What would happen if Africa en mass defaulted on western loans? Could BRICKS fill the vacume? It seems to me that given the right attitude Africa could free itself from predatory economics w the help of some win win economics.

Trumpers are burning their MAGA hats.
The Epstein client list is a list of, essentially, Israeli agents (those willing and those unwilling).
If the client list is made public the effectiveness of these Israeli agents will be harmed.

It seems to me that the article China tells EU… from SCMP is misinformation or disinformation. SCMP essentially is an anti-China outlet even though its owner is Chinese Alibaba. Ali’s Ma is closer to a comprador rather than a patriot (from Chinese POV). This article has typical points of an intentional planted news:
1. It is from anonymous source(s).
2. It is exclusive by a specific outlet, which is known as anti-China.
3. The information noted in the article is very unlikely even though in private conversations. Do you think China would trust Europeans with this kind of remarks as they know very well that they are simply amerikkkan vassals?
Anything from SCMP is worth of at least a truckload of salt.

The fog of schizophrenia is the perfect cover to practice unpredictability. Unpredictability generates uncertainty how to respond by the subject. This acts to undermine established and ratified WYO treaties that place legal limitations on trade activities being considered by the U.S. policies re Tariffs. What better way to strike at commerce in goods and commodities that are foundation of economy, commercial profits and the value of stocks held primarily by the top decile of the population.
Visceral opposition to occupant #47 of the White House mostly comes from this decile. Occupant #47, cunningly is sending a message that he can wilfully cause great economic harm to the decile’s interests and wealth.
Being the economic hegemon, the effects on world producers has secondary importance and can be easily rectified when necessary. Occupant #47 is a very angry man, winning three elections for two terms in office. Anger has an unbalancing effect on rational thinking; cunning thinking, not so much.
(Occupant #47 is used to avoid triggering TDS episodes with readers). YMMV

Otto Penn @3: “The Epstein client list is a list of, essentially, Israeli agents (those willing and those unwilling).”
While this poster uses the term correctly, many people misunderstand “agent”, so a refresher is useful.
“Operators” are official members of the spook agency criminal gangs. For instance, operators attached to a US based spook agency may (but not necessarily) have a FEIN (federal employee identification number). Operators “manage” agents, whose agent status is not dependent upon employment with the government.
“Agents” are individuals “recruited” through various means to do the spook gang’s dirty work. Agents may be acquired by agencies through any number of different kinds of payments, gifts, favors, bribes, and such that make them obligated to their operator or to the agency itself. Other inducements to cooperation, of course, include threats (“We know where your kid goes to school. It would be a shame if they were involved in a hit-and-run on their way home.”), and, relevant here, blackmail.
It is worth noting that it is not unusual for spook gang agents to be unaware that they are tools being controlled by a cynical criminal syndicate. Prospective presstitutes, for instance, are often recruited at university without ever realizing their new very generous “friend” is a spook operator. Favors and gifts range from drugs, to A-grade-worthy term papers for a critical class that they procrastinated on, to an invite to a prestigious frat, to a foot in the door to after graduation cushy jobs with spook-aligned outfits like the New York Langley Times and Washington Bezos Post. So when the spook operator shows up later with a request to spin a story a certain way, or just submit spook-supplied copy as their own work, the clueless presstitute agent does so without a second thought (though presstitutes often don’t even have a first thought to follow on with a second, but whatever…)
The important point is that spook gang agents are not official members of the spook gang, but rather are witting or unwitting tools of that gang. Agents may even have networks of agents of their own. Think of troll farms that employ the dembots and NAFO-tards that post here, or Latin American drug cartels, or that Pakistani guy who ran the auto theft ring that supplied stolen trucks and SUVs to ISIS. The spook agency maintains deniability for is agents’ actions while controlling those actions.

