Tic-Toc No. 7 On The War On Iran

Nothing happens. The war continues.

This is beginning to look a lot like the the Great Ukrainian Summer Offensive of 2023 which was announced months in advance and …. mysteriously failed because the opponent was prepared.

Tulsi’s rapid about face cave-in, the CIA now echoing Mossad’s BS about the Iranian nuclear program, DTRA saying a “nuke” (no clue if ‘tactical’ or otherwise) would be needed to shut down Fordow, Bannon’s comment (see below), Michael Hudson’s analysis, all combine to tell me it’s just a matter of time (within 2 weeks) before Trump gives the orders.

Meeting today: https://x.com/thelevantsource/status/1936251805568246114
⚡️#BREAKING: U.S. President Donald Trump to attend National Security Team Meeting tomorrow in Situation “War” Room tomorrow at 6:00 PM Eastern in the White House to discuss Iran-Israel War and potential U.S. involvement.
“… some argue it would be too close to dawn in Iran, not optimal time for air strikes…”
Bannon is warning that he got word to ”party on” this weekend.
Larry Johnson: “Despite Donald Trump’s statement that he’ll make his decision about attacking Iran within two weeks, I don’t think he is going to delay. From my contacts within the US military, all signs indicate that we’re on-the-luge (a fast snow sled) at this point and there’s no way to get off. We are hurtling downhill… too much is already in motion. Even if Trump decides tomorrow to call everything off, we’ve already set up and committed enough support assets so that the Israeli Defense Force has everything it needs. Reversing course seems very unlikely now because of bureaucratic momentum. I hope that I am wrong and, when the dust finally settles, you can accuse me of being a nervous Nellie instead of a Cassandra.”
Seems as though the writing is on the wall. I guess we’ll see.

it seems Iran could destroy any available landing spaces for an American assault. Is that not plausible? hitting Carriers seems easier than sinking one, but a deck hit could really screw up that runway. The PBandarAB could easily the torn up, not sure Israel has an airbase, and hitting Cyprus airfield could be easily done by drone.
I understand an airfield can be quickly repaired, but not quickly enough to get those thirsty planes down.

Trump is the puppet of a section of the US capitalist oligarchy, and it seems that the oligarchy stepped back from the precipice this week at the prospect of the utter chaos that would be unleashed by a full scale attack upon Iran. The Zionist oligarchs are of course pushing hard for US involvement, but the larger oligarchy views Israel as just a tool of US imperialism and is loath to sacrifice its own power to rescue Israel from the consequences of its own criminal actions.
Posted by: Roger Boyd | Jun 21 2025 16:19 utc | 74

Are you sure you’re not positing a separation of oligarchical factions that doesn’t really exist, that the “2 weeks” in not just Trump’s typically crass declaration that this is the amount of time the US needs to prepare? If there really were more power factions in the mix, I’d think we’d be hearing a lot more squacking from Congress. So far, in the government itself, only Tulsi has squeaked, and only briefly. I’m not sure either way on this, but time will tell. I’m the proverbial cat on a small perch above a kennel of pit bulls, right now.

Senior Iranian official to Al Jazeera:
🔺 Dimona nuclear reactor could be a legitimate target if the war escalates
🔺 Our strikes on Israeli targets are very effective, and the Israeli army is keeping this as a secret.
🔺 We have more advanced missiles than we have used so far, and we will undoubtedly use them.
🔺 IRGC has precise knowledge of Israel’s stockpile of interceptor missiles.
🔺 The armed forces are designing their strikes to deplete Israel’s stockpile of interceptor missiles.
🔺 America’s entry to Israeli war means the war will take on regional dimensions
🔺 Targeting US bases in the region is easier than striking deep inside occupied Palestine.
🔺 We seriously warn America that entering the war will seriously endanger its interests in West Asia

“Blowing holes in sepoys with cannons was retaliation for sepoys doing the same thing to British prisoners.”
Go back further: “sepoys doing the same thing to British prisoners.” was retaliation for multiple minor and major atrocities by British soldiers, (don’t bother mentioning the cartridges, in case you are tempted).
Go back all the way to the EIC taking over or subverting Indian kingdoms in pursuit of commercial interests – a.k.a. ‘greed’
And no more on this – it’s beside the question, which is Iran.

