No Kings is clearly astroturf. That said, it’s an incubator for real American psychosis.
The “people” are not happy about abortion, pro-life, the economy, Trump, war, etc. There is little holding America together. No shared belief, no social norms. No trust, no solidarity.

Politically, you’re not wrong. But materially they are all getting up early tomorrow to slave away in increasingly awful conditions just to keep a roof over their heads and some substandard food. Wage slavery is an objective unity. All that is required is a party willing to provide a basic political education and perspective to the millions of increasingly miserable slaves. Times like these provide a very powerful impetus to revolutionary politics. The problem is that there is not a single left movement that is not under the control of the Imperialist genocidal Democrats. “No kings” (probably should be called “only queens”) is just the most recent demonstration of the fact.

antiwar.com says US will attack Iran, possibly as soon as MONDAY.
“Sources: US Will Enter Israel’s War With Iran
Call the White House and tell them you do not want any part of this disastrous war
by Dave DeCamp | Jun 15, 2025
Sources familiar with the matter have told Antiwar.com Editorial Director Scott Horton that the Trump administration is poised to enter Israel’s aggressive war against Iran directly. US airstrikes on Iran could begin as soon as Monday.
Please contact the White House by calling (202-456-7041) or sending an email. Tell them that you do not want the US to enter this disastrous war, which could lead to heavy American casualties at US bases across the Middle East.”

why operate so close to India

It was less that, and more it was operating out of DG for whatever it’s mission was, which explains why it would divert there (~sw tip of india) on the way home after an issue with what one can only assume was a snafu with the required tanker-drink on it’s way home to DG.

Targeted assassinations of Military leaders, attempted assassinations of Khomeini and Putin, car bombs, killing entire families just to take out their targets. Quite simply Israel (and the UkroZionists) are nothing other than terrorist states – yet the west lines up to back the Zionists.
Bibi the coward hiding out in Greece (or his bunker) since Friday and only showing up today. A bunch of sockpuppets crying on social media over casualties that perhaps do not even enter into the 100s whilst Gaza is a literal moonscape with 50k+ dead.

@Kadath and Rahul:
F35 has max-range of 2800 KM – more if fitted with external fuel tanks. A few questions come to mind:
a. If Iran’s 2400KM from the Indian airport the F35 landed at, it couldn’t have originated on the west or south of Iran. It must have originated from the east or north
b. Is India hosting F35s for UK?
c. The plane couldn’t have been shooting down Iranian-issue missiles; the missiles were all going northwest, and the F35 (given the plane’s range) must have been operating near the south-east quadrant of Iran
So that seems to suggest the F35 was bombing Iran, and that F35 likely originated from a carrier or a land-mass to the east of Iran. If it originated from a carrier, why didn’t it return to that carrier? Going to land costs more fuel.
Did I get that logic right?

As I suggested last night here and on Simplicius’s thread, logistics capability will be the deciding factor, the most important being the number of Iranian missiles to Zionist interceptors. A Sputnik item says Iran has yet to use its more advanced missiles, those with more powerful warheads and evasive abilities. Then there’re the Zionists hanger queens that some suggest are flying out of Cyprus–was Cyprus prepped with ammo and fuel beforehand? And then there’s the very long logistics train from North America to West Asia whether by ship or air. And if Zionist airbases are unusable and the ports rendered inoperable, just where will critical supplies enter? And then we have the issue of food and water. Much food is imported and most water comes from desalination plants that are prime targets. And then we have the issue of power to move water and sewage along with powering refrigeration. Were millions of MREs stocked for this event? The issue of civilian targets within Occupied Palestine: Since almost all adults are in the military, then there are very few “civilians”–mostly the young.
Compiling a “box score” with all the censorship is very difficult. How many attack waves from Iran and how many sorties by Zionists? What’s the actual level of NATO involvement? What’re the number of aircraft losses? What’s the condition of Iranian AD? Iran is such an expansive nation versus the compactness of Occupied Palestine, Iran has the advantage when it comes to targeting. What’s the real story with terrorist groups operating within Iran? What roles are the Turkic nations playing if any? And I’m sure there are many other Qs that ought to be asked. For now, however, Fog rules the situation.

