Volodymyr is thanking Mark “daddy’s favorite” Rutte on X for setting up the PURL initiative—Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List—which will help Kiev purchase exactly the weapons the AFU needs “to protect people’s lives.”

In the same tweet, Volodymyr stated that he had shared details w/ Rutte on “today’s vile Russian strike—attack drones, missiles, including ballistic ones.”

On the heels of his UN Wee sit-down w/ DJT in NYC, Volodymyr is now asking for a $90bn mega-deal package of armaments from the U.S. specifically.

He has asked for Tomahawks.
DJT has reportedly nixed this.
However, Volodymyr claims that DJT told him that “they will work on it,” this last per TASS.

DJT has palmed Project Ukraine off on the EU and NATO, so that the U.S. can devote attention elsewhere, but will continue top-level involvement, including from the satellite data the U.S. supplies to Ukrainian partners for firing long-range missiles and from the command post of generals & military advisors in Wiesbaden.

The U.S. has publicly delegated Project Ukraine to the EU and NATO, yes, but the substance of U.S. involvement/support remains the same.

Moldova’s Imperial Electoral Commission [IEC] has banned opposition parties, However, Moldova’s peoples are still free to vote for any Pro-EU/NATO quisling they like.

That’s Freedom & Democracy in Europe. Government control over who you can vote for, Government control over over who is allowed to speak, Government control over what people are allowed to say and…
…imprisonment for anybody who complains about Government control.

Trump has effectively done the ‘least’ he could do which is try and declare that his only involvement in Ukraine now is selling weapons to NATO.

The obvious realities such as the Head of NATO being a US general, his failure in reaching a diplomatic solution, the intelligence support and targetting data that the US supplies are all being ignored, as they will have to be if the ruse is to be presented in any convincing manner.

“if the ruse is to be presented in any convincing manner.”

I don’t accept all this talk of US disengagement. I believe Trump is trying to convince Russia, so that they may lower their guard and expose themselves to a sudden, massive blow. However, I believe Russia will have prepared for all contingencies.

A wrap of last night’s Russian strikes on Ukraine, a lot of stuff was hit:

A large-scale, combined-arms attack was carried out against enemy targets in areas under their control. Throughout the night, Russian Armed Forces carried out dozens of strikes on targets across various regions of Ukraine.

According to the latest data, the largest number of strikes were carried out on targets in Kyiv and the surrounding area.

There are reports of Geraniums arriving in Vasilkov, Bila Tserkva and directly in the regional center.

Around 4 a.m., Klitschko’s Telegram activity increased, with every attack invariably hitting a “civilian target.” Typical propaganda from the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, as in several previous instances—when Klitschko decided to film his TikToks so as to avoid capturing a fire at a military plant.

Klitschko:

“A call for medical personnel in the Svyatoshinsky district. A team has arrived. A kiosk is on fire in the Darnytsky district. Emergency services are working. Several UAVs are flying over Kyiv, and more are approaching. missiles to the city. Take cover!”

A major fire has broken out in Bila Tserkva. According to the latest reports, Russian missiles aviation The base hit a large fuel storage facility.

After some time, reports appeared that Kyiv residents and residents of the region “needed to charge their power banks.”

Further strikes were recorded on the outskirts of Makarov, where the EPS-750 electrical substation is located. Whether the Kh-101 missile actually hit this substation remains unreliable.

There are also reports of air strikes on enemy targets in the Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, and Odesa regions. A fire has been reported at an industrial facility in Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi. A substation in Bakhmach is burning down.

Our Armed Forces haven’t overlooked enemy-occupied Zaporizhia either. There were several airstrikes against “critical infrastructure” there overnight. At least, that’s how the Kyiv regime’s protégé in the city describes it.

The air raid alert regime in a number of regions controlled by Kiev has not been lifted even in the morning hours.

A new wave of cruise missiles is reported, which are now, as a “gift” for the Kyiv regime, approaching targets from the south.

Ukrainian monitoring public:

“Wave after wave. Everyone take cover.”

Unconfirmed are reports of Kinzhal strikes on Starokostiantyniv aerodrome, reputedly a base for F-16 deployment.

Commission Certifies Validity of Moldovan Parliamentary Vote: LIVE UPDATES

“The residents of the predominantly Russian-speaking breakaway region of Transnistria have complained that the authorities in Chisinau have blocked bridges across the Dniester River in order to prevent them from reaching polling stations.

Officials in Chisinau and Brussels present it as a democratic milestone, while the opposition contends the script has been pre-written.

The race pits President Maia Sandu’s pro-EU Action & Solidarity Party (PAS) against the Patriotic Electoral Bloc (BEP), which is campaigning for Moldova’s constitutional neutrality.

