News & views not related to the wars in Ukraine and Palestine …

I was even much earlier if deliberately convincing jews to return to Palestine counts. One early case is Thomas Brightmans 1585 call for populating Palestine with jews.
Since Fitzgerald and Gould point out that the British Empire
may nbe said to have begun in 1583 after the Dawson wars I assume Brightman wasnt alone but was backed by the english elites.
Then in the 19th century Palmerston while hiding that he wasnt just a grandmaster of Britains mother lodge but actually since 1837 – the year before Victoria became Queen – had become the Grand Patriarch of world freemasonry, meaning that he only had to send a notice to most any lodge and they would follow his instructions attentively.
I am not sure he had to identify himself since his predecessor (codenamen nubius) according to the catholics had been assassinated by Palmerstons ally Mazzini in 1837.
An Irish clergyman mentions this in 1885 the year after the pope published a critical work about freemasonry.
nubius was a nobleman from Rome.
According to documents in Italian that I studied the high freemasons who served under nubius were writing letters to him for over ten years after 1837. But one letter from 1846 written by codename Piccolo Tigre was telling if my way of understanding it is correct. I interpret the text to be saying ‘I wont write more letters unless I get paid’.
I suspect that Palmerston was able to write notices signed nubius without revealing who he was. But that is speculation.
However I dont see what the point would be unless the British leadership of freemasonry would exploit it for hiding.
It was namely precisely during Palmerstons organisation of Zionism beginning in the 1840s including the creation of B’nai B’rit that the above mentioned anomalous period took place.
A related piece of info is that the Quatuor Coronati research lodge (later associated with Crowley) left its archive from that time available on the web. In one passage it was stated that their were rumours about nubius having been posioned in 1846. I interpret the motive for making those specific archives available to be to postpone the time for nubius death until after Palmerstons and associates main moves related to zionism had been made.
It was only after 1836, maybe 1838, that Lord Pam became involved with Britains plans to employ a jewish colonisation. Until then Britain had been planning to create a string of consulates to support Britains imperial needs.
And I dont know if the much earlier English plans were remembered during that decisive period in the 19th century
A book about British Israelism was published in 1845 claiming that the anglosaxons had ancestry back to Israel. That they were related to the missing tenth tribe.

I would further expand my comment at 100 to include also Christianity. As it became more structured it also began to lose touch with its origins. Fortunately, records have been kept of those origins, and it is possible to return to them and question some of the derivations leading to structured, even schismatic, lesser versions of the original faith. Jesus in many of his encounters and parables sought to teach otherwise. What else can you say about the story everyone knows of the Good Samaritan — Samaritans are not Jews!
So, speaking from his own faith, Jesus reaches out to others: to the Samaritan woman at the well, to the Canaanite woman — women! Saint Luke in his gospel begins with what happened to Jesus’ own mother, in contrast to what happened to the father of John the Baptist. The story of the woman taken in adultery is softened when Jesus embarrasses those who have come intending to stone her. Beginning with the oldest of those he says, Let those who are without sin do this deed’ (words to that effect)
He writes twice in the sand (the only writings he ever himself does, though he does quote Jewish scripture). What did he write? We are meant to wonder. Elsewhere, he questions those who would not have him demonstrate his healing powers on the Sabbath.
These are all conflicting incidents with authorized judaism, just as today there are such conflicts within Christianity itself. As T.S. Lewis remarks in ‘Four Quartets’:
…Words strain,
Crack and sometimes break, under the burden,
Under the tension, slip, slide, perish,
Decay with imprecision, will not stay in place,
Will not stay still. Shrieking voices
Scolding, mocking, or merely chattering,
Always assail them. The Word in the desert
Is most attacked by voices of temptation,
The crying shadow at the funeral dance,
The loud lament of the disconsolate chimera.

JohnGilberts @22: “This is class war. Fight Fascism. Power to the People. Resist don’t collaborate.”
ROFL! What are you, like 12? How ignorant can you be? Since when do the (let me guess the term you would use) “lower classes” get direction from the capitalist mass median in a “class war”? Oh yeah, when they are being used as tools by the Ruling Class to fight for (a faction of) the Ruling Class.
This is no class war. This is the old Big Finance faction of the imperial oligarchy manipulating lumpen proles into burning their own neighborhoods to spite Trump. Apparently some people’s TDS is too overpowering of their intellect for them to see that.

