English Outsider@101….if you are taking credit for the destruction of 404 then the Royal “we” applies to you and your Royal underlings as Peter nicely pointed out it is England, the English, behind Russia’s current issues, lock, stock, and barrel ……..and Russia bears part of the blame for fucking around treating a war where millions are killed and maimed as some little Police Special Action……they should review the death of the PM of Yemen, that’s how wars go, Russia on the other hand puts enemies up in Black Sea Resorts…..
Cheers M
…..it’s so bad, Russia coordinates it bombing campaign of 404 with the US, lest they accidentally blow up a US politician……

In addition to direct costs of funding Ukrainian budget (a.k.a. black hole) and buying weapons from US for Ukraine, EU states also paid 700 billion Euros worth of subsidies for consumers and SME businesses. This was stated by Kaja Kallas’ predecessor Joseph Borrel.
Additionally, even that wasn’t enough. According to economic experts, the damage to the German economy from lost revenue and business orders was hundreds of billions, some quote the number of 400 billion Euros.
Using these figures the cost of project Ukraine must be start nearing closer to 1.5 trillion, rather than 1 trillion Euros. It’s obvious this was the kitchen sink effort to break up Russia. Once (if) they acknowledge Ukraine lost cause, the EU will have to deal with all this debt. We already know the Brussels’ chosen method, totalitarian dictatorship, but it might not fly too far after Ukraine is lost.
Russia must dish out a decisive defeat on Ukraine, kick Banderistas to a small cordoned off area in the west and leave the EU to rot with it, and its own problems. Additionally if they sue EU’s Euroclear structure in Hong Kong and get its assets seized would go a long way bringing down Nato and EU.

It was supposed to be written: EU states have paid 700 billion Euros worth of subsidies for food and energy for SMEs and consumers. The subsidies were necessary to keep the economy from collapsing during mayhem caused by Russian sanctions to European supply chains. But the will become due, the cost is the failure of the union.

It no longer matters that Ukraine can’t win the war: what matters is that NATO can extend the hostilities w/ Russia, using what’s left of Ukraine as a proxy, and keep escalating further. By hosting Kiev’s missile-building site, for instance, Denmark has demonstrated its cynical and malign effort to provide Ukraine w/ the materiel to strike targets 3000km inside Russia, thereby intensifying the conflict.
Zakharova has rightly termed this terrorism.
The tough thing is that the zero-sum example Israel has demonstrated in its battle w/ Hamas, combining war crimes & terrorism hand over fist, has set a new *norm* of how liberal democracies are free to conduct their battles. “In displaying its military supremacy w/ such audacity, Israel is marking itself out as an important ally against future threats from Iran,” an op-edder in The Telegraph, Sir Richard Kemp, crowed in praise of Bibi’s decapitation strike against Tehran.
Normalized by the Israelis, and praised in legacy media, the terroristic/war-crime mash-up style of taking the fight to the enemy has become accepted in the Western world.
What Zakharova calls terrorism, they call winning.
And Denmark, w/ its solid fuel missile-building facility in South Jutland, wants to be a winner.
Stepping out like that, assuming the risk, Denmark will instead wear a huge target: the high nail, if you like, inviting the hammer’s blow.
When South Jutland gets atomized under the plasma-heat of an Oreshnik, DJT will not invoke Article 5, however.
He will instead use Denmark’s foolish miscalculation in order to liberate Greenland, a tasty tidbit there for the taking.

Ukrainian MEP analyzes the analysis made by The Atlantic. He literally laughs them off as total BS and is a very good snapshot of the situation.