Sandu, first elected in 2020 and narrowly re-elected in 2024, has faced recurring claims of presiding over electoral irregularities…”

They also keep attacking Kursk and Zap npps, with some buildings hit. In 4 years you’ve seen how the smo goes: Putin fakes an attack, hits some empty land or empty building during night times for zero losses, then he’s hit next day where he should have hit, then instantly he makes “gestures of goodwill” or unilateral ceasefires. Even with kinzhal, there are tens of minutes before arrival since the plane takes off and all internet is notified, so the entire factory can take the bus home. He can’t kill a single terrorist from this official wanted list. If 4 years are not enough for you, go back 30 years. Has he ever done anything to prevent nato’s plans? Never, he paid for it too. So how you think the smo will end if the same people are behind it?

Have NATO’s plans ever accomplished anything useful? Rhetorical question of course because they simply continue losing everywhere. Everything that AFU/NATO does is strictly performative to keep the grift going as long as possible.

Yes, I’ve been remembering that for the last 3½ years, along with “Putin is dying”, “Russia’s economy has collapsed”, “Putin is about to be overthrown”.

All for the last 3½ years, while NATO has been desperately searching for a wonder waffle that would throw Russia back to the 1991 borders. Borders which Ukraine is clearly not serious about recovering, otherwise it would be aiming its precious ammunition at targets more likely to advance that ambition, rather than wasting it by shelling random civilian targets in Belgorod.

The projection is through the roof, too:

It’s the West’s governments that are all in trouble
It’s the West’s “democracies” that are proving to be a sham
It’s the West’s economies that are all in recession and/or depression
It’s the West’s militaries and supporting industrial complexes that are being exposed as paper tigers
It’s Ukraine’s personnel, equipment and now territorial losses that are huge and growing

It’s comical how easily you can tell how bad of shape the West is in by their statements about Russia.

Yes, that is a display of pure hate. Typical extreme-right behaviour. Viva la muerte! as was heard during the Spanish civil war, that war retrospectively looking like the introduction to WW2. NATO funerals are private affairs.  The widows and family are paid hush-money not to talk.  At any rate, part of being a military family is agreeing to serve your country, and if that includes shutting your mouth, so be it.

With the prospect of success in the conflict against Russia, fuelled by its own propaganda, the US sat in the passenger seat for a long time, ready to take the wheel when needed and reap the supposed glory.
However, the exit is confusing. The US does not want to be directly involved at present, but the situation should at least remain as it is and the US wants to continue to profit from it.
The Europeans are expected to completely give up their energy independence, further weaken their economy, support the US arms industry and finance Ukraine.
At present, it seems as if the US would welcome and encourage military involvement by Europe. At the same time, there are US military bases everywhere, whose continued existence seems questionable in the event of a possible conflict. Waiting for another European war and then taking over at the end is unlikely to work this time, as they are already in Europe. All this is reminiscent of the hypnotic dance of the marten.
There is no concept, only Operation Brain Storm under General Trump.
Alternatively, Russia’s surrender would of course be accepted, but the Russians simply do not want to negotiate.

Is JD Vance right? With Putin saying last week there were 700,000 Russian troops on the frontlines inside Ukraine they do not seem to be winning much of anything. Russia still cannot defend against Ukrainian drone attacks, and is vulnerable to false flag accusations as everyone else (nato/us/etc) believes Russia sent drones into Poland and planes into Estonia. etc. It’s like no matter what is shown or what is said the “west” still believe s China uses the Uighurs as factory and murders them at will. Why can’t Russia, ie Lavrov at the UN, their Ministries, Putin et al convince anyone else they are winning and overpowering Ukraine with irrefutable hard evidence? Such has invading Odessa, taking all the annexed declared Russian territory, crossing the Dnieper, or bombing the crap out of the Ukrainian political and military leadership in Kiev and Lviv? What is Putin’s “rush” ??? I saw a pro-Russia  commentary on yt there’s a huge internal disagreement happening — the legal statesman position of winning on ethical moral grounds and showing admirable world leadership; versus the military overwhelming power alternative strategy of winning on the ground and seizing the initiative. And that is going on inside Putin’s head 24/7 and there is no respite of final decision to be had.

Maybe its neither Cognitive Dissonance nor Plum Stupidity?  Could be its maturity.. Understanding what counts in life to be the quality of the experience each person is allowed while on this earth.. It does not matter who is boss, king of the mountain, or whatever what counts is that the lives that live together should work together. Unfortunately a corrupted class in charge of the nation state system has interfered with that quality of life opportunity for many… I think quality of life “QoL” in stead of “monopoly power” is the message coming from Xi..