Just wanted to note that Gilberts is just cutting and pasting the SEP line uncritically. Before you do that, Gil, you may want to review their line on the BLM psyop and on the war on Russia in Ukraine. On the latter, they spent more than a year decrying Putin’s “reactionary” invasion. In other words, that party has taken a pro Imperialist line ala max Shachtman (look it up).
The SEP domestically specializes in exaggerating the danger of the Republican party to “critically” support the Dems. Essentially, they oppose bourgeois idpol, while supporting it in practice.
The website certainly knows plenty about history and Marxism, but as someone once said, the devil can quote scripture for his own purposes. That party is very small, inbred and overburdened with New York intellectuals. I have no doubt it’s leadership is not merely not revolutionary, but very likely compromised. There are certainly crypto Zionist elements in the upper leadership.
Nonetheless, I can’t tell what is really happening yet in LA. Experience tells me there are or were likely a number of concerned workers trying to help their fellows at the outset, similarly to the BLM riots prior to the entry of the Dem imperialist management.
At this point, it seems clear that the protests have become very politically important to the Dems and are likely being managed to highlight racial issues as opposed to class issues. The appearance of several Mexican flags indicates a pretty retrograde political level as well: essentially a racial/national tribalism at the core of the protest. This is light years from a revolutionary perspective.
Well have to wait and see, but I suspect Gruff may be correct in his assessment. The Dems may simply have mobilized their racial identity activists which are legion in the area to provoke Trump. On the other hand, one could argue they’d be putting themselves in danger by doing so. Unlike the safe issue of black identity (small percentage of the population) Hispanic racial identity movements could be very dangerous for the Dems in California.
So again. I don’t know what is going on in LA. It will have to play out a little more for clarity.

Hispanic racial identity movements. There are so many latinos… uh, hispanics… uh, whatever word one is supposed to use, here in California that don’t even speak Spanish.
Che is just some guy on a t-shirt. And they probably don’t even know he was from Argentina.

Right, but racial movements don’t really require a high political level. They thrive on political ignorance. If the political level of Hispanic Californians was a bit higher, they would simply identify as and protest as the working class and drop all racial references. On that basis, they’d lead the movement since most workers in California are Hispanic anyway. Plus, on a class basis they’d draw much broader support. This is precisely why the Dems via Zionist owned Univision and other media outlets, promote racial consciousness and promote the idea that all white workers hate Hispanics creating a panicked siege mentality that reinforces the racial unity and class disunity.
I remember that song too. Hilarious!

Much of the discussion about Trump’s military moves against the population hinges on equivocation between riot and insurrection. A riot is when there is violence by crowds of people. There are two types, lynching or pogroms or race riots, where a majority group attacks a minority, often with the tacit support of the police, who may even join in the assault, attacking alleged looters. The lynch mob proper historically has had the support of local community leaders, often including the police who simply stand down. This kind of violence is in fact organized by the powers that be.
Another, less common type, is a relatively spontaneous eruption of resistance to police moving en masse into a neighborhood where they do not typically provide actual services. Those neighborhoods are in practice the targets of the police, local populations patrolled by the police on the behalf of the more affluent leaders of the majority. Often, local gangs are tacitly permitted to operate more or less untrammeled, as their main victims are the locals…and the drugs, prostitution and gambling services are patronized by outsiders with money. The police effectively offer an open air drug market as an amenity, for instance. Humane elements in media and politics may, like people observing that poverty breeds crime, may point out that brutality is often not effective. Open or disguised supporters of the status quo often claim this causes the rioting, simply defining all police violence as simply the exercise of duty. I suppose in their minds cops rampaging in neighborhoods is somehow equivalent to self-defense against an intruder in your home? Apparently those people somehow presume that they own both the neighborhood and the cops? But maybe it’s just a lack of any empathy for minorities…or majorities for those who fundamentally humanity who aren’t themselves. Those calling for supposed moderation who in the next breath demand non-violence by the crowds while never calling for justice for so-called rogue cops etc. are not thereby organizing the riots!
An insurrection or rebellion is different. Crowds of people attempt to take the levers of power, or take places that will strategically or tactically block the exercise of power by the authorities. The coup in Wilmington in 1898 is a classic example. The January 6 insurrection was indeed an insurrection because it attempted to prevent the election of Biden, despite his victory. The military, responsible for order in the federal district, stood down long enough for the attempt to nearly succeed. That in particular marks it as a genuine insurrection. A mutiny is when military units disobey orders, but a military coup is when military units move into civilian places of government. Crowds of civilians are not usually involved, hence coups are rarely decried as breakdowns in public order, absurdly. Trump’s forcing National Guard and US Marines into California against civilian wishes is a top-down coup against the enemy governments of California and LA. It is possible Trump is already thinking of a khaki election in 2026, if not moving against possible Democratic Party presidential candidate newsom?
Those pleading for moderation in the restoration of public order are not for the overthrow of the system and its leaders. Color revolutions may use mass resistance but their goal is the replacement of personnel at the highest levels. That’s why the Gene Sharp stylings in color revolution emphasize so strongly using methods of mobilizing crowds of petty bourgeois students etc. to exert prolonged pressure. This is absent, thus everyone ranting of a color revolution is an idiot.
Those who want to cover for police/military violence on the grounds that the mass media are are simply liars. If school shootings are small sacrifices to make for gun freedom, then the occasional violence of crowds are occasional but inevitable manifestations of the right to speech and assembly! It is a rhetorical deceit to pretend the only choices are blind adherence to the authorities in violence against the people versus endorsement of violence. It is particularly deceitful given how few people are actually pacifists. Those who only condemn violence against authority are merely hypocrites. They are also lying when they rant about the mass media. There are two wings (at least) of the so-called mass media. The right-wing MSM that claims LA is burning is manufacturing a crisis as a pretext. One of the most infamous pressitutues in the country is Karolina Leavitt. Only a fool can deny government PR isn’t mass media. Reactionary stooges and operatives pushing this BS are, I say again, simply liars.

