Tic-Toc No. 7 On The War On Iran
Nothing happens. The war continues.
Comments
This is beginning to look a lot like the the Great Ukrainian Summer Offensive of 2023 which was announced months in advance and …. mysteriously failed because the opponent was prepared. Posted by: Norwegian | Jun 21 2025 18:32 utc | 201 Loose lips sink ships – or in this case give the US attack on Iran away. Posted by: MorePain4Cakes | Jun 21 2025 18:35 utc | 202 see the 1:10 video at the first link Posted by: michaelj72 | Jun 21 2025 18:36 utc | 203 “The puppet shah is being briefed – to see if he’ll take over the running of Iran. Posted by: kupkee | Jun 21 2025 18:36 utc | 204 Tulsi’s rapid about face cave-in, the CIA now echoing Mossad’s BS about the Iranian nuclear program, DTRA saying a “nuke” (no clue if ‘tactical’ or otherwise) would be needed to shut down Fordow, Bannon’s comment (see below), Michael Hudson’s analysis, all combine to tell me it’s just a matter of time (within 2 weeks) before Trump gives the orders. Posted by: Tom_Q_Collins | Jun 21 2025 18:36 utc | 205 it seems Iran could destroy any available landing spaces for an American assault. Is that not plausible? hitting Carriers seems easier than sinking one, but a deck hit could really screw up that runway. The PBandarAB could easily the torn up, not sure Israel has an airbase, and hitting Cyprus airfield could be easily done by drone. Posted by: Scottindallas | Jun 21 2025 18:38 utc | 206
Are you sure you’re not positing a separation of oligarchical factions that doesn’t really exist, that the “2 weeks” in not just Trump’s typically crass declaration that this is the amount of time the US needs to prepare? If there really were more power factions in the mix, I’d think we’d be hearing a lot more squacking from Congress. So far, in the government itself, only Tulsi has squeaked, and only briefly. I’m not sure either way on this, but time will tell. I’m the proverbial cat on a small perch above a kennel of pit bulls, right now. Posted by: jonboinAR | Jun 21 2025 18:42 utc | 207 Dreams of the good old days of Savak and the “World’s Largest, Most Extravagant Party” with Trump as the Guest of Honor. Those people need to ask themselves why so many were at the SPIEF. Perhaps they judge Putin to be more mature and wiser than the vast majority. Commentators dislike Putin because he doesn’t share their hatred of the Zionists but don’t try to understand the constitutional issues Putin must deal with–that’s a very common problem I’ve seen here that most always dismiss. Iran will have plenty of time TO SEE THE INCOMING ARMADA. Iran is not a tiny state like Izrahell. Posted by: MorePain4Cakes | Jun 21 2025 18:56 utc | 219 Even if the B2’s are headed to Guam and from there to attack Iran there is no way for them not to be picked by Chinese radar in flight. Well, maybe the main island (Grand Terre, which itself is bigger than the West Bank, so they could not complain that we are not generous enough!), and on the other smaller islands we install watchtowers with AI-powered, remote controlled machine guns (Smart Shooters) in the same way they do currently in the West Bank…just to be sure… Posted by: jure | Jun 21 2025 19:07 utc | 225 When they do, all will be on the target list. As for Putin, while I am convinced that he is a very smart guy, his deference to Israeli’s who are Russian speakers somewhat pales behind the reality that I am pretty sure that these people are Israelis first of all, and Russians a good long way behind. It has recently been admitted by Israel that they have actively helped the Ukraine. Where does that leave ‘Russian ethnic Israelis’? Pro Russian? Doubtful. AIPAC may be a commemorative organization as soon as Ben Gurion opens. Clearly, you’re ignorant of history. Remember the Confederate Air Force! Remember Israel! Posted by: Scottindallas | Jun 21 2025 19:24 utc | 239 The movie “A Bridge Too Far” it has so many lessons about hubris, the dangers of over-complexity, and the ability of the failure of “little things” to undermine the whole, that Western planners and elites need to take to heart. The West may soon become very hostile to Zionists. “Look what you made us help you do!!!” Posted by: Scottindallas | Jun 21 2025 19:34 utc | 245 Could be, given how it played out it would fit right in with the diplomacy deception game. Posted by: LoveDonbass | Jun 21 2025 19:36 utc | 247 A “side story” but important element to the picture faced in potential wider conflict is production of nitrogen fertilisers, which are now necessary to maintain levels of food production worldwide. I will just reel out back of envelope iirc from what I have just been reading …which was prompted by a question in last thread, and something I needed to refresh on.
