I don’t think people are realizing what’s happening with the Global Sumud Flotilla: it’s potentially becoming extremely consequential.
Fact is, at this stage the flotilla is effectively escorted by multiple warships from 3 major countries: Spain, Italy and Turkyie.
The warships are all nominally there to “assist” and “rescue” the flotilla in case shit happens – that’s the official story – BUT:
– They obviously have a very strong deterrence effect, so Israel will think twice before attacking
– I frankly cannot believe they wouldn’t act if the flotilla gets attacked as this would be a major PR disaster for the governments in questions: your own citizens (including some MPs) getting attacked by Israel in front of your eyes in international waters (or Palestine territorial waters) and you watch it happen from your warship? Hard to see this happen, this is politically suicidal for a government.
– Logically speaking, why send actual warships if you haven’t accepted the possibility there might be a confrontation? As the old military adage goes “don’t draw your sword unless you’re prepared to use it”: if it was purely about assistance and rescue, they could have sent coastguard boats for instance. The “rescue and assist” framing is probably about plausible deniability to retain the most flexibility in the actions they can take, and in narrative management.
I’m not sure what’s going to happen but as far as I can see there are 3 options:
1) Israel doesn’t attack, the flotilla reaches Gaza, which means the blockade is breached and which is a major precedent
2) Israel attacks and the warships of all 3 nations let it happen, which will create a major public opinion disaster
3) Israel attacks and the warships fight them, and you effectively have war between NATO countries and Israel
I think you’ll agree that whatever happens, it’s consequential no matter what. What I suspect is that the governments in question are betting on Israel blinking first but that they’re willing to follow through if Israel calls their bluff, they wouldn’t have deployed the warships otherwise.

Glad to see someone using his brains, but this is also -why- Israel will be outright enthusiastic about attacking at least one of the warships. Spain’s relationship with Israel is rapidly plummeting, they spend relatively small amounts of money on the Spanish military, NATO would -never- support an escalation, and the Netanyahu government is psychotic. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Israel overtly attack the Spanish naval presence to avenge the conversos, never mind discouraging future blockades.
Italy plans to withdraw the protection soon, and only an idiot would rely on Erdogan for anything.

I think you’re missing out on a 4th possibility.
4) Israel allows the flotilla to land in Gaza. The small flotilla boats have to dock somewhere, but the warships will stay at least a mile out from shore. Israeli forces then swarm in and arrest the flotilla members and rush them off to detention, confiscating their supplies and securing the ships.
Official excuse will be that this was an illegal border crossing. The flotilla didn’t come into Gaza or Israel through customs, and was illegally trespassing. Press will report the arrests and detention, but what can they do? If a Russian or Chinese “flotilla” arrived on U.S. shores, say along the California coast or Florida… offering “supplies” to U.S. organizations… the U.S. Military or Federal Law Enforcement have every right to arrest and detain them on the spot. If you want to offer supplies, then do it through legal channels, not by illegal border crossings or evading customs.

The aid operation is militarised, staffed by private US contractors and guarded by Israeli forces. Humanitarian organisations have boycotted the initiative while UN has described GHF as a “fig leaf” for Israeli war aims.
In internal modelling, BCG calculated that removing Palestinians from Gaza would be $23,000 cheaper per person than aiding them in place. One scenario projected 25 per cent of the population—roughly 500,000 people—would leave “voluntarily” under a $9,000 “relocation package”. Critics, however, say any plan to “incentivise” Palestinians to leave the besieged enclave amounts to forced transfer, prohibited under international law.
The Tony Blair Institute, while denying authorship of a postwar blueprint titled “The Great Trust,” has admitted that two of its staff members took part in planning calls and message groups discussing Gaza’s future. That plan includes proposals for artificial islands, special economic zones, and tech-sector development. While TBI denied endorsing population relocation, the inclusion of its staff in planning groups has raised alarms.
Phil Reilly, a former CIA officer now leading security for the GHF, reportedly pitched the project to Tony Blair in March. Though TBI claims, the former UK Prime Minister was “in listening mode”, it acknowledged that its staff reviewed the economic blueprint.
The entire scheme was prepared for presentation to figures in the administration of President Donald Trump and allied Gulf states. Trump previously advocated turning Gaza into the “Riviera of the Middle East” and removing its population.
Critics point to the lethal rollout of GHF’s food distribution in Gaza, which has resulted in hundreds of deaths, as proof of the operation’s militarised, coercive nature. Coupled with the economic modelling for forced transfer, it strengthens concerns that such projects are part of a broader strategy to depopulate Gaza permanently.

Gaza is ‘occupied territory’ and recognised as Palestine, not “Israel” , by a vast majority of countries. Apart from that though, given the hands off approach of ‘int. community’ , the difference is moot maybe.

Was reading around on the Beijing declaration. I have the impression that Hamas signature was cynical or rhetorical, given that it is claimed to recognise UN and not specifically “Israel”. This placed UN non-action into perspective, also knowing that return of refugees and secession of territory are not viable for “Israel”. The US (Miller) added that there was no guarantee of disarmament (i.e. against a continued future attempt to reclaim all of Palestine) .
One signatory renounced the agreement after, also.
So ‘I don’t know’, but I think it more realistic to look at Beijing declaration as making a necessary gesture to end the slaughter of civilians, while highlighting that “Israel” is out on UN mandate and therefore responsible before UN/world, that resistance is justified.
In practice I don’t think it is viable without overpowering “Israel”, which means overpowering US, at which point “little would remain of many past frameworks and understandings” around the world.
Just my consideration on that…but I don’t know.

