‘Cognitively mad’ Trump insults Putin, refuses to negotiate, shows true ‘imperial ambitions’. We are closing in on the ‘the Oreshnik moment.’

Is there any possibility the Ukronazis will not be totally steamrolled by the mighty, world historic and noble Russians?
I know the answer, but I thought I’d poll the sad, sad nafo trolls (where did they go?) on their recent cope strategies.
Have you learned your lessons about Bandera, US imperialism and Russia yet? You idiots fucked your country royally!

Iskander strikes reported on Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities in Odessa region
After a massive night attack on the Ukrainian Armed Forces infrastructure deep in the rear, Russian military personnel continued to carry out pinpoint strikes on identified enemy targets on Ukrainian territory.
Thus, according to reports from Russian near-war publics, the strikes rockets “Iskander” were delivered to targets in Odessa region. Around 13.00:XNUMX Moscow time, explosions were heard in the wider area near Odessa and in Zatoka. There was also mention of a strike near the village of Tuzly in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district of Odessa region.
It is not reported which specific objects of the Kyiv regime were hit by the Iskanders. At the same time, the strike on Zatoka is confirmed by Ukrainian publics. Local residents write about a powerful explosion and a column of smoke rising from the landing site.
Let us recall that during today’s night attack, the Russian Armed Forces hit a number of targets in Western Ukraine. According to a report from the Russian Defense Ministry, the Kinzhal missiles were used to precisely strike enemy airfields.
There were also reports of multiple hits to the Motor plant in Lutsk, which repairs rocket engines.
It is worth noting that in recent months, the Russian military has been systematically increasing the number of strikes on Kyiv regime targets throughout Ukraine. Against this backdrop, the American administration, which promised to achieve a diplomatic solution to the conflict, has promised new arms supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including anti-aircraft missiles for missile defense systems.

Yet a few weeks ago we had an unholy mix of doomsters, gloomsters and cheap lager-swigging NAFO trolls all strutting and crowing over a few burning car tyres at Russian airbases, following a “spectacular” strike against decommissioned Russian aircraft…
So, gentleman, ladies and undecideds of that ilk, has that attack slowed down Russia’s mission tempo, or caused it to deviate in any noticeable manner? Or are we seeing a prolonged and ever-increasing “retaliation”, which actually isn’t a retaliation but a continued fulfilment of plans that were already in place?

From all appearances, DJT wants his cake and eat it, too.
Will supply the Ukies with ‘some’ defensive weapons. The Patriot cupboard is getting empty but maybe sending a few more missiles might quiet domestic critics.
I doubt it. He is approaching ‘tar and feather’ territory.

Member of the Ukrainian Rada, Mariana Bezuglaya has been outspoken before; here she weighs in on the Russian strikes on the TCC offices and the corruption therein:

Blow to the TCC: what’s wrong with the recruitment system
Regarding Russia’s strikes on the TCC-SC and in general
– Yes, on the one hand, there are large-scale information and psychological operations of the enemy (IPSO), which were joined by physical aggression in order to weaken the mobilization process.
– On the other hand, the reaction of the population is so different, often favorable to Russian-themed IPSOS, not only because of the Russians, but also because no one has undertaken to reform the TCC-SC, withdraw it from the ground forces, clean it up, take away uncharacteristic functions, stop beating people and finally systematically work out the frenzied level of corruption inside these monsters of the army system – PEOPLE HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THE INSTITUTE.
– Former military commissar Gorbach is still Syrsky’s right-hand man and the main personnel officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Syrsky himself headed the Ground Forces for five years and is personally to blame for the state of the direction. How can you not reach out to yourself?
– It should also be understood that tough, scooping, thoughtless, indiscriminate and corrupt coercion has worked, covered basic needs in the absence of alternative system solutions, but it has exhausted its ideological, organizational and ethical resource, eventually turning into a bussing pipeline for the production of SPF and spending public funds with a minimum efficiency factor.
A small example of the stupidity and lies that prevail in the system of TCC-SC’s is the message of the Vinnytsia TCC, which noted that due to Russian attacks, it suspends its activities, and at the same time immediately published new addresses for receiving citizens. so what did you change? Will it arrive at a new or old address? But that’s not all.
After they were directly pointed out this stupidity, no one admitted the mistake, and I quote:
“Three hours ago, on the official page of the Vinnytsia TCC-SC, a message was published about the functioning of the territorial recruitment and social support center at the legal address. The information contained in it was redacted due to outside interference.”…
“At the same time, we officially inform you that the Vinnytsia OTCC and the SC have nothing to do with the addresses of reception of citizens previously indicated in social networks and media.”
If the President doesn’t take it up at last… I don’t know what else is going to happen, Vladimir Alexandrovich.
We need a systematic REFORM of the army, not fraud!

