“DJT and PH have no intention of stopping the legit attacks on these supply vessels.  They will be destroyed by airstrikes as long as they continue to carry the deadly supplies of fent and cocaine and heroin and meth…”

LMFAO. None of those drugs besides cocaine – mainly destined for Europe and elsewhere (and decidedly non-deadly in crack or powder form) – are present on any of those boats or they would have swooped in, picked up the evidence and paraded it in front of the willing Trumpsphere media that you so obviously rely on for your idiocy like Bush would have shown us the Iraqi WMDs. Problem is none of it exists. You’re truly one of the biggest morons and murder-cheerleading pieces of shit to ever stain the pages of MoA. Ironically you’d have fit right in with Obama and his own extra-judicial assassins and Bush/Cheney’s torture squads.  You’re human filth.

“Capping” – LMAO. Now you speak ebonics when you think it makes you sound tough and cool? Show us proof that ANY of the people on ANY of those boats were narcotics cartel “capos” or that they were guilty of ANYTHING.

I roll my eyes at folks that come here and write about how great it is that America is addressing its drug consumption problem by blaming and killing others.

I roll my eyes at folks that come here and write about how America is such a great mediator with Ukraine, Occupied Palestine and Taiwan when in fact America is the perpetrator of the perfidy in all those places and many more.

I roll my eyes at folks that come here and spew delusional left/right talking points while being totally ignorant of our top/bottom form of social organization reality.

My eyes are tired of rolling and so I am off to rest them…..the shit show continues until it doesn’t………

Depending on which version of the story(ies) you believe, that isn’t an unreasonable thing to wonder about.

WERE they fastboats? If so, how many of the total number attacked?
ARE THERE valuable fish species in the area? We do know that there are plenty of markets who would pay top money for rare and exotic edible fish in the region and within reach of next-day air cargo.
HAVE any videos provided shown EITHER weapons, fishing gear or drugs? If so, which of them, how many, and what percentage of available footage shows what ?

But when ZERO meaningful footage, no actual video of weapons or drugs, no names named, and no intelligence is shared to back up allegations, let alone PROOF of anything – AND – when we have seen with our own eyes evidence that some boats can easily be intercepted/interdicted and the cargo and personnel seized and put on trial but instead NOTHING AT ALL is provided…

Well, I guess the question becomes a two part one: a) how intelligent really are you, and b) how much you’re pushing a pathetic partisan lie rather than genuinely wondering why the standards of “international law” or the accepted ethics of the high seas are being ignored or sneered at, but an American regime who has clearly – through multiple party leadership apparatuses – PRETENDED that’s something they care about…sometimes.

To be clear “you” (spoken by a native English speaker) does not always state or imply I am directing a hypothetical at YOU. It’s kind of the sloppy way of communicating, but how the Internet works. I never intended to question YOUR intelligence…but repeating things like “..if ONE belives…” etc. over and over begins to sound pedantic and pompous.

Thanks so much for the effort that you put into the above detailed and informative posts!

In 1988, Wang Hunin went to the US on an academic research trip. He stayed six months and visited 30 cities and 20 universities. After returning home to China he wrote “America versus America“, writing about contradictions of the US political and socio-economic system, along with his thoughts on capitalism versus democracy.

Wang Hunin is currently a member of the CPC’s Politburo Standing Committee  and the first-ranked secretary of the CPC’s Secretariat. Wang is generally regarded to be the chief ideologue of the Communist Party of China, and the leading guide behind the official political ideologies of at least three leaders beginning with Jiang Zemin in the 1990s. Thirty years later Wang is still part of the process of formulating Chinese government policy at the top level.

Wang Hunin presents a critical analysis of the structural problems that he saw facing the US in the 1990’s. Interestingly, he also presents a brief outlook of why he thought the US was heading toward a decline. Rather prescient from more than thirty years ago!

Since this conversation goes on here, I repost a comment that was replying to Tobias Cole, with some slight changes.
Biggest producers and smugglers of fentanyl in the south of the US are (drum roll) : Mexican cartels.

It is important to mention the international dimension of this crisis, even though it mainly affects the United States. According to the US authorities, who are overwhelmed by the scale of the health crisis affecting their country, the production of fentanyl is the root of the problem. China is being criticized for its lax control of substances produced by its pharmaceutical companies. The raw material for fentanyl is believed to be chemical precursors from China. The transport of these chemical components across the Pacific to the American continent involves other players in this crisis. Mexico, a hub for drug trafficking to the United States, is a key link in the transfer and manufacture of the substance. Once production is complete, the cartels arrange to smuggle the fentanyl across the border. However, according to US authorities, a whole network of actors is involved in this trafficking. Source

No mention of Venezuela at all…
If US’ intentions now and before ever really were to retaliate against drug traffic, then it would have used this “extreme violence” against Mexican and Columbian cartels who are the biggest providers.
But it didn’t happen, did it ? On the contrary, US Gov has always supported and if need be established leaderships that were lenient and even actively involved with the cartels. On top of that, absolutely nothing is done, except from local NGOs, to help these drugs addicts among whom a lot of army veterans who fought for your so-called values (freedom, democracy… my ass). The fabulous US of A just let them rot on the streets and move them like garbages when the place needs to be gentrified. And Tobias Cole is ready to send more of these soldiers to die on Venezuelan soil or come back to swell the ranks of homeless drug addicts ? Nah, the only reason why you’re drooling over Caracas has one name : oil. Remember Koweit and Irak. Same old same old.
Powell had anthrax, Trump has fentanyl.
The Us ‘war on drugs’ has always been a joke. The best use of it was to name a band.