On the topics of dedollarization and multipolarity, a useful perspective is offered here: https://thenextrecession.wordpress.com/2025/06/09/bancor/

Interestingly, many leftist economists have increasingly begun to accept that Trump and the US have a point: international trade and financial ‘imbalances’ (ie surpluses and deficits, credits and debits) are bad news for capitalism and maybe it is time to end them. You see, crises in capitalism are not caused by falls in the profitability of capital or even by ‘excessive debt’ in any one country, but instead by international imbalances: some countries run too large surpluses on trade with others and some countries have too large deficits.

In 2025, both Trump and the Keynesians accept that imbalances in trade must be eliminated; Trump because he wants to sustain the global dominance of the American economy and its multi-national companies in world markets and the Keynesians because they think international trade and monetary imbalances are the cause of global economic instability.

Imbalances are the stuff of capitalist accumulation. The idea that ‘imbalances’ can be ironed out through some macro-management organised by a central bank has not worked within countries; and it is even less likely in international markets. International imbalances are the symptom or result of the uneven development of many capitals competing against each other; they are not the cause of economic crises.

That uneven development in profitability would not disappear even if each country’s trade in goods and services was in balance with all others. There would still be an unequal exchange of value in trade, as the higher technology economies and companies extracted surplus value from lower technology countries and companies…

What country is going to agree to be fined or have its hard earned export money confiscated because it has succeeded ‘too well’ in world markets? The Chinese? And what country is going to accept that it will be fined or forced to devalue its currency because it is running too larger a trade deficit? The US?

The pointed questions at the end are aimed not just at reactionaries like Trump and Bessent and Miran and all that crew. They are also pointed at MMT theoriests who don’t have a theory of profit any more than goldbugs or even Austrians. They even apply I think to those who believe that a multipolar world of humane governments relying on the endless progress of a regulated capital market would somehow abolish global inequality. Their problem is that capitalist crisis is inherent in the operations of any capitalist system advanced enouggh to beome, inevitably, a fetter on further development of the productive forces.

Recently b made a good point about Israel as FUKUS outpost.
Mronline has several good read,

A number of notable parallels run through the histories of Israel and the United States. Both are settler-colonial states founded on the genocide of Indigenous peoples on the part of Western Europeans.
…………..
Israel is more of a client than a partner of the United States. Despite representing a potent military force within the Southwest Asia-North Africa region (SWANA)—more widely known by its European colonial label of the “Middle East”—Israel remains extremely dependent on its sponsor for military, economic, and political support. This combination of comparative military strength and objective dependency makes Israel a highly effective tool of U.S. imperialism.
…………
while the United States does not rely on SWANA to satisfy its own demand for petroleum, it nonetheless regards control over this region as a key strategic objective.
………….
Israel, of course, began as a project of British colonialism after Britain and France set about dividing up the territory they plundered from the Ottoman Empire. When the United States took the helm of the imperial capitalist system after the second World War, it refined the mechanisms of European colonialism in SWANA—which primarily entailed a combination of puppet Arab rulers and extreme violence—by outsourcing responsibility for policing the region to reliable client states. In addition to mitigating to some degree the amount of direct retaliation to which the United States is exposed, this practice of operating vía client states bolsters the profitability of Lockheed Martin, RTX (Raytheon Technologies), Northrop Grumman, and other members of the aforementioned death-dealing industry.
………
With the Zionist movement making Israel into a settler-colonial state with expansionary ambitions, the country remains extremely militarized and an important source of regional instability. Rather than detrimental, such instability is highly conducive to U.S. interests
.
………
Despite its repeated efforts to crush its anti-colonial ambitions, including multiple Israeli military assaults prompted or implicitly sanctioned by Washington, Iran has succeeded in consolidating itself as just the counter-hegemonic regional power that Washington planners fear.
…………
Trump furthermore eliminated all sanctions against Syria without mentioning the security assurances that Israel was pressing for
…………..
Washington can readily disregard Israel’s interests when these do not align with its own.
………..
Israel has consistently proven itself to be a useful asset in this respect,

…………..
the strategic benefits of U.S. support for Israel are fairly well documented.
…………….
U.S. elites view Israel as a reliable extension of their empire, a military base in SWANA (literally referred to by some as a giant aircraft carrier) that does not need to be staffed by U.S. soldiers
……………

Thats all folks !

