Re. Todd + French politics threads.

Wiki lists 7 ‘éléctions législatives partielles’ for 2025 (when a deputy needs to be replaced, the incumbent has quit, died …) Of the 6 past ones, Marine Le Pen’s party, le Rassemblement National, RN, garnered far less votes than in previous elections. One commentator spoke of ‘stunning collapse.’ Btw, Michel Barnier, ex PM, won one of them.

Not surprising! MLP used to be anti-EU, anti-Euro (adopting much of the analysis of Jacques Sapir, a F economist), anti-NATO, but is none of those any longer. The nominal head of the party, Jordan Bardella, with an accompanying clique, visited Israel in March 2025, going round the usual sites. (The rationale was something like ‘F is facing the same DANGERS as Isr’ -> Hamas / Muslim terrrrrorism – HALP!)

The platform of the RN when MLP was facing Macron pre his first term was a PDF, about 25 pages, long and detailed (and very similar to Mélenchon’s, other story.) Today, a 22 bullet point program is offered, provided one ignores pictures of Bardella, writings by him, news round-ups, appeals to donate, invites to click on *I join the opposition to Macron.*

1, 2, 3. Are focussed on stopping massive immigration (also by creating Referendum Rights to F citizens, how etc. is not specified.) ‘Eradicating Islamist ideology’, and to up ‘Security’ all over.

4, 5, 12. Reduce VAT (v. high in F) on energy products, and allow some salaries to rise (this is complicated but deals with tax.)

6. Re-nationalise the highway system, and privatise public MSM.

7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 17. Defend and help, young ppl, their projects, support F families (child allowance, build student housing, have 0% loans for this or that, etc.), guarantee a ‘serene and dignified’ retirement for old ppl, help widows / widowers, ensure that the handicapped finally have ‘all their rights.’ Launch an urgent plan to re-fin Health Services (hospitals, etc.) Support Agri for healthy food. ‘Restore’ the F educational system (e.g. augment teacher salaries and order a uniform for pupils) Housing is confused..(social housing, some, but landlords have to be defended..)

19, 20. Create a Sovereign fund for Innovation to boost F savings accounts. Up the Defense Budget to 55 billion. (What time span not detailed.)

21, 22. > create new ministries.

An over-the-top populist program, scripted for the broadest appeal possible (widows, drivers, teachers, farmers, 3 children families, handicapped, etc. etc.) While pandering to the PTB behind the scenes (ex. Defense Budget.)

Not *one* word about Foreign Policy, the EU, the Euro, NATO, war (Ukr, Isr, Sudan..), relations with Africa. Energy. The F Gvmt. debt (massive), other debt, banking. Plus a long varied list of concerns.. Adapting to drought, flooding, wild fires, changing Agri, Vax and the pandemic WHO treaty, and more…

The FI (Mélenchon) launched a ‘motion de destitution’ (similar to impeachment), it was blocked yesterday at the first step, the RN refused to vote for, abstained, which was guaranteed to scotch it. All of which was known in advance.

The RN did something similar previously, it voted against a ‘motion of censure’ of the Gvmt, but I don’t recall the details. Which is certainly the reason that Todd predicts (in an interview, not written) that Macron will eventually ally with the RN.

The IRS has always been a well-funded division of the federal government, and Collective Biden not only expanded it but actually militarized it, permitting IRS agents to carry guns—40,000 newly hired agents strong. Was this newly stood-up force designed to going after the oligarchs who might be hauling in countless billions in undetected income-? No: the intent was to go after small business Venmo citizens who were raking in, like $7000 per year, undeclared, or the occasional waiters & waitresses who were failing to report tip income of $3000 per year.

Joe deputized the IRS to scrutinize the tax returns of Bread & Circus normies, not the white-shoed elite, in other words.

When Collective Biden was in office, the MSM was such a booster of his policies that the newly weaponized IRS agents seemed the most respectable and unassailable of all federal employees, absolute angels w/ green eye shades and calculators. Immigration & Customs Enforcement agents were sidelined, perhaps accorded less respect, since the policies of Collective Biden tracked toward open borders: it is said that 10 million illegal aliens entered the U.S. between 2021 and 2024.

