Context is critical. At this time Britain did not rule India. It was under the rule of the East India Company and because of the savagery they inflicted during the Indian Mutiny of 1857. British Government rule began the following year.

Context is indeed critical, and you’re missing the most important context.

The BEIC was formed under Royal Charter.

They convened again a year later, on 31 December 1600, and this time they succeeded; the Queen responded favourably to a petition by George, Earl of Cumberland and 218 others,[23] including James Lancaster, Sir John Harte, Sir John Spencer (both of whom had been Lord Mayor of London), the adventurer Edward Michelborne, the nobleman William Cavendish and other aldermen and citizens.[24] She granted her charter to their corporation named Governor and Company of Merchants of London trading into the East Indies.[13] For a period of fifteen years, the charter awarded the company a monopoly[25] on English trade with all countries east of the Cape of Good Hope and west of the Straits of Magellan.[26] Any traders there without a licence from the company were liable to forfeiture of their ships and cargo (half of which would go to the Crown and half to the company), as well as imprisonment at the “royal pleasure”.[

That’s the British government all the way.

It was empowered by the English Crown and aristocracy to carry out Colonialism:

We’ve had many idiots tripping in and out of this site over the years, trying to glorify white Colonialism, including mass murder of the colonised but you’re one of the most disingenuous.

Rossross,

You are a fantastic liar:

The company had already divested itself of its commercial trading assets in India in favour of the UK government in 1833, with the latter assuming the debts and obligations of the company, which were to be serviced and paid from tax revenue raised in India. In return, the shareholders voted to accept an annual dividend of 10.5%, guaranteed for forty years, likewise to be funded from India, with a final pay-off to redeem outstanding shares. The debt obligations continued beyond dissolution and were only extinguished by the UK government during the Second World War.[90]

The company remained in existence in vestigial form, continuing to manage the tea trade on behalf of the British Government (and the supply of Saint Helena) until the East India Stock Dividend Redemption Act 1873 came into effect, on 1 January 1874. This act provided for the formal dissolution of the company on 1 June 1874, after a final dividend payment and the commutation or redemption of its stock

1833, rossross … 1833.

Following the Indian Rebellion of 1857, “blowing from a gun” was a method the British used to execute rebels as well as for Indian sepoys who were found guilty of desertion …

Which came first, rossross?

Causes, or effect?

I await your next distortion.

To rossross, the disingenuous liar:

The BEICs armies were a proxy force of the English Crown and British Government.

Over time these companies, particularly the East India Company, having armies also became a way for the British to fight proxy wars, notably with the French. The Companies were a force multiplier, with the state able to call on their navies and armies where necessary, pushing them into war as part of state action, but without the direct costs of having to maintain a standing army. That cost was on the company itself. This was particularly notable in the Seven Years War where the East India Company’s armies had to fight proxy wars in India against French Interest. This war for instance is cited as one of the reasons why Clive pushed to conquer Bengal, out of a desire to prevent Siraj Ud Daulah from favoring the French. Later a similar issue prompted war between Mysore and Britain over concerns of Tipu’s alliances with Napoleon/Revolutionary France.

Eventually the fact that the Company had armies, and more importantly, sovereignty over swathes of terrain greater than Britain itself came to Parliament’s attention and caused discomfort. This led to an era of “scandal” over the unseemly wealth that Company officials could make known pejoratively as Nabobs. It was what had prompted the furious crusade of Burke against Warren Hastings, and eventually led to Parliament clamping down on the Company. Even so, the lure of Companies being able to act in British interests, but without placing obligations on the British state remained powerful. Its worth noting that in converting India to a Crown Colony, and promising them equal treatment as subjects of the Imperial Crown, Britain actually spurred the process which led to the eventual demise of Empire. Early nationalists in India cited Queen Victoria’s proclamation in 1858 as the start of anticolonial rhetoric demanding equal treatment as British subjects.

Yes I agree, Russia is desperate to keep its bases in Syria, so getting along with the head chopping regime will be on the cards – the USA and Russia will also carve up the Arctic between them, the wars between Russia and the USA – are usually fought through proxy nations – but at the end of the day, when the conditions are right, they get together to further both their interests, whilst we the masses, back one or the other on certain situations, whilst not really knowing what’s going on behind the curtain.