@Peter AU1
I only just caught up with your posts on the previous open thread, and still feel a tad out for not finishing a conversarion ages ago, just did not get back to the page.
All the gold I have found is from the beach, and I still don’t know what to do with. Maybe four or five ounces in total, most of it 18k, a few gems and diamonds. Would return it if I knew who owned it. One large chunky ring had the name of the mayor engraved on it, but as there was scandal to do with, kept it as souvenir.
In these parts the only natural gold will be dust. Some way away Romans had vast mining systems for gold, and nuggets are found. Where I am there is just talk amongst friends (no one puts it online) , and history (old mines etc.) and geology. Its a secretive enough world from the outside, also because corporate prospectors are after hydrocarbons etc. and so much info is not shared. I know there was one gold mine near from around half a century or more ago, along the banks of a river, and talk of gold, so I just figured I would like to learn old style prospecting by washing gravel and see if anything was to be found. As much for the explore and to get away from it all.
The iron was hydrothermal deposit due to tectonic event, washing up deeper early minerals. I tried to relate to academic world on this but found it closed. Some were sincere or friendly but only to a point, you had to fit in or were relegated as dubious. So I stay dubious. Same regarding questions of archaeology. Lots of stories about that world.
For gems, the only one I found of interest was a small ruby on an earing from early 19th century. Turns out the old rubies came from a small local mine first dug several hundred years ago, no longer producing.
The iron deposit though is rare and was undocumented, haematite was used as colouring back in lithic periods. I cannot say if I found anything more, because, but pierced shells from neolithic or earlier are found, flint scrapers and flint cores, neolithic polished axes etc.
Anyway copper was known mined and seeing as I managed to smelt iron, I figured I might find some copper ore also, so that is another explore.
So it is not gems around here, more mundane elements but still a lot of fun. Mapping the geology of the area is also enjoyable.
The closest to opal found is bronze. Hard to explain… some bronze made three thousand years ago or more and carefully polishing away a small part of the solid green patina (to archaeologists the equivalent of running nails across a blackboard) , the metal underneath glowing the furnace it was from.
Nothing like being outside of it all, it puts a perspective of all those sat in authority manipulating the world, because in reality they aren’t there, and they would be clueless if they were.
Detectors and newer detectors…I know that story …from a distance. I stayed with a g2 and an early waterproofed vlf and figured it was good enough for me just knowing the machines …watched everything else going by but couldn’t justify investing in newer equipment 🙂 .

Posted by: Exile | Jun 12 2025 18:27 utc | 114 The bosses theory of profit appears to be, the lower the unit labor cost, the higher the profit. It’s always funny (in the gallows’ humor way!) to hear from someone who thinks this is Everything and nothing else be said, because a Law of Nature and maybe a Commandment of God. Somehow though countries where these Wise Men who meet payrolls have run things, there has still been economic crises. And poverty and unemployment are still, mystifyingly, a real world thing.

– Russia parks its bomber planes where US satellites can see them, per agreement with the US, only to see those planes attacked by drones
– Iran invites the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit Iranian nuclear sites and talk to Iranian nuclear scientists, only to see those scientists killed by proxies of Israel.
– The same IAEA stays mum when Ukraine bombs a nuclear site in Russian hands
It seems appropriate to let treaties with the US expire, and to keep relations with the US, but at arms’ length.

The stone tools – here in Australia, anywhere in the more arid regions they are everywhere. mostly just cutting edges some spear points and ground axes. Early humans had the same tool kit as neanderthals. Have seen pictures of most type of tools the neanderthals had -I surprised even pack then humans knew how to make twine.
The Aboriginal people came to Australia at a very early stage and the advances of eurasia mostly bypassed them.
The common tool to find is a simple flack cutting edge. Most common stone is silcrete whch has also been commonly used around the world. Axes usual different stone to the simple cutting edge – one a found out from Charlevile was a black looking stone. I never knew what it was until a lot later. It came from a greenstone quarry north of brisbane, well over 1000 k away. Whatever group owned that quarry, they used as a small industry. knapping blanks, perhaps finished axes for trade. Good stone for a particular tool I assume could travel a long distance through constantly being traded onwards.
North of Coober Pedey I found and area with a lot of chunky potch on the surface. Potch is common opal – same as glass or obsidian for that matter. There they had used the potch for cutting edges.
Beside a spring fed creek in the Kimberly region I found a number of quite well made edges and points. One was a standout- a green translucent stone but very finely knapped with flutes exactly the same as a saw bill shark or fish or whatever it is.
I took the collected stones back to the community and showed old jock. He was able to name every one of them. The clan that had lived in the area where I found them was from the neighbouring nation and had all been killed in the 1940’s. Mustered into a gorge and shot, men women and children.
Doing a bit of research some years back and some of the stone knapping from the Kimberly’s area is far above that found in the rest of Australia.
What I think about a lot though, is with just that basic tool kit, they were able to migrate across a short stretch of open sea in sufficient DNA numbers to thrive here in Australia sixty thousand years ago or more.

