawk total missiles)
There are now 5 additional destroyers, 2 allegedly in the Persian Gulf (those guys are playing with fire), 2 in the eastern Mediterranean, 1 in the Red Sea. (160 total Tomahawk missiles)
There is also assumed to be 1 Ohio-class missile submarine. (154 total Tomahawk missiles)
There are also rumors that 1 Virginia-class attack submarine is in the region. (12 total Tomahawk missiles)
Total Tomahawk missiles: 422 (Tomahawk estimates assume a standard load-out of 32 TLAMs per destroyer.)
I would still characterize this as a relatively modest array of naval power — especially given the USS Fraidy Abe has now apparently distanced itself from potential Iranian anti-ship fire.
I find it very unlikely the Fraidy Abe will launch carrier-based airstrikes into Iran from such a distant stand-off position. In my view, CSG-3’s movements in the past several days strongly confirm my longstanding thesis that carriers are obsolete relics of a bygone era.
Fact is, the Yemeni proved that thesis in 2024-2025.
On the other hand, US air assets have been considerably augmented in recent days. More tankers, more strike aircraft (including at least one F-35A squadron), more SEAD aircraft (E/A-18 Growlers).
No credible indication of strategic bomber assets (B-2, B-52, B-1B). But they could appear with relatively short notice.
It also appears that the US has transferred pretty much all its available THAAD and Patriot systems to the region. They’re obviously trying to prepare as best they can for an Iranian counterstrike — although both THAAD and Patriot had abysmal success during the 12-Day War, and both the US and Israel effectively exhausted their stockpiles of interceptors, which was the primary motivation for them begging Iran for a ceasefire.
So that’s pretty much where we stand at this point.
“Negotiations” between the US and Iran have completely broken down — no surprise there, since the US is effectively demanding that Iran prostrate itself and submit to imperial vassalage.
I figure the fireworks could start as soon as tonight, but it’s also possible that the whole thing gets called off at the last moment.
Why would they call it off at the last moment? Because the whole thing is nucking futs.
Sure, I understand that virtually everyone around the world believes the empire can go anywhere it chooses and do anything it wants against any country on the planet — and that “third-world Iran” poses no credible threat to US military awesomeness.
But I remain convinced the US attacking Iran is an extremely high risk undertaking.

Israeli activist on Palestinians: ‘Destroy their offspring to prevent them from creating more offspring’

9 John Gilberts.  Ghassan Abu-Sittah is a British Palestine Assoc. Prof. of surgery, plastic and reconstructive who has worked in Gaza and condemns Israhell’s decision to boot out of Gaza the following humanitarian organizations among others: American French Service Committee, World Vision, chapters of Oxfam, the Norwegian Refugee Council and Doctors Without Borders, unless these organizations turn over a list of their Palestinian humanitarian workers, which all had refused to do until last week Doctors Without Borders turned about and conceded so they could continue their work in Gaza, privileging the perpetuation of their Palestine chapter over the safety of the lives of Palestinian health workers, a record number of whom have been killed by Israhell. On the other hand, Oxfam has continued to refuse the Israhell mandate, as has the American Friends Service Committee, among others. Dr. Ghassam points out that conceding to this colonialist tactic by Israhell –with the world as it has currently showed itself to continually roll over– is on the way to eliminating medical treatment entirely for the colonized Palestinians and must be resisted.

70 Lavieja. I mistakenly called Dr. Abu-Sittah, Dr. Ghassan in above post.
At the end of his discussion with the four Electronic Intifada panel, Dr. Abu-Sittah told them this:
“There’s a data base called Pub Med for medical research and I came across a research paper from ’96, an Israeli research paper that found that 66% of the Israelis are allergic to the pollen of olive trees. And for me that is what got me through the day in having to spend the day writing and recalling some of these horrendous experiences.
We will continue to fight for that land because we are an extension of that land.  We are not allergic to it in the way the colonial settler is allergic to it. We are attuned to it’s every beating heart and breath, and we will continue. We will continue. We will be here …”

I say, Let the Israhelli Zionists continue their age old tradition of wandering the earth despised and rejected as they deserve to be, but since they are not welcome anywhere, they will have to go to an island, rather like the lepers were isolated on an island, not an island which has resources that are relied upon by any other humans or beasts, rather a barren island that has little fauna or flora to which the israhellis may be alergic.