Epstein’s List insistently, repeatedly pops up — like a Jack in the Box with a broken lid. Peaks and troughs of the scandal tide are a total mystery to me, having found the circumstances of Jeffrey’s quote-unquote suicide extremely suspicious from day one. Political observers (among them Larry Johnson) think the blatant Epstein cover-up, by Pam Bondi, who vowed to leave no stone unturned, will hurt DJT with something called MAGA. Who knows?
It’s insultingly absurd to contend there is no list. Of course there’s a damn list. This was a (Mossad) career, not a hobby, for Epstein. Even if “the list” was only in his head, the whole point was to work the list; Like a diligent salesman. Here’s a partial list, some of the better-known entries, from Hedges:

The list of those who were in Epstein’s orbit is a who’s who of the rich and famous. They include not only Trump, but Bill Clinton, who allegedly took a trip to Thailand with Epstein, Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, hedge fund billionaire Glenn Dubin, former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, former Secretary of the Treasury and former president of Harvard University Larry Summers, cognitive psychologist and author Stephen Pinker, Alan Dershowitz, billionaire and Victoria’s Secret CEO Leslie Wexner, the former Barclays banker Jes Staley, former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, the magician David Copperfield, actor Kevin Spacey, former CIA director Bill Burns, real estate mogul Mort Zuckerman, former Maine senator George Mitchell and disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who reveled in Epstein’s perpetual Bacchanalia.

It is very obvious that Trump is attempting to incite some kind of violent reaction though the ICE raids, a cause celebre for a bigger crackdown. He did not get that in LA, and now a judge has stopped ICE from taking people off the street with no probable cause. So now he tweets that ICE agents “should use any means necessary” against people protesting against them and “throwing stones” etc. at them, because the ICE agents are having emotional issues. Just like the IDF soldiers are having emotional issues from murdering children. He is giving carte blanche to ICE to do whatever they feel like. Trump is turning into a wrecking ball for the US.
His restarting of the tariff war, which I cover here, is another proof of that wrecking ball as well as serving to show the limits over what Trump thinks is his power. The same with Ukraine, the same with Iran, the same with Taiwan. I see his administration thrashing out more and more at home as he is repeatedly shown that he is much less powerful in the international arena than he thinks he is. This will escalate all the way into the mid-terms when he will be looking certain lame duck status, and possible impeachment, in the face.
This current Trump is very, very different to the one in 2016. His level of ADHD is off the charts, his service to the Zionist demons much greater, his inability to put sentences together and be cognizant of what is going on with is administration much lower. It will be surprising if he makes it past the mid terms. J D Vance is patiently waiting in the wings.
Then we will get most probably a right wing Democratic president who will immediately start wailing about the need to cut the deficit, and of course reversing some of the huge tax giveaways given to the rich in the past few decades will be off the table. The US will get its own Starmer, slashing the welfare state in the name of “deficit reduction”. Or perhaps just getting done what Clinton was planning until that soiled dress sent him off the rails.

Bertrand has some useful insights, but his utter lack of political economic insight unmoors him from materialist reality. He seems utterly unbothered by the actual material interests of the bourgeois ruling classes that dominate European and Anglo-dominated societies, not understanding that philosophy and culture are utterly intertwined with political economy. If he ever read Gramsci he must have skipped most of the content, like so many critical theorists and anti-communist “leftists”.

Imperialism, regardless of Trump, cannot and will not retreat from its plans for war with China. There is a certain madness that has set in amongst the western ruling class, just as it was before WW1 and WW2.
At best, he might be considering simply falling back to the second “aircraft carrier in the Pacific”: The Philippines. But you know Trump. You can’t read too much into his every gaff.

0. There’s much more than a list, no matter how long a list isn’t that scary since it’s just a bunch of names that anyone could have put together. Yeah maybe it has slightly more info than just names but it’s still not the stuff that was actually used. The list is the weak sauce distraction yet they don’t even dare go there.
That’s how shit the US government is. All of them. Throw in the rest of the world as well because it certainly doesn’t only involve the US or only US or “western” agencies; it’s all a very big and very juicy target for anyone.
Can you hear that? Yeah, complete silence.
1. I still refuse to believe Epstein is dead. It’s all the standard bs.
2. Are all the documents related to the most recent investigations of physical properties and so on public and unredacted? Afaik they’re not. No one is going to release those either.
3. We all get (or should have gotten) the picture long ago: Epstein, Biden’s offspring, Podesta, and many others and none of it can plausibly be seen as entirely separate exceptions.
There isn’t really all that much to debate on the core matter (organized widespread compromising of people in power done without limits) and there are no excuses (including for anyone who’s last name starts with T). Defending it is no different than defending genocide and everything else also applies similarly.