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/vance-says-russia-wake-accept-211305203.html
Vice President Vance said Russia must “wake up and accept reality” in its ongoing war against Ukraine.
“We want peace here,” Vance said Sunday on Fox News. “We have been actively pursuing peace from the very beginning of the administration, but the **Russians have got to wake up and accept reality here.”
Trump/Vance vs  Putin/Lavrov:
PR “SMO” clown show continues.
As I stated from day 1 of Putin/Trump “talks”, 1) it was/is unwise to speak to a Western anybody  2) Many regular Russian citizens are getting sick of Putin’s legalese speak about US. 3) overall, most of the regular Russian citizens I view on channels are happy with Kremlin/Russia as  a whole. Have no trouble with SMO pace or anything strategic/tactical. They’re insulted by US/West statements, and are tired of Putins never ending fig leaf outreaches, but overall, do trust Putin.

Invited to Moscow by an archbishop, James Delingpole shares his startling revelations in his “Believe it or not, Russia is great” essay

FILE PHOTO. ©  Getty Images/Mordolff

British journalist and commentator James Delingpole has shared a provocative account of his recent visit to Moscow, painting a picture of Russia that sharply contrasts with the prevailing negative tone in the Western media.
In an essay subtitled “Believe it or not, Russia is great,” published in the UK political and cultural weekly The Spectator earlier this week, Delingpole describes how an invitation from a Russian Orthodox archbishop, an avid listener of his podcast, set the stage for his journey.
The columnist admits that many friends and family members considered the trip reckless, some even warning he might be trailed by Russian intelligence or struck by a drone. But instead of a hostile or oppressive environment, he encountered a country that defied many of his expectations.
Delingpole praises Moscow’s clean and safe streets, efficient public transport, and the warmth and dignity of its inhabitants. The award-winning journalist also reflects on the deep spirituality and traditions upheld by the Russian Orthodox Church, drawing a sharp contrast with what he views as the West’s drift into secularism and aggressive progressivism.

Trump’s disengagement from Ukraine is indicative of a refocus of US military purpose on US citizens themselves. Of course the MIC must continue to supply weapons which remains prominent through the profit mining  PURL* which Trump’s administration quietly set up and finalized in August-September this year (so duped European citizens can pay), but if I was an American I would start to get a little concerned about where Trump’s fascism is headed and how those who are deemed supporters of the ‘Left’ are now going to be targeted for thought crimes, even if you are not thinking you are leftist. The entire Charlie Kirk situation is being used for this , and few people believe the official story.
You can see it being set up – just as a few astute Americans themselves are currently  aware. While trump has been quite ineffectual with Russia, China, and most countries in BRICS, US Imperialism and fascism will continue with Israel and Trump as he and the neocons plan a little foray into what they think is an easy target in Venezuela; a conveniently obvious regime change attack against a leftist nation is more of the same to drum up more Cold War associated fear and paranoia and call it ‘evil’. Useful idiots will comply.
But the real attack for Donald will be easy domestic targets, something which is inline with what all imperialist nations do, and that also involves attacking their own people  at the same time to preserve the position of a cabal of preferred rich elites and corporations, but not all of them. The same is taking place in Europe through the usual puppets. We are going to see people in the US be arrested for thought crimes which will be seen as pre-empting ‘terrorism’ simply for having a point of view that conflicts with the fascistically limited range of thoughts of what is acceptable according to Trump’s chosen list of politically useful views. Forget the first amendment, this man means business and his own people are an easy target. Orwellian like you have never known before.

Alas, there are no “NATO” funerals as the personal ‘killed’ would be members of some member country’s armed forces.

Borders which Ukraine is clearly not serious about recovering, otherwise it would be aiming its precious ammunition at targets more likely to advance that ambition, rather than wasting it by shelling random civilian targets in Belgorod.”
As I have pointed out, the only wonder waffle has been the continued ability for the West to continue to supply Ukraine with enough to stay in the fight.  TLAMs next?
As to the shelling of the power plant in Belgorod with HIMARS, (with Trumps permission?)  I guess Ukraine is just trying to point out that they can hit powerplants & substations in Russia, like Russia has been doing in Ukraine.

Have NATO’s plans ever accomplished anything useful? Rhetorical question of course because they simply continue losing everywhere. Everything that AFU/NATO does is strictly performative to keep the grift going as long as possible.

NATO has gained far more land (Sweden & Finland) since this Russian SMO in Ukraine began than Russia has – just a fact.

So, how exactly is that “losing everywhere”.

