News & views related to the war in Palestine …

Can what is happening in Gaza be called a war? I think that dignifies it in a way it shouldn’t be. What is happening is the annihilation of a civilian population in order to steal their land, in the most monstrous crime in all human history. This is accomplished through the most vile and cowardly actions including enforced famine, and the leaders of the so called West are entirely complicit in it. These are crimes against humanity.

I was looking through the UN Human Rights website which every three months publishes on the website letters and any responses sent by the UN independent experts raising concerns, to see if there are overlooked stories around the world. One letter about the large scale demolition of Bedouin homes in Israel in 2024 caught my attention: According to the al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin, 67 Bedouin communities comprising 340 families were displaced by Israeli authorities in 2024, with nearly 3,000 attacks reported against Palestinian Bedouin communities.
What will Israel eventually do with the Bedouin?

It can be Split into 2 files
I have leverage and I don’t have leverage files.
Ukraine – I don’t have any leverage
When it comes to Ukraine, that is in the, I don’t have any leverage file.
Trumpian Phoneyfart talks directly to the Russian people.
He has no leverage – Thus tries to bull shit the Russian people and say millions have died to try to get them to pressure Putin. Says let’s stop the killing of sons and daughters over and over and over again all for the same reason.
Gaza – I have all the leverage I ever need.
Now let’s look at Gaza where he is all the leverage he ever needs. Gaza is in the I have leverage file.
Crickets , complete silence , no mention of how many dead, no mention of killing, no mention of sons or daughters. In complete denial of the human suffering and the genocide. The
Infact, will only discuss the Israeli hostages or the number of Israeli dead.
It’s all about leverage.
Shows what a despicable human being Trump is.

The impending takeover of the Paramount media company by David Ellison’s (Son of Oracle oligarch and uber-Zionist/personal friend of Netanyahu Larry Ellison.) Skydance may come with some outrageous changes to CBS news division. CBS news is one of the big three US news networks available on any TV set. Ellison is apparently buying her company for $200 million! Never has anyone been so insulated from critique from her peers for her output as Bari Weiss. Larry Ellison is half Jewish but was raised by his Jewish aunt and uncle, his uncle or great uncle changed a presumably Jewish sounding name to Ellison in honour of Ellis Island.
https://responsiblestatecraft.org/bari-weiss-free-press-cbs

A thought experiment: would anyone who referred to the killing of 50 Jewish people, many of them “entirely innocent non-combatants, including children,” as “one of the unavoidable burdens of political power, of Palestinian liberation’s dream turned into the reality of self-determination,” ever be hired by a major television news network?
Would their news outlet ever be potentially offered more than $200 million to merge with that major news network?
Of course not, and for good reason. Yet that’s exactly what’s happening, only with one small but major difference: the writer and her news outlet responsible for this statement, Bari Weiss and The Free Press, were not talking about Hamas’ murder of Israelis, but rather about Israel’s killing of 50 Palestinians — “Zionism’s dream turned into the reality of self-determination,” as Weiss described it in 2021.
Weiss is currently in talks to sell The Free Press to CBS News for between $200-$250 million, after reportedly winning over its new owner, David Ellison, “by taking a pro-Israel stance,” according to the Financial Times. Ellison “wants to position The Free Press alongside CBS News,” the paper reported, while another source told the New York Times that Ellison is weighing up giving Weiss “an influential role in shaping the editorial sensibilities of CBS News.”
If so, it would be a major new development in a pervasive double standard we’ve seen in the past nearly two years. Weiss and her outlet have engaged in rhetoric and professional behavior that would ordinarily never pass muster in a newsroom — but are considered acceptable because they are in support of Israel’s war against Palestinians.
For one, The Free Press has repeatedly spread misinformation. In May 2024, the outlet charged that the UN had “admit[ted]” the civilian death toll was 50 percent lower than what was being claimed, a quickly debunked and borderline willful misreading of a UN document, a misreading that the UN secretary-general’s office swiftly came forward to correct (a fact left out of The Free Press’ piece).
One year later, The Free Press declared the idea that Israel was engineering a man-made famine that was underway in Gaza a “myth,” even as Israel was in its third month of blocking all food, fuel, and medicine into the territory and at least 57 civilians had already starved to death, most of them children. As recently as this past Sunday, another Free Press article argued that “there isn’t mass starvation as claimed by pro-Hamas propaganda,” which flies in the face of not just basic reality, but testimony from doctors, major news organizations with journalists on the ground, and even the conclusion of President Donald Trump, a supporter of the war.
Just this past June, The Free Press charged simultaneously that there had both been no massacre of Palestinian aid seekers, and that, if there was, Hamas may have been responsible. Of course, since then, not only have Israeli soldiers admitted to shooting aid-seekers but U.S. contractors are coming forward to back up their gruesome stories. These accounts are becoming a near-daily occurrence, with over 1,000 Gazans killed at or close to aid distribution sites in the past two months.