Machine translation tools work well for Chinese. Today’s headline article at Guancha is about Elbridge Colby, “Desperate to curb China, he is the biggest advocator in the Trump administration”. I also see that Guancha has posted the interview of Zhang Weiwei with Ben Norton, and yesterday there was this article, “The Russian Communist Party’s “reversal” of Stalin’s case at this time is related to the situation between Russia and Ukraine?” that dealt with Khrushchev’s secret report in 1956 that I found interesting. I find myself motivated to post more Chinese related/sourced articles at my substack than my initial concentration on Russian primary sources, although I still do those as my recent work attests. “Vladimir Solovyov: Merz is a Nazi” is my latest.

———- e mail from a friend in colorado on trump and ”2 curves going in different directions.”
“A very alarming/scary trajectory is unfolding—one that’s easy to miss, especially given the fog of mainstream media. (and more so if you’re living on an island north of the Roman frontier where only the Canuck tribe lives; I hear they paint themselves blue. lol).
The first curve is rising: The Supreme Court continues to sell out the Constitution to expand Donald Trump’s powers as president, while Congress and the Senate have long functioned as little more than rubber stamps.
The second curve is falling: Trump’s cognitive decline. Increasingly, he’s showing clearer signs of dementia—more frequent public outbursts, struggles to find words even with his 3rd grade vocabulary, moments of visible confusion and lethargy, erratic behavior, mood swings, and little emotional control. He’s even started shouting at people, especially the press, on camera! The old sense of invincibility he’s always projected is now coupled with a deeper instability and visions of grandeur with no sense of consequences. It’s no longer just bravado—it feels untethered. The gestapo like unleashing of ICE on the public…
What Trump did was he took away temporary protective status for immigrants who had the right to be here. He rescinded it, then arrested them all and sent them off into prisons; tell me the US has not driven off the cliff into authoritarian rule. I’ll stop for now because there is so much more, and I don’t want to write a book right now. lol
You can see where this is heading. As his power grows and his mental acuity diminishes, the point at which those lines intersect—arguably, where we are now—is a danger zone. And let’s be honest: the sycophant toadies and enablers surrounding him are not about to invoke the 25th Amendment. They won’t stop this. It’s all being excused away by “it’s just Trump hyperbole” or “it’s his art of the deal strategy,” and on and on. I know he’s not running the bigger circus, but still he still has control of the center ring.

Any society that doesn’t defend and nurture children is a death cult.

Referring to Epstein as a blackmail operation is a bit silly. The immediate connotation is extorting money. Extorting Ehud Barak or Evelyn Rothschild or Hilary Clinton or Lord Stanley for money is just not possible. They have power, they will kill you, they could care less if they are exposed. They are all exposed endlessly and they just continue.
What is more valuable is information. Information comes from being chums. Epstein ran an entertainment service for perverts. The masters are basically all perverts. Your masters are scum.
The operation was not about Lolitas. The age of consent in some states is fourteen. Many countries use fourteen. In Mexico it is twelve. This is not about Humbert Humbert panting after a twelve or fourteen year old. The rich can have those all day long if they want them without even breaking any law.
This is about perverts, mostly very weak men, who want children. Not young ladies a bit too young. It is about children. Whether used as labor slaves or sex slaves exploited children have extremely high mortality. Not cared for they die. This is about killing children. Which your masters enjoy. This is mostly about pleasure. If Epstein and Ghislaine got some useful or actionable intelligence out of the operation that’s a side benefit.

