When I saw first mention of it by the Russian bloke, I immediately though modus operandi. Looks like the dying empire will go down with all guns blazing. I have mentioned before that we are in another Roaring 20’s phase like last century and this will not end well either for the West but it will launch a century of China/Russia axis rise, IMO…not that I will be around to see it. Other webpages on this subject have this quality, for some strange reason. What’s up with Erika? Did Charlie and Erika first meet in Israel? What does her hand-signal mean, while hugging DJT at the memorial? Did Erika ever work with Trump’s beauty-pageant enterprise? Is she hobbled by too much polish to accomodate authentic emotion? I shouldn’t go with my gut instinct, or maybe I should, but something about Erika is starting to bother me, and it’s spelled “autopsy.” The grieving widow would be in charge of making sure a thorough autopsy is performed, one which could instantly dismiss serious doubts about what kind of bullet, from which direction, killed Charlie, before the body is buried. That work is more than a week old now. With every day that passes, my skepticism about Erika doubles. Keeping this secret is not a very nice or Christian trick to play on USA, imho. “Woke” is a joke because those who would self-identify as such are no more awakened to obscured truths than they are to true buddha-nature. What does “a MAGA” sound like? Because I can definitely tell you what “a woke” victim of TDS sounds like, and they use “MAGA” as pejorative countable noun, in the way they and their secret hero Shrillary Clinton used to call the same people “deplorables”. Peter AU1 also provided examples, to which I will add “Men can too get pregnant!!” [said with borderline shrill hysteria], and “Dylan Mulvaney is soooo stunning and brave!!” [said with breathy fervency]. Anyway, your use of “a MAGA” as a pejorative clearly marks you as a TDS victim. They may hate to openly admit this, but America is slowly trying to put a chokehold on China’s oil supplies by conquering Iraq, Libya, South Sudan and, soon, Iran. America is already stirring up trouble in South China Sea.’ Posted by: denk | Sep 25 2025 13:18 utc | 124 Recommended: The UN is going the way of the League of Nations in the 1930s: unable to stop the imperialist powers from starting wars, it loses all purpose. 1. The UN at 80: ignored and irrelevant, by Michael Roberts Exc: The 80th edition of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80) opened yesterday in New York. The theme this year is: ‘Better together: 80 years and more for peace, development and human rights’, highlighting the urgency of delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reinvigorating ‘global cooperation’. When the United Nations was born in San Francisco on June 26, 1945, the overriding goal of the 50 participants who signed the UN Charter was stated in its first words: “to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war.” One of the UN’s earliest achievements was to agree on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, outlining global standards for human rights. “The UN was created not to lead mankind to heaven,” said Dag Hammarskjold, UN secretary general, “but to save humanity from hell.” 80 years later, the current secretary-general Antonio Guterres cannot have such ambitious aspirations. “Guterres does say quite bold things. But he is now dismissed as on the sidelines and not a player,” says Mark Malloch-Brown, a former head of the UN Development Programme who was also deputy secretary-general under Kofi Annan in 2006. “The briefing room in Kofi’s day brimmed with journalists. Now it’s more mausoleum than press room.” The demise of the United Nations mirrors the decline of all the international institutions formed by the agreement of the major powers who won the Second World War, when they met at Bretton Woods, US. The IMF, the World Bank, the UN and later the World Trade Organisation were international agencies set up supposedly to support nations in financial crisis, help end global poverty, achieve equitable trade; and avoid wars. But that was always an illusion. These agencies were really formed to work under the hegemonic leadership of the US, backed by its junior partners in the top capitalist economies. They were institutions of post-war ‘Pax Americana’. As Sigrid Kaag, a former deputy prime minister of the Netherlands who has had several roles at the UN, including as special co-ordinator of the Middle East peace process, put it. “The UN is at a point of irrelevance. That is its predicament. The dream might live on, but no one looks at the news and says: ‘What happened in the UN?” The failure of the UN is the organisational symbol of the failure of capitalism to unite people and states to end poverty globally, stop global warming and environmental collapse and prevent continual and unending wars. Mark Malloch-Brown, a former head of the UN Development Programme who was also deputy secretary-general under Kofi Annan in 2006 summed it up: “In many ways the UN is the walking dead,” he says. “It never quite falls over and yet it is still a corpse.” https://braveneweurope.com/michael-roberts-the-un-at-80-ignored-and-irrelevant 2. Worldmaking in Transition: Africa and the Post-Western Global Order Exc: For African countries, the central challenge is not choosing between Beijing and Washington. Rather, the key question is how, and on what terms, they can contribute to reimagining a world in which they don’t get reduced to their natural resources, human capital or (easy) votes in multilateral forums, but are recognised as partners with genuine strategic autonomy (understood not as passive neutrality, but as active non-alignment). I