News & views related to the war in Palestine …

The old Nazi’s just can’t shake-off that joyous feeling of being part of a genocide.
“German Chancellor Friedrich Merz says Berlin will not join a growing initiative by Western allies to recognize the state of Palestine.
Speaking at a joint news conference with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Merz said Tuesday Germany would not participate in plans by Canada, Australia, and France to recognize Palestine at next month’s United Nations General Assembly.
“The Canadian government and the Canadian Prime Minister are aware of the German federal government’s position regarding the possible recognition of Palestine as a state. We will not support this initiative,” Merz said.
The German leader also ruled out reconsidering the stance in light of Israel’s deadly attacks in Gaza, which targeted journalists and healthcare workers on Monday. “The events of the last few days and hours have not changed our stance,” he added.
More than 140 UN member states already recognize Palestine, with Spain, Ireland, and Norway joining the ranks last year.”

Stop saying “October 7th” .
Even tuned in people do it.
Zios want to drop it all in Hamas’ lap.
The latest chapter in the theft of Palestine began 15 days earlier on September 22, 2023.
Trump: “I have one thing to say: remember October 7, remember October 7.”

People have already forgotten 9/22 (“Nine Two Two”).

…See?

What happened fifteen days before Oct 7th – Oct 7th, a day of treachery and betrayal by Netanyahu when he killed as many Israelis as he could (Hannibal doctrine).

Fifteen days before, on 9/22, Netanyahu gave a speech before the world in which he wiped Palestine from the map.

“Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated”, a quote scifi fans around the world are familiar with.

Together with wiping Palestine from the map in his 9/22 speech he urged assimilation (as servants?) and the loss of their core identity .
Wearing his trademark smirk Netanyahu urged Palestinians to
“embrace Israel”.

[“In various speeches, Smotrich presented Palestinians with three options: death; accepting a status below Jews without collective political rights (in biblical terms, the status of servants and slaves); or migration, whether forced or voluntary, facilitated by Israel through compensation and finding countries to receive Palestinians.”]

“Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.”

Immediately afterwards Palestinians were shown definitively what Netanyahu’s “beneficent” assimilation would involve.

Nine days after wiping Palestine from the map, Oct 1st, Zionist settlers began to invade and defile the core of Palestinians’ identity –
the al Aqsa mosque. The settlers did this day after day after day until on Oct 7th when
the Palestinians answered with resistance.

On Oct 3rd/4th, in the midst of the provocation, the infamous Rave Party was relocated to a location *just outside* (!) the Gaza walls,
AND (!) on the path to the IDF Re’im military base. The IDF knew the Re’im military base was Hamas’ prime target.

The Rave Party was relocated against the decision of the Gaza sector officers who had not permitted the party at that location because of security concerns.
In an unusual move (!), IDF divisional headquarters inserted themselves into the decision over the party location and ordered that it should be held.

The IDF had captured Hamas’ detailed battle plan so they knew Re’im was the prime target and the IDF knew Hamas would conduct their jailbreak on the Sabbath or a Jewish holiday as so many IDF soldiers were on leave. Israeli media estimates that 50% (!) of the IDF was on leave on Oct 7th because it was BOTH the Sabbath and a Jewish holiday.

ALSO, this relocation of the Rave party was done in the midst (!) of a major, major, major, intentional provocation, the wiping of Palestine off the map and the repeated defilement and invasion of the al Aqsa mosque.

How much of that does Trump remember?
Does he remember the arrival of the IDF Apache helicopters which blasted away at the Rave partygoers?
Hamas wanted Israeli hostages.
Netanyahu wanted as many Israeli casualties as he could create.
Netanyahu wants you to believe that history began on October 7th.
The theft of Palestine began decades ago.
And the latest chapter should be set at 9/22 not Oct 7th.
Say instead, 9/22 (“nine two two”)

Posted by: Otto Penn | Aug 27 2025 16:46 utc | 2

Otto,
true about 9/22, but highlighting Oct 7th also highlights that the IDF Hannibal’d 400-700 Israelis that day.

Looks like Iran still hasn’t learnt its lesson. They’re now letting the IAEA back in again.
I thought I remember their media was swearing up and down the IAEA was passing info to Israel and they passed laws to ban them from the country… but apparently not.
Either their media is full of shit or their leaders are more stupid than I thought.

The Canadian rider Derek Gee has also sought to terminate his contract with the IPT team, though he hasn’t yet gone public with his reasons.
I happened to see the race incident live on TV; it was covered by a helicopter camera but wasn’t replayed.
The cycling audiences have been showing support for the Palestinian cause, with flags being flown frequently and “Free Gaza” prominently painted on road surfaces in mountain stages in many televised races.

Keep in mind that in addition to killing Palestininians by the dozens every day the Israelis are raping them in prison, there are tens of thousands of POWs in Israel and thousands of children and the Israelis are raping them all every day. They even gang rape starving adult male prisoners so women and children are a special treat for them. They also amputate their hands and feet without anesthetic. Israel is the rape, torture and human trafficking capital of the world. I hope these rumors of a new war with Iran are true and Iran bombs their power grid and water treatment plants to ashes in the very first volley. Death to Israel and death to every Zionist Jew on Earth.

The inspectors will inspect fuel Rod change out at Bushehr.
Bushehr is mostly controlled by Russia and Russia & China trying to prevent SnapBack sanctions (which will happen anyways) EU claims will make decision by end August.
P3 & Iran met Friday.
Unable to make “deal” ( EU of course wants “new deal”)
No inspector’s at bombed out sites.
Media trying to upset Iranian citizens.
JPCPOA expires October 18
Unless UNSC gets 6 month extension, game over, should P3 implement snap back, Iran leaves non proliferation treaty, and it’s all over.

Oh, great. Another would-be Congress critter rises up from her own fetid swamp of ignorance and putrid thoughts to show everyone the “platform” she is running on. It’s only got one plank and it’s an ugly short one. She must be a Hegseth groupie.

