News & views related to the war in Palestine …

Comments

Reposting my comment from the last thread:
Fox News “exclusively obtains copy of first lady’s ‘peace letter’ to Putin”, which urges him to ‘save the children with a stroke of a pen’.
In the initial reports about the letter from the infamous intelligence platform, Reuters, it was stated that the letter was about the Ukranian children “abducted by Russia”. This item was widely carried by various Western msm.
The quotes from the letter published by Fox News do not specify which children the letter is about.
Everyone should read the FN item which I am not going to cite from.
Just two observations:
– The Russian side will not appreciate the publication of any part of the contents, true or false, of this personal letter to the President of Russia. Russia strictly honors diplomatic protocol, agreements and respectful interaction in international relations. Russia does not leak personal letters received or exchanged by highest state officials.
– The content of MTrump’s letter is the absolute climax of hypocrisy imaginable, written also “as a mother”, in light of the daily mass murder and starvation of Palestinian children for almost two full years ! by US/Israel !
There is no bottom to human shamelessness, malice and callousness, as ‘The First Lady’ demonstrates with her painfully contemptible ‘letter of peace”.

Exactly what I was thinking when article appeared.
Could “pen a letter” to Nuttyahoo about Palestinian children.
Only good news, she’ll be lambasted publicly on her X feed.

Speaking of “children”…

“US halts medical visas for Gaza children ahead of Israeli invasion”
Press TV
Highlights:
“It comes a day after an online pressure campaign led by Laura Loomer, a far-right activist and Donald Trump ally.“
After the suspension of the visa program, Loomer claimed victory.
“This is fantastic news,” she wrote in response to the state department announcement. “Hopefully all GAZANS will be added to President Trump’s travel ban. There are doctors in other countries. The US is not the world’s hospital!”
“Massive credit needs to be given to @LauraLoomer for uncovering this and making me and other officials aware. Well done, Laura,” Fine wrote on X.
“The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, a charity based in the United States, urged the Trump administration to “reverse this dangerous and inhumane decision.”

Israel has bombed a power station in Yemen:

Resistance Committees in Palestine:
– We condemn in the strongest terms the new criminal Zionist aggression on the city of Sana’a in Yemen and the bombing of a power station there, which clearly reflects the state of bankruptcy and confusion that the Zionist entity is experiencing, and confirms the failure of all its attempts to confront the qualitative strikes directed by the Yemeni armed forces deep inside the Zionist entity.
– The continuous Zionist targeting of civilian targets in Yemen proves that the Zionist entity is incapable of confronting the Yemeni armed forces and that this criminal entity is only good at attacking civilian capabilities, which demonstrates a major intelligence failure that has dogged it since the launch of the Yemeni Support Front for the Palestinian People and their Resistance in Gaza.

Just this morning in Gaza:

Updated | 14 aid-seekers killed by Israeli forces near Morag and distribution centers in the Gaza Strip.
https://t-me.translate.goog/s/hossamsshbat?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en
[…] In the same period [last 24 hours], at least seven people have starved to death, bringing the total count of hunger-related deaths to 258, including 110 children, the ministry said. […]
The total number of aid seekers killed since May 27, the day Israel introduced a new aid distribution mechanism through the US-backed GHF, has reached 1,938 with more than 14,420 injured, the statement said.

Psychological trauma affects more than one million children in Gaza: Health official
Munir al-Bursh, director general of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, has spoken to Al Jazeera Arabic about the humanitarian situation in the coastal enclave and says:
About 52 percent of medications are out of stock, and there is a severe shortage of blood bags.
There are 44,000 orphaned children and more than one million children suffering psychological trauma in Gaza.

Israel freezes the bank accounts of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in Jerusalem. The only country to notice and object so far is Jordan:

Jordan on Saturday sharply condemned Israel’s decision to freeze all bank accounts of the Greek Orthodox in Jerusalem, calling it part of a broader campaign of violations against Christians in the occupied city.
In a statement, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry denounced “in the strongest terms Israel’s continued assaults — as the occupying power — on Jerusalem’s Christians and the restrictions imposed on them, the latest of which is the freezing of bank accounts belonging to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate.”
The ministry said the move represents “a clear violation of the historical and legal status quo at the Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.”
It reaffirmed Jordan’s “absolute rejection and strong condemnation of Israel’s illegal measures amid its ongoing assaults on Palestinian cities and their holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, in blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.”
Amman stressed that “Israel has no sovereignty over the West Bank and its Arab, Islamic, and Christian holy sites.” […]

Freakish and abnormal people are making the decisions in the US. Laura Loomer, who is a nobody “influencer” has made a decision about who should be allowed into the US for humanitarian reprieve, and Rubio and Trump actually take her advice. Of course, Trump goes to her for guidance on who to fire or hire in governmental positions. That was funny for about 5 minutes, now it’s just strange and scary:

Washington (Quds News Network)- The US State Department has suspended all visitor visas for Palestinians from Gaza. The move came hours after Zionist far-right influencer Laura Loomer raged online against the arrival of severely wounded children in US hospitals.
The children traveled to America for life-saving treatment through HEAL Palestine, a US-registered nonprofit that arranges specialized care.
In a statement on Twitter, the State Department said: “All visitor visas for individuals from Gaza are being stopped while we conduct a full and thorough review of the process and procedures used to issue a small number of temporary medical-humanitarian visas in recent days.”
Loomer tagged Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the department in several posts, demanding that injured Palestinian children be denied care. She published several racist and anti-Palestinian posts targeting injured children, calling them “Hamas.” She wrote: “We don’t want Gazans imported here. They have doctors in other countries.”
HEAL Palestine has worked with American hospitals for years to provide surgeries and long-term treatment for children critically injured in Gaza. The group covers medical costs, housing, and basic needs until recovery.
Dr. Steve Sosebee, founder of HEAL Palestine, told Quds News Network the suspension will cause lasting harm.
“This is very unfortunate, to say the least, because there are tens of thousands of injured children in Gaza who need medical care that’s not available to them there. The United States is one of the few countries that had permitted NGOs like ours to bring kids here for care. Denying these children access to treatment is against all humanitarian and American values,” he said.
Sosebee explained that the organization provides hospitals with sponsorship letters and guarantees that children return to Gaza after recovery. He warned that blocking visas will mean more preventable deaths.
“Denying injured children access to medical care is against all humanitarian and American values. We have traditionally many people that cares for the sick and suffering children of the world, and this decision will result in many more innocent children, dying endlessly”, he said.
The suspension highlights the contradiction in US policy. While it halts medical access for injured children, Washington continues to arm Israel and facilitate more killings in Gaza.
According to Brown University’s Costs of War Project, the US provided $17.9 billion in military aid to Israel from October 2023 to October 2024. A Wall Street Journal report in December 2023 revealed that shipments included 15,000 bombs and 57,000 artillery shells.