It’s typical to publish (A LOT OF) documents on friday when very few people pay attention. The US government has done that before when something embarrassing had to be published. Or perhaps the US government hopes that people are “discouraged” by the sheer amount of documents and give up on digging through the documents.

I feel there is a social crisis approaching.  Who knows what will happen or when, but something big is coming.

Agree with your sentiments. Exile here predicts 2027.
There are tools to predict the coming regime shift in America and downstream in Europe. Look for longer delays in the response to small disturbances.
The system is highly resilient from our pov. It recently resisted the 2007-2009 Great Recession and the 2020-2022 COVID blowback. Those two disturbances are still being patched over and will continue to have a long shadow and now we have the Russo-Ukrainian war and all the treasure and other assets our leaders are wasting plus the higher costs of energy and disruption of various supply chains.
In addition to those three episodic disturbances, our system is suffering gradual deterioration by immigration, creeping up mediocrity, lower trust, weakened meritocracy, growth of public and private debt, and poor fertility rates, to mention the most egregious slow acting poisons.
So yes, I see a regime shift coming when I look on the horizon.

Appreciate reply – but I fail to make some sense of it. Yes, the US high school system is all over the place – but imho blaming Dewey  is a stretch too far.

I have time for American Pragmatism [the only philosophy to emerge from the young colonial entity in its early centuries] – James, Peirce, Dewey, Rorty etc and Dewey’s work on ‘practice’ and ‘action’ brought philosophy into everyday life – in to the lifeworld of thought, speech, and action/practice. IMHO, certainly not ‘faux’

So, we have very different takes on Dewey – it’s OK -it’s a bar. I read your comments …. sometimes I even agree ….

This is for those who may wish to delve into Dewey in a bit more detail:

I find your screaming response pretty preposterous.

Accusing people (me) of  being fascist, because of their observations and questions about China, is baseless, unreasonable and totally irrational.

Your attack formulated so: “Weaponizing leftist talking points to attack communist China doesn’t make you a leftist, it just makes you a progressive liberal, and as anyone who has read Losurdo’s Liberalism: A Counter-History would know, liberals are functionally fascists”, makes no sense, because it does not apply.

If you want to contribute to constructive debate, which presupposes different points of view and reasonable disagreement, do try to control your temper and discipline your reactions to other peoples posts by trying to understand what they are saying, even if you don’t like it.

For those pondering the real story of the Venezuela lie, here’s a very insightful Ben Norton analysis of the South American situation.   https://www.youtube.com/live/XYtCi-Wh3FU
I note in support of Ben’s analysis, I read today that the Warmonger Rubio has been recently in Paraguay to finalize a murikan military build up in Paraguay.
Ben gives insight into who is really running drugs.   Notably the Banana Billionaires from Ecuador who are collaborators with murika in oil stealing and military bases, as well as the drugs of course.    Murika doesn’t seem to mind drug running as long as it is done by friendly dictators.
A word on the fast boats.  OK two words.  First, none of them have even the most remote chance of reaching murika, which is at least 1200 miles away, on one tank of gas.   Second, if they are fisher fellers, they don’t carry ice due to space and weight considerations, so they hurry home with their catch.   If they happen to be carrying people – think of them as mini ferries, or perhaps water taxis, well who wants to stooge along in the sun with a little putput?

Cheers.   And yes indeed.  Sackers, Pritzers,  ya boy.   Obvio!   If some big shot fuckers in Murika weren’t making buckets of buckos off poisoning their own people, the import business would come to a halt.   Why does no one mention that?

@aristodemos | Dec 20 2025 5:51 utc. First, glad you got a charge from some well-earned affirmation.

On this point you made:

Yes, Colonel Baud emblemates the solidity and the can-do spirit which has long been a common thread amongst the mass of the Swiss people.  The more the EU bureaucraps fuck with him, the more popular he becomes amongst the European thinking classes.  So there is some residual sense amongst the European commons…to judge by massive demonstrations throughout the Sceptred Isle, Paris and several German cities…and then there are the Bulgarians.  Wow!

Add in the Belgians. The legal issue of “we’re not gonna be bag-holders for your theft” is part of the story, the part that provides the rationale to appeal to the pragmatists / focus-on-money types, but there’s a lot more iceberg under that above-water peak.

On to the EU dilemma, which I attempt to frame thus:

“EU little people are being herded (again) to their slaughter in service to sociopathic greed, and have a very short time to get off the conveyor belt of hysteria before Russia is (being deliberately, skillfully maneuvered)  forced to preemptively strike. To date (Ukraine arena) Russian strikes haven’t been at the foundations of the sociopaths; they’ve been tangential, and cause the destruction of innocents-caught-up.”

The innocents-caught-up phenomena is likely to get writ-large in the next installment.  Russia has made it quite clear they’re not planning to use tanks and artillery.

If Russia strikes in limited-escalation mode, it feeds the (sociopath created) well-established fear-hysteria. If it doesn’t strike, it will succumb to to the sociopaths. Therefore, Russia will use debilitating strikes, before EU can counter.

The high-benefit outcome is for the EU polity to turf-out the sociopaths, and to do that, some pretty fine, constant, and penetrating communication (education) needs to happen, and pretty quick.