⚠️ Reuters has now confirmed what many suspected.

In early 2024, U.S. diplomats blocked internal cables describing northern Gaza as an “Apocalyptic Wasteland.” The reports included harrowing details: human bones scattered in the streets, bodies left abandoned in cars, & a total collapse of access to food, clean water, and medical aid.

These cables were not speculation. They were based on first-hand field observations from U.N. agencies & humanitarian workers on the ground.

So why were they blocked?

Because they were considered “too graphic.”
Because they “lacked balance.”
Because they might make Israel look bad.

Senior officials at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, including Ambassador Jack Lew & Deputy Chief Stephanie Hallett, stopped the reports from reaching higher levels of the U.S. government. They feared the cables would contradict the administration’s public narrative & disrupt ongoing political cover for Israel’s actions in Gaza.

According to former officials, humanitarian experts were sidelined, ignored, & outright dismissed. Inside meetings, the question from officials was not how to respond to starvation, but reportedly, “Where are all the skinny kids?”

This was not merely policy misjudgment, but complicity on a grand scale.  The Biden administration had access to concrete evidence of mass death, starvation, & social collapse. Instead of sounding the alarm, it chose to suppress the truth to preserve its political position.  They did not just ignore the warnings. They buried them.
Let that sink in.

Subtweet in Hebrew at the link

This is probably the most important Hebrew Tweet I’ve ever seen. Moshe Ya’alon is a former chief of staff and defense minister. The absolute cream of the Israeli defense establishment. In this text he admits that the Israeli government and settlers have become Judeo-Nazis and their policy is based on Jewish supremacy.

Here is a full translation:

“On the last Tuesday evening, I attended an event marking the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. When I got home, I received a message about Jewish pogromists attacking Palestinians in the south of Hebron, stealing their livestock, and burning their property. “We can’t compare!…”

After ambulances, which tried to reach the scene, were delayed by the Jewish terrorists, three Palestinians were evacuated to the hospital, one of them with skull fractures. “No event can ever compare to the Holocaust, which we endured!” …

I turned, of course, immediately to the security authorities in the area, and I was assured that the incident was being handled by the IDF. To this day not a single Jewish terrorist has been stopped (as in many other cases), because … the Israel Police is controlled by a convicted criminal, a fascist racist Nazi, the Shin Bet is controlled by a representative of “Jewish supremacy” from the schools of the rabbis Tao, Lior, Ginzburg, and Zini (Dodo), the defense minister prevents administrative detentions of Jewish terrorists, and the other minister in the Ministry of Defense encourages illegal outposts and equips them with off-road vehicles, to torment the lives of Palestinians, to evict them from their land, and to settle the land with Jews (you’ll ask again why I blamed the government for “ethnic cleansing”!?). The ideology of “Jewish supremacy,” which has become dominant in the Israeli government, resembles Nazi racial theory, “but we must not compare!” …

When I commanded the Jerusalem and Samaria Division, the Central Command, and the IDF, I was acquainted with the warnings of Professor Yeshayahu Leibowitz, regarding the process of dehumanization to the point of turning us into “Judeo-Nazis” (as he put it), under our control of another people. I did my best, even as defense minister, “so that we may know how to defeat terrorism and remain human.”

I never deceived myself into thinking that only through concessions would we achieve “peace now,” and I also understood the danger of “Jewish supremacy” over our future and our existence. Therefore I advocated separation according to the proto-programmatic speech of Yitzhak Rabin of October 5, 1995, and therefore I named my book is “A Long Short Way.” As of now, Professor Yeshayahu Leibowitz was right and I was wrong.

