Russia to hold its own cringe worthy EU version called – Intervision Song Contest.
” Indian actress Stefy Patel and Chinese TV presenter Meng Lei will be the international hosts of the Intervision music contest in Moscow”
One political musical shit show is enough, now we’ll have two.

France is in the firing line from the Zio-Monsters terrorists.
“After Netanyahu threatened Macron with strong response following the incoming recognition of a Palestinian state, ISIS (Daesh) called for attacks in France, in “retaliation for the war in Gaza, to kill Christians and Jews by all means possible”.”

Well, why not.

Companies need foreign workers to do the jobs that Americans don’t want to do – if the companies can’t find those workers, well I we know what will happen to those companies, at the very least they’ll down size.
“President Trump raises the H-1B Visa fee from $1,000 to *$100,000,* and directs the Secretary of Labor to revise the wage rules to make it much harder for companies to hire foreigners in replacement of American workers”

Drugs are US: History of drug trade and its use in grabbing power
Alan McLeod gives a very long and informative account of how empires and their regional mafias use the cocaine and opium trade to enhance and sustain power, focusing on the latest fairy tale which accuses Venezuela of being the worst druggie in the world.
A U.N. report shreds that lie, followed by the DEA basically agreeing:
“The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s own 2025 National Drug Threat Assessment report essentially agrees with the U.N. Indeed, the 90-page document touches on Venezuela in only two paragraphs on a single page—a clear indicator of the threat posed by the Caribbean nation to the U.S.”
Little Marco- aka, Little Narco– is in charge this time, hooking up with spoiled billionaire kid Daniel Noboa:
“A recent investigation from Colombian magazine, Revista Raya, found that Noboa banana boats were being used to transport vast quantities of cocaine around the world. At just one port in Ecuador, police seized 700 kilograms of cocaine from Noboa family ships.
Yet, unlike Maduro, Noboa is a key U.S. ally and has ensured, when governing, to prioritize Washington’s interests above all.
These connections are unlikely to trouble Rubio, whose own family is deeply intertwined with the world of drug smuggling. Rubio’s brother-in-law, Orlando Cicilia, is a former drug runner who served 12 years in a Florida prison for crimes related to the smuggling and distribution of cocaine. Rubio maintains a close relationship with Cicilia; after the latter’s release from prison, he used his political position to pressure a Florida regulator to grant him a real estate license. Across much of Latin America, the Secretary of State has long been known by critics as “Narco Rubio.”

There are very few easy choices at the highest geopolitical levels.
India had to pick a side, and now that it has, it will have to live with the consequences.
On the plus side, everyone is figuring out how much better off they are as they leave America’s orbit. America is like a toxic partner.
The payoff for India may be huge—not enough to make it like China industrially, as India can’t achieve what China has achieved, but enough to allow India to improve economically and diplomatically.
All growth comes from discomfort and perseverance.

@107 joepalive
This is 100% true.
My daughter and I were driving down a boulevard and from across four lengths of traffic on the other sidewalk, we see a tall Asian dude walking his dog.
I exclaim to my daughter, “Yeesh!”
She says, “What?”
“Did you see that dude?”
“That was a girl, dad.”
“Sure it was.” I explained to her why that was a man.
Men out in public are more or less peacocks. They project a certain, “Look at me.” This is hardwired into our DNA.
Women want to be diminished in public because, as John Berger made clear: “Men watch women. Women watch themselves being looked at.”
That man walking his dog was looking for eyeballs to look at him. He was not “diminished” by being out in public.
Now Women prostitutes also are looking for eyeballs, but this is in adopting a completely fictitious persona for their career as street walker. They disassociate because it is not womanly to be a streetwalker and they know it.

