I wonder if the Europeans will be stupid enough to attack Belarus. First France telling its hospitals to prepare for casualties then Germany doing the same, then the propaganda about drones and airspace violations.

A couple of “he blinked” anecdotes of Erika Kirk, for comparison. This one appeared in an “emotional” NYT interview:

His eyes were semi-open and he had this knowing, Mona Lisa-like half-smile. Like he’d died happy. Like Jesus rescued him. The bullet came, he blinked, and he was in heaven.

A few days later, from the podium of a memorial thoroughly draped in glitz:

I also saw on his lips the faintest smile, and that told me something important. It revealed to me a great mercy from God in this tragedy. When I saw that, it told me Charlie didn’t suffer. Even the doctor told me it was something so instant that even if Charlie had been shot in the operating room itself, nothing could have been done. There was no fear, no agony. One moment, Charlie was doing what he loved, arguing and debating on campus, fighting for the gospel, the truth in front of a big crowd, and then he blinked. He blinked and saw his Savior in paradise, and all the heavenly mysteries were revealed to him.

Erika consoles herself that her friends and associates, Charlie’s assassins inside TPUSA, did such a painless, professional job.

OK, fine. But what about those fleeing unsafe countries?
Surely you’re not against protections for such people?

Posted by: George the Zeroth | Sep 25 2025 23:42 utc | 182

Firstly, a lot of those claiming to be from unsafe countries are not in fact, they are just saying that and have no way to prove it.
Secondly, many of those unsafe countries are the result of Western interventions – we can stop doing that straight away.
Thirdly, the protections have been massively expanded by ostensibly well-meaning groups placing far too many obligations on the receiving countries – so much s that they are advantaged over and above the indigenous citizens.
Fourthly, mass immigration is about cheap labour. Always has been, always will be. All of these legal constraints are created by our lawmakers – lawmakers highly susceptible to lobbying from the oligarch class.

Those laws can and must be remade if the current elites wish to retain their status.

Some might claim that my first three points are an unfortunate confluence of circumstances, others might see point four as the driver for the ‘coincidental’ effects of the first three. Either way it is becoming unsustainable.

George the Zeroth @187:

I will concede that, so far as I can tell, the latter condition—supporting Trump’s policies—does not necessarily make one “MAGA” (or should that be “a MAGA? I’m not clear on that fine point). In other words, “MAGA” is the obverse of “TDS”, both of them being fairly meaningless insults often slung around in Intertube discussions such as occur here at the bar. So I’m going to avoid the use of “MAGA” here.

“MAGA is the obverse of TDS”

I have pointed out repeatedly that TDS is a mental disorder, so what does this mean? That “a MAGA” is a model of cognitive and emotional health?

“I’m not clear on that fine point”

You’re the one who used the term, but then you have a mental disorder so using terms you are not clear on comes with the territory, I suppose. You are the victim of a media-implanted program running in your head like a computer virus, and it causes you to feel and say things you don’t understand. That is a mental illness exactly like a biological virus could cause a physical illness.

“…both of them being fairly meaningless insults…”

So you use “MAGA” as a meaningless insult, which is exactly what I pointed out that a TDS victim would do. TDS, on the other hand, is not a meaningless insult. I have defined it repeatedly; detailed its origins, enumerated is symptoms, and provided copious examples in this thread and over the months since the disease has become an obvious culture-wide phenomenon. You have admitted that you cannot define what “a MAGA” is or sounds like yet you use the term as a pejorative anyway. Is that rational? No, it is not rational and is an indication that you are not in control of your own mind. Your mind is under the control of an outside influence (mass media implanted mind virus – mass marketing induced megatrend, like pet rocks or Beanie Babies, only more sinister and political).

TDS is a Mass Psychogenic Illness, exactly like hysteria over witches in prior times with the main difference being in the method of transmission. While the witch hysterias were propagated from preacher’s pulpits, the transmission of TDS is greatly modernized and is distributed through multiple channels, or vectors. All forms of corporate media, from talk shows to movies to music to social media astroturf to legacy newspapers to university classrooms and workplace training seminars take part in infecting the population with TDS. This is also why TDS is more prevalent among demographics that are more credulous of mass media, are more likely to have jobs in workplaces hosting seminars aimed at modifying behavior, and have more recent university indoctrination. Furthermore, this is also why we have seen budget-breaking pushback against entertainment media with heavy-handed “woke” messaging in recent years, with Disney and the Beeb being heavily hit and monster budget AAA game studios closing down (Sony is taking a thrashing since moving their media headquarters to California).