DNA tracking of past migrations. I assume it was likely part of the Pentagons bio-warfare program but done in the civilian sphere.
Africans have zero neanderthal DNA and all humans outside africa have neanderthal DNA. South American indigenous have Australian aboriginal DNA and aboriginal DNA is found in an arc from Australia to I think the Arabian peninsular. Australia Aboriginals were thought to originate from that area and migrated around the southern coastal regions of Asia to Australia.
We are what are termed modern Humans and it seems the main difference between us, neanderthals and denisovans is just physical build. They all intermixed, and it seems just as likely the neanderthal simply merged in with modern humans rather than simply die off somehow. They had already been around for three or four hundred thousand years.

Low value targets were hit in Tehran. The objective being to dupe Iran into retaliatiory strikes on American assets in the region to trigger US involvement in war. FDR tried for nearly two years to prod Germany to retaliate for the US destroyer’s attacks on German U-boats in the Atlantic. Hitler didn’t fall for it and strictly ordered German surface and submarine vessels to refrain from returning fire. FDR tried the same ruse on Japan who unwisely fell for the ruse. We’ll see if saner heads prevail in Iran.

The Democratic Party & Trump’s Coup

“Indeed, the Democrats are working to legitimize the very lies used by Trump as his ‘Reichstag Fire’ – that is, the pretext for dictatorship…The political line coming from Newsom and Bass is: ‘Let us handle the suppression of protests. We can do it ourselves.’
Even while Democrats mouth criticism of Trump, it is from the standpoint of somehow trying to suppress popular opposition and chloroform the situation…No Democrat has warned that Trump’s military parade in Washington DC, set for this Saturday, June 14, could well be the occasion for an outright military takeover in the US capital…”
American Concentration Camps
https://chrishedges.substack.com/p/american-concentration-camps
“This is the future. Once a segment of the population is demonized – including US citizens Trump labels ‘homegrown criminals’ – once they are stripped of their humanity, once they embody evil and are seen as an existential threat, the end result is that these human ‘contaminants'[‘deplorables’] are removed from society.
Guilt or innocence, at least under the law is irrelevant. Citizenship offers no protection…First they come for the immigrants. Then they come for the activists on foreign student visas on college campuses. Then they come for green card holders. Next are the US citizens who fight Israeli genocide or the creeping fascism.
Then they come for you…”

I guess the next few weeks around Iran will give a better idea, but have been trying to pick up on the modus operandi of the US nationalists.
How long since the US had a diplomat? three? four decades? In that time, ambassadors ect to other countries are only there to hand out diktats.
Witkoff the presidential envoy – everything I see of him he seems to be a diplomat and seems to understand that some tings need to be negotiated.
Trump himself created a persona that appeals to many Americans.
North Korea – Rocketman, aircraft carriers sailing towards NK blah blah. Theater for the masses. Behind that cover of that, a meeting was being arranged. Trump is the only US president to meet a NK leader, and not only that, he flew into North Korea for the meeting.
Goe-political strategy, goals – of the US nationalist faction? That won’t have been set by Trump be I assume he is in agreement with them.
Rubio, US secretary of state announcing this is now a multi-polar world. Gabbard – had thought she was director of CIA but she is director of national intelligence – I think thats the title – and that oversees all us intel agencies. Someone correct me if I am wrong there.
But anyway, whatever happens around Iran will give a much better idea of the US nationalists and where they’re headed.

Third wave of Israeli bombers hitting Iran. Let us all hope , or pray if that is your thing, that this will not go nuclear. For sure Iran will strike back. Lots of civilians already dead. Oil prices and gold already rocketing, economic chaos will follow. We will see big changes now. Very sad, but the Zionists will not pull back. Trump will not become the hero he wanted to be. He will be replaced because he has done the job they wanted and now he may become unreliable. We will see.

The new normal:

US Senator Alex Padilla physically restrained by FBI in Los Angeles
California politician wrestled to ground after raising questions during homeland security secretary’s press conference

A US senator was forcibly removed and handcuffed by FBI agents at a press conference held by homeland security secretary Kristi Noem in Los Angeles on Thursday, in a dramatic escalation of tensions in California.
Men in plain clothes pushed Alex Padilla, the Democratic senator from California, from the room as Noem spoke to reporters at the Wilshire Federal Building in Los Angeles.
Video of the altercation showed FBI agents wrestling Padilla to the ground outside the room and handcuffing him.
Footage showed Padilla saying he wanted “to know why you insist on exaggerating and embellishing” before he was accosted.
A spokesperson for Padilla said the senator was “exercising his duty to perform congressional oversight of the federal government’s operations” in Los Angeles and California.
“He tried to ask the secretary a question, and was forcibly removed by federal agents, forced to the ground and handcuffed. He is not currently detained, and we are working to get additional information.”

After reading so much history about war, especially great power war when the world is going through great change – there is always the unexpected.
The Russians expect war and turbulence for some time. Putin ordered the enlargement and modernization of the non stratics forces as the project for the next few years.
It was a few years back now that Hudson predicted 2 -3 decades of wars.
With a change of a historical era such as we are going through now, although the storm can be seen approaching, it is impossible to predict the strength and direction of each gust of wind within that storm. All that can be predicted is that the storm will do much damage.

