Greetings from Hanoi!  I’m here for a conference, the topics of which would undoubtedly interest many denizens of MoA. I only wish they were available online so I could share them with you.

While I await replies let’s have a sermon! And some links.

Be standing or seated barflies – I’ll preach some home truths.

The truth about the long never ending story at the genesis of the Great Game and it’s insane dynastic shapeshifter ousted khazar empire khans that went west to launch their attacks from the seas upon EurAsia.

Why the insane amount of Russophobia and attempted Sinophobia.

“Glenn Diesen (@Glenn_Diesen)
For the past 300 years, UK and US containment of Russia has entailed limiting Russia’s reliable access to the sea. On Russia’s western borders, there are 3 seas: the Black Sea, the Baltic Sea, and the Arctic. NATO expansion threatened to cut Russia off from the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea, and the militarisation of Scandinavia will undermine Russia in the Arctic. While Scandinavia was a region of peace during the Cold War (neutral Finland and Sweden, self-imposed limitations by Norway), the region is now setting itself up as a frontline against Russia glenndiesen.substack.com/p/t…

The old bastards have been at it for a thousand years.
Failing everytime. Last century 50 million of Eurasians were killed in defending themselves from annihalation by the ziofascist shapeshifters that owns and rules over its Collecti West seaborne bases and imperialist settlers.

Now it tries to isolate Russian and multipolar sea power by throwing a chain between Europe and North America by attempting to control the North Atlantic around the artic circle.

The further attempt is to control the south Atlantic and pacific by claiming some kind of Western Hemisphere as their private part of the globe!

They are Flat Earthers who pretend the Earth is NOT round.

It does not have  ‘hemispheres’ but lines as the fictitious maps of Mordor.

They attempt to take the vast lands and claim the seas under some self deluded entitlement that echoes what their flat earth religions power base in Rome did a millenia ago.

From whence it set forth going West to take the East!
The naval conquests by forcing fake ‘Europeans’ and their fake Westphalian ’Nation States’ into dangerous journeys to invade and forcefully colonise the far off lands; encouraging mass migration through force, religious persecution  and even famines – when most people wanted to remain in their homelands.

Now they use the same persuasions to incite refugees and migrations from lands they have invaded to incite the colonialists and their remaing original homelands to further infamy – a greater human crime – the destruction of billions of humans so that only a pliable easily controlled Golden Billion will live to serve the FEW.

As they try again and again to take and destroy the RF and EurAsia- and the majority of the Global South – 85% of humanity.

With more lies, wars, disease, famine and because they are born and inbred insane – they are sociopathic megalomaniacs.

Always trying to fool people with their fake posturing.
Like those two.

This folks is the xmas pantomime season for kids – oh yes it is !
Both are dressed up as pantomime dames.

Elon the First rat king of Mars with his tribe of children from his collection of concubines and the rat bully-ingdon Boy – from the Bozo, Cameron, Rotten-child red shielded Oxford university Gang of Lords of the Flies; raised as spider leg pulling sociopaths from childhood, to mercilessly rule the world for their dynastic shapeshifter old bastard global robber barons warmakers and baby killers.

They are cut from the same cloth.
They are playing a fake yaa-boo shit throwing game.

Under no circumstances must anyone fail to ubderstand that.

Do not fall for it. Because it reinforces personal prejudice.
It enables them and their old bastard families to escape their life’s long guilt of murder and mayhem and shapeshift into tve future to unleash their progeny on future generations of Wasters deluded to into Xenophobia.

That base racism and button pushing petty nationalism is their chosen religion to make people go to war against their fellow humans.

Fuck them. Fake human bastards.
Their trans humanism must be eradicated for human civilsation to progress humanely – not under their robotic slave control.

It’s them FEW powerful killers against the MANY us they feast upon.

dunno if I can deliver a sermon but I would like clarification from all the supporters of extrajudicial murder of speedboat operators in the Caribbean.

One of the arguments brought forward are the deaths of drug users in the United States.  In their fevered minds killing someone who may be transporting these drugs will save the lives of these drug users.  How does that happen?  One boatload of cocaine will save the lives of 25,000 coke snorters?  How many people actually die from uncut cocaine?  I suppose you could OD on coke but you really have to want to.  So that leaves Fentanyl…I have been administered that drug after surgery and it works quite well.  If others wish to abuse that drug they will do so.  The opioid epidemic is hardly news and even old right-wing whackjobs like Rush Limbaugh were caught bringing Oxy into the United States.  Purdue Pharma made a lot of that stuff and many films and documentaries have been made about it.  But no one in MAGA land is calling for the assassination of the Sacklers.  Just like no one is calling for the killing of Jack Daniels or Jim Beam for all the drunk driver traffic deaths.  So it seems the issue is really competition.  When the drug is produced inside the US it is ok but if someone outside the US makes and sells it, the punishment is death by missile.