The task of the next Israeli government is to prove that Professor Leibowitz was wrong, and not to bring ruin upon our state. The government of “Jewish Supremacy” — the government of lies and betrayal — the government of messianism, the traitors and the corrupt — must be replaced before ruin.”

Israelis of conscience see that it is adopting the policies of Judeo-Nazism and Jewish supremacy. They have known it for a long time. But most do not have the courage to say so. This is an earthquake.

——–

Ok, Israelis know what the problems are, but they will allow the genocide to continue. I have no sympathy. They are no longer human IMO.

Men get arrested, dogs get put down.

In 1992 a left wing Sociology College Lecturer explained Thatcherism to us for  the first time.
For twelve years the Thatcher Lobby had produced nothing but PR , meaningless garbage about Conservative ideas.

Your adversary understands you and AlJazeerah cannot in any way be described as Israel’s adversary.  Pure waffle, framed in  meaningless statistics.
Qatar enabled Oct 7, making sure that USUKIS was well informed in advance, so that they could plan their Hannibal and their Nazi Apartheid propaganda reponses.

This is why the Thatcherites under BoJo and the one whose name I forget chickened out of power and created Starmer, so that it was harder to trace their direct responsibility for both the Ukraine Genocide and West Asia.

Israelis Hate Netanyahu, who is a conceited academic narcissist with no respect with religion or Law. The posture of Al Jazeera is of a Muslim supporter of Israel’s genocide, only wishing that it could itself replicate Israel’s violence without incurring the wrath of the Muslim Ummah.

Simple observation about the Gulfie/Sauds trade  relationships with other Muslims countries.

It’s just about ok for Russia and China to play globalist politics WRT Israel and Palestine.
But countries like Sauds and UAE with Muslim populations who hate the USUKIS genocides cannot expect like UAE to build power stations in Kurdistan without popular condemnation, insurrection and vandalism.

The Sauds, Qatar,  Egypt, Jordan and Dubai are heading  for ostracisation and popukar revolutions if they work for or with Israel genociding Palestinr, Somalia , Sudan or Nigeria .

Arms sales to Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The US Department of Defense has approved a $1.98 billion deal for light tactical vehicles for Israel, a potential $3.8 billion deal for Apache helicopters for Israel, a $150 million deal for light helicopters for Israel, and a $740 million deal for engines and logistical support for Namer armored personnel carriers for Israel

————–

The Trump administration has approved a massive new series of arms sales to Israel totaling $6.67 billion and to Saudi Arabia worth $9 billion.

The State Department announced the sales to America’s allies in the Middle East late Friday as tensions rise in the region over the possibility of U.S. military strikes on Iran. They were made public after the department notified Congress of its approval of the sales earlier Friday. […]

The Saudi sale is for 730 Patriot missiles and related equipment that “will support the foreign policy and national security objectives of the United States by improving the security of a Major non-NATO Ally that is a force for political stability and economic progress in the Gulf Region,” the department said.

“This enhanced capability will protect land forces of Saudi Arabia, the United States, and local allies and will significantly improve Saudi Arabia’s contribution” to the integrated air and missile defense system in the region, it said.

It was announced after Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman met with top Trump administration officials like Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

A series of arms packages to Israel

The sales to Israel are split into four separate packages, including one for 30 Apache attack helicopters and related equipment and weapons, with another for 3,250 light tactical vehicles.

The Apache helicopters, which will be equipped with rocket launchers and advanced targeting gear, are the biggest part of the total package, coming to $3.8 billion, according to the State Department.

The next largest portion is the light tactical vehicles, which will be used to move personnel and logistics “to extend lines of communication” for the Israel Defense Forces and will cost $1.98 billion, it said.[…]

Under the deals, Israel will spend an additional $740 million on power packs for armored personnel carriers it has had in service since 2008, the State Department said. The remaining $150 million will be spent on a small but unreported number of light utility helicopters to complement similar equipment it already has, it said.[…]

“The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to U.S. national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability,” the statements said.

