Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded seven new deaths due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, including one child.

“German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has condemned the escalating violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians as “terror,” emphasizing Germany’s opposition to any Israeli annexation of the occupied West Bank.
During a visit to the West Bank town of Taybeh, which saw settler attacks against Christians earlier this week, Wadephul said on Friday, “Such acts are crimes; they are terror, and they finally need to be prosecuted.”
The minister also visited the archaeological site of the historic Church of St. George in Taybeh, which was set on fire by settlers last month. He vowed to continue pushing at the European level for sanctions against violent Israeli settlers.
Germany’s top diplomat urged the occupying regime to adhere to international law and protect Palestinian civilians.
Wadephul also slammed Israel’s expansion of settlements in the West Bank, including a plan known as E1 for almost 3,500 new settler units, calling it a major obstacle to the so-called two-state solution, which he argued is the only sustainable path to peace.
Berlin’s policy is that “a Palestinian state must have a chance,” he stressed.”

Published by Arms Embargo Now Campaign (AEN) on Tuesday, newly uncovered shipping records and Israeli regime data show 47 documented shipments of military components from Canadian manufacturers to Israeli weapons firms between October 2023 and July 2025.
This includes over 421,000 bullets, with one shipment of 175,000 in April 2025.
Three cartridge shipments from a Quebec-based General Dynamics facility were also sent just nine days after Canada pledged to block munitions exports. These exports primarily supplied Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest arms manufacturer.

Two Labour MPs are being investigated by parliamentary authorities after failing to declare an all-expenses-paid trip to Israel on time.
“Peter Prinsley and Cat Eccles joined a “solidarity” visit funded by Labour Friends of Israel in May.
The group is funded by anonymous donors and was described as a “lobbying organisation” by one of its former directors.
Now, an official probe has been announced by parliament’s standards commissioner, after Declassified revealed the MPs had not mentioned the trip in their register of interests.
A third MP, Kevin McKenna, was also reported for failing to declare the trip. But the standards commissioner has not announced any inquiry against him.
During their trip to Israel, the MPs posed for photos with Israeli president Isaac Herzog, whose genocidal comments have been cited in an International Court of Justice report.
Speaking after the October 7 attack, Herzog said that an “entire nation” was responsible.
The delegation also met Israeli deputy foreign minister Sharren Haskel, leader of the opposition Yair Lapid and IDF reserve major general Yair Golan.
Records show that two of the MPs who went on the trip had already added it to their register of interests, stating that it was worth up to £2,600 per person.
But the strict deadline for declaration appeared to have been missed by the other MPs.”

On Syria, What Laith Marouf says to Jamarl Thomas is explosive imo, because apparently Marouf now has definitive evidence of Russia’s preference to deal with Turkey and intent to establish its future base in Libya under Turkish controlled territory there rather than hold Syria, during that country’s destruction. Marouf is saying Russia’s Air Force actually took military action to support HTS’s entry into Damascas.
Having been so disappointed in Russia over the fall of Syria, this amateur student of geopolitics (myself) had concluded at the time that Russia’s failure in Syria was a setback on a world scale, somehow. Considering, for example how respect for Russia was building so in the Global South, as simultaneously the Empire’s declined, this was a setback for Russia in that theatre. Looking for one thing at the spread of jihadism in the African Sahel (for example jihad rising control in Mali to over 60% of its territory.)
So having seen the situation then as if Russia might be a leader of the world’s drive to dismantle the US-centered empire. Imagining then perhaps a ‘Starwars’-type scenario of ‘good vs. evil’…..
Well now — Marouf’s uncovering of evidence which he just told Jamarl Thomas will be published shortly leads him to conclude he says that Russia “will never be more than a regional leader,” and he refers to the ‘quagmire in Ukraine.’ A lot of people will get very upset with his report, he expects. He is committed to his view, which anyone listening to his preliminary discussion will want to hear more about.