Hence Jacques Baud’s attempted political assassination. He’s a very credible source (unimpeachable messenger) and he’s got – my guess, I don’t know how widely he’s known in EU – looks like he’s  got enough of a following to attract the ire of Kaja Kallas (front-line player for sociopaths). All good; getting flack? Over the target. Big guns? Over high-value target.

(flack: gunfire from the ground aimed at airplanes – bombers – over the target)

So J. Baud has flagged the target-zone, identified the behaviors most-threatening to the sociopaths. Radar ping bounced off the target, shows up on the screen.

I’m always wondering to myself what the vectors of entry are for the adverse-to-power-narrative messaging. (Please don’t answer that question, Bar) .   Who’s saying what to whom, in what context, and what are the words? People probably aren’t quoting the source, they’re paraphrasing. Wonder what they’re saying.

I think it would be fruitful to consider how this messaging is happening, and maybe learn to get good at it.  EU has a short time to get off the conveyor belt, and that’s why developing such skills is timely.

This is a foot-race: Rate of adaptation of the EU polity .vs. sociopath ability to herd EU polity .vs. Russia’s trip-wire event.

Who gets there first?

Woo-Woo World:

So the headline on the RT site reads “US bombs Syria.” Text explains that the tag-team of T.rump Rex and that idiot who smears his Norwegian surname, have bombed IS sites across that tortured land in retribution for a couple U$ aoldiers and a “Contractor” some days back near Palmyra.

Question nmbber first:  What the hell are American troops doing in Syria.  Does the U$$A have any business there?

Question number second:  Would someone please explain to me why such a hullabaloo happened when one of those “lone gunmen” was allegedly a member of that infamous terrorist organization, originally set up by Western spy groups.  How did they know he was part of that bunch of headchoppers?  Did they get the intel from the current regime in Damascus which also has Isis roots?

Question number turd:  Are the American taxpayers delighted that “our” Department of War (until recently it was “Defense”) is spending those dollars to support a regime known to have terrorist origins and at the same time offing one of those legendary “Lone Gunman” types.

Well, at least they do not hide under the mask of being the Defense Department.  So why they doing all this War $hit.  Is that being done on behalf of the WarDefense Industry, the last surviving major industrial across the fruited plain?  Does anyone believe that it is not being done on behalf of those London Banksters who are the biggest shareholders for Lockheed-Martin, the Number One major “defense” contractor on planet earth?

Tom Pfotzer @1245:  Key words: “If Russia strikes in limited escalation mode”.  Totally sensible and quite logical.  Thanks for pointing that out.  It gives us grounds for consideation.

Read on RT and perhaps a couple other sites just yesterday is that their full fleet of Oreshniks…the unstoppable message carriers…will be ready for Betty in early January.  That’s only a couple weeks or a bit more into the future.  So what would be considered as “limited escalation”?  Would an absolutely non-nuclear Oreshnik targeted at either Whitehall or MI6 headquarters receive its due attention?

A very loud declaration that those ultimate non-nuclear power strikers is obviously the ultra-soft initial message.  If there are wise heads in Western Europe, they must needs to whisper in certain ears: “Would you prefer to suffer some quick erasures of people working for destruction of the R.U…..or would you rather be yet another victim of Megadeath?

That broadcast from the Kremlin offered the Collective Waste an opportunity to achieve happy senility rather than a quickie.

How bout one pulverizing the Brussels based Bureaucrap building?  Would Macron and Merz possibly get the message?…perhaps even if Lavrov were to have announced at strike time that “we have a whole bunch of them and they can be extremely precisely targeted, while being essentially impossible to shoot down”.

I mean some people are so laden with specific density that a black eye and a bloody nose is nothing more than a very telling message.

They could also be advised that the second wave of Oreshniks…should the message not be respected…that the second wave may or may not be the legendary “first strike”.   It would be more sensible, I think, for that second wave…if needed…would precisely target a certain financial instititution in City of London…with a merely “soft” Oreshnik…one yet powerful enough to create “unintended collateral damage” to the insurance, media and metals world headquarters.  Messy for sure, but not a direct threat to planetary annihilation.

Might as well inform Washington of the situation.  If the Administration truly wants to make peace and prosperity with Russia, they too might deem it logical to cut the bombast in the face of a possible bomb-blast….and duly dissolve NATO as words to the wise.

Key to the messaging:  “There’s a new Big Boy in Town…get used to it.”

What should be obvious is these are supposed to be US allies. They have been given authority over a large swath of a desolate region that is under US control. There job is to protect the few US troops or agents that are in charge.  If they fail in their job they get spanked. If they do their job they get left alone.

You are correct – I’d imagine many Americans don’t care what their government is up to – as long as things are cheap – Yanks get things cheap such as gas/energy (petrol) – because their government and their armed forces steal it form other nations, military forces – need to be out prepping the ground for US companies that go in after a illegal invasion or attack – troops cannot be standing around not making money for US businesses and politicians – that what modern troops do now they are the tip of the spear used by governments – the governments are informed by big business that they want access to a certain nations resources and the military forces are used to get that access – the politicians get paid – off for doing so, and the complicit media,  lays the ground work for the invasion/attack – followed by countless BS stories of our brave troops fighting for freedom and democracy.

Come on – the redacted Epstein files! Who is not talking about them ? The msm obvs but what about all the esgy Alt-media?
The hasbarats ? The ziofascist worshippers busy lighting Jewish candles instead of celebrating the birt of the child they tried to stop being born!
Just as they have by destroying the newborn in Gaza! The eschatologists are mad enough to believe in their own fables!