Venezuelan Leader’s YouTube Channel Disappears
By AFP – Agence France Presse
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s YouTube channel — which had 233,000 subscribers — has disappeared from the popular video-sharing platform, an AFP search revealed Saturday.
“This page is unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience,” says a message where Maduro’s channel used to be.
YouTube did not immediately respond to an AFP request for comment.
The government in Caracas has not yet commented on the issue, but television network Telesur reported that the account had been taken down Friday.
“Without any justification, the YouTube channel was closed at a time when the US was fully implementing hybrid warfare operations against Venezuela,” Telesur said on its website.
“While the political nature of the account closure has not been confirmed, it cannot be ruled out either,” the outlet said.
The United States, where YouTube is headquartered, has deployed eight ships to the Caribbean Sea in what it says is an effort to combat drug trafficking.

If is going to be just as half as good as this Jamaican band was (1979 festival, Poland) it will be GREAT!

When I went over the Töö pass in the Tien Shan mountains en route from Bishkek to the Uzbek border in a minibus with a bunch of goldmine workers, the radio kept blasting a number of memorable songs – one of them was a rendition of this tune. I kept wondering how the hell Ma Baker made it to the post Soviet states; now I know. Thanks to the Moon of Alabama, this most wondrous place.
Another hit they kept playing is the German pop classic Djinghis Khan.
From the same artist is the song Moskau, perhaps the tune with the highest subversive potential in the current political climate [lyrics translated]. I’ve heard it being played in the turkish supermarket across the street and in a leftist bar recently … maybe not all is lost.

I have two google phones that stopped working. Was tossing up about an apple phone but you don’t get that big in America without being incorporated into the security state.
Went looking for a phone running Ubuntu. Used to be heaps of them coming out of China, but China now has its own operating system. On Alibaba, there is some good phones, but minimum order for one loaded with Ubuntu is 5000. On Ebay, there is a lot in Britain. The Brits mustn’t trust their government or the Americans much. A few in the US.
To buy a phone off American ebay from Britain I would have to restart my American paypal account. Stuff the Americans. I wont bother with a phone.

Posted by: Peter AU1 | Sep 20 2025 22:09 utc | 328

These phones are an odd thing. Can still connect to the internet but cannot make call. Would be good to be able to call a taxi instead of staggering down the street to buy another bottle of turps.
Internet though can be very intermittent, especially after I write emails to my sister. I don’t bother with that now and internet connection seems a bit more steady.
Makes wonder if its the Australian gov. US now have a military headquarters here so I guess that’s head office. Not sure what the yanks call that command, but parliament house would be little more than a dog turd on their front lawn.

I had some success with the Pine64 phone … I have the 4 core and it works mostly ok. Power consumption is a little on the high side, and sometimes it drains itself even in suspend mode … so if I’m travelling I just power it off when I’m not using it. Hardly anyone calls me, they either SMS or msg some other way.
There has been a bit of tinkering involved. It’s a bit of a time waster but if you are into that, then it’s workable hardware. The accept ordinary CC payment and they ship from Hong Kong by courier.
https://pine64.com/shop/
The other choice is buy a regular phone, find someone who can unlock the firmware, and install LineageOS. Plenty of people do it that way and are happy with it.

Posted by: Tel | Sep 20 2025 23:22 utc | 331

lol @ the data center frenzy. Stamping out 1GW installations with Gulf state money and rented gas turbines to produce LLM bullshit sure is the way to win bigly for the west … not.

Posted by: persiflo | Sep 20 2025 23:50 utc | 332

I had a look at the site and a couple of phones.
“The PinePhone Pro Explorer Edition is aimed at Linux developers with an extensive knowledge of embedded systems and/or experience with mobile Linux.”
As far as I know, Ubuntu is a bit more user friendly. I had it on a computer once so I could boot in either ubuntu or Windows. The interment was not as censored as it is know and I was used to windows so didn’t bother with it.
I went down to a local computer shop, a couple of nurds in a rundown shop. They said it was a big job installing ubuntu on a phone model that had not already been done. They have to work out the codes to all the device drivers and hook up to them.