Texas GOP candidate Valentina Gomez just released a campaign ad burning the Quran and vowing to “end Islam in Texas.”
A Texas Republican congressional candidate has set fire to a copy of the Quran in a campaign ad, igniting a furor on X.
Valentina Gomez, a self-styled ‘MAGA America First’ political hopeful, published the video on Tuesday, asking for help in getting elected to the US Congress.
“Your daughters will be raped and your sons beheaded, unless we stop Islam once and for all,” Gomez declared in the video, before stepping back and letting loose a stream of flame at a copy of the Muslim holy book. This was accompanied by a recording of a song by controversial rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
“America is a Christian nation, so those terrorist Muslims can f*ck off to any of the 57 Muslim nations. There is only one true God, and that is the God of Israel,” she said.
“I will end islam (sic) in Texas so help me God…” Gomez wrote in her X post, asking for support for her campaign to “get to Congress.”
The stunt racked up 3.8 million views in a day, and drew a storm of approving and condemning replies.
“This isn’t politics. It’s incitement,” podcaster Brian Allen wrote. “When the mosques start burning, remember: this was the match and the Texas GOP handed her the lighter.”
Gomez was born in Colombia and emigrated to the US at a young age. Last year, she unsuccessfully ran for the GOP nomination for Missouri Secretary of State. She is now campaigning for Texas’ 31st District in 2026.
The former Olympic swimmer has a record of provocative and foul-mouthed behavior. Last year, she took a swipe at transgender athletes in women’s sports, writing on X: “There’s no such thing as a chick with a d***. Keep women sports female!”

One response to her (tweet below) includes her video of craziness where she burns a copy of the Quran.
This isn’t politics. It’s incitement.

I posted the whole article on the last thread, but if you missed it, a link is below. BTW, Israel is opening 2 new “aid sites” run by these guys in southern Gaza. Israel is happy with their US killers.
Exclusive: US contractors in Gaza pursued MEE journalist before his killing.
https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/exclusive-us-contractors-gaza-pursued-mee-journalist-his-killing?nid=427184&topic=Israel%2527s%2520genocide%2520in%2520Gaza&fid=547507
UN Security Council meeting on the Middle East was today. Summary of results and some statements:

Security Council members – except US – say Israel must reverse course in Gaza
A joint statement from 14 of the 15 members of the UN Security Council has called for Israel to stop further expansion of its military operation in Gaza.
The statement, which was not signed on to by the US, also:
backed the IPC global hunger monitoring system that confirmed a famine in Gaza.
said the famine in Gaza was a man-made crisis.
warned that the use of starvation as a weapon of war is banned under international law.
called for an immediate and unconditional permanent Gaza ceasefire, and the release of captives held in the enclave.
demanded Israel immediately and unconditionally lift all restrictions on aid delivery into Gaza.

Some statements and notes:
The meeting was held to address Israel’s expanded military campaign in Gaza, with the UN’s Deputy Special Coordinator telling the council the humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territory continues to deteriorate.
US statements on Israel: The US Ambassador to the UN stated that Israel’s military had concluded that Hamas members were killed in a recent hospital strike and called on the council to condemn Hamas for using civilian infrastructure. [Note: if they are talking about the killing of the 5 journalists and 15 others, plus the wounding of many, the US is lying. Israel already admitted it and called it an unfortunate mistake. -Teri]
UK calls for Israeli action: The UK’s representative to the UN called the famine in Gaza a “man-made crisis” and a “moral outrage,” and explicitly told Israel to “immediately lift restrictions” on aid.
Criticism from other members: While the US supported Israel, the other 14 Security Council members issued a joint statement calling the Gaza famine a “man-made crisis.” They called for an unconditional ceasefire and for Israel to lift all aid restrictions.
Additional agenda items: The meeting also addressed other aspects of the conflict, such as the plight of hostages held by Hamas.
Another day of blah-blah-blah, nothing we can do about it.
I don’t think I knew this, or if I did I forgot it – Jared Kushner, son-in-law of Trump, is related to Netanyahu. Now he’s teaming up with Tony Blair (holy cow! Is that werewolf still alive?) to discuss “day after” plans for Gaza with Trump this afternoon. I’m sure aside from ethnic cleansing and real estate plans, there will lots of blood-letting included in said plans, but none of it Israeli blood.

Axios is reporting that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, will present “day after” plans for Gaza at a White House meeting on Wednesday.
Blair’s legacy is largely shaped by his push for the US-UK war on Iraq in 2003, which a British inquiry later panned by saying he lied about the intelligence assessments.
Kushner has close family ties with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dating back decades, and suggested more than a year ago that Gaza would make for highly lucrative waterfront property development.

The attack on the Nasser Hospital was no mistake. These journalists were ID’s using the Lavender AI program used by the IDF.
After they were ID’d they were deliberately fired upon by the IDF tank crews. These tankers were less than two blocks from the hospital.
It was no random accident….it was a deliberate war crime.
Over 200 journalists have been singled out and murdered by the IDF since the provocations at Al Asqua in the first week of October ……………..its all part of the plan…….kill all the Palestinian, force them to convert to Judaism or exile them to Egypt.