Ellison is reportedly thinking about making Bari Weiss the head of news or head of editorial. Alternatively he may simply incorporate her media company into CBS somehow. Weiss enjoyed a shocking rise to prominence, becoming head of editorial at the NYT bringing in a lot of other highly ethnocentric Jews who did nothing but write editorials for Israel, push for war against Russia (But I repeat myself) and generally denigrate the gentile population of the US as a threat that needs dealing with. She famously resigned in protest of the “woke” attitudes of the general staff, effectively launching a kite to other Zionists like her obliquely saying “What the hell are we going to do? We can’t fully control social media so what do we do when it’s war crimes o’clock for Israel again?” unlike others protesting these things at the time she wasn’t treated like a pariah but allowed to make her case and have the media respectfully listen. She didn’t explicitly mention Israel or Zionism but given she was born in the late 80s and a Jewish lesbian once married to Kate Mckinnon and treated so nice by the media, I suspect we know what part of wokeness she really meant.
The previous runner (She never owned by acted like it) of Paramount, the reprehensible Shari Redstone (Her gangster grandfather changed it from Rothstein to remove associations with the infamous Jewish gangster, it’s possible he may have been a relative) also personally interfered with CBS news for Israel. She was forced to sell after running the company into the ground (Which her family ultimately bought from her grandfather’s gangsterism in drugs, loan sharking, prostitution and other ventures) with an unending series of spectacularly bad decisions.
https://mondoweiss.net/2025/05/theres-an-under-reported-israel-angle-to-the-corporate-effort-to-muzzle-60-minutes
I cannot overstate how crazy Bari Weiss is and how insane it would be to have her influence or control a major tv news outlet. Her tenure at the New York Times was shocking enough but I’d argue her signings like Bret Stephens (Who advocated for full-scale war with Russia) made her seem normal by comparison. But without even the pathetic standards of the NYT to adhere to she has gone off the rails. Apparently David Ellison finds this to be a feature rather than a bug. I actually cannot believe this is happening at this precise moment in time when children are now starving to death in large numbers. But it makes me hopeful, their insane overreach has exposed to the Israel lobby and it’s danger in a way they can’t roll back plus the sheer evil and savagery. They are thrashing around.
It’s also interesting to note that this week Joeseph Czuba died in prison. He was the one who stabbed to death one of his tenants a 6 year Palestinian boy named Wadea al-Fayoume in a Chicago suburb and also severely wounded the boy’s mother, stabbing the boy over 30 times. He was apparently influenced by the coverage of the Gaza war in the early days on American news. The same news media gave this story minor coverage despite it being exactly what they should go crazy over, the stabbing to death of a 6 year old surely ranks as one of the worst hate crimes by an American white in the 21st if not 20th century. Yet the child was almost treated as just another number, another casualty in Gaza. And, in a way, he was just that.

The lie is not that Israel is a democracy.
The lie is that it ever needed to be.
As long as it serves empire,
As long as it kills the right people,
And tells the right story,
It will never be held accountable.
It is not judged by its crimes.
Only by its usefulness.

Never forget that America is 100% behind Israel, and England created Israel.
It is quite telling that not a single MoA MAGA ever condemns the genocide or Trump’s participation in it.

Tide change and I am swamped by the different narratives/projections under way, so cannot make sense of anything for now.
@ Teri thanks for the interview of Agular on previous thread. Many thoughts, and ways to read that , he took the good path.
His experience and standing allow him to recount what he observed with credibility. Others are also recounting similar (journalists for example).
That puts him at odds with some in the military, pro-zionist US population, various politicians, and “Israeli” forces. It also puts him at odds with various ‘anti empire’ and so on for having served in various conflicts. Not a position many would want to be in and so I hope that his choice of adhering to values at potential cost to himself is appreciated. Even if just for so as to not discourage others who would speak up. I just reduce it to a person with their story to tell…how that gains traction in US or is used is something else.
The overall picture still stands, the US sponsors an aid framework, those that go there say thank you and then get shot. Saying “Israel” is the client means little beyond chain of responsibility, there might be further hierarchy, and so “Israel” might equally also be serving US decision, hence US being really the client. We don’t know, it is often discussed, and it gets confusing. If US president put his signature to it, it is then US from my viewpoint.

A link to the Middle east Eye story on BoD of British Jews condemning the famine. Though the statement stresses that the Board of Deputies’ “solidarity remains with the Israeli people”, while its president condemned some statements and actions by Israeli leaders and settlers. This ignores the fact that “the Israeli people” are not far off 100% behind the same Israeli leaders and settlers.

It’s been apparent for two or three years now that our defeat in Ukraine would by no means lead to the end of the wider conflict. Both the European and American components will move on to more destabilisation along the entire perimeter of the RF. I thought that the disturbances in Kazakhstan just before the SMO were part of that:-
“Looking at events in Azerbaijan, then, puts all that in context. Ukraine is but one theatre in the ring of destabilisation we’ve been trying to set on fire since long before 2022 and the Russians, in expanding their military so much, are getting ready for any other theatres that might crop up in the future. It’s not as if we in the West haven’t tried to set fires along the Russian perimeter already.
“Just before the SMO we saw the disturbances in Kazakhstan. The Russians sent in a large expeditionary force fast and put the fire out forthwith. Nevertheless, it looked at the time as if we were trying to set the RF on fire both ends at the same time.”
(From comment here, also submitted to MOA>)
https://canadiandimension.com/articles/view/jousting-with-the-empire-a-review-of-walden-bellos-global-battlefields
But “suspect”, “looks as if”, aren’t exactly proof. One needs more than that. I think that’s here. At 50 minutes Alastair Crooke sets out an authoritative summary of Western intentions along the Russian perimeter.
Crooke is a scrupulous analyst and acknowledges that his knowledge of some of the events mentioned is incomplete. But allowing for that, what he does know sets out the picture. We’re in for the mixture as before.
It’s being pointed out that Trump has fooled many of those who hoped he’d put an end to these forever wars. Many of us, I should say, because I’d also hoped Trump would do just that. In fact as far as foreign policy goes he’s a re-un of the Biden administration. But he was the only Western politician who at least made the right noises at the time.
Crooke, earlier on in that video, makes the point that Trump’s heading for a lame duck Presidency. The PR requirements of US political faction fighting will therefore lead to the deaths of many more thousands. What’s new there, is all one can say to that.