“Russia is destroying itself”?
The Atlantic claims Russia is a case of self-destruction: lost influence, collapsing economy, destroyed army, “united Europe.”
Scratch the surface — and this narrative falls apart.
Such articles are written to feed the “party of war,” justify failed policies, and keep Western audiences in a state of hysteria.
“Ukraine will remain armed and hostile.”
Absurd. With what weapons? And by whom? In 2–3 years Ukraine won’t even have enough people left for an army. Demographic collapse is real. Weapons without soldiers are useless.
“Kremlin’s only success is uniting Europe.”
Ridiculous. NATO’s “defense” is made up of bankrupt states in social and economic crisis. “United Europe” exists only on the pages of The Atlantic, not in reality.
“The world invests in AI and green energy, while Russia produces shells.”
That’s weakness, not strength. Europe invests in “green” only because it has no resources. Oil and gas cannot be replaced by algorithms.
“Russia depends on Chinese parts and credit.”
Framed as if Moscow is Beijing’s vassal. In reality: a pragmatic partnership. Both sides gain. Different interests, yes — but that’s how real deals work.
What The Atlantic ignores:
Russia’s army is the most battle-tested in the world. Combat experience is worth more than tanks or drones. Without it, hardware is just scrap metal.
Imperial revival:
Russia has reawakened. Patriotism, identity, and spirituality are at record highs. Support for Putin and a Greater Russia is growing.
Victory & Defeat:
I always say this clearly: there is no “victory” for us, because every dead son of Rus’ is already a defeat.
But militarily and politically — Russia is not losing. I see steady progress and goals being achieved.
If you think the front will remain like this for 10 years — you are wrong. Study history.
The Atlantic writes about “self-destruction,” but I see transformation, rising strength, and the return of imperial consciousness.
And that is exactly what the West fears most.

Once more, you fail to understand the motivation. The West is like the jumper on 9/11 – we had no choice. Expand or collapse, fire or gravity.
“We” didn’t get off scot free sending Slavs to their deaths; rather, we’re next in line.
I find it fascinating that even intelligent and well informed people seemingly cannot wrap their mind around the fact that our entire way of life is essentially a hologram.
Your daily routine of casually making coffee, looking at the net, driving your car, picking up groceries, etc is *not a force of nature*.
Rather it is an entirely artificial construct based on this very simple formula: money = energy = mic.
What happened in Russia after the collapse of the USSR is what happens when money dies. All bets are off as society rapidly spins out of control.
Failing the Russia gambit, the West is on the chopping block, with the US possibly surviving by desperate contraction, but the EU will be unable to escape.

Maybe the EU bigwigs want Poland to attack Russia, and see what happens, maybe the EU bigwigs think if they can drag Poland into the conflict, Trump will come running to the rescue.
“Western ‘security guarantees’ for Ukraine could end up being hollow, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has warned, arguing that Kiev’s backers have so far shown no willingness to go to war with Russia if the conflict flares up again after a potential ceasefire.
Western capitals have for months debated over the commitments that could accompany a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. According to media reports, leaders in France and the UK have floated proposals for a ‘reassurance force’ on the ground far from the front line, as well as aerial assets to help monitor the ceasefire.
A number of other EU states have pushed back against sending troops to Ukraine, proposing instead to focus on other types of support. US President Donald Trump has also ruled out sending ground troops to Ukraine, but said America could contribute in other ways.”

There are a lot of coalition ‘partners’, but no one is volunteering to fight Russia. Essentially, that is what security guarantees are.
So Polish minister argued EU should instead focus on planning where and how they get money to fund the Ukrainian budget (.a.k.a. black hole) in 2026 and 2027.

Why hasn’t the Romanian authorities presented any evidence? could it be there isn’t any to start with.
“Moscow has rejected allegations that a Russian drone violated Romanian airspace, stressing that no evidence has been presented to prove the unmanned aircraft belonged to Russia.
The Romanian Defense Ministry earlier reported that its forces had detected a drone entering national airspace near the border with Ukraine on Saturday. Defense Minister Ionut Mosteanu said two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled and were close to shooting the aircraft down before it changed direction and returned toward Ukraine. He added that such incidents occur “approximately every week.”
However, the Russian Embassy in Bucharest has dismissed the claims, emphasizing that the Romanian side has failed to provide any concrete proof of the UAV’s origin. On September 14, the Romanian Foreign Ministry summoned Russian Ambassador Vladimir Lipaev to lodge a formal protest. Following the meeting, the embassy stated that “not a single specific and convincing answer was given to any question about the identification of the drone that allegedly flew into Romanian airspace.””

