“Even Kunstler”?
He’s as zionist as they come. I stopped reading him after Oct 7 because his take turned my stomach.

===============
Kunstler is a weird case. Yeah, total Zionist. I didn’t realize that until after Oct. 7.
I continued to read him because he does a lot of research and forks up stuff about the Deep State and also keeps track of relevant past shenanigans that one needs to know. Many of his analyses or at least accounts of what goes on in US politics and govt. are very insightful. And the writing is entertaining.
But the Zionism blind spot also means that he misses a lot, also domestically. Critical thinking seems to stop at the (missing) foreskin. He seems to be fine with the genocide and is totally oblivious of the influence of the Israel Lobby. Or, supports it.
I started to read today’s post, “Game On,” and didn’t get past the first sentence. Upchuck territory.
I also found him to be a bit of a prick, socially. I really put myself out for him when he was trying to make some vacation arrangements. He was rather boorish and never even said thank-you. Kind of goes with the little-hat territory, one might think . ..

Putin again looks weak in front of the Russian people.

I know, right? Russia should immediately lash out and launch in all directions, kill’em all and let god sort’em out like the vaunted US Marines. Yeah, baby, shock-n-awe! HooWah! It’s the proven way to leave trail of death, misery, and failed states behind you. Putin just doesn’t get it.

Its not Israel . Its a US war
Starts at the 9:20 mark.
Key points made.
This is clearly a US war.
US doesnt have the ability to invade iran
US relying on iran collapsing within
US relying on compradors to move in and bring Iran back under the US control.
Bombing iran will be followed by acts of terrorism within iran and massive propaganda campaign about how iran has been critically wounded

Yes, it is possible that known nuclear posturing by the zionists is a bluff; but their reaction doesn’t prove that they don’t have them.

The proof of possession of nukes is to conduct surface tests.
Rumors are not sufficient for that kind of claim.
All nuclear powers have demonstrated their capacities with surface tests.
In fact it is totally beneficial to states having nuclear weapons to show them.
Israel would not be suffering missile attacks from Iran if it had nukes.
Simple fact.
The rumors about Israel non-existent nukes are of five types:
(1) Israeli ‘whistleblowers’
(2) American ‘intelligence’ assessments
(3) American and Israeli politicians
(4) Just two American and European scientists organizations, and
(5) ‘Leaks’ from former apartheid state South Africa, a close partner to Israel.
All of those sources are compromised of course.
They are willing to spread all the necessary chutzpah (and then some more) to make Israel look stronger.
On the other hand, all those beleiving Israel has nukes are either
(1) cunning Zionists trying to make Israel appear stronger than it is,
(2) ideological simpletons easily falling for rumors, or
(3) regular people that have not examined the evidence with an objective and critical mind

Greetings to all,
Reading most commentators’ analyses of Iran’s ability to resist, one thing remains astonishing: have they forgotten that this war, like the one waged by NATO in Ukraine, is a proxy war?
The war being waged by the West against the countries of the Middle East, via their colony aircraft carrier: Israel. Forget the myth of the Jewish lobby controlling the USA and see reality in action: the flow of arms to Israel, the absence of sanctions against Israel, whether for genocide or aggression against Lebanon, Syria and Iran.
J. Cook recently wrote a very interesting article on this subject: https://www.middleeasteye.net/opinion/uk-badenoch-blurts-truth-west-gaza-proxy-war
What are 2000 to 3000 missiles against the empire’s arsenal?
I don’t underestimate Iran’s courage and determination, but the resistance of the Palestinians, Lebanese and Iranians will not be enough. We will also need an international movement of resistance, mainly in Western countries, against this new colonial war, as was the case at the time of Vietnam.
Analysing and commenting is important, but we also need time for action, here and now, inside the US and European fortresses of the empire.
Will we be able to do it? Mobilise or take part in mobilisations, IRL !
This also applies to ending the war in Ukraine.
Strength, determination and courage to all!