Simple solutions to complex problems are much liked by a lot of people it seems.  To think it through is way too much trouble.  Kill em all and let God sort them out.  But what I still don’t get is their need to come here to this forum and strive to convince all of us that killing unknown persons in international waters is a good thing.  That the rule of law is not necessary or even desired yet these seamen have broken a law and must be executed without due process.

Ecuador: President Noboa’s Family Business Links to Cocaine Trafficking to Europe Confirmed
Orinoco Tribune (Venezuela paper) has a short expose on Ecuadoran princeling Daniel Noboa’s cocaine shipments to the Balkans. Noboa is a darling of US empire, hard wired to the Miami gang, good friend of Little Narco Rubio.
“The report reveals that traffickers from the Balkans, linked to figures such as Serbian Nikola Đorđević (wanted in his country for cocaine trafficking) and Croatian Petar Ćosić (currently on trial for international trafficking, homicide, and criminal organization), claimed in their communications to have exclusive access to the cargo of the Ecuadorian exporter in the port of Guayaquil.”

Hegseth.  People keep failing to notice that the Ministry of War and Venezuela aggression have happened just as US was withdrawing permanently from conflict with Russia and China.  As confirmed now with NSS 2025.So yes it is awful, but no surprise US/Team Trump feels the need to appear disgustingly aggressive right now.It also appears to be winding down tariff wars and accepting it can’t win a race to AGI with China (or that AGI is not achieveable- who knows).  And concentrating on fixing the US economy.Net net – this is excellent news.  Even if one gives them no credit and just say bad people making the right decisions out of fear.

Once again Michael Tracey has been selected to represent the “Epstein” saga here. I find it interesting that Tracey has devoted such an extraordinary amount of time and energy to paint the Epstein issue as simply a “me too” scam by fake “adult victims” and their lawyers. It is secondarily a Democrat scam to “Russiagate” Trump. In making these claims he keeps using the same strategy. He writes long, detailed prosecutorial statements that, in a zillion words, focus completely on all facts that support his framing. Now this isn’t hard to do, since (1) there no doubt *are* lawyers and their clients trying to make money on this, and (2) there are absolutely Democrats trying to use “the Epstein files” for partisan purposes. But in focusing obsessively on these elements, over and over again, Tracey clearly and transparently omits all evidence of both sex crimes and, more importantly, other crimes (especially financial) and other connections (especially with foreign governments) that may be relevant.  And there is a lot of it. He also tries to undermine anyone who is working on these issues with one of two tactics. Either he ignores them (e.g. the work of Bloomberg or Drop Site News) or defames them by similar “debunking” tactics. This was especially the case with his transparent hit-job on Whitney Webb, in which he (1) used a somewhat careless but minor statement in passing that was incorrect to prove she is a “liar” while ignoring all the relevant material she has uncovered; and (1) relies on the purposely narrow and self-serving “investigation” by the DOJ of itself to “prove” its own exculpatory  bulls**t explanation of the Florida cover-up. That someone like Tracey could actually *believe* the latter is itself beyond belief. So why the f**k is he devoting SO much energy to such misdirection in this case??
Please b. I once again ask you to at least provide some balance here. Drop Site, Bloomberg, Gray Zone, etc.

Re: Hamas funded via Qatar by Israel, US

Today’s announcement by the PM that the funds were intended for the Palestinian people in Gaza and not Hamas is another case of “methinks he doth protest too much”. Retired Israeli officers have already stated they had budgets to fund radical groups and mosques in Gaza.

The reasons Israel wanted radical opposition in Gaza are now obvious. The disparity in the respective birth rates in Palestine and Israel meant that Jews would eventually be outvoted in a One State “democracy”.

US treasury has to roll over $9.2 trillion of sovereign debt bonds in 2025 (probably around $0.2-0.3 trillion for December) and another $9 trillion for 2026.

I doubt they can do that next year without either heavy printing press OR orchestrating a significant crash in the US stock market, trying to push capital into US bonds. They also have the ongoing ‘stablecoin’ project, backed by Tether buying US bonds. Funnily enough Tether itself is (claimed to be, whether true or not is not known) a major holder of physical gold, in league with large central banks.