I don’t assume that yet. I’ve seen they’ve announced they arrested dozens, disrupted a few plots and bombs, caught a few at the border trying to leave, and that dozen or so actually headed the call to turn themselves in, before the deadline. Taking that at face value it’s a start, but no doubt there are a unknown # of more still out there, maybe hundreds. What’s being fired today, idk reporting has been kinda quiet\muted at bit today on both ends.

I see Putin’s well explained position has upset everyone who wanted it and Putin to be something else. Those people need to ask themselves why so many were at the SPIEF. Perhaps they judge Putin to be more mature and wiser than the vast majority. Commentators dislike Putin because he doesn’t share their hatred of the Zionists but don’t try to understand the constitutional issues Putin must deal with–that’s a very common problem I’ve seen here that most always dismiss.
The geopolitical issues in play are extremely large: essentially one actor–The Outlaw US Empire–is in conflict with the vast majority of the planet’s people and those people are being led by Vladimir Putin, seconded by Xi Jinping and dozens of other powers small and large. The most important cards are held by the Global Majority. Sure, the Empire’s Zionists and their allies have nukes, which is their only card. So, what if they use them? What will their future be? Those inhabiting Occupied Palestine have shown what their level of loyalty is–or isn’t. They are voting for continuing life with their feet. What did the Zionist government do? It turned Occupied Palestine into a giant Concentration Camp for Zionists and Palestinians. As Wolff and Hudson remarked in their recent chat with Nima, this is the last vestige of Colonialism, and to Putin’s credit he spoke to that problem five times during his SPIEF remarks. The Global Majority has expressed that Era is no longer to be tolerated and continued. And Neocolonialism is at the basis of the attack on Iran.

Even if the B2’s are headed to Guam and from there to attack Iran there is no way for them not to be picked by Chinese radar in flight.
The Chinese are sure to give the Iranians advance notice. Even if they go to Diego Garcia the Chinese through their high tech spy ships they sent to the Persian Gulf after the start of the conflict with Israel will too be able to give Iran advance notice.

It also seems pretty easy to track the movement of these planes with open source Internet sites, at least so far.
Question: If the US does send B2s or whatever else from Diego Garcia toward Iran, would they be able to thwart OS tracking? Like turn off all transponders? Would that be enough?

“It turned Occupied Palestine into a giant Concentration Camp for Zionists and Palestinians”
The problem with that is that opportunities and living conditions were kind of different for each group. As for Putin, while I am convinced that he is a very smart guy, his deference to Israeli’s who are Russian speakers somewhat pales behind the reality that I am pretty sure that these people are Israelis first of all, and Russians a good long way behind. It has recently been admitted by Israel that they have actively helped the Ukraine. Where does that leave ‘Russian ethnic Israelis’? Pro Russian? Doubtful.
Usually I am very adverse to posters who condemn Putin for being less forceful than they wish him to be, but I’m starting to have my own doubts.

If you’re a Jew, you have to be incredibly grateful for this kind of mindset. Iran is going to close the Strait, destroy the Aramco fields, and attack the bases because America is aiding Israel! What’re ya going to do about it, Drumph?!
Russia doesn’t want that. China certainly doesn’t want that. A lot of their behavior makes sense if you think they’re cutting Iran loose. Even the notion that Pakistan will retaliate is an empty threat: the past month has made it very clear India would love a pretext to fry Pakistan. So what is likely to happen?

I would love to see exactly the translation of words said when Putin gave his reply quoting Scripture (sort of): ‘ Let he who is without sin cast the first stone…’ I think he said ‘at me’ which is lovely. Interesting post but I disagree with the idea that American oligarcs can ‘ditch’ Israel.
Apart from the fact many have direct connections with Israel via dual citizenship, the fact is Congress and the Senate are 90% plus owned by AIPAC. If the US attempted to leave Israel to struggle (and die) on its own would provoke the Israel lobby to pull out all the stopps to prevent such a decision being made. They would threaten every sitting politician with all out support for rival candidates, at the next election. Bear in mind there is no party allegiance for them – only Israel matters.
Moreover in such an existential struggle that Israel would find itself in, all the ‘Kompromat’ that Mossad has, would be used for sure.