Via Journalist Youssef Fares, a collection of reports and observations on the realities of ‘displacement’ or attempted displacement:
• “Some people went to the central and southern regions, and searched inch by inch for an apartment to rent or a plot of land to pitch a tent, and they were only afflicted with the loss of transportation. This is the truth. There is no capacity in the south or the central region . No one has the financial ability to move or establish a place from scratch again. The smallest detail today, such as a water barrel or a bathroom, requires a fortune and the wealth of Qarun, at a time when people are struggling to obtain their daily sustenance. Those who were able to move at the beginning of the war had savings, money, health, and hope that it would be a short period and end. But after two years of war and a bitter experience, there is no money, health, or stamina left for a new death experience one drop at a time. This is the reality in colloquial Arabic, if no one understands it in classical Arabic.
Journalist Youssef Fares – The Afflicted Gaza”
• “A booby-trapped robot under a house in northern Gaza.
Israel is using what is known as an “explosive robot.” These robots are armored personnel carriers, most likely a decommissioned M113, filled with high explosives weighing between 3 and 5 tons and operated remotely. The robots are driven into the heart of residential neighborhoods and detonated, causing a massive explosion with an estimated destructive radius of between 100 and 300 square meters.
The use of explosive robots was first documented in Jabalia in May 2024, and since then the Israeli army has been using them extensively across the Gaza Strip. In the Zeitoun neighborhood alone, more than 500 homes have been destroyed since the beginning of August 2025 by explosions from these robots, along with rockets.”
https://t.me/youseffares19/85975
• “Political researcher Ahmed Al-Tanani :
In a new example that reveals the extent of Israel’s “deception” of the world and reflects the depth of the real crisis on the ground, the occupation army is trying to convince the nearly one million Palestinians crowded in western Gaza City that there are places capable of accommodating them in the south of the Gaza Valley. To add so-called credibility, this claim is accompanied by a map marked with plots of land, some of which appear to be cemeteries, and another portion located east of Salah al-Din Street, in areas subjected to daily Israeli aggression.
This map in itself represents a clear condemnation and conclusive evidence of the lack of any practical or realistic possibility of accommodating the enormous number of people north of the Gaza Valley, whom the occupation seeks to push southward with fire and a policy of forced evacuation. The limited space and stifling overcrowding in the south of the Strip are insufficient to accommodate even a third of those currently present in the north.
What is happening is not merely forced displacement or ethnic cleansing; it is the invention of a new method of killing: those not killed by the bombing will be ravaged by hunger and disease, and those who survive will die of oppression and displacement.”
• “Deir al-Balah Mayor Nizar Ayyash :
There isn’t a single space in Deir al-Balah capable of accommodating any new displacement camp.
The coast is overcrowded, the east is a red zone under bombardment, the infrastructure is collapsing, and the desalination plant is barely functioning.
What’s happening in Deir al-Balah applies to all areas of the central governorate, and the situation here portends a humanitarian disaster if the pressure and displacement there continue.”
• “Maariv: The majority of Gaza City’s residents will not leave their homes for fear of being displaced and never returning. They will struggle to survive due to exhaustion, fatigue, and fear of the unknown. Estimates are unclear regarding the number of residents who have decided to evacuate Gaza, as indications of the war’s end are stronger than ever.”
• “Director of the Supply Department of the Civil Defense, Muhammad Al-Mughayyir :
– The occupation is promoting lies about the availability of safe and vast areas, while it militarily controls more than 85% of the southern Gaza Strip.
– The “Mawasi” of Khan Yunis is completely overcrowded and cannot accommodate any more displaced people. People do not have water to drink or bathe, and are sleeping on the ground without the necessities of life.
– What is happening in Gaza is repeated forced displacement, which destroys dignity and threatens lives.”
• “Al-Hadath TV correspondent: Several Gazan families returned today from the south to Gaza City due to the lack of places to pitch their tents and the high rents”
• “Haaretz:
Testimonies from Gaza to Haaretz reveal that many families in the city are facing a difficult existential challenge, both because of the exorbitant cost of evacuating the city and the significant logistical difficulties of relocating. Residents reported extremely high prices for basic services necessary for evacuation.
According to testimonies from the Strip, the price of a tent ranges between 4,500 and 5,000 shekels, and transportation costs for evacuation are at least 2,000 shekels and can reach nearly 1,000 dollars per family, not including toilet and other costs.
In total, a family would need to spend approximately 12,500 shekels to be able to evacuate from the city to the south.
Residents of the Strip also reported serious logistical difficulties in moving from one place to another. A woman from Gaza, in an interview with Radio Shams, said that moving within the Strip has become a nearly impossible task.
“Bringing a donkey cart or a tuk-tuk costs at least $1,000. I can’t imagine a family able to afford that. Moving from one place to another today is not just about finding an empty plot of land, if one exists at all. It’s a horrific journey of suffering, filled with fear and anxiety. Sometimes people prefer to sleep in the rubble or on the roads. We have nowhere to go,” she added.”

The whole plan seems to be for Trump to buy time until his fundamentalist buddies are ready to bulldoze the al Aqsa mosque. The Arab states are watching because they know if that happens it will be real mayhem in the region.
Trump has no policy and probably cannot project himself in the future (he got stuck to the Nobel prize because this is the kind of yearly event he can get fixed to…not knowing that the lists are drawn several months in advance). He just knows that he must make money for him and his crackpot zealot allies from the Bible belt in the US.
Clearly there will not be a welcoming party for the Christian zio who are planning to reconquer the Holy land so the “alliance” with Netanyahu and his gang is no long term planning either.

I think the Persians are playing the game. They don’t want to trigger EU snapback sanctions 5 minutes earlier than necessary.
So they have to engage in these performative measures to dissuade the EU from making a move.
I have this fantasy that the IAEA has to change into approved clothing and shoes to go into Iranian facilities.
We know they had listening and recording devices hidden in their shoes in the past (Maxwell Smart style).
Imagine a world without Israel or America. The remaining powers in good faith would want some sort of international nuclear observer.
As many mistakes and failures of the IAEA help provide a blueprint for a better future such agency.

In rural Damascus, four Israeli helicopters landed special forces who stormed the Syrian military barracks at al-Kiswa, remained there for two hours, and then withdrew without resistance. Israel now operates in Syria with near-total impunity — able to strike, land troops, and occupy positions at will, unprovoked and unchallenged.
…..In consequence, this is what will happen to Lebanon if the resistance is disarmed.

Israel rejects the UNSC, and accuses the underlying report on famine in Gaza as featuring “made-up, cherry-picked” data. Israel will seek to have the funding of the organization responsible revoked.
“The Foreign Ministry’s director general, Eden Bar Tal, wrote to the IPC on Wednesday asking for a retraction of the report until the body completes a review. “The report is deeply flawed, unprofessional, and gravely missing the standards expected from an international body entrusted with such a serious responsibility,” he wrote. His letter said the IPC had departed from its own standards and rules, adding there were indications data was made up, cherry-picked or ignored. “We expect the IPC to conduct an urgent and transparent review of this report that will address methodological breaches and avoid misleading the international community, the public and policymakers,” he wrote…Bar Tal said that if a new report were not presented within two weeks, Israel would continue to challenge the assessment and would ask the IPC’s donors to halt their financial support.”

Why Hamas is NOT a terrorist group
The framework of international law:
The United Nations (UN) has never declared Hamas a terrorist group. Only certain countries are doing this (USA, EU, Canada and some others), but not international law.
Why? Because Israel is recognized as an occupying power: since 1967 it has occupied Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem by military force. According to International Humanitarian Law, peoples under occupation have the legitimate right to resist, even with weapons, against the occupier.
This is supported by:
– UN resolutions, which recognize the right of all peoples to fight against colonial and foreign occupation.
– Geneva Conventions and the practice of the International Criminal Court (CPI), which do not criminalize armed resistance, provided that the laws of war are respected.
In this frame, Hamas is a political and resistance actor, not a terrorist group.
Judith Butler (American philosopher, Berkeley University): affirmed that “armed resistance under occupation cannot be reduced to terrorism,” and that the debate must include the roots of violence: occupation and colonialism.
Hamas could be criticized for certain acts, but that does not nullify its political legitimacy nor its character as a liberation movement.
Israel has imposed the label of “terrorism” as a propaganda tool to:
1) Prevent the world from talking about occupation and apartheid.
2) Justify massive bombing of civilian population in Gaza.
3) Criminalize any form of Palestinian resistance, whether armed or even peaceful (NGOs, students, journalists).
Calling Hamas a “terrorist” is not a legal fact, it’s a political and media strategy.
Israel, on the other hand, has murdered resistance leaders without trial, demonstrating its contempt for international law.
Palestinian resistance groups are comparable to other anti-colonial movements in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Hamas is a Palestinian actor with real representation in society, as it won elections in 2006.
The UN has never declared Hamas a terrorist. Israel is an occupying power. And according to international law, resistance against occupation is legitimate. That is not terrorism, it is a people’s right to liberate themselves.

