if Greta Thunberg was doing nothing for Gaza except posting, Piers Morgan and the rest of the Western media and political class would call her a performative whiner afraid to take any real action. If she engaged in violent protest, they would call her an evil terrorist. If she does non-violent action like the freedom and sumud flotillas, she’s an attention seeking narcissist.
In other words, they just want her and those with large platforms to shut up and let the genocidal starvation happen because they’re depraved genocidal Zionist scum propagandists and always have been.

Ceasefire Coordination or Occupation Support? US Deploys 200 Troops to Back Israeli Occupation Forces

In a move that solidifies its direct military role in the ongoing conflict, the United States announced Thursday it will deploy up to 200 troops to Palestine occupied territories to establish a task force supporting “stabilization efforts” following the Gaza ceasefire, while insisting no American soldiers will enter the strip itself.
The mission, which will operate under US Central Command (CENTCOM), is structured as a Civil-Military Coordination Center. According to senior US officials, its stated purpose is to facilitate the flow of humanitarian and security assistance into Gaza. However, the deployment will see American personnel working directly alongside Israeli occupation forces.
White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that the deployed personnel will monitor the ceasefire’s implementation from within the ’48 occupied territories, coordinating with other international forces. The joint center will also include representatives from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and potentially the United Arab Emirates, aiming for what officials called “regional and international synchronization.”

Will this force Occupied Palestine to stop the genocide? I do hope the Arab countries participate.

Ceasefire Settlement: Crushing Victory for the Resistance

Judging from the images of Palestinians celebrating the ceasefire, it seems that indeed the Resistance won a small victory this time, thanks to creepy Fatman having Obama envy.

The other factor is that the Jews of Israel have killed so far less than 5% of the Palentinians of Gaza, the smallest genocide ever, yet they lost bigly in terms of business and moral standing around the world, so it’s also the stupidest genocide ever.

They’ve killed less Palestinian women and children in 2 years than the Russians kill uniformed ukrop males in two months. These Jews of Israel are evil and dumb, as most fanatics are.

RE: Posted by: JB | Oct 9 2025 20:40 utc | 95RE: “Russia does for instance, that the root cause of the problems in the ME is that the Palestinian state has not been established as per the partition plan.” I believe this came recently from an article posted in RT: “LavrovPosted by: Trubind1 | Oct 10 2025 1:28 utc | 138
No, “Russia …that the root cause of the problems in the ME is that the Palestinian state has not been established as per the partition plan’ does not come from Lavrov’s interview to RT which I have not seen.

It is the consistent Russian position from the beginning. It has been stated over, and over again literally millions of times. Anyone who took an interest in the USSR/Russia position knows that, or at least they should. I know it by heart.

I am not mesmerised by Lavrov like a number of journalists constantly referred to here at MoA, as well as some commentators, not only at MoA. For them Lavrov is the giant among diplomats in history. For me definitely not, although, of course, it can not be denied that he is an outstanding career diplomat. As this is the Palestine thread it is not the proper place for me to list the arguments, with proper support, why I don’t have much respect for Lavrov, and why I think I have no illusions about Russian foreign policy.

That does not mean that I do not see or understand the positive role Russia is playing to the extent that it is. I used to consider Putin ‘a great statesman’, as I stated here years ago. Now, however, I would not use the word great. He has not changed, but some Russian policies, moves, the developments and definitively the genocide in Palestine have clearly exposed everyone for who and what they really are. Russia and Putin, too.

Unfortunately, no. Give it a few months (plus Israel bombing of civilians in which it is practically unopposed — rather than ground combat against skilled soldiers, at which it is evidently inferior) and the Zionist controlled mass-media will have spun an entirely different narrative.
Totally unreal, but very effective and backed by ever more censorial and totalitarian so-called “anti-semitism” prohibiting laws in Britain imposed by political whores such as Starmer and whoever pretends to lead the other Establishment political Parties.
Probably not much different in other countries as well.

