Will CentCom Condemn This Blatant Act Of Piracy?
U.S. Central Command – Press Release Nov. 16, 2025
[Country] Forces Illegally Seize Commercial Tanker in International Waters
November 16, 2025
Release Number 20251116-01
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TAMPA, Fla. – U.S. Central Command forces monitored an incident involving [Country] forces illegally boarding and seizing a Marshall Islands-flagged tanker transiting international waters in the Strait of Hormuz, Nov. 14.
M/V Talara was seized after being boarded by [Country] forces who arrived by helicopter. [Country] operatives then steered the tanker to [Country’s] territorial waters where the ship remains.
[Country’s] use of military forces to conduct an armed boarding and seizure of a commercial vessel in international waters constitutes a blatant violation of international law, undermining freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce. We call on [Country] to articulate to the international community the legal basis for its actions.
U.S. forces will continue to remain vigilant and work alongside our partners and allies to promote regional peace and stability.
I am now waiting for CentCom’s statement on this:
U.S. seizes oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, escalating tensions – CBS, Dec 10 2025
Washington — The U.S. has seized a large oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, officials said Wednesday, escalating tensions between the two countries. President Trump said he assumes the U.S. will keep the oil.
Bloomberg first reported the oil tanker seizure. Mr. Trump announced the seizure during a roundtable meeting at the White House, saying the tanker was “seized for a very good reason.”
…
The M/V Talara had been boarded by Iranian forces on November 15 because there was reason to believe that it was carrying Iranian oil that had been illegally smuggled out of the country. On November 19, after the oil on board had been tested, the vessel, its crew and its cargo were released.
The U.S. move, with the intent to keep the oil the tanker Skipper is carrying, is in contrast just blatant piracy.
Yeah, Right @ 15
Pam Bondi hasn’t explained how a US-issued “seizure warrant” overrules that right.
She doesn’t have to, you seem not to understand the Rules Based Order. So let me explain it in simple terms: Because the US is so exceptional (in large part b/c it is ruled by the Chosen People, and who can argue with God?), all international law springs from the US. In other words, the US makes the rules, and everyone else follows them: the Rules-Based Order.

Iran ransomed the oil, they’re under sanctions it’s hard for them to just sell it. … it doesn’t make Iran some sort of benign customs inspector.
First of all, the M/V Talara was seized in Iranian territorial waters. Second, it was seized as suspected of being involved in fuel smuggling, a huge problem for Iran. (If you don’t know, gasoline, since the 1979 revolution, has been virtually free in Iran. Heavily subsidized by the State, gasoline costs about $0.11 / gallon (€0.025 / liter); hence criminals seek to purchase such cheap gasoline in Iran and sell it in neighboring countries at market prices. This crime is committed not just by ordinary criminals but also by those seeking to undermine the government by causing it to incur losses.)

One of the main struggles in [Washington, D.C.] is between the neoliberals/neocon alliance (globalists) and MAGA-style nationalists. One way to unite these forces (who are all, basically to the man/woman, fascists) is to use imperial wars to create profits/riches for all parts of the oligarchy.
You have no understanding of either neo-cons, who are essentially Communist/Bolsheviks, or MAGA nationalists, who are definitely not fascists (or maybe you can prove how perhaps the most popular of the MAGA nationalists, Candace Owens, qualifies as a fascist, you ignorant fool).
Americans are fortunate in that they are, to some extent armed, and unlikely to tolerate the sort of repression the (frankly) degenerate populations of Europe
Small arms are irrelevant to a governmental crackdown with modern technology. The latest military budgets includes maybe $100 billion for AI and drones, which will be in addition to the massive surveillance state already in existence. The drones and endless surveillance cameras will monitor everyone and everything; the AI will analyze who opposes the Global Mafia; and the social credit score system can push them in the right direction or, if they get too out of line, the drones can calmly and easily take them out. Obama already set the precedent that US citizens, including children [Abdulrahman Anwar al-Awlaki], can be murdered by drones without a trial or conviction based solely on speech the Global Mafia disapproves. ——————————————————————————–
V had justification to respond militarily
Of course they have that right under international law (presuming they have the resources to take on the massive US navy presence in the area, which they clearly don’t), but that’s exactly what the Orange Pirate wants – a casus belli.

I disagree. As the last 150 years suggest, the US certainly needs no casus belli to wage war.
Really? Let’s go back through just a few examples where the US fabricated a casus belli: Gaza (the victims of genocide and ethnic cleansing are terrorists); Afghanistan (hosting bin Laden and 9/11); Iraq (WMDs); Libya (protection of civilians from Libyan army rape squads on Viagra); Grenada (threats to US medical students); Vietnam (Gulf of Tonkin); …. Of course the vast majority of US military actions are more covert and don’t involve full-scale invasions, but there is always a pack of lies to support those as well, each of which is a casus belli. Which war(s) do you claim had no casus belli, fabricated, provoked or what-not?