You have a point, but mostly because Trump is so reckless.
FWIW, I think people should also call their Congress critters.
Also, for important enough issues, demands should always be paired with credible electoral threats. See votersrevenge.info. Unfortunately, it’s not possible with only 1 day to throw together an organized means to do this. So, callers will have to speak on behalf of their own votes, only.
I’ve been advocating for a Voter’s Revenge type app since 2015…. Got very little traction, retired the truly ugly implementation I made of it. I’ve been tentatively planning to us ai to make the updated version I (mostly) brainstormed, in about 6 months, but it may be too late. If war between Iran / China / Russia and Israel / US breaks out next week, all bets are off.

Looks like there’s a lot more going on in the Indian ocean than one might initially presume; this is likely the UK’s main contribution to the war, plus their base in Cyprus.
Those two locs will surely get some attention in the next week or 2, if indeed the U.S. decides to really jump in.

I previously posted that Iran’s lack of resolve in adequate usage of its strategic allies Hzb, Syria and Hamas led to their neutering and downfall, the conseuqences of which are for all to see now, as Tehran and the rest of the country burn under Israeli air force attacks.
I drew a parallel to this indecision and fecklessness vis a vis Iran to both Russia and China, as Iran is to them what the resistance in the Levant was to Iran. If Iran falls, they no tonly lose an ally, but they gain another enemy on their front door.
It seems Helmer is bemoaning and attributing a similar lack of strategic foresight and reactive wishful tihnking to the Kremlin, though i must admit the subtelty and indirect nature of his wording does leave one wondering as to the precise meaning of his post. Perhaps living in Moscow does have a hermetic effect on one’s communication style when it comes to critcism of the country’s leadership, leaving readers to draw thier own conclusions at times. More pieces coming into play, I expect Azerbaijan to be the next in line for treachery, Sunni Iraq too:

The Kurdish-Iranian rebel group PAK (Kurdistan Freedom Party) has voiced it’s support for the Israeli strikes and calls to take advantage of the weakening of the Iranian regime by launching a popular uprising across Iranian Kurdistan
The group declares its readiness to help Israeli intelligence to attack and combat the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) across the Kurdish areas
“>https://t.me/weebunionwar/27359

Same mechanism is at work in West Asia as for the EU and especially the ex-Warsaw pact countries, in Europe everyone got in line for the promised choice cuts when the emperor carves up the Russian carcass, delegates the management of Russian resources, markets, central asian and arctic trade routes to the barking vassals hounds, in West Asia the hounds are lining up for the feast when the emperor carves up the Iranian carcass. Shared history, shared religion, shared culture, family relations all go out the window when the dogs see prey and smell blood, at least among the gentries of the world, that’s the bond that unites Europe with Ukraine, and KSA, the Gulf States, Egypt, North Africa, Central Asia, India etc with Israel, they are all in line for the spoils. That answers all the questions over the passivity, even before a stark genocide, of all the seemingly disinvolved and collaborationist states.
But, something to keep in mind:

If someone thinks that drone strikes and leaking sewage in Tehran are “the apocalypse has arrived” and “the Iranians are on the brink”, let them at least read about the Iran-Iraq conflict to broaden their horizons. About 8 years of war and its colossal millions of victims with chemical attacks and endless bombing of cities.
And then they will look a little differently at the patience of the Persians and what they are capable of enduring in the fight against a much more ferocious and powerful enemy than the current one.
Even Saddam Hussein, with the support of the USA and the USSR, could not hold out against Iran for long.

At this juncture, it would appear that the Trumpeting Elephant in the room (no adults present) is currently eviscerating his base, thus maintaining a holding-action for the two-party duopoly, as engineered and motivated by the Barons of highest finance along with their minions and stooges.

Some good insights. However your demographics relating to the Collective Wa$te requires some reassessments. That Billion plus of wage-slaves are mostly not any longer attuned to fake media and alleged “authorities”. The actual control matrix is shedding faster than some idiot who took four MRNA jabs.
Working stiffs and a significant proportion of the three younger generations are warily and wearingly awakening. Many are no longer buying the bullshit pooped out by the well-coifed “presenters” on main$cream mass media.
“The Center cannot hold…”Mere anarchy” ensues. However that phenomenon will not maintain, as the harried and harassed laboring wage-slaves far outnumber the college miseducated mind-controlled protesting in the misled cause idiots.