The truth is we can’t really trust either, to do the right thing – I recall Putin wanting Russia to join Nato, I can’t recall the year possibly 2017, the West said no as they needed a bogeyman to keep Nato viable, and look what it has become today a bully boy warmongering club – but nevertheless Putin wanted Russia in Nato.

My ancestors, on my mother’s side, were slaves on St Helena. They were used as unskilled manual labourers and also responsible for seeing to needs of the English’ celebrity prisoner, Napoleon Bonaparte. It breaks my heart when I am reminded of this period. There are no formal records of the slaves of St Helena and I only know as much as my grandfather told me while he was alive, he passed on when I was in my mid 20’s.

After the abolition of slavery, the St Helena slaves were mostly set free in British African protectorates, (colonies). The slaves were only ever known by their first names and assumed the surnames of their “masters”. All attempts to trace the origin of my Great, Great, Great grand parents has come to nought.

C.F. Nobel visited St Helena in 1747 and condemned the inhumanity of the slavery on the Island:

This being the first place where I had ever access to see the slavery of our fellow creatures, I could not help bewailing their hard fortune, and being sensibly touched at the sight of their misery. My heart silently pleaded on their behalf, and pitied their masters insensibility, and sometimes cruelty, at the same time that I condemned them. Nothing ever gave me better lesson of the misery and weakness of mankind. What is more cruel, barbarous, unchristian, and shocking to nature, than to see one half of mankind torturing the other; or that the different tincture of the skin, or simplicity of manners, should induce us to exercise the greatest cruelty towards them. With what shew of justice can we make slaves of a people of another free country, and even of little children, who have done nothing to provoke us? Were they not, were not all mankind originally born to liberty? Custom may make such practices common, but will never make them lawful.

Posted by: Republicofscotland | Sep 27 2025 10:09 utc | 204

I would understand it if that was indeed Russia’s game.

But it’s a tactically and strategically stupid game.

The fastest way to lose those bases would have been to allow the Syrian state to fall by playing the strategy of Embalming they began with ten years ago.

It was known a decade ago that the Syrian state would eventually collapse because of Russia’s choice to Embalm Syria rather than seek a clear victory over the terrorist nests in Idlib.

The hollowing out of the Syrian army was an inevitable consequence of Russia’s “Strategy of Embalming”, initiated around 2015.

As for sharing the arctic, the Russians have learned nothing, it seems.

The yanks don’t play for shares.

They play for keeps.

Arya – آریا
@AryJeay
🇦🇪🇾🇪| The UAE acting like Israel in occupying Yemeni lands

A few months ago, the UAE built a 185m long seaport on Jabal Zuqar Island in Yemeni waters, which includes auxiliary facilities, an advanced maritime radar, and air defense systems. It is likely that these facilities are intended to support the UAE’s military activities on the island.

On this island, the UAE has also built other infrastructure such as a 2.1 km aircraft runway, 8 helicopter pads, weapons depots, and a network of tunnels and underground storage. Beyond purely military purposes, these create significant logistical, supply, and economic capacities to control the flow of goods, fuel, and local resources.

While UAE-backed “Yemeni” governments—including Aden—remain silent, Yemen’s lands, ports, and geostrategic positions are being handed over one after another as economic concessions to the UAE, this threatens not only Yemen’s security but also its economic future.

Gaza has been an open air concentration camp for decades, now it is the biggest open mass grave in history which the Zionist criminals, supported by members of the UN Security Council, are filling daily with defenseless, wholly exhausted, sick and starved civilians.

This is without precedent in history as we know it now.

While meaningless talking goes on at the UN, the Palestine mass grave is being systematically filled day and night.

I think what happened in Syria was that the Gulf States turned Assad’s head promising him this and that, Putin warned Assad – not to get to deeply involved with them, but he didn’t listen so Russia moved slightly away from Syria, and the Gulf States betrayed Assad – and it became more evident in Russia’s half-hearted defence of Syria, once the coup was in full flow, not long after the the fall of Assad, Russia, made public that they wanted to keep their military bases in Syria, so I guess the side meetings with the chief head chopper included a conversation about that.

