Ok, I think you meant ~no one in power? I would guess there are majorities or near majorities in southern states and flyover states who would celebrate if Washington DC and New York left the chat. NYC went under a long time ago, and why I left. Posted by: LightYearsFromHome | Jul 9 2025 20:46 utc | 34 The course of the Ukraine conflict shows that innocent citizens and criminals alike can be activated for subversive activities. Modern means of communication enable the beneficiary to do this without physically setting foot in another state. Exactly! I saw the big (rotten) apple in 1966. Even then it looked and felt like a place whose best days were behind it. Also there was an feeling of being in a place inhabited by people who were fundamentally different, and not in a good way. In contrast despite the different language, the people of Baja California seemed quite familiar and normal. From this perspective, it shows that Russia is struggling either on the front or internally, by trying to either force a breakthrough, or get Ukraine to negotiate. As horrific as it is, using chemical WMD’s signals that Russia lacks the conventional means in a capacity to win the war. Posted by: 1234 | Jul 9 2025 21:45 utc | 39 Muh Russia weak

To the point where RF’s strikes on Ukraine grow ever more fearsome as DJT impotently emits his narcissist rage, this Wednesday. Patrick Lawrence speaks of Trump “dead ending” Putin:

Could be traps, or Ukraine is finally feeling the manpower squeeze, and simply cannot defend every inch anymore. This was/is inevitable. The only real question is when does Ukraine finally break – this summer, this fall, or early next year?