Israel is still protecting the collaborators, the Shabab gang, who looted aid trucks while Israel watched over them to make sure they got away with the goods. Israel then blamed the looting on Hamas.

Palestinian collaborator with Israel and Wall Street Journal columnist Yasser Abu Shabab and his “Popular Forces” will stay in Gaza following the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, according to a report by Israel Hayom on 9 October.

The Hebrew news outlet noted that Abu Shabab’s militia is deployed in areas that will not be evacuated by the Israeli army in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, allowing the group to enjoy further Israeli protection, at least temporarily.

The Popular Forces established a base under Israeli guidance in the area east of the destroyed city of Rafah on the Gaza border with Egypt.

This area is far behind the “yellow line,” to which Israeli troops must withdraw, according to the map detailing US President Donald Trump’s ceasefire plan.

Abu Shabab’s men are also behind the “red line” of withdrawal, up to which an international force will allegedly be deployed. Areas occupied by the group in the destroyed cities of Beit Lahya and Beit Hanoun, and eastern Khan Yunis, are also behind the yellow line.

In early 2024, as Israel was imposing its starvation siege on Gaza, Israeli intelligence armed and funded Abu Shabab’s militia, tasking them with attacking and looting convoys carrying humanitarian aid into Gaza, including from the UN.

Israeli officials then blamed the attacks and chaos on Hamas, using the excuse to seize control of aid distribution in Gaza via the deadly Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

Abu Shabab was arrested by Hamas in 2015 and sentenced to 25 years in prison on charges of drug trafficking and theft.

He escaped in October 2023 after Israeli airstrikes hit the prison where he was being held. Leaders of Abu Shabab’s Tarabin clan publicly disowned him and have called for his killing for collaborating with Israel.

Hossam al-Astal, the Popular Forces commander in eastern Khan Yunis, claimed the group would remain in Gaza, while Hamas would be forced to leave.

“The Hamas dogs will not be happy, we exist and they are (the ones) leaving,” Astal claimed.

On the other hand, a security source in the Ministry of Interior in Gaza told Quds Press on Thursday that members of Abu Shabab’s militia fear being prosecuted after the genocide ends.

The source said members of the group have recently begun communicating with several families and tribal leaders, in hopes of opening indirect channels with the Ministry of Interior to resolve their legal and tribal status and ensure they are not subject to prosecution.

The source explained that this communication took place in secrecy, via intermediaries from local and tribal leaders, who relayed messages between the police leadership in Gaza and the militia members who wished to settle their status.

A specific mechanism was agreed upon for them to surrender and stand trial, while ensuring the confidentiality of the proceedings, the source added.

Sources also revealed to Quds Press that Abu Shabab’s group had helped Israeli forces arrest Dr. Marwan al-Hams, the director general of field hospitals, from a medical facility in Rafah about two months ago.

The sources said that additional information regarding the militia’s crimes would be revealed “in the coming days.”

My post was a response to cause or “root” of extremism and that was part of a quote by Lavrov.

I wasn’t addressing the issue of children. That was Lavrov’s theory. Since I disagreed with his “root”. of lack of Palestinian Statehood writ large, obviously it follows that I disagree with his children application as “root” cause.

The language of the first stage of the agreement is certainly subject to interpretation.
For instance:
“The IDF will not return to areas that have been withdrawn from, as long as Hamas fully implements the agreement.”
This is being interpreted as:
“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday said that Israeli forces will remain in Gaza to exert pressure on Hamas until the group disarms, Reuters news agency reported.”
It can be predicted that Hamas will never be fully disarmed. This “ceasefire” may well come to resemble that of Lebanon.

According to Israeli media, Germany is preparing to lift the arms embargo on Israel after the approval of the Gaza ceasefire.