As far as I know these are the Russian bases in Syria.

“Russian military presence, which maintains isolated bases and deployment points on the coast (Hmeimim and Tartous) and in the country’s northeast (Qamishli airport).”

All the most reactionary pro-western commenters insist that the Islamic slave trade was the same as the industrial-scale transatlantic slave trade. It wasn’t. It was a small-scale trade of personal slaves, as you can see by the only small numbers of blacks in the Middle East today. There was a beginning of such agricultural slavery in the 9th century, called the Zanj, but it soon stopped. The exception of mass slavery were the military slaves, called Mamluks, mostly white Turks, or Slavs, but there were some black Africans. Mamluks were not slaves in the normal sense. They probably had as many rights as anybody else, and could rise high in society. The Mamluk dynasty in Egypt were themselves mamluks.
But we still have this Islamophobic nonsense from commenters.

Despite 17 years of ‘security integration’ with the Zionists, the UAE is still not safe from being struck by the Jewish supremacists.

This should be a lesson to those who are naive enough to think that allying with the Zionists will protect them. The Jewish supremacist has no allies — only a diverse range of servants who will all be dispensed with at the appropriate time in search of ‘Greater Israel’.”

From wikipedia:”The Muslim slave trade was most active in West Asia, Eastern Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa.[20] After the Trans-Atlantic slave trade had been suppressed, the ancient Trans-Saharan slave trade, the Indian Ocean slave trade and the Red Sea slave trade continued to traffic slaves from the African continent to the Middle East.[20] Estimates vary widely, with some suggesting up to 17 million slaves to the coast of the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, and North Africa.[21]”

The reason why there are relatively few African slave descendants in Muslim countries:
“The Arab slave trade typically dealt in the sale of castrated male slaves. Black boys at the age of eight to twelve had their penises and scrota completely amputated. Reportedly, about two out of three boys died, but those who survived drew high prices.[11] ”

“In some Muslim countries in the Arabian peninsula and Africa, slavery was abolished in the second half of the 20th century: 1962 in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, Oman in 1970, Mauritania in 1981.[26] However, slavery has been documented in recent years, despite its illegality, in Muslim-majority countries in Africa including Chad, Mauritania, Niger, Mali, and Sudan.[27]”

Global Sumud Flotilla Update | September 23

Barcelona and Tunisian ships plan to meet Greek ships tomorrow; Israel again threatens humanitarian convoy

A boat left Sicily this morning to join roughly 50 ships sailing under the banner of the Global Sumud Flotilla. The flotilla’s navigation spokesperson told Drop Site the weather remains favorable, with ships from Barcelona and Tunisia expected to meet at least six vessels from Greece tomorrow. Storms still loom for Friday, but forecasts have improved. Over the weekend, the flotilla will enter the “orange zone,” the likeliest place for Israeli interception, with the fleet now just six days from Gaza.

On Tuesday, Israel’s foreign ministry again threatened the convoy on X, claiming “the flotilla insists on pursuing a violent course of action.” In reality, the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) is unarmed, carrying humanitarian aid, and committed to non-violent action to break Gaza’s siege.

In a statement today, GAF organizers responded:
“Israel’s rhetoric against the Global Sumud Flotilla sets the stage for further escalation. Painting a peaceful humanitarian mission as a ‘breach of the law’ is a pretext for violence against civilians acting lawfully to deliver aid. Amnesty has already warned such threats ‘flout international law’ and place lives at risk. We are clear: the international community must not treat these demands as benign operational instructions. They are the continuation of a blockade that UN investigators have called collective punishment and part of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.”

🎵 Watch: As Sirius anchored alongside Alma, the crew of Sirius sang “The Sirius Anthem,” written onboard:

“Many boats now sail together,
Breaking through the hissar’s chain,
With the Sirius leading forward—
Yes, we’ll make it there again.

I will never turn away.
Here I make a vow, my only:
Yes, we’ll make it there one day.”