Bezuglaya again:

It turned out inconveniently: Zelensky boasted about the success of interceptor drones, which… They haven’t even started using it yet
Zelensky said today that interceptor drones are already shooting down Geraniums, but People’s Deputy Mariana Bezuglaya denied the overdue victory.
“You want to submit Umerov to the Minister of Defense again. He lied to you that he was buying interceptor drones, do you know?.. Only now have small, trial contracts followed. A little bit.
Contracted drones still don’t shoot down anything, because contracts have only been formalized, and then by coercion, because of scandals,” Bezuglaya wrote.
Yes, he knows everything perfectly well, and that’s why Umerov is loved. Who else organizes so many kickback schemes?

That doesn’t amount to WW3, just a major European war.
Prerequisites for a “real” WW3:
1) Russia must be the aggressor
2) One of the “old” NATO core countries must be attacked
England is in the process of constructing a corresponding scenario in which it is not directly involved, only the European continental countries. Hence the Baltic Sea, that’s where it will start.

But I don’t think it will come to that. It will probably come to a major European war (without nukes).
– Oreshniks will tame the Europeans
– no one in the US (except a few completely misguided senators who talk about winning such) wants to see nukes dropped in Washington and New York.

Proxy War: US Regime Change in the Russian Federation
https://www.counterpunch.org/2025/07/08/proxy-war-us-regime-change-in-the-russian-federation/
‘Contrary to the official story, America’s proxy war on Russia did not begin in 2022 but in fact some 75 years earlier.
“It is hard to find a single story on the screens or pages of the MSM that reveals the factual truth about the background of the US global warmongering project and geopolitical and economic interests in Ukraine and eastern Europe or the fictions upon which Russophobia was constructed.
Hence, there is no context in their writing about Ukraine and Russia. The news angle on Ukraine is typically cast as a struggle for democracy, even though that country is widely recognized outside the MSM
as an illiberal and fiercely corrupt oligarchy…”

New strikes reported:

Russian troops are carrying out attacks using UAVs against enemy targets in border regions and elsewhere.
There are reports that by this minute several Russian Geraniums have reached objects in the Zhitomir area. Let us recall that some time ago the Ozernoye airfield was attacked there, where several fires broke out as a result of the hits. According to some information, new arrivals are also there.
According to the latest information, Gerani are working on objects in Shostka, Sumy. Attacks are also underway drones against targets in the north of the Chernihiv region, as well as directly in the area of the regional center.
At the same time, local publics write that the group drones headed “to the Kiev region”. It is quite possible that we are talking about those UAVs that later attacked objects in the Zhitomir region – mentioned above.
Russian Armed Forces drones reported over Poltava region. The enemy writes that UAVs are flying from the northern direction:
Kremenchug – alarm.
Kharkiv publics:
Russians hit Pechenegs. Fire broke out at one of the facilities.
Pechenegi is an urban-type settlement to the east of Kharkov.
Alarm. Shahed (that’s what the Geranium drones are called in Ukraine) is on Shevchenkovo.
Shevchenkovo is 24 km southeast of the urban-type settlement of Pechenegi.
Let us recall that the Ukrainian Armed Forces claim that last night Russian troops used more than 720 long-range drones. Some of them reached objects in the Volyn region. Then Russian drones descended on the same place. missiles, including hypersonic “Daggers”.