Trump’s peace plan is a negotiated surrender that does not stop the slow motion genocide even for the remainder of the Palestinian people in the Strip, much less the West Bank. There are no provisions in sight for reconstruction funds, nor for plausibly human so-called peacekeepers. And it puts foreigners like Trump and Blair in charge, which is insane on the face of it. The fact that this doesn’t amaze and outrage people strikes me as proof discourse on Palestine is poisoned by the acceptance of Zionism as legitimate, rather than a slight mutation of colonialism.

If you have been paying attention, Israel is a colonial implant. Its one fundamental objective is to rid the land of the indigenous population. By ethnic cleansing, dispossession, oppression, segregation, organized famine and outright slaughter.

The last two years have been an overwhelming success on that front. I imagine they never expected to take the violence this far. But then, the Western world (and Gulf monarchies), both the enabler and potential obstacle to Israel’s genocidal enterprise, has been cooperative beyond expectations. So here we are, Israel’s regular lawn mowing has degenerated into this live-broadcast wholesale extermination.

Posted by: robin | Oct 10 2025 18:40 utc | 239

All the peace deal has done is move the genocide into “slow motion” for now. It also does little to slow the theft of land and resources and murder of Palestinian in the West bank.

Posted by: Menz | Oct 10 2025 19:15 utc | 240

@240 Robin

I agree with this whole post, but especially the “I imagine they never expected to take the violence this far.” sentence.

Allowing the violence to get as far out of hand as it has could very well be the mistake that will destroy it all. Palestine is losing, but it is hard to make the case that Israel is winning. The US has paid a HUGE price for the genocide, and the odds are that it has a lot more left to lose.

There is a decent chance that at the end of the day, the remaining Israelis will be be given a month to evacuate Israel and move to their new designated homeland. Cyprus? Western Ukraine? Montana? Who knows. And that there will be enough Palestinians alive to rebuild a new nation. China and Russia would most definitely provide what is needed to build Palestine quickly and effectively – China especially is the best when it comes to building new cities from nothing.

You seem to understand that the price of the “achievement” which Robin finds impressive has likely sown the seeds of the total eradication of Israel and Western colonialism.

So many think that one can make an omelet without breaking any eggs. All of those slaughtered innocents may be the price of ending the systematic evil of Western imperialism. But then, many of them are Muslims and know that death is not the end of everything.

A First-Step Ceasefire Deal: Victory or Defeat for Benjamin Netanyahu? – Elijah J. Magnier

….Yet the bond between them, forged in mutual opportunism, has turned uneasy. When Trump announced the first stage of the ceasefire deal, he added a phrase that landed like a thunderbolt in Jerusalem: “All parties will be treated fairly.” For the first time in years, an American president was implying parity — not privilege — between Israel and its adversaries. Netanyahu, who has built his career on the assumption that he can manipulate US decision-makers and that Washington’s support is unconditional, immediately understood the sting. The phrase was both an assertion of American unease and a rebuke to Israel’s impunity. It wounded Netanyahu’s political image and sent his government scrambling to limit the damage……

In any case, Amb. Freeman stated it’s not a “Peace Deal”, just a ceasefire & “hostage” exchange in his view.

As for the 200 US Forces, “trip wire” force, (?) or are they there to rescue loser IDF baby diaper army as the beginnings of “specialized guerrilla warfare forces (tunnels) “ so Bibi won’t lose anymore “lives that matter”…

Or Trump could be dead serious about taking Gaza for himself and tell Bibi to trot off…

UPDATE: This morning, Israeli police filed an indictment against Spanish flotilla activist Reyes Rigo Cervilla, with a request for pretrial detention. If granted, this means she will not be immediately released.

Rigo Cervilla is accused of assaulting a guard in Ketziot prison. She is currently the only one of 479 people detained with the first flotilla to have been singled out in this way.

Eyewitnesses told me that, after days of abuse, Rigo Cervilla, 56, was attacked by guards for defending another woman and advocating for everybody to be allowed mattresses to sleep on. Guards dragged her into a cell by her hair and then threw her in solitary confinement,

In videos from court, she can be heard begging for help and whispering that she is being threatened.