Posted by: LightYearsFromHome | Jun 15 2025 18:18 utc | 143

If I see anyone using the word “allow” or “allowed” again I’m ignoring their posts completely as they’re mired in the Western hegemonic mindset. Israel, the US, the EU… none of them possess the power to determine outcomes these days.
Iran didn’t start this war with hundreds or even thousands of missiles… they started it with tens of thousands, albeit of course lesser quantities of the most effective varieties (which they’ve been smartly firing off first). They’ve been stockpiling in deep underground facilities for decades anticipating these events. They’ve had a North Korean mindset ever since the Shah was overthrown.
Israel, OTOH, has been regularly depleting it’s Iron Dome magazines fighting Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis and others. The US & EU are also getting critically low on Patriots, THAADS, SM3’s & SM6’s. There’s no question Iran has more missiles than there’s AD to defend against them, especially when you consider they fire off at least 2 AD missiles for every target.
That doesn’t even mention Iran’s drones. They may have hundreds of thousands of those, more of which will appear as Israeli AD degrades. It’s just like Ukraine… at some point EVERYTHING will get through, and it’ll just keep coming.
Most people don’t realize that Iran’s industrial capacity is quite large. Like Russia, they’ve been heavily sanctioned for years and thus forced to develop and manufacture everything on their own.

Do I fear nukes? YES. Bibi’s as mad as Zelensky, but between Russia, China, NK & Pakistan pressuring Israel (and warning the US) I’m fervently hoping it doesn’t go that far because that will lead to WWIII.

As noted by Tom and others, this is overwhelmingly an air war, but Israel can’t sustain an air war especially if their airbases are under continual missile & drone attack. That’s likely why we’re seeing bases in other countries being utilized, and why Israel’s now begging for US assistance.
IMHO Israel thought this would already be over by now, and whatever Mossad dirty tricks they had have almost certainly been played.
[AND YES, I admit I could be entirely wrong and full of sh!t, but this is how I see it.]

Resistance has no “direction”.
Only consequences. For good or for bad.
It’s a choice.
There is no immediacy to all this. Look at Gaza after 20 months. Still there. Still resisting.
Iran/Iraq – 8 years
Yemen- 10 years- Still they’re resisting.
It’s a choice.
It’s a choice that Iran has already made, over and over.
Russia & China, like the U.S., simply do not matter.
Iran will survive.

Cyprus: This will be the third time on these threads where I have pointed to that obvious target…a huge military base, long held by Perfidious Albion as its central forward operational base. Chances are that the Iranian commandatura has been reviewing and contemplating options for a few of their most unstoppable and powerful hypersonics to utterly eliminate that eastern Mediterranean butt pimple.
Backup base on Cyprus goes down and the force extension system for the Collective Wa$te should be erased for many days and probably weeks. The supporting maritime port might also be targeted. The Turks may drool over that scenario…like the hyenas Erdogan’s clan happen to be.

Hezbollah WAS decapitated, but hardly disencapetated. They are an equivalent of a fleet in being. Still there, licking their wounds and reorganizing for action precisely calibrated to the best possible time for re-engagement.

craig murray from today discussing a number of issues, including the present dynamic between israel and iran.. worth the read…
Starmer and Lammy are Terrified
quote from the article –
“I hope that Iran learns the lesson of Southern Lebanon. There, over many months, Israeli air superiority enabled them to substantially degrade missile systems of various resistance factions. Israel does – not least because of the traitors ruling Jordan and Syria – have air superiority over Iran. In a long war of attrition, Israeli bombing raids could do real damage to Iranian capabilities.”

DOHA, June 15. /TASS/. “Iran has reportedly targeted a weapons facility operated by the Israeli company Rafael, according to the Iranian agency Tasnim, which cited Hebrew-language sources.”
“No further details have been disclosed regarding the extent of the damage or the factory’s specific location”
That should at least be helpful for Gaza & Lebanon.