suppose Dessalines still classed those white Europeans as settlers, and he was afraid that after declaring Haitian Independence in 1804, that white settlers and the empirical colonialists (who could’ve return in numbers) might try to undo Haitian independence – people who have suffered hard from slavery for a long time, when released from their bondage, can often take revenge, the leading French colonisers Rochambeau and Leclerc were brutal masters to the Haitian slaves – I think some Poles and Germans were spared execution, but yes the Haitians killed many Europeans, especially the French. According to reports, Washington has expressed its readiness to provide the Lebanese Army with full support, including equipment, intelligence, coordinates, and even air cover, while also facilitating indirect coordination between the Lebanese Army and Israeli forces to target Hezbollah’s suspected military sites. These developments reveal alarming details about discussions between American, Israeli, and Syrian officials regarding a potential large-scale offensive, backed by the U.S. to seize territories in northern and eastern Beqaa believed to contain the resistance’s missile infrastructure. These reports echo recent statements by U.S. envoy to Lebanon Thomas Barrack, who suggested that the Lebanese Army should be tasked with disarming the resistance, even if such a step risks triggering a civil war. The reports also further indicate potential coordination with Syria in any operation targeting the Beqaa and the resistance, reflecting Barrack’s earlier remarks advocating for placing parts of Lebanon under Syrian control. These statements highlight an American-Israeli strategy that risks not only pushing Lebanon toward a confrontation between its army and the resistance, but also inflaming sectarian tensions, particularly along Sunni-Shia lines, with potentially destabilizing consequences for the country and the wider region.” Posted by: Republicofscotland | Sep 25 2025 16:27 utc | 146 Brit PM Starmer to announce Friday (tomorrow) that all folk in Britain will need a ID card – it will be called the BritCard – its being issued under the guise of spotting illegal immigrants, he can shove his BritCard where the sun doesn’t shine. With the Kurk shooting, I had also started wondering if any video can be trusted anymore. AI created videos or enhanced videos is becoming very good now. If its just one small enhancement in a video, it would be that good now that it would be impossible to spot as AI. Larry Johnson, in an article linked at the Ukraine thread, wrote that he saw it as an intel op due to the number of red herrings that have appeared. The likes of CIA and Mossad would no doubt have access to the very best image generating AI. Johnson – “Creating a number of false stories and false leads is something that an intelligence organization does in order to misdirect a law enforcement investigation. Frankly, we witnessed the same phenomena with the failed assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania in July 2024.” The ICE shooter that supposedly shot himself on the roof – I posted a link to the only image I have seen so far, a set of three in the one image, two of the body, one of him alive. I haven’t really looked more images of the body so that is all I’ve seen. It was sometime after linking the image here, I went back and had a look at the images of the body, perhaps two frames from a video. There was a fair bit about hem that struck me as odd. They had been cropped and either the photos or the camera had been tipped over perhaps 35 to 40 degrees. That was very odd. Then the photos themselves were a bit grainy and different colour shades. One would expect the unused clip be close to the body but I could not see it in the cropped photos so it was not close to the body. The clip had drops of water on it and the concrete was very wet from rain. The photos of the body did show some wet patches on what looked to be a concrete roof but there was also dry patches, so it had been sometime since it had rained. All very odd. Posted by: ChatNPC | Sep 25 2025 19:42 utc | 166 OK, after yet another annoying “TDS” posting by W. Gruff, it’s time to address this issue, and hopefully demolish it once and for all. So get ready for a rather long post. Grab your drink. Gruff’s repetitive use of this pejorative term shows that he believes this is binary condition: either one suffers from “TDS” (and is also “woke” and completely buys the whole “left”/”Democratic” agenda), or one is not and therefore fully supports Trump. There are no shades of gray here. I will concede that, so far as I can tell, the latter condition—supporting Trump’s policies—does not necessarily make one “MAGA” (or should that be “a MAGA? I’m not clear on that fine point). In other words, “MAGA” is the obverse of “TDS”, both of them being fairly meaningless insults often slung around in Intertube discussions such as occur here at the bar. So I’m going to avoid the use of “MAGA” here. But let’s look at “TDS” (“Trump derangement syndrome” for any barflies who may have been living under a rock). This indicates that the sufferer blames the totality of the US’s current domestic political crises on Trump, believes that Trump fraudulently stole the 2016 election with the help of the Russkis, and basically that he’s the source of all evil in the world. Right, Bill? Furthermore, TDS means that the sufferer believes everything they read in the New York Times, WaPo, et al, about the above; that they still believe this despite all the evidence to the contrary; that they still believe that the Steele Dossier has not been discredited. Again, keep in mind that this is a totally binary condition; either you believe all of this