The six other activists (three Norwegians, two Moroccans and one Nigerian) still detained from the first flotilla are expected to be deported today or tomorrow, along with some of the 145 detained with the second flotilla. Israel has not indicated otherwise, and simply isn’t drawing attention to their continued detention.

At this stage, it is just Rigo Cervilla who is facing a longer detention.

https://x.com/CharlottEngland/status/1976627352110043631

It’s also worth noting that Israeli authorities have not stuck to their own story about Rigo Cervilla.

Initially, they claimed she ‘bit a female medical staff member … after the staff member escorted her back from a routine medical examination’.

Now they are charging her with assaulting a guard during an incident where she allegedly refused to enter her cell. (This is more consistent with what I have been told by witnesses.)

This is a farcical example of Israeli authorities – who are now well documented as having beaten and tortured flotilla participants, as well as having repeatedly failed to abide by their own laws – marking their own homework. Ketziot prison guards have made allegations about something that happened within their own facility to a court that is attached to it. They know they can change their story by the day, because they have total impunity. There is no one there to challenge them.

which involves the Middle East fallout effects resulting from Putin’s call to Netanyahu…

Posted by: John Gilberts | Oct 10 2025 21:39 utc | 243

Helmer’s conclusion seems to be that the fallout of Putin’s call to BB was nothing but disaster. Because the Arab summit in Moscow didn’t take place. Because the Arab leaders consequently no longer trust Putin.

All this from the fact that Putin called BB?

I’m not seeing the logic here. Yes, maybe it was a loss that the summit was scrapped. Or maybe not.

Maybe things Purin learned from the convo–and conveyed–to the Arab leaders caused them to ditch or delay the summit for strategic/ “diplomatic” reasons. Who knows?

My point is it seems Helmer is jumping to a conclusion a little too quickly here. At least, I don’t see his math.

do you believe the russian foreign ministry operates independently of the whole? i’ve suspected from the time primakov turned the plane around mid flight that the russians assembled on his arrival worked very closely, united, toward achieving the same goal: rescuing mother from empire & the 5th column within to deliver mother to her true destiny. imo, all work in agreement to achieve this goal. no one celebrity or genius but all dedicated with their eyes firmly fixed on the goal.

Think about what I said earlier about how most Muslims view death.

What would you do if you believed (correctly or not) that your physical end is not the end of your spirit/soul?

What would you be willing to say? What would you be willing to do?

What would motivate you to make some kind of difference before your body dies?

@247 Trubind1

What exists now is a ceasefire, Hamas say there are no secret clauses.

What is happening next week is the US president is scheduled to arrive. Various Arab countries and western nation foreign ministers are slated to meet to sign a peace deal, a truce of sorts. This is part talk part verified.

So it remains a mystery of sorts what is in the works. Hamas refuses to disarm or hand admin to western powers, talks of local admin.

Between now and then is a guess also.

The troops are toted and look like US taking “Israel” side, as monitors, vs ‘internation/Arab/UN’ proposition (which is of course also part arranged at least with US).

Tensions are kept high by talk of a ‘seperate event’ to occur in coming weeks…could be just gossip etc.

Putin’s phone call I make nothing of, for all I know they chat each evening.

In Gaza, 10,000 are declared missing now and so far. Casualties are steadily being pulled from the rubble, last 24hrs was well over a hundred.

Occupation troops have moved well beyond the ceasfire line, to avoid being targeted they say. Palestinians trying to cross the ceasefire line are said to be targeted.

The above is from various sources, I just note it down freehand.

So not much to say on my part, just a very strange feeling to all of this.

I agree. The Arab Summit timing of October 15, was most likely, with “Peace Deal” kerfukle and current tensions all around, simply an in opportune time.