That comes across as US-centric over-dramatisation. Sure, the global skim scam of financialisation would be heavily traumatised, but those nations who have developed their own energy, raw material and manufacturing resources, and who trade bilaterally with other nations without US$ intermediation would come through with their position likely strengthened, certainly when compared with the northern part of the western hemisphere.

The course of the Ukraine conflict shows that innocent citizens and criminals alike can be activated for subversive activities. Modern means of communication enable the beneficiary to do this without physically setting foot in another state.
If Russia had any hope of terror in Germany, websites offering money-for-action deals would probably be going online all the time. Of course, these would not be Russian sites, but ‘The Saviours of the Earth’ and so on.
Set a fire there … or do this or that, send proof (films of yourself) and collect bitcoins etc….
I have no doubt that such or similar methods could be successfully practised in Germany. You can’t monitor everything.
You could also look for suitable candidates on social media, supported by AI, and then contact them directly.
‘Climate protectors’ can certainly be used, as their actions already show.

Also there was an feeling of being in a place inhabited by people who were fundamentally different, and not in a good way. In contrast despite the different language, the people of Baja California seemed quite familiar and normal.

The Senior Deckchair Attendant is in charge of the Titanic:

Zelenskyy returning Zaluzhnyi to Kyiv, reason named
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planning a large-scale rotation of Ukrainian diplomats – up to 20 decrees on the dismissal and appointment of new Ambassadors are expected in the near future, in particular in the G7 and G20 countries.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced this on Ukrainian Radio.
“I will confirm to you that the vision of the President of Ukraine is to carry out a rotation in all countries of both the G7 and G20. That is, first of all, to strengthen these countries, including the US track. Therefore, this is really on the agenda now,” Sybiha noted.
He added that we should expect about 20 decrees from the President of Ukraine, which will dismiss and appoint new Ambassadors of Ukraine.
Among the possible solutions are the replacement of Oksana Markarova as Ambassador to the US and the return of individual figures to Ukraine, including Valerii Zaluzhnyi, who still officially remains the Ambassador to the UK.
According to Minister Sybiha, the replacement of Zaluzhnyi and other Ambassadors should strengthen Ukraine’s positions in the host countries.

Russia getting increasingly desperate by pulling out every weapon that’s short of nuclear bombs. From this perspective, it shows that Russia is struggling either on the front or internally, by trying to either force a breakthrough, or get Ukraine to negotiate. As horrific as it is, using chemical WMD’s signals that Russia lacks the conventional means in a capacity to win the war.
I’ve always maintained the opinion that the end is near for Russia. At some point Russia will crack internally (elites) or their economical capability to sustain war will deplete. Whichever happens first Ukraine will prevail, 100%.

Numerous observers detect a turning point in the Trump/Putin relationship, over the past week. To the point where RF’s strikes on Ukraine grow ever more fearsome as DJT impotently emits his narcissist rage, this Wednesday. Patrick Lawrence speaks of Trump “dead ending” Putin:

No progress toward a durable settlement to end the war in Ukraine. Talk and desultory diplomatic contacts with a view to repairing the profligate damage successive American administrations have done to U.S.–Russian relations, but no substantive advances. O.K., it is what it is, as we say. But there was something singularly conclusive about the telephone conversation the U.S. and Russian leaders had last Thursday.
I detect that a dead end has been reached.