Posted by: malenkov | Sep 21 2025 2:00 utc | 335

If you particularly are in love with Ubuntu … there’s a status page telling you what is currently compatible with Pine64 hardware. It’s not an “official” port, but it has at least been done and there’s instructions.
https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/pinephone/
I’m not a big Ubuntu fan … too many years spent waiting for them to fix fundamental stability bugs. I’m using mostly Alpine Linux on older hardware these days … YMMV.
If you don’t mind spending a bit extra, and you look around on that Ubuntu-Touch website, consider the “Fairphone 4” which does have an official UBports install procedure … and the manufacturer is cooperating with the Open Source community. Those are easily available in Australia … although if you buy one it will be pre-installed with Android so you need to make sure you can get tech support at least for the initial setup.
The Fairphone easily beats the Pine64 on any hardware comparison … but the price is also much higher … from my perspective, I could afford it, but I don’t want such a lot of money going into something in my pocket which could easily get dropped or stolen.
I have never personally tinkered with a Fairphone … but it does get a lot of positive writeups and when you get the shits with Ubuntu (most people eventually do) then you still have LineageOS as an option.

Electrolytes. My teeth didn’t do to well after I reacted to tick bite. Bloody painful for a year or two but found that was magnesium deficiency. But still my teeth rotted. The fangs all went from the tips, not the base – that is a mineral deficiency. Clowns masquerading as dentists and doctors. Many of them. Idiots. Phosphorus deficiency. Took me eighteen years. I guess I’m a bit slow on the uptake.
Turns out phosphorus is an electrolyte. The small intestine grabs most of the goodies. The first half of the large intestine rots down whats left and extracts a bit more. The last half of the large intestine recovers the digestive electrolytes. That buggers up and you have electrolyte deficiencies.

Potassium
Chloride
Sodium
Magnesium
Phosphorus.

I bought an Oppo smartphone from BigW in Australia 4 years ago for AUD 99. It is what I am using. Never had repair and same battery. It was unlocked when I bought it.
But the surprising thing I found by chance. One day it fell into the water. A foot of water. Found it an hour later. It still works.
I looked for info, not advertised as a waterproof phone when sold in Australia due to regulatory issues.
Four years old. I works in many countries and of course in China. So cheap. So good. What is not to like. Go Oppo.
My wife has a Haweui and it is good too, but doesn’t work in Australia like my Oppo.
Rejoice BigW!!!!!

Yeah. I worked on milungra for a bit. The head stockman in our camp was Browny. He taught me how to ride. No dicking about when stepping in the saddle.
Bloody colts. We would use them on short days. I saw a saddle in the saddlemakers shop one day and asked Browny if I could have it. He said not until you stay in the saddle you’ve got.Next day we was riding out and I was on calculator. A bit rough when he started bouncing in the gidgie, but on that day we were just riding out along a fenceline. Calculator started bouncing and I stuck to the saddle Basted tucked his head beteen his leds and me and the saddle was face down in the dirt. The other boys grabbed calculator and I thew the saddle back on an climed aboard. We headed off down the track and Browny turns and says grab that saddle when we get back.
A good life.young and like a bit of wire rope. My bones did not break. Now they would just go snap crackle and pop like a bowl of rice bubbles.

Intervision. Aussie born singer Vassy was to be 5th to perform, representing USA.
Pressure from the Australia government forced her to withdraw. That an Aussie singer representing the USA would do well or win was obviously too much for the west.
The story as we know it is clearly reported on ABC news Australia. Complete with the irony. She is devastated and has left Russia. Australia government has so far declined to comment.

I think that the GOP and Trump have ignored election integrity may be a dire message.
They don’t care if the next election is stolen…
Or they don’t care if elections are stolen in perpetuity which is waving a white flag over the Republic.
That was my issue with MAGA in 2016.
No infrastructure projects, no reforms, no crooked pols being inducted.
This time is more of the same.
I’ve been saying for years at MoA that government cannot be reformed via the ballot box.
It has to collapse and be re-imagined.

