I also have learned that the primary source material the analysts are using is generated by the Ukrainians, who are working in concert with CIA officers deployed in Ukraine. This is really disturbing, if Hersh has accurate information.
I have been writing the purple hair thing in this bar as a shorthand rhetorical flourish for questioning the methods being used to interpret the intelligence data and competence of the analysists. The only way the conclusions Hersh summarizes can be this bad is if a post modernist deconstruction methodology was used.
The education of all analysts involved is in issue here – not that there can ever be an investigation into all this secret stuff. No democratic process to apply pressure here. No siree. This is too important and there people are too smart to be questioned by Hicks who aren’t good enough to breathe the same air.
Two million men are dead – D E A D – because of intelligence like this.