Aside: “woke” and “Trump Derangement Syndrome” are intertwined as both are products and consequences of interlinked delusion.

“So I’m going to avoid the use of “MAGA” here”

Need I remind you you’re the one who invoked the term? And you admitted you used it as a meaningless insult? Your tribal affiliations are thus clear, and your mental condition is understood.

Macron, Javier and Gianni Infantino (FIFA president) are given the “Global Citizen Award” by their boss, BlackRock CEO Laurence Fink.

Here, “Citizen” does not mean us plebs or joe-public, but vassals / servants of power.

The 2025 Global Citizen Awards: Honoring three leaders shaping the global future
https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/new-atlanticist/the-2025-global-citizen-awards-honoring-three-leaders-shaping-the-global-future/

“From the first step on the red carpet to the final note of the closing performance, the 2025 Global Citizen Awards lit up New York on Wednesday night as the must-attend event of the week. Some seven hundred leaders, dignitaries, changemakers, and celebrities filled the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan for the Atlantic Council’s flagship annual event on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

The point of the evening, Atlantic Council Chairman John F.W. Rogers explained, was to recognize and honor three global leaders “who have taken up the call to serve a purpose greater than oneself.” Those honorees were Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) President Gianni Infantino, Argentinian President Javier Milei, and French President Emmanuel Macron. Each one, Rogers said, exemplifies a dedication to duty, and the character and contributions of each have “transcended the obligations of their own circumstances.” “

Australia’s political class has been all but sold-out to foreign capital and empire for many years. The Liberals (equivalent to Tories/Republicans in other lands) have always been keen to please the empires masters in the UK and USA since their inception. However, the current opposition leader, Sussan Ley takes it to a new low of prostration.

Ley writes to Republicans vowing to revoke Palestine recognition ahead of Albanese’s UN address.

“Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has taken the unorthodox step of writing to United States Republicans to reassure the Congress members that a Coalition government would withdraw recognition of a Palestinian state.

The letter was dispatched ahead of a major address by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to the United Nations, where he told the international community why Australia was recognising a Palestinian state.”

TDS, MAGA, Woke.
Woke and TDS more often than not go hand in hand. And anyone who does not believe in child grooming is MAGA.

Basically progressive vs conservative. In the US, conservatives could be split between the christian zionists and the non zionists.

Progressives though have taken on the gender religion. Several other aspects to it like unlimited and undocumented immigration. I guess the two go hand in hand as the progressives have virtually stopped breeding and would quickly die out so they need massive immigration to replace them.

I saw the fertility rate for women the other day and it is now 1.4. I guess a mathemation could work it out to what year the Aboriginals would again have Australia to themselves if not for constant and high immigration.

Progressive/woke, it is a death cult. Extinction of the species.

The definition of conservative has become very broad, while the definition of progressive has become incredibly narrow. I know many people who identify as conservative who would have practically been socialists half a century ago. I would say contemporary conservatives are people who believe there is such a thing as objective reality, while modern progressives believe reality is conditional on their feelings.

When my children were very young, we had a tv. I worked ong hours and would come home and wife and kids were all glued to the tv. Effin zombies. Came home at 9pm one day, no meal kept war on the stove or ready to warm up and their eyeballs were stuck to the tv screen with superglue. Asked my wife to make me some dinner I had left at 5am – and she said hang on, I’ll just watch this. I pulled the plug out of the wall, swung the thing over my head by the cord and smashed it on the floor. After that the kids would be doing things, if daylight outside playing, building something, tree house or whatever, and after dark in the house playing or fighting and arguing or whatever but at least they were doing something.

My daughters daughter, if she wasn’t allowed to watch something on the phone would throw tantrums and carry. If daughter wanted to keep her occupied while doing something she would hand her daughter the phone.

That ban on kids on social media is a good thing. Children are completely different when there is no tv let alone todays social media. Like normal children. Are normal children.

Early revolution communism did I think come under the term progressive. Some of the theoretical in those times great leaps forward turned out to be Wiley E Coyote great leaps out over the canyon.

So you can have conservative socialist or conservative capitalists.
The progressives more often than not, are capitalist and often have few socialism policies. The might have welfare state to and extent, but to me a socialist government embarks on infrastructure build, nationalizing critical assets and that sort of thing, and that goes alongside and supports private enterprise.
Russia is conservative socialist and so is China. Providing work rather than the dole.