@Snake in particular, and the Bar generally:
Role of Product Development in Human Affairs. Thesis: “human progress happens one new product at a time”.
Definition: “product” is a solution to a human problem. Number systems, language, wheel, electric motor, moveable  type, antibiotics, anesthetics, fertilizer, railroads,  internet. Culture, religions, magna carta. Products, every one of them. Think of their impact on the trajectory of human civilization.

There are some eras and situations and individuals that induced or delivered great strides in new product development. Is it worth knowing what those factors are that led to disproportionate results?

Is it worth it to systematically create those conditions? Could a Factory be conceived and built that has the inputs and process of new product development concentrated into one place?

I think so.
=======

As I stated in a prior thread, it’s not enough to create a new product. It has to be used – widely – in order to have any impact on the human condition.

To promulgate a product you need an enterprise that makes a living creating and distributing the product.

Here in the West, that “enterprise”  typically takes the form of a for-profit company. The enterprise doesn’t _have_ to  be a for-profit company, but it does need some means to sustain operations.

Consider some of the implications of building a factory that helps new product development occur, and then also helps new enterprise formation happen. What would  those implications be?

a. More people could own “the production”, and thereby get a bigger  share of the benefits of their own productivity

b. The _capacity_ to  create wealth would become more widely and evenly distributed. Why? The Factory would remove  many of the barriers that preclude most people from engaging in product development  and new  business formation. Why not just “distribute wealth” instead  of distributing the “capacity to generate  wealth”? ” Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for the  rest of his life”

c. Much accelerated problem-solving. Why? More people engaged, more capacity distributed means more product development, more comprehensive up-take of new products (got the production-distribution mechanism too, not just the new product). All that spells faster problem solving.

There are many other benefits, not least of which is individual life-style and freedom to self-actualize.

In the last  thread, William Gruff said that power should not be handed over from haves to have-nots until  the have-nots demonstrate that they have the “chops” to rule better than their predecessors. I asked William to elaborate on what “having the chops” might look like

The product development and business development capabilities I set out above offer a path, generally free from repression and pitched class-battles that achieves most of _my_ standards about how humans could  operate our societies and our planet. I submit that China’s “peaceful rise” strategy is very substantially based on the principles I set out above.

Tracey has been keen to focus on “sins” of the victims not the sins of the perpetrators. He is not alone, M Taibbi and several other media “influencers” are plowing the same furrow. As you say people wanting to get money are always present but I agree with you, the story resides beyond ephemera and beyond distraction. The idea that  a savvy group is fleecing the Epstein clients, who are all victims has echoes of A Dershowitz attempting to discredit testimony in the case in Florida. There he kvetched that a 14 year old witness “was a savvy operator who knew what she was getting involved in”. It seems as a strategy an attempt to remove the notion of “innocence” from the discussion – which of course helps the perpetrators.  Tracey will never want for powerful friends

It is tricky to  push back on victims of  sexual abuse, even trickier if the victims are/were minors, yet as Tracey and the rest prove, it can be done.

The Virgin Islands sued the Epstein estate and won over a $100 million. There were several dozen young women and children whose testimony formed the basis of the action. Why pay if you are not guilty? The testimony described some wild allegations. The same was true in Florida in 2008 yet only a misdemeanour was secured

I am in agreement that Tracey is a poor exemplar of Maxwell and Epstein’s crimes. Maybe b could produce a piece that includes some details from the Virgin Islands or Florida rather than allowing people like Tracey to set the agenda

My point is precisely that it is *not* a “sideshow,” but provides a glimpse behind the curtain into the way power operates among elite networks.  The Israel lobby, political influence of Silicon Valley tech lords, Middle East policy, East European policy, the “influence” of powerful political decision makers like Clinton. Yes, I am “into that.” My impression was that the site was, too.  Here is a useful discussion of what I am talking about:

For me, what Tracey is doing (and b is enabling by continuing to feature his absurdly biased work) is precisely creating a rabbit hole of misdirection which distracts from the real issues relevant to the Epstein issue. There are many people of diverse interests who would love it if we just agreed that there is really “nothing to see here,” so let’s move along.  Why is Tracey so obsessed with helping them in this endeavor?