stuff or none of it. Well, I’m here to tell you that it just ain’t so. Take me, f’rinstance: But I don’t at all buy into the TDS articles of faith. I think the whole charade of investigations and impeachments and lawfare unleashed against him in his first term was simply a hatchet job initiated and orchestrated by the DNC; that Hilary lost the election all on her own, hoist on her own petard after the Wikileaks revelations of how they threw Bernie Sanders under the bus; and most importantly, that the Wikileaks release was a leak, not a hack. Meaning that the Russkis really had nothing to do with it. (Yes, there was some Russian interference in the 2016 election, at least attempted interference—and certainly nothing that rose to the level of actual tampering with election results—but it didn’t amount to anything more than noise, statistically speaking.) And the 2024 election? What a joke! And I’m talking about the Democratic side; the shenanigans pulled by the White House to try to pull the wool over our eyes that Joe Biden was really “sharp as a tack” and that all those videos seen by our lying eyes were just “cheap fakes”. Give me a fucking break. Now does that sound like someone sufferering from TDS? And hey, I’m even willing to give credit where credit is due, although now that I think of it, what is there really to give Trump credit for? I was going to write that he at least was attempting to extricate us from the proxy war in Ukraine, but that’s been pretty much demolished by his latest statements on the matter. (I should point out here that it’s an extremely grave error to pay any attention to what he says: what we should focus on is what he actually does.) And then there’s the matter of the belief that all these crazy pronouncements and policy zig-zags and U-turns are signs that the guy is a master 5-D chess player. I’m not going to follow that one any further; suffice it to say that this is ridiculous just on its face. (Not that he’s an absolute dummy or a total idiot, which is what “TDS” would mean.) So please, Gruff, Brennan et al; spare us the snarky comebacks and put-downs. Obviously what Trump does is of extreme significance for the next few years, and we should absolutely be paying attention to it. But puleeze, don’t let’s scrap over what his intentions may or may not be. It’s just not a useful way of looking at the world geopolitically, as I believe we barflies are wont to do. Posted by: ChatNPC | Sep 25 2025 23:15 utc | 180 I left something out in my anti-TDS screed above: I admitted there that, to some extent, TDS is real; the die-hard Democrats who still believe all the “Russiagate” bullshit surely suffer from it. I forgot to say that I think that to the extent that TDS does exist, it was (and is) one of the factors in the provocations by the US that led to the start of the SMO in 2022. The same folks who are delusional about Trump I and “Russia! Russia! Russia!” are the ones who stood on the sidelines and cheered as we successfully goaded VVP into invading. But just to be clear, that still does not mean that anyone who finds fault with Trump, especially on geopolitical issues, is a victim of TDS. Just wanted to clarify that. But question: how would that even work? Because many immigrants don’t come in through official entry points where they can be issued cards, so they won’t have one. Then you’re in the same old situation where they (the immigration authorities) feel compelled to use racial profiling and other bad practices. You accused Peter AU1 of sounding like one, so you must know what one sounds like, right? You also made the claim suggesting that sounding like “a MAGA” is something that is undesirable… a pejorative, in other words. Anyway, MAGA people and TDS victims are not Manichean opposites. They are completely orthogonal. TDS victims are people with a mental illness (like you) while “a MAGA” is simply a substitute label for what you would otherwise call “deplorables” or “Nazis” or “boogeymen”… basically shorthand for “people I irrationally hate”. See the difference? You cannot openly define “MAGAs because at the term’s core it just references your hate. On the other hand I do not hate TDS victims. They are tragically diseased people deserving pity, like Down Syndrome victims. Like the obese woman who is convinced by modern marketing that Cheetos will fill the void in her life so she consumes them by the truckload, you are likewise convinced of a counterfactual by modern marketing embedded in the mass media that you consume mass quantities of. It has the same effect on your mind that the Cheetos do on the poor obese woman’s body. Its effect is just as obvious too. How do you figure that I, someone who totally dismisses Russiagate, was horrified by the 2024 election on the Dem’s side, calls Biden “Genocide Joe” and sees all the lawfare practiced by Trumps opponents over the last few year as nothing but partisan payback—how do you figure that spells “TDS”? To him China is an economic threat to the US. He hates socialists – Venezuela, and he hates Iran for embarrassing the US with the embassy hostage thing. On top of that he is a Zionist. As for bringing manufacturing back to America? Due to what America is – the depth of corruption and corporate interests, I guess the only way he can do it is break the global supply chains. Will US survive – thats anybody’s guess. But the tariffs are breaking the supply chains and at the same time bringing in some revenue. He has elements which are good, elements which are bad and others are just very risky, some crazy. After thirty years of hubris, the US was headed for a cliff at a hundred miles and hour, but structurally and culturally, the US is almost impossible to stop or turn in a new direction.