What happened in Syria that the US started bombing the friendly isis that attacked some US bods last week?

What were they doing? Who attacked them? Who has been retaliated?

Was it connected to the bs Bondi stated show? who shot Ahmed Ahmed the hero Muslim? It seems he had engaged and disarmed the older attacker and was fine at that moment?
What of the stories of some black clad men heading to some Oz city that were stopped!!

The whole Bondi bs false flag just evaporated of our front pages like Englands ashes hopes!
Bah! Humbug.

Farrukh (@implausibleblog): “Keir Starmer’s Police State Political Prisoner latest “Doctor ‘Strangled’ by Police Officer Until She Passed Out at Hunger Strike Protest” You can hear her choking at the start of the video Novara Media: Dr Olivia Brandon was among several medical professionals who gathered with other supporters outside HMP Bronzefield on Wednesday 17 December to demand the prison allow in an ambulance to treat a hunger striker suffering from severe chest pains. The alleged attack came after police arrested two protesters, including psychiatric doctor Dr Ayo Moiett, who protesters say was targeted both because he is black and because he played a pivotal role in forcing the prison to eventually let the ambulance come. Brandon, who works in the A&E department at a London hospital, said she and other protesters sat in the road to prevent police vans from leaving with the detainees – after which officers “started assaulting everyone” as they cleared the road. She felt an officer grab her hoodie from behind and then drag her along the road. “I was wearing a tight jumper under my hoodie and because of the force the officer was using, this was strangling me. I remember retching and being in a lot of pain,” she said. “I was panicking and thought I was going to die. I could hear people screaming at the police that they were strangling me, but the officer wasn’t stopping. I stopped being able to see and then I passed out,” she said. Brandon said she fell unconscious for what she estimates was several seconds as the strangulation cut off the flow of blood to her brain. “I felt confused and disoriented for around 10 minutes afterwards, and was still in a lot of pain.” Brandon initially thought she didn’t need medical attention, but when she experienced increasing pain her sisters drove her to the A&E department at Homerton University Hospital in London. Staff there told her she needed a CT scan of the blood vessels in her head and neck, she said, “as strangulation causing rapid unconsciousness is due to compression of the carotid arteries to the brain. This can cause damage to the arteries, leading to later complications such as stroke.” She was discharged early the following morning after the scan found there had been no lasting injuries. She is considering legal action against Surrey Police and is trying to obtain the officer’s bodycam footage, she said. A spokesperson for Surrey Police told Novara Media: “Although we have not received a complaint directly, we have referred this matter to the Independent Office for Police Conduct for their review.” Before her alleged assault, Brandon told prison staff that their conduct towards Zuhrah was unlawful. “You will all be seen in court one day,” she said. “Severe chest pain gets a hospital transfer… if I made the decisions you are making in my hospital, I would be fired and I would be prosecuted and I would go to jail.”” | nitter.poast.org

The Epstein files will never be released – for there are far too many rich,  famous and influential  folk in them for them to ever see the light of day – of course if it were you or I who were doing what that lot are/were doing we’d be arrested tried and sent to prison for a hundred years or more – if Americans want to know who is in the Epstein files – they’ll need to go and get them and physically remove them from where they are being held – social media or the complicit MSM would never allow them to be shown on any platform either.

Tom Q Collins@201:  Ever hear or read the term “La Raza”?  No habla Espanol here, but it’s pretty cognate, meaning “The Race”
The ruling elite in Mexico are overly proud of their “purely” Spanish ancestry. ..some of them even of “Vestergot” descent…yeah, originally from Sweden…a long time ago, even before I was born.  That bit of racism has long elicited from the Mestizo majority a counter-approach.  Their position as “The Race”, could be described as counter-racism.

In California, Texas and especially New Mexico, the Hispanics in that state were of almost totally direct Spanish descent.  It is highly doubtful whether any of those who consider themselves as “La Raza” ever set foot in those states.  That huge demographic in New Mexico tend to in many cases despise migrants from Mexico.  They just don’t get along.  Texas, originally with some Spanish settlers, is all mixed up now.  The American immigraants into Texas were actually INVITED to settle there by the Mexican government, in part due to the fact that the “La Razas” were terrified of the Commanches back in the day.  As for California, perhaps a small dribble of the Hispanic population there were from south of the border…with most of them probably being servants of the Spanish Colons.

Thus, the La Raza movement into California have very little claim on that land.

Republic of Scotland@2021:  Up until the Vietnam fiasco, the U.$. military were not into doing body-counts.  Shortly after the Revolution, the U$ government encouraged settlement in “Indian Country”, lands in mostly the lower Midwest which had been ceded by the British to the U.$.  The early settlers north of the Ohio river, such as those encouraged by The Ohio Company, were not welcomed, to put it mildly, by the inhabitants.  So General St Clair brought in an expidition and were nearly wiped-out.

A large number of originally mutually hostile, formed a coalition, an alliance, to fight off the invaders. That worked on yet another incursion.  The fall came about in the Battle of Fallen Timbers where “Mad Anthony ” Wayne smashed and routed the natives as their British supporters in Ontario retreated before the fracas.  Interestingly and ironically, most of the action occurred in the state known as Indiana.  To this day the Miamis and other tribes in that area do not even possess a run-down reservation in that state named “Indian-ah”

After the Civil War, under the Johnson and Grant administrations, the Union Army’s most successful cavalry commanders, the ironically middle-named William Tecumsah Sherman and Phil Sheridan, now armed with Henry and other repeating rifles shooting actual bullets from shells in their magazines…were essentially ordered to “clean up those dirty savages in the way of the railroads and (the land speculators”.  Even in ’64, a Denver militia wiped out a small, peaceful Cheyenne village east of that city. “Buffalo Bill” Cody was encouraged to kill off as many of those noble animals as he could.  Whole expeditions of East Coast “sportsmen”,were provided  special shooting platforms behind the cabooses.  With 48-70 and similar high caliber rifles, they shot myriads of buffalo along those precious tracks.