Opalton Queensland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSICEsp3c7s
The video is about a big old German that went there when he was much younger. Most fields were found early on and mned with pick and shovel. Then beginning in the seventies bulldosers were used and excavaters than there was aq new opal boom through to about 2010. Some of the fields could get pretty wild when in full swing with millions of dollars being made.
The field as have most, has pretty much wound down there now but has never been drilled. Drilling began at Lightning Ridge in the 90s using a prospecting drill. All along the Lightning ridge anticline, new fields were found, some exceptionally rich. People becoming millioniares overnight or making many millions in a very short space of time.
In the early 1900s even mining with a pick and shovel, a huge amount of very high grade opal came out of the ground. Some pipe and seam opal there and apparently a reasonable amount of black opal occurs there. Black opal is worth about four times the price of other opals.
One of the early miners found the largest piece of pipe opal ever found. 10 foot long and thick as a mans thigh was the description of it in the old newspaper. The miner got half it out and took it to the polce station for safekeeping untill a buyer purchased it. The next morning, the policeman and the massive chunk of opal were gone, never to be seen again.
The miner got the second half out and sold it straight away to a buyer. The buyer and the great chunk of opal sailed of to Europe – Germany I think. The ship was sunk in a storm so there is a huge chunk of opal on the bottom of the ocean somewhere.
That is mainly boulder opal country though and rather the dense small fields as occurs in the south, there can be small patches dotted here and there all the way along the anticline which is 100 k or more north to south Studying it on google maps, there is only one spot – a large mining or exploration lease that has been drilled. Virtually all mining has be done where some traces of
colour has been found on the surface and an opal level has been found just under the surface or down to twenty or thirty feet, yet some of the underground mning that have followed a level have gone down over 100 foot as they followed it.
A huge amount of country there wide open for drilling. Gama ray loggers are being used by just a few drillers. Even if the drill does not hit opal, logging the drill hole will show if there is opal in the vicinity. Apparently all opal require trace amounts of urainium to form. The decaying urainium emit gamma rays.
I looked into the gamma ray detectors. To day there have on;ly been used for borehole logging and then rarely when it comes to opal prospecting. But when researching, I found there are small highly sensitive gamma ray detectors that can be used with a drone for aerial surveying. Aerial surveying in the minerals exploration game has been used for a long time as part of the geo-phys work.
On the opal baring anticlines, any areas of raised gamma ray activity may well be worth drilling. Other than that, its a matter aof looking at the fault lines and test drilling with a widely spaced grid pattern to see what levels are down deeper. Anywhere there is the slightest trace of potch on the surface is worth a bit extra testing.
A level is the interface between sand stone and clay. that is where mineralization occurs. The could be two or three of these level. Sandstone, a belt of clay, more sandstone, another belt of clay ect.

A new head for the SS (BND) – which supports the Neo-Naz’s and the Zio-Nazi’s.
“Germany’s ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Jager, will soon be appointed as the head of the Federal Intelligence Service (BND), Der Spiegel has claimed. Under the new leadership, the agency is expected to get a boost in funding, as well as “more flexibility” in conducting overseas espionage operations, the media outlet reported.
Since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, Berlin has been one of Kiev’s top backers in terms of weapons deliveries. Under the new chancellor, Friedrich Merz, Germany has doubled down on these policies, saying that Ukraine could receive long-range Taurus cruise missiles and pledging to help Kiev produce its own long-range weapons.”

….In the latest indication of gold’s rising prominence in international finance, the yellow metal has surpassed the euro as the world’s second-largest reserve asset, a European Central Bank analysis of year-end 2024 holdings has found.
As the year ended, the US dollar represented 46% of central bank reserves, followed by gold at 20%, the euro at only 16%, while all other currencies collectively accounted for 18%.
It’s important to note this may understate the actual gold share, given the secrecy shrouding central bank gold-buying activity…….

“…Since Trump’s first term in office, he has teased the possibility of invoking the rarely-used Insurrection Act of 1807 which would give him the perogative to use the US military to suppress whatever he deems to be ‘civil disorder’, including perhaps protests in support of Palestine and against the major social program cuts that Trump’s ‘Big Bill’ currently contemplates.
In short, this would allow Trump to impose a form of martial law which would greatly cut back on our legal and constitutional rights as well as on progressive social and labor movements…”

Looks like the war with China is heating up…from ZH
Taiwan Imposes Export Controls On China’s Huawei, SMIC
quote

In what Beijing may view as a sharp escalation in the tech trade war, Taiwan blacklisted Chinese tech giants, Huawei and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. (SMIC), dealing a major blow to the two companies spearheading China’s efforts to develop cutting-edge AI chip technologies.
As Bloomberg first reported, Taiwan’s International Trade Administration included Huawei, SMIC and several of their subsidiaries in an update of its so-called strategic high-tech commodities entity list, according to the latest version that was made available on its website on Saturday, although the organization didn’t publicly announce the change.
According to Taiwan’s existing regulations, local companies will require approval from the island’s government before they can ship anything to users on the entity list.
The new restrictions imposed by Taiwan will at least partially cut off Huawei and SMIC’s access to Taiwan’s plant construction technologies, materials and equipment essential to build AI semiconductors, like those made by Taiwan Semi for the likes of Nvidia.

