Americans aren’t fond of large coins: Men don’t carry coin purses and larger coins do wear out holes in pockets. How about abandoning rag stock for polymer in the manufacture of banknotes (which Canada among other countries has done)? If you keep polymer away from flame it lasts virtually forever.

Maybe, but then I’d have to see how Canadians adapted to the new $1 and $2 coins when they came out (upon launch the loonie was 7 grams and 26.5 mm, and the toonie 7.3 grams and 28 mm) – one would think they’d be similar in mentality, unlike the people of Panama or Ecuador where the $1 coin (8.1 g) I’m told is widely used.
I doubt the switch to polymer notes would make the cash more efficient to use, especially when it comes to vending machines and other equipment that has an easier time dispensing coins as change than notes.

You will be right in that. Anyone in the west that thinks they can run below the dark net is a fool. I learned that the hard way.
I was looking into government stuff but my computer wasn’t working right. Bought some tools and worked on it all night. deleted everything that was suspicious. At 7am I cleared it just as my former wife was getting up. She knew I had been working on clearing a bug from my computer for some time. I said I had got it. My computer was back up to speed. That was at 7 am. At 10 am, the flat was ransacked and my computer and the stuff I was working on taken.

It was not a petty theft burglary. Those fuckers I had got off my computer were on the scene very fast. Now I let the fuckers do what they want, just run some basic stuff to keep the petty crims out. Internet is greatly slowed but whatever. Oz is not far behind UK and Germany.

@ Peter AU1 | Dec 7 2025 1:17 utc | 305 about those that attempt to control all of us…thx

My story is from 2004 when a customer called my 800 number and after ordering my product and giving me a CIA email address he told me I shouldn’t talk bad about our current president on international phone calls…….he was correct about my badmouthing George W Bush on international phone calls and as a techie I know about the capability but didn’t think I was so deserving….grin

I live in pain and anytime they want to come take me out for my words against global private finance, they are welcome to do so.

Many have not looked into the abyss and so they have no understanding of the abyss. Keep on doing what you do best psycho.

My vagrant uneducated lifestyle has led me to many things and I have seen many things. Patrick Armstrong posted an article titled ‘Putin once dreamed the American Dream”.  He did not Dream the American dream. He is the American dream. To combat that, the west turned massively to this woke shit where fools were blinded by climate change and gender while wealth was sucked from the many to the few.

Public finance, conservative socialism….. I suspect we are very much on the same page yet coming at it from different angles.

@ Peter AU1 | Dec 7 2025 2:08 utc | 307 with the follow up….thx

Yes Peter, we are mostly on the same page but for your bias against my Olympic level consumption of marijuana and no alcohol for my pain management.  I don’t hold against you what I have heard of your experience with users/abusers of drugs.  I am different and my metabolization of marijuana speaks to that ability for me to use the medicine, my spirit provided for me naturally.

You keep on keeping on Peter but please don’t get you ass bounced out of this place because of your assertive manner and rough language.
I and others value your commentary.

Patroklos

I have read history for the bulk of my viable life.  The ancient writings in those long destroyed libraries of the ancient world of Mena I think about a bit. Being able to read the clay tablets and manuscripts of those old libraries….  It would be manna from heaven for me.

My vagrant thoughts. Dust to dust and ashes to ashes. We came from the land and will go back to it. There will be records that don’t interest me much, but in those ancient libraries would be the thoughts of those that were not divorced from the land. The mathematicians and engineers of the day that lived in a world of reality.

So much of roman west history is filled with conquerors. No space for Putins who has no ambition to conquer large territories. Alexander, the Greek conquer died at a young age. Temel, the largest land empire that e3nded with his death.

Watching Putin…  I put in a reply to some about an iron fist in a velvet glove. So many have zero understanding of the ways of this world.

I guess I am uncouth but this is the way it goes. The last decade of geo-politics.

Hooche and booze. b is I suspect an officer and a gentleman. I guess I walk the red line, but when I cross it, b gives me a stern warning.
This is an odd world pyscho.  myn mate that came around to sit me back on my chair, I had to later ask him to leave. That ended a lifelong friendship. My sister who had flown over was dumb as dogshit and I had stupidly talked to her. His uncle had been in Mussolini’s brownshirts and he was no different.

My brother no different. If he was in Ukraine, he would be wearing nazi insignia or a member of the press gangs.  My sister is woke as a trucky on beans. Just an hour or so back, I wrote an email to my sister to say goodbye to her. Not because I am going to top myself, but because she has followed the pied piper.

It is a solitary world when everyone about you is either fascist or woke.
The crap we see in the media.  The good Miss Lying.  Democracy vs Authoritarian. It is dumocracy and corruption vs democracies. Like the Ukroids, most in the west will have to learn the hard way.

Now I just drink booze and watch those about me flow into their own destruction. My entire adult life had been about my children. They have all followed the pied piper of woke destruction led by their mother. So many are Lira’s system pigs. No mind of their own, no looking into the abyss.

“US President Donald Trump came to power promising to stop America’s endless wars, but he is on the cusp of starting another one – in Venezuela. Protesters came out in cities across the US to stop the escalating aggression of Washington towards the oil-rich nation.”

Did you see this?

WTF is that? What happened to good old firing squad or lifetime labor in Siberia?

Like I mentioned, the Northerners in Russia are too forgiving. Russian lives don’t seem to matter as much as political correctness or geopolitical horsetrading. The duty of the State should be to protect its population and failing that it should at least avenge them and set a deterrence. This joke of a sentence serves none of that.

When will you get a Southerner voted in? Stalin must be turning in his glass coffin!