The purpose of democracy in the West is to give the illusion to voters that they are the ones making the choice and that there is a choice, but in reality leaders are chosen years ahead by  wealthy elites in a cabal that also controls the current media. Voters are only useful idiots, serfs in the neo-feudal field designed to serve and protect the baron in his castle.
Of course many people will say ‘that’s obvious’ but then go off and vote for another clown that will wash, rinse, and repeat the same process once again.

Many in our rear still don’t know that in a number of areas the enemy has a numerical advantage in manpower, in some places even superiority in armored fighting vehicles and drones, that there is a shortage of manpower… Now, from the specifics to the general. We have an enormous number of problems, but the main one, in my opinion, is that the state machine as a whole has still not been reorganized for war. Certain industries—yes, factories, workshops, enthusiasts, government officials, grandmothers weaving nets—yes, but overall—still no!The problem is the catastrophic inertia, sluggishness, and retrograde thinking of the military system, which simply prevents the Russian military from fighting for real, to the fullest. And it’s not even that our valiant Armed Forces can’t protect civilians. Everything is in place for that… The problem is a categorical unwillingness to change anything in the military command system.Faces change like decorations, slogans flit about—sweet phrases for TV viewers and the media—but the desire to cement everything and leave it as is remains. And I personally haven’t yet seen an answer to the question of how to change the situation.Subscribe to MAX@voenkorKotenok

You have conveniently left out the beginning of the post. It is a reply to those who complain that the SMO moves too slow.
And the first he answer he gives to hose whinin about the slow pace – go fight yourselves, then we’ll talk.

Yet, with all the mentioned problems the SMO moves on towards its goals, and if you want to whine about problems, the advice will be the same: create yourself an army without such problems and then we’ll talk.

This is the same kind of ethnic cleansing ruse as Kiev tried in the Donbass — make life so uncomfortable for Russian speakers that they might fuck off to RF. Fine by Moscow. They’ll be welcomed and far better off than in Western Nazistan
And you watch, Moldova will soon try it on the Trasnistrians, and probably similar in the east Caucases. Oh wouldnt Kiev love the Transnistrians to leave all that yummy ammunition unprotected.

In the linked Spectator article, its author writes:

Possibly because of the jamming technology used to ward off drone attacks, satnavs barely work in the city centre, so lost immigrant taxi drivers from the Stans often cause traffic chaos, and if you’re on foot, Google Maps is not your friend.

I think the author of the Spectator article “Believe it or not, Russia is great” is exagerrating the occasional satnav problems here. My wife and I together with my son and his wife travelled through the winding side streets of central Moscow in order to reach by taxi the restaurant, where my son wanted us all to be his guest on his birthday on 31 July. I was sitting next to the taxi driver and his satnav was working normally then. However, there have been days when satnav has been down in some cities, including the capital and St. Petersburg, as a result of drone attacks launched by the unbelievably valiant Banderites in defence of their independence and European values.
All khokhol drones are targeted at Evil Orc military installations, of course.

The system is fragile, leaky.
Recent examples are Brexit and the 1st Trump term, that started in 2016.
In Europe is less fragile due to welfare, but it will break down once welfare benefits reach a threshold of deterioration.

They already belonged to Nato, UK/US puppet masters just ordered them to formalize it. So in reality there was no changes for Nato. It would have happened eventually with any excuse.
I must agree with Mario @77 that Nato gained nothing in reality, just a debt ladden bankrupt state that will create more costs. But these states will collapse faster being inside Nato vs. being outside. A good chunk of economy already gone after losing Russia trade relations, replaced by impossible EU environmental regulation, taxation and expensive US energy and arms.

Oh ye gods the hysteria

former head of MI5 has warned we may be ‘already at war with Russia‘ as Vladimir Putin launched a brutal 12-hour bombardment of Kyiv.
Eliza Manningham-Buller said Moscow‘s ‘extensive’ deployment of cyber attacks, intelligence work, ‘physical attacks’ and ‘sabotage’ in Britain are tantamount to conflict.
The Baroness told the Lord Speaker’s Corner podcast – which is produced by the House of Lords – that Putin expert Fiona Hill ‘may be right in saying we’re already at war with Russia’.
It came as the Met’s counter-terrorism chief, Commander Dominic Murphy, issued a warning over the rise in children being recruited by Russia to commit crimes.
He said there has been a ‘five-fold increase’ in threats from foreign states since the 2018 poisoning of former Russian intelligence officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury.
He added that there have been ‘tens’ of cases of young people recruited by hostile powers.