The federal government has the right to enforce deportation laws. Congress passed the laws, and if politicians oppose them they can seek to rescind the laws via the democratic system: by voting them down. Where Collective Biden, favoring Open Borders, preferred to slow walk enforcement of the deportation of illegal aliens, DJT, for whom immigration was & is a core issue, began authorizing ICE to fulfill its mission in all its parameters soon after his inauguration.

Nothing shifted from Joe’s admin to DJT’s regarding the legitimacy of ICE—-it’s simply that DJT privileged & emphasized their mission. But ICE agents, confirmed & codified under the same Congressional procedure as the IRS agents, are not free to pursue their federal aims because they are vilified as thugs and stormtroopers. In cities like Portland, Oregon and Chicago, ICE agents often need a security detail in order to do their job.

DJT sent nearly 5,000 National Guard members and Marines to Los Angeles, for instance, after protests broke out over ICE’s deportations. The National Guard and Marines protected ICE agents while they fulfilled their federal mandate. It’s inconceivable that IRS agents, for example, or other federal employees could be thwarted for long in their efforts to do their jobs by protesters without another element of the justice system stepping in to intervene. It’s inconceivable that a functional government, intent on prosecuting its laws as legitimized by Congress, would simply roll over and say, “Okay, we’ll quit pursuing our objectives” simply because protesters have amassed against them. The Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker is declaring portions of Chicago ICE-free zones, an exacerbating move: think if a state governor declared certain areas IRS-free zones. I think we know how that effort on the part of a state to subvert a federal law would fly.

A federal grand jury in Atlanta has charged two men with knowingly transmitting threats to injure a Department of Homeland Security and ICE deportation officer and his wife. “Federal agents deserve to perform their duties free of harassment or bodily harm,” said U.S. attorney Theodore Hertzberg. “Threatening law enforcement officers and their families is illegal. These are direct attacks on the safety and integrity of our justice system.”

Identifying the anarchic movement Antifa as central to the attacks on ICE agents, DJT has designated it a terrorist organization, elevating it to the status practically of ISIS-K within the U.S. He convened a summit on the topic on 8 October. Independent journalists including Nick Sortor, Cam Higby, Jonathan Choe, Andy Ngo, Katie Daviscourt, James Klug, Savanah Hernandez, Nick Shirley, Brandi Kruse and Julio Rojas joined him in the White House. Associate DoJ director Harmeet Dillon is tasked w/ mapping out strategies for tackling Antifa.

The independent journalists assembled for the summit moreover have documented Antifa doings over lengthy periods, some of them like Andy Ngo since 2019, so they come w/ a depth of experience: front row witnesses. They’re not members of the legacy who drop in for a quick live-feed, proclaim the protests peaceful and then vacate.

Silver Hits $50 for First Time Since Hunt Brothers’ 1980 Squeeze
Updated on October 9, 2025 at 3:02 PM GMT+2

Spot silver prices jumped to the highest level in decades as surging demand for safe-haven assets exacerbated supply constraints in the London bullion market.

The precious metal climbed as much as 4% past $50.85 an ounce on Thursday, the highest since a notorious squeeze orchestrated by the billionaire Hunt brothers in 1980.

Silver is extending a surge that has lifted prices more than 70% this year, beating gold’s record-breaking rally. It’s part of a growing search for haven assets sparked by fears of fiscal risks in the US, an overheating equities market and threats to the Federal Reserve’s independence.

Meanwhile, a shortage of freely available silver in the key London market has supported prices, while also pushing up the cost of borrowingthe metal sharply.

Yeah – I read online that gold has passed the $3,000 dollars an ounce mark – just think, if Fort Knox wasn’t empty – it would be worth a fortune, meanwhile the USA is illegally holding Afghanistan’s gold in New York, whilst Britain is doing the same to Venezuela holding it illegally in London.
The one time PM of Britain Gordon Brown sold off Britain’s gold – rather cheaply years ago, if it hadn’t been sold so cheaply it would’ve been worth an extra £35 billion quid on top now, well according to the media that is.

France has a fair bit of gold – but no gold mines – it stole most of its gold from Mali which has umpteen gold mines, but possesses no gold itself.

The American taxpayer continues to be bled dry.

The U.S. has spent an estimated $31 billion on Israel’s wars since October 2023 — including $9.6–12 billion on operations against Iran and Yemen. This excludes the $6 billion in additional equipment the Trump administration is seeking to approve. Figures are based on publicly available data.