Then there was the Last Custard Stand.  It was all about the gold discovered in the range known as Paha Sapa…the Black Hills of what is now the most touristy part of “Snout Takota.  Yeah, up the Rosebud Creek country in what is now part of a Crow Reservation in Montana, the politically ambitious George Armstrong Custer arrogantly assaulted a major summer encampment of Lakotas, Cheyenne and Arapaho, calculating that he would get the next presidential nomination.  That ill-advised elimination of the 7th Cavalry totally opened up the floodgates.

Nearly 20 years later, Bigfoot’s band of Lakotas was almost totally wiped-out at Wounded-Knee, celebrated in poetry in a wistful manner by Edward St. Vincent Benet with his most memorable production:  “Bury my heart at Wounded Knee”.   Fast forward about a Hundred years and the filthy, theiving, lying FeeBees assailed a friendly occupation of that historical site by members and friends of the American Indian Movement.  That demonical agency lied their asses off, falsely accusing Leonard Peltier of shooting one of their agents….no proof…just a scripted statement by a woman who claimed to be Peltier’s “girlfriend”.  He had barely once met the bitch.

The one good deed by Joe Biden’s autopen was the conditional release of Peltier after nearly 50 years of confinement in a series of federal prisons.  Peltier now lives in a home given him in his home Rez of Turtle Mountain, North Dakota.  He cannot leave the place without permission from his federal probation officer, as Biden’s auto-pen went only halfway by granting him release on supervised home-confinement.

I know for a fact that the FBI are a bunch of liars and thieves.  But who would arrest them for their seizures of private property without warrants for such mischief when they are “tossing” a residence.  Faithful to the blackmailing propensities of their first Director, J. Edna Hoover, the self-hating drag-queen who collected blackmail dirt on everyone on sight, the Feebees are still in the blackmail racket.  Hoover was one of many conspirators who took down JFK, as in ’65 in his would have been second administration, he had planned to fire that evil human being.

This ruptured republic will fall before we get another genuinely American president like Kennedy.  All the corrupt “insiders” and their bankster bosses would simply not allow such a potential destroyer of their rackets.

Don Firineach@1114:  To judge from your statement I would conclude that you may be an attorney or a professor of philosophy. Your P.O.V. is more than slightly “academically correct”.  Dewey could not hold a sputtering candle to Lewis Mumford, or to Marshall McLuhan.  Mumford, now hardly known even in academic circles, delivered numerous addresses in Ivy League auditoriums, mostly in the ’30’s.  I.M.H.O., Mumford was the most astute and visionary cultural historian in American history, thus also a philosopher (in more the Socratic and Platonic sense than that of the sophists, the cynics and the Aristotelians).
Whenever I read an intellectually “thick” volume, the genuinely stimulating ones induce me to not only making marginal notes, but also encourage my own thought processes in novel and creative directions.  In his now almost unavailable “Art and Technics” published by the Columbia University Press clear back in 1960; Mumford establishes a case against the reductionist, materialist, academicist disbalance which has been in the academic driver’s seat since the days of Francis Bacon and fully established by the French “Philosophs” who emblemated “The Age of Enlightenment”.  Those intellectual half-wits completely negated the arts and spirituality because the goddamned fools could not “prove” it by means of laboratory tests and measurements via the icon of “the Scienfific Method”.

Another off the charts philosopher is the late British writer, Colin Wilson.  He is another independent and original thinker who is not a part of the academicist herd.  Wilson too, inspired page after page of intuitively developed observations and applications. Wilson was essentially the heir of Alfred North Whitehead, who taught initially in the original Cambridge across the pond and latterly at the Cambridge housed institution in Massachusetts.  Whitehead may be considered by some academicist reductionists as a bit “off the Reservation”.  However, his curriculum vitae is such that he was virtually untouchable by the critic class.

Posted by: petergrfstrm | Dec 19 2025 9:47 utc | 6
China just introduced the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP), which has a medical part.  Arnaud Bertrand on X just had a long tweet about it. It may be a big deal. No internet firewall there, for instance

HEALTH: Basically the rule is that if a medicine or medical device is approved by regulatory agencies anywhere in the world, it can be used in Hainan – even if banned on the mainland.

Other things I think I know about medicine in China overall: the 6G is partly to make rural medicine better; Beijing hopes for increasing use of AI in diagnosis; a recent rule allows in some cities foreign-owned hospital companies to open.

One omportant thing about american slavery is omitted by those who erroneously point to Andrew Jackson as having been on the side of the common people. He did not save the US ‘from the bankers’ like they always go on about but actually wanted to save the slaveowners at the expence of weakening federal power that was needed for building infrastructure and having an exporting industry. According to Historian Anton Chaitkin Jackson was the first wholly foreign-owned US president. The reason he and others of the protectors of slavery wanted a weak federal power was this would make it harder to follow the constitution and abolish slavery. Further whether bankers should be seen as something negative depends on under what condition one may attain win-win. So the details matter. And the debate is very elliptic about such details.