They are not on the same spectrum. I have no idea what kind of literature you read on the topic, but it clearly wasn’t the many meanderings about this topic I gave on MoA over the years.

Let’s shape the battlefield.

“Opposites” is common parlance and I suggest we leave it at that until the main issue is solved. Orthogonality transports the idea perfectly.

Literature about Manichaeism suffers from the fact that all seven books Mani wrote himself are lost, and it was not until the early 20th century that some text by actual disciples became available for scientific evaluation. This means that most of what you find in public is informed by earlier writings of Mani’s enemies, and they tend to misrepresent this crucial issue.

Because I am not an actual scholar in the field I may not have all the references handy, though of course I shall be obliged to dig them up when necessary.

Also, there is a dinner party at my home tonight, and people are already preparing the place, so my replies might lag for a bit (you are not invited, sorry about that).

An Essay on Xi Jinping’s Global Governance Initiative

Washington, London, Paris, and Brussels strutted the world like schoolyard bullies, throwing threats and insults around. They gave themselves the authority to determine who must rule one country or the order. Their cries of “Assad must go!” “Gaddafi must go!” rent the air. The arrogance!

The crowning insult was the hubris of the so-called “unipolar moment”—the fantasy that the United States could reign supreme forever. Analysts with foresight like my favorite military strategy guru, Russian-born Andrei Martyanov, wrote four books and numerous blog posts to warn his adopted country, the US, that it was losing the military to the Russians. Of course, US Army Generals with their chests puffing with medals won from “victories” over inferior third-world armies paid no attention.

That arrogance has now detonated in their faces over their misadventure in Ukraine where Russia, single-handedly, handed a humiliating defeat to the Collective West and its expeditionary force, NATO.

*** It would seem a fairer, more targeted and cheaper solution than forcing ID cards onto the already valid citizens. ***

Indeed it would, but “illegal immigration” is just an excuse for forcing ID cards (physical or digital) on everyone — from the rise of Blair onwards, such imposition has been touted under a variety of excuses.
It would do near enough zero with regard to stopping illegal immigration, which is in any case facilitated by the Establishment’s own so-called intelligence services and profiteers for their own purposes.
Those who misrule never admit the real motive for wanting to introduce such ID-cards is enablement of digital-money / banking, more intensive surveillance and tracking, plus of course a ready means of punitive ‘cancellation’ of UK citizens.

Posted by: Cynic | Sep 26 2025 14:34 utc | 237

From Craig Murray’s blog, about the English PM’s ID cards.

“The government will be able to garner and centralise knowledge of everything about you. Every detail of your financial transactions, your DNA, your family, your medical records, your education, employment and accommodation. It will be a very short time before the digital ID is linked to your social media accounts and your IP access to monitor your browsing.

There is already the intention to control us through our access to financial services. I have spoken with one of the women charged for protesting outside the Leonardo factory in Edinburgh. She has had her bank accounts cancelled – simply losing the money in them – and cannot open a new account. You may recall they tried to debank Nigel Farage. The campaign to defend Julian Assange suffered multiple banking cancellations.

The desire of the state to control people politically through their ability to carry out ordinary transactions is not in doubt. It is demonstrated. Once you have a compulsory digital ID linked to transactions – which will follow very swiftly, I am quite certain – they will be able to simply switch off your ability to pay for anything. Add this to a digital currency which tracks all of your expenditure – all the key elements of which are already installed – and total control will be in place.”

This looks like an internet-sleuth groundswell: people are increasingly convinced that we can see the murder weapon in the fatal freeze-frame: a little puff of smoke, right over Kirk’s lavalier lapel-microphone. Like much of what “Israel” does, the crime is so outlandish, so satanically ingenious, as to strain credulity. But at some point we’re forced to believe our eyes. We can’t think of another explanation for that little puff of smoke.

The Tyler Robinson rooftop sniper hoax is crumbling after video evidence showing Israel’s signature exploding lavalier mic blasting Charlie Kirk’s throat, with accomplices snatching the bomb and detonator like pros in a heist. These Mossad monsters, fresh off their pager terrorism, think they can off Americans and have our puppet FBI bury it like JFK—but we’re ripping the veil off this demonic plot, patriots, so lock and load for the truth bomb that’s going to make these pedo-perps pay.