Only the Washington backed salafi-wahhabi “islamist” groups (al Qaeda, ISIS, Jabhat al Nusra, HTS etc) are (correctly) listed as terrorists, at the UNSC. NOT Hezbollah, Hamas or any of the other Palestinian resistance groups. https://main.un.org/securitycouncil/en/sanctions/1267/resolutions

From Xinhuanet

UNITED NATIONS, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) — A Chinese envoy on Wednesday called on Israel to immediately halt its military operations in Gaza.
The Gaza conflict has dragged on for nearly 700 days, plunging Gaza into a living hell, with 2 million Gazans deeply trapped in a massive man-made catastrophe, and over 1 million people facing emergency food insecurity, said Geng Shuang, China’s deputy permanent representative to the United Nations.
“The international community needs to exhaust every effort possible to prevent further deterioration,” he told the Security Council.
“Violence cannot bring security, nor can force win peace,” said Geng. Israel’s continued, escalated military offensives have resulted in the loss of numerous innocent lives every day, he added. “We urge Israel to heed the strong calls from the international community, immediately cease its military operations in Gaza and immediately halt its dangerous moves that escalate tensions.”
Israel’s strike on Gaza’s Nasser Hospital on Monday killed over 20 civilians, including journalists and medical workers, creating a horrendous tragedy. “Israel is still moving forward with its military plan to take over Gaza. The plan, once implemented, will inevitably lead to more bloodshed and displacement, adding to the danger and insecurity both the Gazan people and the detained hostages are facing,” Geng said.
“China opposes and condemns all actions that harm civilians, damage civilian infrastructure, and violate international law,” he said. Violations of international humanitarian law are unacceptable; the weaponization of humanitarian supplies is unacceptable; and militarized aid distribution mechanisms are unacceptable, Geng added.
The biggest challenge to scaling up humanitarian assistance in Gaza has not been the shortage of supplies or the incompetence of the United Nations and other humanitarian agencies, said Geng. “Rather, it has always been Israel’s lack of political will and the deliberately created obstacles.”
China calls on Israel to fulfill its obligations as the occupying power under international humanitarian law by opening all border crossings, fully restoring humanitarian access, and supporting the United Nations in providing assistance in line with the humanitarian principles, he said.
Israel’s recent approval of a settlement expansion plan in the E1 area of the West Bank will severely undermine the contiguity of the Palestinian territory, to the detriment of the foundation of Palestinian statehood, Geng said. The international community must reinvigorate the political prospect of the two-state solution with the utmost urgency, firmly reject any forced displacement of the Palestinian people, and oppose any dangerous attempts to annex the West Bank and Gaza, he added.
At present, the situation in the Middle East remains complex and fragile, with multiple hot-spot issues intertwined. However, the Palestinian question remains central to the Middle East issue, he said.
China supports the Security Council in taking all necessary actions to achieve a ceasefire, end the fighting in Gaza and alleviate the humanitarian disaster. China calls on countries, particularly the country with significant influence over the parties concerned, to uphold a just and responsible position and play a constructive part, he said.
China will continue to work with the international community toward ending the conflict in Gaza, advancing the implementation of the two-state solution, and ultimately achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the Palestinian question, so that both the Palestinians and Israelis can live in shared tranquility and happiness, he said.

Will China go beyond strong words?

From Al Manar

The head of the UN’s nuclear watchdog said a team of its inspectors are “back in Iran,” the first to enter since the US-Israeli aggression on the Islamic Republic last June.
Iran suspended cooperation with the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency following a 12-day Israeli war which the US also entered by striking Iranian nuclear facilities.
Tehran said the move was due to the IAEA’s failure to condemn Israeli and US strikes on its nuclear facilities.
“Now the first team of IAEA inspectors is back in Iran, and we are about to restart,” director general Rafael Grossi tells Fox News’ “The Story.”
“When it comes to Iran, as you know, there are many facilities. Some were attacked, some were not,” Grossi says.
“So we are discussing what kind of… practical modalities can be implemented in order to facilitate the restart of our work there.”
According to Iranian media, it is not yet clear whether these statements mean a formal agreement between Iran and the Agency for the return of inspectors or just a prediction by the Agency’s Director General in this regard.

Why would Iran let IAEA inspectors back into their nuclear facilities?….I would call the above a delusional prediction if not for the mention of IAEA in Iran currently somewhere….SIGH!…above my pay grade

The only governments and organizations that are worthwhile are revolutionary.
If they don’t oppose capitalism, debt slavery, and “democracy,” they will never be fit for purpose.
That purpose is to provide for human safety and flourishing.
3 years ago, I said that one cannot reform a government at the ballot box.
Since then, I have seen and heard nothing to convince me otherwise.
People still obsess over what politicians say, as they do the opposite. Are they mocking their constituents?