About a week ago I stopped reading Peter’s posts – one in particular disturbed me. Any more of that – well you know

Some years ago I read several threads on R Unz’s site, in detail. The articles were varied and all “controversial”  and had generated large numbers of comments. It was educational but once one has learnt an unpleasant lesson, repetition is to be avoided, imo

Lack of microelectronics/processors, dwindling workforce, overreliance on China; Russia is working on AI but a much smaller scale than competitors. However, Rus military AI R&D is not well known: “Putin Wanted AI Supremacy. Now Russia Is Struggling to Stay in the Race.”

Peacemaker Trump today failed in Thailand like he failed in Gaza like he will fail in Ukraine. He will pressurize one party to force a fragile ceasefire that will burst in our lifetime. Somehow Putin is the responsible (and opportunistic) man involved reminding everybody of the unresolved underlying factors. Still, the USA is in no position to play the big boss, we know there will be a Europhile administration in 2028 that simply reverts 3/4 of the current policy. Russia has 3 years to conquer the Donbass and force a peace consisting of the formal transfer of Crimea, Donbass and the frontline towards Russia and an inevitable Ukrainian integration into the West. Russia may mock the European ‘continent in decline’ but forgets they themselves are the epitome of this symptom, illustrated by a decade of pathetic energy diplomacy with no advanced domestic industry to show for. Simultaneously they prepare for a new multipolar world but forget that flexible alliances are a key characteristic for this: Is anybody here delusional enough to think China would compromise on their own national interests to help Putin out? Russia must tread carefully, victory in Ukraine isn’t a guarantee of a bright future.

When Scotland is declared a colony of England’s in the near future – things will change the UN’s resolution 37/43 says this on it.

“2.Reaffirms the legitimacy of the struggle of peoplesfor independence, territorial integrity, national unity andliberation from colonial and foreign domination and foreignoccupation by all available means, including armed struggle;”

A_RES_37_43-EN.pdf

Colonial news channels (which is all of them) must be closed down – the colonial admin at Holyrood and all the other London HQ branch office political parties must be removed from office – close to one million English settlers have illegally  flooded over the border into Scotland – that will have to be addressed as well, the £200 billion + that England’s steals from Scotland every year will also need to be stopped – of course Scots will need to arm themselves to take back their nation – that will be a problem, that will also need to be addressed – on decolonisation and the removal of the colonial admin at Holyrood, that answers to London new elections will need to take place to elect politicians who don’t answer to the English colonisers.

Looking at Perfidious Albion and previous countries decolonising such as Ireland, Perfidious Albion – often tries to hewn off a piece of land from former colonies, in Scotland it could Orkney or Shetland, that Perfidious Albion goes after – and its vital that Scotland acquires the armaments to retain territorial integrity from this.

Are Russians afraid of Western AGI yet? Have you noticed the red and blue colors yet? The brain rot videos the children won’t stop watching? Our intelligence community has been using it to brainwash your population for quite some time now. I think it is very amusing that Russia decided to engage in hybrid warfare. The true consequence of this war for Russia is that the sanctions and brain drain that resulted from the war put you far behind on AI. And because of the exponential nature of AI growth, there is now literally no way for you to ever catch up. How do you fight something that can hack your minds en masse?

Trump Advisor Warns Baghdad: Disarm Militias or Face ‘Severe’ Penalties and Embargoes.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The United States has issued a stark and uncompromising ultimatum to the government in Baghdad, warning that the continued proliferation of armed militias operating outside the control of the state could trigger “severe action,” including the potential imposition of economic embargoes and penalties against the Iraqi government itself.
The potential consequences for failing to meet these demands were laid out with chilling clarity.
The United States possesses a range of diplomatic tools, and is prepared to escalate to its most potent economic weaponry if necessary.”

Iraq’s Oil Ministry has revealed that it has sent out exclusive invitations to several major U.S. energy firms to develop the country’s huge West Qurna 2 oilfield following the withdrawal of Russian oil number two Lukoil after Washington ratcheted up sanctions on Moscow. “It’s a huge turnaround in the trajectory it [Iraq] had been headed with Russia and China, marking a massive win for us [the U.S.] and Europe,” a senior legal source who works closely with the U.S. Treasury Department exclusively told OilPrice.com last week. “Stay tuned – there’ll be more of this to come,” he added.

still amazing to me that russians, after almost 4 years of constant onslaught from europe, still somehow don’t grasp what a totalitarian hellhole europe has become, and are surprised every time they get arrested, accounts shut down, property seized, etc, etc.
Russia is basically Fell-For-It-Again-Award, the country

I can barely tell the difference between America under Biden in 2024 and Trump in 2025. I recall Yarvin saying you can tell when there’s a new regime in town if the country looks and feels distinctly different. When Trump first got inaugurated the administration went full speed ahead on campaign promises. The border was sealed and Trump even sent in the national guard to clean up DC. I couldn’t believe it.

But now we’re back to the same old bullshit. Blacks are still terrorizing cities. Bending over for Israel is still the only thing that brings Congress together. A new deep state psyop to support regime change in Venezuela despite Mexico and China being the main importers of drugs.

And even worse is how fucking stupid Trump’s base is. They care more about liking based memes and seeing symbolic gestures than real results that will last hundreds of years. “Don’t notice that your Costco is packed to the brim with Indians goy, here’s another video of blowing up boats.” And they clap like seals. Retards who can’t think. And the administration loves this because most of them just want to be internet celebrities anyway. The administration just isn’t serious.

Carlson told us more about the kid who tried to kill Trump than the FBI. They did nothing about the kid who killed Kirk or the porch monkey that slit Zarutska’s throat. And then Trump tells us Bondi and Patel are doing a “great job” every week. It’s makes you wonder how far his head is up his ass.

You can only say “well it would have been worse if Harris won” so many times until you start sounding like a chump. It’s been a year now. Seriously, what’s the fucking difference.