No doubt the Orange Yankee Zionist POTUS will be desperately hoping he has a Nobel gong in his back pocket by then – the Nobel Foundation lost any credibility it had left years ago – so awarding the chief arms supplier to the Zionists who are committing genocide – whilst aiding and abetting them in it a Nobel Peace Prize – will just hammer the final nail into the Nobel coffin.

Don’t look for any party against the EU in the MSM in France , it’s a taboo for the MSM… they are very small, on the internet only , have like 2 elected officials … in Bruxelles and there is 8 of them to the last count.

LePen’s daughter (la Marine Nationale) renounced any anti-euro/EU rhetoric before debating with …. Macron in 2017 , mostly under media pressure to not “scare the boomers with savings in euros” (2017’s Nobel price of political bullshit BTW…) Anyway , she’s now yet another soft centrist.

The LePen familly in politics is quite a story , my preferred one would ever be the Original , not that I liked his political idea , but he was ever entertaining and said what he thinked without bothering about consequences , the Old school fascist , racist , misogynist and homophobic as we used to get.

The Orange sociopathic narcissist Trump is desperate to win the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize.

“US President Donald Trump is pressuring the Norwegian government and the Nobel Committee in an unprecedented push for the Nobel Peace Prize, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday. Experts reportedly remain skeptical that the campaign will succeed, however.
Trump has pointed to his recent Middle East peace plan as evidence that he deserves the award, claiming it marks the eighth conflict he has helped resolve since taking office in January. The US president has claimed he ended disputes involving Cambodia and Thailand, Kosovo and Serbia, Congo and Rwanda, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Pakistan and India. According to Norwegian officials, as cited by FT, Trump raised the issue in a call with Norwegian Finance Minister and former NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg.”

Even though the Nobel Foundation has lost its credibility – Francesca Albanese should win the prize.

Marine le Pen looks for a bit of payback – after being blocked for five years from holding public office.

“Veteran right-wing French politician Marine Le Pen has vowed to block any new government action, after President Emmanuel Macron promised to appoint a new prime minister within two days amid a deepening political crisis.
Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) is the largest single party in parliament. On Wednesday, she urged Macron to dissolve the National Assembly and call new elections, or step down himself.
”I vote against everything… This joke has gone on long enough,” the three-time presidential candidate said.
Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu resigned on Monday after criticism of his cabinet choices. With France’s debt at a record high and debate over the 2026 budget ongoing, Macron has asked him to remain in office as caretaker until midweek. On Wednesday evening, Macron said he would name a new premier within two days, a move aimed at avoiding the dissolution of parliament and forming a compromise coalition government capable of passing the budget.”

The Tehran Times reveals Germany’s military role in Israel’s 12-day aggression against Iran
New information obtained by the Tehran Times reveals that Germany’s support for Israel during the 12-day war extended beyond political and diplomatic statements. Berlin, in fact, played an active role in helping Israel achieve its war goals by deploying troops to the occupied territories.
A member of the Israeli army with knowledge of the matter has told Iranian intelligence that a group of German military forces was stationed in Israel at the request of the regime during the 12-day war. They participated in military operations, under an agreement that required Israel to keep Germany’s involvement a secret. The agreement was made in confidentiality between German and Israeli commanders, but it has been obtained by Iranians.

Many of us, however, have. And now we know for certain that the Germans can not be trusted.

The cuts in social welfare spending notwithstanding, the current administration is a massive deficit maker, due to the insanely high levels of military spending as well as the fact that regressive taxation, which falls disproportionately on the poor, disproportionately fails to bring in as much revenue. Additionally, private debt issued by banks is quite large, it’s called financialization. The result is asset bubbles. The AI bubble is acknowledged to be one. But so is the gold boom. Gold: what’s behind the boom? – Michael Roberts Blog

Where does all this end? First, it ends if the US dollar does not continue to fall – and actually since July, the dollar index against other currencies has stabilised at a level that is close to its historic average.

Second, it ends this time if the world economy goes into a slump. That would kill inflation and so boost the dollar. In slumps, the gold price can rise as an asset to hold (hoard) in crises, waiting for better times. But in its current boom, gold is increasingly driven by speculative demand. Such speculation will collapse in a slump and so will stock, bitcoin and gold prices.