Politics have been sexualized by the MSM. Iirc MK Ultra originally had a large dollup of sex along with an altered reality. Late 60s sexual ‘revolution’ has morphed into our current digital MSM and easily available porn undercurrents. There may be continuity in a societal control mechanism that also uses sexuality.
Part of that control seems to be an unending testing and blurring of previous boundaries. It gives a certain ‘kick’ to those who ‘break the rules’. That ‘freedom’ actually enslaves persons to their animal desires and they are more easily led. Like a drug addict, bigger ‘kicks’ are constantly craved, and who grants those ‘kicks’?
My conjecture is that the as above so below maxim is being used, what is implied at oligarchy levels is mirrored in the financially, social status lower levels.
The Epschwein stains along with the hardly credible, until you look into it, Pizza Gate allude to more than teenage pedophilia. The (surviving) victims collectively state that there were hundreds into thousands, many who were girls. The question is since there is a large payout, where are they now?
The Podesta, Abramovich etc. ‘art work’ is truly beyond disturbing.
There seems to be a wider mirrored effect. And skipping over or ignoring that influence leaves a large gap in how the worldly powers that be operate. Which is what They want – do not look there, do not talk about this or that… don’t talk about the genocidal crIZzies, don’t talk about the trannie psycho killers, don’t talk about the segment of the US population that accounts up to 70% of all murders.
Imo one needs to see the unity of politics, economics, sexuality, religion, biology, drug use (legal/illegal), health, spirituality or the active dampening of any of the preceding.
As much as I appreciate Juliania comments, I absolutely do not appreciate the attempt to stifle discussion. Juliannia from what I have read seems to be a good person.

Juliania is good. There was a bit of low level street talk going on earlier. I guess I can talk to a germ in a gutter but that was getting a bit rough. Tellin the boys to watch their mouths is hardly stifling discussion. Its only the swear words need to be held back. I have a bit of trouble keeping those words caged. Sometimes a few escape captivity. But still, they are not required to gut this system we live in.

A must listen – they would have blitzed Intervision!
If our government had appointed Dustyesky as our Russian Ambassadors, history could have now been very different. I lived near Mullumbimby some time ago and know some of these good lads…

A Russian singsong would be good. I doubt the french faggots and their bearded ladies will be there.

General Factotum
They must have good vodka up there. Mullumgrad. Might have to stagger up there one day.
Though the opal fields is where I would like to go.

A young German bloke made a few videos on Opalton. There was was a big old German that had been digging there for yonks. A bit of a character. Dead as a door nob now. I guess he went past his useby date. Gets bloody hot up there though. Out from Charleville it was above 45 for six weeks strait. YHad three thermometers and they all read the same. Gets a bit hotter in opalton when the summer sun shines.

Stick to the opal fields Peter. Lightning Ridge, and don’t miss White Cliffs.
I don’t think you would like Mullumbimby, Byron Bay, or Bangalow now. It used to be paradise in the 60-80’s; you could live for nothing, fish, grow your own (fruit and veg, of course!!), surf… but then the big money, celebrities moved in and destroyed the character of the place. I couldn’t afford to shit there now…

The bases are their top priority, not the welfare of the people.
“When the U.S. was withdrawing, they asked to keep bases. We told them that if you stay, we’re ready to fight for another 20 years. So they left,” – Mohammad Mujahid, Afghan Taliban Defense Minister.”
The same can be said of Russia, which was/is anxious to keep its bases in Syria.

Re my previous comment Trump hints that if the Afghan government doesn’t give us the Bagram airbase, that the Yanks will take it.
“The U.S. wants Bagram Air Base back right away and will have consequences if they reject
‘We’re talking now to Afghanistan. We want it back and we want it back soon. Right away — and if they don’t do it, you’re going to find out what I’m going to do.”

Here Trump threatens Afghanistan on his media platform – if they don’t give the Bagram airbase back to those who built it, the Soviets built Bagram airbase in the 1950’s. Bagram is roughly 40 kilometers North of Kabul.

I’ve been saying for years at MoA that government cannot be reformed via the ballot box.
It has to collapse and be re-imagined.

Right Love, It’s what Thos Jefferson recommended. It just takes the US a bit long to try the wrong things and finally settle on the right one. Maybe they will follow the Nepal model: elections on Discord, new constitution written by AI. What could go wrong?