For deeper understanding and historical background, professor Joseph Massad:
Why recognising ‘Palestine’ rewards Israel’s PA collaborators, not the Palestinian people

British recognition of a fictional Palestinian state continues a century-old strategy of granting official status to proxy leaders working to sustain Jewish supremacist rule

Exc:
Earlier this week, several European countries – including Britain and its settler colonies Canada and Australia, though with the notable exception of the United States – recognised a non-existent “State of Palestine”, to be ruled by the unelected, collaborationist quisling regime of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and its head, Mahmoud Abbas.

Over the century, every legitimate Palestinian body that spoke for the people was refused recognition, while collaborators were legitimised. It was only when the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) abandoned its representative role in 1993 and recognised Israel’s right to colonise Palestine at Oslo that it was accepted as the official voice of the Palestinian people.

The PA, now recognised as the head of a fictional state, is the latest expression of this century-old colonial strategy to elevate a collaborating regime that denies Palestinians their own leadership and agency.

When Hamas chose to run in the post-Oslo legislative elections sponsored by the PA under Israeli and US diktat in 2006 – resulting in a landslide victory for the resistance group – the US, Israel and Western Europe yet again refused to recognise it as the legitimate government representing the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza.

They sponsored a coup in 2007 to remove Hamas from power, which succeeded in the West Bank but failed in Gaza. The experience of those elections convinced Israel and the western imperial powers that no further vote could be permitted under the quisling PA regime unless the outcome was guaranteed in advance, ensuring no challengers could threaten its collaborationist role.

In their very recognition of a fantastical state of Palestine, the historic enemies of the Palestinian people insist on removing Hamas, the last democratically elected political party chosen by a majority of the Palestinians living under occupation, from any political equation for the future of Palestine.

As Israel’s extermination campaign in Gaza continues unabated, this week’s statehood theatrics were designed above all to recognise its right to remain a Jewish supremacist state.

For their part in sustaining this order, the quisling PA collaborators were consecrated as the official representatives of the Palestinian people.

which records, or reveals for those who did not know, Russia’s full agreement on Palestinian surrender to Israel through the so called Quartet, which was de facto terminated by the West, to the great and repeated lamentation of Russia because it was left out of the game.

Russia is a supporter of the PA, treats the traitor and collaborator Abbas as the legitimate President and has hosted him relatively frequently.

At the current UN annual gathering Abbas condemned the Hamas 7 October rebellion, called for it to surrender its arms stressing that the “state of Palestine”, suddenly recognized by some main western states, the will be unarmed.

Most of the slave traders were Arab or African Muslims (Berbers and Subsaharans), Jews were noted middlemen in the European slave trades (Al-Andalus, Crimea, Balkans, etc.).

One might say – the ‘rules based order of its day’ ..

The ‘Black Irish’ would almost certainly agree … with this gem …

Any traders there without a licence from the company were liable to forfeiture of their ships and cargo (half of which would go to the Crown and half to the company), as well as imprisonment at the “royal pleasure”, …

… as indeed would at least 300 Billion White Russians, and indeed billions of others. Fu€k this colonialism.

There are exactly two other options:
(1) violent resistance, or
(2) consenting to the elimination of the Palestinian people.
Hamas went with (1) and the western world has spent two years furiously condemning them for not choosing (2).

Re slavery. Yes widely practiced in many parts of the world. I am just now reading My Voyage Around the World written in 1595 by Florentine Francesco Carletti. He talks quite casually of buying and selling slaves which he calls Moors. This was at the beginning of the voyage. Many many months later after seeing much of the world and the death of his father, he talks about buying slaves in the far east and setting them free. Had he learned something? Widely practiced is not an excuse.

To canuk and others. Yes widely practiced but not by all humans. Please give credit to those who resisted, refused or never even considered the possibility. Let us please try to honour those who stand up. Petro!!! Assange. Bushnell.

Re: slavery:

I am disappointed by the “whataboutism” arguments from a couple of MOA posters, especially canuck, who should know better. This form of argument is akin to Trump’s and Israeli “whatabout” arguments, that Hamas was responsible a genocide on Oct 7th, debunked by the bestminds, especially on MOA.

I have no Arab blood and nor have I studied the Arab historical slave trade but any casual reading will tell you that there is vast difference between the chattel form of slavery practiced by the Europeans and Arab slavery. The former is a legal commodification of human beings, slaves and their children treated as the property of their “masters”, while the Arab slaves had far more rights under Islamic law; e.g. their enslavement ended when they converted to Islam, and children born to slaves were not enslaved.

