Tic-Toc Thread On The War On Iran – 2

Machine translated from Hebrew:

Yossi Melman @yossi_melman – 5:50 UTC · Jun 15, 2025

The euphoria was brief. On Friday morning, I asked if it was even necessary to start a war with the Iranians. Shiites are historically willing to suffer. I mentioned their willingness to sacrifice as demonstrated in the 8 years of attrition with Iraq. I recommend that we cut our losses. Ask Trump to stop the scramble for a reasonable agreement. Otherwise, we’ll end up begging for a cease-fire and Iran will refuse.

Yossi Melman @yossi_melman – 6:22 UTC · Jun 16, 2025

There is no one to stop the madness. Ariel Kahana, political commentator for Israel Hayom, writes about Israel’s response plan to attack population centers: The IDF will announce in the coming hours an evacuation order for neighborhoods in Tehran. After that, the air force will bring down buildings, similar to what Israel did in Beirut.

Nima’s point to Larry was that the Zionists have never had any of their wars impact so hard on the lands they stole and suffered high casualties unable to be hidden by the regime. And it will worsen for the Zionists as their AD systems will eventually go quiet for lack of ammo, which is when the non-stop parade of drones will begin punctuated by missile strikes, perhaps beginning as soon as Thursday. Iran, Russia, China, and perhaps Pakistan and India outside of the West will know from their ISR assets how the actual war is going.
Those having a map standing by in a tab will see just how far Tehran is from the border with Iraq and understand that if Iranian AD is functional and being reinforced, that it will be very difficult to reach without getting shot at if not shot down. Yes, Iran is a large nation which makes AD harder to provide unless you have hundreds of mobile launchers that can be deployed in a good, layered grid. Unknown is from what direction will the Outlaw US Empire attack–will it come from the East or the West; obviously both directions need to be defended. Another unknown question: Does Iran have missile assets capable of reaching Diego Garcia or Cyprus? IMO, Iranians have had decades to look at all the possibilities, and I’m sure the Empire has watched what Iran has done in its southeastern regions facing its Diego Garcia base.

▪️Iran’s return to negotiations with the United States is only possible if Israel stops its attacks against countries in the region;
▪️If the US wants to resume negotiations with Iran, it must force Israel to stop aggression;
▪️Tehran will be forced to respond more harshly if the US does not stop Israel.

The current consensus which I agree with is the goal for the Outlaw US Empire is regime change in ALL opposing nations, including Russia and China. The reviews done today by both Johnson and Crooke provide the evidence. The primary motive going back to 1991 is regime change, beginning with Yugoslavia; hell, before that it was Castro and Cuba. Larry dug into the past to also mention Panama, but he omitted Chile, Indonesia, and a host of African nations. I’d include the Lawfare aimed at Lula too. The past tells what’s happening in the present.

Some seem to think Iran should react to Israeli’s mass murder of Iranian civilians with their own mass murder of civilians.
But, what Iran really needs is a large number of LIVING Israeli civilians without electricity, heat and gasoline or even shelter whining and screaming at Netanyahu.
Killing civilians promotes vindictiveness against the enemy. Inconvenience and distress among civilians promotes resentment and maybe even vindictiveness against the local government.

When 80-90% of Israelis support the genocide you’ll have to draw the line somewhere. Giving them a taste of their own medicine is how you bring them back to their senses. Not sit around and sing kumbaiya, which would lead them to think they can keep doing this indefinitely without costs.

It is not an issue of hate. The dog with rabies metaphor is very valid. Some mind diseases are just too severe to cure. The most humane thing to do is put them down. After WWII, the Soviets thought they could cure the Nazis on their territory, but look at the Ukraine today. The Soviets’ cure might have worked given a few more generations, but obviously it is a long-term process that involves containing the diseased until they die off naturally. Even then, the disease only ends in death.
See the movie “Old Yeller” from Disney back before they started to suck hard. It isn’t about hate.

The Haifa refinery got hit. Likely the US and UK will now be fueling the IAF coming and going, sourcing the jet fuel in Spain and Italy. Considering the fueling mission has now doubled (coming and going), and they have to fly to Italy to take on fuel, you need a lot of refuelers. Israel is in trouble, and they don’t have an off-ramp. Either they show Trump some Epstein videos and get him to bomb the missile sites in Eastern Iran, or they go full talmud psyco and use nukes.