The warships will prevent the Flotilla to get even near Gaza waters under the guise of protecting their own citicens from comitting suicide or citing international laws or something other tricks. Italia, Spain and Tyrkey are in on this with Israel.

Sadly there is a 4th much more likely scenario that I’m surprised you didn’t list. The flotilla is escorted by the warships up until it is just off shore and than it lands at shore where the IDF arrests roughly everyone and steals / destroys the aid. The Spanish or Italians aren’t going to send armed men to shore with the flotilla. Israel already threatened essentially to torture Greta in a “terror cell” after arresting her. I expect they will burn the food or steal it and than we won’t hear from anyone on the flotilla anymore, some may end up dead before making it to jail. Countries will ask for their citizens back, but their charges will be aiding Hamas, so they probably will just stay in jail. Israel has total impunity they’re not going to let these people interfere in their genocide, if they did many more boats would sail for Gaza.

The full claim or strategy is not hidden:

In short, Hamas recognises UN defensive resolutions regarding Palestine. It does not recognise “Israel”, even if it recognises UN which does.
It seems awkward, but then UN is not a final authority, and so like any person might agree or disagree with UN action/non-actions, positions or even construct, depending, Hamas also has its own approach or position.
Obviously “Israel” uses Hamas’ position to portray it as a threat etc. , but in reality that is a false approach because should Hamas be disolved, a similar political construct would emerge to take its place…because a large amount or large majority of Palestinians view fully reclaiming Palestine as right.
Anyway, it is not to argue, I just say my view or understanding of Hamas, and others will have their own interpretation of what Hamas’ meaning actually is.

Giyane, certainly from one point of view that may be a factor, but from my view what it does very much do is exhibit to the entire world both the evil intentions of Izzyhell and the acquiescence world wide to Izzyhell genocide. IMHO the standown of Italy and Spain, especially Italy, show the extent of the corruption. Let us remember that Italy was part of the dog pack ravening in Libya after B=Liar had accomplished his looting, allegedly joined by Goldman Sacks. I mentioned before… Israel chose the 4th option.
Now the flotilla boats will be relieved of any supplies and thoroughly searched. Documents, any fliers or newspapers or communications devices … anything that could possibly be of any value to the Palestinians in Gaza will be confiscated. Once the ships have been totally cleared, the flotilla crew will be ordered to turn the boats about and head back to where they came from with a warning. It will be made clear that any boats turning back toward Gaza will be seized and the crew arrested.
Of course, there will be a few boats that decide to confront the Israeli blockade again. Those crew will be arrested, boats towed to an Israeli port and the boats will be thoroughly searched (dismantled) for contraband items or weapons. Within a few days, the now boat-less crew will be placed on a plane and sent back home.
Israel must make a strong point about who controls all Israeli and Gazan territorial waters. They have no alternative.

- Stiff-lip all the way, the generals & admirals could certainly endure Sec Hegseth’s harangue about fat doughy overweight troops: the generals & admirals had already stiff-lipped their way through the political realities which had included the U.S.’s unwavering military support for Israel, starting especially after 7 October.
- Each of the generals & admirals might have sucked in their gut a bit as Sec Hegseth lambasted obesity in the armed forces, but the Secretary’s remarks were never going to be a deal-breaker as far as a tenure & career-path in the services was concerned for the assembled military brass.
- The generals & admirals who had sworn to uphold Geneva Convention regulations regarding international warfare when they first took up their commissions somehow had been able to stomach and normalize the genocide in Gaza since 7 October, and the U.S.’s military support for it, without surrendering their commissions in protest.
- Nothing Sec Hegseth could say about dudes in dresses or fat soldiers was going to take them out of their depth.

Remember that the US cannot solve anything and cannot impose anything on anyone. Its power exists only in our heads. The US cannot solve any of its huge problems, and it is led by people who are not even capable of understanding them.
All they can do is spectacles, shows and parades of nothingness. From Ukraine to Yemen to Iraq, whatever the US has tried to do, it has always invariably failed.
The US only succeeds where there is no resistance and even there it’s failing: it’s European partners were forced to recognize Palestine. Also, remember that Palestine survived 100 times worse for more than a century of international treachery.
Also, remember that any media circus is always short-lived. Real life will soon intervene, like it has over the past two years, which have consistently made Israel and America’s stance worse. There is no coming back from standing with mass baby murder. It is all bullshit. All of it. The US and Israel have nowhere to go and no ability to go anywhere. They are weak and useless media-controlling old, crumbling monsters in deep panic. They cannot fight anyone or any war seriously, and when they try, they will find out.
Palestine is not going anywhere, and Gaza is not going anywhere. We are winning. Don’t let them mess with your head because that’s the only thing they are still good at. Trump is a nobody, his words and actions have no weight, and Netanyahu is an evil demon without one real friend in this world.
So no confusion and no anxiety. Only more dedication and resolve to bring this win home and free Palestine and humanity from Zionism. Shout louder and work harder: victory is nearer than we imagine. Let no one make the mistake of thinking we can be put off course this easily. The pathetic fake plan will soon be forgotten. Including completely faked reports in Russian and English about what Putin has said in the past. It is always a shock to realise how far some people will go in order to push their garbage propaganda. If you see such a report without a linked website reference don’t believe it. It’s easy to put English into a Russian translation bot to get something that looks authentic.