The point about the relative levels of the dollar and other currencies is very relevant. Despite the daily optimism about how the fall of the dollar is automatically the fall of the empire, the dollar is like every other empire, it doesn’t so much fall as get replaced, by something else. (Roberts’ article does make the elementary historical error of forgetting that silver was the money metal for many countries and many periods of time.)

I would further add that a rise in hoarding, whether it’s purchases in Treasuries or gold, are not investments in the sense of making money: They are hedges to preserve money. A massive increase in hoarding in an economy reflects a dearth of profitable investments, i.e., the prospects of massive deflation and depression. The perception that gold is a hedge against massive inflation typically assumes that only state budget deficits can be inflationary (which has never been justified in a comprehensible way) and that hyperinflation can strike without defeat in war, either military or a financial war by a vastly superior power.

If one needs any other reason ZH as Zionist controlled-op , it ran a story today about Sen. Jeff Merkley (D) from Oregon that said disturbances around the ICE building in Portland have been staged to justify a Federal crackdown. (TRUE)

The story ZH wrote wants to make Merkley look like a kook or off his rocker.

It should be noted that Merkley has been a stalwart anti-Zionist in the senate (one of the few) and deserves praise, even bucking the more popular Wyden from Oregon at points.

We should take note of all these news- aggregate sites for reference for connecting the dots. They do reveal their Zionism eventually.

The ACP’s Eddie Liger has issued a video on the Candace Owens leaks re Charlie Kirk. Now I cannot see that there is any reason to suspect any conspiracy. The leaks purport to show that Kirk was in fact turning away from Israel and Liger’s video seems to make much of that. I must note that secret discussions and group chats in recent days don’t give any Israeli agents much time to prep an assassination. So this is intrinsically improbable regardless. And playing around by taking all this stuff seriously is merely opportunistic. I got an impression Liger was trying to paint Fuentes as a tool, pretending Fuentes must be a liar if for denying the existence of a group chat member he wasn’t a member of. That does not actually follow, Owens is not an unimpeachable source. Of course I didn’t listen to it all, being a waste of time.

But I wanted to highlight something here that should have stood out to a would-be leftist about the group chat. The real point is not that Kirk was thinking about turning away from supporting Israel, much less whether Owens is a reliably honest source. The real point is that Charlie Kirk was selling something that rich people wanted to pay two million dollars for, influence, and he was for sale. The fact he drew a line is not very important. What’s important, again, is, Charlie Kirk was selling to rich people. What he was selling of course was his audience, which seems to mean, some of you.

A Warning From a Zionist Oligarch: ‘Bullets, Guns & Bombs’

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cg5ej03p604o

“…Global security has been a recent focus for the JP Morgan boss, with his letter to shareholders earlier this year, warning the US would run out of missiles in seven days of a South China Sea war. Reflecting on how the world could combat risk factors, he pointed to greater military investment.

People talk about stockpiling things like crypto. I always say we should be stockpiling bullets, guns and bombs. The world’s a much more dangerous place, and I’d rather have safety than not…”

A member of the Israeli army with knowledge of the matter has told Iranian intelligence that a group of German military forces was stationed in Israel at the request of the regime during the 12-day war. They participated in military operations, under an agreement that required Israel to keep Germany’s involvement a secret.

There is precedent. I have a family member who had been stationed in Israel in the aftermath of the six day war. They went on missions too, and he even claims to have been injured during a mine clearing, which is possible – the injury is real.Israel is a colonial project in a strategic game, and the west has bet the bank on it. It’s the only explanation I have for the level of support we keep seeing from US, UK but also Germany and, possibly, France.

But ICE agents, confirmed & codified under the same Congressional procedure as the IRS agents, are not free to pursue their federal aims because they are vilified as thugs and stormtroopers. In cities like Portland, Oregon and Chicago, ICE agents often need a security detail in order to do their job

He missed out the bit where the Jews also had him crucified. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “Look at Christ himself. I mean, he was a Jewish teacher from the Galilee. He wasn’t a Palestinian teacher. He was a Jewish teacher with a Jewish name, Yeshua. It was the birth of Christianity, which came from Jewish teachers who moved to Christianity, but they were Jews, and they came from Jewish traditions.”

Serious biblical scholars, i.e. not those affiliated with any particular sect, have shown that biblical Jesus was a composite of various charismatics, teachers, psychics and seers from antiquity, mixed with folklore and mythology from other cultures and regions.