Andrei Martyanov cites “the mechanism” at the onset of narcissist rage, a diagnostic description from a standard reference which sounds absolutely spot-on, which Andrei summarizes as “small dick syndrome”:

Yet, deep inside, the narcissist is aware that his life is an artifact, a confabulated sham, a vulnerable cocoon. The world inexorably and repeatedly intrudes upon these ramshackle battlements, reminding the narcissist of the fantastic and feeble nature of his grandiosity. This is the much-dreaded Grandiosity Gap. To avoid the agonizing realization of his failed, defeat-strewn, biography, the narcissist resorts to reality-substitutes. The dynamics are simple: as the narcissist grows older, his Sources of Supply become scarcer, and his Grandiosity Gap yawns wider. Mortified by the prospect of facing his actuality, the narcissist withdraws ever deeper into a dreamland of concocted accomplishments, feigned omnipotence and omniscience, and brattish entitlement.

I guess I am seeing the souring of Trump/Putin relationship as Trump being stood up to by Putin in Ukraine and now along side Iran with China.
We are engaged in a civilization war and all is tied together. One one side is my God Of Mammon cult and their quislings in control of the puppet nations with US as the face and the others side is China with its finance as a public utility structure with Russia/Iran and others nations joining the growing resistance axis.
Pundits are saying that Occupied Palestine will attack Iran as the next significant move and I just watch and wait, hoping for the anti-humanism of our species to end soon. I hope Iran has had enough time to install/shake-down all the new China/Russia AD and such before the aggression starts again.

I think the first step for the global majority is to organize, set out it’s goals and adequately prepare for the inevitable struggle with Western Imperialism.
A bit like Russia has done with the SMO. That’s what serious strategy looks like. Anything less is destined to fail.
First step: on what identity are we organizing on: race/nationality or social class?

Spot on, Andrei Martyanov is completely correct and clearly understands the psychology of an advanced pathological narcissist like Trump. Second time around Trump is much older too, and while some continue to think he is a genius constantly using a see-sawing approach of opposites in his deal making, he is actually simply erratic and often desperate to throw the dice again, or construct another confabulation to make himself look as if he is in control.
What the world will have to be careful of is Trump taking everyone down with him if he gets into an uncontrollable emotional fit of ‘terrible twos’ tantrum and then seeks to knock down all the blocks of the other kids in the kindergarten out of pure rage. He already did this once after being called TACO and that manifested as bombing Iran and using the National Guard and Marines back home to carry out psychologically transferred revenge against his favourite targets and his own people. (Like going home and kicking your dog because your boss is a repressive autocrat you have to submit to).

I think it is quite clear that Trump doesn’t actually listen to the Pentagon and Hegseth or Tulsi Gabbard as well – they don’t fit his view of ‘alternative facts’ as Kellyanne Conway called them in the last Trump administration. He’s side-lined them because he is living in a world of confabulation and folly especially as things are going less and less his way and his popularity is decreasing. It is surprising how many American comedians are now ridiculing him publicly. He will hate that.

Common language is a prerequisite. No language, no codified law; no legal system, no state. Utopian anarchy almost certainly means warlordism unless a fall-back option is in place. That’s where we come from, actually. Rule by force is empire, where Caesar represents the Law all by himself.
Fully developed law must be threefold: agreed upon, codified, and judged in action. This is a process, never a finite state; it naturally tends towards multiple polities which handle things according to their own, naturally varied ways.
Breaking free of old chains may be a common effort, but a common telos for everyone is something else. I maintain it is utopian, and will remain so for at least a long as languages co-exist.

That is quite true and an intelligent assessment of the kind of narcissism he suffers from. It’s a personality disorder that causes genuine suffering to the person who has it (who actually experiences a form of self-loathing but covers it up) which in turn makes the person target others and cause them much suffering as a consequence. So double whammy as you point out.

Tough question, right?
In this context, MoA has many posters who know what’s going on, but tend to project their fantasies onto the broader political landscape.