And no, I am not inviting a discussion about the chemical properties of diethyl ether just because I mentioned ethereal. Common usage, OK?

English is wonderfully pragmatic, but much of its allure comes from it being the current lingua franca in many parts of the world. It does Shakespeare, modern science and all aspects of common discourse in a fairly simple way, yet not without subtlety. Because of its reduced grammar when compared to other indo-germanic languages, it relies on fixed expressions for many things f.i. German can express without resorting to such – things like “someone is left holding the bag” etc. – so one may say that English is strong partly because it’s vibrant.

German grammar is weaker than ancient Greek, Sanskrit or Russian for that matter, but it does a good compromise regarding practicality especially when it comes to logical interrelations of ideas; hence it is so powerful as a language of philosophy. A strong suite is its feature to build composite words, such as Bundeskanzleramt (chancellory). The huge influx of latin words is a mixed blessing – the Germanics did well in adapting them and expand their reservoir of meaning, but at the same time this process was forced through church indoctrination, which has led to some rather brutal losses of original meaning, such as in Ding/Sache becoming pragmatically identical to objekt. The now missing aspect of meaning leads to all kinds of phantom limb like pains, which are generally not realized by speakers. There was an attempt to salvage the problem early on after Latin lost its status as lingua franca, but the proposed terminus technicus for “object”, Gegenstand, became part of the absorption process which also suckered in Ding and Sache. However, Gegenstand is now a vital word in modern philosophy, and I keep struggling to translate its consequences into English.

No. The idea behind this is just too intriguing to forego, methinks. You may want to just discard Manicheaism into the dustbin of history, but it doesn’t do it justice. It is a topic I have written about before, taking instance with Alastair Crooke’s use of it at various points for example, so I shall stay coherent. Other than that, I think we found the root issue of our current altercation.

In an isolated market I guess things are a bit different. The Taiwan chip company, they have been exporting to a global market, the problems they had in the US, skilled labour to build the factory, skilled labour to work in the factory, and supply chaines. Theres the Korean company, skilled labour brought in to build a factory deported by ICE. I think there was also another. Like Apple trying to get its phones built in India instead of China.

We have all seen how US eighties military equipment compares to Russia’s stuff. In the high teck gear, the missiles, both defence and offence, there is simply no comparison.

AI is certainly the coming thing and Nvidia does hold a lead in that. The chips/wafers is not the issue. It seems programing – setting up the operating system to make those connected wafers all function as one is the hard part. In that respect, Nvidia has had two decades of ironing out bugs and that is where Nvida takes the lead.
Russia though has a different system of programing and it seems China does also, so will be interesting to see how things develop.

The Tyler Robinson rooftop sniper hoax is crumbling after video evidence showing Israel’s signature exploding lavalier mic blasting Charlie Kirk’s throat, with accomplices snatching the bomb and detonator like pros in a heist. These Mossad monsters, fresh off their pager terrorism, think they can off Americans and have our puppet FBI bury it like JFK—but we’re ripping the veil off this demonic plot, patriots, so lock and load for the truth bomb that’s going to make these pedo-perps pay.

https://beforeitsnews.com/agriculture/2025/09/srew-peters-mic-drop-kirk-assassinated-by-weaponized-lavalier-video-2458662.html

Curiouser and curiouser. I was at first thinking remote controlled local gun synced with rifle sound generated from the roof. But exploding microphone synced with rifle sound from the roof is equally plausible with the ‘added benefit’ of resembling the pager terrorism (and we know who did that).

There was a whole assassination team involved. Can they contain it?

Seer, You seem to have got your knickers in a knot when I wrote about the problems very high tech Asian companies had in setting up in the US.

Just in low tech stuff, it was very real ten years ago. Longer actually. I started selling lathe and milling machine tooling on ebay. I bought mostly from the one factory and would test everything to destruction, testing against both American and European brand names. Sometimes there was little difference, other times, the Chinese stuff was simply higer quality. That factory also had better quality control that the over priced American and European brands.
It surprised me. Sandvik – not sure who owned that name at the time as names are bought and sold, but a bloke rung me and said as soon as a $180 tool had touched the work it had broke. I went down and had a look at it and just piss poor quality control in the heat treatment. They would not replace it so that was when he rung me.