That the Jews murdered someone who exposed their crimes, money grubbing and other excesses is hardly news. It’s standard operating procedure.

If Jesus was a Jew (and not a Galilean) then why did the Pharisees need a Roman to Judge Jesus ? In Roman Palestine, every tribe was able to try its own tribal members.
Therefore, Jesus was not considered a Jew neither by the Romans nor by the Jews themselves

Most probable Jesus was the child of a Pharisean daughter (explaining his later connections to the temple) and a Roman occupation officer (which made him a Roman citizen, and Pilate had a say, and less than 40 beatings… ).

Journalist Savannah Hernandez has reported extensively on Antifa since 2020, especially in Portland, Oregon but in other venues too. She was reluctant to return to Portland in 2025, because she had been beat up there several times in the past, had her cameras smashed, etc., but in order to document how Antifa had surrounded the ICE headquarters in downtown Portland, she had to go back.

Per her testimony during the Antifa Summit @ the White House on 8 October, what she discovered is that in the Antifa dominated areas, which downtown certainly is, Portland has a police force in body only—that is to say, the officers are physically present but they appear pre-positioned merely to stand-down while Antifa reigns supreme. Occasionally they will arrest an anti-Antifa agitator as a means of protecting the agitator from Antifa’s wrath. It’s as if they have cleared the decks for Antifa.

The local government does not effectuate commonplace laws & municipal ordinances in those Antifa-dominant areas. For all intents & purposes, the local government has abandoned its citizens.

As for Jesus and the crucifixion, not much about the live of Jesus has been firmly established. However the ultimate jewish punishment for blasphemy was stoning. Crucifixion was a Roman punishment for rebellion. So Jesus was most probably a leader of a jewish resistance group against Roman occupation. And a proto-socialist at that, calling on his followers to renounce their possessions, and give them to the community of believers.

The Roman governor actually was prepared to release Jesus because lack of any clear crime, but the Jews wanted to kill him anyway. When the governor offered them two prisoners, Barabbas and Jesus, they demanded Barabbas to be released, because they wanted to kill Jesus. Barabbas was a murderer, a Roman soldier at that and an advocate of violence for freedom.

RE: it is said that 10 million illegal aliens entered the U.S. between 2021 and 2024

<<

During Joe’s first year in the White House, illegal immigrants were not merely swamping the U.S. border—Joe was flying them secretly into airports on specially chartered flights throughout the U.S. and landing them in the wee hours of the morning.

These were immigrants deemed inadmissible for border crossing via usual means—-so they were met @ target airports by NGOs which were facilitating the swift entrance to the interior, were given immigration interview dates far in the future and then sent on their merry way. No one knew who these immigrants were.

More than 200,000 people landed in 2021, according to data obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies through a Freedom of Information Act request. Between late October 2022 and mid-September 2023, Collective Biden approved a total of 221,456 Venezuelans, Haitians, Cubans and Nicaraguans for “travel mode: air.”

Soon after, Collective Biden added Hondurans, El Salvadorans and Guatemalans to the direct-flight program. The data on numbers of Colombian migrants aboard so-called “ghost flights” or Ukrainians is unknown, so the figures in total are likely even greater.

Once conservative and alt-media got wind of this direct-flight program, Collective Biden withheld the locations of the 43 interior U.S. ports of entry that were utilized for off ramping immigrants, claiming its release would hinder law-enforcement techniques or procedures (in other words, garner protests.)

The limited data that were released about the direct flights show that, of four nationalities, Haitians flew into US airports in the greatest numbers from January 2023 through mid-September 2023, a total of 76,582. These Haitians favored one redacted airport — some 47,768 flew into that airport. Among Venezuelans, 63,360 flew into 43 airports — but 39,474 of them into one preferred airport. Some 46,794 Cubans flew into 41 airports, yet the majority of them, 33,355, favored one in particular.

I know: it sounds like an unsolvable math story-problem. It’s likely that the preferred airport in all the above cases was Miami, but we won’t know for sure unless & until the unredacted information surfaces.

US justice department launches inquiry into First Brands
New York prosecutors’ probe into bankrupt company is at an early stage and described as a fact-finding mission

The probe is being led by the US attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York, the Manhattan unit that often handles large, complex white-collar cases, the people said.