Operation True Promise 3: Iran’s ballistic missiles strike Tel Aviv
Al Mayadeen | June 13, 2025
Iran has launched three missile salvos targeting “Israel” in retaliation for its aggression on numerous Iranian regions and sensitive military and nuclear sites, with estimates of more than 200 missiles being launched.
Israeli media reported that close to 150 missiles were fired from Esfahan, Iran, toward “Israel”. It was later reported that a fire broke out in Tel Aviv near the Israeli Security Ministry after a missile achieved a direct hit, as the IRGC announced that the retaliatory strikes were conducted under Operation True Promise III. At the same time, Israeli media reported that “massive explosions” were heard above a sensitive location in “Israel”, and that several Israeli troops were wounded in the Nevatim military air base in the al-Naqab desert.
Al Mayadeen’s sources reported that the missiles were fired from multiple bases across several cities and provinces, including Fars in the country’s southeast.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that 200 to 300 missiles were launched in the Iranian attack, with impacts recorded in roughly nine locations across “Israel”. Israeli media lamented that the entirety of “Israel” was under attack.
Two Israeli F-35s downed
The Iranian missiles triggered sirens and air raid warnings across the occupied territories, with reports of missiles achieving direct hits on Haifa. Meanwhile, Israeli media reported several impacts in central occupied Palestine.
The Israeli Military Censor issued a directive not to take pictures and videos of the impact sites across the entity, while Israeli media described the situation as “unusual”.
Israeli reports also highlighted that numerous areas in the occupied territories faced a power blackout as a direct result of the Iranian missiles.
The spokesperson for the IOF doubled down on the media blackout imposed by “Israel”, calling on media channels to stop broadcasting footage of missile impact sites, while Israeli Channel 14 cited a security official as saying Iran was using this footage to assess the accuracy of its missiles.
Following the start of the operation, the IRGC released a statement saying, “Under the directives of the Revolution’s leader, a crushing and highly accurate response was carried out, striking dozens of military sites, strategic centers, and airbases in retaliation.”
Simultaneously, the Iranian Army announced that air defense forces successfully shot down two Israeli F-35 fighter jets, noting, however, that the fate of the jets’ two pilots remains unknown.
IRGC confirms attack on ‘Israel’
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its missile strikes targeted key Israeli military installations in response to the recent Israeli aggression on Iranian territory, emphasizing that the attacks were precise and effective.
In a series of statements released by its Public Relations Department, the IRGC confirmed that it had struck Israeli military centers and air bases directly involved in attacks on Iran. Additionally, the IRGC stated that missile production facilities used by the Israeli army were among the designated targets.
“Testimonies and satellite imagery show that dozens of missiles hit their targets accurately,” the IRGC said, adding that “the enemy failed to withstand the waves of missile attacks launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Reaffirming Iran’s defensive posture, the IRGC stressed, “The security of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the red line for the armed forces,” the statement read, signaling Iran’s readiness to respond to any future threats with equal or greater force.

LIVE UPDATES: Iran retaliates to Israeli strikes by waves of missiles, killing 3
Ahram Online , Saturday 14 Jun 2025
The Middle East has woken to an unprecedented and perilous escalation on Friday, as Israel launched a large-scale military attack on Iran, targeting critical nuclear facilities, military installations, and even residential areas across the Islamic Republic, pushing Tehran to retaliate by hitting Tel Aviv.
Overnight, the conflict between Israel and Iran escalated significantly, as Tehran retaliated to Tel Aviv’s attacks. Here’s a brief rundown:
Iranian Missile Barrages on Israel: Iran launched multiple waves of ballistic missiles at Israel through late Friday and into Saturday morning. Air raid sirens blared across Israel, with explosions reported in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. While Israel’s Iron Dome and US aided Israel in interceptions as well, some missiles penetrated, causing damage to buildings and vehicles, particularly in Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan, and killing at least 3 Israelis.
Continued Israeli Strikes on Iran: Simultaneously, the Israeli military confirmed it conducted overnight strikes on dozens of targets in Iran, including air defenses in the capital region and missile bases in Kermanshah and Tabriz. Satellite images have begun to confirm damage to Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal at these locations.
Heightened Alert and Airspace: Israel has paused natural gas supplies to Egypt, leading to energy shortfalls. Jordan reopened its airspace this morning after closing it due to the crossfire.
Diplomatic Fallout: Iran’s Foreign Ministry has deemed further nuclear talks with the United States “meaningless”.
Leadership Reactions: Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed that Israel would not “escape safely” from its “great crime,” while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of “more strikes on the way.”
International Reactions: IAEA Monitoring: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed the Natanz site was hit but reported no increase in radiation levels. It also confirmed that the Fordo and Isfahan nuclear sites were not impacted.
Calls for Restraint: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, the UK, and other nations have condemned the escalation and urged immediate de-escalation and a return to diplomacy.
Economic Impact: Global oil prices have surged by as much as 13% due to heightened tensions in the critical oil-producing region.

– A senior lawmaker in the U.S. House of Representatives said the current conflict with Israel and Iran could be a singular opportunity for Iranians to overthrow their authoritarian Islamic government.
“Now that their top leadership has been taken out, if there’s ever a time for the people to rise up against this theocracy, I would think the conditions are set,” Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, told Fox News Digital on Friday.
McCaul was part of a group of lawmakers in the Middle East late last month. Part of that trip was in Israel, where the congressional delegation met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and others.
“I think this is the perfect opportunity – it would have been better if, I don’t know what level of coordination took place, but I mean, when an event like this happens – to have this theocracy that’s in power, out of power, and liberate the people of Iran,” McCaul said. “The majority do not like the Ayatollah. There’s a real opportunity for that to just end.”