Melania wisely avoids stating how many children are involved. Knowing that the western media the letter is targeted at regularly repeat 20k or 35k.
Eventually in June Ukraine came up with a list of children – 2 and a half years after ICC had prosecuted Putin and his Ombudsman over “kidnapped kids.
Only 339 on the list.

Which points could have been made with a sentence or 2 instead of distracting with many paragraphs in 2 Palestine posts about Melania’s letter to Ukraine. (On top of which, we don’t know that she didn’t try to pass a letter to Nutty only to have it dumped in the trash.)

I think we would all be wise to remember that no one in the rulership class cares.
These delusions of the noble politician or benevolent King are delusional.
It’s a cope. Melania doesn’t care about the kids. If she cared, she would have divorced Trump when he was bombing (pick one).
As to the Palestine discussion, each day I look to see if Mary, Arch, Teri, among several others have posted.
I’m emotionally wrung out from Twitter alone, but those posts make me feel better because I understand and appreciate the humanity behind them.
Peace to all but particularly those whose hearts and minds are courageous and genuine.

From TASS:
https://tass.com/world/2003771
TUNIS, August 17. /TASS/. “Hamas has told mediators that it is ready to accept the latest Gaza ceasefire proposal without amendments, the Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper said, citing sources.”
“According to the sources, the Hamas delegation led by Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip Khalil al-Hayya told the Qatari and Egyptian mediators during meetings this week that it had decided to get back to discussing the latest proposal envisaging a 60-day ceasefire, the redeployment of Israeli forces, and the release of ten hostages. Having officially informed the mediators about its new position, the movement allegedly “refused from its earlier amendments related to the withdrawal of troops and a number of other demands linked with the release of Palestinian prisoners that had been advanced by its armed wing,” the sources said.
“The sources link ***this new Hamas’ position to the Israeli plan for occupying Gaza and displacing its residents, which they want to stop.“
According to this, Hamas caved.
Unknown if Israel will accept, but mostly likely will and put all their forces for Lebanon/Iraq war.
Amazing how every time USReal is at its wits end militarily, a life-line is thrown to them.

As usual business takes precedent over lives.
“German military contractor Renk Group, which supplies tank components to Israel, has threatened to bypass the European country’s recent decision to impose an arms embargo on the occupying regime over its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
The company’s CEO, Alexander Sagel, made the remarks in an interview with the Financial Times, days after German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that his administration will not authorize “until further notice” any sale of military equipment that could be used in Israel’s Gaza onslaught.
Sagel said his company had a “responsibility” to ensure Israel can maintain its military capabilities.
He added that Renk was still trying to understand the consequences of Merz’s announcement, noting, however, that the firm was considering other ways of fulfilling its contracts if the ban was confirmed by Germany’s security council.
“It is also clear that we are discussing a plan B. The plan B is that we relocate production of these specific transmissions to the US,” he pointed out.
Asked about the morality of supplying weapons to the Tel Aviv regime, Sagel said it was “a difficult discussion”.
He further said Renk had a contract to provide Israel with “hundreds” of tank gearboxes.
Merz’s announcement was part of a wave of international backlash after the Israeli cabinet voted for an illegal plan to occupy Gaza City.””

“The US State Department is no longer issuing visas for children from Gaza to receive necessary medical care, a move that comes as Israel’s genocidal war and induced famine in the strip reach new extremes, with over 61,800 killed so far, this comes days after Israel said it intended to launch a new onslaught to occupy northern Gaza City, the besieged territory’s largest urban center, in a plan that raised international alarm over the fate of the demolished strip, home to about 2.2 million people.”
However.
There’s some things the US CAN help with, such as the below.
A recent report has revealed that Donald Trump’s administration helped one of the Israeli prime minister’s top cyberwarfare officials evade child sex crime charges, released him, and returned him to Israeli-occupied territories.
Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, the Acting Head of Data & AI at Israel’s so-called National Cyber Directorate, who worked directly under Benjamin Netanyahu, was arrested in Las Vegas on Wednesday after a two-week child predator undercover operation run by the FBI, Homeland Security, and Nevada police.
He was booked into the Henderson Detention Center and charged with luring a child with a computer for a sex act, a felony that carries up to 20 years in prison.
North Star News reported on Sunday that officers involved in the operation confirmed that the Trump administration, at Israel’s request, overrode US law enforcement to ensure Alexandrovich’s swift return to Israeli-occupied territories.
“Despite the Trump administration itself authorizing the sting — Trump’s own team stepped in and blew up their work. They expedited his release and return to [occupied Palestine]. A predator was caught. And then, to protect Netanyahu, he was freed,” the report said.”