‘Ahh Yess. The same office that buried the Epstein case.’

And crushed the 9/11 victims road to legal discovery with Alvin Hellerstein on the bench on the inside and Shiela Birnbaum working from without as ‘mediator.’

Interestingly, Nick Bryant, who has done excellent work on both the recent Epstein case and the now distant ‘Franklin Scandal’ – in one of the early videos I watched before he became the household name he is now, Bryant acted surprised that the Southern District ‘screwed up’ with the Epstein case and he said that they ususally do very good work for justice.

I was floored by that statement because anyone ‘in the know’ knows the Second District is where important cases against those in power go to quietly die and certainly an investigative muckraking journalist the likes of Nick Bryant ought to know.

Well, as far as I’m aware, Germany is currently occupied by the USA, with US military bases on its soil, the Chancellor Act, and CIA blackmail. There is debate as to whether the US is owned by Israel or England or the other way around, but one thing is clear: non-sovereign, non-independent Germany has no agency, and can’t so much as fart without the USA’s permission.
Moreover, the host B is German. How would he react to what you and that other guy said? Given the previous paragraph, would it be no less objectionable to say that the Anglo-Saxons can’t be trusted either?

According to Russian state-owned news agency Sputnik, Russia is looking forward to ‘developing the arctic’ – in fact, Vladimir Putin believes that:

“Now it is clear that Russia’s future lies in the Arctic — among other places and perhaps to an even greater extent — in the development of the Arctic, which we are actively beginning to pursue.”

So Russia is going to rape mother earth for more oil and minerals in the arctic and beyond (‘among other places’) and they would like to do so with the current king-queen of earth-rapers, the US.

This according to Kirill Dmitriev, who is both head of the Russian sovereign wealth fund and good friends with the Putin family. The Stanford-Harvard-Goldman Sachs trained and WEF Young Global Leader Dmitriev was appointed by Putin in 2011 to be CEO of the RDIF.

Kirill Dmitriev has been a private equity destructor his entire career.

The mandate of the RDIF is to:

https://archive.ph/jnKfa#selection-2189.5-2201.157

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirill_Dmitriev

‘Russia and the US can successfully cooperate in the Arctic,” Dmitriev said on X, commenting on an analysys in the Foreign Policy magazine, where the authors, in particular, suggested that the US policy aimed at further isolating Russia could potentially accelerate cooperation between Russia and China in the Arctic.

According to the publication, in order to protect the long-term influence of the United States in the region and combat the growing influence of China there, the administration of US President Donald Trump is more effective in pursuing a strategy of “selective cooperation” with Moscow.’

There is plenty of that …Anglo-Saxons, Whites, whatever nation, etc.

But yes, it seems a mistake or a definition lacking statement, because ‘the Germans’ can mean as a collective (i.e. state) or ‘the german people’.

‘That other guy’ would be persiflo ? Who would be German memory serves.

With germany and “Israel” and US and EU etc. … it is a realm of cognitive dissonance and I think many recognise that .

Germans are ok though, a bit misunderstood and so not giving the results others are accustomed to in own society, which is not anyone’s error really.

Anyway, I don’t imagine b needs ‘victim status’ applied …I think most Germans are much more savy of the intricacies of their position than those outside are.

Good to be polite though, no point offending others unnescessarily.,. I think it was just JB not being careful how he wrote.

As for distrust between people’s of different nations, it is standard. People are often friends, but when it comes to reliance there is usually a barrier of some kind…which usually just gets resolved on ‘nation basis’ when different nationals are involved, probably because that is just easiest.

Foreigners also get to criticise other nations where nationals feel inhibited to, sometimes this might be considered a service.

Please note: if DJT does indeed invoke the Insurrection Act, it will not be the first time such a thing has happened. Maybe we have indeed been on a sliding scale of establishing “a presidential dicktatorship” all along, but it is not as if this is uniquely a result of DJT 2.0.

My personal thought is that the sliding scale of presidential liberties, over time, from Bush-the shrub forward, has led us to this moment, where DJT actually has all the Constitution-congruent tools at his disposal to legitimately pursue his administration’s aims, especially concerning ICE and immigration.

The scaffolding for such measures was installed under Bush-the shrub and strengthened under Obama. There’s no going back.