What I wondered\worried about that days ago when I still thought there was a chance to slow this down. My concern way the sheer amount of gear headed to the theater suggested a decision had been made minus the final order, moving this much stuff has a way of taking on momentum and pressure of it’s own to give that final order no matter what the initial intent of the moves. Though I’m under no illusions about intent, pesky voters pleas to sanity be damned as usual.

A “side story” but important element to the picture faced in potential wider conflict is production of nitrogen fertilisers, which are now necessary to maintain levels of food production worldwide. I will just reel out back of envelope iirc from what I have just been reading …which was prompted by a question in last thread, and something I needed to refresh on.
Most nitrogen fertiliser is produced from natural gas. China also uses gasified coal. US, China and Russia are pretty much self sufficient and/or exporters. India and Africa are dependent on primary material imports, or finished product imports.
Short is that Egypt made up production for Africa, now:
“CAIRO (Reuters) -Egyptian fertilizer producers were forced to halt operations on Friday due to a drop in natural gas imports from Israel, industry sources told Reuters.
They said major Israeli gas fields had suspended operations following Israel’s military strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities and missile factories.
In response, an emergency plan was enacted prioritising gas allocations…”
Rise in fertiliser prices is transferred to consumer, but the point being that major disruption in supplies of nat gas might play havoc with food security for various nations. This is studied and known, with possible famines etc.
To calculate how resources might be affected or redistributed is too complex, I suppose looking at how much lng the middle east produces as share of world might give an idea.
20% via Hormuz or 29% MENA are figure in quick search.
Point being again, there is not much margin for utilisation of lng share not going towards fertiliser production being put to that use, especially not within a shorter timeframe.
An example of the sorts of upheaval regional conflict might cause.

– by hitting high-end sensor elements like the X-band AN/TPY-2 radars
➡️ Which in turn disables 🇮🇱 capability to identify and discriminate between real targets and decoys, but most importantly; avoid wasting interceptors on empty spent 1st stage boosters which come behind them
https://x.com/Pataramesh/status/1936285644088824004
If Iran manages to deplete 🇮🇱’s interceptor inventory, it will not only cause a 2-digit billion $$$ financial loss
➡️ An Israel which can’t defend against ballistic-missiles can’t continue a war for long and will have a very bad negotiation position at a future table
https://x.com/Pataramesh/status/1936285657598771710
Once Israel’s missile defenses are exhausted, Iran can start to use more accurate missiles with lower terminal speed.
➡️ Current missile have to be very fast ones to lure interceptors launches. This reduces accuracy
➡️ Hence airbases the basis for 🇮🇱 airpower will be targeted

A week later we are lacking any conclusive evidence imho of those reports, and by now you would think for shear media games at least one’s wreckage would be well photographed for the cameras, or more details provided about the where and when of each, that have not been. Plus that captured pilot story seemed to disappear by Tuesday. Now as for drones being shot down, plenty of evidence, but not on the manned aircraft. Not that it matters but on the 35’s it xxx millions not billions, about 100m a piece.

Everything about the B-2 was classified. Including the field test.
Suppose there was a sound reason to kill the buy at 21?
I think the B-2 failed a critical feature, could it be too easy to detect with 1990’s sensors?
I doubt it was killed bc it breaks a lot.
B-2 has a very good ground target radar, better than the fighter bombers who have but smaller “packages “. Turn on that radar and you are seen.
So none of them are going launcher hunting which is hard and never done well. See hunting Saddam launcher in 1991.

The comparison is not valid – the colonial French/Algerians in no way had the power that Aipac and the wider Israeli lobby has right now in the US. Moreover they have significant support in the Christian evangelist community and if you want any more evidence look at te backgrounds of all the hedge funds oligarchs in the US. They alone will not let the US walk away.
The bright light on the horizon is that their ( Aipac) power is fading, as younger generations do not share the same Israel first mentality.