Why Do Many Of Us Think Trump Is A Stupid Man..?
https://x.com/anatoliisharii/status/1942527297367527495
“Trump, who has been swimming in a sea of sharks for many decades, who has become President of the United States twice and might become a third time. We should not consider him a stupid man.
His promise to provide weapons to Zelensky is understandable. I just spoke with high-ranking offials from Ukraine, and they claim this is an extremely clever move.
Trump doesn’t want to be blamed for the war being lost by Kyiv because of him. Trump doesn’t want parallels with Afghanistan.
That’s why Trump will give weapons and then say: ‘What do you want from me?! I gave them weapons but their corruption lost this war.
Trump is a genius. I am ashamed that for several whole hours I couldn’t understand why he gives weapons to corrupt Kyiv and promises to dictator Zelensky.”

It is a monumental puzzle for me as well. Apart from other crimes against humanity, the collective western nations (and the RF) studiously fail to highlight -let alone condemn- the very well documented genocide against the indigenous Semitic population in occupied Palestine. This is not a recent phenomenon, but began (at the latest) in 1948.
My only explanation is that a plague of an as yet unrecognized “Hypocrisy Virus or bacteria” has infected much of the world population.
I know that this is simplistic, and no doubt the product of my own despair, but does anyone have a better explanation?

No matter how much anyone knows, most of the time people just speculate out of what they think they know, when all of us are vastly ignorant of far more.
There are different ways to ascertain levels of truth: deduction, induction, adduction, rationalising, logic, imagination etc., but most of the time people just do lousy and trashy gossip and try to enforce their opinions. (MS media for example, as well as social media).
Einstein died a long time ago, but he is quoted to have said: “We still do not know one thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us” = 0.000001% which is not much. Sure, we know more now and have far more advanced technology but I don’t think it has changed things that much in terms of understanding much about the human predicament.
So in my view it is the collective opinions that count and all opinions have some weight and approximation of the truth within them. But there are variations within those views that make some more accurate compared to others. Love it or leave it, that I believe, is why people like to blog.

China has never been an imperialist nor colonialist country. Of course there have been many thousands of years of fighting, war lords, and establishing of borders within what we now refer to as China, as well as dynasties being overthrown. Han are also essentially the same people as well. Two of the major dynasties involved invasions from Mongolia (Yuan) and Manchuria (Qing). Tibet has been under protectorate for many centuries after it turned Mahayana Buddhist. Before that it invaded China more often than the reverse.
But it is the West that has largely been outwardly imperialist and colonialist and not only sabotaged the sovereignty and natural development in many countries around the world, but also enslaved, or quasi-enslaved the people in those countries though appalling remuneration. It also stole the wealth of those countries repeatedly, India and China being classic examples.

That bit about “a shitload of rupees with little usage” doesn’t really hold up. The rupee isn’t weak or useless — it’s just not freely convertible, like many other national currencies. But within India, it powers a massive economy with over a billion people. It’s not meant to circulate globally like the dollar, and that’s by choice, not because it’s broken. Dismissing it like that oversimplifies how currencies actually work.

Exactly! I saw the big (rotten) apple in 1966. Even then it looked and felt like a place whose best days were behind it. Also there was an feeling of being in a place inhabited by people who were fundamentally different, and not in a good way. In contrast despite the different language, the people of Baja California seemed quite familiar and normal.

You must be living in an alternate reality.
Where is the World’s Financial Capital then?
Why was 9/11 perpetrated in New York – why not pick some other city?
1966 was 60 odd years ago – longer than the working lives of most people.
If your advice in 1966 was to avoid New York because it was past its prime – that would have been horrible advice.

It would be good if there was a list of trolls up as things move on but I don’t know how practical that would be. Some I recognize due to their incessant posting of comments like the former William and Jason, but others I am not sure of still. Some are new too, or likely sock puppets of the older versions. I guess for me this is the first time I have encountered this sort of thing since many of the blogs I have written on before have moderation going on all the time and different moderators cutting comments. I guess I’m more often used to using an analogy or pointing out the absurdity/paucity of an argument and it often gets rid of such comment makers.
I thank you for your honesty and respect however, for I often find people become very emotionally reactive here yet they cannot necessarily know much about the other person they so often castigate. Some just avoid any replies as if you aren’t worth replying to, and others appear to be cryptic and cynical without really making it clear.