China has instituted the most draconian rules for electric scooters and bikes
China has instituted the most draconian rules for electric scooters and bikes imaginable. Speed is restricted to 15 MPH with sophisticated electronic governing devices that can not be worked around. All must have Chinese version of GPS tracking. Only 2% plastic so the seat is made of steel. The battery must be particularly small and must now ‘talk’ to the charger. No second rider or cargo baskets allowed. And theirs more. The add requirements double the cost of individual vehicles to nearly $400 for low end models
The Chinese authorities are snatching electric scooters/bikes not in strict compliance off the streets. This, if the Chinese Government adhears to this policy, there should be expected some of the most significant protests against the Communist party and the idea that only 1 party is allowed seen in China in decades
Meanwhile, over in the Republic of China mislabeled Taiwan, the leading opposition candidate is proclaiming she is against separating the island from the mainland because that is what the majority of people on the streets want.
Within sight is the greatest chance to reunite China under the reformed New Tang Party the same party that fled for their lives some 70 years ago.

Part of the problem with the US getting out of NATO is, that means the US doesn’t call the shots any more.  In the new NSS document, the references endorsing right-wing governments also suggests that the real meaning is not that the US gets out of NATO but that NATO puts more resources into properly anti-woke hands. As to the physical obstacles, it is more possible to build new plants dedicated to military production of standardized weapons, even to a degree advanced ones, as near as I can tell. (Look at Russia, which hasn’t even instituted a war economy.) But also, near as I can tell, the aerospace commitments necessary for intelligence where satellites are so essential, are much more for so-to-speak designer goods. A NATO that does that can have its own arsenal of MIRVed ICBMs. (By the way, putting up a new satellite network can literally collide with the old one.) I am fairly skeptical that the NSS is genuinely thought, rather than a more or less random collage of MAGA talking points.

It’s completely possible EURUSD goes to below 1.0, as Eurocuckistan is much worse off than US. It would probably be associated with deterioration and decline of things produced and exported in the Eurozone, which is an inevitable trajectory. Growth in EU will also crater as social/health budgets are shifted to low-growth and employing defense sectors, debt will be constrained and more taxation and regulation just worsens things.

dan of steele @4:  “I would like clarification from all the supporters of extrajudicial murder of speedboat operators in the Caribbean.”

Obviously, the lives of druggies is just a pretext. Nobody actually cares about them, which I suppose is part of the reason they are druggies in the first place, but that is a pointless digression. The attacks are a pretext, but a pretext for what, exactly? What is the point?

First of all, the attacks pose no problem for Venezuela. They are not going to destabilize the Venezuelan government in the slightest. On the contrary, the attacks are much more likely to motivate the Venezuelan people to rally `round the flag, particularly if the government plays the narrative right. This angle is so obvious that it also must have occurred to Trump & Co., so that is clearly not the objective.

But maybe it is part of an effort to economically impact Venezuela? Maybe these boaters really are just fishermen in outrageously expensive and overpowered fishing boats, and hitting them will cripple the local economy? Yeah, right!

Drug trafficking is maybe a revenue stream for Venezuela that Trump hopes to cut? Nope, nobody with the slightest clue believes that, including the Trump Administration.

Trump wants to distract from the Epstein narrative? People were already losing interest, and none of the shit the mass media was flinging in that regard stuck to Trump anyway. Furthermore, the most significant criticism of Trump on Epstein was coming from Trump supporter themselves. They are not easily distracted by media-driven narratives, which is why they became Trump supporters in the first place. The Trump Admin couldn’t miss the fact that the real outrage over Epstein (again, strictly among Trump supporters… the rest is faux outrage) wasn’t derailed by sinking a couple smuggler boats and would have move on to other distraction by now if distraction was the point.

Trump just wants to kill some people? The military just likes killing innocent civilians? People with TDS brain damage certainly think so, but they have brain damage and so their opinions are crap. There are plenty of other places where the military was already killing people, and there are plenty of other places Trump could pick to kill people if that was his intention. No, there has to be something about these particular boaters that sets them apart from the billions of possible innocent civilians that could be killed. What could that be? What is special about these particular boaters?

Maybe they are not just innocent civilians. Maybe they really are running drugs. But we already covered that… nobody really cares. What else could draw attention?

That they’re running drugs for the CIA. That’s kinda special. You pull out Occam’s razor and trim away the retardation and emotional hysteria and the fact that interdicting these particular drug runners cuts into the CIA’s “off-budget financing” is what is left over. I know the TDS victims hate hearing that as it puts them on the wrong side of the issue, but it is not unusual for people with damaged cognitive abilities to find themselves unintentionally on the bad guys’ side.