Disagree. There have been small, unorganized, but widespread local protests in the US for a few months. They have been almost like a social outing. This event seems an outgrowth of those. Things will likely fall back to smaller protests for a while. People who attend are generally looking to the 2026 elections to made dent in Trump’s power in Congress. Possibly take the House back, Senate is tougher.

Russia has been trying to take a chunk of Ukraine for over three years. Let’s see how long it takes for Usrahell to take on Iran. Iran is a much harder nut to crack than Ukraine. They have been preparing for war for decades and have challenging terrain with many mountains, ideal for hiding and building defensive positions. My guess is a couple of months at most. Even if that happens, you clueless bunch will still think Russia is stronger than the rest of the world combined.

If the Outlaw US Empire gets more involved than it already is, what more could it bring to the conflict? Did the B-2s with heir monster bombs return to Diego Garcia? B-52 cruise missiles are part of the depleted armory logistical issue. Sub launched cruise missiles will be quickly depleted with reloads very far away. And as many have mentioned, all Empire bases in range will get the treatment, and they essentially are naked with no effective AD.

On the other hand Israel is doing that. From Intel Slava Telegram:

Likely not unusable for long. A day or two if they care to repair it.
The difference is in the CEP of the weapons being used. Most of the Iranian missiles have a large CEPs, as in larger than the width of a typical taxiway or runway. So it would take a lot of missiles to be sure of putting a hole in a taxiway or a runway.

Are you an Amalek?

A confession: I am an Amalek.
Of Amalekite tribe of course. I’ve known that I’m such a creature since Benny the Butcher first uttered it when he was ramping up the rhetoric against the Iranian nukes (circa 2007?).
Not being a Bible scholar, I look it up. For the uninitiated here is a sampling from wiki:
In 1 Samuel 15:1–9,[30] Samuel identifies Amalek as the enemy of Israelites, saying “Thus says the Lord of hosts: I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt,” a reference to Exodus.[31] God then commands Saul to destroy the Amalekites, by killing man, woman, infant and suckling.[32] This massacre is believed to be a retelling of the raids in 1 Samuel 14:48,[33][34] although it additionally specifies that it occurred in the “city of Amalek”, which was believed to be the “principal place of arms”[35] or the “metropolis” of Amalek.[36] In 1 Samuel 15:33,[37] Samuel identifies King Agag of Amalek as an enemy and killer, saying “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” [Emphasis mine, links at orig]
Ideation: only the chosen ones belong to this earth – well, at least eretz. The rest, as I maintain, are still finding out that, they too, are the Amalek – getting ready for the slaughterhouse.
Are you an Amalek?

SOOO easy to spot when they trot out the same old tired NAFO BS. Three years into the SMO and yet never learn. Good thing this is strictly an air war or we’d be already hearing about shovels and meat waves.
The fact that Bibi has ALREADY gone full-Zelensky in begging for US involvement is extremely telling. I have yet to see Iran begging anyone for anything, and the fact that they’re dismissing further negotiations means they’re comfortable with a protracted conflict. Does that sound anything like someone running low on missiles and/or fearing an internal uprising?

There doesn’t seem to much of an AD zone. There are videos that have been posted of IDF drones flying over Iranian cities.
There is now a claim that Mashhad Airport has been hit to take out an airborne refueler.
There is also a video that bombs are being used at a target that was claimed to be 100 miles inside Iran from the Iraqi border. The point the person who published the video is that the IDF had to fly at least some distance into Iran to use the weapon that is in a screenshot from the video.

I’m pretty sure that Youtube is a fake. New channel, no video, just a still photo, and a rampant pro-Israel interpretation, no doubt with AI voice. I don’t think Attenborough would risk his reputation like that.