Van Hollen is about the only Senator speaking up about Gaza. I don’t count Sanders, because he always feels he has to add that “Israel has the right to defend itself”, which is a strange line to use about an occupying force. Israel has no right to self defense since it occupies Palestine, but it does have the obligation to provide all neccesities of life to the territory it occupies. Palestine, on the other hand, has the right to armed resistance.
Anyway, Van Hollen said last night that Agular will testify to Congress about the situation in Palestine. Whatever Agular did in his prior military service, he has certainly seen the light regarding Palestine. Actually pretty brave to face those soulless ghouls in Congress who take money to erase human beings.
It took Van Hollen almost a year to say anything himself. He watched all this and hardly a peep until a couple of months ago. He got dozens of emails from me while he twiddled his thumbs, but probably got tens of thousands from other people in Maryland; it’s a fairly anti-wars, anti-death, anti-invasions state.

Weizmann Institute scientist to rebuild research in Toronto after Iran missile strike
‘It’s not just a building – it’s years of work, relationships, memories. ‘
Alissa Greenwald, a cancer researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science, had been planning to move to Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital this fall, where she was offered a post as a principal investigator, when her lab was hit in the barrage of Iranian missiles last month.
The move is still underway, but the bombings make it harder for her to leave, she says. “Leaving when things are going well is easier…Leaving in the wake of destruction and loss – emotionally, it’s harder.”
In the early hours of the morning of June 15, during the recent Israel-Iran conflict, two Iranian ballistic missiles struck the Weizmann Institute. The damage is estimated at about 2 billion shekels ($819 million). One of the missiles directly hit the cancer research building in which Greenwald worked. “I live pretty close [to the Weizmann Institute]. We felt the impact. I didn’t think to myself…maybe it was my lab,” she recounted.
From up close, the destruction on Greenwald’s side of the building is so complete that the building’s original form is almost indiscernible – structure blends into debris, and the number of floors is anyone’s guess. “There’s nothing left. Our lab was directly at the site of impact. You can’t even go back and look for things. That part of the building just doesn’t exist anymore.”
But beyond the physical destruction of facilities and equipment (such as microscopes, imaging systems, and flow cytometers worth millions of dollars), Greenwald described a sense of loss stemming from the destruction of rare patient samples. “The equipment is expensive but can be replaced,” she explained. “But these [samples] are from people who are often dying, and they choose to give part of themselves for the sake of science and future patients. That generosity cannot be replaced.”
Like many others in the building, the Tirosh lab, where Greenwald worked, was completely destroyed. While most of the lab’s data was preserved through backups, some active experiments hadn’t yet been transferred to online servers. One particularly painful loss involved a postdoc researcher who had spent hundreds of hours developing an antibody panel for imaging tumor samples.
— The Canadian Jewish Times

They might as well move the rest of ‘israel’ to Canada.

Palestine Action wins bid to defy UK ban under anti-terrorism laws
Huda Ammori, co-founder of the pro-Palestinian campaign group Palestine Action, won permission on Wednesday to proceed with a legal challenge against the British government’s decision to ban the group under anti-terrorism laws.
Ammori petitioned London’s High Court to allow a full judicial review of the proscription, which the government justified by alleging the group had committed or supported acts of terrorism.
Earlier this month, the High Court rejected Ammori’s request to suspend the ban. A subsequent emergency appeal also failed, and the ban officially came into force just after midnight on July 5.
Under the UK’s proscription laws, membership in Palestine Action is now a criminal offense, carrying a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison.
High Court Judge Martin Chamberlain granted Ammori permission to pursue a judicial review, ruling that her argument, that the ban disproportionately interferes with her and others’ rights to freedom of expression, is “reasonably arguable”.

Only Genocide Jews refer to Palestinian land owners as Bedouin.
Bedouin is defined as “nomadic arab tribes” which is a deliberately misleading description of Palestinians living on ancestral lands.

Irony: the blazing opposition of the UK to Russia which apparently (weird !!!) extends back most of a couple centuries together with its hallucinatory sense of them being a primary player on the world stage…..might have good side effects.
In their delusion, they might actually bring themselves to support a Two State Solution, if they get trapped into doing that by an increasingly extremist Israel. I mean, if Israel is discourteous and doesn’t have tea with King Charles or whatever.
It is difficult to avoid vulgar language when it fits so well. Thus, we have had “leaders” such as Trudeau or Starmer – who could be summarized adequately as “Pu$$ies” I.e. Persons of apparently male gender who are pusillanimous. It’s just so much easier and accurate to say.
So, the Mighty UK might, perhaps, maybe support the Two State idea (gasp !)

The most absurd and chilling line in Israeli government and military propaganda goes something like this:
“There is no famine in Gaza. But if there is, it’s Hamas’s fault. Yes, we will cut off food, water, and electricity. Yes, we will bomb bakeries and food convoys. Yes, we will shoot civilians trying to collect flour. But no—there is no famine. And if starvation exists, it’s the terrorists who are to blame.”
This grotesque contradiction—denying famine while deliberately manufacturing its conditions—is not just propaganda. It is a calculated attempt to weaponise humanitarian suffering while absolving the perpetrator. It reflects a perverse logic where enforced starvation becomes a tool of war, yet responsibility is projected onto the victims.
No amount of airdropped crumbs can mask this structural cruelty.