More groups are demanding that the US invoke the “responsibility to protect” (R2P) doctrine of the UN and send forces into Gaza to stop Israel’s genocide/ethnic cleansing.
The R2P can override the US and Israel vetos and bypass the security council if enough (2/3 majority) countries vote in favor. In no small irony, the UN failed to get 2/3 vote to end the genocides in Rwanda, Bosnia, and Myanmar, while it voted in FAVOR of implementing it for the 2011 invasion of Libya – which was not committing a genocide against anyone at all. That R2P action killed tens of thousands of innocent Libyans, ruined the major cities in Libya, created a failed state, and assassinated the leader of a sovereign nation.
The details about R2P are given in the following article: https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20250816-only-an-emergency-un-multinational-protective-force-will-stop-israels-genocide/
I see no hope in this route, really, as it appears that most countries want to speak out at UN meetings to play for the cameras, but are deathly afraid of the combination of the US and Israel. It’s hard to blame them. The US and Israel are freakishly rabid and ruthless about slaughtering as many as possible in any country that defies them, and the other countries cannot find a way to coordinate a decisive response. It would take a lot of countries working together in great detail to realistically end this awful thing.
Speaking of rabid invasions, anyone notice that Trump is stationing troops and arms in the Caribbean and around Latin America in preparation for “taking out” some drug cartels?
See here: https://ca.news.yahoo.com/us-military-deploying-over-4-165316470.html
Yeah, a bit off topic, but it serves to stress the “invade with impunity and kill them all” attitude of the US.

@18 RoS
Reminds me of a few years back when an “Israeli” mil raped a brit tourist in Cyprus. She ended up with the judiciary turned against her and the accused, slandering her, he (or it?) allowed to leave the island. Was an important turning point in that it showed who had control or sympathy of the authorities there, i.e. the british were relegated.
Some would rejoice at that, saying it was a form of justice. Not a justice I would choose, and to expect it to serve in the current reality would be to excuse it.
Just look at what the judiciary of the world accept now.
At some point, the populations have to become the law, given that the established versions are absent or totally corrupt.

Three weeks ago Erik Prince accused the IDF of murdering three Christians by deliberately shooting at the Christian cross on the steeple of the church in Gaza (go to 1:50). In his anger, Erik Prince showed disgust towards the IDF and called for US support for the IDF to come to an end.
Now comes the negative media coverage of Erik Prince in the MSM. Benoit Faucon, Middle East Correspondent of the Wall Street Journal, just wrote a hit piece about EP’s new activities. https://www.wsj.com/world/americas/erik-prince-mercenaries-vectus-global-5a166dca
Just about all MSM is biased in favor of Israel, but is Faucon a lot worse than others? I noticed he wrote a story asking for the tariffs against Morocco to be lifted because they were such a loyal ally in the Arab world for Israel. It made me think he might not just be biased but taking orders from the Israeli government communications wing. https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/trump-tariffs-trade-war-markets-04-05-25/card/moroccan-good-deeds-don-t-go-unpunished-by-tariffs-yjo6kuyr35rhgh0EiBAD

From enemywatch:
Not a motivational video or a fabricated emotional provocation, this truly happened in reality. The shortest Friday prayer sermon in Gaza was delivered:
“I cannot speak because of extreme hunger, and you cannot listen because of extreme hunger. Establish the prayer.”
It is happening in 2025, at a time when millions of Muslims are enjoying their plates and wasting food, while also supplying and assisting israel with aid, food, and shipments. When they reach the prayer niche, they repeat a few lines for Gaza and then return back to pack more goods and cargo for Tel Aviv and Haifa.

I’ll always remember the year 2018, migrant children separated from their parents, provisioned aluminum blankets in a hellish Texas detention facility. The incessant wailing must be driving the staff nuts, but there’s hope. Here comes First Lady Melania to virtue-signal for all-round compassion. Almost all-round, at any rate, as the rearview of her coat conveyed her inner sentiments, in an all-caps scrawl down her back:
I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?
This memory sticks hard with me, as people in my own family displayed similar callousness toward migrant children at the time — a deep, painful shock. Melania shows no evidence of being a human with concerns for US American or Mexican or Palestinian or Ukrainian children. If Melania were at least capable of an adequate performance, we could call her peace letter performative.
Every time I see another picture of a starving Palestinian baby, I can’t understand how anyone can stand it. Human beings are too profoundly hard-wired with primal compassion for fellow humans. (The starving baby component of the Palestinian holocaust, finally, renders any future for Zionism impossible.) Normal human beings cannot tolerate mass-torture of infants. But Melania is nothing like a normal human being.

Some 500,000 Israelis packed Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square on Sunday night, demanding an end to the Gaza war and a comprehensive captive-exchange deal, according to organizers. Strike actions and protests spread to Jerusalem, Haifa, Beersheba, and 300+ sites nationwide. Netanyahu has dug in, rejecting any ceasefire without Hamas’s disarmament.

It turns out that Baghdadi is an Alawite who believe in Reincarnation. His Reincarnation as an Alawite, (having previously been reincarnated from a Jew called Shimon Elliot, friend of John McCain , into a Daesh), from being certified dead as a doornail by Trump into being Jewlani’s Interim Foreign Minister for Syria , came as a great shock to his reincarnated braincells and he rushed to Moscow to ask Putin to arm the remaining Alawites, before Jewlani could recycle him again.
It’s tough choice . Do you disbelieve the Potus, or disbelieve Jewlani ?
Jewlani can’t call Trump a liar, so he accepts Baghdadi’ s miraculous Reincarnation and appoints him as his Foreign Minister.
Am I reading this right? Are we saying Trump is a liar and that Baghdadi is the Jewish puppet we always thought him to be? Shocking.
Sorry if this sounds like Kids TV. I didn’t write the script, it was Mossad, MI6 and the CIA.

Arch 34 – there are literally thousands of unexploded US manufactures bombs and bomblets that have dropped on Gaza by the IDF.
Hamas and the PIJ have become very skilled in converting this ordinance into powerful IED’s in Gaza, fully capable of destroyed Merkava’s, APC’s, IFV’s, etc.
The IDF KIA combat toll is now estimated at 5,000 plus, with the WIA count at about 20,000. This is by far the most costly war session since Israel illegally expropriated land from the Palestinian people in the 1947-49 period.