– Trump joked on Friday morning about the fate of Iranian officials in the wake of Israel’s recent airstrike, according to CNN’s Dana Bash.
They didn’t die of the flu. They didn’t die of COVID,” Bash described him saying “quite sarcastically.”
“They weren’t ready to negotiate. I think they may be now. We’ll see,” Trump said regarding the future of Iran’s nuclear program.

– Listen to Brian Berletic’s warning that the US attack on Iran via Israel is not only about Iran; that it is a grave and last warning that the ROW needs to unite against US plans against Russia, China and multipolarity.
Berletic said that the negotiations with Iran are a cover, just like the negotiations with Russia.
He said that the plan for this attack on Iran was a while in the making and that the attack has nothing to do with Iran negotiating or not. Trump is following to the letter an old wider plan, which includes attacking Iran, that Berletic refers to and cites.
The negotiations about Gaza are also a sham, clear as day.

Iran is probably 100% focussed on surviving, their only hope is to still be standing when the dust settles, even if physically bruised & battered.
Iran needs to be measured, calibrated in its responses, and hopefully with a stronger internal security network. They lost much of their air-defence, but not as much as exaggerated claims suggested, due to internal sabotage with drones (similar to the drone attacks on Russia’s airfields) & electronic warfare .. to clear paths for the airstrikes.
Significant intelligence failure. Again.
Considering Iran, while strong, is no Russia, I figured that sort of blow must have left them mostly defenceless in the first salvo.
So, I was very, very surprised by how quickly Iran recovered, repaired, replaced, relocated, found & plugged holes in AD coverage etc, tracked like packs of sniffer dogs, even found a couple of saboteur squads with batches of the drones & EW equipment in pickup trucks. Maybe just the random tip of several icebergs, but who knows?
I also heard Israel targeted Qom? Does anyone know why? Correct me if I’m way wrong, but isn’t Qom just an old religious city? Full of dusty scholar clerics, with some tourists, pilgrims, visiting archaeologists etc
Plus it may be just copium for public consumption, but even the loss of commanders & nuclear scientists was not that great a loss. One of the commanders had been ill with cancer for some time, but it had been kept quiet, so he died early as a martyr instead. Another one, from Iranian social media gossip, was generally despised and should have retired years ago. One of the scientists was interviewed on Iranian TV recently, semi-retired, lauding the virtues of the younger generation he trained.
But gossip aside, Iran and it’s political, civil, leaderships etc or the “regime”, needs to survive intact, “go the distance”, even if bruised & shaken – do whatever it takes to prevent the internal State structures from dissolving in regime change op, and/or overrun with headchoppers.. while hitting Israel hard enough to hurt it’s military assets. Already “Done a Houthi” trick with their Air Defence taking out a pair of F-35s (the vid is impressive of the AD missiles taking them out)
I suspect that allies are supporting behind the scenes, but Iran is probably messaging “we’re good for the moment, will let you know if we need more. Maybe smuggle some key people out to safety?
One rumour is that Pakistani pilots are volunteering their services, still “high” from the success of their Chinese jets dogfighting with India ? LOL Eager to have a crack at F-35s?? Haha
Iran must survive, or we are all screwed. If it falls, it exposes both Russia & China for the Empires endgame. for that reason I can’t see those 2 countries letting Iran fall if they can help prevent it.

A thousand plus comments later (not claiming to have read even half of them), and one new post by b, and I’m still stuck on the Daily Mail revealing the UK’s involvement in the attacks on Israel. (My post @686) As a response to what’s happened in Northern Ireland, India plane crash maybe.
So a Tass / Daily Mail crossover because I found it curious:
Mail: “Kevin Costner’s son’s face says it all amid actor’s reunion with ex Christine Baumgartner… as insider reveals the dramatic story of his high school graduation”
Tass: “Mexican president sees demonstration of country’s flag at US protests as provocation”
Okay – I would assume that Kevin Costner is Keir Starmer and Christine Baumgartner is Claudia Sheinbaum. No idea who the high school graduate son is, and it’s an exclusive Mail+ article so I can’t read it without subscribing.
Mail: “ ‘Explosion’ on Las Vegas strip after car ‘flees scene’ : ‘It sounded like a bomb’ “
Tass: “Musicians from Russia’s Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra taken to Tehran”
(Me: no one is going to fire a missile at Ireland are they? Well if they did there’d be an explosion I could search for that.) The explosion in Las Vegas was at the Aria Resort and Casino. Google tells me there is an Aria String Quartet that is based in Northern Ireland. … that’s all I have. It’s just curious.

Russia may have issued threats about retaliation if Israel or the US uses nukes against Iran.
So Johan’s logic may not be such a strong proof.
If Johan is right about Israel not possessing nukes
it seems to make the theory of Israel being behind the assassination of JFK less plausible. While the rumours about it might still make some sense for Israel to uphold for reasons similar to those Johan lists. But Vanunus long prison sentence would seem more difficult to understand in my view if Israel didnt possess nukes.
Would that all be theatre? Was Vanunu not actually in prison most of the time?