Republicofscotland mention on previous Pal thread black guy Chris Smalls who was on board the humanitarian ship Handala.Chris Smalls is a labor union organizer who in 2022 conducted a successful campaign to establish the ALU (Amazon Labor Union) in Staten Island NY Amazon warehouse.
His presence on the Handala is an interesting connection to workers’ organizing struggle to revive and gain strength again in US.
Maybe someone is up to date on what happened to those humanitarians on the Handala?

Carney told reporters the planned move was predicated on the Palestinian Authority’s commitment to reforms including commitments to fundamentally reform its governance and to hold general elections in 2026 in which Hamas can play no part….?

What would have happened if Iran had continued Bombing israel ?
Posted by: Mark2 | Jul 30 2025 20:31 utc | 32
I believe the US would have been forced to publicly and openly request a ceasefire or sue for peace on behalf of israhell.
However, on the way to that point the Irani State would have had to deal with massive civilian casualties and it was very clear from early on that the Iranis were not prepared to lose any more civilian blood than was needed to repel the Zionist offensive.
In other words, the preservation of civilian life was primary to the State, even over a more comprehensive victory.
In any case, the Iranis won a technical victory, regardless of the fact that their civilian death count was higher. They “took the win”, so to speak.
If there is a next round, I believe the Iranis will behave exactly the same way, i.e:
Do just enough to repel the offensive and reduce Irani civilian casualties.

Canada announces intention to “recognize” Palestinian state at UN General Assembly in September, a process contingent on 2026 “elections” in which Hamas will be barred. Similar expectations in 2006 of a Palestinian Authority electoral victory in Gaza led to the current problems, after the intent of the voting Gazan public was never recognized by western countries. This seems to be a move to prevent or delay Israel’s outright annexation of occupied territories.
Australia and New Zealand now considering joining Canada and UK in recognition – which would make 4/5ths of the 5-Eyes anglo bloc in support of Pal state- which should raise suspicion and lead to close analysis of their proposals.

A summary:
“Sources in Gaza hospitals: 73 martyrs by Israeli occupation fire since dawn today, including 61 aid seekers.” Via Hossam Shabat (martyred).
Note: Several hundred also wounded at two massacres.
Food deliveries today:
“Total trucks: 38 trucks
30 trucks were stolen, while only 8 made it through safely.” Via Ayman Hanideq.
Starvation increasing. In Gaza there are 40 000 infants under one year old, and 60 000 women who are pregnant.
“Israel” invites other countries to take part in airdrops:
https://t.me/Sohaibpress/112489
“We tried” and looks impressive, but supplies via airdrop are not a viable solution, and so far reports are that they are minimal in comparison to by road.
So some are asking what is the point of sending minimal amount of trucks that then get sacked, then putting on an air display.
Germany and Spain said to be organising for airdrops also.
As ‘west’ talks of recognising Palestine (Sept. maybe) , “Israel” is moving towards annexation. Recognition by western countries is not UN recognition, which is understood as the basis legitimisation of use of force that most westetn countries stand behind (or manipulate). In other words, if UN could mandate without UN recognition of Palestine, ‘it would have’.
US is able to veto UN recognition of Palestine.
So airdrops, chaos at ground level, possible increased military offensive to annex Gaza,
“Israel is exploiting the negotiations with Gaza, and the international recognition of Palestine, to annex vast areas in the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem.” Sohaib Al-Masalmeh
It could be said the recognition of Palestine by some western countries is an attempt to ‘not be left out’ , i.e. hedge some appearance of legitimate influence over Gaza/Palestine. It is even possible that it is to provide a motive to “Israel” to annex, is synchronised i.e. to creates a future bargaining point that leads to a false resolution (for example “Israel” concedes Gaza but keeps west bank, Gaza under UN supervision run by western backed enterprise…’all solved’) .
It is the sort of future show we might expect to keep attentions fixed and to try to cover past atrocities as bygone.
In reality, genocide and atrocity continue and none of the mentioned countries have acted, nor act, to oppose that in any meaningful way.

Re. to Prof. Mohammad Marandi on India Global Left, “Israel’s War US Lies & Iran’s Stand on IAEA”, July 30:
Prof. Marandi defends Iran’s recent decision to invite the IAEA to Tehran for talks. In response to disagreement that IAEA should be allowed into Iran at all, he says it means nothing; the meeting could as well take place anywhere. Prof. Marandi also explains that were Iran to refuse to talk to Iran at all, this could influence global community’s opinion on Iran’s position on enrichment or on its relationship to nuclear power in the world? I am not sure. A country’s possession of nukes is of course an understandably sensitive question. However, I disagree with the Prof. that it is meaningless that the IAEA coming yet again to Iran even if it’s only talks and Marandi says will have no effect on Iran’s enrichment or other nuclear plans.
If world opinion is what Iran is worried about, the return of Iran to intercourse with IAEA, without any acknowledgement by Grossi of his previous abuse of his position, would suggest at best that Iran is internally divided between hardliners and the more liberal govt. officials –(the outline of the procedural journey to ratify this plan thru Iran’s governing bodies is somewhat delineated by Marandi and too complicated for this post to follow) — at worst people could interpret this as Iran is still dreaming of rapprochement with the West.
The point is that it seems about time for Iran and the global resistance to USWest global hegemony to stop being afraid of USWest propaganda. Dont they understand that most of the world’s peoples who are opposed to USIZWest, seeing the genocide of the Palestinians, many having already experienced the effects of empire’s past crimes, will not view Iran’s messing about with the IAEA as a positive step — esp. after Iran already correctly acknowledged (and experienced!) the level of IAEA’s corruption? So whom is Iran worried about? The Europeans?
If Iran is taking this step for the superficial reasons Marandi gives, no, Prof. Marandi, NOTAGOODIDEA. (Interviewer Jyotishman looked doubtful also, imo.) Ominous, in fact, or really dumb? Why is Iran doing this?