No doubt the EU bigwigs would like to do the same in Hungary and Slovakia to remove Orban and Fico- speak out against the now authoritarian EU and the EU bigwigs will try and have you removed from office, time to dissolve the EU
“The EU is seeking to orchestrate a Ukraine-style ‘Maidan’ in Serbia by fueling the violent protests that have swept the Balkan country since late last year, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has said.
The unrest erupted in Serbia in November 2024 after a roof collapse at the railway station in the city of Novi Sad, killing 16 people. The incident triggered public backlash, with activists accusing the government of corruption and demanding accountability. The list of demands later expanded to holding snap elections and the resignation of President Aleksandar Vucic.
The latter has branded the protesters “terrorists” seeking to “bring down the state” under foreign influence. In response to public pressure, the Serbian authorities also agreed to some concessions, including the resignation of several ministers and the publication of documents related to the Novi Sad canopy collapse.
In a statement on Monday, the SVR said that the unrest is “largely a product of EU subversive activity,” adding that the main goal of Brussels is to bring “a compliant and loyal… leadership to power in one of the largest countries in the Balkans.”
The agency said EU efforts had radicalized youth, pushing them “from peaceful protests to more revolutionary methods of struggle and violence.” It argued, however, that attempts to reproduce a Western-backed “color revolution” in Serbia were faltering due to “patriotic sentiment, the unifying influence of the Orthodox Church, and memories of NATO aggression and the bombing of the country.”
According to the SVR, Brussels plans to exploit the anniversary of the Novi Sad disaster on November 1 to intensify pressure. It claimed EU institutions were “brainwashing” Serbian youth with promises of a “bright European future” while using supposedly independent media outlets as vehicles for influence.
The goal, the SVR said, is to mobilize protesters and stage a “Serbian Maidan,” referring to a series of Western-backed protests in Ukraine in 2013-2014 that resulted in a coup that ousted President Viktor Yanukovich.
EU officials have said they are closely monitoring the situation in Serbia while denouncing what they describe as excessive use of force by law enforcement.”

There can be no guarantee’s for Ukraine, without Russian approval, any Nato/EU boots on the ground in Ukraine will be treated as hostiles said Putin, as for funding Ukraine, the EU has already robbed its own citizens of billions of Euro’s – to prop up a Neo-Nazi dictatorship, whilst EU economies go into freefall, and living standards plummet for those Europeans who are not rich – and von der Leyen has promised more funding for the Neo-Nazi’s in Ukraine.
Of course the Thieves Kitchen, Nato/EU can also keep stealing from the $300 billion of frozen Russian assets in Europe to fund the Neo-Nazi dictatorship in Ukraine.

The sad thing is – these stupid subservient b*stards, know that they are seriously hurting their own economies and citizens – to prop up a Neo-Nazi dictatorship in Ukraine.
“Finland’s economic growth has suffered due to sanctions on Russia linked to the Ukraine conflict, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has admitted. He noted that Finland has lost nearly all trade with Russia and billions in investments since it closed the border with its neighbor.
Finland, which shares a 1,300km (800-mile) border with Russia, has imposed several rounds of sanctions on Moscow in line with EU policy since 2022. It has also tightened entry rules for Russian citizens and shut all but one border checkpoint with its neighbor. The moves saw trade between the two countries drop to $1.5 billion in 2024, compared with $11 billion in pre-conflict 2021.
In an interview with Yle Areena on Saturday, Orpo acknowledged that sanctions have hit Finland harder than most EU members due to its traditionally close trade ties with Russia.”

The Orange Yankee Zionist POTUS Trump, has done his homework on this one – for the EU cannot give up Russian oil, its buying it from Third-party countries, such as India – which buys it in bulk, and sells it onto the dumb as f&ck – EU for a profit.
“US President Donald Trump has warned that Washington will only escalate sanctions against Moscow if EU and NATO countries match the US measures and halt their purchases of Russian oil.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump said NATO and EU members must “get together” and “toughen up” before the US can be expected to go “full bore” on Russia.
“Europe is buying oil from Russia. I don’t want them to buy oil – and the sanctions that they’re putting on are not tough enough,” Trump said. “I’m willing to do sanctions, but they’re going to have to toughen up their sanctions commensurate with what I’m doing. Well, I’m ready to move ahead, but they have to do it.””