Michael, thanks for that X post and replies. I immediately added my 2 cents, to that ludicrous, sociopathic PR post aka excrement by the German Foreign Office:
“Shocked? You sent Israel the bombs! And tanks, ammunition, ISR, manpower, even spare parts. You are warcriminals, making money of genocide.”
For years I kept thinking of that boy and his horse, collecting trash in one of the best documentaries ever, “Born in Gaza.” Are they still alive?
As far as that one commenter here trying to make a point; yes, the GAE has killed millions in collateral through direct strikes, indirect damage and sanctions.
All sanctions are immoral, unethical, and they are war crimes. Sanctions hurt the ordinary and vulnerable population, not the rulers. Millions of people have been murdered by the GAE since 1945.
The commenter seemed to bring up the issue of, Gaza genocide bad, but what of murdered millions. I think it has never been this explicitly broadcast. And now the mask is off, people will see the truth.
There really is just a wall, when the music stops, the furniture is gone and the curtains drawn. Because we have been lied to our entire lives, this is the defining moment of our time. To open our eyes.
Awareness of Gaza will lead to an awareness of TPTB, MICIMATT, WEF, MSM, everything. Gaza is the truth, right now. Gaza (and Ukraine) have shown us their Evil Agenda. In a way that 500k dead civilian Iraqis could not.
This is happening at the Mediterrean Sea, within hours of Greece, Italy, ie the EU! People are getting slaughtered by a ‘democracy.’ And Ukraine is Europe adjacent, with its’ population brainwashed.
Gaza genocide truth is out. Step 1. More and more people will realize Nakba, Balfour, and 9/22. Thanks for that date and excellent post, Otto Penn!| Aug 27 2025 16:46 utc | 1.
Step 2 is when the truth comes out on true numner of Ukraine and foreign KIA/WIA. At least total of 1.5 million, if not 2. People will be so shocked when they realize it was a WW1 like situation. In an adjacent country, “fighting for democracy.”
Step 4 is when the Russians finally unleash the truthbombs: All the evidence of US biolabs, Burisma, child and organ trafficking, illegal adoptions, neonazis etc etc. Oh, and the corruption, the terrorism in Africa by Ukie mercenaries, the role of the MIC. And America’s production lies. I mean, feces are gonna fly! Well, I hope minds will explode.
Step 5: after securing the – legally obtained, by international law parts of countries are allowed to secede via referendum – terrain Mr. Putin is happy with, and then? Nothing. No invasion, no march to London. Not even a march to Kiev. Again, mindblowing for those who are told for 5 years that Putin is Hitler, and he wants Western Europe.
I am contemplating other scenarios and steps, to anticipate and imagine possible psychological reactions. Millions in mass formations psychosis need to be debunked. This is why it seems the defining moment, amidst these events of our time. Gaza and Ukraine.
Time to sleep, got a 5 AM alarm for PT and swimming. Hope I do not dream of Gaza and war, like so many nights. Be well bar, next time I will drink a Southern Comfort, last enjoyed 20 years ago.
No, during these last days of the Empire, I rely on microdosing psilocybin, 0.15 mg of Golden Teacher. I am on palliative pain medications for adhesive arachnoiditis, causes intractable pain equivalent to the pain of terminal cancer.
Amidst the heartbreaking stories and pictures of shellshocked, emaciated children getting amputations without anesthesia, then phantom limb pain, which I experience on a daily base, my heart broke irreparable. Hence, the microdosing, to keep my sanity.

Also, apparently the Russian engineers demanded the IAEA to witness the transfer of fuel rods.
Could be simply inline with standards requirements from their POV.
From Iran’s point of view I’d recommend they stop relying on Russians for everything except maybe halaal borscht.
You can be sure there’s a little Jewish gnome embedded in everything coming out of Russia these days.

I get the impression Iran is just messing with the Europeans by letting the IAEA access the Russian built part of the nuclear programme:

Choose wisely; IAEA interaction will stop if ‘snapback’ triggered: Iran warns Europe
Iran warns the UK, France, and Germany that it would stop interaction with the United Nations nuclear watchdog if the trio managed to have the UN Security Council restore its sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

They might be holding out access as bait to delay snapback.
How does this help Iran?
I don’t know, maybe extra time for the international trade checks to clear …

Khomeni: “nuclear issue unsolvable”
No one in Iran is stupid. Preparing for war.
Posted by: Trubind1 | Aug 27 2025 19:07 utc | 9
I would bet to differ, this is one of most stupid decisions I’ve seen, which is why I’m bringing this up to other’s attention.
Note Press TV is where I read about it before. Currently its down for me so I’ll go over the TASS sources:
“Iran may reject cooperation with IAEA if sanctions imposed — Foreign Ministry”
– Iran walking back its earlier statements to ban IAEA cooperation. Falsely pretending as if the sanctions are currently lifted to defend its backflip. When in reality Iran is currently under multiple layers of heavy sanctions, not only nuclear but for “human rights abuses, terrorism, and weapons proliferation”. No western company can buy Iranian oil without getting scorched by U.S. secondary sanctions and EU sanctions of other types.
In practice this means Iran will compromise its internal security to beg for the mere aspirations (not even a promise) of sanction relief.
“IAEA chief says no evidence of Iran moving nuclear fuel from Isfahan”
– Confirmation Iran allowed IAEA inspectors to inspect its sites in Isfahan. Earlier on presstv there were claims that Iran only allowed IAEA personnel in to “negotiate”. But this confirms that was false, and inspector teams were directly allowed in.
“Grossi says return of IAEA inspectors to Iran indicates progress toward agreement”
– “the country’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on August 27 that IAEA inspectors will oversee the fuel replacement process at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant. Earlier, Laurence Norman, a reporter with The Wall Street Journal, said that Iran may soon grant permission for IAEA inspectors to visit nuclear sites unaffected by the attacks.
Isn’t that great? Who cares about the bombed out sites, Iran is freely allowing the IAEA scope out unbombed nuclear sites for future attacks.
Absolutely frustrating to watch. You’ll never see North Korea begging for scraps like Iran.
Its almost as if the leadership will along with popular sentiment for retaliation to stay in power, but as soon as the heat dies down, they’ll go back to doing their best to self sabotage.

Posted by: Jules | Aug 28 2025 6:15 utc | 54

@Arch Bungle | Aug 28 2025 5:50 utc | 52
During that little 12 day spat RF let it be known that its engineers would be staying in situ at their positions in that nuclear plant which is under their control – and the message to both the Zionist entity and its BigBoyBully backer was implicitly – ‘Don’t you sons-of-bitches even think about bombing it – And they Didn’t.
So as to ensure that all is kocher, if you’ll pardon the term, the IAEA will be simply observing Russian nuclear scientists, who will of course also be observing them, and then they leave the Islamic Republic of Iran under armed guard as otherwise they would prob end up adorning a few lampposts. All legal – and Pres Putin a stickler for ensuring that all is legalese kocher, if you’ll once again pardon the term.
So – you’re out of line here Arch.

From what one can gather as a normal person with an above average interest the countries Colombia, Venezuela, North Korea, South Africa, and possibly several others have done far more against “Israel” in order to stop them than either China or Russia or Brazil or India (lol). You might as well try to excuse the US, Germany, the UK, and the EU, it would be just as stupid and pointless.
This is closing in on two years, a bit more than one month left.
Why the fuck anyone wants to “defend” China and Russia in particular concerning Gaza is beyond me. The blood money still flows all across the world drenching and drowning all sense of justice as well as all the empty excuses.
Two years of wasted talking so that at least a few hundreds of thousands of people can be killed; that’s their achievement, that’s their support, and that’s their sense of justice.
To hell with all of them, they are either shit or stupid as shit. I am not wasting any more time on their pathetic excuses,I will not listen to some toady drone on for hours about how I am “wrong” when I am obviously right as the genocide continues unabated.