Good post.

In the late 90’s I bought a Candain patent from the inventor’s widow for $50k called the Zincolator.

Basically you attached the zincolator (a plastic container about 9 inches long with zinc plates with holes in them) to your filter system of your swimming pool.
It was remarkable  as the zinc would take over  chlorine’s job of purifying the water-it was a one time thing-we could make them for $80 pass them on the the pool distributor for $160 and they would install it for $400 or so.

It would save the pool owner the probs associated with chlorine, wouldn’t need a pool guy and it would be about $1k to $3k cheaper per year.

I felt I was going to maker a fortune.

However, when marketing to the ‘pool guy’ companies they said; “That would put us out of business” so they declined.  I tried direct marketing but it didn’t work as they would refer to their ‘pool guy’ and they would laugh at the idea -and I was running low on funds and interest.

I gave 5 or 6 of them to friends whom had pools.  They are still using them today, no complaints, saving money and a no chlorine pool.

Without supporting links and some rationale, that this is propaganda straight out of Taipei.
If you live in a town or city that has been blighted by e-scooters or easily hackable e-bikes, you will find many of these measures very welcome. Across the west remote control and tracking of other road vehicles (new cars, trucks, motorbikes) has been written into law decades ago. Don’t believe the stories about Chinese e-buses being remotely controllable, EU/UK and probably US law requires it before they can be approved for sale.
If you really care about muh freedom, speak out about repealing the “Patriot” Act and other “anti-terror” laws that never catch any terrorists but deprive the honest citizens of long held freedoms they once took for granted.

To follow up, the Chinese government is mostly citizen driven.

Frank Herbert, if he were still alive, might call it a “Watchdog society”.

The CPC is drawn from everyday people. Teachers, workers, military, scientists, etc. Credentials are not necessary, only commitment to the people and the furtherance of the nation.

That’s why they happily unalive any Chinese trying to take advantage of the Chinese people.

Ever notice China doesn’t have drug, human trafficking, or pedophile problems?

It’s not just the absence of Zionists. It’s a civilization that is always on guard.

If the Chinese government was acting against the Chinese people, it would be masochism. It is possible, but highly unlikely.

How China operates has no analogue in the West.

Great story. And yes, your product would really put a crimp in the pool-service business, so it’s clear you had “a channel problem” – e.g. how to get the product into the hands of the customer.

Later on I’ll riff off your story; great  baseline to examine Factory operations.

The dialog might be: here’s a great  product, now what  would the design of the business that promulgated this product be? think  of a company as a particular permutation of multi-variables, sorta like  kaleidoscope or maybe Rubik’s  cube.

The mfg’g, the distribution channel,  the promotional mechanisms, …. all those dimensions  whose dials need to get  twiddled to find the right combo.

I’d like to thank both Brian Berletic and Glenn Diesen for matter-of-factly stating in their articles that the US was responsible for blowing up the Nordstream pipelines.
As far as I’m aware, all Western mainstream media sources (including Wikipedia) continue to dishonestly suggest that a handful of Ukrainians in a rented sailboat may have blown up the pipelines.
The likelihood of that being true is less than the chance of some fat guy landing on your roof and climbing down your [non-existent] chimney every year.
The reason the public’s trust in “the powers that be” continues to hit new lows is because Western media/govt./political puppets continue their chronic lying. They’ve earned themselves a reputation of being full of shit.

Posted by: Mark Mosby | Dec 7 2025 17:04 utc | 43

Re the Berletic article, the original sin for all this was China and Russia allowing the Iran UNSC sanctions and the subsequent USA third party sanctions to take place w/o an effective challenge. If the two of them had acted in concert back then (2012 to 15) to stuff the out of country sanctions effectively, we would not be where we are now.

But they allowed parochial interests to get in the way of the strategic … a real error with consequences empowering the US empire.

The USSR supported Israel greatly. Today, Russia is much more circumspect about it, allying with Iran, Israel’s enemy.

China plays a long game that, I think, is near impossible for a Western mind to comprehend.

The sin is America and the West’s alone.

Posted by: LoveDonbass | Dec 7 2025 17:20 utc | 46

LoveD – Off course the sin is America’s … but the point is that China/Russia’s actions in the 2010s have led directly to empowering the whole concept of third-party sanctions, which is currently getting Russia (and will later get China) deeply in trouble.