Israel is finally admitting that it killed +50,000 Palestinians on purpose – it wasn’t targeting Hamas.
“The fact that there are already 50,000 dead in Gaza is necessary and required for future generations,” the former head of Israel’s military intelligence told Israeli TV. “For each one (victim) on 7 October, 50 Palestinians have to die,” he continued.

‘They need a Nakba’: Former Israeli intelligence chief calls Gaza death toll ‘necessary’
According to audio recording broadcast by Israel’s Channel 12, Aharon Haliva said mounting death toll will serve as ‘a message for future generations’
The former head of Israel’s military intelligence, who resigned last year for failing to prevent the 7 October attacks, said Palestinians need to face a Nakba “every now and then” and that the spiralling death toll in Gaza is “necessary”.
“The fact that there are already 50,000 dead in Gaza is necessary and required for future generations,” Aharon Haliva said in audio recordings broadcast on Ulpan Shishi, a TV programme which aired on Israel’s Channel 12 on Friday…….

Ex-Israeli intelligence chief said 50 Palestinians must die for every 7 October victim
‘It does not matter if they are children,’ said Aharon Haliva in recorded comments calling the death toll ‘necessary’
The Israeli general who headed military intelligence on 7 October 2023 has said 50 Palestinians must die for every person killed that day and “it does not matter now if they are children”, in recordings broadcast by Israel’s Channel 12 TV station.
Aharon Haliva said the toll in Gaza, which he put at more than 50,000 dead, was “necessary” as a “message to future generations” of Palestinians.
“They need a Nakba every now and then to feel the price,” he added, referring to the mass expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians from their homes and lands after the creation of Israel in 1948. Nakba means catastrophe in Arabic.
Much of Israel’s leadership and media has used genocidal rhetoric about Palestinians since Hamas’s 7 October attacks, including describing them as “human animals”, saying there are “no innocents” in Gaza and calling for Gaza’s total destruction and its ethnic cleansing……..

Israel prepares to move Palestinians to southern Gaza as Israelis urge mass protest over war
NAHARIYA, Israel (AP) — Israel announced Saturday that it is preparing to move Palestinians from combat zones to southern Gaza as plans move ahead for a military offensive in some of the territory’s most populated areas.
The Israeli military body in charge of humanitarian aid to Gaza, COGAT, said the supply of tents to the territory would resume on Sunday. The military said it had no comment on when the mass movement of Palestinians would begin, but Defense Minister Israel Katz said on social media that “we are now in the stage of discussions to finalize the plan to defeat Hamas in Gaza.”

Maybe most people understand alpha beta as a brawl and temporary submission, or more naturally as family respect.
Imagine where submission becomes learned as part of a social order or fabric, eventually automatic and detached.
Imagine if some learn to short that submission reaction, so to claim the ruling position or act it.
Imagine if they use that position to train the submission reaction, the stimulus that will create a reaction.
Imagine if they choose people who have a credible appearance, an aura, to install the stimulus set, to convince people.
Imagine that without being seen to be dominant, they cannot be so.
Imagine that they pick a differentiator to exercise a demonstration of superiority over, usually another weaker.
Imagine that theit actions are based on that, and not any other excuse of presentation.
Imagine that big cities and massacres is all that they could come up with.
Imagine that this has all been studied and not shared, that some are in a position to manipulate leaders and societies for undeclared objectives.

Re. demonstrations in Israel;
A bit off topic – but the general theme is that of populations do have some say –
A story of the Peasant Uprising in Germany in 1525 – as told by Lyndal Roper (history professor at Oxford) – is a masterful description of how the oppressed can revolt – and have power to change history. that Uprising, which happened during the early years of Reformation, can be read as today’s situation – the title is “Summer of Fire and Blood”.
The socio-economic forces, the usury, the Jewish financiers in collusion with religionists – and the massive perception of inequality, of neo-feudalistic practices, are all here today.
The neo-colonial genocide of Palestinians is a symptom of world malaise.

Some might approve of South Asians trying to impose submission on English people , through rape , Alpha Beta village mentality politics , in business, in the same way that some people approve of humiliation of Muslims in West Asia.
The British-made , indigenous Indian administrative classes who collaborated with the Raj , who helped perpetuate the Colonial system, have their equivalent in Sham as described by Laith Marouf in his latest Free Palestine video with Nima.
So, yes it’s a recognised , human social phenomenon which I suspect is being deliberately created in Europe to control their populations now that they don’t have colonies they can kick around.
A new generation of younger Muslims here in Britain has forgotten the 250 years of Colonial oppression which in turn angers their parents who feel that their descendants will forget to take revenge against the British.
In Israel, Netanyahu and his father have managed to deflect the 500 years of Antisemitism in Europe , recorded in the writings of Martin Luther , born 1483, towards the Palestinian Muslims.
That seems to make German and British politicians happy and they suppprt the deflection from themselves. Maybe they deliberately created it. Who knows?

Some folks don’t like my tone at times. Fair enough. I truly believe that you can’t get through to people over uncomfortable or emotional topics by tone policing. Be loud about the uncomfortable facts about Israel and the West, specifically America’s role in committing a genocide, and that, IMO, makes every American who supports the regime complicit. Someone either opposes genocide or they don’t. Very simple moral mathematics.
Anyone who feels offended about talking about genocide and their country’s complicity is not someone whose opinion should matter.

Whenever I read about that, it reminds me in the concentration camps, the food they put in the giant vat, it’s almost all water. I’m referring to World War II now. It’s almost all water, but there are few vegetables, a few vegetables in that vat of soup.
And so, what can you imagine? the people who are lining up, they’re pushing each other. They’re shoving each other because you have to get to the head of the line or it’s just water.
And that’s what they do to the people of Gaza, reducing them to scurrying rats. And then as they go for the food, the Israelis because they’re scared, they’re afraid, they start shooting at the people, killing them as they scramble and scurry for the food.”