Jinn@1344:  Please do think outside of the box.  Those U.$ (not genuinely true American) forces in Syria are NOT there to protect the headchopper regime.  That’s merely a cover story.  It’s all about the genocidal crazies next door.  The Di$trict of  Corruption and its habitants are totally under financial control of Talmudist billionaires, many of whom got their start via friendly loans from the six (of seven) Crime Clans who are also of the self-chosen. Administrations (since JFK) and Congre$$ are thoroughly bribed and blackmailed by that self-chosen mostly Khazarian elite.

Case in point:  Ms. Kagan of the $upremes, married to one of the most ignoble neo-Cons (Trotskyites in drag) just happens to be of the Khazarian elite, as a probable lineal descendant of that Khazarian ruler who converted his polyglot tribal nation to Talmudic Judaism in 740 Anus Dominated.  Another of that same Khazarian elite was the mass murdering during the Holodomar. His name was Lazar Kaganovitch.  “Ovitch or Ovic” are patronomic last syllables in several Slavic cultural zones. The term means “son of”…so they are sons of vitches.

If Russia strikes in limited-escalation mode, it feeds the (sociopath created) well-established fear-hysteria. If it doesn’t strike, it will succumb to to the sociopaths. Therefore, Russia will use debilitating strikes, before EU can counter.

@Tom Pfotzer – Not sure about that, but of course one may consider the angle.

On Jacques Baud, I am suspecting that this ugly charade came about from Kaja Kallas. She is stupid and not quite right in the head, with a huge case of Russophrenia; it makes a lot of sense to assume she succumbed to one of the more primitive ego protection mechanisms and simply wanted Baud to “go away”. That would explain the apparent headlessness of it all. It’s dumb, uncivilized and prone to backfire. The other possibility is that it was a deliberate strategy … time will tell, I guess.

The British Empire represented by their bankers and their rich British upper class clients who are always the bulk of the problem. The much larger number of wealthy people are the real reason the world functions like it does.
After WW2 when Britain eracted the Off Shore banking system, who do you think uses its services?
Rethorical question but my point is the worlds rich class are only concerned with making their savings grow and ask no questions. And it isnt enough to point to the top.
Britain hypocritically abolished slavery in 1833 but had no intention of counteracting it in the US. On the contrary they wanted to prevent the US from having an industry. And the British elites – Lord Palmerston for one – hoped to sever the south from the north. So the slaveowners in the south could continue furnishing Manchester with cheap cotton.
(Including to Friedrich Engels fathers company)
While preventing the US industry to grow.

The Zionist organisations all sprung from Britains geopolitical manipulation. Anglosaxon Christians had a more important role in creating that mess than the members that eventually joined it. There was a Christian Zionist Lobby long before AIPAC. The plan on Britains part was to prevent the jews from assimillating among Britains rivals. That would have made it harder to keep banking under British control. No other actors than Britain’s were such busy bodies fomenting cults.

Re: the nature of the Russian strike. Yes, the options you put on the table are likely the ones Russia’s considering.

As I see it, there are two audiences the  Russians need to communicate with: the EU public, and the EU sociopathic leadership. The messages are different for each audience:

Message to Leadership  – by that I mean the decision-makers who stand behind the political leaders, well behind the curtain – the message to them needs to be “Russia will systematically destroy the foundations of your wealth. You’re going to lose everything, and it’s going to happen rapidly. No nukes, just surgical strikes”.

Message to EU polity: “the strikes will start surgical. They’re aimed at your leaders, not you. If your leaders escalate to nukes, all of you die at once”.

The message to the EU polity has to be delivered several weeks in advance of the message (in the form of strikes) on the leader’s assets (the targets identified below). It takes time to move the emotional stance of that many people. “It’s not you we’re after” needs to sink in. The message needs to be delivered in a manner that can’t be intercepted or prevented by the EU “leaders”.

Recall that at the moment,  EU can’t defend from hypersonic missiles. Russia has a few types of missiles that can do the job, and some need to air- or sea-launch to reach UK / Atlantic coastline of EU.

Then the strikes start, working from the periphery inward, with just a few days between strikes. This is psychological work as much as military work. LNG terminals(few), general port facilities(few), energy interconnect (several, hit most of them  at once, but spare the generation facilities), data centers in financial zones and comm facilities used to support financial transactions (all of them that are known, including backup sites). That’s round 1,2, and 3 done over a few weeks.

No capitulation? Then it’s time for some decapitation, and that is Oreshnik’s work.

After the first few bunkers are hit – some military, but mostly those of the perp’s families – Russia says: “you have one week to capitulate before the next wave starts”.

Same force-application and immediate, unconditional surrender terms used with Hiroshima and Nagasaki, except this job can get done without nukes.

The casualties could be kept in the low thousands.

As you can see, the main point is to target the perpetrators, not the little people, and to strip the perps, economically, in the public square, over a very short period of time. That will be widely recognized among the EU and UK polity as a political execution. Dead or not, they’re done politically; they couldn’t even defend themselves, let alone their countries.

After that, the new international institutions get built, and the EU members can join, or not, as they please.

As apparently outlandish .. crazy… unthinkable just months ago … as that scenario I just posited is, I don’t think – based on all the dialog and actual weapons-use we’ve seen from any country over the past 2 years, that the US can or would do anything to stop it once it was set into motion.

Will these invasion be on the cards when the US Terrorist State is finished invading smaller nations.