So maybe you’re right and maybe China is playing some deep 10-D chess moves but it’s very hard to see it right now 🙂

No I don’t have any left-its just a bad memory-but the science in pools is catching up-here is some research I found on the interweb (1)

1. “Ionization has been around for a couple of decades and there has been quite a bit of advancement. Ionization is the process in which a current is supplied to a sacrificial electrode made of various metals and subatomic particles, ions, are pulled off and pass through a stream of running water. The composition of metals include copper, copper/silver, or copper/zinc. These metals are toxic to many forms of bacteria and algae. At recommended levels, it is totally safe for humans and animals. It is important that only high purity metals are being utilized. Otherwise impurities such as carbon can stain a pool. ” (1)

Ha,ha-yes the patent was gone by 2012-but I did get rewarded by this ‘cautionary tale”-by this economic disaster I figured out that I was certainly not as smart as I thought I was and swore to myself I would stick to my .mineral exploration lane where I was more experienced.

The widow was the smart one-her husband had tried to sell it for 8 years with no luck ; so when I negotiated with her I offered her a generous royalty (5% of gross sales} as I thought I was ‘robbing’ her with just $50k  for such a marvelous product.

A few years later I saw her at a restaurant and I told her about my failure with the Zincolater-she bought me a drink and we had a laugh when she said, nicely, “You are a  dreamer just like my husband….” she hesitated then intoned, “but his dedication to his pet project was just as strong  as his dedication to me and I loved him for that”.

I agree with Gruff-Trump administration cutting some more CIA grass after shutting down USAID-and what is left of it is now under Secretary of State.

The CIA, like any organization, isn’t monolithic there are dueling factions-Tucker Carlson’s step father was a ‘good’ CIA.

It got real bad when Bush Jr. got elected and three hearted (the irony-he had two hear transplants and 5 heart attacks) Cheney fired all the competent CIA and replaced them with neo cons and it degenerated..

Well let’s not trot out the myth that a good capitalism is undermined by cartels, regulation, or vested interests, i.e. bad capitalism. Strange that your piece recounting capitalist heroism about patents and trying to make a buck should conclude that the problem is profits over progress (I’d be laughing if not for the crying)! All capital behaves the same way and the obstacles you encountered are not anomalies or pathologies, but normal. The technological dividend of capitalism—which even Marx accepted was a marvel and brought great human benefit—is, however, a side-effect of capital’s ruthless and rapacious striving to reproduce itself. A central myth, and contradiction, of capital—that its end is progress—is in fact well illustrated by your story.

many countries regulate electric scooters and e-bikes by dividing into 2 classrs based on top speed capability..

below 15MPH are treated as bicycles and can use bike paths etc.

15MPH – 30MPH are treated as Mopeds and must use car streets but not Freeways.

above 30MPH are treated as motorcycles.
Most car dependent people lump all pf these mobility devices together. One last observation; the Car Dependent franework seems to be:

SAFE – 2 ton, 300HP, SUV driving 50MPH
DANGEROUS!!!! – 40lb e-bike, 1/4 HP, cycled at 15MPH

Wrong. I very specifically said people with Trump Derangement Syndrome have cognitive damage. They could be wonderful people, and even very intelligent under normal conditions, but like the combat veteran with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (exactly like… the conditions are related), when the condition is triggered it dramatically impairs their reasoning capabilities.

I have provided the proof repeatedly. Are you not paying attention? Is something impairing your cognition when topics related to Trump are raised?

Proof: Behavior of the Mockingbird (CIA-directed) mass media on the issue of the actions and how that behavior differs from mass media handling of ALL of the other targeted killings of civilians by the US. These attacks are hurting the CIA enough that they have activated The Mighty Wurlitzer to try and put a stop to them.

Here in the UK e-bikes and e-scooters are treated like bicycles (no licence/tax, law tilted in your favour because greenies) and ass often as not can be found driven on the pavement (sidewalk) and in pedestrian areas. Fat kid + e-scooter even at 15 mph is definitely a danger to pedestrians. So yeah, fuck ’em.
SUVs, as all other motor vehicles, require a licensed and insured driver, and are required to stick to the roads and observe the speed limits and other laws.
Probably OK in the US as nobody walks anywhere other than across the Walmart car-park, but not here.

Just to add, I’ve seen people on a dual carriageway, in the dark, riding along on an e-scooter. No lights, no reflective clothing, nothing and as much a danger to themselves as to everyone else. Of course, the driver gets the blame should he accidentally smear the tosser across the tarmac.