Treachery has always been in the war picture since humans walked the earth. That is why chieftains used to exchange their first-born to encourage keeping promises.
I suggest that Barron Trump be sent to Tehran to guarantee any deals Iran makes with the USA. He might actually turn out to be an excellent “goodwill ambassador.” He seems to have gained a huge following in the USA.

Can there be better and worse outcomes? Sure. But we’re moments away now. It’s too late to rationalize with Trump about his campaign promises. How solid Tulsi seemed or what the IAEA has filed. Or to appeal to Bibi to respect the goyim’s “international law”.

Well, maybe, maybe not. It is very probable that Israeli planes were shot down by Iran. Nothing is invulnerable, and Iran has very good AA missiles and electronic weapons. Remember who hi-jacked that US drone a few years ago. Additionally, if planes were to overfly Iranian airspace it’s probable that these were ‘stealth’ planes, as other Israeli planes are old, vulnerable cold-war models. Ergo, planes shot down by Iran were F-35’s.
But in any case, it is very clear that Israel is losing the missile battle. Statements from Israel confirm this – they are being forced to ration AA missiles, while best estimates recon that Iran still has thousands left. And if Trump does in fact wait for two weeks before doing anything, this will co-incide with Israel running out of completely. Trump the Saviour! Till it all turns sour.

You misunderstand. The first people Iran would be interested in getting tangible and immediate concessions out of is Israel. And Netanyahu would rather see them all nuked to ash, so there isn’t much question of what in particular has to be offered or how it would be guaranteed.
Iran is in prime position to spearhead a global “revolution” if the fight stays conventional. Which is why the fight is not going to stay conventional. I thought the Israelis will be first to launch the nukes, but it doesn’t matter who destroys Iran in the broadest sense. Macron just showed the EU would be fine with it thanks to his ludicrously aggressive demands on Iran, the Arabs will probably throw a party, VVP will be relieved that all the “Russians” in Israel are still alive, and the Zionists will insist that it had to be done on every news channel. China might demand concessions in Asia, and they might even get them.

In many ways an oil supply shock could be used as an opportunity stemming from a crisis by the Chinese state. Its exports of wind turbines, solar cells, intelligent grids, nuclear power stations, electric trains, electric trams, electric subways, electric personal vehicles, electric trucks, electric buses etc. would greatly benefit from an oil supply shock and perhaps the destruction of much of the oil infrastructure of the Middle East.
RB: The juxtaposition of crisis/opportunity is found many times within Chinese culture, one that can be well utilized by the efficient and effective Chinese Party-state.
Roger Boyd @ 96
========================
Isn’t there character of the Chinese language that more or less defines opportunity as arising from crisis? (Something like that)
==============
RB: It is the West, and most especially Europe, that would suffer heavily from an oil supply shock. Probably tripping he next Euro crisis. The vast majority of the Us citizenry would also suffer greatly, while a few oligarchs and corporations make out like bandits. Not a good look for a MAGA president.

Living on Cape Cod and witnessing the multi-level and -faceted disaster/scam of offshore wind “farms,” I was happy to vote for Trump, who promised to scupper most of this ecological craziness. And he has done quite a lot in this department.
I can’t help wondering, though, whether part of Trump’s unspoken energy “deal” mightn’t have been a promise (to ????) to get control of other countries’ “fossil fuel” assets: Gaza’s gas and oil; Iran’s oil; Syria’s oil; everyone’s oil . . .
(I shudder to think of the fuel being burned through in the course of this escapade. Whatever happened to Net Zero??? LOL)

