“Hollywood” continues to play it’s role in supporting the Genocide in Gaza.
I have noticed that there are multiple film productions, series, about Oct 7th, presumably pushing Netanyahu’s desired view point.
In that vein, a new film has just arrived in theaters this week. The creators attempted for years to have the film produced;
that filming began six months after October 7th suggests a story in itself.
While it is not directly about Oct 7th , the film feeds and perpetuates the Victimhood mindset – a motivating factor for the Gaza Genocide.
Victimhood-Israel, Oct 7th and the Gaza-Genocide
are inextricably linked to each other. Israelis have ever seem themselves as the Supreme Victims and do so today, even as they perpetrate a genocide.
Psychologists will tell you the results and mindset of Victimhood; but, you do not
even need to consult psychologists, you can see the results of that mindset for yourself
in Israel’s IDF.
Adherents, psychologists will tell you, to Victimhood are “aggressive, revenge seeking and black-hearted
towards those that they perceive as adversaries”.

Ostensibly, Holocaust study and remembrance sought to raise compassion for
one another; teach that we are all brothers, that we are responsible for one another.
It sought to teach that we must realize that the majority of casualties in time of war
are almost always the civilians, and thus diplomacy should be the first,
second & third path chosen. Choosing warfare should be hard not easy,
not the knee jerk reaction that we see today.
Ostensibly, Holocaust study and remembrance sought high ideals.
But the human psyche does not always cooperate and follow our best laid plans.
There are over a hundred memorials and museums for The Holocaust worldwide.
There are days set aside worldwide for remembrance.
There must be dozens of Holocaust movies, or perhaps hundreds where
The Holocaust is referred to.
There are thousands of books about the Holocaust.
The number of articles and speeches cannot be imagined.
That there is such a vast heap, or hoard, smacks of narcissism.
And the human psyche observed and absorbed this collection and it understood Holocaust study and remembrance
not in the ways of our best intentions but instead it felt Victimhood. It
created an identity, an identity of Victimhood.
Adherents to Victimhood are “aggressive, revenge seeking and black-hearted
towards those they perceive as adversaries”.
You know this is true as you witness the actions of genocidal Israel and the IDF.
And even today “Hollywood” continues to do it’s part in empowering the sickness that is Victimhood.
A film released this week is titled, “Truth & Treason”.
Israel is losing the younger generation worldwide and Israel knows it.
So it is unsurprising that “Hollywood” would target the younger generation
with a film about a 16 year old German boy who is awakened to resistance during WWII when his Jewish
pal is arrested by the Gestapo and made to disappear. [disclosure: I have not viewed the full movie, but read articles about it]
It is important to “Hollywood” and it’s bankrollers that we all remember just who the Supreme Victims really are, even while those
Supreme Victims are committing genocide in Gaza. And “Hollywood” is playing a role in reminding us.

For the last 5 months, Israel has already been doing this kind of propaganda; they built a small camp area for the Abu Shabab gang & their families with a school & a mosque; a PR firm in Washington has been marketing propaganda videos of the Abu Shabab camp as a “futuristic vision of a de-radicalized Gaza” & as “proof” that Israel wasn’t committing genocide, since it wasn’t bombing the 300 people in the Abu Shabab camp (while flattening the rest of Gaza).
Israel will soon start bringing propagandists into the Abu Shabab camp with the message “See! We’re helping Gazans who wish to co-exist with us” (again, Israel is currently NOT allowing any Gazans into that Yellow line area, only gang members). They’ll use the Abu Shabab camp as a talking point as to why the rest of Gaza remains in ruins. “It’s because Hamas didn’t disarm yet.”
Even if Hamas agrees to disarm; disarmament is so vague & abstract that Israel can always claim there are still some militants with weapons somewhere (who’s gonna verify or debunk this? the US? Europe?). It’ll be like Lebanon where Israel just bombed a bunch of bulldozers & claimed it was a Hizbollah target.
Israel spent 24 months & close to a $100 billion to reduce Gaza to dust; they lost about 900 soldiers for this mission. Anyone who thinks Israel would allow Gaza to be rebuilt, even if Hamas disappears, is daydreaming!
The genocide showed us repeatedly how for Israel Hamas is the excuse, the scarecrow, while Gaza is the target. Even if Hamas is gone, they’ll find other excuses to keep Gazans between two choices; leave or live in a cage of rubble!

Like I bored of all of the Trump/Ukraine talk, I have bored of much of the online discourse about Palestine.
Most people are looking at both events separately and unseriously.
Trump is not going to stop the Ukraine conflict and he will not (cannot) rein in Bibi. Gaza is not a war. It is a Judeo-Christian extermination in the Holy Land.
Ceasefire bla blah blah. We’re riding this over the cliff. It cannot be reasoned or negotiated with.
All commentary otherwise is naive and/or delusional, IMO.

John, I am putting up the link you put up earlier on Vanessa Beeley’s interview on Syria. Viewers should listen to the talk in full. According to her, Russia’s role in Syria has been dubious to say the least. Further, she is firmly of the opinion that the it is the cozy relationship between Israel and Russia that has been the driving force behind their actions. According to her, Russia sought to undermine the role of Iran and Hezbollah in Syria, firstly as Israel wanted it, and secondly, as Russia saw them as competitors in Syria! She also mentions that Russia wants the thousands of Chechens in Jolani’s army to remain in Syria and not get back to Russia. Apparently the Chinese have a similar view regarding the Uighurs with Jolani!
This talk has been an eye opener for me. It has taught me that there is no ideological divide that will help the Global South against the Imperial powers. Russia is clearly not the USSR! What it will do next in any place in the world will only be for its self interest and not to help others.

Israel has announced it will stop all aid going into the Gaza Strip, claiming that Hamas violated the cease-fire by killing some of Israel’s paid collaborator gang members. Israel has also conducted 100 targeted bombings since this morning.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the army bombed around 100 targets in Gaza since Sunday morning, according to Al Jazeera.
The wave of air strikes on the besieged enclave comes after Israel alleged that Hamas breached the ceasefire agreement.
The armed wing of the Palestinian group, Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, has denied any knowledge of or connection to the alleged attack, which Israel said took place in an area under its control.

New reporting coming out suggests there was a conversation between US and Israeli officials before these air attacks began.
According to the news outlet Axios, Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, as well as Steve Witkoff, the special envoy for Gaza, reportedly told Israeli officials they could respond to alleged attacks by Hamas on Israeli soldiers.