What incentive would DJT have not to situate himself within this [by now] time-honored precedent-?

I gave up on Aurelien a while ago, he writes very well but its all superstructure and no political economic base. He makes the basic mistake of so many writers of assuming that the Professional Managerial Class are the rulers when in fact the are just courtiers of the bourgeois oligarchy. All philosophy and social commentary needs to be grounded in materialism and political economy, otherwise it just becomes clever people throwing around clever observations with no depth. He also uses an awful lot of words to say relatively little.

‘if DJT does indeed invoke the Insurrection Act, it will not be the first time such a thing has happened.’

It’s also not as bad as suspending Habeus Corpus which Obama sort-of set precedent for in the sneaky Obama way of not really doing it officially all the way but doing it nonetheless via the NDAA and, importantly for those Obama and Trump serve, setting precedent for more to come in the future.

This what Chris Hedges et al sued Obama for in 2012.

So Trump will get to the suspension of Habeus Corpus eventually. I’m sure they have someone working on it as we speak.

RE: the Insurrection Act would give Trump more legal tools to force Blue State governors and mayors to start enforcing the law and cooperating with federal law enforcement (FBI, ICE, etc.) instead of their futile resistance charades.

<<

It’s weird to imagine that isolated states can refuse to enforce federal law.

Regardless of the narrative spin given to such resistance, including in a media which supports globalist aims, it’s crazily nonsensical. States cannot simply freelance their ideas about what it means to be America. Congress sets the laws of this nation. That’s what legislative power is all about.

In the case right now regarding ICE in Portland or Chicago or Memphis or Los Angeles, the executive branch—as embodied by DJT, as the president—is merely following the laws as laid down by Congress.

A contrary media, hellbent on carrying water for an Open Borders mind-set and perhaps even an implosion-from-within concept of America, is boosting and fortifying the DJT-as dictator narrative as a means of staining & sullying his efforts to pursue immigration controls.

Those of you for whom this is not your first rodeo when noticing how the legacy media unifies starkly & staunchly against DJT and of course rthen eflexively deploys words like “authoritarian” and “dictator,” please note the similar tactic now.

The ones who are pushing this the hardest are the same ones who pushed Russiagate, J6, vaccine mandates, lawfare against DJT, debanking measures, censorship on old-Twitter, etc. A globalist element in particular has a steep investment in keeping the U.S. destabilized over issues like immigration.

In fact, there are those who would insinuate that a globalist element was instrumental, under Collective Biden, in implanting on U.S. shores a high number of immigrants in order to do just such a thing. There are those who would claim that Collective Biden was in fact aligned w/ such an effort. As DJT begins to unwind those gains, it’s no wonder there would be push back.

Consider this: if you left the U.S. in order to become a citizen of the Russian Federation, seeking a better life for your family, would you immediately begin engaging in anti-VVP rallies on Pushkin Square-? Would you churlishly try to grit it out with the Rosvgard on the pavers of Tsverskoye-? Or would you keep your head down and just take care of Body & Soul-?

Some of the people protesting ICE are no doubt normies. But the more strenuous long-lived among the opposition are not. The more strenuous and long-lived among the opposition are the ones who get funded, and they rely on the normies to provide the cover ornamentation for a compliant media.

Madam Guillotine was a top class cure for Elite Snobbery. Time for a Renewal of Common Sense.

Only Death cures the Dark Triad Pathologies currently ruling our planet.

I must note that secret discussions and group chats in recent days don’t give any Israeli agents much time to prep an assassination.

You make the mistake of seeing the tip of the iceberg, not realizing how much you don’t see. It seems likely that the Jewish organized crime elements that had long been funding the treasonous Charlie Kirk were keeping a close eye on their investment for a long time. And would have had contingency plans in place.

‘States cannot simply freelance their ideas about what it means to be America. Congress sets the laws of this nation. That’s what legislative power is all about.’

This is incorrect in both theory and in practical application i.e. how things really operate.

States can go their own way to certain degrees under the existing system and they certainly should go their own way if the federal law they are asked to abide by is in no way shape or form congruent with their own citizens’ values.

Each side of the coin has recent victories that are directly attributable to states going their own way. The right rid itself of roe v wade this way and the left has just about gotten marijuana federally accepted in this same manner:

By ‘freelancing’ their ideas – to use your language – into policy.