Norman Finklestein is an honest rebel.
I wish he had understood that the USUKIS Zionist Genocide is completely different to the German Nazi Genocide because the Palestinians are not only defending their own land, but also defending their shared faith with millions of other Christians and Muslims.
Zionism can kill as many people as it likes , but it cannot kill Islam.
Zionism can never kill its way into converting anybody to its religion in the way that Islam did , because Zionism is just Nazism, brutality for brutality’s sake, like Ukrainian neo-Nazism.
This blog testifies to the fact that the entire world detests Zionism and Nazism.
Norman Finklestein has adopted Trump’s absurd assumption that Palestinians will choose survival over living in their Holy Land. They will not. Nor will anybody else who is Christian or Muslim ever give up their attachment to this Holy Land. We love this land of prophets. The Worshippers of Mammon think killing the existing inhabitants will solve the problem.
The zionist Fascists, a tiny group of European grifters, would have to kill all Muslims and all Christians in the World before they kill the love of Palestine.
It really is the wisdom of Solomon that the real mother of the baby would prefer the baby lives, than for him/her to be cut in half and die.

Israel ‘deliberately starving’ Palestinians in Gaza, Amnesty says amid famine warning
The human rights group says that starvation is ‘part and parcel of Israel’s ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza’
Reading Time:2 minutes
Agence France-Presse
Published: 3:46pm, 18 Aug 2025
Rights group Amnesty International on Monday accused Israel of enacting a “deliberate policy” of starvation in Gaza, as the United Nations and aid groups warn of famine in the Palestinian territory.
Israel, while heavily restricting aid allowed into the Gaza Strip, has repeatedly rejected claims of deliberate starvation in the 22-month-old war.
In a report citing testimonies of displaced Palestinians and medical staff who treated malnourished children, Amnesty said that “Israel is carrying out a deliberate campaign of starvation in the occupied Gaza Strip”.
The group accused Israel of “systematically destroying the health, well-being and social fabric of Palestinian life”.
“It is the intended outcome of plans and policies that Israel has designed and implemented, over the past 22 months, to deliberately inflict on Palestinians in Gaza conditions of life calculated to bring about their physical destruction – which is part and parcel of Israel’s ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza,” Amnesty said.
The report is based on interviews conducted in recent weeks with 19 displaced Gazans sheltering in three makeshift camps, as well as two medical staff in two hospitals in Gaza City.
The Israeli military and foreign ministry did not immediately comment on Amnesty’s findings.
In a report issued last week, the Israeli defence ministry’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, a body overseeing civil affairs in the Palestinian territories, rejected claims of widespread malnutrition in Gaza and disputed figures shared by the health ministry in the Hamas-run territory.
In April, Amnesty accused Israel of committing a “live-streamed genocide” against Palestinians by forcibly displacing Gazans and creating a humanitarian catastrophe in the besieged territory, claims that Israel dismissed at the time as “blatant lies”.
UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric last week warned that starvation and malnutrition in Gaza were at the highest levels since the war began.
The UN says that nearly 12,000 children under five were found to have acute malnutrition in July – including more than 2,500 with severe malnutrition, the most dangerous level. The World Health Organization says the numbers are likely an undercount.
In the past three weeks, Israel has allowed around triple the amount of food into Gaza than had been entering since late May. That followed 2½ months when Israel barred all food, medicine and other supplies, saying it was to pressure Hamas to release hostages taken during its 2023 attack that launched the war.
The new influx has brought more food within reach for some of the population and lowered some prices in marketplaces, though it remains far more expensive than pre-war levels and unaffordable for many.
While better food access might help much of Gaza’s population, “it won’t help the children who are severely malnourished”, said Alex DeWaal, executive director of the World Peace Foundation at Tufts University, who has worked on famine and humanitarian issues for more than 40 years.
When a person is severely malnourished, vital micronutrients are depleted and bodily functions deteriorate. Simply feeding that person can cause harm, known as “refeeding syndrome”, potentially leading to seizures, coma or death. Instead, micronutrients must first be replenished with supplements and therapeutic milk in a hospital.

What fervour? What powerful actions? Israel has never been as free to dispossess, segregate and ethnically cleanse Palestinians as it is today. The fact that the war crimes are so well documented attests to Israel’s narrative dominance. Political opposition in Europe and North America, from where Israel draws its subsistence, is at best timid and at worst discouraged and repressed.
Seeing some exalted victory where there clearly is only violence and injustice is poor taste, as I have expressed above to LoveDonbass @64. It is also quite counterproductive. Israel isn’t going to disappear just because you will it that way on this forum.

Zamir said Israel is “preparing for the complexities in relocating residents” and “preparing a set of tools to encourage them to leave the city” and go to what he called “humanitarian areas”.
The army chief said the Israeli military will enter and occupy Gaza City once the forced evacuation process is complete.[…]

The UN has already said it is illegal, you Zionist dimwit:

Huckabee says Israel’s settlement plan in occupied West Bank ‘not a violation of international law’: Report
Israeli Army Radio is reporting that the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, has said he does not oppose the Israeli government’s plan to illegally build thousands of homes in a highly controversial development in the occupied West Bank.
The plans for the E1 area settlement project that would connect occupied East Jerusalem with the existing illegal Israeli settlement of Maale Adumim, located several kilometres (miles) to the east, “is a decision for the government of Israel to make”, Huckabee said.
“We would not try to evaluate the good and the bad of that, but simply just say that, as a general rule, it is not a violation of international law,” he is reported as saying.