re: #43, #45 ‘Canada Says It Intends to Recognize A Palestinian State in September’
The flood of UN member states promising to ‘recognize a Palestinian State’, including Canada is designed to distract from USrael’s genocide and to save ‘Fort Israel’ using the PA puppet regime as ‘The State of Palestine’ while excluding any participation by Hamas.
What is intended was revealed when Canada’s bankster Prime Minister, Mark ‘Goldman-Sachs’ Carney, recently said the quiet part out loud…
Today In An Interview With CNN, Prime Minister Carney Suggested That He Wishes To See a ‘Zionist Palestinian’ State
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLTCTQ6RDL8/
“To be clear, in all of Canada’s foreign policy history, we are not aware of a Canadian Prime Minister suggesting that a Palestinian state needs to be ‘Zionist’.
This statement is in fact contrary to Canada’s current foreign policy stance, which affirms the right to the creation of a sovereign, independent, viable, democratic and territorially continguous Palestinian state – to be determined by Palestinians and for Palestinians..”
Settler-state Canada, an admitted Indigenous genocidaire itself, has much experience in these matters, Expect its considerable expertise in this regard to be put at the service of ensuring the continued domination by USrael.
Meanwhile, with the help of Carney’s Canada, sending lots of bullets to blow away Palestinians, there’s a genocide waiting urgently to be stopped by the rest of us…

EO, thanks for your comment and the link to the Alastair Crooke interview with Nima. I have seen that earlier already and agreed with what AC has said. Now I realize that I have not seen the global picture some 10-15 years ago, when I considered the Ukraine war and beginning Syria ‘dirty war’ as regional issue, meaning that it was Israel’s plan “B” to get out of the Palestine lands and get back to Ukraine and Crimea. The plan to create “California in Crimea” was talked about for years before, under the Soviet regime. That’s why I was wrong, fixating on the Israel/Zionist ‘rail’.

Are there still people on this forum who claim the Arabs have not been supplying israel via a land corridor?

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan have discreetly operationalized a strategic land corridor connecting the Persian Gulf to Israel’s Mediterranean ports, effectively bypassing the Houthi blockade that has paralyzed Red Sea shipping lanes. This overland “Persian Gulf–Haifa Corridor” enables trucks loaded with containers at UAE ports like Jebel Ali and Khalifa to transit via Saudi Arabia and Jordan directly to the Israeli ports of Haifa and Ashdod.

Precedent for UNGA referral to the ICJ/ICC
This would not be the first time for such a referral from UNGA to an international court, an example being Britain’s criminal treatment of the population of the Chagos Islands over 50 years. On 22 June 2017 the UN General Assembly adopted resolution 71/292, in which, referring to Article 65 of the Statute of the Court, it requested the Court to render an advisory opinion on the matter. Thirty-one Member States of the United Nations and the African Union filed written statements, and ten States and the African Union filed written comments on the written statements. Twenty‑one States and the African Union participated in the oral proceedings, which took place from 3 to 6 September 2018.
In its Advisory Opinion delivered on 25 February 2019, the Court concluded that “the process of decolonization of Mauritius was not lawfully completed when that country acceded to independence” and that “the United Kingdom is under an obligation to bring to an end its administration of the Chagos Archipelago as rapidly as possible”.

The British government, are so far gone when it comes to protecting Israel and its interests – that they just proscribe any group – that they think might have an impact against the Zionist occupying force in Palestine – known as Israel.
“The co-founder of Palestine Action, a pro-Palestinian activist group, has won the right to challenge the British government’s decision to ban the group under “anti-terrorism” laws.
London High Court on Wednesday permitted Palestine Action’s co-founder Huda Ammori to seek a judicial review, saying it was “reasonably arguable,” that the ban had disproportionately interfered with the group’s right to freedom of expression, assembly, and association under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
The group has targeted Israeli weapons factories in the UK and their supply chain, focusing much of its campaign on Elbit Systems UK, which it accuses of manufacturing and supplying weapons to the Israeli military amid the regime’s brutal war on Gaza.
Palestine Action has accused Britain’s government of complicity in Israel’s genocidal campaign against Palestinians, especially in Gaza.”

As if the Zionist monsters actually care what the EU does – Israel doesn’t even respect the UN, never mind the EU – only force will stop the evil Zionists from completing their genocide. In anycase – it might just be a token gesture from the EU – to make it look as though they are attempting to do something significant against the Zionists.
“The European Union is preparing to partially cut the Israeli regime’s access to the bloc’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program, citing Tel Aviv’s failure to ease the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
EU insiders reported the development on Monday, saying the European Commission, the EU’s executive arm, was about to pass a decision on the matter.
The bloc began dwelling on the decision to enact the suspension after the regime refused to honor a prior agreement to substantially boost the flow of food and medical aid to Palestinians in the coastal sliver.
It had compelled the regime to act on the agreement, given that Tel Aviv had all but choked off the flow of desperately needed aid into Gaza during its ongoing war of genocide on the territory.
The suspension targets Israeli start-ups involved in such technologies as cyberspace, drones, and artificial intelligence that could be used by the regime to target Palestinians.”