This is why ‘the founders’ didn’t want too strong a central government – ideas they got from the Haudenosaunee among other indigenous groups.

But they just couldn’t stray too far from their almight god-king, so an ultimately all-powerful president and executive branch had to be created and maintained.

Really, a true constitutional republic would just have a house of reps. No executive and it certainly shouldn’t dress lawyers up in silly costumes, appoint them for life and call them ‘supreme.’

*** This according to Kirill Dmitriev, who is both head of the Russian sovereign wealth fund and good friends with the Putin family.
‘co-invest alongside the world’s largest institutional investors, direct investment funds, sovereign wealth funds and leading companies.’ ***

That the likes of Dmitriev are still alive is a disgusting insult to the Russian public.
Putin of the WEF is an unreformed Atlanticist — who attained office via collaboration with, not opposition to, traitors — and has suspiciously friendly associations with the Khazarian cultists and other Zionists.
But by the time the continuously applied whitewash finally wears off Putin, it may be too late to save Russia (and with it, the rest of the world) from the constantly expanding globalist Oligarchic empire.

Yes, but not only “rich people” but to everyday people too he was “selling his wares”. The whole internet ecosystem operates this way …. loser know it all commentators selling the version of “sermon on the mount ” to other losers who cannot think for themselves nor act independently or cooperatively in coordinated political pro-social anti-elite psychopath action groups to change things for the better such as replacing both fake gop/dem tory/labour political institutions everywhere (or however they manifest as in the other countries-they are all the same “Mega Elite Group” of psychos)

Youtube Substack Twitter/X etc is full of them. It’s what the losers crave. Every day spent listening spinning wheels of verbal diarrhoea online imagining they are heroes ahead of the curve. And being paid for it. Or paying for it. Nah.

In Idiocracy, Joe proposes using water on crops to solve the problem of their lack of growth, despite Brondo’s claim that it has electrolytes and is what plants crave.

“”implement the law”

Pararanense@22:33

Selective though isn’t it? If this administration was interested in enforcing the law they would have listened to the victims of Maxwell and Epstein, many of whom were minor and prosecuted the clients

Complementing the Emanuel Todd thread, in better English Aurelien’s latest is a good read:The Cult Of Can’t.

It sure was and reflects my view of the state of the world better. The author is English and has a really good take on history, including that of the Afrikaners and the influence of the Netherlands Reformed Church on Dutch colonialism.

I like and appreciate that you present real things of importance to the hoi polloi here. Many forsaw the 2008 GFC thundering down the road for 2-3 years before it finally broke. The great reckoning is coming. Will make 2008 GFC look like a simple adjustment of asset values of little importance. This one is the granddaddy of them all.

It doesn’t matter when; just know it is coming and act according if at all possible. Most people, 90% have no room to act differently, they are already trapped. The top 10% are too greedy and pathological to see straight – the concentration of wealth negatively affects their psychology makeup where they lose all reason. Thye could act differently, but they won’t. They are the ones buying up all that Gold ….. and farms in New Zealand. Not going to help one bit.

I can’t wait to see them jumping off high rise buildings in New York and London. Good riddance I say.

Re Todd and Aurelien’s latest articles:

What happened to Corbyn’s Labour party and the 500,000 new members he brought in?

The Israel Lobby arm of the Elite. And good people, have to give up.
Social media makes it worse. It rewards the illusion of action — endless arguments against abstractions like “antisemitism”, “denialism”, “wokeism” or “Corbynism” instead of confronting real power. You can feel righteous from your chair, signal virtue to your peers, and never risk a thing. It’s politics as posture, not as change.
Left and Right now mirror each other — both defending a world where everyone clings to their scraps and lets the rest sink. The old parties of the common good have been hollowed out by donors and careerists.
Meanwhile we’re drowning in elite overproduction — endless think-tankers, consultants, academics, startup founders and “influencers,” all scrapping for attention, prestige, and public subsidies for their pet projects. They fight theatrically, but share a single goal: keeping the system that feeds them intact.
Meanwhile, wealth concentration accelerates: today 81 billionaires own more wealth than the bottom half of humanity. In the 1980s, the top 10% controlled ~25% of global wealth; today it’s closer to 40%.
Corbyn’s truth-telling, that Labour Party, directly threatened their dominance, hierarchy, and status.