The new Superman movie apparently has a whole plot revolving around Lex Luthor getting in league with the president of a Slavic country called ‘Boravia’ (Which is depicted as a “US ally”, read: vassal dictatorship) to invade the country of Jarhanpur (Which apparently has no military since it’s just a bunch of unarmed civilians guarding the open border ala Tank Man) which is a desert country full of brown people. (Why it borders a Slavic country, I do not know) From the name and the actors it seems more inspired by the Indian subcontinent than the Arab or Iranic worlds.
I don’t know if all this represents the writers trying to merge so many different ideas to make it impossible for anyone to say they’re suggesting Superman and his friends intervene in any particular war mixing up both Ukraine and Gaza. But eventually one of the heroes (Not Superman, of course but one of his friends) flies into the presidential palace of Boravia and picks the president up and drops him to his death from the air.
But part of me wonders if it doesn’t represent the melted down minds of the average American liberal. Lex Luthor (Elon Musk who also uses a literal army of monkeys at keyboards to brainwash people on social media) is in league with the Boravians (Russians) to invade a vaguely Middle Eastern country and annex it before Superman comes in and destroys the invading army. Cherry on top their ID is satisfied by killing the Enemy Image they’ve been taught to hate by having not Superman bring the Boravian president (Who takes the Enemy Image of a Slavic president like Putin rather than Netanyahu) to trial for warcrimes but having him be thrown to his death in cold blood.
They genuinely can’t integrate the logic that the war in Ukraine is about Syria. That it was provoked and that it has allowed genocidal wars by Israel and also Azerbaijan by removing Pax-Russia. It all gets jumbled up in their minds. Or perhaps I’m reading too much or maybe they wanted to subtly remind Americans of the different reactions to each war.
Hilariously Lois Lane then interviews him and questions him if he understands that his actions are seen as American interventionism which he rebukes “I was stopping people dying!” which sounds like a snarky rebuke to the idea that the US deliberately sought the war in Ukraine. This combined with the killing of the Slavic president in cold blood makes me suspect making it about Putin Derangement Syndrome than any criticism of Israel despite the situation in Gaza being the most horrific atrocity of the 21st century, you’d think if you were trying to make any kind of political statement it would be against that. Only the description of Boravia as a “US ally” and Jarhanpur not being another Slavic country but vaguely Middle Eastern (Actually sounds and the people look Subcontinental) makes it seem like a comment on Israel.

The call for commitments from Australia and Japan if Taiwan is attacked sounds similar. I wonder whether this signals that the US is about to pull the trigger. In this case that would be having Taiwan declare its independence what would make a Chinese invasion almost inevitable.

Whitney Webb book on Amazon:
One Nation Under Blackmail is a damning indictment of the consequences resulting from the nearly century old relationship between both US and Israeli intelligence and the organized criminal network known as the National Crime Syndicate. This book specifically explores how that nexus between intelligence and organized crime directly developed the sexual blackmail tactics and networks that would later enable the sexual blackmail operation and other crimes of deceased pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Other books on Jeffrey Epstein focus on the depraved nature of his crimes, his wealth, and his most famous/politically-connected friends and acquaintances. This book, in contrast, reveals the extent to which Epstein’s activities were state-sponsored through an exploration of his intelligence connections.

@ karl – thanks karl! my pleasure!
——————-
an excellent article in a guest post at thomas fazis substack… highly recommended –
Europe died in Gaza
a short quote from the article
“The two major international crises that will forever mark this decade, if not this century — the war in Ukraine and the ongoing massacre in Gaza — have laid bare the total political inconsistency of the European Union: lacking any decision-making autonomy and reduced to a hollow appendage of US foreign policy.
Despite the collective erasure of the war in Ukraine — an event that once turned almost everyone into a geopolitical expert overnight but has since faded into the background, no longer sparking public interest — it is impossible to analyse what is happening in Gaza without taking into account what is happening in Ukraine. To speak of “incompetence” in the European leadership’s handling of the two crises is an overly partial reading, since the double standard between Ukraine and Palestine is not merely a methodological error or a moral issue. It is a strategy fully consistent with the structure of international relations and the division of the world into military blocs and spheres of influence.

All this Trumpf / Maga focus is a convenient distraction from the evil that ALL USA administrations aggressively and single-minded perpetrate. “Don’t blame the USA. It’s Trumpf.”
Berletic covers this continuity thoroughly (though he is much better in writing (where he has been consistently analysing for many years cf. cartolucci).
The USA is a festering cancer on the world and arguing about a Trumpf/Maga agenda v. a Trumpfless RP v. a DP administration is dancing on the head of a pin.