Sorry. Accidentally published in the Ukraine thread.
This needs to be more widely known.
PROOF THAT WW1 WAS FOUGHT TO STEAL PALESTINE/ISRAEL FOR THE JEWS.
The First World War; 100 years of lies.
So, why was the first world war planned and executed?
To steal Palestine/Israel for the Jews!
The plan was already well known in 1853.
The following is a quote from George Faber’s 1853 book on the downfall of the Turkish power and the return of the ten tribes (available here).
“The subversion of the Turkish Power will evidently occasion, as all seem to anticipate, a fearful general war. This war will, I believe, be the last under the present order of things. It will commence, indeed, in Europe: but,… it will pass into Palestine…. and, in the course of its evolutions, Israel will be restored.”
George Faber and his fellow conspirators, the Jews, successfully bought the plan to fruition, as can be seen from the following:
“The subversion of the Turkish Power [i.e., the Ottoman Empire] will evidently occasion, as all seem to anticipate, a fearful general war [i.e., the first world war]. This war will, I believe, be the last under the present order of things [ushering a new world order]. It will commence, indeed, in Europe [with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914]: but,… it will pass into Palestine [western troops entered Palestine early in 1917]…. and, in the course of its evolutions [the second world war beginning 1939], Israel will be restored [Palestine/Israel was successfully stolen from its rightful inhabitants in 1948].”
Some have complained that George Faber should not be included among the conspirators. They claim that he was just being used by the Jews to attain their ends. To back up their claim they state that Faber foresaw the return of all twelve tribes of Israel, which never happened, whereas the Jews only wanted the return of the Jews, which did happen. Once the Jews had obtained their goal, no more was heard about the return of the other tribes, it just wasn’t a concern. This indicates that Faber’s notions were of little importance, and that he was being used by the conspirators, rather than that he was among the conspirators.

A new flotilla aimed at breaking the Gaza blockade by the Zionists hopes to set sail – if it leaves from Bristol its should be sailing under a British flag of protection – no doubt the British government will turn a blind eye as the IOF board this flotilla and gets very heavy handed as they tend to do.
“The atmosphere at the Malcolm X Center in the English city of Bristol is charged with purpose. Activists from across the UK and abroad have come together under a new banner, one committed to breaking Israel’s blockade on Gaza.
They call it the global Sumud Flotilla.
What we are going to do next is to go in a mass movement of boats to break the seas, so tens of boats going through different ports, mobilizing so many countries. 44 countries are involved.

Another reason why, the US has put a $25,000,000 million dollar bounty on the head of Maduro – Trump especially, is desperate to overthrow the socialist president of Venezuela.
“The Venezuelan president has slammed Israel’s long-running aggression on the Gaza Strip, stressing that silence in the face of crimes by the “Nazi-Zionism” in the besieged Palestinian territory is a “moral crime.”
Nicolas Maduro made the statement at the Bogota summit on Tuesday, which was held in the Colombian capital with the aim of seeking and coordinating legal and diplomatic measures against Israel’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
“Every bomb dropped on a Palestinian hospital, school, or home not only kills innocent lives, but also undermines the foundations of world peace and accelerates the moral collapse of the international order,” Maduro said.
The Venezuelan president underlined that the gathering serves as “a moral and political response to the atrocities being committed against the Palestinian people amid unprecedented impunity.”
Maduro urged the international community to break its complicit silence in the face of the Israeli “killing machine.””

My comment from the previous Palestine thread.
Let me be crystal clear. It is not the Resistance to the enemies of Islam, the Jews and the Christians of USUKIS , that are condemned in the Qur’an as hypocrites/ munafiqeen who won’t be forgiven by God .
It is the Muslim collaborators with the enemies of Islam, the Jews and the Christians of USUKIS, that will not be forgiven.
The list of collaborators includes:
1/ Muslim Turkiye which housed the USUKIS NATO headquarters for demolishing Syria in the Syrian War in Adana.
Which attacks its Muslim neighbour, Kurdistan on a daily basis.
Which supplies oil to Israel during the Palestine Genocide.
2/ The tiny little , unimportant Muslim tyrannies of the Gulf, Sauds , Qatar, UAE, Kurdistan, who conduct takfiri , sectarian genocides in order to blacken the name of Islam for the benefit of USUKIS, in the eyes of the rest of the world.
3/ The Islamist groups who operate internationally for example in Russia for the benefit of USUKIS political propganda.
It does not include the Muslim countries which are 100% controlled by USUKIS or under siege by USUKIS proxy jihadists, because they are compelled by force and necessity, not by greed to comply with USUKIS demands.
Nor does it include the non-Muslim countries like China and Russia who continue to trade with the illegal entity during the USUKIS genocide.
Nor does it include Muslims who are seduced by USUKIS propaganda like LinkedIn and Facebook to support the lure of USUKIS culture intellectually , but not politically. For example who don’t support the USUKIS genocide.
People are free, but if they conspire against Islam and Muslim safety, like HTS, bringing war and chaos unnecessarily to Muslim countries, God has stated categorically that they won’t be forgiven for that, even if they go to Mecca for forgiveness.
They will not be forgiven for helping the enemies of Islam to destroy Muslim countries.

So the accomplices in Egypt and Jordan, the dictator and the king, the armed forces, 24/7 protecting the child murderer monsters from the Yemeni and Iranian drones and missiles, allowing the monsters to control the Philadelphy corridor that comunicate Gaza with Egypt, which was a neutral corridor after the Camp David Accord and now Egypt ignore this fact?
Even more than the dictators in the Gulf, the egyptians and jordans, who have borders with the genocidal entity and are protecting it, are the more cowards and traitors of all the region, shame on them, all of them.