Israel’s Euphoria Evaporates: The Iranian Response Has Just Begun
The Israeli commentariat is finally waking up from the delusional euphoria of “total domination.” Even Yossi Melman, Israel’s own veteran security analyst, rightfully questions if the war machine should’ve ever been started.
“The Shiites are historically willing to suffer,” Melman wrote, invoking the ghost of the Iran-Iraq War, a brutal 8-year meat grinder that Tehran endured without flinching.
And he’s right.
You’re not fighting an enemy obsessed with life and selfies. You’re confronting a civilization built on martyrdom, memory, and mission. The West still doesn’t get this. Iran’s response isn’t some reactive tantrum, it’s strategic attrition wrapped in spiritual calculus.
This calculated response to Israel’s sucidial act of madness and desepration isn’t some rogue missile spree. This was calibrated, cascading, multi-front retaliation with a chilling message: we can take pain far longer than you can manage headlines. Iran has this gamed out.
From Tel Aviv to Haifa, Iran has inflicted deveastating damage to key power and military infrastructure, and Iran is prepared for a very long war. Sirens will continue to wail, Bunker life will become the new norm for Israelis and their elites.
Melman warns: cut your losses and beg Trump to negotiate a ceasefire… because once Iran locks eyes with divine endurance, it doesn’t blink. It bleeds, recalibrates, and strikes again until the death cult is grinded down up until the point of collapse at which point it will stop, and let Israel finish that job all on its own.
Tehran’s message is clear: we’ve survived Pharaohs, Crusaders, and Empires. We’ll survive this too, will you?
– Gerry Nolan

I’ll be succinct because it’s very boring arguing in an endless tic tac that goes to anywhere.
Please, let me make a medicine analogy. The millions of American workers, without a public health care, will understand it.
The Pax Americana is dying. It’s a fact.
Between the most skilled doctors there are not agreement about the causes. Genetic? Environmental?
But, all concurr that the patient is sick and his days of vigor are fading away. The prognosis is bad, and a possible treatment requires discipline and a total change of modus vivendi.
The patient had a real family (the American people) , but he lost it for whatever reasons. Now, has a putative family (the American Corporations), who are expecting to heiring the money and the houses, the lands and the business… But, without the patient’s impetus, they are running out about who is going to manage the House.
Now, some other gargantuans (China, India) has become the most important powers in the next years, and the only thing that this putative “family” has to do is, by impotence, making a chaos in ME, hoping, by kinetic conflict, obstruct the chain of blood (oil) to them.
BTW, there’s no possibility of nuclear impacts, neither tactical nor strategic because the first who do it, it’s done. There are some tacid compromises between the instruments of the families.
LOL

Stating the obvious. Israel is a nation of old fat soft people. They absolutely need air conditioning. They are a nation of high rises. They need elevators. They need the pumps to get the water upstairs. This is not optional.
The two largest power plants are out of action. The rest all totally vulnerable. In WW2 it took thousands of bombs to knock out a power plant. Now it is one bomb, one plant. How many to make that plant irreparable is an open question. With one meter accuracy it is a finite number.

“St. Petersburg 1917 and Tehran 1979 were real events. You are fake”
Posted by: Konami | Jun 16 2025 15:28 utc | 211
Of course they were real events but they were in a major way supported by the anglosaxon empire
In St Petersburg a journalist followed the white army under General Yudenich and that journo confirmed that the british military who took part were obstructing the white army so much that one russian officer threatened the british at gun point to force them to fight.
The british tanks were so useless they ceased to work after 400m. The french tanks were better. The british said that tanks were only meant to frighten the enemy from far away and that they were not meant to take part in battles at the front.
The equipment that the british provided to the white forces generally failed. The cartridges/bullits didnt fit in the guns.
They needed tape to wind around the bullets but the british provided an unsuitable tape. The british also sent airplanes but the propellers didnt fit. The shells for the cannons didnt have any charges so the shells just bumped of the trains they were firing against.
The different groups of the white armies were treated differently depending om whether or not they had ammunition left.
If they lacked ammunition and really needed replacements the transports were delayed. While if they had plenty of ammunition more would soon be sent to them.
That journalist wrote a book about it titled something like the dome of one particular church. I have the text in russian but I am too lazy to look for it. He wasnt an admirer of the bolsheviks and eventually fled abroad.
You might ask: Am I claiming that all the british obstructed the white armies and never fought the bolsheviks.
I think the US/UK had 500 casualties among 18000. That information is in G G Preparats book Conjuring Hitler from 2005
but I dont think Britain had more than 1500 men. Canada had 4000 but never took part in the fighting.
Britain did have over 50000 but mostly in the navy I presume.
At one point the British navy did bombard a fort where the reds were but that happened because those bolsheviks were going to change sides.
The americans under Graves did fight and were warmly thanked by the bolsheviks ‘for having saved their movement in a difficult moment’. The NYT reported it in 1920 and the fight was against the Japanese invaders who attempted to take over the Transsibirian railway. Apparently Graves forces successfully prevented that.
Regarding the Iranian revolution I recommend the book Hostage for Khomeini by Robert Dreyfuss from 1981. There are several interesting pieces of information there. For example he mentions that the US was actually behind the occupation of the embassy in Teheran. The reason being that the US needed an excuse to intervene in order to make the europeans understand that the US could carry out a threat to switch off the supply of oil if the Europeans continued with the financial instrument by which they intended to let the poor countries develop.
But be aware that Larouche and associates were later put in prison for economic reasons and I believe they may have been threatened to be suited for defamation of one particular iranian partner to the americans so later they may have had to lay low about these events. Dreyfuss may later have had to avoid that subject in order not to do damage to Larouche et al.
Back to the Bolsheviks again. Lenin stayed in London and so did several other revolutionaries. Officially Britain usually pretended that they were so liberal that they wouldnt prevent revolutionaries and anarchists of all colours. But in reality Britain was the mover and shaker behind all sorts of unrest.
They didnt aid revolutionaries out of idealism but because they used them to weaken the targeted nations.
Tsar Russia and the US had plans to organise infrastructure to tie the north american and asian continents by building a bridge over the Behring’s straite.
Such ideas contributed to Russias selling of Alaska since they thought Russia and the US would resist the British empire together.
Apparently the sum was more about paying for the russian navy’s help to Lincoln during the US civil war.
The above mentioned plans was still in the cards as late as 1906. During some decisive years both US presidents and Russian Tsars and industrial reformers were assassinated and the suspicions definitely go to the British.
Tsar Russia was rapidly industrialising
They had to be stopped before the British navy would no longer be able to prevent it. King Edward VII threatened the Rothschilds who divested from Russia in 1907.
Just to pick one example of what was going on and the importance of seeing it as a sequence of connected events during a pivotal era.