Laguerre: great sleuth work. I’d say you’re likely right about the provenance of the piece. However, what I found most interesting is that it was _accurate_. Never mind the pro-Israel slant, it accurately identified the impact of Iran’s first (month ago; seems like ancient history) successful breach of Iron Dome, e.g.:
a. Israel’s psychology of invincibility took a big hit. And you know how the Israeli’s need their sense of superiority. Remember who we’re dealing with here
b. The international community didn’t all come screaming to support Israel. U.S. didn’t knock themselves over to help punish Iran, nor did the rest of the world. Uh-oh. More insecurity.
c. The immediate regional players said “Gee. things seem different. Somebody whacked Israel – stood up as a nation, and took ’em on … and lived to tell about it. Wow!”. Saudi, Qatar, UAE and so forth noticed. More uh-oh for Israel, and the “Abrahamic Accords” (e.g. suck up to Israel agreements)
As I considered it, this vid answered the “why now” question re: Israel’s attack on Iran. In sum, it’s the ol’ “use it or lose it” theme again, only this time the shoe’s on the other foot. Israel’s losing power, and this is the critical moment.
Fake vid or not (e.g. really David Attenborough), it helped to answer that key “why now” question.
Thanks Laguerre for your intrepid take-down. That part passed me by totally. Yet another example of the power of numbers and good communication here @ the Bar. And thanks again to Aristodemos for bringing it to our attention.

The US and Israel believe they have figured out and can exploit Iran’s conservative escalation strategy, according to which Iran will always opt for the smallest possible equitable response to any Israeli aggression, on the presumption that doing so enables the best chance of keeping the government functional, which means victory. I am skeptical that this will work over the long haul, as the US and Israel have demonstrated a capacity for destabilizing measures, guerilla ops, and decapitation strikes that collective work to undermine stability and defang military response. IMO Iran has to radically change its strategic calculations and react much more forcefully to any US/Israel aggression—so forcefully as to leave a big lasting mark.

China is today what the USA was in WW2, the military industrial powerhouse, those who had the USA on their side won WW2. China is far away from the conflicts and pretty much safe from attack on its industrial facilities, unless the USA wants to lose its Pacific fleet or get nuked. Those who have China on their side will win WW3. Long and short of it.

@116 Blindspot
That was March 25 (and sounded placatory). The point is we don’t know, maybe ? The whole media presentation is to suit policy and strategy, that much is fairly obvious, but now with “Iran having an excuse to build a weapon” or simply of wanting to hype a new conflict , or of Iran being in possession already … we don’t know.
My sensation is that Iran is honest on its capability and intent, but that it has researched, and has the ability to build, a nuclear weapon in short order if it so chose.
The point is also that whatever “Israel” imagines, it has not a right to pre-emptively attack Iran. It must first make a case before other nations, instead of relying on some IAEA card thrown in at last minute, without discussion.
I say ‘must’, the whole show is set up with a ‘just in time’ urgency we have become familiar with, and the planning for this direction is long and organised. The hypocrisy of using international norms and institutions while ignoring all their protocol is obvious, as is the strategy of regionally isolating Iran so as to finally attack it on pretexts.
If USreal wants to go without any rules, then it is asking for eventual chaos, because without a greater measure of good respect (not out of fear) the results are a form of illusion, or totalitarianism, or conflict.
Maybe it is the only kind of script they know, or have left, though.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TjbWmigBeHQ
@SeanTheLeprechaun
It is very real. Out of the commenters here, I think you are one of the few aware of just high the stakes are in all of this.
If they truly consider Iran is at threshold, they might well use tactical nuclear weapons to destroy facilities.
They would not hesitate if they had no better option.
Equally that triggers an undeclared, and unknown of, nuclear reply by Iran.
Etc.
I think degradation and overthrow is what is aimed for though, but I don’t know.

May I remind the posters here who aren’t haSSbara or ordinary antisemites that zionists can’t be Jews because Jews follow a religion and zionists are racist, fascist, imperialist, antisemite genocidal bastards. You can’t be both, only one or the other.

“A Bundeswehr tanker aircraft, an A400M Atlas, took part in refuelling Israeli fighter jets over Jordan yesterday.
The Bundeswehr aircraft probably accidentally switched on its transponder for a short time, allowing it to be recognised.
The BRD regime is apparently actively supporting an unprovoked, brutal war of aggression that violates international law.”

I was not aware of UK’s carrier being in the region yet, I had considered a haul-deck ship but thought it unlikely, I hadn’t considered their carrier.