Posted by: Dave | Jul 31 2025 10:49 utc | 72

Dave 72
The oil-rich Gulf monarchies have the funds to pay Jewlani’s and the jihadists wages, but they won’t use their money to pay mercenaries to fight Israel.
Countries like Jordan and Egypt would be instantly trashed if they dared to resist. War makes poverty unbearable.
These countries are protecting their own populations.
The Gulf monarchies by contrast pay USUKIS to repress their populations with billion dollar contracts . Money that could be spent breaking the Genocidal blockade of human necessities in Gaza.
The point is that the Gulf tyrannies buy the same GPS technology from Israel that Israel uses to kill Muslims. So they are enabling the Israelis to threaten them, paying for the gun and bullet pointed to their own heads.
If you continually cross the road in front of fast moving traffic, are you the same as the person who waits at the lights for the green pedestrian light?
If Israel attacks Jordan or Egypt that will be an act of illegal aggression. But if like HTS and the Gulf tyrannies you are paying your enemy to protect you, that’s a totally different kettle of fish . HTS has given the whole of Syria to Black Rock. Qatar has given its sea as a pernanent parking space for the US military.
That’s not the same as Jordan and Egypt being used against their will by USUKIS.

Bernie Sanders also posted a separate video on all his social media accounts repeating these genocidal Zionist propaganda lies. “1200 innocents” were not killed by KHAMAS on October 7: xcancel.com/zei_squirrel/status/17… He is counting Israeli rape-soldiers and cops as “innocents”, and erasing the Hannibal Directive Israeli mass murder and burning alive of their own children and civilians.
And anyone who says KHAMAS started this genocide, not “war”, and erases the genocidal siege, occupation and massacres of Gaza is an evil sub-human monster. And that is what Bernie Sanders and his fellow genocidal Zionists are now and have always been.’
For those who are still confused. I’ll make it simple.
Don’t support the illegal apartheid entity – demand its dissolution immediately.
Return Palestine to its Semetic natives of all religions.
Repatriate the fake Semites back to tge shitholes they came from and mostly have second passports for.
Pay compensation.
Arrest, try and punish the murderers and robbers.
Along with that recognise the owned ultra-violent Zionist created and owned imperilist superpower – the USA – there would be no illegal apartheid entity. It is as much a wholly artificial creation. Going back two centuries.
Which also means realising and understanding that the Nazis of ww2 and the Nazis of Ukrops now are one and same. We are the bad guys. The collective waste.
Which should make obvious who are the real good guys; the antifascists now as before.
Don’t let the new political hope be railroaded at birth by secret Ziofascists as usual. The new movement must have transparent and wholly democratic elected officers and all representatives should declare their opposition to the sinister entity and xenophobia against the global Multipolarists majority and its ascendancy and an end to the unipolar superpower banking warmongers.

Can what is happening in Gaza be called a war?
@Posted by: Doctor Eleven | Jul 30 2025 15:16 utc | 1
The Israel-Hamas War
is in fact
The Israel-Hamas Smokescreen for Genocide
Ignoring the sheeple for the moment,
most people realize Netanyahu doesn’t give a sheet
about the hostages.
Some people knew all along – he Hannibaled hundreds
of hostages and potential hostages in the first
hours of October 7th – for God’s Sake!
That is the first realization.
Second is the realization that Netanyahu
doesn’t give a sheet about defeating Hamas.
He supported them for years and allowed (LIHOP/MIHOP)
Hamas to infiltrate well into Occupied Palestine
AND delayed IDF reaction for hours on October 7th.
If Hamas disappeared today Netanyahu would continue
the Genocide tomorrow.
The term “Israel-Hamas War” is simply a propaganda device.

I apologize if I am repeating already posted information. Gayatri Galloway of Social Media News Update portion of George Galloway MOATS July 30, “He Hasn’t Gone Away/Epstein Stalks Trump, etc. MOATS LIVE show (link on John Gilberts post #58 on OT 2025-170) has said that as of July 30, 2 of 21 Handala people taken by Israel, Chris Smalls, US labor union organizer, founder of the Amazon Labor Union and Hatem Laouini, a Tunisian trade unionist remain in Givon Prison in Ramala. They are being subjected to same conditions as Palestinians, including torture. A third prisoner, Santiago Gonzalez Vallejo, a Spanish economist and retired trade unionist was released a couple days ago. On July 28 the International Trade Union Confederation stated that it “condemns Israeli interception of Handala solidarity boat and arrest of trade unionists.”
Following this report by Gayatri Galloway, she and George Galloway held an in- depth discussion of the incredible level of racism in Israel. Ugandan and Ethiopian Jews are two groups of African Jews who have migrated to Israel. They are second class citizens there. Israel even went so far as to require that Ethiopian Jews be injected with birth control serum.
The American Chris Smalls demonstrated special bravery by joining the Handala sailors during the time of the Trump administration, imo, which certainly will not lift a finger to help him regain his freedom, although to do so is the responsibility required by the POTUS. Trump doesn’t help Palestinians who are American citizens when Israel abuses, even kills them, nor would he behave responsibly toward a black person, having directed his highest racist attitude toward blacks, as far as I know. To make Smalls situation even worse, imo, the labor unionizer had been invited to the White House when President Biden was in office. This is such an unfortunate occurrence, I would speculate, since it could even contribute to Trump’s greenlighting Israel’s treatment of this particular prisoner. It is a very worrisome situation. I do not know enough about Smalls to know what sort of support he can garner. I imagine there will be more news forthcoming about this distressing story.