“Would a false flag change anything?”

Was listening to Garland Nixon, half joking he was saying that in current times if the USA is serious about war it pulls out its carriers not sends them in. Thinking about the three carriers being sent, two USA and the Prince of Wales, I’m now wondering if the Prince of Wales is the false flag for USA/NATO Golden Billion involvement? Hit it with a missile or two, blame Iran.
Given the Prince of Wales is a stillborn floating derelict commissioned as a white elephant, the UK version of the Admiral Kuznetsov, it should be expendable. They don’t need to sink it, just some holes, some fire, some smoke, 100 dead and injured sailors, towed back to port with a lot of drama, and NATO’s all in.

Iran is consistently underlining a willingness for negotiation – but under their terms, virtually none of which are acceptable to Israel. However, Putin and Trump are consistently talking and more probably than not, Putin is in dialogue with Xie, Modi, and Zardari (Pakistan). Framework will be worked out among the aforemented prior to actual sitdown meeting; would not be surprised to see Netanyahu excluded (and left to his fate). Also, would not be surprised to see Ukriane and Gaza issues on the table as well. Israel has become a massive, world liability as a result of Netanyahu’s poorly considered actions.

What I was thinking is that since human evolution is driven by the same evolutionary forces that drive all forms of living things throughout the universe, life evolves until it develops the means to destroy itself. Humans have reached that stage of “development” and it’s only a matter of time before the button is pushed. Maybe now will be our turn. Something similar probably happens throughout the universe on any planet where life evolves. Life destroys itself once it reaches a certain level of destructive capability.

OK, I realise this might be a minority view, but I haven’t seen anyone discussing the prospect of Pezeshkian becoming a kind of Iranian Putin, mild-mannered, seemingly compliant at first but gradually taking a more robust stance.
If the West see him as pliable, what evidence would we need to see that they have made yet another mistake?

Statements by Iranian President Pezeshkian:
▪️Iran’s return to negotiations with the United States is only possible if Israel stops its attacks against countries in the region;
▪️If the US wants to resume negotiations with Iran, it must force Israel to stop aggression;
▪️Tehran will be forced to respond more harshly if the US does not stop Israel.

This got negative reactions, including karlof’s “It appears that Pezeshkian has failed to learn the lesson that was just taught.”
I don’t see why: he’s doing a similar job to Lavrov in the other war. And I think it’s always a good idea to (pretend to) be willing to talk. Even from a purely utilitarian point if view, this may allow to exploit cracks among the opponent’s factions. But also on the surface level, statements like Pezeshkian’s signal to third parties that Iran has reasonable demands.
And what he writes there is nowhere selling out. He mentions preconditions before negotations with the US could perhaps be resumed. And they involve Gaza and Libanon.
Russians, Iranians, everyone knows that the West is not agreement-capable. It’s still good that Trump and Putin have phone calls, or that Iran lines out what it takes to talk again.

Apparently, Iran has messed up the Israeli missile launch warning system, which is now giving out false information. Like yesterday, there were also reports of launches today, but then there were no arrivals or air defence operations. The missile attack took place several hours after the hack. Whether this pattern will continue today, we will see soon enough.

If unrest is expected at a large protest, the plods quite often park-up one of their oldest, most clapped out paddy wagons out in front of the police lines.
It’s called a ‘bait van’ (or car).
It makes for great footage on the evening news when the protesters inevitably smash it up and optionally set it alight, more than enough to obscure the cause they were protesting.
Towing couple of hulk aircraft carriers into firing range of Iranian shore batteries is basically following the same template.

I understand Putin to some extent, that he was talking to him, but he may not do so much in the future. Likewise Trump may lose a lot of his ‘talking worthiness’ vis-a-vis others.