Countries have been told to operate ‘export led growth’ by all the powers that be. And that is what they have done.
Just read any EU treaty or NATO economic charter. An Eu conversion programme how to join the EU or the stability and growth mechanisms.
It’s all based on the old gold stabdard, fixed exchange rate imperialist, colonialist regimes. You have to export as much as you can or face austerity at home bullshit.
How they get the real resources transferred to the centre so They can use them for themselves.
They sell stuff for foreign money *and then discount that into their own currency* via the standard banking mechanisms. The foreign assets form “reserves” that hide the fact that any nation running its own currency discounts ‘Other assets’ to create its own money.
Those export-led nations then hold that money and assets hostage, and by doing so drain the circulation from the import nation, suppressing its domestic circulation – which creates more space for exports as investment goods decline.
The result is that an export-led nation can, in effect, export its unemployment to another nation – as long as that nation is running the same degenerate monetary theory the export-led nation is.
*MMT says there is a unilateral way of dealing with that*.
You just accommodate the drain to foreign nations via your banking system. You discount nothing at your Central bank and keep your domestic circulation up. You will stop paying foreigners interest and income because you know they have no choice but to take your money.
Then you will have full employment at home by implementing the job guarentee *and* you will have a greater standard of living as all those foreign nations hand over goods and services for nothing much of value in return.
And very quickly those foreign nations will realise they have been had and switch back to a domestic focus, and the trade balances will decline. Except in nations trying to avoid the Dutch Disease like Norway where they are using excess external savings to avoid being entirely honest about the actual level of taxation in place.
What classic Post-Keynesians don’t seem to like, and why they like to put the cart before the horse, is that MMT has found a way of *unilaterally* solving this dilemma via floating-rate currencies.
And that puts the Big globalist Hug club – and all those technocrats required to staff it – out of a job.

Trump’s Epstein rug pull is going to cost him around half of his base.
Here’s a nice thread of MAGA folks burning their MAGA hats over it:
https://x.com/grimcalls/status/1944162157169438786
The issue is pretty straightforward. Trump campaigned against the deep state and in 2020 and 2024 against the two tier justice system and weaponized government. But, anyone with a couple of brain cells knows that Epstein was above the law for decades. He had leverage over the rich and powerful and thus stayed out of trouble. Anyone following the issue more than just the headlines knows that Epstein was working for Mossad to get leverage on powerful Americans (and Europeans in some cases).
Trump punting on Epstein tells his base that he doesn’t care that the elite can abuse young girls and the state will protect them. For those paying more attention, it tells them that the state will protect Israeli abuses against Americans to ensure that the US does Israel’s bidding. Further, the way that his administration did it tells them that Trump can’t even be bothered to look credible while doing it.
Basically Trump said: “I don’t work for the voters. I work for the elite, especially the Israeli elite. You rubes out there in the cheap seats can get with the program and adopt the new BS or I’ll have you deported for antisemitism.”
The issue isn’t going to die. It going to cost him a lot of support, my best guess is around half of his base. The dems are also a dumpater fire, so no idea what the midterms look like. But, the odds of a civil war or insurrection have just gone up markedly.

Why of course the imperialists and colonialists of the day have tried to replicate the metal standards characteristics onto full monetary sovereign fiat currencies today. With their spending rules, deficit rules, debt rules, forcing countries to export , tax payer money myths etc, etc, etc.
In some cases removing their fully monetary sovereign fiat currencies from them completely. Making them operate in a Foreign currency or a pegged currency. Operate with foreign debt.
By getting complete nutjobs to remove banking regulations every time they walk into a voting booth. Then wonder why when rates are low you get asset inflation.