Hebrew sources:
7 Israeli soldiers committed suicide this month.
Urgent | Government media in Gaza: The death toll rose to 58, and the number of wounded reached 579 in the Israeli occupation’s massacre in Zikim yesterday. [Massacre in northern Gaza yesterday]
US Senator Peter Welch:
– 70,000 tons of explosives have been dropped on Gaza so far, the equivalent of six times the Hiroshima nuclear bomb.
– The famine in Gaza must end, and the plans for the forced displacement of the Strip’s residents must stop.
– The starvation of Palestinians is not a surprise or an unfortunate, unintended consequence of the war, but rather a deliberate and intentional policy. [Seems it was a surprise to the US politicians – they couldn’t even admit it was happening until now. -Teri]

Canada has been shipping arms to Israel aside from the arms everyone knows about. Not providing consular visitation to a US citizen who is requesting it is an insane move. It the core duty of a consular section. The US diplomatic mission to Israel has made it very clear that there are some American citizens the United States government doesn’t care about.

I am fussy about calling things what they are. It’s important to not operate in another’s frame.
It’s not a war. Hamas has no air force, no mechanized troops, no satellite intelligence. No navy, no barracks, etc.
This has been indigenous people trying to hold their land and prevent their extermination.
A fight for survival, not unlike what Hezbollah wages in Lebanon.
We’re told that the resistance movements are terrorists and the rapist Israelis have Western values.
The language of Empire.

The necessary way one can support resistances from the West is to describe their conflict accurately and to reject propaganda by euphemism.
Moral courage is disruptive to evil.
And inspiring.

Posted by: LoveDonbass | Jul 31 2025 13:38 utc | 84

The empire doesn’t only invade countries.
It invades narratives.
It rewrites memory.
It criminalizes the victims.
It pathologizes the resistors.
It elevates the occupier into a reluctant hero.
It tells you that the people being bombed brought it on themselves.
That starvation is a security measure.
That carpet bombing is a moral act if done by the right hands.
And the moment you believe it,
It wins without firing a shot.

Sorry about the outburst last night and cursing.
However, it is only apology to you all, not to the garbage hasbara who I cursed.
My hatred for the genocidals is now so big it could power a small country.
I could not avert my eyes all this time from the horror and ugliness. It has damaged my life, but feel have nothing to complain, having seen it all now and still alive, relatively safe.
However, I have realized that i should not comment about what I do to them genocidals here in my little colony ( to spare b. our host).
I should be proceeding on my own, when the nightfall comes. And when I hunt them.
Again, sorry to b. about my cursing.I will take a break from writing here. If I ever get normalish, then I write again.
Thank you for a platform, but, honestly I abused it because it has became too small for my rage, and it is not fair to you.
Of course, I will read you and the people I respect.
Though, I have enough sources since forever.
Sorry b., and thank you.

The only thing the the Fascist Orange Dictator would do at Rafah is to , jointly with his Crazies from HTS, open the border with Egypt and drive the Palestinians out of Gaza and the West Bank through it.
But Jewlani is busy in Idlib defending the Northern borders of Greater Israel.
The retired Crazies from Afghanistan and Yugoslavia in the nest of Spies in London are grooming themselves for power in the future capitals of Greater Israel. Plenty of Crazies in Turkiye but Erdogan doesn’t need the bad publicity. The African Crazies are all busy working for UAE.

Explosions, Fires, Prolonged Blackouts Paralyze Israeli Cities amid Infrastructure Breakdown
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Widespread power outages, fires, and equipment explosions have plunged the Israeli occupied cities of Rahat, Ramla, and Lod into darkness, triggering public outrage and exposing the deep fragility of the occupying regime’s infrastructure.
Local media outlets reported growing protests by residents in Rahat, Ramla, and Lod as repeated power failures and electrical fires disrupted daily life.
The power outages, often lasting several hours, come amid soaring summer temperatures, leading to cases of heatstroke and hospitalizations.
Residents condemned the regime’s inability to provide basic services, highlighting the deteriorating state of critical infrastructure under Tel Aviv’s administration.
“The situation in Lod is unbearable; constant blackouts and voltage spikes are destroying our appliances, and the electricity company is powerless to fix anything. It feels like living in a city with no infrastructure or solutions for its people,” a settler wrote on social media:
A video circulating online shows an electrical technician standing next to a transformer and scorched high-voltage fuses, explaining: “Due to severe and unexplained voltage fluctuations from the main grid, electricity is available for just three to four hours a day.
Every two hours, fuses and some transformers explode. The explosions are terrifying locals, and power transmission has been severely disrupted.”
The failure underscores a growing crisis in the regime’s internal stability, where even essential services are unraveling under pressure.
This comes as part of a broader pattern of systemic decay in the occupying entity’s urban management and public infrastructure.

Resistance Cyber Forces Target Key Israeli Military Supply Chain
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A cyber unit aligned with the resistance front announced it has successfully hacked and disabled the infrastructure of the Manamim Food Industries Holding, a company openly endorsed by the Israeli war ministry.
The hacked company is one of the primary suppliers of food and logistical support to Israeli occupation forces deployed in the Gaza Strip.
In its statement, the cyber wing revealed the existence of newly organized intelligence units dedicated to tracking and evaluating corporations that assist the Israeli regime.
It issued a stark warning to all companies and factories backing the Zionist war machine that cooperation with the occupation forces will render them legitimate targets in upcoming operations.

https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/belgium-refers-war-crimes-cases-against-two-israeli-soldiers
Belgian authorities have referred war crimes complaints filed against two Israeli occupation soldiers to the International Criminal Court (ICC), marking a precedent-setting case in Europe. The decision, announced by the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office on July 30, follows complaints filed by the Hind Rajab Foundation and the Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) earlier in July.
The legal action stems from the soldiers’ presence at the Tomorrowland music festival in Boom, Belgium, where they were identified as members of the Israeli Givati Brigade. They had reportedly been waving their unit’s flag during a performance, drawing the attention of human rights activists.