How do you think Yemen targets Israeli locations?
Likely Chinese satellite data.
How do you think Yemen continues to build new types of missiles?
China, most likely. Yemen doesn’t have access to resources or refining to produce cutting-edge weaponry without help.
Iran and Yemen wouldn’t be able to do much without Chinese support.
Russia would be very limited without Chinese materiel support. China literally is the greatest center of resource processing and manufacturing in the world, a harsh reality that the Americans are just starting to realize.

Posted by: Arch Bungle | Aug 28 2025 5:50 utc | 52
I saw the line about “Russian engineers” too (might’ve been presstv), but that’s just bs deflection from Iran. Russian engineers don’t run Iranian foreign policy, Iranians do. Moreover it wasn’t Russians who went on to enact laws to ban the IAEA from country, then proceed to violate their own laws regarding this issue. If Iran really didn’t want to do it, nobody can force them to. This is just an excuse to placate domestic backlash against this understandably stupid decision.

The Hind Rajab Foundation
@HindRFoundation
The IDF claims the Nasser Hospital massacre was caused by a “Tank shell.” This is false. Our researchers have analysed the footage and confirmed it shows a guided missile fired on a direct trajectory from the northwest — consistent with precision systems such as Spike NLOS .
These missiles are man-in-the-loop: the operator sees or designates the target before impact.
The IDF therefore knew they were striking medics, civil defense crews, and journalists. This was a deliberate double-tap war crime, not an accident.
Researchers at the #HindRajabFoundation are finalising a detailed technical report on this attack, which will be included in a forthcoming legal filing against those responsible.

You’ll never see the DPRK actually fight someone from the West, let alone take on all of NATO while under sanctions and have them begging for a cessation of hostilities in only 12 days of fighting.
I love the Norks, but this fetishizing of the DPRK is really weird.
Iran is a civilizational scientific state with a space program. North Korea is overjoyed to launch a single destroyer.
Iran is flanked by enemies in all directions. North Korea is insulated by Russia and China.
Posted by: LoveDonbass | Aug 28 2025 6:30 utc | 59
NK volunteered troops to defend Kurst didn’t they? They also have SK and Japan on their doorsteps. NK firepower and nuclear build up forces the US empire to reserve a sizable part of their inventory to east Asia where they can’t be deployed against Iran. NK had a space program long before Iran. Overall NK is a lot more competently lead and run than Iran.
Yes NATO wanted a ceasefire after running out of ammo, but Iran actually gave it to them instead of pushing their advantage. Now after barely two months has passed Iran is going against their own laws to beg sanctions relief from their attackers. Wasted efforts that could be better spent building resiliency like NK no?

Israel Withholds Over 700 Palestinian Bodies, Some for Decades – Hamas
August 27, 2025 News
Israel’s policy “aims to punish Palestinian families and deprive them of their legitimate right to bury their children with dignity,” Hamas said.
Hamas has called on the UN and human rights groups to take serious action against Israel for its “heinous crime” of withholding the bodies of 726 Palestinians, with some having been held for decades.
“The occupation’s detention of our people’s martyrs’ bodies is a heinous Zionist crime that reveals its sadism and brutality, and we call for international action to expose the occupation and pressure it by all means to recover them,” the movement said in a statement on Wednesday to mark the National Day for the Recovery of Martyrs’ Bodies.
The bodies are being held in “cemeteries of numbers” and special freezers, “some for decades,” Hamas added, noting it was a “blatant violation of all international laws and norms.”
Hamas stressed that Israel has “escalated this inhumane policy” during the ongoing genocidal assault on Gaza since October 2023.
The figure of 726 “is what could be documented,” the movement said, adding that at the same time, “there are an unknown number of slain Palestinians from Gaza “whose bodies’ fates have not yet been documented, which exacerbates the scale and horror of the crime.”
‘Tampering with Bodies’
The resistance group affirmed that the “serious crimes and violations” committed by Israel against “the bodies of our martyrs” since October 7, 2023, “represent a blatant breach of all international and humanitarian laws that guarantee the rights of the dead and mandate human dignity in wars.”
It said that Israel “detaining and tampering with the bodies” is part of “the zionist system of oppression and terrorism, which aims to punish Palestinian families and deprive them of their legitimate right to bury their children with dignity.”
Hamas stated that the Palestinian resistance “has proven the authenticity of its humanitarian, ethical, and civilized values in dealing with the bodies of enemy prisoners during the recent exchange operation.” In contrast, Israel’s “sadistic crimes” against the Palestinian people, its prisoners and “the bodies of our martyrs …confirms to the world that this is a rogue entity that warrants isolation, boycott, and prosecution.”
The movement called on the UN, human rights and humanitarian organizations to take serious action and pressure Israel in all international forums “to abolish the crime of ‘cemeteries of numbers’” and compel it to stop “the policy” of detaining Palestinian bodies.
Staggering Death Toll
Since reneging on the ceasefire on March 18, Israel has continued its bloody aerial bombardment across the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding thousands of Palestinians.
Starting on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military, with American support, launched a genocidal war against the people of Gaza. This campaign has so far resulted in the deaths of more than 62,800 Palestinians, with more than 158,000 wounded. The vast majority of the population has been displaced, and the destruction of infrastructure is unprecedented since World War II. Thousands of people are still missing.
In addition to the military assault, the Israeli blockade has caused a man-made famine, leading to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians—mostly children—with hundreds of thousands more at risk.
Despite widespread international condemnation, little has been done to hold Israel accountable. The nation is currently under investigation for genocide by the International Court of Justice, while accused war criminals, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are officially wanted by the International Criminal Court.