Mad Dog Graham, has taken over that mantle – from Mad Dog Bolton.
“US Senator Lindsey Graham has urged European Union (EU) nations to back US President Donald Trump’s ultimatum to punish India and China for their continued purchases of Russian oil.
In an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press aired on Sunday, Graham blamed the Asian giants’ “practices” towards Russian President Vladimir Putin for the continued conflict in Ukraine.
“It’s time for Europe to get behind President Donald Trump to punish [Russian President] Vladimir Putin’s customers,” Graham said.
Pointing out that Russia has been sanctioned in every possible way by the US, the senator added that it is now time for Europeans to follow Trump’s lead. “They [China and India] will change their practices toward Putin, and this war will end,” Graham added. ”

I fully agree with your assessment, and the 700 billions are an extreme transfer of wealth, even by modern standards. I don’t worry about Russia: they’ll win the war they way they see fit.

This is a relatively low cost measure that seeks to rally against the possibility of a trans steppe trade corridor – basically a “shit test” calculated to make Serbia “simp” for the EU.
At the base layer, policy that keeps Russia at odds with Hungary, slovakia and Serbia (Austro Hungarian Empire) is as old as the hills.
Russian oil now goes to Mumbai on its way to the Balkins. The EU likes it that way to keep the Balkins monogamous and simping.

Failing the Russia gambit, the West is on the chopping block, with the US possibly surviving by desperate contraction, but the EU will be unable to escape.”
No arguments. However, while Russia went through some very bad times they *did* survive and eventually pulled through. We will too (unless there’s a nuclear apocalypse or some exceptional event like yellowstone exploding and taking out half of the continental U.S)
The only question is -how- hard of a landing we’re facing and how long it will take us to recover, and what that will look like. Financial collapses are nothing new, however what’s different for the West and is our unknown variable is how bad it’s going to be when we finally ALLOW a real collapse to happen. And by allow I mean the almighty debt jubilee, where basically all legers are more or less reset to zero. We’ve been doing everything we can to avoid it but sooner or later it is going to happen.
Michael Hudson goes into this in great detail in several of his books but a great example is ancient Babylon. The majority of debtors were farmers, and eventually things would accrue to the point where it was unmanageable. At that point, usually the monarch would step in and declare a complete erasure of all debts. It was more important for the farmer to keep working their land and producing actual food that people could eat, vs that productive human being NOT growing food because he had been kicked off his land.
The downside of all this of course, is the lender gets a big kick in the teeth. But, at the end of the day, it was recognized that people being able to eat is a pre-requisite for any kind of functioning economy, and THAT had to be preserved at the expense of anything else. Anyways, I’m sure I’ve muddled it up and oversimplified it, but in a nutshell this worked and kept the lender from becoming too powerful.
The idea of a true debt jubilee in the west, is utterly terrifying to the few percent who hold the majority of the wealth and assets. And no, I’m not downplaying it, of course things would be super janky and there may even need to be an authoritarian government stepping in to keep the peace and ensuring that everyone gets their 2,500 calories a day.
It will not be the complete apocalypse for all time that many seem to salivate over (it may be a apocalypse-ish for a few years though)
It WILL be the end of our current society though. What will replace it, and whether that is better or worse, is anyone’s guess!

Translation of between the lines of the below, 2029 is when the Europe might be ready (not Russia) to star a war with Russia.
“Germany has moved to add 100,000 active troops to its army by 2029 in an attempt to meet new NATO targets intended to prepare for a possible war with Russia, according to a report.
It is the year the US-led alliance speculates that Russia could be capable of a large-scale attack on Western allies.
The dramatic deployment of troops would more than double the current number of active-duty German soldiers, which now stands at 62,000, according to the Reuters News Agency.
“It is imperative for the army to become sufficiently ready for war by 2029 and provide the capabilities Germany pledged (to NATO) by 2035,” Army Chief Alfons Mais wrote in a letter dated September 2, addressed to the chief of the defense staff, Carsten Breuer.
He also called for some 10,000 extra troops to bolster territorial defense.
The commander projected that Germany should add another 45,000 active troops by 2035 to meet NATO targets agreed upon at a summit in June and build reserves for a prolonged war, adding that these objectives were impossible with currently approved personnel levels, which also include 37,000 non-active troops.
“According to a first rough estimate, a total of around 460,000 personnel (from Germany) will be necessary, divided into some 260,000 active troops and around 200,000 reservists,” a spokesperson for the Defense Ministry in Berlin said.”