Indeed.  Lots of news footie and otherwise.  Galloway &  guest Hinkle with news of France and Nigeria bombing Benin and new developments in the Venezuelan campaign, not to mention Ukraine – will get back to that now. Cheers.

@71 gruff

I think I have another way of looking at this to help your cause.

Let’s say it is four years ago and Biden is enjoying being the punchline of every joke, smear, and columns, whether deservedly or not, and righties are almost deranged in their thinking that, somehow, someway, Biden is the source and cause of all the ills that have befallen this great nation, and, as a bonus, is also the great signifier that the esteemed office of the Presidency has been tainted in its image to such a degree that there would be no saving it from the threat of communism. Would this, in an inverted yet parallel sense, also approximate TDS that we see from ostensibly lefties?

In both cases, there is a lack of agency from the executive (we know that both Trump and Biden need their naps and are no doubt mere figureheads at this point of a deep state duopolist machine) even though Biden was thought by lefties to be a team player of the Demos while Trump is believed to be an authoritarian and strongman in the MAGA personality-culture.

Maybe that is why both Trump now and Biden then bored me to such a degree that I checked out completely from any address from the executive. They are both totally and utterly lacking in agency yet their detractors frame them entirely as the symbolic downfall of their own image of America as the City on the Hill.

I’ve read your link, thanks. Yes the writer offers a sobering analysis of Epstein’s less intimate activities. I had no idea that he was that much of a player, thinking him a very important pimp.

I do find it interesting that few are focusing on Maxwell and what, exactly, was her relationship to Epstein. Maxwell’s father was likely a very important Israeli asset –  he was buried on the Temple Mount – a consideration only the “highest” enjoy in death.

I do wonder if G Maxwell was following her father’s line of work. She grew up in the highest social strata, whereas Jeff Epstein was a product of the middle class. Sure he knew people but she knew them first.

It surely resonates that a serving president “wishes her well”, a president who many claim is the most pro-Israeli ever, regardless I’ve never heard of anyone wishing convicted child sex offenders “well” so the President of the US is out on a limb here and has nailed his colours to the mast. Maybe the best way to process his dissonant remark is to remember the way he pulled out that chair for Netanyahu when he visited the White House

are you suggesting new discoveries happen one at a time and new industries proliferate based on that discovery?

the use of the word product does not fit with the examples you used..

and is your one new product at time linear. one must complete before the next.. can begin..?  I think you meant new discoveries that lead to new industries are independent of each other and that the development of the industries are linear.. ??

its possible to have ten new products (technologies) developing in parallel..but the development of each is linear..

and products that incorporate these discoveries or technology express their substance and meaning in a series of new products more or less in linear fashion?

developing markets for new products expressing new technology is vastly different from developing new markets for products expressing well known technology.  Take the Optics market.. There are many different kinds, types, and uses for microscopes and telescopes.. The optics market seeks to serve those who need to see something small or something far away.  But the tools to see that smallest thing are complicated to use, often configured to be highly specific to the users application, and the equipment is expensive, difficult to use, and often it is outdated even before it can be put to the use it was acquired or built for.
New discoveries is not the same as new uses.. You need to explain your premise more throughly.. Thanks.

As the Chinese are demonstrating with their open source initiatives, closed source protectionism, aka IP (patent/copyright), defeats collaboration and group learning.

Capitalism was always fatally flawed. It has no forward looking or ethical dimension. Suitable for Zionism (greedy, immoral , and vulgar materialism) but not for humanity.

In China, there are dozens and dozens of firms working on AI and robotics. When one figures something out, it is often open source available to others. All manner of benefits accrue when work doesn’t have to be repeated but instead is collectively shared. That is true human efficiency.

The Chinese patent a lot, I think as a competitive mechanism. No point in allowing the Yanks to patent Chinese work that they will then deny access to others . If the Yanks patent, it’s like canuk’s patent, the idea/product dies.

Capitalism had its time but hasn’t aged well as its fundamental contradictions became exposed.

I think you are right on with that idea; and, it is much, much easier to have unelected officials in one Institution, the EU, that you train/ educate/ place and control than to do the same with 30 Sovereigns.

Instead of reducing the health consequences of fluoridation and the expense of needless maintenance. The pursuit of individual profit hindered access to a benefit for humanity.

canuk is not a bad guy for his role in that, but it is the predominant social perspective in the West, and IMO, why the balance of power has leadership has shifted to the East.