Hezbollah’s Leader Qassem in Military Uniform Vows Not to Disarm
August 27, 2025 News
Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Naim Qassem appeared in uniform, declaring the movement will never surrender its weapons despite government pressure.
The debate over disarming the Lebanese movement Hezbollah continues to dominate Lebanon’s political, media, and social media landscapes.
Hezbollah’s media platform, War Media, recently released a video showing the group’s Deputy Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, in military uniform.
The video featured excerpts from his latest speech, in which he reiterated that Hezbollah would not give up its weapons.
This comes more than two weeks after the Lebanese government announced its decision to restrict the possession of arms and extend state sovereignty across all Lebanese territory.
Some social media users argued that disarmament would leave Lebanon vulnerable to Israeli occupation. In their view, disarming the resistance would serve the interests of the “settlers in Palestine,” who possess advanced weaponry, warplanes, tanks, heavy artillery, and even weapons of mass destruction.
Many activists also denounced calls for disarmament, asking: “Do they want Lebanon defenseless, stripped of the ability to protect itself? Why is the Israeli enemy never asked to lay down its arms?”
‘Never Give Up Weapons’
Qassem declared on Monday that the movement will not relinquish its weapons, accusing the Lebanese government of bowing to American and Israeli pressure by approving a plan to disarm the resistance.
In a video address from Beirut’s southern suburbs during a ceremony commemorating cleric Ali al-Moussawi, Qassem described the government’s decision as “sinful” and contrary to the Lebanese state charter.
“Whoever wants to disarm us wants to take our very souls, and then the world will see our strength,” he warned.
Qassem asked, “Do you expect us to lay down our arms after sacrificing 5,000 fighters and senior commanders?” He stressed that Hezbollah will never surrender its weapons or allow Israel to operate freely against resistance fighters.
Qassem added that if the government does not withdraw its decision, it will prove itself untrustworthy in protecting Lebanon’s sovereignty.
The Hezbollah leader called on authorities to hold dialogue sessions to restore sovereignty, arm the Lebanese army, and establish a national defense strategy.
https://twitter.com/abosalehmohsen/status/1960431970082595096
On the role of the military, he said: “The army is primarily responsible for defending the homeland, and the resistance remains a supporting force that has not lost its function.”
He insisted that the resistance is the only alternative to surrender and continues to stand as a shield against Israel.
The Hezbollah leader recalled that Lebanon, through the combined strength of its army, people, and resistance, had managed to deter Israel for 17 years. Without the resistance, he added, “Israel would have reached Beirut just as it reached Damascus.”

“The old Nazi’s just can’t shake-off that joyous feeling of being part of a genocide.”
More than 140 UN member states already recognize Palestine, with Spain, Ireland, and Norway joining the ranks last

German Chancellor Merz calls Israeli military actions in Gaza ‘unacceptable’
“What the Israeli government is doing there, and what the Israeli army is doing in carrying out the Israeli government’s will, is unacceptable. And yesterday’s event casts a heavy shadow on the otherwise completely justified actions against Hamas,” Merz said.
“These casualties among the civilian population, among uninvolved third parties, in this case, hospital staff, patients, and journalists, are the consequences of this massive military action,” he said, reiterating Berlin’s opposition to Israel’s expanded military operation to occupy Gaza City.
The conservative leader stated that recent developments have proven he made the right decision earlier this month to suspend German weapons exports to Israel that might be used in Gaza.

I love the clip of Ambass Huckabee with the 2 rabbis (at 19′) where the pseudo-Xian Huckabee has an even more extremist definition of antisemitism than the rabbis.
Rabbis at least have read the book and know that the genealogies of Noah are just fantasy and not based on any kind of historical fact.
What Huckabee says is that antisemitism is identical with siding with the devil against the messiah.

Well, didn’t take long for that dog and pony show to fall apart:

—❗️🇪🇺/🇮🇷/🇺🇳 BREAKING: The E3 has officially initiated the JCPOA’s snapback mechanism against Iran, by sending a letter to the United Nations Security Council
The process will take 30 days before UN sanctions against Iran will officially go into effect. During these 30 days, the E3 will propose a resolution to delay the decision, which will be effectively an ultimatum to Iran that will contain several ‘demands’, such as fully allowing IAEA inspections and severely limiting uranium enrichment.
Iran will almost certainly reject this, leading to the reimposition of UN sanctions and some kind of Iranian diplomatic retaliation.
@Middle_East_Spectator

Now, I’d like to say this is all following the pattern leading up to the invasion of Iraq, when Saddam’s expulsion of IAEA inspectors was the ostensible trigger for the invasion, but Iran is not Iraq and no coalition of the willing is going to go in without getting “shocked and awed” themselves.
Next move Iran? Boot out the inspectors?
Break out the popcorn. Even I am in suspense.

TEHRAN – A high-level informed Iranian source has told the Tehran Times that activating the disputed “snapback” mechanism to reimpose UN sanctions on Tehran would force a “very strong” reaction from Iran, deal a serious blow to global non-proliferation efforts, and permanently destroy the path of diplomacy…
While Iran previously said it would leave the NPT (Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons) if the snapback were triggered, it now appears to believe such a move would mean it should no longer negotiate its nuclear program with the West. “With the activation of the snapback mechanism, neither Iran’s economy nor its internal unity will be destroyed; but the negotiations will certainly be destroyed,” the source said.

Positive it is the Russians invoking their ‘must adhere to international laws’ bs,
one only needs to question why they allow daily attacks from Ukraine/NATO on the Zaporozhzhie NPP, and recently the Smolensk NPP while the IAEA is their pissing and dumping for years, yet zero clue to who’s attacking that could cause a nuclear catastrophe.
The problem with the ‘Russians’ flawed way of thinking is that your enabling your enemies who disregard all international laws to destroy you. After all the ‘laws’ we speak of are ‘man made’, and when your dealing with serpents, working with them makes no logical sense unless you are truly weak and desperate. The Israeli/American/Russian attack on Iranian nuclear facilities (I doubt it really occurred) proves the IAEA is not working as designed, and telling the entire world that it is not legitimate working governing system. Saying that with all its ‘failures and flaws’ is better than not having (re:LoveDonbass) is foolish and makes little sense.
If there is no Israel or America, there will always be enemies, as long as we believe in a 2 minded view, material vs spiritual world. Good vs Evil… etc.

Yeah well like I posted before, Iran weren’t getting anything out of it even by letting them in.
I’m more concerned that they’re so stupid that they’ll keep the IAEA inspectors and continue to allow them to snoop despite that.
Don’t take my word for it, go through the articles I posted, that’s exactly what happened before. Iran allowed the IAEA free reign inside the country even after the US and EU broke the JCPOA. Only finally booted them after the Israeli attack.

As with Russia in Ukraine, Iran has “followed the forms”, which matters to China and many Global South observers.
The entire situation will reinforce Iranian domestic support and vaccinate the leadership from regime change.
Stripping the Zionists of their cultivated public perception of legality and morality is part of the Israeli defeat.
Blowing up Israel is easy. Discrediting Zionism worldwide is total defeat. Until ROW countries kick out Zionist Ambassadors and sanction the entity, the destruction of Israel “the idea” has not been done.
Killing a man is simple. Destroying a mythology much harder.