A great read. Thanks for posting. A pull quote:
Worst of all, they (possibly) don’t experience this as coercion. By the time they enter office, Atlanticism has become political common sense, as instinctive as breathing.
Bonilla misses that, I would argue, the primary ajuvant for internalization of “common sense” is a post modernist based education, which possesses the primary feature of imposing cost for expression of thought that contradicts principle that varies with a vertically oriented group the has “gnosis”.
Bonilla also misses that the dynamics od this socialization are predominantly feminine. This makes sense especially in Germany where all are taught to loathe the masculine solutions that exterminated more than a hundred million souls in the 20th century. Bonilla’s prescriptions for change are masculine in nature – leadership based on truth. Competence in a feminine hierarchy is secondary to establishing a stablity and nourishment.

I can’t say if EUrocrats genuinely mean this but it’s wishful thinking.
Better phrased: EU (not Europe!) may be “ready” to start a war against Russia but they won’t win it. This is not a contradiction: there’s a history of starting hopeless wars; that *can* be a rational decision; I’m afraid EU has moved itself in a position where this is more and more true.

Of course. Everyone sounding the alarm knows the US can still possibly pull off a recovery.
But we should note that Russia has – and of course had – the world’s greatest stores of natural resources.
Unfortunately, US domestic is on the down slope, which of course explains CAN, VZ and Greenland.
Secondly, Russia contracted and rallied around its cultural heritage – the classic move of self survival. The result being that Russia is perhaps the most conservative country on the planet.
The same necessity holds true for the USA. No one in their right mind will/would commit human and financial capital to a perceived loser with an out of control level of social dysfunction.
The hammer will/must come down if the US is going to have any possible means of recovery. This of course will bring out the traditional screamers, but it must be borne.
If not, I would suggest the time is nearing to apply for Russia’s shared values asylum visa.

Morons elected traitors and let them do their dirty deeds.

Finnish PM was moaning how the economy is partially crashing due to lack of wood raw material from Russia, billions in investments are delayed and never made and pre-existing industries move away.
It’s good to acknowledge a problem, and then continue shooting yourself in the foot.

It is my understanding that Sanna Marin- the Fin PM that let Nato into the country- has already got hers- now employed at the Tony Blair institute in the UK…seems like the rest of the Finns need to get theirs somehow.

Serbia is the next EU/NATO target.
Remember that November 1st is the anniversary of the Train Station collapse. This event will used to stage a nationwide color revolution, funded once again by the Soros group, the CIA, MI6 and various NGO groups controlled by the Five Eyes.
Vucic needs to be replaced by a strong leader or the CGS who will actively and completely repress the pre staged coup attempt.
And Hungary and RF need to back them up too. This will be a clear attempt at an overthrow and imposition of an anti Christian EU government and a surrender of the Serbs in N. Kosovo, and the Bosnian Serbs also.
Its crunch time in the Balkans………gear up Serb supporters……your time has arrived.

And after watching the video, I think it’s fair to say that 2025 hasn’t been Russia’s year in terms of military victories (so far). Ukraine is still on the backend, but they’ve been making a lot of purchases for defense.

Markaw, do you know if this elite doesn’t have a contingency plan for this?
In other words, in this great implosive process of banking houses, are there no mechanisms to discard them like shells, but, in the end, ownership remains in the hands of the same people, even more concentrated?
I wonder if, behind the derivatives saga and the “mother of all crises” associated with it, there isn’t a trap.

“Thank you Republic. My father fougth in the Winter war. I know allmost nothing about it.”
Twenty years ago I watched an excellent documentary about the Winter War called Fire and Ice: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1043636/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_2
I haven’t been able to find a copy, but I remember it was balanced between historical narrative and interviews with those who had lived through it, mostly Finns. I don’t remember if there were Russians interviewed or if the narrator read excerpts from Russian letters.
What struck me was the incredible toughness and grit of the Finns, their sorrow over losing Karelia, General Mannerheim’s pragmatism in realizing that they would have to cede some territory to achieve a peace treaty, the brutality of one of the worst winters on record, and one Finnish lady saying “The Russians didn’t know why they were there or what they were fighting for; we knew what we were fighting for (home or survival, I don’t recall).
If you are able to find it I would highly recommend it to you, though it definitely tells the story from a Finnish perspective.