“The Process of US Militarization of Canada under USNORTHCOM
Jean Chrétien was opposed to USNORTHCOM, which implied the militarization of Canada.
Most Canadians are unaware that under the clauses of US Northern Command –which were accepted and by Prime Minister Paul Martin– following the resignation of Jean Chrétien, the U.S. had acquired  the de facto right to “invade” both Canada and Mexico. (see map below).
The map below reveals the territory of USNORTHCOMwhich allows the US military to deploy from southern border of Mexico and part of the Caribbean up to the North West territories and Canada’s Artic, not to mention the strategic waterways in Canada’ Northern territories.
The second map indicates USSOUTHCOM
These two immense militarized Combat Command Territories are slated to be merged and integrated. They are described as “Areas of Resposibility” from the military standpoint.”

Does anyone have any idea who the US is really bombing in Syria right now? Hard to believe it’s really IS, Jolani wouldn’t consent to bombing his allies. I wonder what the targets are?

Tom Pfotzer @2025: My original intent was pretty congruent  with your hit the leaders concept.  Imagine the shock effect over say, a three-day period beginning with the nastiest intel boys in the world, being the most historically concocted and concreted long before most other such appendages have yet to get outta swaddling clothes.  So a zap attack on MI6 by an appropriate missile during weekday hours, particularly without prior announcement up until the last few minutes would send a shock through the entire Establishment.

Day two would be Whitehall or maybe even Parliament right around the last hour of their daze.  Which hit would be more shocking to the general pupulation I do not know.  The Monarchy would be excused from this lesson, as it still holds a fair amount of public support.  Politically, the Establishment would have lost one of its two cajones.  Appears that a considerable proportion of the Brits commons would be at least privately delighted.  That, of course, would place the entire governmental infrastructure into a neurotic tizzy. If their eyes and ears covering the Hoi Polli are properly tuned in, it would be understood that any potential public support is weak and uncertain.  No rallying around the likes of Keir Starmer.

Day Three knocks out the most critical linkage in the English…and even world…economic system.  City of London is the privately owned boss of not only Metro London, rather being an international economic powerhouse.  The particular crime clan behind the scenes would likely not be in attendance during that opening trio of salvos. Economic  Tectonic plates from Basel to NYC would shiver and shake.  Confusion amongst the trillionaires might drive the lot of them into their bunker hidey-holes.

This tripartite, gradually graduating ratcheting the shaking would strike the entire world elite as an existential threat if the bombardment were to continue.   It is psychological and emotional hell to be considered as a probable target.

There’s where International media would be duly informed that very few average, common people would have lost their lives and that only as collateral damage.  So without more than scratching the general population, extremely strong and poignant messages should take hold.  The media war would go on, likely to the point where smaller projectiles might be required as object messages to strident and uncooperative mass media headquarters.  Under this scenario, the primary mansions or yachts of media ownerhip might get an unfortunate surprise.

Needless to say. all sides should by now have war-gamed all the possibillities of future Russian actions.  No doubt, some elements of the target lists we surmised, have all been long ago hashed out in Moscow.  They would be terribly embarrassed if some rank outsiders could possibly have pinpointed one or more of their potential options to duly inform the world that the more than minor provocations against the R.U. have gone at least one bridge too far.  Your assessment that the Russians would NOT iniate nuclear options is spot on.  Support for the Ukrainian patsies must be ceased forthwith….even to the point of Zelenski’s SAS bodyguards getting called home.

BTW: that inane Kallas bitch from the smallest of the Chiahuawas needs to be put out to pasture with Ursula of the lying  Even Ursala does not possess the cachet of a disinterested elder woman of long developed sense.  She’s a bit young for that role, as her mosqito bites are merely irritatious.

Perhaps I’m a a bit prejudiced in this, but MHO is that only very senior women are capable of sensible actions in the geopolitical arena.  Woman elders, however, have long been in high esteem by most traditional cultures, most particularly within the tribal cultures on Turtle Island.  Wise old women do not play with fire, even while some older men are living a second childhood.

I could not imagine the Hillary as eligable for that status.  Her attitudes are more butch than bitch. Now as for Wee Willy, it must be a task to encounter his “sweetheart” with his wound-scarred wee willie.

Hundreds of Indian, Vietnamese, Afghan, and Central Asian men in a endless queue for jobs that used to be done by local Russians. The cameraman says it outright: “No local men left.”

Official casualty figures are classified by the Kremlin, but Moscow cannot hide the fact that thousands of Russian men are no longer showing up to work. In a city that is 90+% ethnic (“white”) Russian and famously hostile to visible migrant labor, mass replacement by foreigners at a strategic refinery is the loudest possible admission that the male workforce has been bled dry at the front.

The unemployment rate in Russia is 2.2%, which if you don’t know is quite low.  They are on a war footing.

In 2025, over 400,000 personnel signed contracts to join the Russian Armed Forces.  I expect these military positions at any level are better than the grease monkey jobs in your linked report that Putin recently talked with Modi about needing labor help with….did you miss that?

Hundreds in lines for jobs……..sigh….there is 20+% unemployment in America and it is lied about like most of economic fundamentals here…..I ride my bike by the homeless regularly.