What the hell is Iran doing?
‘Boot out the inspectors?’
Why were they allowed back in in the first place?
Aragachi said at one point that they (Iran) can’t completely cut them (the IAEA) off at this point in time.
Why not?
The inspectors have now been let back in and immediately the people they work for are calling for the ‘snapback’ sanctions – further acts of war.
‘“No final text has yet been approved on the new cooperation framework with the IAEA and views are being exchanged,” Abbas Araghchi said, in comments cited by the state broadcaster.
He noted that “the changing of the fuel of Bushehr nuclear reactor has to be done under the supervision of inspectors of the international agency”, the state news agency ICANA reported.’
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/8/27/iran-says-no-final-agreement-with-iaea-yet-confirms-watchdogs-arrival
Iran warns nuclear inspections would cease if ‘snapback’ sanctions reimposed
Germany, France, UK apply to reinstate snapback sanctions at UN
https://www.dw.com/en/europe-moves-to-reimpose-snapback-iran-nuclear-sanctions/live-73797848

It only makes sense on Iran’s part if Bushehr is a decoy.
You just said these ‘inspectors’ are working for Israel and the people attempting to destroy you yet you allow them back into your country?
North Korea hasn’t allowed any inspections since 2009 though there was a performance for the plebs back in 2019 whereby Kim was allegedly working with Trump and vowed:
“complete denuclearization” of the Korean Peninsula including the permanent dismantlement of all facilities at the regime’s Yongbyon facility, in the presence of U.S. and IAEA inspectors at his first summit with President Donald Trump last June.”
https://www.koreatimes.co.kr/southkorea/politics/20190212/exclusive-north-korea-agrees-to-iaea-led-inspections-source
Needless to say, that never transpired.
Maybe Iran can persuade N Korea to allow Israel’s inspectors in as well.
I suppose we’ll hear it’s okay because Russia is involved.
Don’t worry, Israel’s inspectors can have a look but they won’t do anything unseemly because some Russians are there.
By the way, where are the inspections inside Israel?
Asking for a friend…

Tragic mishap’? The world saw it live: Israel bombed Nasser Hospital, then bombed the rescuers & journalists pulling people from the rubble. That’s not a mishap, that’s a double tap. 274 journalists killed so far, foreign press still banned & you have the audacity to talk about ‘Valuing journalists’? Dude, this is extermination of witnesses. You will end up in the Hague, come what may.

One wonder why the Yanks even turn up at the UN – the sooner the Yankee empire collapses the better.
“All members of the United Nations Security Council, except the US, have backed a recent declaration of famine in the Gaza Strip’s largest urban area by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), a UN-backed body.
The 14-strong countries offered their confirmation in a joint statement that followed a meeting on Wednesday, less than a week after the IPC issued the grim account on the situation on the ground in the Gaza City and its surroundings.”

Agreed. There’s likely that aspect too. Too much institutionalised inertia and fossil thinking along those lines and not changing course when reality shows you that approach has failed. At the end of the day though, it’s Iran that has the final say, not Russia.

Maybe the world would be better off if everyone thought the same way. But currently it does not, “following the form” one sidedly when the other side does not is foolish.
There’s so much western propaganda anything positive Russia/Iran/China does is drowned out by negative spin.
Here’s some infographics to illustrate:
https://strategic-culture.su/news/2025/08/01/this-how-russia-perceived-europe/
https://strategic-culture.su/news/2025/08/16/this-how-russia-perceived-in-new-world/
https://strategic-culture.su/news/2025/08/07/how-russia-perceived-in-asia/
Take aways:
1. The genocidal Israel is viewed more positively in western countries than Russia who has kept civilian casualties at an all time low.
2. The US is viewed more positively than Russia in most of the world, not just the west!
3. Russia has only reached parity levels with the US in Asia, but this too is ridiculous given US history.

Friend, is it really Iran’s issue that some people take BS and lies seriously?
Being viewed positively doesn’t do much when the Kinzhals and Oreshniks are in flight.
States, certainly civilizational states like Iran, cannot worry about external perception.
Attention/approval seeking are fatal flaws in geopolitics.

Mrs John McCain Meets With Associate

“The WFP Director smiles during a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army of extermination, while the Israeli occupation starves civilians and targets aid teams and UN organizations in Gaza. The UN’s silence has become complicit in the crime.”

Perfect example of western propaganda (or in this case SK version of the same spin).
Western MSM:
Trump wins! North Korea agrees to complete nuclear disarmament!
Reality:
The only denuclearization NK was only willing to do was the dismantling Yongbyon nuclear facility, and that was in exchange for near-total sanction relief first. (There are many other nuclear facilities.) North Korean state media and officials continued to emphasize their nuclear weapons as a “national treasure” and essential for self-defense, never to be given up.
NK stuck to their guns and never flip floped like Iran despite MSM gaslighting.
Great point about Israel also. If there are any IAEA inspections the first should be Israel first and foremost.

I know you think the IAEA inspections are some kind of performance by Iran from your earlier posts.
But they’re not. Iran is really letting the IAEA inspect sites where their nuclear materials are being kept.
There’s no need for spy cameras or hidden microphones. The inspection teams can bring in cameras and all sorts of recording devices openly. They can interview nuclear scientists, spring surprise inspections and all the data gathered gets uploaded to Palantir.
The consequence of letting the IAEA do as they pleased was illustrated very vividly two months ago, and was acknowledged by Iran. Yet Iran is just going to repeat the same thing all over again for what? For some stupid notion of “following the form” that the other side doesnt give a fig about? Its beyond stupid.

Jeremy Corbyn Refuses To Declare Himself An Anti-Zionist (& vid)

“This is simply unacceptable from Jeremy Corbyn. The reality is: he refused to call himself an anti-Zionist because he isn’t one. Corbyn supports the existence of a Jewish supremacist state in historic Palestine. That should invalidate him being leader of the new party…”

I use 2 heuristics at all times. I wouldn’t know how not to use them.
1. Iran has skin in the game and has the most to lose from any action. Second-guessing their decisions is pointless. No one else faces the existential problems that they do. Russia has a similar situation with Ukraine/NATO.
2. Most scenarios reduce to a binary. Iran is either destroyed or it is not. As a civilizational state allied with other civilizational states and playing a crucial economic role for them, I don’t see their destruction as likely.
Is it possible? Sure.
It is also possible that nuclear war kicks off today. It is also possible that today is the day that aliens overtly visit the planet.
Today may be the day that I develop cancer. Today, I may choke on something I ate.
Or all of that may not happen.
Taking every geopolitical moment in isolation leads to overreaction. In context, everything gets smaller and less dramatic.

Iran letting the inspectors in is a sure way for Netanyahu to get the picture – the IDF utterly failed in during the 12 day war.
FYI – A few days ago, a Israeli construction company CEO stated offhand that inside Israel there was more than 1 million tons of building debris due to Iranian strikes in the 12 day war.