I understand your criticism and from your vantage point it seems reasonable, and my idea of capitalism incongruous with my idea that modern capitalism engenders ;profits over progress’.

Let me deconstruct your POV with the themes I have ubiquitously posted that you may not have picked up:

1. Modern ‘capitalism’  is not  classical ‘capitalism’ that was perfected ( as best as it could be) in the anti-trust ‘Sherman Act ‘ of 1890.) whereby monopolies would be disbanded-ie Standard Oil in the 20’s ; AT and T in the 80’s.

For example after the breakup of At and T -within 10 years the price of long distance phone cost went down 90%.

2.  There is no better system for meritocracy than classical capitalism-in no society can a person with a good idea-no capital-become wealthy ,powerful-there are examples are legion

3. Patent rights are only for 20 years or so-a fair exchange-20 years of monopoly for a better mouse trap-if there wasn’t monopoly right for a certain period no one would bother to invent, invest as there would  was no incentive Howver, today, Big Pharma et al fuck around with legals to make the patents last forever.

A good example is ‘Mickey Mouse’ which Disney created in 1929 with a 50 year patent but they have managed to keep the patent till today through legal wranglings.

These, above,  are not components of classical capitalism-this type of capitalism is an apostasy of the creed..

4.  . Marx, smarx-he forgot basic human motivation; in high school did you prefer to get together with the sexiest girl or it didn’t matter what the girl looked like?

50,000 years ago men would fight for the most nubile female-now it is more civilized yet it is still a fight- can you score the broad-it takes charm, gifts , effort, whatever you can do the competition cannot.

That’s all human nature in all endeavours (competition in all things)  is, was and ever will be in the future-classical capitalism mirrors that basic human nature thereby being the natural platform for mankind.

Now Trump has engineered that Ellison buy Tik  Tok, most media will henceforth be devoid of Israel’s crimes against humanity.

Would this, in an inverted yet parallel sense, also approximate TDS that we see from ostensibly lefties?

There are difficulties with trying to make a hypothetical equivalency. First and foremost is the difference in deep skepticism of the mass media between the “righties” and the “lefties”,  as well as their respective trust in academia. These institutions are what drive the development of TDS. Religion could drive a similar mass hysteria that, when prolonged as long as the anti-Trump hysteria has been maintained, could cause the development of a similar traumatic stress disorder, but heavy bible-thumping does not appear to me to be a big component of MAGA. In fact, all of the MAGA people I know in real life are essentially atheists. I suppose it is possible for a similar mass hysteria to arise organically in a population, but it is really difficult to imagine a true grass roots mass hysteria persisting without external drivers for years and years on end, and certainly not so long as to cause widespread and enduring traumatic stress disorders. I would expect the mass hysteria to burn itself out naturally before causing lasting damage to the participants… people would become exhausted, lose interest, and tune out long before sustaining injury without some external driver pumping the hysteria up on a daily basis.

So there are some big “ifs” to be addressed before we can make an equivalency. If there were some institutions deeply trusted by the righties that were stoking serious anti-Biden hysteria, to the point of triggering fight-or-flight reactions, and this anti-Biden hysteria was maintained for several years without respite, then yes, we could expect to see a Biden Derangement Syndrome being created. That didn’t happen, though. Rather, during the Biden Admin, there days, and even weeks at a time when Biden wouldn’t even be mentioned in the mass media. There were no external drivers to persistently drive people into a panic over Biden. If we imagine the existence of such drivers then an equivalency could be made with TDS, but there was nothing remotely like that happening.

From Reuters

Kremlin says new US security strategy accords largely with Russia’s view

The strategy, signed by Trump, also warned that Europe faces “civilizational erasure”, that it was a “core” U.S. interest to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine, and that Washington wanted to reestablish strategic stability with Russia.
“The adjustments that we see correspond in many ways to our vision,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told state television reporter Pavel Zarubin when asked about the new U.S. strategy.
Such fulsome public agreement between Moscow and Washington on the tectonic plates of global politics is rare, though they did cooperate closely after the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union on returning nuclear weapons from former Soviet republics to Russia, and after the deadly Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.

I don’t trust Trump but if Russia thinks this is an improvement over Biden then so be it.   Still a long way from agreement and likely interrupted by some sort of surrender, conditional or MAD contextualized unconditional.

I suppose someone could come along and assassinate Trump now and change this trajectory but otherwise the train to ending the Ukraine SMO is leaving the station.