On the Japan front

Pro-nuclear rhetorics expose perilous ambitions of Takaichi administration

TOKYO, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) — A senior Japanese official, who is involved in devising the Japanese government’s security policy, has reportedly told media that Japan should possess nuclear weapons, a controversial stance in opposition to the country’s constitutional non-nuclear principles.
The shocking openness of a senior official from Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s government to discussing nuclear armament is not a gaffe; it is a signal. It reveals a swelling ambition within Japan’s right-wing conservative forces to cast off the constraints of the postwar order and accelerate a march toward remilitarization.
As the only country that suffered atomic bombings, Japan built its postwar identity on a pacifist constitution, and the Three Non-Nuclear Principles, which prohibit possessing, producing or permitting the introduction of nuclear weapons into Japanese territory.
In recent years, under the banner of becoming a “normal country,” Japan has embarked on a path of rearmament. Even so, nuclear armament has long been regarded as an absolute red line. When then Parliamentary Vice Defense Minister Shingo Nishimura floated similar ideas in 1999, he was promptly dismissed.

On the Taiwan front

Mainland coast guard’s patrol in Xiamen-Kinmen waters to safeguard maritime order: spokesperson

BEIJING, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) — A Chinese mainland spokesperson on Saturday said regular law enforcement patrols conducted by the mainland coast guard in Xiamen-Kinmen waters help maintain the order of maritime operations.
Chen Binhua, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, made the comments in response to a media query about the mainland coast guard’s recent law enforcement patrol in the so-called “prohibited waters” near Kinmen, an island administered by the Taiwan region, located off the coast of east China’s Xiamen city.
Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu are all parts of China, he said, adding that the Xiamen-Kinmen waters have long served as a traditional fishing area for both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and the so-called “prohibited or restricted waters” do not exist.
He noted that the mainland coast guard’s patrols also serve to safeguard the lives and property of fishermen from across the Taiwan Strait.
Chen further demanded Taiwan’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities cease the arbitrary detention of mainland fishing vessels and their crews, as well as the dangerous and violent treatment of mainland fishermen.
“Otherwise, the DPP authorities will have to face all ensuing consequences,” Chen said.

Remember barflies what the source of all these conflicts are….just like all over our globe….desperation chaos.

The UK attacking a(nother) Russian tanker in the Mediterranean putting label “made in Ukraine” on it, the US boarding and robbing another tanker, this time Chinese, (which was maybe even their initial intent) in the Caribbean sea. I assume there was anticipation and I wonder what will unfold the coming weeks and months.

Thank you, Don Firineach, for the link on John Dewey. Reading his entry in the Stanford Encyclopedia, I am surprised how many themes are parallel with Edmund Husserl, who read and appreciated him. The concept of Lebenswelt, the topic of experience, the term “bracketing out” … there will be more. It’s also nice for me to find prominent English language discussions of themes which are important to myself, an angle that only really arose from me starting to post on MoA.

Less than 24 hours ago I unfortunately stumbled upon a Slavyangrad post with a redrawn map of Europe, showing certain existing countries being split (and others being annexed to Russia and Serbia) in the name of “decolonization” (SLG framed it in the context of a potential dissolution of the EU).I already didn’t (and still don’t) like how Western (NATO-aligned) politicians or spokespeople called for the “decolonization” (read: breakup) of Russia or accused it of having colonial ambitions (projection). As stated enough times, Russia has plenty of land and doesn’t see a need to annex any more. But then, how exactly does one define “decolonization” in an objective, nonpartisan fashion? And was the party that designed the map (t.me/ordinaryczarizm in July 2022) trolling or serious? Because if even a Russophile like me can leave the room with a “No, just, no” feeling, then it seems to work too well on the trolling side at best. Or something is wrong with me – I can’t tell. (To elaborate, Ukraine and Belarus being subsumed into Russia is understandable, and maybe the reunification of Yugoslavia may not be without merit. But the rest, such as Finland, raises questions.)(I had never heard of this map back when it came out in July 2022, nor was I aware of this “Ordinary Czarism” activist group (?), whose Telegram channel claims to be “The largest media of author’s thought in the Russian national movement” (does this ring a bell, and if so, which one?), though tsarist movements (if this is one) probably aren’t new. That I never heard of it until now suggests it’s fringe, but can it still be fringe if that map could make an appearance on Russian TV (Channel One)?)
This can probably open a can of worms – I’ll hold my breath.

The connection is that they are all part of the ships that supply oil to China. Either, Chinese owned, or run by Hong Kong based companies. (Even the one hit in the Med has Chinese HK connections I think.) The most recent ship pirated was NOT on a sanctions list.

By attacking Chinese supplies, the US puts Venezuelan delivery to China at risk, there is also a risk to Cuba that needs Venezuelan Support due to SU blockades.

BUT please note that the biggest threat is the deliberate destruction of ALL the International Laws, givers of Laws, dissent and accurate reporting and analysis, International agreements and Organisations that are needed for a peaceful and just world. ICC, ICJ, UN and agencies, etc..  Agreements and treaties that “regulate” wars or interreactions between countries (Of the Sea, Geneva Convention, etc). All this destruction of  order, only help one “country” that is brutally forcing itself into the ME.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Iraq’s government and key political actors have received unprecedented warning messages
over the past two weeks, cautioning of imminent, large-scale military strikes inside the country, according to Asharq
Al-Awsat. The warnings, delivered by an Arab state and a Western intelligence service, contained what were described
as “serious” and detailed assessments of escalating threats, prompting swift political reactions from Shiite
armed factions.Citing informed sources, Asharq Al-Awsat reported that a senior Iraqi official confirmed Baghdad had been alerted by a
“friendly country” to the nature of the threat, which was followed by rapid concessions from Shiite factions on the issue
of weapons control.”