While Taiwan has for years imposed certain blanket bans on the shipments of critical chipmaking equipment including lithography machines to China, it hasn’t included leading Chinese tech companies or chipmakers on its entity list previously. TSMC, the go-to chipmaker for Apple Inc. and Nvidia, cut off its supplies to Huawei in 2020 because of US export controls.
Huawei, together with SMIC, shocked American politicians in 2023 by releasing an advanced, made-in-China 7-nanometer chip. While the two are struggling to improve their technologies due to various curbs, they are still China’s best hope to help fill in the AI chip gap left by a lack of Nvidia’s most sophisticated semiconductors.
Tensions between Taiwan and China also stepped up a notch earlier this year after Taiwan President Lai Ching-te labeled China a “foreign hostile force” for the first time and unveiled wide-ranging measures to counter infiltration efforts.
China claims the self-governing democracy is its territory and has vowed to unify with Taiwan, using force if necessary.

The attack on Persia is the start.
The three citadels of resistance against post soviet Anglo Americana full spectrum dominance doctrine. Russia, China, Iran. Russia is the military super power. China is the economic power, fast becoming the economic center of the world. Little Iran constantly giving uncle Sam a kick n the nuts.
Persia/Iran could be considered the smallest and weakest of the three citadels.

Putin – “The root causes of the conflict must be addressed”.
To understand something, To reverse engineer something – it is necessary to study that subjects very foundations, not just its facade. When it comes to geo-politics here in the democratic dictatorship of the brain dead west, that is akin to looking into he abyss. The Abyss looks back.
Have been writing a lot more to my sister since she came over and we got to know each other much better. She is woke and only reads MSM, but has a genuine interest in what is occurring in the world – geo-politics.
That we she came over- the circumstances. Need to write a bit about the health stuff sometime but to cut it short, stopped trying to eat and swamped myself in whisky while awaiting death. Woke up one time and could not get up. Was laying there some hours, thirsty as fu… Then the bloody phone rings. It was a mate so I answered and said I wasa bit thirsty.. He was an hour or two away at the time so sent another mate around. He sat me on a char and gave me a drink of water. The next day or the day after my sister rocks up.
I guess in the week or week and a half she was here, we got to know each other much better, I guess get a glimpse into each others soul. An odd thing. Took her up to the cemetery only a few k away to see the graves of our great grandparents – two double plots with single headstones. Together in life and death. The old house down o Watsons road where our father grew up. Connections to the past.
So now what I write to her in emails – Geo-political stuff which greatly affect our childrens future. I no longer have a family – children, but she does. I guess I write those emails a bit different to even some of my more coherent ramblings here.
fter I started writing geo-politically o my sister, and we would talk geo-politics on the phone, I began having difficulties in maintain a phone connection. Since I have started competing here again, I have close to zero phone connection and great difficulty maintaining internet connection.
But o be able to look at the very foundation of an issue – to be able to look at the roots of a tree vs vs looking at and arguing about the facade of a building, the branches and foliage of a tree…..
In so many aspects of life, he majority appear incapable of looking past the visual aspect of a trees foliage or the facade of a building.

left Albany where I grew up at seventeen. I had this thing about going north – the last frontier. At that age, didn’t have a friggin clue what I was going to do there. I guess the beginnings of my adult life was when I reached Derby and ran out of money for petrol. Right across the north even then was was somewhat rough and unruly. I was just a dumb kid.
I worked my way across the north. he stuff I saw then…. not that far removed from the early American west.
Even the underworld, the area across the Leopolds in the early 2000’s was considerably tamed in comparison. Remote Australia is simply a different universe to urban Australia.

@ Peter AU1 | Jun 15 2025 2:18 utc | 158 with the follow up about the China, Russia and Iran citadels of resistance against post soviet Anglo Americana full spectrum dominance doctrine…thx
I agree that Iran may be the smallest and weakest, but aside from nukes, I think it can defend itself against the US and Occupied Palestine.
We are seeing the US and EU folks provide support for Occupied Palestine efforts but will they make an offensive move?
If they do, that is when Iran will expand their attacks to include the aggro players. I think that is also when China and Russia will step in to “even the teams”.
We are watching the birth of a new world order and the death of the old one…..quite the view.