The other factor, may have simply been too few replies/disinterest at this time. There has been a big shift with Trump and Biden. SA & UAE hated Biden, so we’re more agreeable with Russia. Now, since they live Trump/Kushner, are, IMO, rather cold shouldering Russia.
Putin has largely been fence sitting between Israel & Iran because of Arab/OPEC, BRICKS ect.
It’s the same reason he has guarded making statements about Gaza Genocide. It’s more about keeping all avenues open, and not “offending” the GCC. Which is excellent Statesmanship, and good for the nation of Russia.
For me on a personal level, I’ve little regard for that kind of “diplomacy”. But I don’t run a country.
As I understand it, it has been rescheduled for November 15(?). It’s all a fluid situation. If they (Arab Nations) go, then Trump/EU will shrill day and night, if they don’t, they miss business opportunities.

Agreed. All I know, is when I read this Phase 1 thing, there were only 6 actual committed days of a ceasefire. 3 now (72 hrs) for Hamas to gather the living, and 3 layer to gather the dead and release the prisoners.

And they 2nd 72 hours they could give a shit about (BiBi crew).
As for Qatar building a base here, the US is hemorrhaging for money/investment. Boeing is desperate and seriously verging bankruptcy with all their failed and corrupt business practices. The Base is a shell “laundry mat”… nothing more.
Usually when you build a base outside of your country, it’s because you actually have a military.
It’ll be the new “Government” shell laundry mat since Ukraine is kabbutz and can’t run the laundry mat out of there anymore.

@257 Trubind1

Either they have done a whole load of work behind the scenes prepping a further agreement, have strong armed the sides etc. …which is the kind of impression the talk and arranging suggest at, or are meant to suggest at…

Or it is all being pressured through, by setting the stage where parties then feel obliged…

Or it is just a best attempt at forcing a deal but really very ad hoc…

Or it is designed to fail and place blame for that…

Or it is a distraction for other…

Or…there are probably more…

What I am reading that rings true, is that to get all these different players into line to agree to something is very unlikely…

Meaning if there is any further agreement it is likely to be a botch of sorts that will present continuous difficulties and uncertainty. I suppose it is possible that might be set up for Palestinians to slowly regain Gaza and WestBank over say decades, as ‘a solution things getting corrected’ and reshuffle role of UN etc. …but I doubt that very much.

So I won’t even start to guess.

In the meantime:

Raids continue on Lebanon (just now).
Raids in west bank continue.
Fatah is playing compliant to US/”Israeli” organisation.
“Israeli” sponsored gangs in Gaza …they will be chased down but some are also vowing to confront/attack Hamas, say they are well supplied etc.

– Military and Security Affairs Platform

“With the start of the truce, the enemy’s security services, led by the Shin Bet and Military Intelligence, will embark on a broad and focused intelligence operation aimed at rebuilding the “target bank” for the Gaza Strip after the war.

This operation focuses on gathering detailed information about the resistance, including its field personnel, armament, command and control systems, and deployment methods.

To achieve this, the enemy will use multiple reconnaissance methods—air, sea, and land—along with technical penetrations and electronic eavesdropping on communications, devices, and social networks, as part of a coordinated effort to update its operational information in preparation for any emergency or renewed aggression.”

Balkees Jarrah, acting Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch, has welcomed the ceasefire announcement as offering hopes of “desperately needed relief” for Palestinians in Gaza, as well as Israeli captives and Palestinian detainees.

“However, Palestinians in Gaza will continue to suffer and die so long as Israel maintains its unlawful blockade of the Gaza Strip,” Jarrah said.

She added that governments also should not wait for the US plan to come into effect before taking action to prevent further violations of Palestinian rights in both Gaza and the West Bank. That includes imposing an arms embargo on Israel and targeted sanctions against Israeli officials.

“Governments should also seek justice for the atrocities committed with impunity over the past two years, including the Hamas-led war crimes and crimes against humanity on October 7 and thereafter and Israeli authorities’ war crimes, crimes against humanity, and acts of genocide in Gaza.”

My argument is that Israel has set out objectives. Colonial objectives of ethnic cleansing that it has carried out over the last 80 years. And over the last two years it has achieved much more than over the last 10 or 20 years, both in Gaza and the West Bank.