Doctors in one Palestinian hospital are now forced to take care of patients while standing in sewage:

Video: Israeli Attacks Destroy Septic System at Gaza’s Nasser Hospital, Flooding Facility with Sewage
Gaza (Quds News Network)- The management of Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza said the raw sewage is obstructing the work of staff due to ongoing Israeli attacks, further worsening the suffering in Gaza’s already devastated healthcare system.
Severe damage to the sewage lines, resulting from ongoing Israeli attacks, has caused the waste to flood directly into the hospital and its surrounding complex, the management said.
Iyad Barhoum, the hospital’s administrative director, said that the Israeli army is preventing technical crews from reaching these lines for repair, exacerbating the crisis and negatively affecting the health services provided to patients.
The Israeli military has repeatedly targeted southern Gaza’s largest hospital since the start of the assault.
On Wednesday,UN experts stated that Gaza’s healthcare system has been the subject of targeted destruction by the Israeli military, which amounts to “medicide”, accusing Israel of deliberately attacking and starving healthcare workers, paramedics and hospitals to wipe out medical care in the enclave. […]
“Health and care workers have been continuously targeted, detained, tortured and are now, like the rest of the population, being starved,” they added.

The US Congressmen who visit Israel are given automatic Israeli citenzenship. I wonder how many of them will volunteer to serve, and if they do so, will they be tried for treason for serving in a foreign army?

Israeli army seeks Jewish youth from abroad amid soldier shortage
Israel’s military is weighing a plan to enlist Jewish youth from abroad to offset what officials describe as a severe shortage of soldiers, Army Radio reported Monday.
The broadcaster said the army is exploring outreach to Jewish communities in the diaspora to convince young people to join its ranks.
The move comes as the military struggles with a shortfall of 10,000 to 12,000 troops, driven largely by the refusal of ultra-Orthodox Jews, or Haredim, to serve. […]
According to the Army Radio, the military intends to target major Jewish communities abroad, particularly in the US and France, with the aim of adding around 700 recruits each year. […]

How Palestinian women are treated as prisoners in the Israeli system:

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported a series of abusive practices perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian female detainees in the notoriously harsh conditions of Damon Prison.
The report documents four separate incidents that occurred during the first half of August, highlighting the physical and psychological torture inflicted upon these women.
According to the PPS report, Israeli forces utilised police dogs, deployed tear gas, and engaged in degrading practices intended to break the detainees’ spirits. The incidents were recorded on 4, 8, 10, and 14 August. Testimonies collected by the PPS during field visits reveal that the women were shackled, forced to bow their heads, and paraded around the prison yard in a manner designed to humiliate and degrade them.
In addition to these direct assaults, the living conditions for Palestinian women in Damon Prison remain dire. Chronic food shortages, substandard meals, and infestations have led to widespread skin diseases among the prisoners. These issues are exacerbated by oppressive heat, high humidity, and insufficient ventilation. Access to essential hygiene and personal care items is heavily restricted by Israeli authorities, further magnifying the suffering of the detainees.
Currently, 48 Palestinian women are held in detention, including teenagers and one pregnant prisoner nearing her due date. The PPS asserts that these attacks are not isolated incidents but rather indicative of a longstanding and systematic policy employed by the Israeli prison system against Palestinian prisoners—a policy that has intensified in severity since the onset of the Israeli military actions in Gaza.
The Prisoners’ Society warns that conditions for female detainees are tragic and increasingly untenable. Despite their efforts to resist these oppressive measures through collective resilience, they continue to endure significant violations of their most basic rights.

Aw, lookie here; Israel offers humanitarian aid to South Sudan if they will take the Palestinians. Why would South Sudan ever believe that Israel would give them anything? The whole world watches as South Sudan starves to death along with Palestine – the only difference being that Israel/US is causing the starvation of Gaza on purpose, while they simply could not care less about South Sudan. The US is involved in the split between Sudan and South Sudan – we wanted to divide the oil-rich area from the oil-deficit area. And given that neither north nor south can feed the people they have, why would they take in a million more people?
“Israel stands by its friends in their time of need.” It is to retch.

Israel will deliver “urgent humanitarian aid” to South Sudan to tackle the country’s health crisis, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said in a press release, amid reports that Tel Aviv is in discussions with the country over the possible resettlement of Palestinians from Gaza.
“South Sudan is currently struggling with a cholera outbreak and facing a severe shortage of resources,” Haaretz reported the Foreign Ministry saying in a statement.
“The aid will include essential medical supplies for treating patients, water purification equipment, gloves and face masks, as well as special hygiene kits to prevent cholera,” the statement said.
“Israel stands by its friends in their time of need.”
Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel visited South Sudan last week, a day after the reports on the talks to discuss the resettlement of forcibly displaced Palestinians. South Sudan denied the reports.

Then why are you so concerned about what we think or say?
Israel is destroying itself better than thousands of us ever could.
The Zionists are pariahs and that won’t wash off.
Moral outrage is slow to build but can collapse governments once engaged.
As always, I ask, what is Israel’s path out of this?
How do we get back to people partying in Tel Aviv or doing historical tours of ancient sites?
How do we get back to Jews immigrating?
If Israel can’t stop Iranian missiles and cannot silence the world, then they are done. Yesterday, tomorrow, next year. It’s an inevitably now. They have no power and America is at its weakest since WW2.
They mass murder kids.
If they just killed adult men claiming they are Hamas, that would have been different but they starve little girls to death.

I respect Finkelstein quite a bit. It takes tremendous courage and resolve to confront your ethnic in-group as he does.
But he is still a Jew and struggles to reconcile that Judaism is and always has been toxic due to the Talmud.
The history of the Jews goes back much further than WW2.
Their reputation was already well established a thousand years ago (two thousand?).
Torah, from God.
Talmud, from men.
That is why I am a Muslim. The Quran is obviously divinely inspired. No human, and certainly at that time, could reveal such scientific insights.
When men try to perform as God, madness and tragedy ensues.

I don’t mean to be flippant, but in Democratic systems the level of USUKIS lies that are now in the public domain is unsustainable. Maybe you don’t live in a Democracy , but I do. Lying in public is only sustainable if the majority of people are ignorant or deliberately silent. In Britain, that is no longer the case. Couples are on holiday and have time to discuss reality, which in their workplace they’re forced to deny.
Maybe you live in the US, where money and lies are printed like QE and nobody has any control over it.