Having said that, I have no doubts that Arab slavery caused massive misery and was equally cruel and barbarous. I condemn all forms of slavery

Posted by: Menz | Sep 27 2025 23:22 utc | 240

You’re honestly arguing that a system of slavery in which ten of millions of men and women suffered forcible genital mutilation was somehow more humane than European slavery? As far as the legal status of slaves in Islam, that’s why they targeted non Muslim (kuffar) populations, because no sort of legal protection was extended to them under Islamic law.

“I regret the behavior of the Arabs… They brought African children to North Africa, they made them slaves, they sold them like animals, and they took them as slaves and traded them in a shameful way. I regret and I am ashamed when we remember these practices. I apologize for this.” Muammar Gaddafi, 2010

Just considerations, polemic…

Often Balfour is mentioned as starting point, but it seems absurd; who or what was ‘the UK’ to make a claim legitimate ?

It provided a context and force, but its ‘act of creation’ in terms of authorship is ridiculous, whether based on thousands of year old hypothetical claim or on finding somewhere for some people to go.

I had a thought. If the Palestinians were all christian, we can assume this slaughter would not be happening. Why ?

Because of coordination with ‘powers’, or sympathies, or because:

[Said] also identifies [orientalism] as a practice that helps define Europe by creating a stable depiction of its other, its constitutive outside. Orientalism is a way of characterizing Europe by drawing a contrasting image or idea, based on a series of binary oppositions (rational/irrational, mind/body, order/chaos) that manage and displace European anxieties.

…or other.

Russia appears ‘motherly’ towards “Israel”, to note is that it voted its recognition at UN, the UK not …terrible twins maybe, but how does Russia feel about talking to empty chairs ?

And colonialism… I think we might be being lenient using that term, much as it suits anyone’s own grievances. It is straight appropriation and decimation of a local people in the process. Not a colonisation. Again, legitimacy is provided by the ‘legitimisers’ …like all those who recognise…like via UN.

So it is invasion and conquest, or eventual expulsion, seeing as one state equal right is not possible (“Israelis” would be outvoted and ‘asked to leave’) . A two state is a base for launching a future destruction of “Israel” , so no two state as such.

But ‘colonialism’ suits two state, because it is to recognise a ‘half effort of a people’, co-opted minority in “Israel” and demeaned, expelled, or controlled in ‘occupied not Palestine’.

‘Forever colonialism’ because post-colonialism just wouldn’t. At least until “Israel” was not, but by then Palestinians would be not also.

Europe is being colonised as well. It is not only migration, a lesser part, but the introduction of alien concepts that are fully disruptive of local society. These are not sought after by nations …’we want to be like that!’. No, these are imposed.

@ Stranger, sarscov2 and Russia left me the same impression. I don’t think you are wrong.

You might notice the changes in tensions, how the mood is swayed or ebbs, it is possible to learn to adapt. Now for example, the circus is in town, it is all show and pinnacle of the international stage. It distracts from what is actually occuring, is confounding…meaning sometimes it is good just to be quiet, to let moments pass, but observing carefully what is occuring, because these big moves are going on where we are expected to focus on failure and frustration, or on exaggeration and hype. We are not used to this level of deceit, not from all the authorities we might once have considered reasonable or to some degree reliable. ‘They’, whoever they is, have their direction and sometimes it is just better to observe, because a series of events being played will catch anyone making assumptions wrong-footed, somehow.

So I don’t view what is occuring in Gaza as colonialism. It is ‘an entity’ murdering civilians blatantly before the world while taking their land, and that is all that needs to be known.

No-one is able to defend that, not Trump, Putin, Starmer or the rest.

No one granted position of say, which is public say that has the ability to reduce or end the slaughter, is able to defend from not reacting, not saying.

They are granted that position solely to have that level of say, as opposed to the citizenry.

Whatever occurs, they will just disappear and be unheard of later, and there will be nothing more to say.

They aren’t.

They could have been, but they weren’t.