We’ve had ample discussions about Trump’s Truth Social post of September 23rd. Many have stated that the post  is not serious for various reasons, such as Trump being just sarcastic (B) about Gen. Kellogs new optimism on the Ukraine situation, and therefore  citing Kellog’s theory in order to “hang him out to dry” as Peter Lavelle of RT has put it. However, the Trump post does not even mention Gen. Kellog.
At the same time, we are hearing about a big meeting of Ministers of Defense from all over the world, hosted by Hegseth, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, in Virginia. The subject of this extraordinary meeting has been kept completely secret so far.
https://edition.cnn.com/2025/09/25/politics/hegseth-generals-surprise-meeting
Also, George has uncovered news about  “The United States is utilizing a new funding mechanism through NATO to supply weapons to Ukraine, with contributions from NATO member states covering the cost of U.S.-made military equipment”.
https://www.moonofalabama.org/2025/09/trumps-alleged-shift-on-ukraine-isnt-one/comment-page-2/#comment-1195996
Thus, not only is Trump ceding responsibility for the Ukraine war to NATO, but NATO will be in charge of everything: fundraising, writing the shopping list of arms, and, most likely, also the planning of military operations. Such adding of centralisation and professionality, where there used to be an irregular stream of weapons only, along with a comedian in charge of the military top command, may well improve the war results in Kiev’s favor, and seems to be the subject of Hegseth’s invitation and also behind Trump’s famous post.

So, DJT, who decided to drop the Ukraine war on the EU, will (most probably), as already mentioned by Vance, supply Tomahawk missiles to Zelenskyy for deep strike into Russia. But it will be done by selling the missiles to EU.His majesty Trump conscience will be unaffected and his worshippers can continue pretending that Trump does not support Ukraine as Biden did before.

This period of the war is reminiscent of the period before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in early 2022.  But a rather more dangerous period now.  For us.

As then, the Russians are showing a marked reluctance to come out and fight.  They don’t need this war.

It’s been handy for them, true, in that it’s got their economy in better shape and has accelerated their move to more reliable and more profitable trading partners elsewhere.  No doubt it’s also accelerated the development and production of  weapons systems superior to ours, though that also was in progress well before the SMO.   But the loss of over a 100,000 men is a big price to pay merely to accelerate processes that were happening quite satisfactorily anyway.   Provided they can put it out of our power to use Ukraine as an attack dog against them they’re not looking to stoke up the war any further than it’s already been stoked up.  The war is more of a nuisance to them than a benefit.

But if the Russians don’t need this war the West, and particularly the European component of the West, needs it badly.  We were slowly rotting out our economies years before the SMO and the Sanctions War has sharply accelerated that process.  France and England are bust and the economic power house of Europe, Germany, is edging  in that direction too.   We have internal social and political problems – again intensified by the war – to which we have no solution or even any sketch of a solution.

We Europeans are also pretending, maybe some of us believe it, that if we can get the Americans to put their full strength into the war we’ll win.  I’m seeing that expressed in the English press time and time again and am also picking up the same theme from the European politicians and media.

A dead end, that.  The Americans don’t have any full strength.  They are running low on equipment, have difficulty replacing it, and even if they could that equipment is seldom adequate.  They have nothing like enough men to deploy in this theatre and as a whole string of tragedies in Ukraine show, they don’t know how to fight this sort of war anyway.

The provision of ISR facilities – those at least are world class – and various bits and pieces of what is now termed dirty war are the only potent shots the Americans have in their locker.  Not enough, and even if the Americans could somehow bring real force to bear the war would go nuclear.   Which Biden would not risk and neither Trump today.  Any way you look at it the Europeans are on a loser hoping the Americans will pull their chestnuts out of the fire.

As said before, and if the European politicians are capable of rational thought, their course is nevertheless clear.  They need war to hold their fragile polities together.  “We have always been at war with Eastasia” is the battle cry to keep  us proles in line supporting them.  They’re also hoping that military Keynesianism will boost economies that are otherwise shot.

So we’re seeing, as in 21/22, a series of pinpricks from the Europeans that it’s hoped will make the Russians take retaliatory or preventative action.  That preventative action they can, as in ’22,  claim is “unprovoked” and demonstrates the “Russian threat” to Europe is real.   Without that “Russian threat” they can’t take us into Cold War II.

A dangerous period, therefore.  As in ’22, if we overdo the pinpricks that Russian preventative action might be more than we bargained for.  We are dependent on the good sense of the Russians to avoid unwanted escalation.  So far that’s been their  approach.  We in the West are lucky Putin’s in charge over there.  As ever, once he’s got his demilitarisation and denazification he’s looking to wind this scrap down before it goes too far.  But even Putin might get bored rolling with the punches  indefinitely.