For any who have taken a peek inside Saint George Church on Poklonnaya Hill along with Alex Christoforou this morning, here’s an extract from wikipedia describing the area:

“… Poklonnaya Hill
Poklonnaya Gora (Russian: Покло́нная гора́, literally “Bow-Down Hill”; metaphorically “Worshipful Submission Hill”‘) is, at 171.5 m, one of the highest natural spots in Moscow. Its two summits were separated by the Setun River until one of the summits was razed in 1987. Since 1936, the area has been part of Moscow, and it now contains the Victory Park, with many tanks and other vehicles that were used during World War II on display.
Historically, the hill had great strategic importance, as it commanded the best view of the capital of Russia. Its name is derived from the Russian for “to bow down” since everyone approaching the capital from the west was expected to do homage here.[1] During the French invasion of Russia in 1812, it was the spot in which Napoleon in vain expected the keys to the Kremlin to be brought to him by Russians.
Victory Park
In the 1960s, the Soviet authorities decided to put the area to use as an open-air museum dedicated to the Russian victory over Napoleon. The New Triumphal Arch, erected in wood in 1814 and in marble in 1827 to a design by Osip Bove, was relocated and reconstructed here in 1968. A loghouse in which Mikhail Kutuzov presided over the Fili Conference, which decided to abandon Moscow, to the enemy, was designated a national monument… A golden-domed Orthodox church was erected on the hilltop in 1993-1995, followed by a memorial mosque and the Holocaust Memorial Synagogue…”

If he ever read Gramsci he must have skipped most of the content, like so many critical theorists and anti-communist “leftists”.
Posted by: Roger Boyd | Jul 13 2025 15:49 utc | 15

Gramsci is popular with a certain type of ‘leftist’ because in his Prison Notebooks he was forced to obfuscate his thought in order to get it past the censorship of his Fascist jailers. While Gramsci was forced into this approach, many Western intellectuals are actively seeking a ‘critical theory’ that is compatible with Fascism. They are less keen on the pre-prison Gramsci who was an unapologetic Communist and supporter of the Soviet Union and the 3rd International against its critics on the left whose weakness and opportunism ushered in imperialist world war and Fascism.

ChatNPC, if you scroll through the comments, you’ll see several people burning their hats.

Since you’re patrons at the bar, I assume you remember the talk of civil war in the US during the last decade. Talk that ramped up before each election and during Biden’s term, but dwindled to nothing each time Trump was elected.
This isn’t about whether Trump voters are rubes. Making that the point obscures a much larger issue.
There are large demographics in this country that feel (correctly) that they have gotten the shaft. Men, whites, rural, working class, and a few others, correctly deduced that the elites hate them. Their economic conditions have declined consistently since the 70s.
Trump the insurgent populist, that the entire elite ensemble opposed (politicians, news media, government bureaucrats, celebrities, etc), gave them hope for the first time in generations. Again, whether this hope was misplaced isn’t the issue.
The Epstein debacle has just made it crystal clear to these people that they have no champion in Washington, nothing is going to get better on its own, and civil war is very much back on the menu.

Superman box office. A comment from Some Guy on the Internet:
“The movie actually had a fantastic domestic opening but the international numbers are awful.
Massive blockbusters like this film need international markets to do well.
Realistically unless this movie retains incredible legs it’s probably looking to finish under 600M, which would be beneath what a lot of people were predicting.
Break even point probably somewhere around 550M so it’s possible the movie doesn’t lose money at the very list, but either way isn’t gearing up to be a big success”.
Q: Did Trump posting a meme of himself as Superman the week of opening kill this movie internationally?
Another Guy on the Internet says:
https://nitter.net/meJat32/status/1944401640888619260

$27M OS SAT {opening Saturday} for #Superman. $68M cume.
It’s a struggle for the film, with Europe being a complete disaster. LATAM appeared promising initially, but it’s mid at best.
Only a couple of mkts like Brazil and some in Asia, such as India, can be called okay. Weekend will be ~$90M.

Did this guy^ just say the movie needs *Brazil* to secure its profitability?
Brazil? The same Brazil Trump just took a dump on re trade and tariffs?

MAGA was sold the narrative ICE would deport illegals/criminals. The undocumented people unaccountable to anyone and committing crimes that were never prosecuted, making cities and neighbourhoods unsafe.
Within weeks ICE has mutated to arresting anyone, especially anyone pigmented, imprisoning them and “deporting” them.