Forward from: Marwa Osman/MidEaStream
SIGNS OF WAR: U.S. Gears Up for a Possible Strike on Iran
As the war between Iran and the Zionist Israeli-U.S. axis escalate, multiple military and intelligence indicators suggest the U.S. may be preparing for direct military action against Iran. Here’s what we know so far (find links below):
1. Military Buildup
▫️According to WSJ | Reuters: B-2 stealth bombers deployed to Guam & Diego Garcia, ideal platforms for bunker-busting Iranian nuclear sites.
▫️Acoording to AP News: Dual U.S. Carrier Strike Groups now operate in the Red Sea & Gulf of Oman.
2. Logistical Moves
▫️According to the WSJ: Over 40 U.S. aircraft withdrawn from Al Udeid (Qatar), likely repositioned forward.
▫️C-17 and B-52 movement indicates pre-positioning of air power and missile defense assets in the Gulf.
3. Strategic & Intelligence Shifts
According to Bloomberg: Increased satellite tracking & high-altitude recon flights over Iran.
▫️Reports of cyber readiness and command post activations.
4. Diplomatic Posturing
▫️Public threats by U.S. leaders (top of whom is Trump) toward Iran’s Leader of the Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, echoing 2020 rhetoric before Martyr Soleimani’s assassination.
▫️Embassy drawdowns & regional evacuations under review.
Conclusion:
The confluence of strategic bombers, naval assets, intelligence operations, and political signaling points toward the real possibility of a U.S. strike on Iran, or at the very least, a push to provoke it.
– Israeli occupation military spokesman:
-The Israeli military is currently attacking drone warehouses and a weapons depot in southwestern Iran, in the Bandar Abbas region. Bandar Abbas is the port overlooking the Strait of Hormuz.

But most importantly, he is Chabad as Satanyahoo and seemingly Putin. This is long time satanic project. Those who analyse all thru geopolitics may have the totally wrong hunch.

I offer the following as a reference to all barflies, Russian Constitution in English:

Chapter Two: Rights and Freedom of Man and Citizen:
Article 61
1. A citizen of the Russian Federation may not be deported from Russia or extradited to another State.
2. The Russian Federation shall guarantee to its citizens protection and patronage abroad.,/b>
Article 62
1. A citizen of the Russian Federation may have the citizenship of a foreign State (dual citizenship) according to the federal law or an international agreement of the Russian Federation.
2.
The possession of a foreign citizenship by a citizen of the Russian Federation shall not derogate his rights and freedoms and shall not free him from the obligations stipulated by the Russian citizenship, unless otherwise provided for by federal law or an international agreement of the Russian Federation. [My Emphasis]

The vast majority will not have read the Preamble to the Russian Constitution:
“We, the multinational people of the Russian Federation, united by a common fate on our land, establishing human rights and freedoms, civic peace and accord, preserving the historically established state unity, proceeding from the universally recognized principles of equality and self-determination of peoples, revering the memory of ancestors who have conveyed to us the love for the Fatherland, belief in the good and justice, reviving the sovereign statehood of Russia and asserting the firmness of its democratic basic, striving to ensure the well-being and prosperity of Russia, proceeding from the responsibility for our Fatherland before the present and future generations, recognizing ourselves as part of the world community, adopt the CONSTITUTION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION.”

🇸🇦🇺🇸 What’s this Saab 2000 AEW&C surveillance aircraft doing headed northwest from Riyadh?
This is a military-grade Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) plane—designed to scan airspace, track aircraft, and coordinate battle networks in real time. It’s flying at 26,000 ft, slowly sweeping toward Iraq or eastern Syria, a strategic path near the Iranian frontier.
This is not civilian traffic. It’s part of a growing web of aerial coordination providing radar coverage ahead of possible strikes. These aircraft manage airspace for fighters, bombers, and refuelers.
In short: Eyes are in the sky and they’re watching the border.
Note: NATO and Saudi both own and operate these aircraft. This is one likely one belongs to Saudi Arabia.

Which is a good demonstration of despite how Israel is protected with the most advanced air defense systems the US empire has to offer, Iranian missiles (and even drones) easily get through. Many US assets are in much closer proximity and Diego Garcia, of course, is also within reach of Iranian missiles.
From the looks of it, the Zionazi’s will get their way and drag the US+vassals fully in this war. I doubt there will be overt Russian and Chinese support but I’m sure they won’t let this once in a lifetime chance slip through their fingers if only because if the US would get its way, they’d be next.

Israel is bombing oil storage in Iran, confirming that its aim has nothing to do with Iran’s nuclear or missile programs. It means Iran can feel free to target anything related to Israel’s energy storage and sources.