“The genocidal israeli military is hiding the real number of casualities”
The amount of casualties in the israeli army is much higher than reported. Israel has supposedly suffered 898 deaths and 6134 injuries. But the department of rehabilitation has already treated some 80,000 cases in march 2025. Ex army chief Moshe Yalon has said that as much as 15,000 israeli soldires died or were injured.

Nobel only gives the Peace Prize to those that tow-the-Western narrative – I wouldn’t surprised if Netanyahu was awarded it, after all they gave it to Obama in 2009, his entire two-terms he was at war, and before that they gave it to Kissinger, who help keep the Vietnam war going – and that cost many more lives.
“The organizers of one of Italy’s most prominent international trade exhibitions have barred the Israeli regime from this year’s event on grounds of ethical and political concerns over Tel Aviv’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The decision was reported by the Italian news agency ANSA on Sunday.
Nuova Fiera del Levante, as the exhibition is named, is scheduled to be held in the southern Italian city of Bari from September 13 to 21. The ban was confirmed after the city’s mayor, Vito Leccese, demanded that the regime be excluded.
In a July 1 statement, Leccese had declared the fair should “not let Israel participate in the event, institutional, and economic activities.”
The event’s organizing committee not only endorsed the mayor’s call, but also went further, issuing a condemnatory statement.
“For a commonality of ethical and political views, the Nuova Fiera del Levante has from the outset expressed a clear distancing from the atrocities of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people and has supported the initiative to propose the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize to the children of Gaza,” it wrote.”

The Brits are up to their necks in genocide – and their leaders must stand trial for it.
“Thousands of Palestinian activists surrounded Britain’s Royal Air Force (RAF) High Command in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire protesting at the RAF’s role in the genocide in Gaza.
On Saturday, demonstrators protested outside the RAF High Command with a huge red banner to show it had crossed a red line with its spying operations.
From here, RAF gives orders to all of its flights. We know that the RAF has been aiding and abetting the Israeli state from its base in Cyprus, from conducting spy flights, from refueling, from having military aircraft land at the Cyprus RAF Akrotiri base, and being a supporter for the genocide that’s occurring in Gaza.”

After a shower, I have more thoughts on Finkelstein.
Max Blumenthal has grown on me slowly. I have mad respect for him for finding Iranian Jews during a visit there and praying among them.
I don’t know a lot about his religious convictions, but he clearly isn’t all-in on the Talmud.
Bad (antisocial and dangerous) ideas can cause as much havoc as a massive detonation. It is certainly more insidious.

This is not just about Palestine.
It never was.
It’s about what kind of world we are willing to live in.
One where entire populations can be displaced, starved, bombed, and erased, while the powerful demand applause, immunity, and moral high ground.
Gaza is not just a crime scene.
It is a test.
And most of the world is failing it.

I don’t belong to twitter or telegram, but have been able to view some of their content.
Telegram “open” channels, such as intel slava, presstv & middle east spectator, do periodically close to nonmembers & then re-open a few weeks later.
But Saba.ye is a private website.
And what struck me was they all closed to me simultaneously. Including Saba.ye.
Also “fortros” telegram channel. Forgot that one!

Update from Hani…still operating! Sadly, he lost 2 cousins: 1 collecting aid & 1 protecting aid from looting. Dreading the threatened invasion.
https://www.gofundme.com/f/Hot-meals-in-gaza-daily
A quick update from me — and from Gaza. I know it’s been a little while, and I appreciate your patience. Things remain unbearably hard.
There’s a little good news: for the first time in months, rice is back in our kitchens. It feels like a feast here. On any given day, up to eight community kitchens are cooking, and when one takes a day off, another keeps going. People are fed because you make it possible.
We’ve also restarted distributing food parcels. Yesterday was our first run — about $35 each, filled with half a dozen essential groceries for families too far from our kitchens to get a hot meal.
And then there’s our Gaza Solidarity Klinic. Every single day, about 80 people walk through its doors. They come for first aid, primary care, or relief when there’s no hospital bed and no medicine elsewhere.
One father came in after being hit with shrapnel while waiting for aid distribution; our nurse cleaned and stitched his wound so he could walk home alive. Another mother brought her child, malnourished, feverish, and weak from days without proper food. The Klinic gave the child care and attention — and gave the mother hope.
And our classroom with Ms. Fatma keep teaching the little ones and giving them a safe space to grow and learn. These are just two stories. There are dozens more every day.
But grief is never far. We recently laid our cousin Sameeh to rest — killed alongside 15 others while waiting for aid. And earlier this month, another cousin, who had volunteered to protect aid from being looted, was shot dead by Israeli fire. The cruelty is relentless.
People now brace for what everyone fears: another invasion. We’ve seen this pattern before. Headlines fade. The world looks away. And then, when Israel thinks no one is watching, the bombs return with even greater force. It’s a cruel rhythm — perfected over decades — where suffering becomes background noise, and the next massacre comes once the “reset” has happened. That is why I keep telling these stories, even when the media won’t.
Silence is the soil where violence grows. Still, through all of this, our team is mobilized, motivated, and deeply human. They keep cooking, delivering water, handing out food parcels, and staffing the Klinic — because families have nowhere else to turn.
UNRWA remains active on the ground, responding, but not at the scale or level it wants to be.