I’m still not over learning that Nietzsche’s Übermensch is regularly translated as Superman. The comic book hero notion is absolutely not taken serious in Europe by anyone in their right mind; conversely attempting to do so and be a Superman fan will have you relegated to the nutcase basket in a whim with most people I have ever met. I’m sorry, but this is just wrong. There are a lot of immigration issues, but the big one that doesn’t get mentioned in the MSM is working class wages. If you Google it you will find two curious things just happened in the US.
1) Net migration is negative for the first time in 50 years.
2) Blue collar wages are up..
Simple supply and demand. Immigrants put downward pressure on working class wages, and often accept working conditions that are much, much worse than locals will tolerate.

I have heard a few possible explanations, but the one that makes the most sense at this point is that the fbi files include information which may been seen to incriminate Trump. He almost let this slip when he claims now that the whole subject is a plot (psyop he says) by the democrat party. I suppose there is stuff in the records which he did not expect.
So the approach will be to stonewall as long as possible, communication and transparency is not an option for trump. It will work in a sense, but republicans will breathe life into the near dead democrat party – so Trump will have two years to do maximum damage.
Replacing the attourney general accomplishes nothing because Trump either releases the records or does not – Trump is the problem.
I am surprised that Musk does not have grok working on it – criminal investigation and prosecution such be prime for AI.

I should add that it is not usual for the law enforcemect to release records of investigation to the public – they are to be used in court or not at all. Is my impression, though they have a habit of leaking when it suits their purposes. Funny that Trump is now hiding behind the rules when usually he has no time for them.

Australia Rebuffs Trump As US Demands To Know What Allies Would Do In Taiwan War
Quote

The United States has already long been engaged heavily into two war zones it can’t control – namely Ukraine and Gaza – and still looks to pivot to a third. A fresh report in Financial Times says the Trump administration is demanding to know what is Pacific allies will do in the event of a war with China over Taiwan.
Specifically the US government has been pressing Japan and Australia to clarify their roles in the event that China moves militarily on Taiwan. Elbridge Colby, US under-secretary of defense for policy, has held meetings with Australian and Japanese officials in recent months with this end in mind.
Colby has made clear in a Sunday statement that he’s working on implementing President Donald Trump’s agenda of “restoring deterrence and achieving peace through strength.” He outlined that this includes “urging allies to step up their defense spending and other efforts related to our collective defense.”
And separately, a US defense official described that the “animating theme” of these recent discussions with allies was “to intensify and accelerate efforts to strengthen deterrence in a balanced, equitable way.”
The official was quoted in FT as saying “We do not seek war. Nor do we seek to dominate China itself. What we are doing is ensuring the United States and its allies have the military strength to underwrite diplomacy and guarantee peace.”
But Beijing might understandably disagree, given that in recent months it has been confirmed that the US maintains hundreds of Marines in Taiwan, including on its small outlying islands near China’s coast, ostensibly for “training” purposes.

I need to say that I cannot understand why a very small number of barflies exhibit visceral hatred towards you…

Do you know who gets no hate? The person who doesn’t say anything worth having a feeling about, or who doesn’t take a convicted position.
I’m not worried about strangers that I will never meet who hate me. Someone is always going to dislike me. It could be because of my opinions, my religion, my values, or just because their life is difficult at the time, and I was a convenient outlet.
The only opinion at the bar that matters to me is that of b. If he wants me to stop posting and bans me, then I won’t try to sneak back in with a different name as some people do.

One strange nugget is that hours before his death, Epstein was permitted to make an unmonitored, unrecorded phone call, claiming he was calling his mother. (His mother had been dead for 15 years.)
The person he actually called was in Belarus, according to that person’s attorney
NYT: “The call was to his 30-year-old girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, whom he helped put through dental school.” The more you know.

Aaaand:
Replying to @mtracey
Karyna Shuliak was “married” to Epstein associate Jennifer Kalin.
Both Jennifer and Karyna were spotted at the same time as Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak entering Epstein’s NYC residence, which Barak visited over 3 dozen times.

PM Albanese is right now on a 6-day visit to China.
I hope alone that gives Trump a stroke.

He’s dying of pancreatic? cancer and acknowledges he’s vaxx injured (despite being an original 10000% vax loving stooge ).
Interesting he’s jumped on the “there’s nothing to see here” .
Epstein’s reach was wide… Dilbert man was A Big Deal back in the day…. Maybe their paths “crossed”.