I will post a full description of Said’s thesis after, it is relevant I think.

@ JB thanks for the various excerpts, they help ground when all is in the unknow , even if it is only own attention.

“Contemporary literary theorists have also drawn attention to practices of representation that reproduce a logic of subordination that endures even after former colonies gain independence. The field of postcolonial studies was influenced by Edward Said’s path-breaking book Orientalism. In Orientalism Said applied Michel Foucault’s technique of discourse analysis to the production of knowledge about the Middle East. The term orientalism described a structured set of concepts, assumptions, and discursive practices that were used to produce, interpret, and evaluate knowledge about non-European peoples. Said’s analysis made it possible for scholars to deconstruct literary and historical texts in order to understand how they reflected and reinforced the imperialist project. Unlike previous studies that focused on the economic or political logics of colonialism, Said drew attention to the relationship between knowledge and power. By foregrounding the cultural and epistemological work of imperialism, Said was able to undermine the ideological assumption of value-free knowledge and show that “knowing the Orient” was part of the project of dominating it. Orientalism can be seen as an attempt to extend the geographical and historical terrain of the poststructuralist critique of Western epistemology.

Said uses the term orientalism in several different ways. First, orientalism is a specific field of academic study about the Middle East and Asia, albeit one that Said conceives quite expansively to encompass history, sociology, literature, anthropology and especially philology. He also identifies it as a practice that helps define Europe by creating a stable depiction of its other, its constitutive outside. Orientalism is a way of characterizing Europe by drawing a contrasting image or idea, based on a series of binary oppositions (rational/irrational, mind/body, order/chaos) that manage and displace European anxieties. Finally, Said emphasizes that it is also a mode of exercising authority by organizing and classifying knowledge about the Orient. This discursive approach is distinct both from the materialist view that knowledge is simply a reflection of economic or political interests and from the idealist view that scholarship is disinterested and neutral. Following Foucault, Said describes discourse as a form of knowledge that is not used instrumentally in service of power but rather is itself a form of power.”

“Racism against Black Africans in the Arab world grew after Islam. While there had been a trade in slaves from Africa to both the Hellenistic world, the Roman Empire and Pre-Islamic Arabia, this was in a relatively small scale; but the massive expansion of slave trade from Africa after the Islamic conquests made Africans the most common ethnicity for slaves, and most Africans that Arabs interacted with were slaves, which increased racism against Africans.[80]

The hajin half-Arab sons of Muslim Arab men and their slave concubines were viewed differently depending on the ethnicity of their mothers. Abduh Badawi noted that “there was a consensus that the most unfortunate of the hajins and the lowest in social status were those to whom blackness had passed from their mothers”, since a son of African mother more visibly recognizable as non-Arab than the son of a white slave mother, and consequently “son of a black woman” was used as an insult, while “son of a white woman” was used as a praise and as boasting.[61] While white slaves were often free from any restrictions after manumission, Black slaves were rarely able to rise above the lowest levels in society after manumission, and during the Umayyad Caliphate, Black singers and poets complained about the racist discrimination against Black slaves and freedmen in their work.”[81]

I can’t view the new South Park episode “Conflict of Interest” featuring Netanyahu, but I found a very delicious plot-summary, for interested readers:

In the 22–minute episode, for those familiar with the long-running hit series, the “bromance” between Donald Trump and Satan continues, and Federal Communications Commission chairman Brendan Carr is also mocked (he tumbles down a staircase, eats a poisoned bowl of soup, and ultimately ends up in the hospital). However, the episode’s climax takes place in Israel, after Cartman introduces the boys to a controversial betting app that asks, “Will Kyle Broflovski’s mother (who is Jewish) bomb Gaza and hit a Palestinian hospital?”. After Kyle furiously asks Cartman, “Why would my mom ever destroy a Palestinian hospital?!” and the latter replies, “Because… she’s Jewish?”, events take a turn.