From Youseff Fares:
*Press Release*
Hamas and the Palestinian factions have announced their approval of the proposal presented to them yesterday by the Egyptian and Qatari mediators.
*Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas*
Monday: 24 Safar 1447 AH
corresponding to: August 18, 2025 AD
Official Website – Hamas Movement
Almog Boker – Channel 12:
According to reports, this is the offer presented to Hamas :
1- The release of 10 living prisoners and 18 bodies.
2- The entry of aid into Gaza through humanitarian organizations, the Red Crescent, and the United Nations.
3- A 60-day ceasefire.
4- Negotiations to end the war will begin with the ceasefire taking effect.
5- An Israeli withdrawal to a depth of approximately 1,000 meters in the northern and eastern parts of the Strip—except for the neighborhoods of Shuja’iyya and Beit Lahia.
6- In exchange for the release of 10 living prisoners, Israel is supposed to release 140 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences and 60 prisoners serving sentences of more than 15 years.
7- For each body, 10 Palestinian bodies will be handed over.
8- The release of all Palestinian minors and women.

Posted by: JB | Aug 18 2025 18:06 utc | 96

The decision by Hamas not to insist on adherence to the existing ceasefire agreement, which stipulated an end to the conflict, which was broken by “Israel” and US, and the acceptance of a partial ceasefire, appears reasonable given the subsequent:
– Implementation of an open policy starvation on the whole population of Gaza
– Complete international unwillingness and failure to address that in any meaningful way, and to respond to a continuing genocide.
Neither of those can have been foreseen by Hamas, and the only reasonable reaction is to attempt to assure a stabilisation of the means of the population.
Needless to say, there are those in “Israel” and amongst its supporters who are reluctant to allow any pause in the current direction.
As noted somewhere, we will now be hearing of:
Members close to
Sources in
Unnamed officials
Representatives involved
Etc.
It appears that:
“Israel” was involved in the proposal without sponsoring it.
The proposal is close to identical to previous “Israeli”/US proposals that followed their breaking of the original ceasefire.
“Israel” will approach the proposal as if it were a new offer to it, meaning to study its acceptance with no relation to anterior agreements, offers or similar.
Meaning, Hamas agreement is with Arab initiative, ostensibly with “Israeli” and US oversight. It is not agreement to an openly presented “Israeli” or US offer.
And so we are obliged to be patient, and also must remain skeptical. We have that luxury, the population of Gaza do not, are pushed and pulled by every announcement and suggestion that might mean an end to the suffering and atrocity.
Below are excerpts from various sources that give a sense to what is occuring:

– After Trump’s last speech,
I said that what is happening is nothing more than a suspicious Arab effort. And here this effort appears at a time when Israel is experiencing the largest wave of demonstrations to end the war. Suddenly, speeches and proposals are pouring in… but the strange thing is that they are all directed only at the Arabs, as if they are calming recipes to please whom?!
Is it to silence the people of Gaza who are searching for hope amidst the destruction?
Or to please Netanyahu so that news gets out in Israel that there are cooked and ready proposals, so that the Israeli street will shake off its anger and the anger of the families of the prisoners who have become a burden on Tel Aviv’s economy after their last strike will calm down?
It’s a vortex more complex than the vortex of an atheist… You don’t understand that they are traitors who are selling us out, you don’t understand that they are deceived, you don’t understand that they are involved, and you don’t even understand who is playing with whom.
But the one constant is: everyone is working on us, and Palestinian blood has become a bargaining chip between politicians.
– Channel 12, citing an informed security source:
It is appropriate to return to negotiations after Hamas’s response.
– An Egyptian source told Al-Arabiya TV:
Israel will receive Hamas’s response through mediators tonight.
• Journalist Ayman Hanideq
– Channel 12, citing a political official:

Mirroring the Ukraine situation, Trump is tone deaf to what is happening on the ground.
Hamas is brutally killing IDF.
He’s trying to play hardball with his demands, repeated by Israel.
The issue is, as is so common today, that Trump cannot enforce his demands.
It’s all going to come down to Iran’s next move, and that may be predicated on NATO deployment to Azerbaijan.
I feel like Israel will wait for NATO before attacking Iran again. It is coming—this month, next week, this year.
And what happens in Lebanon. If Hezbollah is pushed too far, will they start offensive operations against the IDF, forcing Israel to cover multiple land fronts simultaneously?

Okay, so that child pedophile from the cyber unit in Israel, who was allowed to return to Israel? It seems that no-one can really explain what happened there, except that out of the 8 arrested, he was the only one who was allowed to keep his passport. So after a short detention, he headed to the airport and flew back to Pedophiles-R-Us.
Read all the way to the end of this article; in a “country” of about 8 or 9 million people, the number of children molested and the number of molesters is absolutely astounding. Grossly astounding.
There is also a photo of the guy at the top of the article. (No, not the photo of Marco Rubio. I assume that is included because the investigation involved the State Dept, although looking at the two next to each other, add a photo of Vance, and you’ve got a real troika of “type”.)

Washington (Quds News Network)- The US State Department denied any government intervention in the release of Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, a top Israeli cyber official arrested in Las Vegas. Officials said Alexandrovich was given a court date for charges related to soliciting sex from a minor. He did not claim diplomatic immunity, as he was not on an official diplomatic trip, and was released by a state judge pending trial.
Alexandrovich, 38, is Acting Head of Data & AI at Israel’s National Cyber Directorate. He reports directly to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and oversees critical Israeli infrastructure, including power grids, airports, and intelligence networks. He also founded Israel’s multi-million-dollar “Cyber Dome” initiative, which uses AI to detect and repel cyber threats.
Las Vegas police, working with the FBI, Homeland Security, and Nevada’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested eight men on Wednesday. All faced charges of luring children for sexual acts. Alexandrovich was the only one of them who was released quickly on bail without his passport seized, allowing him to return to Israel.
Israeli media reported only that he was “briefly detained for questioning,” omitting further details about the felony charges or the multi-agency investigation.
Child protection groups warn Israel has a growing pedophile problem. The 2023 report by the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel found that 36% of sexual offence complaints involved incest. Complaints about crimes against children reached 70% of cases.
The Matzof Association, which monitors pedophiles in the occupation state of Israel, reports tens of thousands of offenders and about 100,000 victims annually. Reports say Israel has become a safe haven for sexual predators.