According to Israeli media, “1,972 Israeli officers and soldiers were killed, and 30,000 were wounded and Israel failed to defeat Hamas

no one believes these lies. Plenty of Israeli military describe IDF casualties as running ~10,000 per month. That run rate would equal around:
15,000 KIA
150,000 WIA
no wonder the IDF General Staff demanded a ceasefire pause.

Can you imagine anyone pausing an existential war on the basis of such moderate casualties?

This many people die in a weekend from tripping down a flight of stairs.

True, the official count is improbably low — but don’t discount their uniquely pronounced ability to whine.

I might answer a why question to my own son. But I’m certainly not going answer one from a paid Israeli shill.

<=what is needed is global zero tolerance for armed conflict.. and for supporting or preparing for armed conflict. Outlaw by International law war and support for or conduct of war or armed conflict. Propaganda, weapons development, weapons production, weapons sales and use of weapons by any organization or person are automatically deemed war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The minute an organization attempts to or engages in creating and distributing propaganda that supports armed conflict, invasion, colonialism or war, or the development of military weapons, military weapons production, military training, sale or inventorying of military weapons or members of the organization engage in armed conflict, use the leaders of that organization become guilty of crimes against humanity . This make it mandatory that such leaders should be removed by an international peace keeping force, using as much force as it takes to remove and incarcerate the leaders .. Armed conflicts don’t happen without industry, propaganda and conflict tolerant leaders and advisors. Today’s surveillance technology is good enough to give the notice needed to enforce such an international law. We don’t need international laws that outlaw the use of one type or weapon or another.. humanity needs enforceable international law that outlaws all the needs of military and all the uses of military and that makes criminals of all leaders who use, or permit the organizations they lead to resort to armed conflict.

Thanks for that link. Apart from anything else, it shows that the US was not run by Nazi Neocons during WW2, but that Forrestall ‘s murder was the start of a Zionist coup in the US, which has attacked commonsense and decency for 80 years, culminating in Oct7, the spinning of a small incursion into Israel into a justification for genocide.

Genocide
Domicide
Ecocide
Topocide…

…though destruction of society by undercutting local supply doesn’t have a word I think…econocide ?

Intelligence gathering is like a weapon, one that can be used without personal retribution or even awareness of its use. As the tendency of public authority is to make use of any advantage available over others, we can expect that weapon to be used in one form or another. As the tendency of private enterprise is to seek out any advantage over competitors, it will merge with public authority to own a market.

There you have government authority setting laws and adjusting society and law to suit a model owned by few, an ‘elite’.

As always, there is the question of which of the two controls the other, but it is simpler just to label it as a complicity.

Spying is an addiction caused by non-submisssion to Allah’s Will. Spying destroyed the Ottoman Empire. Spying is the work of Shaytan, tbe unseen.

I have been spied on for 20 years by the Pakistanis and Kurdish and I have become accustomed to their sinfulness in breaking the taboo of privacy in one’s own home in Islam, because I’m not doing anything wrong. The Ottomans created this culture in Islam of spying

What angers me is that when challenged about their spying , the Muslims put their lithping voices on, ‘ what me , bwuvver? I wespwect you too much’ . It is impossble to be a liar and a Muslim. They are destined for Jahannam for racism and lying .

Many Pakistani Muslims are equal or worse than Israelis for racism, which they learnt from the British Empire. These two diseases, lying and spying are the hallmarks of Empire. It is sufficient in Islam to repeat a lie about someone without checking the truth about it from that person , to be accounted by Allah as a liar and a hypocrite.

The Zionists want the Empire that has been prophecied for them in Islam.
What ?!?. You believe Islam enough to believe in your empire, but you think you can avoid the prophecy about your and its total destruction?

Speaking of Ansar Allah, they’ve been quiet since sinking a Dutch ship a week or so ago. Are they going to join in the ceasefire, or keep the blockade of the Red Sea going? There is a loose end nobody seems to be talking about.