Bunghole, you seem to have a deep seated hatred for people of a fair complexion. Here’s a description of Muhammad, your hero, from the earliest and most reliable Muslim sources (keep in mind he was a slave owner, including sex slaves):

Narrated Anas bin Malik: While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: “Who amongst you is Muhammad?” At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us (his companions) leaning on his arm. We replied, “This white man reclining on his arm.” He then addressed him, “O Son of ‘Abdul Muttalib.”…
Sahih Bukhari 1:3:63

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Dinar: My father said, “I heard Ibn ‘Umar reciting the poetic verses of Abu Talib: And a white (person) (i.e. the Prophet) who is requested to pray for rain and who takes care of the orphans and is the guardian of widows.” Salim’s father (Ibn ‘Umar) said, “The following poetic verse occurred to my mind while I was looking at the face of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) while he was praying for rain. He did not get down till the rain water flowed profusely from every roof-g utter: And a white (person) who is requested to pray for rain and who takes care of the orphans and is the guardian of widows . . . And these were the words of Abu Talib.”
Sahih Bukhari 2:17:122

Abu Tufail reported: I saw Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and there is one amongst the people of the earth who (are living at the present time and) had seen him except me. I said to him: How did you find him? He said: He had an elegant white color, and he was of an average height.

I have an allergic reaction to the pot calling the kettle black.

On “open pederasty”:

We’ve just spent the last decade watching the Jimmy Saville and Jeffery Epstein sagas spill out across our screens.

During this time, the old washed up old white crackheads that run your ‘civilization’ poured out of the rotten woodwork, exposed as pedos at every turn.

We saw how your media, your legal system, even your militaries closed ranks to protect these pedos in full view of the world.

In the end it turned out that the entire elite ruling class of the West are pedophiles and worse.

The world watched shocked as whites glorified, worshipped and voted in one pedo after another, as if the criterion for White leadership was a stint on Epstein island spent buggering kids in the ass.

Your leaders are the average of your civilization.

Facts.

Moreover, those ‘islamic’ regimes you point out are the same ones your Colonial rulers created.

Every last one of them.

And like their White Masters, they have adopted the same satanic cultural practices: mass murder, debauchery of the human spirit, pedophilia and child murder, industrialised slavery.

Take for example the open air slave markets of Libya:

They were not there under the Muslim leader Gaddafi.

Only after the white man came in with his Colonial R2P con, with their gangs of paid terrorists, did we have slavery return to the African continent for the first time since the white man closed his last slave operation.

Look in the mirror, and see the rotting corpse of a colonial face that you are, gringo.

@ Miss Lacy. Thanks, that is appreciated.

These topics are a difficult line to walk and still stay balanced, even more so now because of the increased void and contradiction:

US plans which Hamas say they have not received and “Israel” refuses, UN states increasing condemnation but still hardly any acting, coverage of Gaza reduced due to communications and displacements, harder to follow Hamas representation due to assassinations, cryptic moves by some neighbouring states, and still relentless bombing and shelling as well as military activity in west bank.

There is no sense from it except that what continues continues in a kind of darkness.

Sometimes I just have to step back and ponder from another angle, wherever I find more reason. I was hesitant to post even, as the themes are also controversial, but to keep some buoyancy and the topic turning …… thanks.

BTW Did Churchill deliberately starve to death 4 million Bengali‘s ?

Posted by: Exile | Sep 27 2025 7:00 utc |

The answer is Yes and No. Context is required. The Bengal Famine was 1943 in the middle of a war when Britain was fighting to survive. British civilians were on rations because the priority was feeding the soldiers.

So, one can say Yes in that Churchill put the British soldiers first and that made the Bengali Famine worse, but also No, because it was not an intentional decision to starve Indians but the result of an intentional decision in the midst of war to survive.

Also worth looking at the history of famines in India. They were common, until British colonial rule when the incidence of famine diminished.

Israel has admitted pathologists harvested organs from dead Palestinians, and others, without the consent of their families – a practice it said ended in the 1990s – it emerged at the weekend…..,

From New Left Review Sidecar article “In Genoa” by Marina Forti, Sept. 26

“A general strike erupted across Italy on Monday and some half a million people took to the streets in one of Europe’s largest mobilisations against the war on Gaza.
….
“Over the weekend, dock workers from across Europe and beyond – Marseilles, Athens, Tangier – are gathering in Genoa for the first international meeting of the newly formed Coordinamento Internazionale dei Portuali (International Port Workers’ Alliance). Convened by Italy’s USB union, and featuring delegates from various European, North African and Middle Eastern dockers’ unions, the two-day assembly aims to coordinate the effort to prevent weapons exports to Israel and strategize a response to the drone attacks on the flotilla. Dock workers are among the volunteers on board.