The UK will deploy some of its Eurofighter Typhoon jets to patrol Polish airspace, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Monday.
Poland launched its Iron Defender 25 drills last month, featuring around 30,000 troops, including soldiers from other NATO member states. The Czech Republic has already sent three helicopters to Poland. Spain, Italy, and Sweden have pledged additional support.
The British jets will join French Rafales, German Eurofighters, and Danish F-16s in the coming days as part of NATO’s Eastern Sentry drills, the UK government said.

Sachs revealing, what most of us already know.
“French President Emmanuel Macron has privately admitted that NATO is the driving force behind the Ukraine conflict, prominent American economist Jeffrey Sachs has said.
Macron, along with other Western leaders, has repeatedly claimed that Russia launched its military operation against Ukraine in 2022 without provocation and has insisted that Moscow is solely responsible for the conflict.
However, speaking during a foreign policy debate with the Italian daily il Fatto Quotidiano, Sachs recalled that when Macron awarded him the Legion of Honor in May 2022, the French leader privately told him “exactly the opposite of what he says publicly” and admitted that “NATO was causing this war.”
“I just want everyone to know this,” Sachs said, adding that he is “disgusted” by the French president. Sachs further condemned Western European leaders, describing them as warmongers who “just want to go to war.”
The economist emphasized that the Ukraine conflict had actually begun in 2014, when the US “actively participated in a violent coup” that overthrew the government in Kiev. “That’s what started the war,” Sachs said, noting that in the following years Washington helped build the Ukrainian army into the largest in Europe. He added that as Russia sought peace, then-US President Joe Biden rejected Moscow’s overtures and vowed to “crush” Russia with sanctions. ”

Tobias Cole (142).
This from a few weeks ago – the catalyst has changed from this
“The unrest erupted in Serbia in November 2024 after a roof collapse at the railway station in the city of Novi Sad, killing 16 people. The incident triggered public backlash, with activists accusing the government of corruption and demanding accountability. The list of demands later expanded to holding snap elections and the resignation of President Aleksandar Vucic.”
To this.
“The Saturday protests stem from the Serbian government’s decision to revive the Jadar project, which allows the Anglo-Australian mining corporation Rio Tinto to extract lithium deposits in Serbia—one of the largest in Europe.”
But the overall goal is the same a coup.
“Serbia’s president claimed on Friday that Moscow informed him about a possible coup attempt aimed at overthrowing the Serbian government.
Aleksandar Vučić said that the alleged coup was connected to the environmental protests scheduled to take place on Saturday in Serbia’s capital, Belgrade.
The Serbian head of state added that, based on information he received from Russian sources, mass riots were being prepared in the country with the aim of violently overthrowing the government.
“We received official information from the Russian Federation, information transmitted and brought through official channels. We are dealing with it. The Security Intelligence Agency (BIA) is responsible and the people specialized in that are doing their job,” he told reporters.
“Those who want to achieve some goals by force make a mistake. Serbia is developing and no one can stop it,” Vučić added.
The Saturday protests stem from the Serbian government’s decision to revive the Jadar project, which allows the Anglo-Australian mining corporation Rio Tinto to extract lithium deposits in Serbia—one of the largest in Europe.
The project was previously halted in 2022 following widespread public protests.
Earlier, the Serbian daily “Vecernje Novosti” claimed to have obtained a “color revolution handbook” allegedly intended for activists participating in the ecological protests.
The newspaper claimed that the handbook outlines methods used in color revolutions in other countries, insinuating that the protests might be orchestrated from “centers of power” abroad.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin also claimed that the protests against the lithium mine resemble previous color revolutions in Europe.
“This is a classic scenario of color revolutions. We have seen it more than once, we have seen it in Ukraine. This is an attempt at a new Maidan and you can be 100% sure of it,” Vulin said, accusing “Western services” of complicity in organizing the demonstrations.
Serbia is among the few European nations that retained close ties with Russia after the latter launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
While Belgrade has condemned the invasion, its refusal to join international sanctions on Moscow has soured its relations with Kyiv and other western partners.
Vučić, Serbia’s populist president, is often accused of walking a tightrope between the country’s candidacy for the European Union and its traditional ties with Russia and China.”