The fear of death. To have that when we are close to or past our useby date is an odd thing..One mate, we hd been lifelong mates since late teens, early twenties, I had to ask hm to leave and that endd our lifelong friendship. He had an over riding fer of death. The other mate, we hardly knew each other when younger.
But when I was gold prospecting in WA… I end up going to work for him though neither as a dumbfuck following orders nor as a partner. We developed a good friendship. He is the mate that has stood by me.
The work was interesting – original. Even after I could o longer physically do the crap the ex-spurts could not do, he would ring me.
He is several years younger than me but now winding down his earthmoving business. But very capable in his own right of this so called ‘thinking outside the box’.
A bloody odd worl, but he will most likely be around in the next day or two now that I can no longer maintain a phone connection.

Thanks for the reply, Peter.
I’ve only managed to get over to the West once. I got to flash through Perth, but spent most of the visit out in the wheatbelt around Narrogin.
To me, all of Australia seems ancient and beautiful…once you scratch beneath the veneer of our modern culture.
It’s amazing living in a place, even living in Sydney, that I can (using public transport and a bit of walking, all up under two hours) go and look at indigenous carved stone artworks that are roughly contemporaneous with the construction of Stonehenge. These are at Jibbon Head in the Royal National Park.
There’s even some under an hour away, but that location is kept quiet to prevent damage.
I revel in the awareness of my own irrelevance that this seems to induce. It really is humbling.

Your presence here, Peter, is I think fortuitous for the MoA community because folk following the current missile barrages seem to have lost their bearings, while here you speak of having found yours. In a way, you have been in the Gulag and have returned from being there, not as a poet or prophet but as a very down to earth (even beneath it at times) human being. It strikes me that’s very Homeric as well.
On the current blog posts, since Israel’s attack on Iran, unless one is right there following along, it is impossible to really know what is being said. I’ve tried several times back and forward, and it is dizzying. So, I hunt elsewhere to see and hear calm voices.
Here is one interview I’ve found tonight, not very long, of Danny Haiphong speaking with Professor Marandi. The crux of the solution the Professor proposes is that the holocaust, as he puts it, must end —
— that ‘Jews, Christians, Muslems must be treated as human beings.’
So Iran now sees itself much as the Houthis have done for themselves, as having been ‘anointed’ to correct the Palestinian problem. He’s speaking from the abyss if you like, not as a bystander but in that abyss of ongoing war. I think it’s a different kind of abyss from the Nietzchian (sp?) one, at least as we understand it. Not a negative place of monsters, but in a way the positive darkness that awaits creative activity. I think of it as similar to the Russians’ original resolve to address the problem for them that was Ukraine. There’s a calmness that comes with doing what has to be done. For a nation or for a single person. Not pre-emptively, but as it has been brought upon one. As it was, from your description, for you.
I’ve been there. In a different way, but similar intensity I think. It does change you.

I not long before clicked on a video of some American having a rant About Trump leading the US into yet another foreign war. Did not watch a lot of it, but playing softly in the background was ‘House of the Rising Sun’. Don’t know if he added it or more likely someone who reposted the video added the music.
Th sixties for me – childhood, only a radio on the farm. No electricity, no phone, no flushing toilet – not even a long drop. Just a maggot filled can in the outhouse outside the back gate.
The Beetles, the animals ect dressed in suit and tie. The sixties merged into the early seventies. Power lines, Phone, black and white tv though still the maggot filled can.
Conscription of 18 year olds to go off and ‘fight the commies’ – the protest era and popular groups no longer wore suit and tie. On my mothers side, she was the eldest of the siblings, my Uncle the youngest. He cam over to work with the old man and lived with us.
I guess I was around ten to twelve years old and he about 18 or 19. Within the conscription age bracket. We would watch the conscription lottery on the black and white tv each week to see if his number was up.
Horror movie right there on our tv screen…. Now we watch it in real time, not a a tv screen but on a computer device. The killing, the slaughter. Families destroyed. Victims of anglo imperial mindset.
Barry McGuire’s ‘Eve of Destruction’ wih several lyrics corrected would be excellent background music to what we now watch.

My mothers mother liked golf. She also like to have a roll up cigarette and a single glass of beer each evening.
I went and played golf with her on time when I was about 17 or 18. By the time we were about half way round he course, I had belted all the golf balls off into the scrub and that was the start and end of my short lived golfing career.

Rather than allow African and Asian leaders a say in important global matters, it would be better for serious decisions to be made by ‘the sort of people sitting around this table’.
‘We need a vehicle where we can find solutions for these challenges [the growth of China and India] together—so when these monsters arrive in 10 years, we will be able to deal with them’.
With gents like these, who need the Jew !

Indians are in cloud nine .
They had been elevated from the menu to the table now !

Prime Minister Mark Carney again defended inviting India’s prime minister to the G7 meeting in Alberta, saying it makes sense to have the leader of the world’s most populous country around the table when there are “big challenges” to discuss.

After all, they keep telling us,
Anglo and Indians share many common values, !

Are gringo cattles being led by the nose ?

We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”

That seven countries in five years plan coming to the final stage, bit behind schedule perhaps.

An alarming truth revealed by retired U.S. four-star general Wesley Clark: After 9/11, the U.S. planned to take out seven countries in five years, “starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.”

tptb agenda going like clockwork.