According to Axios:

Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman is urging Washington to attack Iran: He argues that refraining from military action against Tehran could weaken regional deterrence and strengthen the Iranian regime. The Saudi minister’s remarks came during a closed-door briefing held Friday in Washington, D.C., Axios reported.

The American news site quoted four sources who attended the meeting as saying that Khalid bin Salman stated, “At this stage, if this (military strike) doesn’t happen, it will only embolden the regime.”

Belief, IMO, is about the believer, not the subject. Divine belief is one of the few times that humans don’t make something all about themselves.

One of the things I like best about Islam is that it isn’t Messianic or oriented around proselytizing.

If someone wants to participate, they are welcome. If not, as we say, “Allahu a’alam” (God knows best).

Rafah crossing is reopening only for civilian crossing, and highly limited at that.  The IDF is apparently using facial recognition to limit Palestinians from re-entering.
No supply trucks of food, clothing, medical supplies or housing materials are being permitted entry at this crossing, in clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.
But then, the IDF has already violated the ceasefire 1000 times and has murdered over 500 civilians since the cease fire began.
And in the West Bank, settler raids on Palestinian farmers continue unchecked.
Nothing has changed folks, nothing.
And now we preparation for more attacks on Iran, all part of the Bibi strategy……a continuous state of war……….for Greater Israel.
Fun facts – the IDF has now walled off Bethlehem and Nazareth and has destroyed Capernaum (the site of Jesus’s first preaching) too.

The Chinese have brokered a rapprochement between KSA and Iran, which is no small thing. Sunnis and Shias have a long and contentious history.

Over the last year, the Saudi Defense Minister has visited the Ayatollah to discuss relations several times. Note that’s a military meeting, not with the civilian government.

I have become quite jaded. Until a conflict has passed, I expect everyone, except Ansar Allah and Hezbollah to betray Iran.

Self-interest and betrayal are timeless “values” in the Arab world.

The UAE is the Arab regime most close to the Israelis and an arch enemy of KSA.

IDF has killed 31 Palestinians since this morning, including 6 children and 4 female police officers at the Radwan police station (the female officers take care of women’s affairs in the local area).  Several Palestinian police officers are still under the rubble, probably martyred.

IDF also blew up tents in al Mawasi this morning.

Israelis claim Hamas broke the ceasefire and that they saw Hamas fighters emerging from a tunnel.  Just never gets old, does it?

Since morning, there have been martyrs, shelling, and body parts. I don’t know where the mediators are, but what I do know is that they are complicit in every drop of blood spilled on this purified land.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem stated:

“The occupation’s false claims that the bombing and massacres in the Gaza Strip are a ‘response’ to Hamas’s violations of the ceasefire agreement are nothing but a blatant and pathetic attempt to justify the horrific massacres committed against civilians.

These baseless and flimsy claims confirm the occupation’s contempt for the mediators, the guarantor states, and all parties involved in the so-called ‘Peace Council.'”

I know about the Sunni/Shia divide (despite the Quran’s warning against splitting into sects), but someimes even that does not explain the way the Arab nations treat each other.  It appears to be haphazard; countries are just randomly friends one day and ticked off the next.  And they all seem to be willing to do business against each other’s interests when the US gets involved.  No doubt you are correct about waiting until the conflict is over to figure out where they all stood when it counted.

*** At the end of his discussion with the four Electronic Intifada panel, Dr. Abu-Sittah told them this:“There’s a data base called Pub Med for medical research and I came across a research paper from ’96, an Israeli research paper that found that 66% of the Israelis are allergic to the pollen of olive trees. And for me that is what got me through the day in having to spend the day writing and recalling some of these horrendous experiences. We will continue to fight for that land because we are an extension of that land.  We are not allergic to it … ***

So would it nowadays be deemed allegedly “anti-semitic” to display a badge or logo which includes an olive branch?

Or — as per garlic and vampires — to wear a sprig of olive to keep the Khazars away?
