Over 53% of Gaza, according to the JPost is still occupied by the IDF.
Since the ceasefire there have been over 1,000 IDF violations of the agreement, and over 500 Palestinian civilians have been murdered.
The IDF continues to bomb apartment bldgs in Gaza, (although very few are still habitable), and shoot at and kill children near the yellow line.

Not sure if you are an expert (i am not) but there seems to be a return to an older view that narcissism, and psychopathy (and some neurotic conditions) are largely inherited and physiological. This view was apparently accepted in the 60s disappeared for 60 years and is now re-emerging.
 
The idea was that they are on a continuum with true psychopaths having an emotional empathy score of a toddler, narcissists a rather older child with some understanding but not control and neurotics somehow stuck in teenage/puberty years.   No idea how valid it is, but having at least one relation who is clearly in the narcissist category, I rather lean toward it.

I thank George for his explanations because it has let me understand how i loved a malignant narcissist and why he acted so badly in reply. 
Now to be more on topic i think that the regions who converted to judaism or christianity and later to Islam have lost any moral compass because their kings (notice the disappearance of queens in places such as Egypt or Syria in comparison to the pre-Christian times) and priests decides to use texts in a way where the difference between good and evil is blurred. I even start to think that the reference to the protection of orphans and widows, when it appears, is a vestige of the past. The OT is a manual of xenophobic hatred and a compilation of texts representing various religions and cultures that went through an harmonization at various points of history. The last stage, in Roman times, was that of the canonisation of some texts against others and this was done with little understanding of the material. The only focus is land grabbing and the destruction of the original inhabitants. No wonder the “west” has been stuck in the same pattern after it adopted this mediocre compilation. Now that we know the Cananean myths and Mesopotaamian and Egypts texts behind the main stories we can realize how much has been lost and how mediocre these scribes were.

Psychology is not an exact science and has developed out of many different viewpoints. By and large personality disorders are quite well accepted as genuine conditions that may be treatable using different methods. A list of them is not hard to find. As to whether some of these conditions are related to genetics (nature) or upbringing socialisation (nurture) depends on the specific disorder. From my reading on the subject, narcissism is more likely to be caused by the latter, but psychopathy is more complicated and could be related to either – I don’t think anyone knows with certainty. My background is more in cognitive science which enters into such topics, but I would hardly be alone in accepting that Trump shows many traits of a person who suffers from narcissism, and that view has been conveyed for a number of years by well qualified psychologists. His niece who is a clinical psychologist with a masters degree and Phd elaborated on this during his first term in office and classed him as more than just a narcissist in a book she wrote. I have noticed quite a number of others have addressed it as well, some with very well qualified backgrounds, so I am hardly alone in suggesting such claims. It’s where my thinking comes from.
 
The point I made earlier to Giyane (36) is that if he has such a condition, then it is not pleasant, and there are reasons why narcissists behave as they do and talk about how great they are. If something can be done about such a condition then we might be better looking at it from that point of view rather than simply projecting hatred towards such people, saying they will end up in hell, or calling them ‘evil’ as some do as well.

Religions of all kinds are on a continuum and grab ideas from many, many sources.
 
If we take just the middle eastern region, we have going backwards
 

•  Mohammedanism which was built on Judaism and Christianity and I think for Shia at least a great deal of Zorastrianism (especially in Iran and certainly in Syrian Allawis)
• European Christianity especially Catholicism, built obviously on the original Palestinian Christianity but also incorporating a great deal of the original Mediterranean religions especially veneration of Mary and almost ALL of the saints who were old gods
• Christianity (Coptic etc) built on Judaism also Mithradism and a fair bit of Zoroastrianism (angels and devil). No doubt Isis etc also contributed to the Jesus story
• Judaism no doubt drew heavily of various forms of sun god worship first practices in Egypt. it also no doubt drew on Zoroastrianism (or both stemmed from the same source)
• Almost all drew on ancient pagan religions, which form the bedrock of most superstitions still alive in most religions.
• I have been informed that some Shia rites include aspects of Hinduism. Even more stunning is a report by a Jesuit priest early traveler to India who pointed out that the original names for Abraham and Sarah had a striking parallel to Hindu stories of Rahman and Saravisti ie Son of Raham = (Ab raham)  which looks a heck of a lot like Abraham don’t you think.

 
So everyone accept religion evolves like everything else.  Believe what you will but do not disparage the beliefs of others.

Might I also submit a comment on another point discussed above.  Trump’s motivation.  Is he just another of them or is he the good guy wrestling with difficult opposition?  Whatever hopes one built on him in the past, and pace Krainer, I don’t believe he’s the latter.  And reading what we now know into events reaching as far back as Shayrat I was fooled if I ever thought he was.
 
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, one had to say as soon as Trump entered on his second term.  Colonel Lang was always very sceptical about him as far as foreign policy went and so, evidently, is Sleboda.  Fortunately, as long as he keeps his finger off the button, the Trump administration has less and less influence on events in the foreign policy sphere.  True heir to Biden and his team mostly as vicious.

This isn’t escalation because of Iran. It’s escalation because Israel can act with impunity while the West looks the other way. Keep pointing at Tehran all you want, while the fires burning in Lebanon say otherwise.

Anybody who wants to deprive others of their livelihoods is already in a hell state.
I’m thinking of the tool of US sanctions.
 
The Political Islam which Western Powers have created as a tool of military conquest, is founded on hate.
 
The US attacks anything that shows resistance, as Europe has always done, and as Islam has always done.
What we are witnessing now in West Asia is an alliance between Western and Islamic imperialism. Turkiye and the Gulfies are  US allies against Islam. 
 
Saudi Arabia has created the concept of  Zionist Greater Israel  in the same way that UAE and Qatar are publicly  now doing in Africa and  Palestine.
 
So I think we need to extend our label  of madness to the imperialists of both the West and of Islam. Iran is not an imperialist nation, which seems to infuriate the Western imperialists  and Islamist imperialists equally.

As we know, Nuttiyahoo has postponed his trial over and over because he was too busy with genocide.  Z-man has declared martial law and called off elections because he is too busy with grifting.  One reads that his parent now reside in a nice place in Meyer Lansky land, aka Miami.     Trumpstein has been trying to provoke an insurrection opportunity, clearly, but perhaps also his endless efforts at provoking wars comes down to the same Nuttiyahoo concern.   He doesn’t want to be impeached.

Let me explain. UAE is currently witnessed as the financial backers of the war in Sudan and “”” Somaliland “”” for Greater Israel.
Qatar is seen as the  engineer of  and finsncial backers of the planned and orchestrated Hamnibal catastrophe of Oct 7.
Sauds Arabia funded the training of Islamic State in Jordan, and the bribery that led to its control over Mosul and now Damascus.
 
So , are the Gulfies  innocent bystsnders to a US invasion of West Asia? No they are  much more than complicit.