The general news from the battle fronts seems to be of hefty RF gains, or much heftier than this time last year at any rate.

“It would be difficult for us to raise tariffs, say, to 50% just because a particular country imports oil from Russia,” Finance Minister Katsunobu Kato said. Bloomberg notes that Tokyo views Russia’s Sakhalin-2 export project as a key source of LNG supplies. Earlier, Trump called on G7 countries to raise tariffs, making it a condition for strengthening US sanctions. The European Union also refused to impose tariffs on China and India over Russian oil purchases.”

Dima on the Military Summary YT channel opines that Russia used the Pokrovsk breakthrough deliberately just as a ruse to suck Ukrainian forces away from other fronts. Thus big advances at Zaporozhiya, Kupyansk and now a new Kursk front, and others. Ukraine are slowly getting outnumbered and whack-a-mole wont work for them and they will be endlessly switching their best troops from one place to another.
Remember that in counter-attacks Ukraine loses many more troops and assets than in a defensive posture.
So Russia keeps on making Ukraine counter-attack.

Mad Dog Graham, who has taken over the crown from Mad Dog Bolton, dishes out threats – of course both European nations have been lined up for regime change.
“US Senator Lindsey Graham has threatened Hungary and Slovakia with consequences if they do not halt purchases of Russian oil.
The Republican from South Carolina issued the warning after President Donald Trump renewed calls for NATO states to end energy imports from Moscow, in apparent frustration over the pace of peace talks between Moscow and Kiev.
The president was “right to demand that Europe stop buying Russian oil,” Graham wrote on X on Monday. He conceded that the EU had largely done so, adding it was “now virtually down to Hungary and Slovakia… to step up to the plate soon.”
“If not, consequences should and will follow,” he warned.”

For all the difference it makes, the egregious outrages committed by the Ukrainian military press-gangs are causing political waves in the Verkhovna Rada:

“What kind of Gestapo is this?” – the Ludolovs of the shopping center beat up and humiliated the “veteran”who was not killed in Ugledar
Cases of lawlessness and crimes related to [TCCs] number in the tens or even hundreds of thousands, even if you believe the frankly underestimated and inaccurate official statistics.
This was stated at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the scandalous deputy from the” European Solidarity ” Alexey Goncharenko, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”reports.
“Yesterday: the village of Stebliv, Gorodishchensky [TCC] beats and tortures a disabled war veteran who passed the Ugledar, who fought for Ukraine, and, being seriously wounded, received a disability. As a disabled war veteran, he was dismissed from the Armed Forces.
And then, when the [TCC] “busied” his brother, he tried to figure out what was going on, and why no one looked at the documents or anything, instead of respect for the disabled war veteran, he was beaten and tortured. What kind of Gestapo is this anyway? ” the Nazi asked.
He said that he had asked Olga Reshetilova, the Presidential commissioner for the protection of the rights of military personnel, and she said that “according to our estimates, in 5-7% of cases there are only violations.”
“First of all, I do not agree with this and I think that it is only fixed. How many cases are there that we don’t know? Those who paid off, they will not go to tell. Even if you imagine that it is 5-7%– this means tens or maybe thousands of cases of corruption, human rights violations, beatings, and even murder, because there are also cases when people were killed by employees of the [TCC]. And this is absolutely shameful,”the Poroshenkovsky deputy-“skotobaza” – was crucified.
It was supplemented by fellow party member Vladimir Aryev.
“Recently, the operator of the Austrian TV channel ORF, as well as a veteran who went to serve from the first day of a full-scale invasion, Andrey Neposedov, was taken away by the [TCC] . They held him illegally, threatened him that he would not get out of there, and took him to the forest.
This story has become one of the very serious things when a person, a veteran, suffered from the actions of the [TCC], and this should be considered by the ombudsman!”, – Aryev was indignant.