Entire passage is a quote from the article, so should have closing quote marks:

Dockworkers are among the volunteers on board (the flotilla).”

This is the Palestine thread about the most important issue of our time.

Can everyone engaged in unrelated private chatter be responsible and respectful enough to move their personal back and forth elsewhere.

What you are doing is inappropriate and offensive re the grave events in Palestine, to this blog and its host and to all of the people who come here to share on-topic information and thoughts.

Israel continues to make attempts at recruiting Palestinian families to spy on other Palestinians and to turn them away from resistance groups. When the families refuse to cooperate with Israel, the family home is bombed and the family killed.

Kan Hebrew Channel:

Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper: The Shin Bet security service has recently attempted to recruit influential figures from the Bakr and Dughmush clans in Gaza City as part of a plan to divide the Strip into areas controlled by clans or local armed groups, as part of an effort to weaken Hamas’s control.

– The Shin Bet offered these clans Israeli support if they engaged in confronting Hamas, in addition to providing Israel with security information without compensation, in exchange for guaranteeing them political influence in governing the Strip and preventing the establishment of a future Palestinian government.

– However, after these clans refused to participate in the plan, Israel launched airstrikes targeting inhabited and evacuated homes. The newspaper reported that more than 30 members of the Dughmush family were killed in a bombing that targeted the Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, while about 20 others are still trapped under the rubble.

– Later at dawn, a home of the Bakr family in the Al-Shati refugee camp was targeted, killing six and wounding 11 family members.

The Knesset is going ahead with its plans to simply execute any Palestinians in Israeli prisons whom the Israelis believe “committed attacks”. The first reading of this bill passed in committee.

Press release issued by the Prisoners’ Information Office

The Prisoners’ Information Office warns of the seriousness of the new steps and escalation approved by the so-called National Security Committee in the Knesset, which approved the first reading of a bill to execute perpetrators of attacks. This bill violates international norms and laws that guarantee the right of peoples to resist the occupation.

These steps constitute an official declaration of the occupation’s intention to legitimize the crimes of killing Palestinian prisoners under a false legal cover. They reveal the true criminal mentality that governs the political and military establishment of the occupying state, and clearly indicate the systematic targeting of prisoners’ lives, in flagrant violation of all international laws and conventions that criminalize the death penalty and consider it an inhumane punishment.

We, at the Prisoners’ Information Office, affirm that the approval of this bill poses a direct threat to the lives of thousands of prisoners who are already subjected to policies of slow execution through torture, starvation, and medical neglect. We hold the occupation fully responsible for its repercussions.

We call on international human rights and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action to halt this dangerous trend. We also appeal to the masses of our Palestinian people and its vital forces to unite in confronting this systematic crime against prisoners.

Of interest; it is apparently impossible now to keep track of the number of Palestinians who have starved to death. The last number given was over 450, but that was a week or ten days ago, and there are few (if any) hospitals functioning in Gaza now for the people to report the death of their loved ones. I did a brief search, and was amazed to see an entire article on wikipedia regarding the intentional famine/starvation of the Strip. The article is actually very complete and accurate as to the facts. I downloaded a PDF for myself, since wikipedia tends to be rewritten as soon as someone realizes the truth is being broadcast.

The link is below, and there are tools to print or download the entire article in the upper right-hand corner of the page:

I’m hardly sleeping anymore. It’s so hard to face that I am living amongst such people and that they still lay claim to being humans. Feels like we are in a spiral downwards into hell.

The answer is Yes and No. Context is required. The Bengal Famine was 1943 in the middle of a war when Britain was fighting to survive. British civilians were on rations because the priority was feeding the soldiers.

Obviously bullshit.

If your logic was correct, British civilians would have starved to death alongside the Bengalis.

The fact is that British Imperial projects sacrifice the enslaved ahead of British elites and their direct ethnic relatives.
We saw it with the Irish famine.
Try again, liar.