The $180 tool, I sold him a replacement for $25. He was running them in a CNC and the only time he fucked them was when he had messed up on his program and crashed it. It was the same with the carbide inserts.n The Sandvik rep had advised and sold him shit for what the machine was doing. I cut his tooling costs by 70 – 80%.

That is the defence between asia and America. Workshop tools, yeah don’t get me wrong, US makes some good niche stuff. More often than not small companies.

The cover up of US involvement in Nepal’s coup begins.

“US-installed regime in Nepal begins erasing evidence of US-backing…

Om Prakash Aryal belonged to a US government-funded organization and engaged in subversion in Nepal for years. He has now been brought into the “interim” gov in Nepal following US-sponsored regime change.

His ties to his own US gov-funded org are now being erased to cover up evidence of US involvement.

This is very typical of US NED-funded traitors – deny US-backing, excuse US-backing, try to cover up US-backing…”

Womens fertility rate in Australia is 1.4. Sustainability is at the minimum 2.1 . There needs to be at least two reproducing children per couples, but at 1.4, how many are needed. Two women and omne man would give 2.8 children per three adults, therefore three wives are required. That would ben four adults and 3 times 1.4, that gives 4.2. Spot on.

About the terms MAGA and TDS and how they are used? MAGA means Trump worshipper, and that means somebody who seeks salvation from a billionaire who they arbitrarily claim is going to take America back to whatever particular imaginary paradise lost the cultist suffers from. Nobody knows when America stopped being great. And you can’t get MAGA weasels to answer the question. Some people like to pretend the work conservative means somebody who is cautious and believes in reality, but that’s self-serving BS. In those senses you can talk about conservative Communists! Political conservatives are willing to trash the Constitution and engage in Liberation Day, disregarding prudence, pretending that reality can be decreed if their God does it. If their God says something flagrantly untrue, they deny reality to excuse Him.

But everybody knows such a use of the word conservative is just provocative, blather meant to divert boredom or attention by oxymorons and other word games. Conservative means class solidarity with the ruling class. They like to say they do this because the world will basically end if the wicked opponents win, that society will crumble into a carnival of sin. The asshole ranting about child grooming covers up his subservience to the ruling class by pretending his preferred ruling class champion will save the world, society by ending the child grooming, somehow, although they never stopped it before. MAGAs are dishonest or stupid, which is a terrible dilemma for them…but it is self-inflicted. It is the MAGA commitment to blatant nonsense, if uttered by their tin God, that makes them contemptible.

The problem with political conservatism is that it lies and says the status quo is sacred. The historical record says otherwise. Political conservatives were the people who truly believed that if the Pope was defied, then they would go to hell. Political conservatives truly believes that if there was no king then their world would becomes a living hell. Political conservatives truly believed their freedom meant the right to own men and it was tyranny if their freedom was infringed. It is a sign of moral degeneracy when someone openly confesses to being a political conservative. And it is a sign of social decay when political conservatives are powerful.

TDS means anti-Trump. There is a whole litany of supposed thought crimes to be due to TDS, like believing in the Steele dossier. But the thing is, in the mouths of MAGA freaks, just saying TDS magically means the target is presumed guilty…and protestations by the target that they don’t in fact believe this or that are irrelevant. The reason is simply: TDS means anti-Trump. Being anti-Trump was why the smear was applied in the first place and the target is manifestly guilty of being ant-Trump. That’s why the cultist responds with the smear TDS.

Woke? No one knows for sure what woke means. There seems to be a tendency in ordinary speech to use woke as if it is a replacement for the word cant. In long ago times, cant in particular was used of vacuous but seemingly endless moralizing by preachers, especially those suspected of not practicing what they preach. Thus, a person attacking another over their use of pronouns might be imagined as what woke means. Except that’s the sort of thing that political conservatives do when they are offended by someone saying something good about PRC. You can’t define woke as virtue signaling without including the demand to wear an American flag lapel pin.

TDS is merely an insult. As an ad hominem argument, it is almost always fallacious. And it immediately shows the intellectual bankruptcy of the one who uses it. On the other hand, the acronym MAGA is a self label, taken up with the hat. But it’s a meaningless label, a deceit in itself. It is a self-condemnation.

That’s why they want everyone’s kids to become trannies, `cuz trannies don’t reproduce.

“Moms and dads, get your children spay/neutered! They will be happier as sexual nulls, will stay child-like forever, will be less likely to leave the yard, and won’t piss on the carpet! Win-win!”
